out of curiosity, would you consider yourself butch?
used to be a blonde underweight twink and now I'm a based jock still got the chanel bag and the sick albeit matured mind of a suckpig to prove it so I'm gonna let you decide whether you wanna call me that word just cuz I got a pussy and short hair. I promise you that there have been enough advancements made in the art of lesbian sexual dynamics in the past 50 years to broaden the vocabulary used to describe the plethora of types of masculine females.

speaking of women in the death eaters, I always got the sense that it was a highly male-dominated group. the OG death eaters we see in slughorn's memory is very much a boy's club and the vast majority of known death eaters are male. there are two named women: bellatrix and alecto carrow. I definitely don't think women were barred from joining at all, it's just that there weren't many of them and typically they weren't high-ranking or inner circle. narcissa is obviously a sympathiser and aligned with the death eaters, but she's very much the wife of rather than being a death eater herself. I imagine this was common among the inner circle, and it makes sense with the DEs being a group that upholds conservative ideals.
alecto (and her brother) don't seem like high-ranking DEs to me. they weren't named personally by Voldemort at the graveyard, if they were there, and they never went to azkaban. I think their posting at Hogwarts might have had more to do with the fact that they weren't publicly known as death eaters at the time. also their dialogue reads as more working-class (i can't see lucius saying "skint" for instance lol) so they just aren't really inner circle material even though they have dark marks. they're foot soldiers.
bellatrix is THE exception, and I think this is important to her character. She wasn't content being a wife of like her sister, and I think she distinguished herself among the inner circle because of her talent, unwavering loyalty, closeness to voldemort, and the general terrifyingness of her. bellatrix is a much more significant and influential death eater than her husband, because she made it that way. snape, a half-blood who was skint himself, eventually became a trusted death eater for much the same reasons.

not to be a woman womaning all over the place but i feel like if you genuinely like. do not have friends that are women then you have something to work on. if you cant think of any female characters that you treat the same way you do male characters then you have something to work on. if you cant handle even seeing "i dont like being called a guy/bro/lad/etc because it doesnt feel gender neutral to me" but can understand when one of your masc besties is uncomfortable with being called girlie or sister then you have something to work on. if your default in regards to how you handle other people and even characters is to assume masculinity then you have something to work on. if you cant even let women and otherwise feminine people speak about our experiences without bringing up how you suffer too then you have something to work on.
it doesnt matter if youre queer or a poc or a minority in whatever which way, if you do not include women in your life and cant even stand a fucking inch of genuine feminism (and i dont mean terfs but god is it fucking agonizing that thats all you people can think of when you hear feminism anymore) where the point is to treat women, all women, equally then you have something to work on. listen to women, even the ones whose experiences completely dont align with yours (hell ESPECIALLY the ones whose experiences completely dont align with yours). just like how we all have to check ourselves for racism, ableism, queerphobia, we all have to check ourselves for misogyny too. stop acting like it got solved at some point. it still exists and it exists within you and you have to actually fucking work on that. "women should be included in your life and you should listen to them" shouldnt be a hard goddamn pill to swallow.

Meet “. . .” Said outloud is “Ellipses” or Ellie.
They are mute. (No I did not intentionally name them Ellipses because of that. But I like to think they gave themselves that name to be funny.)
They communicate through meme audios that come from the speakers on their head, emotes/emoticons on their visor also a words sometimes, and through ASL.
I love them a lot and literally made them in like 2 days which is the fastest I have every sped ran a character.

i am not anti sam but i sometimes find myself hating sam because some samgirls are super into bio/gender essentialism whether or not they realize it. sam is a woman and dean is a man and sam is the victim and dean is his abuser like what show are you watching?

I need to experience this before I die.
I want to be stalked, followed home by some girls dressed just like this, tied up & taken away wherever they plan to take me. I mean, yea I might put up a little fight but I’ll let them win if they bring the right tools to persuade me to cooperate (🔫🔪)
I’m not the sub you manhandle, I’m the kinda sub you outsmart. Women are smarter than men, right? Prove it to me 😩

i'm very sorry to say this, but meiri, you are a foul woman for making me (a lonely lesbian) lust for a gender bent version of a canonically male character.....keep going 👍
in a more just world there would be no more male characters and the female characters would be as diverse as them. in a just world a female character would be a 197cm tall bald lying secretive corpse-desecrator who would attack her childhood friend and almost-adopted-sister on sight, spitting in her face that it was she who slept by their mentor's feet like a dog. in a just world a female character would be a vaguely futchy¹ bipolar alcoholic who tries to self-immolate in front of you, participated in a colleague's murder with her sister (or did she?), delirious from guilt, illness and drink (and it NOT being the "sexualized crazywoman" trope. because she'd be worse), whose sister would be protective of her like a rabid dog. in a just world a female character could be a brown-eyed brunette in a tacky snakeskin coat, arrogant, haughty until circumstances beyond her comprehension break her spirit, able and willing to tell someone that if they're that much of a pussy about killing themself she'll fucking help. in a just world a female character could be butcher [as in the cutter of meat.], daughter of butcher, feared for her perceived violence but not more wicked than any other, collecting organs and keeping them in her little pouch.
but it is not a just world. so fine. (rolls up sleeves) i'll do it myself.
¹ the butch-femme scale is not real and therefore "futch" or "futchy" isn't either. however that is a really funny word for a joke

girls be saying “my baby girl<3” and it's a full-grown, nearly feral man who's committed several atrocities and would kill a person in cold blood.
love it
