How's it going so far

*looks up at sky filled with dragons spewing green sludge on the residents of Mewni while lying eggs that hatch into two-headed snakes. On their necks are balloons the read ‘Happy Birthday Meteora’*

“I.......I don’t know where I went wrong. I just....I just don’t know where I went wrong.”

Globgor was confused by this. He hadn’t spent enough time in the Earth dimension to know how people lived without “powers” or magic. This girl seemed like she was treated with prejudice that was similar to the kind he had endured. Why? She was protecting them! At least there had always been some form of conflict between monsters and Mewmans, so the prejudice at least had a shaky leg to stand on. This girl looked like a normal human. 

He decided to put aside his concern for his fellow monster for the time being. No way these people would accept him if they couldn’t even accept one of their own. However, this didn’t come close to erasing his concern. 

“Young lady, how old are you? If you don’t mind me asking.”

Aisha Khan arrived to the city of Echo Creek. She heard something strange happened and was sent to investigate. Christopher would normally handle these sort of weirdness...but due to other problems he is dealing with he asked someone else to go instead. So, Aisha arrived to do a little investigating.

She figured it would be a minor problem and would be back in time for dinner. Welp...that isn’t going to happen now when she saw the strangeness of this place. All around she sees monsters, strange mythical creatures, and giant spiders. Oh yeah none of this is normal.

“Oh boy. I better record everything so I can show this to Chris later,” she took out her phone and begins documenting all the weirdness here. “This feels like someone opened a portal and now these creatures are here...” she then spots a giant spider going for a nearby car with people inside.

“Hey! Back away from the vehicle!” she shouted at the spider, which turned to her and hissed. “Don’t you hiss at me you eight-legged freak!”

“Star giving my wife a chance. It may have been a small act to her, but to me, it meant everything. No doubt my family and I would have been imprisoned until the end of time if it weren’t for her. All because she could see injustice where none of her ancestors could. I don’t think I can truly put into words how much I owe that young lady. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for her! She is precious to me, and I easily consider her part of my family. Is it weird that I hope one day she’ll come to see me as some sort of distant great great something grandpa? I know we’re not even close to being related but....darn it, I want her to be my granddaughter!”

What would you do if Eclipsa told you that she's pregnant but, as Meteora's still a baby, she doesn't feel ready to have another one?

“I would remind her how terrified we felt when we found out she was pregnant with Meteora. We had no idea what was going to be brought into the world, let alone how it was supposed to be raised. On top of this, we were fugitives at the time. We had no way of giving our child a happy future, and we knew that.

Regardless, the moment Meteora was born was the most incredible feeling either of us had ever felt. None of our fears mattered anymore after we finally got to hold her in our arms. We both knew we’d do anything to make her happy, so what did we have to worry about? Nothing was too big a sacrifice for her.

Then I would remind her that we were no longer in hiding. We could finally walk freely in society, so no doubt we would be able to provide a lot more for this child than we did when our first was born. Eclipsa was always a good mother, but now she would be even better with the experience under her belt. She has nothing to worry about. She can do anything if her heart wants it enough.”

Hi Globgor! You probably don’t remember me but I wanted to tell you that my sister and I got away from our parents and all the abuse. We’re living happily and safe. Thank you so much for your kind words and comfort that you and Eclipsa have given me.

I have a name suggestion for a boy name! What about Deimos? It's one of the name of the many moons of the planet mars and in Greek mythology it was the name of the god of terror or dread!!!! >:3 What you think?

“That’s not a half-bad name, and I appreciate the research you put into it! I can’t help but feel like it’s a name more suited for the Lucitors though. Doesn’t it sound pretty demonic? The Underworld cut off its blood connections to non-Mewman kind many centuries ago. So, technically, monsters and demons are not the same thing.

……Not that any of that has anything to do with what you asked. Hm. Sometimes I think I overshare with my answers. What do you guys think?”

I've been wondering this for so long but... how was your proposal to Eclipsa?

“It was fantastic! It was after I had told Eclipsa that I had to leave the kingdom in order to protect the few monsters that still followed me at that point. With the Solarian Warrior program taking affect, our numbers were diminishing by the bucketload. We were rapidly losing the war. I had to leave in order to survive. Of course, I had to at least try to convince Eclipsa to come with me. My followers knew about my relationship with her, and they were willing to give her a chance to prove she wasn’t like her ancestors. I knew I was asking a lot of her, to abandon everything she held dear in order to live as a fugitive, but I guess I’ve always been selfish when it comes to my feelings for her. I couldn’t bear the thought of never seeing her again. I felt like I was going to die whether I stayed or left Mewni. But if I stayed, many monsters would die as well...

I waited for her at the bog before my team and I left. It was the longest hour of my life. She hadn’t given me an answer. If she didn’t show up, I would have no choice but to leave her behind. I could feel my heart cracking with every passing second....until finally, I saw her. She had showed up just in the nick of time, ready to go wherever I went. I can’t describe the love and happiness I felt at that moment. I remember running up to her, showering her with kisses, never caring that my team was within eyeview. For many years the war had put a wedge in our relationship. Not enough to break it of course, but enough to give us plenty of heartache and stress. Finally, at long last, I didn’t have to hide my love. I didn’t have to choose between her and the good of my people. We were on the same side, at long last!

We had often talked about marrying each other one day when peace had finally broken between our races. Sadly, it had seemed like that day was never going to happen. I decided then and there I couldn’t wait anymore. I proposed to her, right in front of my people. It wouldn’t be like we expected, but who cared? We would be the first monster/Mewman spouses in history, and no one could stop us! I assure you, that glorious moment was filled with joyous tears, embraces, and such unquenchable love. 

......Neither of us knew that Shastacan and the High Commission had been following her. My people and I were immediately captured. Get this, they actually tried to convince me that Eclipsa had purposefully lead them to me. As if I would buy such a ridiculous lie. That didn’t stop my beloved from falling into a pit of self-loathing for having unwittingly played a part in my arrest. What should have been one of the best nights of my life quickly turned into one of my most horrifying...”

Globgor smiled with endearment. “Ah, you remind me of another brave girl around your age. She always does the right thing too, no matter how unpopular it makes her. I admire your bravery and noble heart.” He folded his hands together while studying her closely. “So, it’s fair for me to assume you fight monsters, yes? Or at least ones that threaten your home. Okay, that’s fair. I’m not going to pretend every monster is a saint. I just hope that you give them a fair chance before you start attacking them.”

His smile vanished before he spoke again. “You said there were more of you, yes? Would they give me a fair chance to meet them? Or would they attack immediately, assuming I’m there to cause trouble? Are they as open-minded as you are, Aisha?”
