Globgor’s body instantly clenched the minute this….monster child said he wanted to ask him questions. So, this was another interrogation. He could feel the threat of vomit rising in his throat. What kind of methods of torture would this kid use? Knives? Fire? Or worst of all…the whip?

…

Globgor blinked in confusion at the boy’s line of questions. He wasn’t asking about anything political. Just…random facts. In fact, he didn’t sound like he was demanding the answers either. He sounded more like Star when she asked for details about his love story with his wife. Excited and eager. Did he misread the situation?

His body relaxed as his face matched the boy’s in term of curiosity, though his more skeptic. Just who was this kid? The older monster hadn’t exactly caught all the questions thrown at him. He hoped he wasn’t some crazy fanboy. Princess Ponyhead warned him they’d for come for him one day…

Shaking his head, Globgor decided not to let himself by intimidated by a child he knew nothing about. He was an adult and a parent after all. He straightened himself up the best he could and cleared his throat.

“Young man, are you aware that I’m currently tied up? Before I answer anything, you need to do me a solid and free me! And I hope you had nothing to do with this, because every person who ever tried to imprison me is dead now. Now, I’ll go easy on you since you’re just a kid, but only if you correct your mistake this minute!”

Globgor woke up from the feeling of his furry chin tapping his chest. It gave him a jolt, allowing to slowly regain consciousness. He knew something was amiss once he realized he was in a sitting position as opposed to laying down.

He was not in his bed. Had he fallen asleep while working? He tried to lift a hand to rub the sleep out of his pair of eyes but found that he couldn’t. This caused alarm bells to go off in his head, wiping away any remainder of sleep. He knew all too well the feeling of being tied up.

Sure enough, Globgor looked down at himself to see that he was chained to some sort of large chair. His upper body was bound to the back while his wrists were on the arms. His feet were stuck to the legs. On top of that, he was the only physical thing to be seen in this empty, white room that he didn’t recognize.

What had he been doing before he fell asleep? No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t remember…

Globgor gave an annoyed huff. “Okay so….” he said to himself, “either I’m in some sort of trouble….or Eclipsa got me to agree to something weird last night.”

“Oh, wow. I mean, words can’t describe how betrayed I’d feel. Abortion is a very controversial subject, so I’m not going to go into that. I don’t want to offend anyone. But for Eclipsa to lose a child—our child—and not tell me….it would crush me. Look, I know we’re not the most honest people in Mewni, but we’ve never kept secrets from one another! And something so huge as this….I won’t go so far as to say it would ruin our marriage, but it would definitely destroy my trust.

And if I can’t trust Eclipsa, who can I trust?”

Kanden lazily walked around a corner into the throne room, carrying a paper bag.

"Globgor, I'm back from cleaning up my mess. There's a couple mutations running around that weren't there when the fight started, but I don't think it'll mess with the eco-system too much. Anyway, I wanted to apologize for being facetious earlier, so I stopped in town and got us some of those calzones that tell you how you're gonna die. I don't know if they'll still work, though. Partly because your world's magic's gone, but mostly because yours is vegan and that's...that's never a good time."

He expected to have found Globgor by now. "Hello?" He stopped at a sight that would make a lesser being shudder. A trail of blood, leading away from the throne. "Hmm...looks like I wasn't the only one partying."

Kanden quizzically looked over the trail and, without skipping a beat, took out one of the calzones and dabbed up some of the blood with it. A mouth opened at one end and the snack spoke through it's cheesy filling. "You will die bleeding at the bottom of some stairs."

Kanden grinned. "Future tense, good sign, means we can still change it." He shot up and ran alongside the trail.

Globgor hissed through his fangs as he struggled to suppress the severe wound he had sustained below his ribs. This was okay. It was fine. He had endured much worse than this before. He just....needed to crawl to the medical wing. Quickly. Before he bled out.

He had really let himself grow soft to have not seen that assassin waiting for him in the throne room. He’d only had time to throw off his attacker before falling down the stairwell and crashing to the floor.

His wound was small but deep. With all the blood he was losing, he was afraid the knife had hit one of his organs. Hopefully nothing vital. Corn, why did it hurt so much?! How he hoped the weapon hadn’t been laced with something!

His eyes snapped open as he heard someone approach his crumbled form. He sat up the best he could, believing the attacker had come to finish the job. He breathed a sigh of relief (something he never thought he’d do in regards to this person) at the sight of his kind of friend, Kanden.

“Kanden! Boy, am I glad to see you! Do you think you can help me to the medical wing and-“ He shook his head in the midst of his request. “Wait, no. Scratch that. I can get there myself. The one who attacked me is still out there!” He sucked on some air before continuing. “Go find my family! He might be going after them next! You have to keep them safe!”

When Eclipsa got pregnant, how did she go to the doctor? Did she even go?

“It just so happened that I was good friends with a doctor. There was definitely no way for us to take her to a hospital, so all her medical treatment had to be done inside the Monster Temple. My friend, Llorona, had to do a lot of research on Mewman biology in order to help Eclipsa, but she managed to make her pregnancy as comfortable as she could. Not because she particularly trusted my wife at that point, but she was my friend and had kind of a weird obsession with children...

Corn, I miss her.”

IS GLOBGOR’S HAIR ACTUALLY PINK??? Seriously, we’ve seen him in three episodes now, and every time his hair had this pink tint to it, so we can’t say it was just the lighting in one scene!

My mind is kind of blown right now. If anyone finds an image of Globgor from Monster and the Queen, Cornonation, or Doop-Doop where his hair is clearly white, let me know!

This is AMAZING!!!

Well, in general, these are my characters (except for Globgor, of course). I am generally quite embarrassed to upload my creation. In general, the fandom seems to be dead, but it seems not, well, in general, nothing is clear. I drew these characters for future chapters of The Queen Devided fanfiction about the story Eclipse. Globgor was confused by this. He hadn’t spent enough time in the Earth dimension to know how people lived without “powers” or magic. This girl seemed like she was treated with prejudice that was similar to the kind he had endured. Why? She was protecting them! At least there had always been some form of conflict between monsters and Mewmans, so the prejudice at least had a shaky leg to stand on. This girl looked like a normal human. 

He decided to put aside his concern for his fellow monster for the time being. No way these people would accept him if they couldn’t even accept one of their own. However, this didn’t come close to erasing his concern. 

“Young lady, how old are you? If you don’t mind me asking.”

Aisha Khan arrived to the city of Echo Creek. She heard something strange happened and was sent to investigate. Christopher would normally handle these sort of weirdness...but due to other problems he is dealing with he asked someone else to go instead. So, Aisha arrived to do a little investigating.

She figured it would be a minor problem and would be back in time for dinner. Welp...that isn’t going to happen now when she saw the strangeness of this place. All around she sees monsters, strange mythical creatures, and giant spiders. Oh yeah none of this is normal.

“Oh boy. I better record everything so I can show this to Chris later,” she took out her phone and begins documenting all the weirdness here. “This feels like someone opened a portal and now these creatures are here...” she then spots a giant spider going for a nearby car with people inside.

“Hey! Back away from the vehicle!” she shouted at the spider, which turned to her and hissed. “Don’t you hiss at me you eight-legged freak!”

"I am your FATHER! I can do whatever I need to in order to keep you safe, and that's what I intend to do!"

Globgor had always promised he would never be this parent. A parent that would try to control his child and limit their freedom. He and Eclipsa had been repressed in every way imaginable, and he had never wanted to suffocate Meteora the same way.

On top of that, he was a very logical man. He always had been. Granted, before Eclipsa, his rationality had been overshadowed by his intense rage. If his heart wasn't hammering for the umpteenth in regards to his daughter, he would know that there was no way he would imprison her in her own home.

Unfortunately, Globgor's heartache had caused him to snap.

"And what would happen if I did leave you alone, huh? Would I get a message telling me the corpse of my only daughter was discovered nearby?! Don't you understand? That would literally kill me! And your mother....hasn't she suffered enough? Don't you ever think about her at all?!"

She never really thought about it. How many times has she almost died at this point? It just kinda comes with being the way she is. Reckless and stupid.

"The only reason you keep thinking I'm dead is because you won't leave me alone!!"

Her claws were digging into her palms. She felt her nose tingle a bit like she was about to cry. Of course she made sure to hold that back.

Globgor kept a smile on his face, although he made sure to take in as much as the boy’s physical form as he could. He was always ready to give a stranger a fair chance, no matter how unusual they appeared to be, but that didn’t mean he didn’t prepare himself in case the chance was in vain. It was going to take more than one generous act to earn the Monster King’s complete trust.

Plus the guy was wearing a hood over his face. Was there anything more shady than that?

“Well, why don’t you tell me a little bit about yourself? Your name, your dimension of origin? I hope you understand that as King of Mewni, I don’t feel very comfortable with you using magic on my subjects without me knowing more about you. Sometimes things that appear nice and kind can actually hold an evil purpose. And vice versa, of course!”

“Hey there! I don’t think I’ve seen magic like yours before. It was very kind of you to share some of it to help that monster. Not a lot of Mewmans would do that. Are you new to this dimension?”

Nova almost jumped enough to have his hood fly off his head. It would have been a strange twist of irony for the healing magic Butterfly to have needed a doctor. He would calm his heart down. 

Turning to face the size-shifter, most of his face would remain covered under the shadow provided by his hood, only his eyes would be noticeable inside the black cover. “There are few that are capable of healing magic.” His voice was a lot more cheerful. As long as he was free from being identified, he could relive his youth.

“The Slime Monster would present his thanks and greet Globgor. “Take care.” Nova would call out keeping his attention mainly on the monster king as the Slime Monster turned to be on their way. “There is no reason I can imagine why I shouldn’t help. Who knows how long it will be until the people here can learn to treat the injuries on monsters.”

“I am. This dimension looks to be better than mine.”
