this very weird attempt to shift the blame for racism away from certain players simply because they ‘weren't on the bus’ is incredibly frustrating.

ALL the players on the argentinian national team are complicit because none of them have spoken up to condemn these racist chants. do not forget, this is not the first instance of racism from the argentinian national team.

during the world cup victory celebrations, they were seen singing chants mocking mbappé, and emi martinez was holding a doll with Mbappé's face on it. the chant they were singing in the video was created in 2022 and those on the bus were singing it perfectly. are you stupid enough to think this is their first time chanting it?

hate to bring up mbappé again but when he commented that FOR HIM the euros are more difficult than the world cup (very understandable given his record), various members of the argentinian national team, including messi, were quick to condemn his comments, despite argentina not even being mentioned. why are they quiet now?

moreover, turning a serious issue of racism and transphobia into fodder for GOAT debates or club rivalries is incredibly insensitive and mind-numbing to see. these issues deserve to be addressed directly and seriously, not used as a tool for scoring points in unrelated arguments.

mind you, this is not me saying these players are racist but we just do not know. at the end of the day, you do not know these people and until they speak up, they are complicit — messi, macca, all of them.
