I have an inanimate insanity AU called freedom fighters (I decided on the name woo!). A story about my oc, Mephone15, going to her beloved brother, Mephone4’s show to try and kill him, like all her other siblings. Long story short, she didn’t do so, lived with 4 and Mepad, witnessed the death of inanimate insanity and Mephone4 going back to meeple, got Mepad, and Bot to get the shimmer’s help, fixed 3GS, huge fight, cobs is dead, 4 and 15 reunion, and now Mepad, 3GS, 4, 15, and Bot are a family of silly rouge robots. This is interesting once I write the fic, I just posted the summary.

I know Canon Cobs doest gaf about mephone4 or whatever but he does in this au I guess. and cobs did try to kill mephone4.

In summary we picked them both for this because:

"pretty much the only reason we do that is for the father son relationship + mephone's insecurities abt not being good enough + mephone4 being drawn with daisuke's jacket" "+ axe thing"

I would've used him as curly because of his dynamic between Jimmy (jimmy is mephone4s) but we just decided to go with this instead

i figured if it could hatch somehow .would one of them still be him .also would that make him his own dad or sometjing

Imagine that the egg and Mephone happen to be two separate entities on their own. They're in the same body but they are their own individuals. Kinda of one of the aus idea I had HH I still need to design shit. I guess talking to a self proclaimed mephone4 expert, Mephone in that scenario at first would be rather too freaked out at the idea of this thing, was inside of him and now it's hatched. It's like "wtf do I do with this, I have no parental skills because my own father neglected and is a shitty dad."

However over time he'd gradually grown attached to it, kinda like a relationship he had with bot in S3. He would feel the need to protect it, to actually nurture it. This would also help with him letting his own guard down a bit. Just overall a kind of healing process in a way from all the bullshit. Though when the shimmers come to get back their child not only would it be awkward for Mephone because he's gotten quite attached to it, but also for the fact it would be hard for him to face the shimmers after all Meeple as a company has done.

To say that Mephone was devastated would be an understatement. Almost everyone acted wrong as they looked. And of course they looked it. They couldn't be the Right ones so they'd called themselves the Wrong ones.

The Wrong ones each chose ways to defy him, whether it be to view eachother as family and not romantically like Lightbulb and Paintbrush, to never speak to eachother if they could help it like Silver Spoon and Candle, to find new friends all together like Baseball and Salt, or to despise eachother to an unhealthy degree like Fan and Test Tube.

Each of their eyes pinned the grieving man as he passed. Not a one was happy for their existence. It struck him as ungrateful. But he swallowed it down. He didn't want to be seen like his father. So instead he spited them in petty ways. He was the script writer. They were petulant actors. "I'm sorry you don't like the food I made for you. Do you want me to try again?" And "Well I thought you didn't want green. I remembered you hating that!" Was it childish? Admittedly yes. Did he care? No.

Why didn't they care how much he gave them!? He made so much often times his headaches became even worse! Nobody cared he was in pain! That was petty of them too! They were horrible people who didn't even care and he just had to try and teach them better! That's what he had to do.

They'd give up eventually. He had a whole script.

Why did they drift further and further from it each passing day?

But not everything ends up with Mephone4 wanting control in the au. He wants them to live their own lives, but he has several issues glaring down his back.

Its agonizing to him that the people he want to live aren't even here! But false fakes.

It's pretty hard. Mephone4's story is different than what you said here but still have a large amount of grief, anger and denial.

You hit it down on the nail with how the "wrong ones" act though.

Clarifications about the II GKGG AU.

Due to recent events in OSC twt regarding this AU, I left the platform and stuff, but if you came from there to follow me here or something I would like to explain the main thing that caused a problem there.

I can't believe I have to explain this but alright.

The II GKGG au is a roleswap AU. HOWEVER, the story and dynamics CHANGE, the personalities and events do as well, EVERYTHING is different, it just doesn't stay like "events in canon", Burgy and I have some stuff of our own in the AU and I toyed around the dynamics and what is, or what is not different at all.

The thing is that the GKGG AU has a roleswap with Mephone4 and Cobs, Cobs taking Mephone4's place and viceversa.

The ones that are on day with the lore might already know this, but, Cobs's story is completely different from how it is on canon. He takes Mephone4's role, but he wasn't abusive towards him. In the GKGG au, Cobs realizes the error of his ways and wants to make up for them just as he understood why taking the eggs away from the Prime Shimmer was wrong, and completely changed after a lot of stuff that happened, but generally wanted to be a good father and tried. GKGG!Mephone4 is much more complex in his way of thinking and I would recommend reading this post for more information on the story, and check out the questions I answered about it as well.

But then, what's the main problem?

Someone said that the AU was a problem because "it swaps an victim with his abuser, AND the show was made to escape from Cobs"

First of all, as I already clarified (AND EVEN EXPLAINED IT THERE), this is AN SWAP AU. THE WHOLE HISTORY CHANGES. We aren't using the same history that Canon Mephone4 and Canon Cobs have.

Secondly, we aren't condoning Canon Cobs actions either, again. This is an alternative universe. An AU. Everything CHANGES, everything is DIFFERENT, we aren't denying that Cobs fucked up a lot, but listen, please UNDERSTAND that an AU is not always completely similar to the canon media. Yes. EVEN swap au's.

the twin💥💥💥💥 Mephone 5s and 5c (i will try to think of a new name for them.. Suggestion are appreciated)

5s and 5c act as those troublesome twins to the other siblings,usually shows up at the show as a little cameo. Acting like the biggest villain the contestants need to beat,making the challenges harder for the contestants or even just revolve around them. With them usually escaped right after they got defeated by the contestants and scream 'WE WILL DEFEAT YOU ONE DAY!! JUST WAIT AND SEE!! HAHA-' As they got blasted into the sun.. Or rather the me cloud building ig..

They purposely act like this in the shows as a way to help mephone4s boost up the view rating (and that they like to make 4s suffer by annoy tf outta him especially with the new most confusing slang they learned with the most miss used way to say that but we don't count that..)

But despite being an iconic twin that always shows up with each others at screen,they have quite an opposite way of fighting. With 5c usually just jumped right into whatever she's facing,having an incredible love for fighting and violence and being one of the lightest me phone from being made of mainly plastic. She loved using fast movement and sword techniques to confused the target and defeat her enemy without a second left to spare. Creating more risk for her to get scratched and cracked but ehh who cares about that am i right? Having scar all over your body looks badass either way.

5s in other hand would rather play a in a more safe way. Such as using a long ranged attack like gun as his main weapon and much prever to block his enemy attacks as he would think of a good way to unarmed their enemy

Damn, these images are big. Anyways, this is a new AU for Inanimate Insanity!

To recap from my DA: Some idiot (aka MePhone4) accidentally kills 16 contestants permanently killed. Literally no one has any idea how this happened at all, but it did. He reaches out to our world and gets 16 people like these dead contestants to replace them. Naturally, not everyone's going to be happy about these replacements.

Gumdrop replaces Marshmallow. She's.. not exactly known for being sweet. She's kind of a bitch in a sweet coating. In short, that means she won't get along with Apple at all. Not that it was going to happen ever, since Apple got just as mad as Marshmallow did when MePhone4 replaced Bow.

Switchblade replaces Knife. Their just in a phase, being into rock, and edgy media... yeah. MePhone really dropped the ball on this one. Somehow, he became friends with Goo. No one knows why, but some point out it's probably because Switchblade's never had a friend before.

Quarter replaces Nickel. He didn't want to become the new leader of the Grand Slams, since that would mean leading.. and he doesn't think he's a good leader! He's also much more earnest and trustworthy than Nickel.. which is the cause for arguments whenever Quarter visits to Purgatory Mansion.

Rugby Ball replaces Baseball. She's a cheerleader! That's basically it. Also does not want to be a leader, because she's always been told by friends and family around her that she will never be good enough to lead. That she should always just be supportive no matter what. Even when her father did reprehensible stuff to her sister.

Present replaces Box. She's probably the most friendly of the newcomers, next to Rugby Ball and Bamboo! Often she's used to store items, much like Suitcase. Except for weapons, Present resents being used to store weapons. She's often seen comforting Suitcase and Balloon to the best of her abilities, or helping Lightbulb cope with the deaths she just witnessed.

Soup replaces Tissues. One of the more unorthodox replacements, Soup used to be bedridden ever since he was a child. It was due to a heart disease, mixed with a bad cold. Now that he was brought to this competition, he can walk again.. which has made him very happy. Soup is one of the few people who visits Purgatory Mansion, often he's seen speaking with Tissues.

Spork replaces Silver Spoon. Shockingly, he's not rich. I know right, so surprising. (/s) All jokes aside, Spork actually comes from a shelter. He watches over the children in the shelter, and even gets paid a little! It's not much, but he admits its better than his old home. Apparently he was also an orphan, and just became the big step brother to this shelter because he learnt how to cook at a young age. He's still trying his best to keep Paintbrush calm during challenges, making sure they don't break down due to stress. (Also Silver Spoon despises Spork for some reason. Can't imagine why though.)

Gauze replaces Lifering. She helps be the nurse on the competition. As such, she is not competing herself. Although she has to remind the other contestants that she is no therapist, and they should probably consult one.. if the competition even has one, that is. She's trying her best to fill in LIfering's shoes, and so far it's been very hard for her.

Boombox replaces Microphone. Their a dork, in the cute way. Everyone likes listening to their attempts at music.. but oddly, they are often seen at Purgatory Mansion. One has to wonder why they are there almost all the time.

File replaces Cabby. Another contestant with big shoes to fill, this collector of information always remembers what's within his file at the time. Removing a file could be bad in his case, so he began stapling the files inside of him. Of course that's hurting him, and the other contestants are trying to get him to stop that.

Teacup replaces Tea Kettle. She's antique, so she doesn't like being filled with liquids! As a result, if she were to be in a swimming challenge, she'd most likely sink fast. They also have been seen ogling at the Purgatory Mansion, but.. they aren't entering anytime soon, because they have a fear of ghosts!

Ketchup and Mustard replaces Salt and Pepper. No one was sad when Salt and Pepper were revealed to have been of the 16 killed. And then they were replaced with a duo comprising of two people who love each other. Also they may or may not be very good at the competition? Power couples are fun to make. :]

Medal replaces Trophy. This athlete is known to have two personalities shown depending on the situation. One is his public, jock personality. And the other.. is his scared, shy personality in private areas. He may not show it, but he is truly scared of the situation he was put into.. Also uh, Trophy hates him (maybe).

Cross replaces Yin-Yang. Shockingly, the duo were separated before death.. which would explain why Yang's ghost is missing. Cross is a kind, religious girl who sometimes gets manipulated by a 'demonic presence'. Some of the contestants don't like her because they think she's going to force them into her religion.. which she doesn't. It's dumb, and she isn't like her parents! One has to wonder what this demonic presences goal is at the end of the day? And also where the heck Yang went.

SO I JUST CAME UP WITH AN EPIC AU 4 MY LIGHTBULB & MEPHONE BEING SIBLINGS HEADCANON!

so Lightbulb's mom met Steve Cobs when she was in college, & they fell in love(at least Lightbulb's mom, aka Lamp(idk lmao), fell in love. she fell out of love later...) they dated 4 a while & were planning 2 get married after it was revealed Lamp was gonna have a baby(aka Lightbulb!). but then Cobs's inventions got noticed by the public & he went off 2 become rich & famous, leaving Lamp by herself 2 take care of her baby. luckily a month before Lightbulb was born, Lamp met another man who was loyal & would never leave her behind. this man is a fella called Banana Smoothie. BS & Lamp dated, fell in love, & got married, making BS Lightbulb's stepdad once she was born. around the age of 19, Lightbulb had a chance 2 compete on a show, Inanimate Insanity. she got accepted into the show & packed her things 2 go off 2 the show. throughout season 1, Lightbulb had a strange feeling every time she heard or looked at her show's host, MePhone4. she kept feeling like they were connected in some way. but she tried 2 just brush the feeling off. it didn't go away. around season 2, she called her mom & instead of the usual shit they talked about (such as how they were all doing & stuff), Lightbulb asked about her dad. it was a random thought. Lamp hesitated but told her daughter. she explained that her father was Steve Cobs, the person behind the Meeple company. Lightbulb thought it was cool at 1st, but then she got 2 see what her birth dad was like when her team had 2 visit Meeple 2 get MePhone a new battery thing. i'll continue this in the next ask or 2
