This Disney Villains crossover collage is of Ursula and Captain Hook, as part of my crossover collage series of Disney Villains, to mark the countdown to Halloween. The time of year when Disney gives their villains control of the rains.

I love the way they are allies in a few known Disney crossover media franchises, like Kingdom Hearts, as well as them having a history in the Once Upon A Time series. While Descendants has their children as friends, long before the Rise of Red had teenage Hook be friends with Ursula's baby sister at Merlin Academy.

Joshua and the Ironheart Fairy

My self-insert crossover parody retelling/reimagining of The Princess and the Frog (2009), starring ME -- Joshua Sumter and the Ironheart Fairy!

Short summary/premise: An autistic young boy learns a lesson in love when a fateful kiss with a fairy sends him on a mystical yet familiar modern twist adventure, setting off a hilarious chain of events.

Synopsis: Think you know the story of Disney's 'The Princess and the Frog'? Well, think again! Imagine a crossover parody alternate universe retelling of the original 2009 animated classic where an autistic young boy, who once had it all and lived an awesome single life, learns a lesson in love when he meets a fairy, and a fateful kiss sets off a hilarious chain of events that turns things upside down for him.

Set in an alternate universe that reimagines and retells Disney's The Princess and the Frog, young and autistic Joshua Sumter (Me) thinks he's in the groove and on top of the world as he started out his own single life. His hopeless romantic friend Lewis (Meet the Robinsons) read about true love and was hoping Joshua would find his. But he has everything he needed for living his best, yet awesome single life and romance would be the last thing on his mind for now as he makes his own moves, doing his own things, hanging out with friends, all that jazz.

Then, one day, as things seem to be turning around, a weird twist of fate happens when Nadia Van Dyne (Wasp), the relative of the great Hank Pym, comes to town, prompting Lewis to throw a huge, epic party for her. During the party, Joshua slipped away to be alone for a while when suddenly, two shrunk girls appeared, introducing themselves as the REAL Nadia Van Dyne and her friend, the super-smart Riri Williams (Ironheart), who are in quite of a pickle and begged Joshua for help...

On the very day Nadia was to meet Lewis, she and Riri (with Ms. Grunion (Mr. Peabody & Sherman) in tow) came to town in search of fun and adventure until their arrival caught the attention of witty voodoo slick talker Frederique "Freddie" Facilier (Descendants: Wicked World), who puts her scheme of voodoo madness into action by luring the two girls and Ms. Grunion into her voodoo lair, where she turned Riri into a fairy (Iridessa from Disney Fairies) and trapped her and Nadia in a jar while magically changing Ms. Grunion into looking like the spitting image of Nadia. Then, Freddie will sit back and watch the chaos ensues...all part of a plan to take down Lewis's family and steal the family fortune. But Freddie's plan was spoiled when Nadia and Riri (still in fairy form) escaped and met up with Joshua, forming an unlikely alliance and a strange allegiance that'll undercut her plans.

Soon, a fateful kiss with a fairy has change everything in Joshua's life, making him a victim of circumstance and turning it into a familiar modern twist. Not only that, but Riri's and Nadia’s chance to get back home and outwit Freddie Facilier's plans rest on his shoulders.

Lost, alone, far away from home, and having a hard time cooperating, Joshua is convinced by Nadia to help them while being forced to bond with Riri. Now finding a way home will be the groovy adventure than they ever imagined as they must overcome their differences to deal with hair-raising dangers, crazy and wild comic predicaments, and even each other until they learn some valuable life lessons, including the meaning of trust and true love while seeking the magnificent Merlin (The Sword in the Stone) to undo the spell. While having difficulties and obstacles in their lives, they are being by joined by Kamala Khan, Doreen Green with Tippy Toe the Squirrel, Flik, and Jiminy Cricket...and an unlikely, budding romance was bloomed between Joshua and Riri along the way.

But Freddie Facilier had plans of her own as she's in hot pursuit on their trail to further her purposes with the help of a few demonic beings in the form of an angry army of shadows and the epic powers that are beyond manipulation of both magic and mind.

Ultimately, Joshua and Riri's love for each other made them realize that they must get through the toughest of times...all part of growing up, putting things right, and learning the true meaning of their bond.

Fixation Central

Anyone who follows my blog knows I am auDHD and I fixate extremely fast. I am constantly frothing at the mouth with how much I adore certain fandoms. Most of what I'm into right now is superhero cartoons, but my journey with two of my first ever fandoms: Scooby Doo and Harry Potter.

I've 'left' Harry Potter, but that's because I made my own canon lmao. Or attempted to, at least-

It has long since branched off and my honorary fixations include Gravity Falls, Warrior Cats, PJO, and Doctor Who. And yes, I did also have problematic fixations - let yourself be cringe; if you want to enjoy DSMP, Homestuck, ATLA, or anything in between - do it. I was only part of one of these though. All fandoms have their toxicity, and in the end... make your own fucking canon. Problem solved.

Though, now... it's time to talk about what I like now and the ones I never truly left so without much further ado - let's get on with it!

The Fixations That Just Stayed

Gravity Falls (joined the fandom late, ended up being the creator of multiple original AU's and adored the Pines family dynamics; would've wanted to see something actually used with the Cipher/Zodiac Wheel)

Warrior Cats (never finished the books, unapologetic Firestar fan - first fandom I ever roleplayed and had an OC named Dawnheart of all things)

Thank you for such an in depth response, I feel honored by it and that I was able to inspire you about the concepts and I agree. I had similar thoughts about the theming of Sora’s name and him being the void of space. Even had musings of how in primordial myths the heavens (sky) and the earth are considered the couple that brings about the first forms existence. Gaia and Ouranos and on the Egyptian mythos there was a love story of Geb (earth) and Nut (sky) although interesting enough geb and nut are kept separated by Ra (the sun).

But regardless, I’d say nomura is quite interesting and impressive to consistently yet subtly equate riku to that of deity so easily. Yes, I believe in riku being a dia in some sort. Probably kingdom hearts sending out an avatar to grow, or the king to kh reincarnated, or some other thing I can’t quite grasp right now but overall with the ending of the series hopefully not too much farther in our lifespan. This is why I enjoy reading and interacting with metas and theories especially about sora and riku and soriku because I said in a comment in a YouTube video that discussed the sleeping real theory and I said it feels like we have the right answers but just not forced into the right shape (a key perhaps 🫣) to unlock the final gate.

Riku has always had all those "subtle" visual shorthands used to denote super special celestia mystery powers (etc) but, like the Subtly OP antics of the Disneytowners (e.g. Donald casually casting the Boss-level spell 'Flare', Goofy tanking hits from Literal Deities with 1 shield & no apparent magic of his own), Riku looking "anime" gets brushed off as "standard JRPG aesthetic".

Naturally silver-haired youths in anime tend to be Plot-Relevant, typically having ☆Super Special Bloodlines☆, typically being Secret Royalty &/or related to Angels or Spirits.

(and it WAS suspiciously easy for Riku to just... BECOME Sora's Dream Eater, especially given what we know of the Chirithy spirits, their abilities to act as psychopomps, & whatever the Dream Eater crafting system in DDD may imply about Dream Eaters as a whole)

From what I can recall, the only naturally silver-haired characters original to KH are:

Xehanort (confirmed descendant of Ephemer)

Ienzo (taken in by the Always Sus Ansem the Wise, origins unknown)

From the Final Fantasy side of the crossovers, we have Setzer (who only appears in the DATA Daybreak Town, not the "real" one) and... Sephiroth.

For being such an "anime" JRPG, Kingdom Hearts is pretty sparing in its use of Anime Hair Colours. Aqua & Isa's blue hair aside, the colour palette is fairly "natural": pale blonds & yellows, oranges & pinks amongst the reds, browns & blacks. There aren't many characters old enough to have "grey" hair but the ones that do are ALSO fairly mysterious: Merlin, Fairy Godmother, Master Yen Sid, Zeus... So, yeah, even Riku's "anime boy" aesthetic is itself pretty Telling of Riku being Plot-Relevant. He's canonically part-spirit, after DDD, but his ability to do that at all IS unprecedented (just like his ability to Balance Light & Darkness within himself, like his Light being equated with the Sun, like his easy grasp on using Darkness...). Whatever the KH-universe equivalent of an "angel" may be, Ephemer & Riku seem closest to it. That Riku met JOSHUA (himself a kind of Gay Angel) in DDD does not seem at all a coincidence.

oh! there's also that whole [terra] sigil thing! Riku's costume/keyblade designs imcorporate it (i forget how) & THAT sigil is probably the in-universe namesake for Terra, the character. Rather than [earth] or [land], the [terra] sigil seems older & is likely referencing an "[original/first] earth" or mean "[land of origin]".

It makes me wonder whether Riku's parent/s were themselves Aware of Other Worlds? If he's a relative of Xehanort, it's plausible that Xehanort's Skuld-resembling mother learned about Xehanort's ending up at the Destiny Islands & their family possibly moving to the World in hopes of a reunion. Which... would mean they weren't just AWARE of Other Worlds but ALSO capable of traveling between them. This is probably going to Come Up in Missing Link.

I was listening to Family Line by Conan Gray and I ended up writing my descendants 1 rewrite staring the Badun Detective Agency au 'I was a kid but I wasn't clueless'.

But I was also inspired by a stranger things fic that had both Steve and Robin being numbers and thought 'Wait. I wanna write something like that.'

Which led me to write a stranger things (show) and stranger things: SIX (comic) fusion fic where Tommy Hagan, Steve Harrington, Carol Perkins, and Robin Buckley were all secretly numbers.

The fic is called 'Look Closely, You will see! There's four of us (Just Four of us)'.

I love writing about the 13 main descendants kids being friends and interacting in Disney Descendants.

I love writing Mad Hook (Killian Jones and Jefferson) from ouat as friends and as a couple.

In ouat and descendants crossovers I love writing Killian Jones and Harry Hook as father and son.

And I love writing Gwaine (from Merlin) being friends with anyone. Ngl.

And so on.

7) Do you write crossovers?

Very rarely. Most recently I did do a cross-over between YGO and Seanan McGuire's Middlegame. My most popular however is an old one between RotG and Frozen, where I explore the idea that Jamie Bennet is a descendent of Elsa - with Jack in the middle of that family tree.

15) What are your writing strengths?

Idk? Someone recently described my writing as tight, so let's go with that. Using limited words to evoke the right emotions and descriptions.

16) What fandom/ship have you not written but want to?

There's a few ship dynamics I'd love to explore. Merthur from BBC Merlin (weirdly enough I've only written Arthur and Merlin in a relationship with Gwen, not with each other, or have them in a weird, pre-ship situation). Some angsty version of rivalshipping where Kaiba and Yugi are still both very much pining for Atem. I've really only written straight Puzzleshipping. And sometimes I noodle on just a concept for a Batpham, DC x DP fic. I don't really do a lot of batman stuff, but I enjoy the crossovers with Danny Phantom and I have this weird thought in my head of Amity turning into Gotham, and that all the Bats look like Fentons because Gotham just loves Danny so much.

So I would love a good Harry Potter Campione crossover fic, ecspecially if your able to intragrate campiones having influences on the wizarding world and its history well. The one that came to my mind is that the deathly hallows are immitations of a campiones authority. Perhaps Thanatos authority. And the peverell brother could be said campiones sons. Which would help build the legends of the hallows in the first place if people orignially thought they were the products of the Authority The Master Of Death.

Perhaps the founders were all Campione before the last time the king of the end did his wipe of Campione or Merlin became one (or he is now a heritic god that descends) or Lily prayed to a divine being (Hera or Tiamat) for the protection of her son and used her own life as a tribute to the goddesses. Which would also have them take an intrest in him.

Having Harry also take a more active role as a Campione would also be a great addition, most crossover have him trying to be like "I just want to be normal, I won't use my influence to try to change anything." The entire magical community is so corrupt that having a tyrant come in and fix up there systems would be a godsend at that point.

Having realistic reactions would also be appretiated Draco Malfoy wouldn't go antaganizing a figure that all his life he should avoid at all costs and if he does have to agree with whatever they say. And have a large chunk of Voldemorts followers jump ship, after all they don't want yo fight a fudging Campione, and they would want to be an influence on them, so have the likes of Lucius Malfoy try to worm his way into being an adviser would be interesting to see.

The likes of Voldemort should also be delegated to a minor annoyance, or the trigger to Harry going on a bloody rampage that reaffirms the fear and caution of a person considered a walking natural disaster.

Considering the events of the books take place in the 90s this should be 10-20 years before the anime so godou has just been born

I want to see how a relativly young, but mature and goodhearted Campione Potter would influence the wider world but mainly how he tries to bring Britian with him on his rise to glory, a harry potter fighting tooth and nail with the entire isle to drag them out of the past and into the future of magical research and discovery.

Some other minor thing would be the main antagonists would be Voban because Voban, heretical gods, the kings of the end, and if you decide to keep him in the story Alec.

The other thing is how he becomes a campio e and I am partial to 2 ways, one is killing a irratated Thanatos in the Chamber of Secrets because the damn potter brat escaped his grasp a second time. So he is here to take his soul in person only for Harry to somehow impale him on his own scyth before he dies of bloodloss.

Or in the Arena when a god of steel a dragonslayer decends to end these vile creatures only to meet his end at the hands of the youngest champion. Perhaps pulling a repeat of his chamber visit and sinking a dragon fang into the neck of the dragonslayer god.

Desmond dying gives us the easiest way to throw him anywhere we want thanks to how mysterious the Eye, the Calculations, the actual Global Aurora Borealis device, and all these other Isu bullshit work.

Throw him back to the past to meet the other AC protagonists? Now easier with the existence of the Reader.

Keep him alive in the modern day or throw him further forward (like Watch_Dog Legion timeline maybe?)? Yeah, just say the device didn't kill him but changed him somehow and there was a delay (temporary death), or use some other Isu bullshit to revive him.

Wanna make crossovers? Easy. Every other series you can think of can be part of the Calculations that the Isus didn't choose. Just to name a few:

Horizon Zero Dawn? Change Abstergo to Far Zenith and you're good to go (Faro being a Templar gone rogue is also optional)

Resident Evil? Abstergo's main line of business is pharmaceutical which is also Umbrella's main line (you can make the initial viruses based on some failed Isu research to survive the solar flare)

Prototype? The Zeus virus can be based on a failed Isu research that perhaps Tinia researched (OG Alex Mercer being a Templar optional)

BBC Merlin? Magic came from the humans who got experimented ala Aita and Juno in Atlantis who then passed it on to their descendants together with the Isu genes (also if you like the headcanon that eyes turn gold when they use Eagle Vision, this means Desmond gets to be treated as a sorcerer who has no idea what's happening)

Animal Crossing? Desmond wakes up in a world where evolution was different and he is being driven to a town by some animal-looking person who isn't weirded out that he's sitting on the back of his taxi and, for some reason, now in debt

Armored Core? The Templars decide that making bigass robots is a good idea for some reason and the whole 'humans had to go underground for a while' can either be because of the solar flare, some other Isu bs, or because humans are humans

Prince of Persia? The dagger of time is a POE and it's the one that pulled Desmond to this timeline

Dead Space? The Marker is a POE and the supposed civilization that got taken out by the necromorphs before could be the Isus who couldn't escape to Earth

In conclusion:

It is very easy to turn Desmond into an isekai protagonist.
