Why did they have to shave off Oliver's sideburns? He doesn't even look like himself anymore! I hope it's just a temporary time jump or something, because right now it's a tie for worst hair together with season 4 fluffy sides/flat top, at least according to poor little me. 😟 (Sorry if you like it, Oliver!)
it definitely looks weird! I'm just so used to the sideburns. now it looks very.. Abrupt? honestly im wondering whether it was an actor choice or hair&makeup choice. how much say do actors get over what their hair should look like? because i kinda think that they should get to have a say over their hair. and facial hair. with exceptions of course. like canon is real picky about LAFD rules but i *understand* why beards aren't allowed. im not mad, just disappointed...
ok this may not make sense but do you all remember that phase tumblr went through making memes about witches and wizards where witches were domestic, community oriented, and voices of reason and wizards were fun, free roaming agents of chaos and it was literally just repackaged gender binary stereotypes? i feel like it's been happening again with the hair stylist vs. barber vein of comedy like this:
like does anyone see what i'm talking about? am i just crazy?
hey :) i love your look!!!! related question: does your hair fall like that naturally or do you use some product? because if yes please teach me your ways i want to have as much butch swag as you
Hi, thank you so much!! It’s both. It’s falls like this pretty naturally esp when it’s shorter but when I want to spruce it up or keep it neat (mostly bc the back always gets unkempt) I use a wax/cream that I got from my stylist, would def recommend for shaping shorter hair like mine. For texture I use a little sea salt spray or just style it after I’ve lifted weights lol.
Products I use! ^ oh and a comb too, more recently.
I've never been sure how to make conversation at, like, the hair salon or any other place where a person is working on you but through years of observation I realized that most people at the hair salon just talk about literally whatever is on their mind, so that's what I do. Once I walked into the hair salon and told my lady and anyone who was willing to listen about the weird sci-fi novel I just finished. Today I told my physical therapist about Antarctic history while she manipulated my ankle.
