The perfect beard length to make you more attractive…
Tumblr media
Of all the things we have supposedly reached the peak of this year, #peakbeard is likely the first, now the first rays of spring sunshine made the luxuriously hirsute seem somewhat overdressed. But those men who ignored the harbingers of facial hair’s doom will be bristling with pride to learn that their beard has been proven to enhance their desirability to women and make them more appealing as a potential partner.
Researchers at the University of New South Wales in Australia found that female study subjects rated faces with heavy beards highest for parenting ability and healthiness, and as significantly more alluring than clean-shaven examples. But you don’t need to look like you live in the woods for a month to enjoy the visual benefits – heavy stubble was judged to be the most attractive of all the grades studied.
Which means that cutting the razor out of your mirror routine for a few days is enough to see some decent growth where it will really make a difference. After all, it’s unlikely that we’re going to reach ‘peak handsome’ any time soon.

I feel like I've unlocked a new version of myself with this beard I’ve been growing. 😁
I won’t keep it, but I just wanted to see if it could actually connect—and it does. ( it’s the likkle tings)
Feeling good about yourself, no matter your state, is important. As Scorpios, we often think, "I’ll be happy when... I get that job," "I’ll be happy when... I get that relationship," or "I’ll be happy when... I get this money." This "when" makes happiness conditional and unsustainable. As conscious, aware beings and water signs, we need to understand that joy is better than happiness. Happiness is a fleeting emotion impacted by external stimuli, while joy is deeper and more enduring.
You've done a lot of work on yourself, and you are good enough as you are right now. Someone might not know what to do with all that, but don’t let anything dictate your happiness. Everything in this physical world is subject to change. Remember, you deserve and are worthy of joy.
Joy feels like a full beard. Joy feels like sharing memes that make you laugh with friends and laughing loud until your sides hurt. Joy feels like this flowy Afro art dress shirt designed by the amazing designer @stvalentinesays.
Joy feels like unobstructed views on Billionaires Road yet representing Brooklyn everywhere you go.
Black Boy Joy all summer.
I am going to continue to write and share my thoughts ideas and voice. It makes being a content creator easy because I’m just being myself on my platforms. Thanks for letting share.

How To Help Your Man Feel More Self-Confident In The New Year - Zawzor
Tumblr media
New Year, as we all know, is a time for new beginnings… but a lot of it is also about appreciating what we already have in our lives. There can be a temptation among many of us to attempt to treat the New Year as such a “clean slate”, that we overlook our previous successes and current strengths. And that, in turn, won’t help us establish the platform for new triumphs.
This brings us neatly onto the subject of the self-confidence of your boyfriend, husband, or for that matter, any other special man you might have in your life.
If he has made noises about wanting to “do better” in certain aspects of his life in 2024, but you feel he could do with a self-esteem boost to help him on his way, here are a few routes to accomplishing exactly that.
Don’t tell him he seems to lack confidence
It may seem curious for us to start our list of tips advising you not to do something. But the fact is, men can be sensitive about the subject of their self-esteem – telling him he needs to work on becoming more self-confident may seem to him an attack on his “manliness”.
So, while being open and honest is generally a good thing in most parts of life when it comes to helping your guy bolster his self-confidence, an approach of discreet nudging might be preferable.
Show him that you find him attractive
You might be in a relationship with your man – even a very well-established relationship – but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep flirting with him as if you’ve only just met him in a bar!
Whether guys say it or not, they do like to feel they are good-looking, just like women do. We’re sure there is something about him you will find hot, even if he doesn’t resemble Brad Pitt or George Clooney, so you should be sure to drop in those compliments on the regular.
Make it clear you love being around him
The previous point, of course, ought to be accompanied by this one: as is the case with women, men love to be appreciated for their minds, personalities, and what they might do for their partner, rather than simply their looks or “hotness”.
So, you should not hesitate to convey that you genuinely enjoy his company. Don’t merely say that to him – show it, too. By that, we mean such things as taking a genuine interest in the things he says and actively participating in conversations with him about his passions, interests, and your lives together.
Don’t forget the positive body language that should come through in your non-verbal cues, too; think of all those smiles, laughs, and physical contact such as hugs and placing your head on his shoulder.
Purchase him a treat or two that relates to his self-confidence
Again, in making this inclusion, we have to cycle back to the point we made earlier: be subtle, rather than blatant, in your efforts to improve your man’s self-esteem.
So, if you purchase your guy a men’s grooming set for his upcoming birthday or your anniversary, don’t say something along the lines of, “You need to be better groomed, so I got you this”.
But if, on the other hand, he has embarked on a lot of business trips lately or is set to do so, and his existing travel grooming accessories are starting to look a little “second hand”, something like this men’s manicure set in a brown travel case – containing various stainless steel tools such as nail clippers, tweezers, and scissors – could be the perfect understated present to get him.
Naturally, that’s just one of the many great-quality and excellent-value men’s gift ideas you can find in our online shopping channel here at Zawzor, also encompassing the likes of beard sets, shoe care kits, and even cufflinks.
Quite a few of the men’s grooming products, jewellery, and other gifts in our range could play a role in your man’s efforts to boost his self-confidence during 2024. So, why not go ahead and take advantage of our generous store offerings at Zawzor today, in the knowledge that we also make available free delivery if you are in the UK?

I mostly think this poll is hilarious (and some people are taking it way, way too seriously) but it’s starting to get really weird how often people on the opposite side are dismissing Gundam — a giant of science fiction that remade a genre in its image — and quite literally lying about Suletta and Miorine. I’ve seen people claim they were canonically married to men, people claim the show’s ending was rewritten by interns, claim they never hugged, and other claims regarding them not being canon.
While Bandai and Kadokawa did censor one interview, and Bandai released an “open to interpretation” statement, these no longer hold true. Official material has henceforth referred to them as married. One instance of censorship and a statement they’ve clearly walked back on does not erase the fact that the show itself heavily emphasizes their wedding rings, refers to Miorine as Eri’s sister-in-law, and makes it abundantly clear that they are married.
“I knew I was going to make an epilogue, but it was a while before I decided upon the exact number of years that should pass in-between. The ending itself follows “The Tempest,” and depicts Suletta and Miorine getting married and becoming partners.”
- Hiroshi Kobayashi
They are completely and unambiguously canon, and arguably were never decanonized to begin with given the literal text of the show.
An addendum to this: I’ve also seen a strange dismissal of the history that G-Witch pulls from.
The original Gundam inspired Revolutionary Girl Utena, with Lalah Sune in particular (the creator of an iconic Gundam archetype) serving as the inspiration for Anthy Himemiya. Gundam has had a queer fanbase for decades, and has had gay characters (with Yoshiyuki Tomino himself confirming this) since the 1990s.
G-Witch draws from Gundam’s extensive, genre-shaking history, classics like Utena and Rose of Versailles, and Shakespeare’s The Tempest. It brings Gundam and Utena’s connection full circle, and is in conversation with every Gundam series that came before it.
It’s unfair to dismiss it as just some random show, or — as I’ve seen some do — credit its open queerness to the influence of completely unrelated American media, as if Japan is utterly devoid of gay people.

Just saw a 13 year old call themselves "worthless fuck meat" and claim that their body is only made for a man's pleasure. Jesus Christ.
I feel nauseous. I don't even know what to say anymore. And to see full grown adults (people in their FIFTIES) message this kid, are you fucking kidding me????
Do parents give two fucks about their kids safety?? I will never understand parents not downloading parental controls onto their kid's phone. If you don't, you're a lazy and irresponsible parent. These parents don't deserve to have kids. It's your job to take care of them and to protect them from predators, and you're doing absolutely fucking nothing about it.

I'm not sure if I believe the "Wakaba Isshiki did unethical experiments" theory in the fandom, but I do think this is the biggest proof of it in-game:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because how the hell would she know that?
The first explanation is that she did experiments by sending people into palaces and then testing what happens to them if the palace collapses. Which is messed up for obvious reasons.
The second explanation is that she did NOT test it, meaning she was just making shit up. Which is funny but also would make her a terrible scientist. This explanation is less believable because everything else about her research is too accurate.
There's also a theory that Wakaba did unethical experiments on Akechi specifically. I'm not sure I believe that, since the evidence for it is pretty shallow (like the featherman game scientist experimenting on grey pigeon). But this scene is once again the biggest argument you could make for that theory. The researcher in the image above refers to palaces by their correct term 'palaces', which they say was based on Wakaba's research. But that's only something you would know with firsthand experience of the metaverse. And the only person they know who could access the metaverse was Akechi (that we know of, but i dont think Shido would rely only on Akechi if there were other options).
So yeah this scene is very sus. It's most likely the writers didn't think too deep about the implications. There's no way they wanted Futaba's mom to be sketchy, right? But even if it's not intentional, the scenes and their implications still exist. So in conclusion those theories make sense, I get it, and I don't blame anyone for headcanoning them and having fun. And tbh anyone involved with cognitive psience was portrayed as some degree of unethical (maruki for example), maybe this is just on-brand

You know you don’t have to make up non-textual reasons to dislike a character, right? You can just dislike the character just because. And you also realize that if there are textual reasons you dislike the character—like the character’s past or lack of on-screen time—you don’t have to make up more reasons to dislike said character, right? You can just leave it at, “I dislike him because of his past and I don’t think the show has developed him enough.”
You don’t have to write a meta about how you dislike a character, with your reasoning being “he’s a predator” and your evidence being “because gay men cheat and fail to use prophylactic measures” or “because he has a 10-year age gap with his 34 y/o boyfriend” or “because a teenager said he’s cool” or “because gay men aren’t actually gay; they’re bi and lie” or “because Buck is a hot young thang™️, and gay men only sleep around” or “Buck’s feelings were too ambiguous before he understood he liked men and Tommy forced himself on Buck.” Because then you’re no longer relying on textual evidence; you’re relying on homophobic stereotypes to justify your fanon interpretation of a gay character. And then you’re proceeding to “joke” about violently killing this fictional man because of these stereotypes.
THAT is the issue people are having. They don’t give a fuck you dislike Tommy; they care that you’re using real-life queerphobic stereotypes, tropes, and jokes to justify disliking him.
