The staff is exhausted, these idols constantly need pampering and reassurance.

An incoming call lights up Tea's phone, her  kitty Genghis her wallpaper, her black panther as she refers to him.

"Hello"

She listens with some intent from the caller, "I'm really tired" she pipes  in.

Making sure she is alone she continues "This guy today, mentally exhausting"

The caller offers sympathies.

"He is so obnoxious, 'how's my hair?' 'Is this the best angle?'"

You get the picture!".

"It's  our job, his is to  sit pretty like a well trained poodle!"

"Talentless Moron"

"Sounds great, see you then".

Call ended.

Tea was not alone as she suspected, the observer now in a mood to be tied silently  walks away formulating a plan.

Tea is known for her fashion sense, always color coordinated, from top to toe. Makeup and jewelry set to match. Her love is shoes, owning at least fifty pairs.

Her favorite fragrances adorn her dresser. Some may think she is vain. She prefers metalicious.  She would never leave her apartment unless her outfit had passed her careful inspection.

Even her vehicle is a fashion statement.

Arriving home from what she considered  a grueling day on the set of 'Johnny's communication center' she just wants to unwind.

She is interrupted by the buzzing of the door bell. Peeking through the blinds she sees what she perceives as the delivery man exiting the building.

Opening her door, a box is placed neatly on her welcome mat. 

'Strange I didn't order anything' she whispers.

Bringing the parcel inside she opens the box.  Pure delight sets her pulse racing.

The most astonishing shoes she has set her eyes on.

High heels, one of her vices, red covered in sparkling stones.

'Wow' looking  for a card, she discovers none. ``Maybe it's a delivery error?" 

The shoes enchant, demand to be worn.

"They fit perfectly" as she models them around her apartment.

"Now I know how Gollum felt, I'm never giving them up"

That night she sleeps with the heels embracing her feet.

The following day at work only  the perceptive notice that Tea's usual fashion sense is off. 

She herself is in seventh heaven. Johnny nods his greeting to Tea, with a smirk of satisfaction.

The calendar days pass by, time passes as it always has.

Every day Tea is sporting her new shoes, her attire slowly undergoing an upheaval. 

Gone are the days of her impeccable dress code, her attire no longer matches.

In fact nothing does.

All she cares for are her high heels.

Johnny for his part, says nothing watching her fashion sense decline  day after day.

Gratification his reward.

'Trained poodle my ass'.

'Talentless moron? Bitch!.

His thoughts belie his warm  smile he offers the staff  and cameras.

Childhood friend Sia, is concerned and a little embarrassed.

'How could she wear this outfit for their lunch? The colors  totally clash! What is she thinking? This shoe obsession is out of control".

'She is a train wreck'

Smiling and nodding Sia absently listens to her childhood friend.

'Drugs?!? Is that the answer for this nightmare she considers fashion?'

With each day her once perfect dress code deteriorates. Tea believes she is the epitome of fashion.

People keep their comments  to themselves except  for one.

"What the hell are you wearing? "

Johnny questions.

She smiles indulgently at him, "the new trend" as she passes.

Johnny laughs, it's not a pleasant sound.

Tea parks in her usual parking space and exits her vehicle heading towards the building's elevators.

The parking attendants give her a look of curiosity as she passes by.

In fact everyone's eyes are focused on Tea today.

'I knew this outfit was a winner' she tells herself proudly.

Making her way to today's shoot, gasps and giggles can be heard.

Johnny watches Tea and his revenge is almost complete. He smiles.

"Good morning" eyeing her with 

a look of anticipation.

"Good morning" she promptly replies.

"Rough night last night?" He laughs loudly.

Totally perplexed by his statement.

"I mean..look at what you are wearing!".

"What are you talking about?"

Johnny emotions her to the nearest mirror.

As she stares at her reflection she sees perfection.

"Your point, is what?" 

Johnny  smiles, a smile of wicked delight.

"This outfit is divine," Tea tells him.

"Are you positive? Look again" directing her to once again gaze upon her reflective image.

When she does so all the colour from  her face  drains away.

What she sees can not be possible.

This is not the outfit she left the apartment wearing!

A scream reverberates throughout the building.

What she sees is beyond her comprehension.

A red lace satin  cami and shorts and robe, and her gorgeous heels gone!

Replaced by the most grotesque hideous shoes her eyes have ever set on.

Her scream full of horror, anguish and shame. 

She runs out of the building, as fast as she can.

Johnny laughs.

"Trained poodle? Talentless moron!"

Laughing so hard his eyes water.
