This picture was originally my half of an Art Trade with Psy-Fairy! It was so fun working on this picture back then, and I’m so glad Psy-Fairy had liked it! 💖 But I was worried if the picture’s overall lighting was too dark, and maybe not good enough, especially since it was my first Art Trade too, so I decided to remake it. 😅

I hope my new version looks better this time! 😊

I am so happy with how this Ancient Mew tablet came out! I used gold paint to give it a bit of a sparkle in the right light which makes it feel ethereal!

Etheria Lake 

"Etheria Lake" I based the location name on the words "Etherial" and "Euphoria" seeing as Mew is happily visiting the goldfish in the lake. The goldfish are basically my goldfish, the front two being Mikasa (orange and white comet) and Hanji (yellow comet). The back three fish are Lilium, Magik and Sonny who I still have to this day. Sadly Mikasa passed away 6 years ago and Hanji 2 years ago so I would be in a true state of happiness and euphoria to see them again. There are other goldfish I had in my childhood who I do need to draw one day, but these are the ones I raised with my partner. I will also have to draw the 4 fish babies I raised too.

I had fun drawing the last mewtwo so I took a swing at what a mewtwo based on my own Mew oc would look like. since I posted the last one here, it felt pertinent to post this one here too.  Myriad is a mew from an alternate universe from the typical one; it’s purpose is essentially to collect ‘flaws’ in the frame of existence, it flickers in and out of many worlds, and I headcanon it relative as a ‘shadow’ of the original mew; a byproduct of it’s creation, a reflection  I’m not sure exactly why a mewtwo would be created from Myriad, perhaps some scientist got a hold of its DNA, and seeing it as similar enough to a mew it was used for further testing I imagine that it is, however, different from other mewtwo- and harder to contain. Since Myriad has the ability to shift universes, the mewtwo as a result could easily free itself and spent a long time on its own before searching for its ‘origin’, eventually finding and befriending Myriad.  They are both dark/fairy type, rather than psychic

Mew is a pink, bipedal Pokémon with mammalian features. It has a rounded, wide snout, triangular ears, and large, blue eyes. It has short arms with three-fingered paws and large hind paws with oval markings on the soles. Its tail is long and thin with an ovoid tip. Its fur is so fine and thin, it can only be seen under a microscope. Mew is said to have the DNA of every single Pokémon contained within its body, and as such is able to learn any attack.

As demonstrated by its behavior in the first and eighth Pokémon movies, it shows signs of intelligence, curiosity, playfulness, and even selflessness. Mew is incredibly adaptable, able to travel freely in the air or underwater. As seen in Pokémon Snap and the Super Smash Bros. series, it can create a green, yellow, or pink orb of energy around itself for protection, although only the pink orb is seen in the latter.

Reports found in Cinnabar Island's Pokémon Mansion note scientific expeditions that have sighted Mew in Guyana, South America, the place where it was first discovered. Since Mew can make itself invisible at will, very few people have knowingly seen it, leading some scientists to declare it extinct and most to assume it to be a mirage. It will only show itself to a person who is pure of heart.

Mew is the only known Pokémon capable of using the exclusive Z-Move Genesis Supernova.
