The white people of the ACOTAR fandom are odd. Like no offense to the ones that are chill but others need to chill. Those who think Feyre is in the right to fuck up the Spring Court are just ew. Imagine if someone destroyed your country with the idea of revenge in mind, multiple homes get destroyed in the process because war is on the horizon. You have to flee into other Courts so you can be safe and leave your original home behind, not knowing if you will ever come back because of what that person did. Sounds familiar?
What makes this even worse is that SJM is a zionist and what Israel is doing to Palestine is what Feyre did to the Spring Court. She can write her ideologies into her books and people can act like it's fine when it's not!
I'm a person of color, a black woman. Imagine how some black readers found out how A Court of Silver Flames was promoted. If you aren't aware, Sarah took the death of Breonna Taylor, a 26 year old African American woman who was fatally shot by a cop. It's STILL on her Instagram page, just keep scrolling until you find it.
BITCH YOU COULD'VE MAKE ANOTHER POST, ADDRESSING IT BUT NO. I LOVE NESTA BUT BROTHER UGH. The vibe of it is nice but...
The black community is always targeted when it comes to police brutality. This is one of the traumas in our community that we have to deal with, even in modern times where everyone is supposed to be "free". Have we not struggled enough?
It disgusts me that some authors (mainly white authors) will take the pain of a community and use it for their book(s). Or authors that can write a book with a character that will rise up to fight back against the oppressors and still support Israel.
Illyrians in ACOTAR are portrayed as violent, savages, and warmongers. They're apparently supposed to be POC codded, are you fucking kidding me? Is this supposed to be a diss towards brown and black people? Maybe even the indigenous? Feyre wears Illyrian wings like bitch, wear another type of wings. Her or Rhysand haven't done shit for Illyria and while the woman gets their wings clipped, Feyre can fly all she wants.
Imagine how Emerie will feel when she finds out.
Don't get me started on Feyre's hand tattoos. It might just be me but why is this white girl wearing that? Take that off bro. In this world, it's called Mehndi, the traditional art of painting your hands, feet, or the body with paste. In Arabic, what we call it is Henna. It's used in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. Like the designs are pretty but I don't want to see the human born, turned fae wearing it. TAKE IT OFF, WHITE GIRL. And another thing, why was Feyre acting like that towards the humans in ACOFAS? You forget where you came from, girlie pop but anyways.
Kendrick Lamar's song Euphoria is me towards the ACOTAR series and SJM. Sarah looks like a nice lady but she's fake as hell.
If you want to read SJM's books, try buying it from a used bookstore or somewhere online that doesn't connect to her. You can download PDFs or read them online.
It's crazy when I see a black person reading her books. On Tik Tok, I saw Jordan Fisher talking about how he's a fan like babes. I love him but...
Me when SJM fans (especially the black fans:

early 2000ās desi!johnny cade.
obsessed with all of the classic bollywood movies.
i mean this era was the best for bollywood.
his favorites are kuch kuch hota hai, khabi khushi khabi gham, (these next few are late 2000ās but shh) jab we met, toonpur ka superrhero, and om shanti om.
bought the soundtracks for all of them.
late 90ās and early 2000ās was a big time for punjabi immigrants, so itās possible he couldāve had more family or punjabi/desi friends.
iād say he would be more open about his culture, because way less racism compared to the 60ās.
like heād be more comfortable wearing kurta pajamas or things like that outside of his house or mostly brown functions.
heās still sorta quiet about his culture, but not whitewashed.
iām pretty sure it was said in the book that johnny would stay at two-bitās house more than the curtisā so i bet two-bit probably saw johnny in his element a lot.
like he would see johnny wearing shawls or kurtaās the most out of the gang.
also he put the mathews family onto punjabi snacks, like gulab jamun, matri, bhujia, samosas, etc.
his absolute favorite is chaat, but he doesnāt eat it much because he doesnāt know how to make it.
he always has some mehndi design on him, just for the fun of it.
usually really simple designs.
going back to the movie thing, since tulsa is a pretty big town, i think it would have at least one bollywood theatre.
so, heāll go watch the new movies when they come out, and sometimes ponyboy will come with him.
if the movie doesnāt have subtitles heāll have to ask johnny whats going on every so often.
thats all i got rn šš¾

Jegulus Headcanon Mini Fic #1/?
Regulus loves watching James apply Mehndi.
He loves the way Jamesā face screws up in concentration; loves watching his hands expertly swirling and dotting the dark ink onto his skin with the delicate applicator pen; loves the way the fact that James creates abstract designs with so much emotion; and most of all he loves that James has shared this part of himself with Regulus.
James has always been the most secretive open book. He gives the perfect pieces of himself away to everyone freely; his smile, his laugh, his humour, and his love. But he hides more of himself away than he shows. The darker, imperfect, breakable parts of himself he keeps under a tight wrap. The world around him can reject his love, ignore his smile, and not laugh at his jokes without hurting him. Regulus isnāt sure when exactly James started hiding his art; when he started moving his henna away from the outside world on his hands and started hiding it underneath his trouser legs and socks, but he certainly has an idea of why James would keep it locked tight to his chest and guard it fiercely. The world is a rotten place and tries to smother beauty in all forms. Merlin help the sorry son of a bitch who ever tried to smother Jamesā beauty should Regulus ever get his hands on them.
So it comes as quite the surprise when, as their combined groups are all sitting around the lake, James reaches into his bag for his henna pen and looks at Regulus with a grin, āCan I?ā
Heās not even really sure what James is asking, but heāll give him the world if thatās what he asked, thereās really no thinking involved before heās telling James yes. It doesnāt really click in his brain until James has rolled up Regulusā left sleeve to his elbow, placed his forearm on his lap, and hunched over the way he always does when he does his own mehndi and sets to work. Theyāve nowhere to be, the lot of them have finished the last of their exams and most everyone, excluding Barty and Sirius, have already packed their trunks in preparation for the summer. The weather in Scotland seems to be in their favour for once, and half of their misfit group seems to be asleep in the warm sunlight. Itās a peaceful sort of quiet between them all
The first touch of ink to his skin is cold. It makes him jump just a bit before he settles. James draws a broken line straight down the centre of his arm, from the inside of his elbow to the start of his palm, and begins his meticulous process of creating some of the most intricate and beautiful art heās ever seen. The ink is vibrant in a way Regulus doesnāt expect against his pale skin compared to Jamesā much darker complexion. On James, the ink seeps deep into his skin, a beautiful red hue left behind when it dries and falls away. On Regulus, the ink is on such a pale canvas of skin, heās sure it will look like someoneās taken an ink quill to him with how dark it is.
Admittedly, heās paying far less attention to what James is drawing in favour of just watching him and his hands work a type magic heāll never truly understand the significance behind, despite his many hours of research and observations since moving to the Potterās residence last April. If he had been paying any attention to what James was doing for the last several hours, he likely wouldnāt have had such an intense reaction to seeing it. Among the myriad perfectly placed dots of ink, the laid lines connecting into mandalas, and the swooping and swirling spirals, rests a sun and a moon.
The moon is lower on his arm, resting just above his wrist in the first break of the line down the centre. Itās half crescent shape swoops and connects at its tips, continuing the line with no trace of it ever stopping. The craters are created by varying deposits of ink, some filled in solid, others with small swirls inside them, and others made into flowers. There is a lot of negative space on this end of his arm, the lines wrapping horizontally around his wrist are made three dimensional by its contrast. The topside of his arm is covered in a mandala flower, but the moon on the inside of his arm is largely the focus, the simpler designs supporting the larger piece, but not drawing attention away from it.
The sun, is placed higher on his arm, nearing his elbow with the rays beaming into different designs around it. He can follow the lines of the rays; theyāre thicker than the others in the outer designs. They crisscross and intersect the other linework, standing out just enough to be seen, but not overpower the rest of the work. His eyes are drawn all around his arm, until his mind fully connects the dotsā¦literally.
Attached to the sunās rays are the Canis Major and Leo constellations. Canis Major is on the left side of his arm and tilted upward so its nose is on the outside of his elbow and its legs feed into ļæ¼bold lattice lines, with thick swirls, bold mandalas, and other loud designs. The Leo constellation connects to the sun by the Regulus star. The other rays donāt reach its other stars. In fact, the sweeping, wispy lines of the lionās mane make it seem as though Leo is recoiling from the sun, but Regulus is keeping it tethered there. The Regulus star is the only bold part of the design. The right side of his arm is filled with gentle brushing lines, blooming flowers, softer, lighter, and more careful swoops and swirls, and tighter and tinier loops. Both sides of his arm are so full of life and love, but theyāre so different from one another.
Regulus has no idea how to respond to the amount of emotion welling within besides grabbing James by his tie and snogging the life out of him. The older boyās muffled laughter against his lips spreads a warmth through him that not even the actual sun could.
Itās that warm feeling and the feeling of happiness and safety heās so unaccustomed to feeling that makes him whisper the words heās been practicing for months against Jamesā lips, āMain tuhanu pyar karda haan,ā I love you.
The look of surprise in Jamesā eyes as he reels back from Regulusā lips is so real and genuine and sweet. It physically hurts Regulusā heart that learning five simple words in Punjabi is enough to make James look like this, the way heās acting as though Regulus has done something so good and amazing.
āSay it again,ā James whispers, choking on the words, āSay it again, please,ā
āMain tuhanu pyar karda haan,ā Regulus whispers back, praying to Merlin and all the Fates he hasnāt completely butchered the pronunciation.
He neednāt worry, though. James is crashing their lips together in a clumsy kiss, one that has more feelings than what can be communicated with words of any language. When they part, a slow, pleased smile curls around Jamesā lips and his eyes close on their own accord for a long moment. Their foreheads are pressed together. Theyāre sharing the same breath. Jamesā dark brown eyes meet his icy blue ones, the gold flecks in them shimmering in the bright sunlight of the afternoon, Regulusā whole world is narrowed down to those eyes.
āMain vi tuhanu pyar karda haan,ā I love you too. James says, his voice no more than a sigh across Regulusā lips, āKi tu apni sari umar mere naal bitayengi?ā Will you be mine forever?
His Punjabi skills are not nearly as good as he wished them to be, but he didnāt need to be fluent to know that he would never be able to deny James of anything he asked him in that reverent, breathless voice.
āYes,ā

This is what I did tonight when I sat down to write;
Ed's henna was fun to design, though, so I did enjoy the time I spent.
Believe it or not, Ed being able to turn invisible isnāt from TOH nor ITSV, it's actually inspired from an old MLP fanfic called Background Pony. It's a somewhat bleak fic but so is my work and that story has been one of my favourites forā¦. maybe two years now?
āāāā-
While Ed had seen henna and mehndi art from time to time when growing up in Resembool, given its proximity to Ishvall, he'd only really gotten a chance to wear it once or twice in his childhood (curtesy of one of the many people who decided to watch out for the town's resident stewards).
Once William (Envy) becomes a part of his life and decides to teach Ed about their heritage, Ed is reintroduced to henna and decides that he rather likes having it. He canāt apply it himself (as he doesnāt wear the automail art by that point, although I will likely have him start sporting a prosthetic similar to what is seen in CoS) and he takes a fair amount of liberties with the medium, but it is fun.
(Yes, I am projecting. I didnāt learn about my middle eastern heritage until I was eighteen and my grandfather was literally from Lebanon.)
William gifts Ed an archeology book containing illustrations of henna art and styles, which Ed proceeds to use or inspiration whenever Kit (03 Wrath) or Nina agree to use him as a sentient canvas. Kit uses primarily floral or thermal designs (mainly vines or snow), weaving them to work with Ed's homunculus markings and spanning the length of Ed's whole arm rather than just the hand.
Nina, being the artsy wee lass she is, sticks more strictly with illustrations. Her work is more geometric in shape as well as generally more defined.

Sangeet strips are one of my favorite types of henna. I get to create freehand designs for each guest not knowing anything about their preferences that might influence the art. In this way I am able to create whatever comes to me but it always amazes me how each client is absolutely in love with their piece. Often times letting me know that an element I included in their henna was special to them for some reason. I think it all comes down to human connection. I donāt really know how to explain it but sometimes I just get a vibe from a person which influences my design choices. . . . How to plan your wedding in a simple way
Planning a wedding is no easy feat, especially if youāre looking to do it in a simple way. With the help of event organisers in Hyderabad and corporate event organisers, you can have the wedding of your dreams without any problems. In this blog post, we'll go over all the steps you need to take in order to plan your wedding in a simple way. From booking vendors to creating a budget, we'll make sure that your wedding planning is as stress-free as possible. So, keep reading to learn more about how to plan your wedding in a simple way without any problems.
Set a Budget
People often don't budget while they're spending money. A wedding is not a one-day eventāit can be expensive! But, thankfully, there are many ways to save money before getting married. With so much information on the Internet about how to plan an Indian ceremony, it's easy to find resources that will make you feel confident about your financial situation as well. One thing worth keeping in mind? The costs associated with weddings often exceed projected costs by 10%-30% due to unforeseen expenses or increased prices during planning time (so it's important to allocate some wiggle room).
Choose Your Wedding Date
The timeline of an Indian Wedding requires careful planning.
For example, all invitees to the wedding should receive invitations at least 3-6 months prior to the event. This will give them time enough to plan how they can attend. Additionally, this is a good way to gauge whether or not they'll attend because no one wants to spend money on travel arrangements only for people who won't even show up!
And then there's the must-do items: mehndi party, haldi function and sangeet dance party. To avoid unexpected costs, consider booking different spaces depending on what type of event you're hosting (cocktail party vs mehndi party).
Decide on the Type of Wedding
Type: Decide if you will need an indoor space such as a wedding hall or banquet room, or an outdoor venue.
Ā Choose an Invitation Style
This is one way to save a lot of money on weddings in India. Many people spend a lot on wedding invitations, but you can save a significant amount of dough if you adopt an eco-friendly and budget-conscious approach.Ā
It's common these days to use E-Cards for mass invites; many urban couples are opting this way because they want something personalized and meaningful that doesn't involve using paper (which often ends up in landfills).Ā
Even if you're having an intimate ceremony at home or just need a few invites, there's really no good reason not to order them online! You could even get custom design done just for your special day.
Book Your Venue
Selecting the perfect wedding venue in India can be intimidating. But these important points will make it easier:
Location - Site inspection solves the problem of locale and choosing one that presents an inviting first impression. Having ample capacity (both flexible indoor space and outdoor options) is essential for different types of events, like a small family gathering or a huge bollywood-style show.
Ā Finally, choose between Banquet Halls, Marriage Halls, or other venues depending on what you're looking for. if you are looking for event organisers in hyderabad please visit this site rosewonders.com
Availability - Choose your event type based on what you want from it - need large rooms? Just ask if it'll accommodate how many people will be attending (this differs according to wedding season). Is there safe parking for cars? These simple but important factors will make guests happy about coming out to celebrate!
