Hi, I'm back, I have two potential dragons for you to draw if you like

The first is Diamondback, a Sand/Rain hybrid. He was a part of a crime family when he was younger, but recently, he and his older half-brother faked their deaths and now live in a small town far out of the reaches of their parents influence.

The other is Venom. She's actually an Alter for another OC of mine, she ends up fronting when the body hasn't eaten or drunk anything being a Sandwing Alter she's perfect for the dealing with it.

Also, if you would like, I would love to draw any of your WoF OCs, if that's all cool.

Finally got to doing these guys. The color combos are very nice. I absolutely love the concepts for both of them.

Also, you are completely welcome to draw my OCs! Here's a couple of placeholder references I have for a few of them (As I haven't really gotten around to drawing my own refs for them):

First is Dust, my main OC. He's a Sandwing/Nightwing hybrid with a pretty complicated childhood. He now lives as a traveler, roaming between the kingdoms. He's a sassy little guy that finds joy in collecting unique insults. (Also, the thing around his neck is a leather hood of sorts. In this ref, it's just down)

Here's Zenith, another hybrid of mine (Nightwing/Skywing). She is an armorer in the Sky kingdom who makes custom armor for her brother (a sort of gladiator by the name of Mercury).

And here's Olive, a Rainwing and a comfort character of mine. She's an herbalist's apprentice who also runs a tea shop. She doesn't have much of a notable story, but only because she has a pretty normal life lol.

Some random wof hcs I have:

Of all dragon tribes, Leafwings are the one who can go the longest without eating as long as they have access to sunlight. 90% of the energy they need to live is from photosynthesis and that's how they survived in the poison jungle for so long

The main reason Skywings kill all of their dragons with "dangerous differences" isn't because those dragons are dangerous. It's actually because Skywing's society is built on competitiveness (see the sport tournament in the guide book), fairness, and equality in opportunities. Things like animus power or firescale are unfair advantages that must be eliminated, and dragons who have them are considered "cheaters" in the game of life

The smoke emitted by the volcano on the Nightwing Island contained a large amount of lead and mercury, and all Nightwings born on the island had lead and mercury poisoning. This explains why they had such a low birth rate (asides from the lack of food) and why they lost so much knowledge about their special powers. If smoke blocking out moonlight was the only problem they faced, Nightwing parents could have simply carried their eggs and flown above the smoke, and I suspected this was what they used to do when the volcano had just become active. Over many generations more Nightwings were exposed to lead/mercury, which made them suffer from memory problems and eventually forget how to obtain mindreading and foresight

Mudwings have a very strong sense of smell. A Mudwing can determine whether or not another Mudwing is their blood relative just by sniffing the air around them. And yes I made this hc because canonically there's no way to prevent inbreeding between parents and children in Mudwing society. I can't believe Tui never considered this when writing them

Both Moon and Secretkeeper have some form of anxiety disorder

Qibli definitely has god complex which stems from his insecurities and obsession with control. He also has trouble feeling empathy (thanks to Cobra) but knows how to hide it well by expressing sympathy instead

More of a speculation than a hc but Kinkajou is gonna turn evil in arc 4

Jerboa III is aro/ace

Whiteout's synesthesia works by linking her sense of sight, her mindreading and her foresight together. We all know she sees good people and visions in shades of blue. I hc that bad people and visions appear almost black and white to her. Future visions are always tinted in purple while past memories are tinted in brown. She also sees the emotions of other dragons as blotches of colors, but the colors change depending on the dragon

Also technically speaking her foresight is actually stronger than Darkstalker's. Not because she's born that way, but because Darkstalker is always so blinded by the visions he sees as good, he never bothered to spend time contemplating the bad ones and how to prevent them. Whiteout ultimately gets more out of her power despite being weaker and an optimist

I got the world for first one and magician for other.

My friend who is beginner said some things like i want a lot in husband but will get someone intellectual

This reminded me i have mercury Venus and Jupiter in 7th of my birth chart and mercury in 7th house of Navamsa and I heard from krs that 7th house of lagna is what you want in husband and 7th hous wof navansa is what you get

This just blowed my mind away! (Based on her interpretation) idk if that's right

Wait a min, I did remember him saying something like this and I guess it's quite true haha. I love how your tarot readings are synchronised with your birth chart. I always find some kind of synchronisation too between my birth chart and tarot readings. I hope everything goes as you planned✨ blessings ✨

your art is literally so scrumdiddlyumptious how do you pick your colors when you render?

i dont really know how to explain it but i will try ..

first, i start with the base colors! honestly color picking is something that comes naturally to me at this point so its rather difficult to describe, my advice is to just play around until you figure out what colors you like together haha

when i render, i start with lighting– for shadows, i choose a more saturated, darker, cooler version of my base color; for highlights, i choose a lighter, more saturated, warmer color.

after i block out the most extremes of the lighting, i blend it all out by using colors in between the lighting colors and the base color. (sometimes i do it the other way around; it just depends on how i feel)

this is how it looks after rendering! usually ill merge all the colored layers into one afterwards and play around with the colors using the ibis filters until im happy. then i just color the lineart and do some basic shading with overlays n such and im done!

for a more detailed piece, id obviously have more contrasted and less sloppy shading and stuff, but i just whipped up a quick 20 minute thing for this lol

I made ANOTHER wof oc - based on my bab Mercury bc I felt like Kite needed a friend! So here’s a half seawing, half nightwing (much to Frostberry’s disdain) for y’all :3

Mercury, much like Kite, doesn’t live a massively active life - but that’s okay. While Kite is very good at cooking, Mercury is an artist. He likes painting, though he’s not exactly the next dragon Picasso. His favourite pastime is chilling on the beach eating fish, as he’s a pretty good fisherman when he puts his mind to it.

Frostberry would most certainly terrify him because she doesn’t like Nightwings and he’s very obviously at least part nightwing, which is nightwing enough for her to distrust.
