Bailarina y vedette mexicana de origen brasileño quien, a finales de la década de 1970, formó parte del elenco del programa de televisión mexicano La carabina de Ambrosio de 1978 a 1985.

La figura de Montes se inmortalizó en México, gracias a las imágenes que duraban tan solo 40 segundos, a la entrada y salida del programa en la pantalla nacional, gracias a su sensual rutina de baile y su risa singular.

It follows five teenagers that manage an underground business around selling homeworks and exams in their highschool

It's full of great 90's Mexican rock, amazing characters and comedy while also touching themes like LGBTQ relationships, depression and classism

Overall, a 10/10 experience, go watch it please

La reciente viralidad reaquirida del caso Paco Stanley me ha hecho caer aún más profundo en mi obsesión con el final del siglo pasado y los inicios tempranos del actual.

Por alguna razón ver sus últimos programas me hacen sentir un confort muy especial y me remite a mi infancia temprana, aquella que no he dejado de buscar incansablemente a pesar de ser consciente de su imposible retorno. Y ni siquiera es por él, pues yo a duras penas tenía 2 años de existir cuando lo asesinaron y ni idea tenía de su importancia, pero la producción de los mismos los hace tan groseramente fechados que no puedo escapar de su hipnotismo que me victimiza recordando esas épocas viendo programas como Grand Prix, La Historia Detrás del Mito o Gente con Chispa en TV Azteca junto a mi familia a pesar de no poder razonar su contenido del todo hasta años después. Visualmente la televisión de esa época es tan peculiar que no puedo evitar remitirme a aquel entonces, como aventarse de un clavado a una alberca tan profunda que parece imposible salir por el abrumador peso y densidad del agua, y sin embargo tampoco tengo prisa de salir.

Nada me haría más feliz que poder vivir de nuevo aquellos ayeres, aunque sea solo por una semana.

Unexpected

I was pleasantly surprised to have walked into a small family owned Mexican restaurant that I've been going to since I was in diapers to see that on one of the TVs they were playing Danny Phantom.

Random and totally unexpected as you'd think a show like Danny Phantom wouldn't be playing on a random TV in a random restaurant but it was, the kids of the owner of the restaurant were watching it.

My first move was to try and lead my mom to to table where I had clear view of that TV in particular, but my mom quickly chose a table where that TV was blocked by a wall lol, so I did weird stretchs to try and see that TV.

Saw the last half of Phantom Menace and the first half of Ultimate Enemy (meaning the episodes were playing in order). Idk, I was just happy to see Danny Phantom on a random restaurants TV lol.
