And 26 for julia 👀
26. What’s something the character has done you can’t get over? Be it something funny, bad, good, serious, whatever?
Being a plant in a pot during the epilogue and credits, when not even 15 minutes earlier, she was the savior and "only" hero who could vanquish Loptyr.
It's still something I can't stomach to this day and the fuel to half a dozen Jugdral AUs I had back then about how a third gen would become, again, the theater of a new continental war.
Like, sure, Julia is a Woman in Jugral (tm) so she's worthless, but what if she gets a major naga son? What if major naga son wants to sit on Seliph's throne, but virtue of being the one who "truly" descends from Heim and the only one who can save the world if Loptyr returns again?
I love Jugdral, but FE4's ending is completely nuts - especially regarding Julia's newly revealed plot importance : the only way I can see Granvalle not falling apart in the next gen is if Julia's kid is also Seliph's (I know), or if Seliph gives the throne to Julia's kid, or if somehow, Seliph's kid shags Linoan's kid (or the lady herself?) to get another "line" of major Naga blooded without relying on Julia.
#2goldensnitches#meme game#replies#jugdral nonsense#FE4#FE5#mention because Linoan is mentionned#I really can't get over Julia's treatment in her game and I wonder wtf IS is going to cook post Fodlan to make it better than this#without shattering Jugdral's core mechanics/background

Top 5 Fire Emblem ships you wish people understood the vision?
Most of the ships I like are pretty mainstream, so this is a hard question to answer, but I'll just talk about them anyway
1. Mareeta/Ced
This is probably the only actual rarepair I like. It's definitely a bit of a stretch since they have 0 dialogue and only 2-3 chapters that overlap where you can deploy both of them (and they don't even have that much if you choose to recruit Saias instead).
If you really wanted to you could find things that they have in common but admittedly part of this ship is that I just like both of them a lot and have no one else to pair them with. Ced has Altena but I don't really like Altena that much, and Tine but I don't think Ced and Tine have much of an interesting dynamic together. Mareeta has Saias which is just weird tbh.
Overall it's not an impossible ship or anything, just one that probably has to happen after the war rather than during it.
2. Tine/Febail
This isn't a rare ship but also not common so I thought I'd include it. I was introduced to the idea by friends and I think its growing on me, partly because you can easily imagine Tine and Febail meeting before the main story. Febail probably worked multiple jobs for Bloom before what we see in game, and Tine sneaks around to help villages in the northern area. And again, I don't have any other ships I was previously invested in for either of them. I kind of want to draw a comic / 'manga' of how I imagine their first meeting could have gone, but I don't know if my drawing skills are good enough for that.
3. Arthur/Fee
They are incredibly mainstream but I feel like I never mention them so I'll do it here. Their banter is cute, and it makes the serious moments shine more, like when Arthur expresses some genuine worry and Fee's confused. Someone bubbly like Fee is great for balancing Arthur's rougher personality.
4. Leif/Nanna
Again they are pretty mainstream, but out of all the mostly-canon Jugdral ships, they don't get talked about that much. From what I've seen it feels like a lot of people just pair them together but aren't that invested in their relationship, but I am. I don't usually like childhood sweethearts as a trope, but Leif and Nanna go through a lot growing up, and it's not a stretch to imagine them relying on each throughout that. They always have each other even if they have to leave other people like Asbel, Miranda and Linoan behind while on the run. Overall I just think they're really sweet together.
5. Lene/Ares
Not a rarepair either but I'm running out of Gen2 ships. This used to be one of my favorite ships period, and I still like it but I did recover from being completely deranged and moved on to other ships for that. I can imagine them in Darna together, not really having anyone else but each other. I also think the point of their big fight is something that actually makes sense, which is good because I don't like when fights are nonsensical and just used for drama. They also have some elements which aren't addressed in game but could add an interesting angle, like difference in class/status.

Okay since Magvel got a banner. The next game most in need of a banner is Thracia. This is my “prediction/wish list” for a hypothetical near future Thracia Banner. Grand Hero Battle is either Kempf, Redric, or Cyas. Redric in that he’s the main bad of FE5. I put Kempf in there because I like him. Okay Kempf is more popular than Redric and honestly he has shared history to Reinhardt & Olwen. Not to mention at least in the US, Kempf is meme material. Cyas because Reinhardt mentions him albeit Cyas isn’t really an enemy to Leif. For the Thracia Banner. Potential Reds - Leif, Eyvel, Marita, Nanna (Ideal) Potential Blues - Finn, Glade, Dean Potential Greens - Othin, Dagda, Marty, Potential Colorless - Saphy, Tanya, Selfina, Sleuf, Nanna Potential Mages That Can Be Any Color - Asvel, Linoan, Salem, Leif - Self explanatory Eyvel - Best Mom in Jugdral, and Fiana Gang Marita - Best Swordmaster in Jugdral, and also Fiana Gang. Nanna - WE ARE NOT HAVING ANOTHER LACHESIS ORDEAL. SHE HAS THE EARTH SWORD USE IT. Also canon love interest of Leif. Finn - Leif’s bodyguard. Self explanatory Glade - He has to be. Let him rest. Othin - Fiana Gang, preferred over Havan. Pugi is cool personal weapon. Dagda - Fiana Gang and the “Jagen” Marty - Fiana Gang and meme material Saphy - First cleric, kick-starts Leif’s first goal in the game Tanya - Fiana Gang, pretty much guaranteed if Othin is there Selfina - Either to paired with Finn so he won’t be so cold to Lachy, or to be with Glade. Also first Bow Knight in Heroes. Sleuf - Okay memes aside. The most recent Cipher Card set proved to me they still remember the Light of Zwei but still the most unlikely. Asvel - First mage of the game, broship to Leif Linoan - Very important and Naga blood. Give her Nosferatu or something. Please don’t make her a staff user. Salem - First Dark Mage in series. Personal Want.

Leif's views on money? What are his spending habits? Is he a penny pincher or is he quite wasteful? Is he an impulse buyer?
ooc. leif sees money as something of a necessary evil, fundamentally. he’s not misanthropic about it but many times over the years, he’s encountered greed and seen how wealth can corrupt people or how wealth disparity creates gaps between people that few other things in life can. the whole problem between north and south thracia originated from a problem of resources, but it quickly became a problem of wealth when north thracians became unwilling to share their resources with south thracia, and imposed crippling tariffs on agricultural trade with the south ( this is all canon from the game ).
it’s also noted in-game how greedy the north thracian nobility are known to be. august points out that this is a reputation that they have, and the reason why they’re so unwilling to part with like one gold coin for the south thracians, who they see as a bunch of lazy good-for-nothing layabouts who don’t want to work hard and would rather just pillage to get by.
therefore, most of leif’s experiences with money have been fairly negative. he’s also in the strange position where he grew up in poverty, having to live off alms and whatever people could offer him. even when he rose to the head of the liberation effort, he had almost no expenses to back the war effort ( some of it, i imagine, realistically came from dorias’ family, probably linoan and miranda’s, but the tyranny of the empire made northern thracia pretty tight on cash too, and even the nobility didn’t have much to give them. some of them, though maybe not on the side of the empire, likely threw their chips in with redrick subtly by not helping to fund leif’s campaign — it’s clear from npc dialogue in fe5 that not many people expected leif to actually succeed ).
as a result, of course, in-game we see that, unlike many other fe games where you get money along the way ( or gems, which you sell ), leif starts out broke and stays broke ( unless you arena grind, but that’s a mechanic ). to get money, you have to sell weapons and supplies you don’t use — but in order to get those weapons to sell in the first place, you have to capture enemy units and loot from them. this is the only way to outfit your army.
but! when he becomes king and comes properly into thracia’s treasury, he’s suddenly rich ( at least compared to his previous situation. objectively speaking, new thracia isn’t actually that wealthy compared to other countries like grannvale and agustria ). suddenly, everyone’s attitude towards him changes. nobility are kissing his ass and the south thracians are still suspicious of him, and a lot of the common folk aren’t sure how to feel about him because they’re unsure whether his new policies will actually help them or if he’ll just sit on his laurels like most of the north thracian 1% do. suddenly everyone who advises him has an opinion on where funds should go and leif, who doesn’t have any experience with handling large sums of money, is really overwhelmed.
fortunately for him, he has a lot of well-intentioned advisers who do want the best for thracia, and are more experienced than him and can help him budget, and also know when someone is ripping him off or trying to manipulate him. he’s still hesitant in his dealings with the treasury, but he’s slowly learning.
on his own, leif tries not to spend much where he doesn’t have to. of course he spends to have all the necessary trappings as a king — the clothes and the horses and all the best stuff, but there’s a bit of tension where this is concerned because some of his advisers think it’s only proper that he outfit himself and his castle properly, but he knows that, with everything else that needs to be funded in thracia, he can’t afford to cover leonster castle in silk and taffeta, for example, or buy 30 more sets of silver dishware. as i’ve mentioned before, leif himself still prefers to dress modestly, partially because it’s what he’s used to and also because it helps him feel more relatable to the common people. ( whether or not this is a good thing is hotly debated among his advisers too. )
so in a lot of ways, leif is a penny pincher because he grew up having to make money stretch and he’s used to that mindset. he’s definitely not an impulse buyer, and he tries to cut costs on the big things where he can, but he’s still struggling to reach a compromise between saving money and not cutting back so much as to hurt his reputation or come off stingy where something needs to be done ( sort of like a larger scale equivalent of when you go to the grocery store and the apples are on sale for half price but you also know that probably means they’re cheap for a reason. ) it becomes even more of a problem when thracia ( esp. northern thracia, which is still accustomed to being wealthy on the whole ) has a strong tradition of gift-giving. and he can’t exactly give cheap gifts without being disrespectful.
that being said, he’s also really conscious of being seen as poor, or not as well-off, especially now that he represents all of thracia too, not just himself. so, outside of the gift-giving, he won’t let people buy things for him, because he doesn’t want to give the impression that thracia is a place where people have to accept charity from other people ( or is in a condition where it does ). he’s got a lot of pride in and for his country, after all.

Final Chapter - Freege to Velthomer!
Last time in FE4, Hilda died and we learnt that Julia was supposed to be the only one to save the world.
What’s going to happen now?
Ishtar joins her mom in the place all Jugdralian people go to before turning into ghosts, and Manfroy reveals his trump card : EVIL!JULIA!
Ishtar will lead the last “human” forces against us. The Weissenritter was mentionned during the first gen, can they live to their hype?
don’t mention the name of that owl to me julius
This is super creepy though, Ishtar apologise because she has to leave his side, and Julius wonders why she wants to get out so badly... Toxic relationships 101 : something you have to avoid at all costs
remember when the isaachian maggot sliced’n’diced you? You know, the one who’s married to your brother? “i have nihil now”
This is side of Ishtar we don’t always see, the one who’s proud to be a part of Freege’s prestigious mages.
I wonder if this is really bullshit, but i like this part of “they killed my family i can’t let them run amok”. We’re in a game called Genealogy - it works for the heroes, but also for the other side.
Julius is kind of aware that Ishtar wants to escape him? Why? Because he knows that his actions are utter crap, or because he knows she’s found out about Loptyr?
:’(
I don’t know who Ishtar’s trying to convince here, Julius or herself? Or maybe she loves “Julius” but she knows “Julius” is dead, so she has no reason to live anymore and seeks death? Loptyr suspects something, but ultimately, he doesn’t care.
We’re not in the “i love you” “ i know” Leia/Han, more in the “i love you” “whatever”...
Vaha had children with brown hair? This one has some serious eye problems or red eyes are common? Maybe she’s one of Julius’ half-cousins?
Sorry yourself!
His dad died, Ishtar’s made her last good bye, but to him it’s still a game? Or maybe he sends his deadlords to help Ishtar’s troops?
or maybe they were the reason why she wanted to run away asap from belhalla because zombies are kind of creepy
PURGE THEM MY PAWN
EVIL JULIA IS SO EVIL SHE HAS DOUBLE MIRACLE THAT’S SO EVIL I CAN’T EVEN
:’(
Aerone has no place in the postwar!Jugdral, and especially no place in the future Thracia. Keep going where? For what?
Revenge? I guess anyone who spot the zombies knows that there is no “winning back” anything if Julius wins. If Leif wins, they will never be able to return to the motherland, but if Julis wins, they will never be able to return to, idk, anywhere because there won’t be a somehwere to land on.
It’s not a defiance, it’s just pointless. But it’s the beautiful kind of pointless, something tackled on at the end of the game - this game is called genealogy, revenge breeds revenge, etc...
Oh shit - I forgot to check their skills and they were aware, so no murder in sight for Faval (remember how his uncle Andrei was famous for killing peg knights? Faval tried to do the same, but Meng and co aren’t as naive as Manhya). Seriously those peg knights were a pain to deal with.
Liar, i gave you a sword. Arthur is sassy and rude towards his wife, that’s not very kind of you.
Well, I can’t disagree with him here. You’re in the last map of the game, a sea of red units is in sight, it’s not the time for an idle and pointless support convo!
Of course she’s important to you, she’s your wife! You forgot or something??
OH! YOU DIDN’T
Promises you can’t keep 2.0. : 1 !
Who’s going to inherit Velthomer? Not Saias, he doesn’t exist in this game!
Attack!
Oh. Note that Ced had accuracy issues here, due to all those LS stars around. When I said this part was annoying, it was annoying because i had no reliable way to murder the peg knights, and Cairpre - unpromoted in all of his glory - was loitering around.
Hit 54 for the supposed greatest unit in the game? That’s disappointing - granted, Faval’s hit rate was around 15-20 so...
At least you mention your sisters! It nearly made me feel bad for killing you.
Maybe because Arion isn’t Quan’s and can’t switch sides so easily?
What truly matters is to save the world from Loptyr, but Alty’s going too far. His own vanity and pride? Your new friends killed his dad, and want to put Leif on his throne!
“he promoted since our last meeting?”
Setting his own suffering? Is Seliph feeling bad because he has to kill his brother - wait he just said he’ll managed to convince Julia to do it for her - or because of something else? Like everyone is suffering in this war, but they must do it to save the world?
“and getting rid of my dad to avenge Quan was compulsory to save the world?”
Anyways, RN, Seliph’s fighting to save the world, so swallow your pride and join us? Is it what Alty’s trying to say?
???
Where does this come from? Why making a moving speech just to spit on it afterwards? What about fighting for justice? I don’t understand those siblings at all...
Julius called him a mercenary? And fighting for Altena, really? He gave up on the motherland and all of his previous motives just like that?
Meh.
Poor Tine. She tries to make Ishtar remember how she used to be the kind cousin, surely the kind cousin doesn’t want to fight for a brat summoning zombies around!
Ishy acknowledges she’s doing the “wrong” thing, but she can’t turn back now. At least she managed to save the children, so she’s just here following Julius for “reasons”, not because she believed in his crap. But why dying? Well...
“It is I, Ares the Bla-”
“Shut up”
Ares doesn’t tolerate people telling him to shut up while he is announcing who they’re facing against.
I don’t remember why i screencap’d this. She’s affiliated to Belhalla, not to Ishy? idk.
Well, she already died...
After Ishtar and her friends’ death, Seliph and co run to Velthomer to kill a certain someone but...
What are you talking about
hit 20 - at least he’s not being assaulted by naked women like the FE5 version of the spell but gdi Ares
“Julia, I’m your husband!”
“HA HA HA You’re not even important to the plot, and you’re from the land of no relevance! Even Miletos is more important than your barbarian country!”
She’s too evil to recognise her husband!
Oh. Seliph suggests that Manfroy cursed her, so he must have spot her convo with Ulster.
What about the “do not hate people but the evil in their hearts” or something?
And here, Seliph finally knows what happened to his mother! Has he even believed once that she betrayed to marry Arvis and knew about Siggy being her former husband but didn’t care, or has he always known that his mom was brainwashed to end up with Arvis?
Manfroy is proud to explain his grand plan. And proud he shall be, he played everyone just to bring Julius into this world!
In the old translation he meant that Loptyr finally took possesion of Julius, but here I think it’s more ambiguous?
WELL NOBODY COULD IF YOU KILLED THE USELESS PUPPET YOU SENT TO TORMENT ULSTER
Oh Seliph. I truly believed that your Father would have died in the first gen, regardless of Manfroy’s ambitions. Siggy wasn’t meant to survive in the Granvalle of Arvis, Reptor and Langbalt.
Manfroy is an exception to the “don’t hate the people”, just like the Dozels.
Ares stole the kill - or maybe he wanted to help Seliph “you can’t preach about understanding people if you murder this guy on spot”
What evidence? Some real evidence or your last hopes? I mean, the guy/dragon must have been so relieved to see Julia alive, so what’s another miracle after that?
Detective Felipe!
Just smash the locked case damn it!
So here Arvis’ “take this circlet it will save you” was actually relevant! He knew Julia’d be sent in Velthomer and she’d be able to open the box?
“why can’t we just smash the thing” - “it’s a magic lock” - “can’t we ask Patty” - “Magic Seliph, magic.”
I hope this changes in the remake. Really. I thought she’d be free once Manfroy died, but nope, she continued to try to kill her husband.
You crossed Granvalle on your own without being conscious?
Brainwashed her uh?
was she going to tell him about her secret identity?
so you know how i hate you because you killed “the kindest man” and how i will never let you near Julius?
kidding
Seliph apologises because he couldn’t fulfill the promise he made her in the first chapter, it’s a cute throwback to chapter 6!
Julia knows why she survived all these years for, not because F!Lewyn was a gentle soul who rescued her out of kindness, but because she was a weapon!
:)
You never ran away?! You were warped around by everyone and never had any agency!
This is uncomfortable - Why is Julia thinking it’s her fault because she ran away, and why is Seliph telling her she’s right??
Oh, here we find the same kind of speech Alty gave earlier. They must march on to get rid of Loptyr!
No “welcome back Julia, are you okay?” Goodness, with F!Lewyn around, no wonder why Julia still thinks her dad is the “kindest man” ever.
F!Lewyn is so happy, he didn’t fail his mission! Finally, the naga major has the book of naga! It could have happened way earlier but here it is!
“it was the shiny book on mom’s bedside’ table”
Shining!Julia
TIME TO END THE GAME
#FE4#FE4 run#Julia#Julia yes#I both feel bad for Ishtar and bad about Ishtar#Honesty there's no point to Aerone anymore#at least FE5!Aerone can sort of trust Leif because Leif save Linoan and isn't a Quan jr#but FE4!Leif??#Hide your wyverns/dragons!#i wrote about FE4 earlier but when i see Julia's lines i start to despise this seriously#why is she blaming herself?#she NEVER ran away#if she ran away and refused to help Seliph because Arvis' death it'd make more sense#but here???#and why the hell the circlet#arvis thought she'd be sent to Belhalla or counted on the miracle skill imbued in it?#and when i think about those brainwashing issues it's just#not to mention why isn't julia dead yet#and let's not mention her husband who's totally useless#i know they couldn't make a line per husband and all but come one#come on#why must seliph talk to her after manfroy's demise to have her snap out???

Chapter 10 - Chronos to Miletos!
Welp in the last post i said Seliph ended up in Chronos, but no, he rekt’d Morrigan in Rados (even if i think you’re supposed to seize Chronos last?).
Anyways, after destroying evil people, Seliph meets his half-bro who’s playing the latest trendy game around.
But first, Seliph’s stepdad tries to do something.
Oldvis hasn’t seen Ishtar in ages! Naturally he asks how she’s doing.
kill that, it was just small talk. And, oh, surprise, Oldvis doesn’t care about the child hunts. So yes Amalda, your emperor hasn’t agreed with those things, you were right to trust him!
“i’ll tell him to go to his room and we’ll be over with this”
Oldvis uses the authority card. It’s never a good thing when one uses this card, because it means that, basically, you’re useless.
Daw, Oldvis didn’t want to bang her Julius! What do you mean by “is mine” btw? Your fiancée, your plaything, your tool?
Lil’ dastard. Oldvis pretends to be able to do something, or tries to use his big voice but Julius doesn’t care anymore.
This - Oldvis tried to banish his son, but it didn’t work. The Loptyr Sect prevented Julius from being banished? And banished where? The Empire is everywhere, unless Arvis wanted to send him to Travant. Maybe he wanted to send him to Archanea??
Oldvis looks so feeble here, it hurts. And Julius treats his dad like crap, bad Julius, bad!
:’(
That’s not a way to talk to your dad! Granted, Young!Arvis might also have been as dastardly as that to, say, Reptor so... I can’t say he earned this, but it’s also ironic.
I wonder what must happen in Oldvis’ head, is he really that beaten/broken? later we see that he is not, but here... what happened during those 7 years when Julius turned into Loptyr?
Of course you laugh, Arvis treated you like crap in chapter 5 so now you have your revenge!
Julius doesn’t join Manfroy in his Oldvis bashing. Maybe he doesn’t see the point. and OMG WHY IS HE MENTIONING JULIA???
OMFG NO DO YOU MEAN THIS USELESS CHARACTER WAS ACTUALLY THE PRINCESS OF GRANVALLE??? HOW COME NO ONE RECOGNISED HER??
I guess it was surprising, she only knew her kind and gentle brother and now he wants to kill her!
Finally we learn what happened to Deedee! Granted, Julius’ words here always make me sour.
Deedee accepted her death “to save Julia”?? It’s not like we have a kind of similar scenario in FE5, where a mother has to fight against one of children to protect another, but thanks for Nanna, Eyvel didn’t “accept her death” - and even if she had been able to use a rewarp staff to put her to safety, I doubt she’d have “accepted her death” without trying to help Mareeta. But Jugdral’s best mom has no peers in this world.
Ghoul yourself!
Yep! Do it now, we must do it now before you turn senile and decided to send her against the others, or some other shit plan like that.
Keeping this book under “the strictest lock” is a good plan indeed, if you didn’t knew where she was.
Julius/Loptyr takes no chances, the Book is locked, yes, but without anyone to wield it then he’s sure he’s going to be fine.
Note how Julius speaks about the avatars of Naga; Seliph isn’t a major blooded Naga peep so he doesn’t count? what about linoan?
Too bad Julius, he failed you. And by sundown, really? Talk about rushing things! Besides, Julius “supposes” he is needed?
Why? He just told you getting rid of Julia is the highest priority!
Julius doesnt’ like peasants, but he doesn’t care much about Seliph. And he is right, Seliph can’t do a thing to him without Julia, the worse he can do is breed with Linoan to bring another major Naga, but bar that he is as relevant as Duke Scipio. Peasants are going to revolt because Seliph is supposedly the true heir of Granvalle, but if he can’t kill Julius, then what?
Julius doesn’t believe Seliph is his older bro - it’s nothing but superstitious nonsense! He cares more about Julia, and dragon-wise/plot-wise, we should do the same but we’re following the adventures of Seliph.
I wonder if a Ced narrative would focus more on recovering Julia if he were to learn that his dad went missing because he had to protect the only person on the continent able to get rid of Loptyr.
A threat? No, he doesn’t. And seriously Julius, I know we’re in a game where sword emblem is broken, and theoretically Seliph could kill you with the Tyrfing, but even with the Tyrfing, and lore-wise, no, he can’t possibly be much a threat.
It’s pretty darn funny that Manfroy’s master plan fails because he believes Seliph is a real treat disregarding Julia completely. Manfroy breaks the 4th wall? Seliph is the Lord thus he must die, Julia is nothing.
Yep. The greater plot, regardless of what F!Lewyn tries to hammer, doesn’t give a fig about Seliph. Loptyr only cares about Julia.
Poor Manfroy.
Go Loptyr goons , defend Miletos!
You have a better idea than the one you just ordered? Oh Julius...
Yay! Kill a rebel!
Yippie!
I know this sounds odd in regards to FE5!Ishtar who’s more nuanced, but bear in mind that her mom escaped death a few turns ago so she’d be more than likely to want to kill some rebels. But sounding so happy about it? A bit Meh.
You have good eyes OIfey!
Poor OIfey has been the one living in exile for 17 years, he was just supposed to assist Sigurd and then he was thrown in this mess. I feel bad for him.
ARDEN WHO??? But note how Oifey mentions his peers, and the young knights of Chalphy so maybe Arden wasn’t a noble to begin with? He had just been a commoner who enrolled?
every last Chalphy face was a firendly one or you had other friends who weren’t from Chalphy?
Seliph comes from everywhere, save from the land he is supposed to inherit.
Oh :’(
Don’t be like that Seliph, do you think Prince Ulster of Verdane has any right, bar his blood, to rule over the barbarians there?
:)
I’m sure some pious citizens would prefer Major Naga Empress on the throne of Granvalle, but this is only food for an AU.
Who? The citizens of Chalpy or the citizens of Granvalle? Because the Granvalle peeps were happy until Julius became mad, hell, some of them don’t even know about the child hunts etc. So you’re actually saying a lot of crap, unless you’re talking about the people of Chalphy, and if Palmark is any indication, they weren’t put to the noose as soon as Siggy kicked the bucket.
Again, we don’t see the common folk of Granvalle in FE5, but if we can compare with the randoms of Thracia, they’re not praying for the second coming of Quan, they just want to get on with their shitty lives without risking to be killed by random brigands etc. But maybe the people of Chalphy believe in Siggy the 2nd, even if, and i never stress it enough, when Siggy and pals died, they died as traitors.
Saying Siggy is a hero means saying Arvis is a dastard, and in the beginning or the Empire, Arvis was well loved, even now, in FE5, Arvis is still loved.
So really meh about this line.
I don’t know if this “fairy tale” is made up by OIfey to cheer Seliph up, or if some diehard Chalpy loyalists really think that, or if Oifey himself sees Seliph as the 2nd coming of Siggy who will avenge his dad and save the world.
Mmh. I’m not convinced.
Granted, everyone hates the child hunts, and they want them to stop. Are they all suddenly calling to the son of a traitor to help them?
Seliph has had enough of the propaganda described by OIfey, and asks about the greater plot. Maybe all the randoms don’t like Arvis, maybe some think he is Loptyr...
maybe those randoms forgot how their dark god instaured a relatively peaceful land for 10 years, or they just slander Oldvis because he is the Emperor and the Empire has turned into a shitty place.
Or maybe the people we liberated couldn’t go all Amalda like “i had faith in Arvis what happened to him” because we’re the LA and Seliph’s n°1 objective is to rekt him, so no one should express sympathy for the man?
“don’t worry, i have a pony now!”
Hahaha - the only one who can rekt the dark God isn’t even a Lord in this damn game
He looks scary?
Mmh... like what? You look into his eyes and you’re charmed or something?
Julius had a group of fangirls! How cute! Granted, i don’t know if what happened to them next could be called cute...
Fig off
What if i sacrifice you?!
Welp, Julius tries to kill the useless man his useless sister married. Kinslaying, again. Hopefully, Ulster dodged.
Seliph wanted to say hello to his brother.
Larcei cut their discussion and Julius grew bored.
what? an useless characted inheriting an useless land married to an useless woman? Ulster’s pretty happy with this life.
He won’t.
Fee finally talks to her trash dad. But trash dad has some kind of draconic circumstances to explain his behaviour.
If i were Fee i’d slap him because she had been the only one to be at her mom’s side when she died
Maybe she really slapped him then! GG Fee!
You were happy seeing him? He who abandonned you all? And returned with another child? you’re a nice person Fee.
:’(
He has never been the kindest person around, but ignoring her completely...
He knows what it is to get shunned by his own Mother though! I miss you Rahna
Constructive behaviour here, but Fee isn’t the adult so i can let it slide.
I had the same reaction. F!Lewyn is really... despicable, regardless of his nature.
Many playthoughs of FE4 came to the same conclusion, so no Fee, even if your mom married Arden, she’d still be dead.
At least he acknowldges it.
??
To this day, I still don’t understand his outburst. Did Erin met F!Lewyn and told him it was A-OK to go and do whatever with Julia to save the world, she wouldn’t tell her kids about it? Or did she know F!Lewyn wasn’t her husband anymore?
He is trying to push her away, because he knows he can’t be her dad anymore or something else? Or because he is just that awful?
The kids? What about the most important one? The one with Major Naga blood? She doesn’t even deserve a mention?
“damn those foot units”
At least we managed to be on time for those repairs to be done.
Onwards to victory
I mean - Onwards to Chalphy!
#fe4 run#FE4#Seliph no#Julia no#Julius is adorable#fig you random old man#kill a rebel yay#Manfroy no#damn it stop believing the Chalphyian propaganda#listen to your prince gfdi#julia is the major threat not seliph#poor oifey though#maybe he is the one really believing those things#heck if Finn managed to make people Leif's was acclaimed as hero by his peope#when we saw that it wasn't the case#maybe Oifey thought he could do the same?#a good lie never hurt right?#if F!Lewyn's plan since the beginning was to mold Seliph into a hero-bait to hide the Julia then it'd have been great#everyone's focusing on Seliph meanwhile major naga gets her weapon and it's over#but nope#I feel bad for Oldvis though#no matter how much crap he did before he doesn't deserve to be treated like dirt#watch me say the contrary when i type the next post

(Same anon about dating and stuff but not recolors I'm afraid) You know, I thought about an AU where Seliph is the emperor of Jugdral and it was depressing. It was based on this video where a guy killed of all his army to achieve this ending but I thought that was too dark and sad. So instead, this AU is based on a substitute run where no ONE was paired up in Gen 1. In other words, there is no Lana, Nanna, Faval and ect. existing. Continued in another ask as running out of space.
If the kids were mentioned, then it would be as names their "mothers" would name their children. However, the events of FE4 and FE5 stay the same, just Janne takes Nanna's role and Hawk leads the Magi group for examples. Anyway, Though out the Gen 2, all fixed characters who were guaranteed to rule a land were KIA. Shanan, Ares, Aletena, Leaf, and even Julia didn't make it. Their deaths take a toll on Seliph, with Oifey and the others comforting him. Continued in other ask GDI.
But the royals' lovers and closest friends/mentors/disciple take it harder, with some relationships being strained towards Seliph and others. Come to the end, and Seliph realizes that he is in the same position as Alvis, as the sole surviving Naga crusader and is forced to rule all of Jugdral as emperor. He has doubts and is afraid he'll make the same mistakes as Alvis did. But the rest of his comrades will be there to help him, reminding him he is not alone. Bittersweet, but more bitter however
Bitter ending AU from anon -
Really bitter though, no Leif, no Julia (T-T), no Altena, no Ares and well... no one? Seliph’d might worry he’ll become Arvis the second but everyone in the remaining world will really be out for (his?) blood. Just like you said, I can’t imagine Leif’s advisors/friends from FE5 being totally okay with cousin Seliph taking over because Leif died and he is the only one left!
(Miranda is still around, and Fergus too?)
Just like the Naga Crusader issue - well Seliph isn’t a Crusader or if he is he is one just like Linoan - if he rules over the world because he is a Naga, some might try to use the same card using Linoan (too bad August might be cheering for Seliph’s side... unless he came to truly care about Leif and won’t stand by letting Cousin Seliph conquering the world). Stuff in Isaach? Well, they seem to like Seliph enough but they loved their King Shanan more, and if some idiot trains in their arena using not!Astra but some technique because her “heart and sword are in unison” the Isaach’s annexion is going to be contested (not saying Mareeta’ll be the new ruler, but if it is known major Odos are still alive i doubt Isaachians’ll be super happy with, even if they like him, a non-Odo on the throne).
But I guess the final (or ultimate) blow might come from Granvalle, some Crusader lines died and even if Oifey and the subs or randoms try their best to cheer Seliph, he’d still be alone on the throne. and i doubt Saias’ll be very happy knowing Seliph failed to protect Julia
The more i think about it, the more i’m sad about Seliph. Poor Seliph. Don’t let this AU happen for his sake
#Anon#Jugdral AU#poor Seliph#Jugdral's bad ending#no seriously with Leif dead Miranda can finally bring Alster back to glory#Agustria's still going to be a mess anyways#Anonymous
