Hello hello! not sure if your requests are open.. but IF they are I have something interesting for Meliodas and Elizabeth.
so we, the reader, is in a relationship with the both of them. not cheating or anything it’s a poly relationship! And we are really content with our relationship. We aren’t insecure, we don’t care about what anyone else has to say about it, we love both our partners, but after awhile we start to feel like they don’t love us as much as they say they do.. in fact we start to slowly think they love each other that much and not us *it’s all in our head tho lol OFC they love us*. We start to slowly feel left out, left behind, not good enough, so we start to pull away from them- but we never once state what’s wrong but after awhile of this torment we randomly break things off with the both of them and we don’t give them a clue as in to why.
you can decide if eventually the 3 of us actually manage to talk it out to solve this “issue” or not… or if it ends kinda bittersweet yk with us not wanting to get back together but staying close friends with them both.
Leaving a Poly Relationship HCs (Meliodas & Elizabeth)

Tbh you always knew it was bound to happen given the fact that they’re uhhh….y’know
Fated and cursed lovers LMAO
But it just kinda hit you suddenly that they’re perfect for each other, and really only just “good” with you
Of course, they never meant it or meant to hurt you, but it’s just how things goes
It was really surprising to the two of them when you decided to make the clean break
Elizabeth was extremely desperate for a while and tried to get you back
While Meliodas was quick to understand that this was probably the best choice and that he needed to respect your decisions (even if he hated it)
Still, all three of you were broken up about it for a little while
And it really took your friends being supportive of all of you for things to go back to normal
Eventually, your relationship with them mended a little, but you decided to leave the poly-relationship for good
Although you can still remain friends, that distance you felt originally never went away- even when they were trying to get you back for a little bit
Truthfully, only time will tell if you made the correct decision
But although you’re all a little miserable and feeling a little less whole now, you’re all very capable of being happy and that’s what matters
Besides, as much as you adored them- they were the ones meant to be with each other
You were just a blip in time in their relationship and there’s nothing you can say or do that will ever change that

𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐙𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐬'𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.
I don’t think it was ever mentioned that Meliodas and Zeldris had a mom and weren’t just created directly by the Demon King, but I’m a firm believer they did have a mother—she just "disappeared" under some weird circumstances.
I mean, this is just my headcanon.
I mean, it’s pretty much certain they had a mother, and she spoiled them a lot when they were little kids—even when they were already strong, she kept doting on them. Back then, the Demon Realm had some level of peace because she managed to keep the Demon King in check. But everything fell apart when she suddenly disappeared. That’s when Meliodas became emotionally distant, Zeldris shut himself off, and the Demon King lost what little sanity he had left, turning completely cruel.
I also feel like things would’ve been different with Estarossa. I mean, when Gowther messed with everyone’s memories to make it all fit, he made Estarossa into an excessively spoiled brat. He probably did that because he knew Ygraine’s (Meliodas’ mother) personality and how she was with her kids. So, in this version, Estarossa really became a pampered kid, doted on by his mom because he didn’t have his own darkness. For years, he lived under her protection until his father, out of pity and after hearing her pleas, gave him a small amount of darkness to help him survive.
But when his mother disappeared, he completely fell apart. He couldn’t control his memories, and sometimes he’d feel like things were happening in his head that weren’t real. He would have panic attacks, desperately missing his mom, and his mind would create fake images where she rejected him, just like his father and Zeldris did.

Ygraine loved children, and the fact that she was now the mother of three little boys filled her with pure joy. She adored dedicating all her time to them—watching them grow and change brought her an indescribable warmth that overflowed into absolute happiness
When her firstborn, Meliodas, came into the world, Ygraine was overcome with joy, though tinged with sadness. Having a child meant she had to give up her responsibilities as the Commandment of Love—a frustrating reality. Yet, the thought of caring for the child who had grown inside her for months made her feel radiant. Her joy only grew as the Demon King himself often visited to check on her and the baby. Sometimes, he’d even stay in her chambers, sitting silently as Ygraine cradled little Meliodas in her arms, singing lullabies she made just for him. The Demon King never held the baby, only watching from a distance, but for Ygraine, these moments were precious. The mere thought of the great monarch sharing these small, intimate moments with her and her son filled her with immense happiness.
These sweet moments lasted for years, through Meliodas’s infancy and early childhood, until Ygraine became pregnant with their second child, Estarossa. His birth, however, brought disappointment to the Demon King, who felt no demonic power emanating from the boy. The monarch’s disgust for his own son was no secret—whispers and laughter spread through the Demon Realm about the “useless” prince. Many believed the Demon King would discard Ygraine for birthing such a defective child. Yet, he didn’t. Out of love for Ygraine and her devotion to Estarossa, he silenced every rumor and allowed the boy to live.
For Ygraine, it was different. From the moment she first held little Estarossa—or “Rossa,” as she lovingly called him—she was utterly captivated. The boy was a perfect blend of her and the Demon King, a sight that made her fall in love with him instantly. His small, fragile form awakened a protective instinct in her. She vowed to shield him from anyone and anything—even his father and older brother if necessary.
Now, Ygraine found herself in a quiet, desolate corner of the human realm with her youngest, Estarossa, while Meliodas trained under Chandler. Taking advantage of their solitude, she stepped outside with her baby to enjoy a bit of fresh air
The wind brushed against her face as the sun’s gentle rays warmed her skin. It was calming, a brief escape from her worries. She felt the soft, insistent tug of Estarossa feeding, occasionally biting down lightly, sending small jolts of pain through her. She chose to ignore the discomfort, focusing instead on her baby’s sweet face.
“You know, Rossa,” she began, her voice gentle, “I talked to your father, and he’s agreed to give you a little bit of demonic magic to make you stronger. Isn’t that amazing?”
The baby paused his feeding to stare at her with wide, curious eyes. He didn’t understand her words, but seeing her happy made him giggle, trying to mimic her smile.
“Yes, my love, it’s wonderful,” Ygraine laughed softly. “You should smile about it too. It took a bit of convincing—your father’s so grumpy, you know—but I’m sure, deep down, he loves us.”
She chuckled at her own words, her voice light and warm.
“I think you get me, don’t you? I’m sure you do. So maybe I should stop calling your father grumpy—he’s just… tough, that’s all. But don’t worry, sweet boy. Mama’s here, for you and Meliodas. To protect you, to spoil you both so much that you’ll forget how grumpy he can be.”
Tumblr media
A now older Estarossa rested on his mother’s lap as Ygraine shifted to make herself more comfortable, her growing belly making it difficult. She lovingly stroked his hair, listening attentively as her son excitedly recounted what Meliodas had taught him. He spoke with wide-eyed admiration, his voice filled with awe.
"Then my big brother took his sword and sliced that nasty goddess clean in half, just like that, without even trying! And after that, all the others around her ran off scared!" Estarossa exclaimed, his small hands gesturing dramatically as he described the scene.
He hesitated for a moment before adding, "Oh, and he told me not to tell you about it… that he took me to see him kill that goddess, 'cause you might get mad."
As the boy kept talking, realization dawned on him. His words had spilled out too fast, and he’d let something slip that he shouldn’t have. Panic flickered in his eyes, and tears began to form. The thought of disappointing his older brother filled him with dread, and he looked up at his mother, his expression wavering between guilt and fear.
Ygraine fought the urge to laugh. The situation was amusing—her sweet little Rossa, so used to sharing everything with her, had accidentally revealed too much and was now on the verge of a meltdown. Though she was genuinely annoyed that Meliodas had exposed her younger son to such violence despite her warnings, there was something endearing about Estarossa’s childlike honesty and the way he was now drowning in nerves over betraying his brother's trust.
She softened her expression, placing a gentle hand on his cheek to calm him. "It’s okay, my little Rossa. Your brother won’t be mad because I won’t tell him you told me, alright? So don’t worry—this will be our little secret. Do we have a deal?"
She pulled the young boy into her lap fully, resting his head against her chest as she ran her fingers through his soft silver hair.
"Are you sure, Mommy? Please, don’t tell him! If he gets mad, he won’t take me with him anymore," Estarossa whimpered, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"I promise, my love," she said warmly, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead. "It’ll be our secret. You know your mother keeps all your secrets, no matter how strange or unexpected they are."
Without another word, Estarossa threw his arms around her, clutching her tightly in an embrace full of love and gratitude. Ygraine smiled softly, holding her son close, her hand gently stroking his back to soothe him.
"Don’t you worry, my little Rossa," she whispered. "You’ll always have me to protect you."

Meliodas
Tumblr media
His father had truly beaten him this time. The great monarch had apparently decided that Meliodas was now strong enough to train directly with him and put him to the test. Summoning his eldest son, the Demon King launched relentless attacks—using different forms of magic and striking from all angles. At first, Meliodas managed to block a few blows, but the sheer intensity quickly drained him. Even as his energy faded, the attacks didn’t stop, leaving him battered and bleeding with deep wounds scattered across his small frame.
"I thought you were strong enough to defend yourself. Chandler praises you too much. Go heal yourself," the Demon King’s booming, weighty voice echoed across the training grounds.
Meliodas, still barely more than an infant, had only begun the second stage of his life a few months ago. Though he was strong enough to venture into the outside world, the harshness of his father’s words shook him. His small hands trembled as he forced himself to stand, his body aching.
"Yes, Father. I’m sorry I’m not strong enough," he replied, his voice wavering as he held back tears. He knew crying would only make things worse.
From the sidelines, Ygraine had watched the entire ordeal. Her heart ached with every blow her husband had delivered to her sweet boy. Ignoring the Demon King’s attempts to speak to her, she fixed him with a glare and rushed to Meliodas. Without hesitation, she scooped him into her arms, cradling his small, injured body close to her chest. Her steps were quick as she made her way back to their chambers, her mind racing with worry.
"YOU WENT TOO FAR THIS TIME!" she shouted, her voice laced with both anger and fear. "You need to let Meliodas rest! I’ll train him myself."
The Demon King, unbothered, frowned as he replied, "You spoil him too much, Ygraine. He’s my heir—he must be strong, no matter the cost."
"Please," Ygraine pleaded, desperation in her voice. "Just let me train him until he’s healed. That’s all I ask."
Her words hung heavy in the air. For a moment, the Demon King seemed to weigh her plea before sighing, his tone sharp with irritation. "Lately, all you do is beg me for things—ever since Estarossa’s birth, it’s been one ridiculous request after another. But fine. This will be the last time I give in to you. Train him yourself until he recovers."
Without waiting for a response, he turned and left. Ygraine wasted no time, hurrying back to her chambers with her son limp in her arms.
Later, she lay on her bed, Meliodas’s small frame resting on her chest as she gently ran her fingers through his blonde hair. Her magic flowed softly into his body, easing his pain and helping heal the wounds left by his father’s brutality. Beside them, little Estarossa slept peacefully, curled up with his head resting against her side.
"My sweet boy," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Mama’s going to protect you from your father, even if it costs me my life. I’ll do everything I can to keep you safe."
Half-conscious, Meliodas stirred, his small hands gripping her tightly as he mumbled in a fragile voice, "D-Don’t say that, Mommy… I’ll get really strong, and I’ll protect you. And I’ll protect Estarossa too."
Ygraine’s heart swelled at his words, though tears pricked the corners of her eyes. She kissed his head softly and replied, "Of course you will, my brave boy. But for now, let your mama protect both of you."
With that, she held both her sons close, their warmth bringing her a fleeting sense of peace. Deciding to spend the coming weeks doting on her boys, she closed her eyes, vowing to help Meliodas heal—not just physically, but from the weight of his father’s cruelty.

ZELDRIS
Tumblr media
The little Zeldris had only been born a few days ago, but in that short time, he had become utterly attached to his mother, refusing to be separated from her for even a minute. Every time someone tried to take him away from Queen Ygraine so she could rest, the tiny, dark-haired prince would burst into an unbearable cry that would shatter the eardrums of anyone nearby.
Yet, despite the exhaustion and weakness she had felt from the beginning to the end of her pregnancy, the queen didn't seem bothered by it. Even when she felt like she might collapse, the sound of her youngest prince's cries brought her a strange sense of joy. So, she would muster all her strength, trying every method she could to soothe him, succeeding for brief moments before his emerald eyes—the same as her firstborn's—would fill with fear again, only to be calmed by the sound of her voice.
"What is it, Zeldris? Why are you crying like this? Are you afraid of something, my prince?" she asked softly, her gaze warm and gentle. The baby looked at her attentively, as though he were trying to memorize every detail of her face.
"Why do you look at me so intently? I know your mother is beautiful, but you seem to be studying me quite seriously, little prince," she chuckled softly, her voice filled with affection.
"It seems I’m talking to myself, since you can’t fully understand me yet. But no matter. It looks like you still enjoy my voice, don’t you?" she smiled at him, rocking him gently in her arms, hoping to lull him into sleep, even if it was just for a few minutes, so that she too could get some rest.
"Now, let your mommy sleep for a little while. We’ll talk more later."
Tumblr media
At this point, Zeldris was around 10 years old, and despite being a small child, he possessed immense magical power that filled both his father and mother with pride. His mother, in particular, was especially proud of her three princes.
She spent every day by his side, as her weakened condition didn’t allow her to do much. On good days, she could barely get out of bed, and even something as simple as helping her little son change his clothes was a great effort. Despite her limitations, she tried to pamper Zeldris, making sure he didn’t feel like she loved him any less. Whenever the young prince came home from training, she would heal his wounds, lying next to him and singing lullabies to help him relax and fall asleep, just as she had done when he was an infant—still the same child who felt lost when away from her.
"Mom, are you really okay? You look so tired. I can heal my wounds myself, or I can ask Meliodas to do it," Zeldris said, his young face full of concern.
"I'm fine, my prince. You know your mom is a little weak right now, but don't worry. I'll take care of your wounds, and then we can go out of the castle to see the animals in the human world," she said, her words strained. Even speaking left her lungs feeling like they were on fire.
"There's no need. I can go by myself so you don’t get tired," Zeldris offered, still worried about his mother’s health.
"No, we’re going together. I’m fine," Ygraine insisted. Zeldris knew it wasn’t wise to contradict his mother, so he finally fell silent, choosing to accept her decision.
However, when his mother left her room to head to her own chambers to change into something more comfortable and fetch her medicine—prepared by the magicians of Belialuin, who claimed it would cure the queen—Zeldris never imagined it would be the last time he’d see her. Hours passed as he waited for her to return, but she never came back. Eventually, curiosity and unease got the better of him, and he stepped out of his room, only to find the entire kingdom in chaos.
Everyone seemed to be in a state of hysteria, even his father, who rarely displayed any emotion. Zeldris couldn’t understand what was happening until he overheard one of the guards whispering to another that Queen Ygraine had vanished without a trace. No one had seen her leave the kingdom, or even her chambers. There was no sign of her, and no one could explain how such a thing had happened.
Hearing this broke Zeldris’s young heart. A crushing wave of guilt overwhelmed him as he thought, If only I had gone with her… if only I hadn’t let her go alone, she might still be here.
From that day forward, the peace and warmth that once existed in the Demon Realm disappeared completely. Even for the king’s own children, life became harsher. The once-distant but tolerable father they knew seemed to transform into someone unrecognizably cruel. Under the guise of "making them stronger," he treated Meliodas, Zeldris, and even Estarossa with merciless coldness.
Now it seemed as though he hated them. Zeldris watched in shock as his father even went so far as to threaten to strip Estarossa of the magic power their mother had begged for months to have bestowed upon him. It was as if with Ygraine’s disappearance, whatever humanity and softness the Demon King had possessed had vanished as well, leaving only bitterness and cruelty behind.

I found this in my drafts :)
Before he was Mael the Archangeal, Mael of the Sun Grace, the Angel of Death greatly feared upon by the demons, he was just Mael. Simple, scared, weak Mael who admired his brother and aspired to be just like him, a fierce warrior for the goddess clan. Even though he was small, and he couldn't fight as well as other goddesses, and though he was teased, his brother always said that one day, he'd be one of the strongest goddesses ever. But one day was too far into the future, a long long time to wait. Sariel, though small himself, jeered him for imitating Ludociel, said he'd have to be his own person, then Elizabeth stepped in. Kind, sweet, caring, determined, beautiful Elizabeth. Elizabeth, who despite his own weak efforts of fighting, never lost faith in him. They'd spend days together lounging on clouds, laughing and talking and she would smile and the world would brighten. Weak, small Mael of the goddess clan had the support of Ludociel, leader of the 4 archangaels, and Elizabeth, the daughter of the Supreme Deity, and that was enough.  Mael was unsure when that solid friendship grew to attraction for the girl, yet as he grew, becoming eager for battle and the slaughter of demons, she smiled less whenever he spoke of the massacre of the enemy race. But she was there, kind to him, still laughing with him, and Mael felt- -he felt happy.  Elizabeth, the girl who'd taught him more than she'd ever realise, who hugged people for the sake of it, who's laugh would make his stomach tingle, who had a gleam in her eyes that was a deep fire,  Elizabeth would never realise how deep his feelings issued. The one day soon arrived, he was bestowed his grace, one of sunshine, and a few battles later, was known throughout the demon realm as the Angel of Death. The Angel of Death and Blood-stained Ellie go well together, he thought.  Though, he felt as Elizabeth was holding bsck in battle. He'd seen through training how much power she contained-it was expected, of course- she was a force to be reckoned with. But against those demons in fights, she changed from mercilessly killing to maybe even leaving halfway. He didnt care. She was alive, happy, still smiling, still his friend, and Mael would do anything for her love to be directed his way. Unlikely, very unlikely, so stupidly unlikely because even he wasnt that lucky but he hoped.  Then he saw her with that demon, and his heart, along with the brightness in the world, shattered and dimmed.

My Body is One Big Ache
Takes place sometime between getting King back and finding Gowther.)
“So the spell that hit you temporarily limits the effects of the Fountain of Youth,” King says sullenly.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Ban asks.
“It means that nothing’s gonna kill you, but it’s not gonna completely get rid of the pain.”
“Well that sucks,” Meliodas says. “Well, guess that means you’re stuck in the tavern tending to the guests.”
“Not that you should ever be doing that,” Ban mutters. “But I’ll do that, Captain. How long will this last?”
“Hopefully only for a couple of days. I can’t be sure though.”
“Great, he’s unsure.”
“Shut up, Ban! At least I know what’s going on.”
“Fair enough.”
After Ban makes everyone breakfast and Diane once again complaining that she can’t eat inside with everyone, Meliodas gets up.
“Well, we’re going out for supplies now!” Meliodas calls out. “You and King behave, Ban! And make sure to treat the customers well!”
Ban waves his hand dismissively at Meliodas as he leaves with Elizabeth and Hawk.
“Bye, Sir Ban! Bye, Sir King!” Elizabeth says.
“Bye, Elizabeth!” King calls back.
“Bye, Princess!” Ban shouts. “Don’t have too much fun while you’re gone!”
King facepalms and Ban laughs.
Customers start rolling in and King does all of the interacting with them since Ban absolutely hates doing that. King seems to be having a fine time, so Ban doesn’t worry about it. He burns himself twice and now his hands ache. It quiets down after three hours, so Ban comes out from the kitchen.
“They were weird,” King says. “The ones that sat at the counter and the ones that talked to the people at the counter.”
Ban shrugs. “People are weird. Were they rude to you?”
“No, not really.”
Ban sits down. “Then it’s not a problem.”
“I feel like it is. They were talking about somebody from another kingdom and not in a good way. What if they’re gonna hurt someone?”
“Not our problem,” Ban says as he grabs a drink.
After a few minutes of arguing about Ban drinking on the job, they hear a window shatter. Ban puts the drink down and pokes his head into the kitchen.
“There’s a rock in the kitchen.”
King and Ban head outside to see a mob gathering outside.
“What is going on?” Ban asks.
King turns around and Ban glances in the direction. People are blocking the doorway. The townspeople start throwing things at Ban and King, who just have to take the onslaught since they are not allowed to get caught and can’t go back inside. A frying pan smacks Ban in the side of the head and he starts cursing under his breath. One smacks King in the forehead and Ban forces himself not to laugh as King stumbles back, his sacred treasure keeping him from falling. They’re shouting racist slurs as they throw things, but they’re not directed at fairies.
“It’s for me?” Ban asks. “That’s new.”
Since he was not paying enough attention, a knife finds its way into Ban’s side. Pain flashes through him, more than usual. Ban pulls it out and covers the spot with his hand.
“King, I just got stabbed,” Ban whispers.
Chastiefol floats over to cover him. King raises a hand to force them to stop and Ban grabs his wrist.
“Not worth it,” Ban says. “Let them tire themselves out. That or you can force the people away from the door so we can go inside.”
King turns and forces the people away from the door. The two go inside and lock the door. It takes a while, but the mob disperses. Ban sits down on the couch and leans his head back.
“That was rough,” King says as he floats over on Chastiefol.
“That’s an understatement,” Ban replies. “Like a major one.”
King shrugs.
“Ugh, this sucks. I hurt now.”
“Yeah, that’s what normally happens when people throw blunt objects at you. Did the stab wound heal?”
Ban pulls his jacket back. “Yeah, that’s a cute little pink rash.”
“Rash?” King asks.
“Yeah, just where the wound was. It’ll go away when my powers come back properly, hopefully,” Ban answers.
“It should. Does it hurt?”
Ban shakes his head. “Aches, just like everywhere else.”
King nods, then the two settle into comfortable silence. Ban focuses on finding a position to sit in that isn’t uncomfortable while King just lazily floats around on Chastiefol. They stay like that for ten minutes until everyone returns home.
“What are you two doing?” Meliodas asks.
“Resting,” King answers. “You would not believe the afternoon we had. We got assaulted by the townspeople because they’re racist. And it wasn’t even at me. They thought Ban was from a different kingdom due to his appearance. Wait, is Diane back with you guys?”
Meliodas nods. “She’s outside with Elizabeth.”
King floats outside.
“How’s being mostly normal been, Ban?” Meliodas asks.
“I got hit in the head with a frying pan earlier, Captain,” Ban answers. “My body is literally one big ache.”
“But nobody stabbed you.”
Ban flashes back to the knife that got him earlier. He doesn’t wanna explain that nobody saw that he healed magically, so he decides to run with it.
“Yeah. Positives.”
Meliodas sits down next to Ban while Hawk heads into the kitchen with the supplies. “You get along with King?”
Ban nods. “He was fine. He got hit with a pan too.”
Ban and Meliodas share a laugh.
“I’m glad that you two are getting along.”
Ban shrugs. “If King wasn’t so hoity-toity, we’d get along better.”
“I disagree. I think the hoity-toity is good for you. Keeps you mostly straight.”
“You really think so?”
Meliodas nods.
“Eh, whatever you say, Captain. I’m gonna go to bed. See ya later.”
Ban gets up and heads upstairs. Ban lays down and closes his eyes, determined to sleep off the ache. But the ache makes it hard to fall asleep. He hears the door open.
“Ban, you asleep?” King asks.
“Obviously not,” Ban answers, opening his eyes. “I’m not snoring.”
“Fair.”
King floats over to the bed and sits down on the edge. “Sorry about earlier.”
“Don’t sweat it, King. Everyone’s racist.”
“I just didn’t know if it would upset you.”
“Nothing they’re gonna do is gonna upset me.”
King nods. “Alright.”
King floats over to his hammock and settles down. The two sit in comfortable silence until Ban finally dozes off.
