Okay but I have a question: both of my Werewolf AU ideas are basically a retelling of Beauty & the Beast, but the werewolf part isn't permanent??? Like shapeshifting is a thing.... werewolf Dabi specifically can shapeshift into a normal wolf outside of the full moon, but then the full moon comes around he turns into a bi-pedal monster.

Abiteth is the reverse, she is stuck in her werewolf form, but turns back into a human one day before the full moon, and then turns back into a werewolf one day after the full moon.

ANYWAY I'M JUST WONDERING.... SHOULD I MAKE THE BI-PEDAL SHAPESHIFTING FOR DABI AT WILL INSTEAD OF HIM HAVING A NORMAL WOLF FORM TOO??? (If it's at will, then it's only during a full moon that he shifts outside of his control and therefore is not in control of his actions, submitting purely to instinct instead).

Aladdin and Tangled

These days I have been watching nothing but Aladdin and Tangled, my two all time favourite Disney series/franchises, the best of which Disney has ever created and they have forever remained a special place in my heart. Anyway, I thought I try and point out the similarity/differences they share together just for the fun.

Aladdin and Flynn/Eugene are both thieves who fell in love with a Disney Princess: Jasmine and Rapunzel. When they first met the girls, neither knew at the time they were the Princesses of their Kingdoms. Aladdin found out soon at the start of the movie while Eugene found out off-screen at the end.

Aladdin and Eugene met their long lost fathers later in the franchise. Aladdin met his father, Cassim in the final movie, The King of Thieves while Eugene met his father, King Edmund in the second season finale of the TV series. Both their mothers are also deceased with Aladdin's mother dying in his childhood while Eugene's mother died in his infancy.

Aladdin and Eugene were originally the only 2 Disney Princes who became royalty through marriage until it was later discovered Eugene is the long-lost Prince of the Dark Kingdom in the TV series. This revelation leaves Aladdin as the only Disney Prince to become royalty through marriage while Eugene is royalty by both birth and marriage.

Rapunzel and Jasmine long for freedom. They were both trapped in the confides of their homes and longed to see the outside world until they eventually decided to sneak out, changing both their lives forever.

Aladdin and Eugene had different relationships with their future in-laws. Aladdin and the Sultan got along right from the start and remained on good terms throughout the franchise while Eugene was intimidated by King Frederic until they gradually built a relationship over the course of the show.

Aladdin and Eugene had a rivalry with the Royal Guards, specifically Razoul and the Captain in their movies, but gradually improve during the TV shows.

Jasmine was originally the Disney Princess who had the longest hair until Rapunzel was introduced.

Jafar and Mother Gothel, the main antagonists are killed at different times. Jafar dies in the sequel movie, The Return of Jafar while Gothel dies at the end of Tangled.

Aladdin and Tangled each had 3 movies and a TV show.

Agrabah and Corona are each one of the Seven Kingdoms and Deserts in their franchises.

Both franchises have a movie that focused on the weddings between the main Disney couples, but with the difference being Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding was a short film while Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding was a full length movie that also served as the finale to the franchise.

Aladdin and Tangled's timeline within their TV series each took place over the course of 3 years.

TV Series

Aladdin and Tangled's series each ran for 3 seasons, but with a few differences...

Aladdin had the most episodes and a crossover with Hercules.

Tangled included musical songs and sequences while Aladdin did not.

Rapunzel and Eugene are dating and attempt to get engaged at various points while Aladdin and Jasmine are officially engaged, but are waiting until they are ready to get married.

Aladdin continues living in his hovel until his marriage to Jasmine while Eugene lives alongside Rapunzel in Corona Castle.

Tangled made several hour long specials while Aladdin only ever did a single two-part special episode.

Both Rapunzel and Jasmine had an episode where they suffered from amnesia, but with MAJOR differences; Jasmine believed she was the daughter of Abis Mal while Rapunzel experienced life outside the tower again. The main themes of their respective episodes focused on Jasmine's romance with Aladdin and Rapunzel's friendship with Cassandra.

Both had a time travel episode; Aladdin's group traveled back to the founding of Agrabah while Rapunzel traveled back to Eugene and Lance's teenage years.

Episodes

Both had a beach episode, involving a mermaid and romance. (For more info, I made a separate post)

Rapunzel and Jasmine crashed a wedding to stop Aladdin and Eugene from marrying their love rivals.

Both Rapunzel and Jasmine were forced to work together with their love rivals; Sadira and Stalyan and the end result; the girls reformed and gave up their romantic pursuit of Aladdin and Eugene.

Aladdin and Rapunzel's groups fell under the affects of a device/potion that made them the opposite of their personalities.

Eugene and Aladdin went on an adventure with their future fathers-in-law.

Both had an episode revealing how Rapunzel and Aladdin first met their animal sidekicks/best friends, Pascal and Abu.

[Abi] Yeah, you look amazing in the form-fitting dress but I agree that it may not be the right choice for the ceremony dress.

[Mara] I have a ball gown option without lace that we can try.

Alex nods her head and follows Mara back into the changing room and comes out several minutes later in a short-sleeved ball gown.

[Alex] I actually really like this one, with the exception of the fold-over on the top. *turns to look at Mara*  can we get rid of that part but maybe add a little bit of detail to the sleeves?

[Mara] We can absolutely add maybe some pleating to the sleeves.

[Alex] I love that idea. Can you draw up a rough design for me?

[Mara] Of course My Lady. Let me help you out of the dress and I can do a quick mock-up and send a more completed version to the palace in a couple of days and we can go from there.

Alex nods her head in agreement and steps off the dias to change back into her clothes. Mara steps away and quickly draws up a very rough sketch before bringing it back to Alex. Alex smiles before showing the sketch to her mother, sister, and best friend.

[Alex] Well what do you think of it?

[Arabella] I love it!

[Kathleen] Me too!

[Abi] so do I!

[Alex] Alright then it’s settled. I’ll be anxiously waiting for the first sketch of the dress. Now I do believe it is Abi’s turn to try on dresses.

[Mara] Of course My Lady, I will have the first sketch to the Palace by the end of the week and we can set up an appointment to make any changes you’d like to it. Now Your Royal Highness if you will follow me I have several dresses picked out for you to try. I also have several dresses for Lady Alexandra to look at for the flower girls.

I have been asked to make a list of characters who appear in my fics, both book canon and ocs, so... I apologize for how long this is going to be. (The only characters excluded on this list are those who appear in the movies).

I had a thought..... Triple Threat AU again..................... (this might actually end up being canon to Abiteth x Dante's story but without the twins LOL I kind of like this idea a lot)

Mini reminder that the Triple Threat AU is Abiteth dating Dante, Dabi, and Touya 😂😂😂 my girl can get it leave her alone--

Anyway.... I was watching a clip from Say Yes To the Dress and it made me think about how the Twins would def ask Abiteth to marry them before Dante asked (DanTeth is a slow burn leave mE ALONE - also TL;DR the Twins DID ask Dante if it was alright with him first, and he gave his blessing, so that's how we get to this point).

And bless the hearts of Abiteth's friends, but a good chunk of them do have very "traditional" ideas of wedding dresses.... so they would be pressuring Abiteth toward a more traditional wedding dress, like a white dress or smth and my girl.... is so unhappy with it but she decides to humor her friends even though a white dress wouldn't really fit the theme of her ceremony to Touya, OR to Dabi.

And she's in like tears almost coming out in this typical princess wedding dress but when she walks out everyone who came with her is gone and Dante is sitting there, but with his back to her BECAUSE AT LEAST ONE OF ABI'S FRIEND'S WAS LIKE, trying to support her and w/e but the minor voice against the majority so she called in the big guns IE: DANTE.

And he explains his presence like "I ain't gon' turn around, promised th' boys I wouldn' look either. Got a hail Mary from one'a your girls. Shooed everyone out." Of course Abi is like "oh... okay" in a tiny voice and Dante's LIVID IMMEDIATELY, but he keeps his cool for his baby and is like, "do you like it? The color? The shape? The style?" and she's answering every question with a no and he tilts his head toward one of the staff and is like "she needs black. My baby's a Raven, I wanna hear her smile. She likes sparkle too. Mermaid's best, bu' don' lemme see it. If I hear her smile, it's the one."

Needless to say after this Abiteth gets two very beautiful black dresses to wear to her wedding and anyone who tries to argue with her about it gets a stern glare from Dante.

What book are you currently reading?

The Writing Revolution...I can't in good conscience recommend it unless you also happen to find yourself as a teacher trying to capture teenagers' imaginations and get them to produce complete sentences! Hahahaha. Miserable toil.

What’s your favourite movie you saw in theatres this year?

Ooh, this one's easy--The Little Mermaid!! I have seen it with my family twice and then with my friends once. (I felt a little freer to lust after Prince Eric when my husband and two children weren't sitting there with me...)

What do you usually wear?

These days, some form of athleisure. During the school year, I've been told my teacher style is "Jessica Day if she didn't care so much" and...that about sums it up.

Did you grow up to become what you wanted to be when you were a child?

Absolutely not. I wanted to be a lawyer my entire life. My undergrad was pre-law and then life had other plans for me and now I'm teaching 8th grade American History. And LOVING IT. I start grad school in the fall and I'll be getting my Principal's Certification with that, so I suppose I'm in this education world for the long haul.

Are you in a relationship? If not, who is your crush if you have one?

I am tragically married. Sorry to all interested parties!

What’s something you’re good at vs. something you’re bad at?

I'm fairly good with piano and singing. I'm terrible at cooking.

Oh my. I haven't written as much as I'd like to this year (although I'm hoping to post something before the weekend!!) so I'm choosing to interpret this as the last 12 months. Maybe this bit from walking by her side, talking by her side, have pity?

Ur mom. Okay...sorry. Ahem. I've been sewing more lately. I used ot dabble in high school, but I'm finding more motivation to make things for my toddler than I did to make things for myself.

What’s something you were excited about that turned out to be disappointing this year?

The weather recently! It was supposed to rain the past couple weeks and we've not gotten much more than a few minutes of sprinkling. I looooove rainy days, so that's bummed me out quite a bit.

What’s a hidden talent of yours?

I'm excellent at whistling. It's completely useless, but I'll get compared to a Disney princess occasionally, so I guess that's something.

Are you religious?

Yes. My faith is very important to me, but it's *my* faith, so I don't feel the need to bring it up with strangers unless asked about it. (Crazy concept, right?)

With the arrival of summer, coffee shops were promoting fruity, iced drinks, tempting Aby everyday with their pretty colors and sweet look. They tended to be pretty expensive however, so she couldn’t make a daily habit out of buying them… But today she had just finished a job with a bonus, so the mermaid could allow herself a little extra !

Going to her favorite coffee shop near the beach, Aby was nearly bouncing a little in excitement as she waited in line for her turn. She asked for a kind of coconut, strawberry iced coffee, gave her name and waited for it to be called to retrieve it - nothing out of the ordinary, that far.

She started walking towards the terrasse to get a seat, when she realized she forgot to take a stirrer (And Aby loved stirring her drink while watching the sea). In a heartbeat, she turned on the spot in one smooth motion… Not thinking about the fact that maybe someone was behind her and not expecting her movement.

And there was.

Aby collided with the girl drink first, the iced coffee emptying itself of more than half of its content on the poor victim of the mermaid’s distraction.

“Oh nooo…” Her eyes got teary at the sight of the spilled drink, and it was hard to say if she was sad about the waste or sorry about the mess (But probably mainly the first one).

Hit by the thought she just spoiled someone’s day though, she bit her lip, guilty. “I-I’m sorry. It’s my fault…”

Honestly speaking, it’s so many extra characters to add in the Descendants verse.

I tend to look at the antagonist from the television shows, games, and abandoned characters. Alongside minor characters if I need a character on the “good” side.

Here are just a few scrapped characters:

Marguerite is a character who was deleted from the final version of Beauty and the Beast, and would have acted as the co-antagonist alongside Gaston. 

Belle's Sisters were two characters who were deleted from the 1991 film Beauty and the Beast, and would have acted as co-antagonist with Belle's Suitors. 

Belle's Suitors were three characters who were deleted from the 1988 screenplay of Beauty and the Beast, and would have had an antagonistic role, along with Belle's Sisters.

In one early concept of Aladdin, there was going to be a Genie in the Ring that would team up with Jafar.

Professor Lefoof was supposed to be Anastasia and Drizella's music teacher, until it was decided that it would simply be Lady Tremaine, who led her daughters' singing lesson.

Arawn was the original main antagonist for the film The Black Cauldron. However, he was replaced by the Horned King.

Elvira was a deleted character from The Aristocats. She was Madame Bonfamillie's maid who assisted Edgar in his scheme to get rid of the cats.

Mick, Bowie, and Lemmy were three mummies Who assisted Yzma and were considered the tertiary antagonists in Kingdom of the Sun, the working title of The Emperor's New Groove. Their names were taken from those of three famous rock stars: Mick Jagger, David Bowie, and Lemmy Kilmister. They were replaced with Kronk.

The Vulture is a character that was originally created for Sleeping Beauty but was deleted during the film's production. Originally, Maleficent was going to have a pet vulture, which was meant to serve as comic relief (very similar to Iago) and had a New York accent. However, because his role did not contribute much to the story and also somewhat detracted from that imposing nature of Maleficent, he was cut from the final version of the film. Despite this, there was dialogue written for the vulture and some rough sketches for the character.

Zoltan the Magnificent is a deleted character in Atlantis: The Lost Empire who was recruited aboard the Ulysses as a medium claiming to be able to communicate telepathically with the Atlanteans. He was intended as a counterpart to Milo and other more scientifically-minded members of the crew; however, he was cut from the final version of the movie.

The Hunter is a character who was cut in the final from Disney's 1985 film The Black Cauldron.

These are a few antagonists from the shows:

Kileem is an antagonist in the Aladdin TV series. He was once a feared warrior who wore a suit of invincible armor. Many tried to defeat him but all failed. When Kileem finally passed away, his spirit possessed the armor. He appeared in the episode "Armored and Dangerous".

Mozenrath is a recurring antagonist in the Disney 1994-1995 Aladdin animated television series. He is a young sorcerer and necromancer who rules over the Land of the Black Sand.

Saleen is a minor recurring antagonist from the Disney animated television series, Aladdin. She is an evil mermaid sorceress with powerful aquatic abilities who attempts to steal Aladdin away from Jasmine; tbh, I headcanon her as Jay’s mom.

Abis Mal is one of the main antagonists in the Aladdin television series, first seen as the secondary antagonist in the direct-to-video film The Return of Jafar.

Ajed Al-Gebraic is Genie's old master, who is very greedy. He used up all his three wishes and sold Genie to a Sorcerer for eternal life, but not eternal youth. He appears in the episode "Genie Hunt".

Arbutus is a minor character from the Disney animated series Aladdin. He is a sorcerer and an entity of nature who thinks of himself as an artist.

 Lobster Mobster and Da Shrimp are recurring antagonists from The Little Mermaid television series. They are bumbling con-artists, who constantly antagonize Ariel and her friends

The Evil Manta, or just Manta, is a major antagonist who appears in Disney's TV series The Little Mermaid. Although it is unknown how old he is, he is believed to be ageless. He has the form of a giant black and purple manta ray, giving a foul presence wherever he dwells. He has a son named Little Evil; tbh, I headcanon him as Uma’s dad.

Ebb and Flo are two alligators and antagonists from the former Disney Channel series The Little Mermaid. They only appear in the episode "Beached".

Emperor Sharga is a character and villain from The Little Mermaid television series. Sharga is the emperor of Sharkania and the leader of the Sharkanians, a race of aquatic creatures that are related to sharks, just as merpeople are related to fish. He is cunning and tricky, and wants to take over Atlantica.

Daniel was Dr. Vile's apprentice; despite not liking it, nevertheless, had no choice because he needed the money for his poor family, in The Little Mermaid television series.

Dr. Vile is an antagonist in Disney's The Little Mermaid series. He appeared in the episode "Island of Fear". He is the former employer of Daniel who loves experimenting on crabs and turning them into crab mutant monsters.

Moray is a recurring character from The Little Mermaid television series. He is a moray eel who is dedicated to defrauding the people of Atlantica. He often tries to get Ariel into trouble.

Little Evil is a minor character in the television series The Little Mermaid. He is the son of Manta, who is a recurring villain in the series.

 The Sorceress (or The Lady in the Cave) is a minor antagonist who appears in the television series The Little Mermaid.

 Octopans (pronounced: "oc-to-puns") are a hostile species of aquatic humanoids, prevalent in The Little Mermaid franchise. They look to be a combination of cephalopods and human beings. Ursula was their leader.

King Trevor is a minor antagonist in Tangled: The Series. He is the ruler of the kingdom of Equis and King Frederic's longtime rival.

Andrew (real name Hubert) is a minor antagonist who appears in Tangled: The Series. He is a mysterious visitor from out of town who forms a relationship with Cassandra in hopes of using her to steal an ancient journal.

The Separatists of Saporia is a centuries-old organization dedicated to destroying the kingdom of Corona. Their members hail from what was once Corona's rival kingdom, Saporia.

Ruthless Ruth is a ghost, who appears in the episode "The Wrath of Ruthless Ruth" of Tangled: The Series. She was the original owner of The Snuggly Duckling who had a barbaric reputation, but also has a secret talent for writing and singing songs.

Anthony the Weasel is an antagonist in Tangled: The Series. Weasel works for The Baron as his assistant, until he took his Kai spider ring and his minions.

The Baron is an antagonist in Tangled: The Series. He is a notorious kingpin that has a history with Flynn Rider and Lance Strongbow.

Sugracha the Eternal (also known by her alias Mrs. Sugarby) is a servant of Zhan Tiri and former pupil of Lord Demanitus who gathering her candidates to gain people's trust.

Stalyan is an antagonist, later a minor character in Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. She is Eugene's ex-fiancée and the Baron's daughter.

Mother and Father are antagonists in Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. They are an enigmatic couple who dwell in a cottage in the woods.

Lady Caine is the main antagonist of Tangled: Before Ever After and a recurring antagonist in Tangled: The Series. She is the leader of a pirate gang.

Hector is an antagonist in Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, who first appears in the special "Rapunzel and the Great Tree". He is a villainous warrior and the most dangerous and sadistic member of the Brotherhood, sworn to keep all away from The Dark Kingdom.

Tromus (also known by his alias Matthews) is a servant of Zhan Tiri and former pupil of Lord Demanitus who trapped Rapunzel and her friends in The House of Yesterday's Tomorrow.

Brock Thunderstrike is a character in Tangled: The Series. He impersonates Eugene Fitzherbert as his former alias Flynn Rider.

Pocket is a minor antagonist in Tangled: The Series. He serves as the assistant of Lady Caine.

A Few Characters from the Games:

Nasira is the main antagonist of Nasira's Revenge. She is Jafar's fraternal twin sister.

Bizarrah is an evil genie and the main antagonist of Disney's MathQuest With Aladdin.

Characters from Prequels and sequels:

Marina Del Rey is the main antagonist of Disney's 2008 animated prequel film The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning. She is the governess of Ariel and her sisters, but strives to gain Sebastian's job by any means necessary.

Benjamin is Marina Del Rey's right hand manatee and a supporting character from The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning.

Fife is the secondary antagonist (later a supporting protagonist) from Disney's 1997 animated film Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, a midquel to the 1991 animated film Beauty and the Beast. He is one of the Beast's servants who was turned into a piccolo by the Enchantress' curse.

Maestro Forte is the main antagonist of Disney's 1997 direct-to-video sequel film Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas. He was the castle's former music conductor. When the Enchantress put the spell on the Beast, Forte was turned into a pipe organ. In this form, Forte found himself more useful to his master as a composer and was willing to do everything in his power to stay in that form.

Pom-Pom is a minor antagonist in Disney's 2002 direct-to-video film, Cinderella II: Dreams Come True. She is a white female cat who lives in the King's Castle, with him as her owner. She is a minor character in Disney's 2007 animated film, Cinderella III: A Twist in Time.

Prince Jeeki is the former secondary antagonist of Mulan II. He is Lord Qin's eldest son.

Lord Qin is the former main antagonist of Mulan II.

Edgar Volgud is an antagonist in Atlantis: Milo's Return. He is allied with the Krakken, being somehow able to control the creature.

Ashtin Carnaby (otherwise known as Carnaby) is the secondary antagonist in Atlantis: Milo's Return, acting as the main antagonist in the film's second segment. Described by Sam McKeane as "slipperier than a spotted toad in a rainstorm."

Erik "Odin" Hellstrom is the main antagonist in the third and final adventure in Atlantis: Milo's Return.

Matangi is a main antagonist in the Disney's upcoming 2024 animated feature film Moana 2. She is described as a mysterious new character.

Live Action Characters:

Gerda is the secondary antagonist of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, serving as Queen Ingrith's stewardess and engineer.

Lickspittle is a character who appears in the 2019 Disney live-action film, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Serving under the tyranny of Queen Ingrith, Lickspittle works in his lab as a scientist using Tomb Bloom flowers, using it to mix with iron powder. In his lab is a collection of fairies trapped inside jars so that whenever he mixes a Tomb Bloom's pollen with iron powder, it creates crimson powder, eradicating every type of fairy (including Dark Fey) instantly.

I dunno if anyone's done this before but you know that event with Elliot where he's going out to sea, checking off things like quill and paper (if I remember correctly). Then suddenly the image of Eric and Ariel (Little Mermaid) in the boat scene pops up in my head, with the animal choir singing Kiss The Girl 😭😭 I just thought it'd be cute if Elliot was Eric, Ariel the farmer and then the animal choir was Seb, Abi and Sam (OR IN FACT THE WHOLE VILLAGE BECAUSE THEY JUST WANT THEIR PINING TO BE OVER AND JUST DATE ALREADY 😭😭😭)

I have to be honest with you, dear anon... I don't like this cartoon at all. BUT! The moment is really romantic, you're right about that.

That event... I think you probably meant Elliott 5 ❤️ event (it's from Stardew valley expanded mod), where Elliott was checking supplies and thinking about offering the Farmer a boat ride together in the future (a reference to his 10 ❤️ event).

Everyone in Pelican Town knows how close the Farmer and Elliott are, but both of them felt that the other was not interested in romantic feelings, and this kept everyone intrigued.

Gossip is certainly interesting, but they really wish you the best. And Abigail was the first to not stand all this, because the Farmer is her best friend, they themselves admitted to her that they were thinking of asking Elliott on a date, but they were afraid of rejection and uuhhdkdlslrrfjdrfos!

I imagine Elliott invited the Farmer for a boat ride, exactly like in the 10 ❤️ event, but this time they sailed close to the shore (enough for people to swim nearby). Elliott was about to confess his feelings to the Farmer, but he couldn't find the words. And just then Sam, Abigail and Sebastian were swimming nearby. Abby is fed up with the fact that the Farmer and Elliott obviously have tender feelings for each other, but can't admit it. So she persuaded Sam and Sebby to swim underwater to the boat, and quietly, sticking their heads to the surface, start singing Kiss the Girl. Both Farmer and Elliott nearly fell off the boat in surprise, but quickly calmed down when they saw the trio. The Farmer started laughing and blushing, believing that Elliott orchestrated the whole thing and that it was so romantic and unique. But Elliott himself did not understand what was happening until Abby poked him in the side, like "we are just background music, confess your love, c'mon the whole town is already waiting you two oblivious dorks!"

Naturally, it all ended with Farmer and Elliott kissing, and a whistle from Abby and Sam. Sebastian wanted to joke that they were paid for it all, until Abby covered his mouth with her hand.

Well, at least all the residents of Pelican Town will breathe a sigh of relief. Finally they're official! Thanks, Abby 👍
