"It's not my fault you made me get up at 6am." You grumble as you take a sip of your tea/coffee. Tensei chuckled.

"It's not my fault you scheduled the appointment for 9am." He digressed.

"I didn’t know it was in another city!" You groaned. "Trust me, if I knew that we would have to take a 2-hour train ride I would've scheduled it for later." The hot tea/coffee in your mug splashed against the cup as you waved it around, annoyed.

"If you really want to, I'm sure we can reschedule." Tensei suggested. "We're just meeting the florist."

"Yeah, the florist for our wedding! It needs to go perfect." You rinsed out your cup and put it in the sink. "What impression will we make if we reschedule?"

He moved over to the sink; "That we have our own lives that we need to balance with the wedding planning? Y'know, like normal people?" He teased as he put his cup in the sink as well. "Darling, you worry too much. It's fine." His hands reached out and grabbed yours. "Now let's leave so we're not late." He leaned forward and tilted his head up toward you, indicating that he wanted a kiss. You bent down to his level and booped his nose.

"Nuh uh. Go brush your teeth first, coffee breath."

He sighed dramatically. "Fine. But I better get my kiss when I get back!"

Okay so, got this thought for Tensei. Iida Tensei.

So every hero who knows Tensei or the reader knows what's going on. Tensei always took on a more "senior/mentor" approach towards reader. (reader is closer to Tenya's age so Tensei can't help but feel inclined to take on that kind of role)

And umm after that incident with Stain, reader just... Waits? Reader believes Tensei will be back on his feet someday! He'll do something! Reader visits Tensei when it he's in the hospital and keeps up with with agency for any updates.

Sooo, let's think that Reader volunteers to help 'train' UA students because "omg Tensei studied here!!". Imagine their surprise when they see Tenya in the Ingenium suit! Reader is all shocked. And maybe, maybe their a bit harsh on Tenya. Criticizing him a lot! Always 2 seconds away from saying, "you'll never be him! You'll never be my hero!"

But they don't. They don't, because Tenya thanks them a LOT! Tenya thinks reader is helping him become better! He's thinking about how well reader's criticisms are for this quirk. He thinks they get it! He thinks they want him to further the Ingenium name.

Everyone else is pitying him. Uraraka is telling Aizawa to but in and make you stop being so harsh on Tenya. But Aizawa knows why you are being this way (and decides it's not his place to say anything, he also knows Tenya doesn't mind)

Anyway, by the end of the training Tenya is telling the reader "I will remember the help you gave me today" as a way of telling them he owes them.

But reader stops him and says, “a meal. Invite me to your house for a meal with your family. And I'll do this again whenever you need.”

He says he'll have to confirm with his mom but he's down. You give him your card and tell him to text you for confirmation. (Internally you're thinking about which dress would impress Tensei)

(Aizawa is raising his eyebrow at your plan but AGAIN decides it's not his business).

Anywayyy thats all. There's a lot of other stuff but for now this is it. I can't help but picture Tensei as a veryyy "I'm not dating anyone 2 years younger than me" kind of guy. So that the direction I'm thinking of. I will definitely come back to this later.

So in your 3rd year,you bit the bullet,thanks to courage bestowed upon you by denki sero and mina, and asked him out on a date.

And later that day he asked you to be his s/o!

He was sweating bullets lemme tell ya! And although ppl woulda thought yall went from 0-100 REAL Fast,you knew that goin thru the talkin phase would be kinda stupid,especially when you already knew everything abt eachother!

Iida isnt really big on pda but if he knows you are ,he tries his best to be okay with it.if you initiate it hes mostly okay but he wouldn’t really do anything other than a little hand squeeze on his own.

The iida family aren’t particularly judgy or concerned about your family back ground(they know that if someone managed to make tenya fall in love,really in love,they were the right choice) but they were however adamant on the fact that he treat you right

Tensei himself gave tenya a good talking to the day they had you over for dinner,and even though you were having a nice chat with his mum,you caught a few words of tenseis lecture.

When it comes to gifts they arent really big or flashy. Flowers he saw out in the school garden or just little things that remind you of him are his little gifts to you

I won't do OCs, but an exception is for example would be: Endeavor, and (Y/n) were together as teens, and (Y/n) got pregnant, and he left her, now he's trying to make things right with his son.

(Y/N) is still in the story, but the main focus is her son and his relationship with Endeavor, and (Y/n) and him are in no way getting back together.

"You can do it!"

You yelled out to Tensei Iida from the top of a hill. It wasn't very steep, it was a slow gradual incline. He was at the bottom of the hill in his wheelchair trying to push himself up alone. This was all part of his long recovery from the attack on him in Hosu. The attack that left him crippled. The attack that forced him to take early retirement.

He knew was never going to get his ability to walk back, he had given up on that long before his younger brother got Recovery Girl, his school nurse, to try and help him. Tensei knew how her quirk worked, and if the best of the best, the woman with the greatest medic type quirk couldn't heal him, nothing would.

"Tensei, babe! You got this!"

Tensei tried to push on the handles attached to the wheels of his chair and push up the hill. He knew he’d never get his walk back, all he could do now was work on adjusting to his new life. Adjust to wheelchairs, adjust to never using his legs again, adjust to getting taken care of for the rest of his life. He tried but it was futile, going uphill was just so hard on his own. He wasn’t there yet, wasn’t strong enough yet.

He hated this. He absolutely hated this. He hated depending on you. You were giving everything up for him. You barely worked anymore, you were always with him. You ran around and did errands for him. You went grocery shopping, you did his laundry, you did his dishes, you helped him get in the bath, and you wheeled him around. You were constantly accommodating your schedule and life for him. He was sick of it. You were his girlfriend, not his caretaker. He hated helplessly watching as people had to accommodate him, but he hated it most watching you give up everything.

"I can't do it! Can we find a smaller hill?!"

You jogged down the hill with a smile on your face. Why were you always smiling? Didn't you realize what a burden he was? How awful your life was going to be constantly taking care of him? You’d started to hate him, and your sex life wasn't going to be what it used to be.

"I don't see why you're in such a rush to push yourself around. The doctor said it’s going to take time to get used to it, besides we live together, I'm always gonna be there to help you. Getting sick of me already?"

You grabbed the handles on the top of Tensei’s wheelchair and turned him around. Further away from the hill he couldn't get over and closer towards the busy streets of Japan. Tensei clenched his fists as he tried to answer you. You'd been together since high school, years of your relationship taught him that there were going to be ups and downs, it taught him he needed to be honest above all else. He wanted to be honest, he wanted to tell you how much of a burden he was, but he didn't want to lose you. Not after all these years, not after how much you meant to him.

"I don't want to always depend on you. I... I don't like this. I don't like you always pushing me around, you should be focusing on your career. If I just push myself, then I’d be able to get groceries on my own, I could go run the errands instead."

"Don't say it like that."

You pushed the wheelchair up to a busy road and pressed the button on the street lamp. You walked in front of the chair and squatted down so you could talk to Tensei on a more equal level. You grabbed onto his hands as your eyes met and you gave Tensei a warm smile.

"You're not a burden, so don't act like it. I like running around and doing errands for you. We live together, and groceries are a need for us both so don't act like it's some inconvenience."

You stood back up and stretched out your body, tired limbs stretching as you arched your back. Pushing Tensei could get tiring sometimes, but only because you lacked the muscles to push all his body mass around.  

"As for my career, I'm a writer. It can done from home."

"You're a news writer. You need to be out in the streets, reporting news. Not on the couch, editing your college's work from a shared google docs document. They get all the credit, and you don't."

You crossed your arms and huffed at your boyfriend. He was being stupid. Stupid and unfair. After all the years you'd been together, after junior high and high school, after college and getting your first jobs. He should've known by now how much he meant to you. He should've known how important and priceless to you he was. He should've known you weren't letting him go, crippled or not.

"I am a news writer, but news gets boring very quickly. Maybe I’ll write a book instead. 'Love For Dummies', how is that for a title?"

"Just because you've been in a long stable relationship doesn't mean you can write that. People who switch jobs like that are unhappy."

"I’m referring to you, you dumbass!"

You and Tensei had begun yelling at each other, heatedly pointing and scowling, not even caring that citizens and bystanders were staring at you. In your heat of rage, you had stomped your foot and stepped on a pebble. It knocked you off balance and you began to slip back into the busy road. Without thinking, Tensei used his hands and with all his might he pushed his chair forward, grabbed your shirt, and pulled you onto him before rolling backward.

"You're so dumb. Are you trying to die or just get crippled like me? You should've taken the back streets, you could've ride."

"I slipped, it was an accident, I'm sorry."

Your body felt uncomfortable being sprawled out on top of Tensei haphazardly. You felt like you were crushing his legs, but you knew he couldn't feel them anyway. Your little sniffles drew Tensei’s attention to you. 

"Hey, don't cry. I'm sorry, you’re not dumb."

"It’s not that, I just... You think I'm unhappy with you?"

Tensei ran his fingers through your hair, and you tried to hold back your tears. It just hurt. It hurt knowing that your partner felt so hopeless and feeling so fruitless, and you couldn't do anything.

"I know you're unhappy, you just don’t realize it yet. There are so many news breaks that happened the past few weeks, and you couldn’t catch any of them because you were with me. You’re missing out on your dreams, you’re gonna realize it after all your opportunity is gone and you'll be so unhappy."

"You're so wrong. I'm not gonna be unhappy. I'll never be unhappy with you. I only ever became a news writer because you became a hero. It’s so stupid, I know, but after you told me you were going to be a hero I decided to be a news writer. That way, even if we broke up, I’d still be able to chase after you. I don’t care what kind of life it is, I want you Tensei. Tensei, you were my first love, and I’ll be damned if anyone but you is my last."

You tried to pull yourself up off of Tensei, sure your added weight must be hurting him somehow despite not having legs, but he wrapped his arms around you to keep you there.

"I wasn't planning on asking you this, but it appeared to me that life is short. Will you marry me?"

"Yes, yes. God yes. A million times yes. We're gonna have your brother as the best man, and we'll invite your old coworkers, and god, we have to tell your mom, she's gonna be so excite-"

Tensei presses his lips against yours frantically, you both smile into the kiss and pull apart before erupting in laughter. You were completely oblivious from the forming crowd. Oblivious to the people, the people who recognised Tensei Iida, the newly retired Ingenium. Oblivious to the crowd holding up their phones and recording your near death proposal, all that mattered was each other.

"Let's go home first, okay? Then we can start planning."

✨Bakugo✨ is a mean tutor, I’m sorry. He’ll absolutely roast you alive if you get over half of the questions wrong. “Hah?! How did you pass class with these grades?!” He’s smart but ruthless. Funnily enough, he’s still soft with you because you’re sat on his lap with his chin resting on your shoulder. “Alright, by the time I’m done with you, you’ll be able to calculate series in your sleep!” But when you finally get everything correct, it’s SO rewarding. Your boyfriend looks exceedingly pleased with himself and he hugs you from behind. “Good job. You finally did it. Now we can go on our dates like usual.”

✨Shouto✨ is very patient with you. He explains all of your errors and mistakes like a professor - a very boring one. Admittedly, his dull tone has made you doze off more than once. But the best parts are when you take breaks and his sister gives you two snacks. You’ve probably gained a pound from the amount of mochi she feeds you two. “Hm, maybe if we have the snacks at the end of the session you’ll be able to focus more…” Suddenly you’re able to argue with him in perfect broken English.

✨Deku✨ has the amazing ability to make you more confused than you initially were when you arrived. He spouts on and on and on about theories and random historians that developed the techniques or ideas. “Did you know that Aristotle- Y/N, are you paying attention?” Crap, was that drool on the corner of your mouth? “Oh, uhhh might’ve missed the past few minutes but I finished the worksheet.” He sheepishly laughs and scratches the back of his head, “Sorry, I’ll look over it for you.”

✨Kirishima✨ isn’t helping you; you’re helping him. It’s not that he’s a bad student, but that he lacks the will to apply himself and is a bad test taker. “So x equals 9?” After realizing how well he responds to constructive feedback, you smile. “Yes! You got that right!” He lets out a tired sigh, “Then why are my grades so low?” Poor baby looks like he wants to cry. You’ve never seen him in such low spirits so he must take this seriously. “You’re just a bad test taker. Try to relax, get sleep, and don’t stress too much!” Your advice really helps him out, so he treats you to a nice date.

✨Denki✨ is a clueless and helpless soul every time you two study together. Let’s face it, you’ve probably gotten dumber through spending time with him. “Why is English so stupidly hard?! Their, there, they’re. They sound the same!” You honestly have a hard time understanding the complex nature of the language, too. So, you both decide to watch Disney movies in only English. The best part is that you’ve both started to understand it more; the worst part is that Denki now also knows the songs in English.

✨Iida✨ has been waiting for this moment. Honestly, he’s been fantasizing about studying with you because he loves the aesthetic. The possibility of you having trouble and then him needing to lean in? And then you bumping heads and laughing together?? Yeah, he’s a nerd through and through. So don’t be surprised when you ask him for help that he exclaims “Yes! I have a weekly schedule planned out” and then the library is booked for only you two.

People say if you don’t like your job, then it’s not for you. That’s what your friends always told you when you would shyly mention your strict office job. The one that would have you coming in at odd hours and never allowing visitors of any kind. It was best that they saw you leave the house every day in a pencil skirt and tights. Because it wouldn’t raise any questions. After all, not many people can handle a lifestyle like this. 

Your job is a simple one yet pays well. Really well. It has you rubbing elbows with the highest-ranked Pro-Heroes in all of Japan. And all you have to do is a few things: When a hero hosts a party, show up. When a hero flirts with you, you flirt back. And when the host tells you to bend over? Well, let’s just say you’ve gotten in the habit of stretching before every event. It saves time that way.

 But to put it in layman’s terms, you’re a hired whore. 

 Behind the closed doors and thick walls that hide Japan’s best of the best and their parties, there’s you in an itsy, bitsy dress with your legs spread. A tradition that started long ago with some heroes who were pent up with keeping up the good boy, good girl act.  But all the attendees are sworn to secrecy. Multiple layers of trust have to be earned in order to get so close. In the end, it’s all to protect themselves. To protect each other. And most of all, to protect you.

 You’re a delicacy after all. The latest and the greatest in the long line of Pro-Hero Whores. You’re the entertainment. And the entertainment shouldn’t ever worry about anything besides being entertaining. And even then, you don’t have to worry about a single thing. 

 Just wait for the lights to dim low and for the host to make their announcement.
