BUT WHAT WAS EURYDICES REACTION TO THE CURLY HAIR I HAVE TO KNOW

thalia ☀️: EURYDICE I NEE D TO SHPW YOU SOEMTHIBF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eurydice’s phone lit up with thalia’s name as soon as her professor concluded his lecture. she closed her laptop (orpheus’s laptop, really) and started getting ready to leave, but her phone lit up again with another text from thalia.

thalia ☀️: [sent an image]

eurydice reached for her phone. ordinarily, she would assume that it was a meme, but the number of exclamation points and lack of attention to spelling was concerning, even for thalia.

before she could answer, megara clicked her purple fingernails on the top of her chair. “i can wait, if you want.” she said. “herc doesn’t get off of work until six.”

eurydice looked up at her. “it’s okay.” she replied. “thanks, but i’ll probably just...”

thalia ☀️: [sent an image]

her phone interrupted her. megara raised a perfectly-sculpted eyebrow. “is that your bartender?” a smirk danced across her lips.

eurydice laughed. “no, it’s his aunt.”

megara’s eyes widened. “you’re already vibing with his family?” she set her bag down. “serious.”

“well...they’re kind of a package deal.” eurydice responded, smiling at the thought of the muses.

thalia ☀️: [sent an image]

“you should probably see what that’s about, then.” megara narrowed her eyes, curious despite herself.

eurydice picked up her phone and opened the messages, her finger light as to not get cut by the broken screen.

there, clear as day, was a picture of orpheus in all his bashful glory, with a snickering erato standing proudly behind him. his short hair was tightly curled, and a few locks fell over his eyes.

eurydice couldn’t suppress a chortle and covered her mouth with her hand. he looked so ridiculous, but, like everything about him, very, very cute. the picture was blurry, but she was already planning to make it her lockscreen.

“oh my gods.” megara said, grinning. “someone’s having a bad hair day.”

eurydice must have been blushing, because megara cuffed her on the shoulder teasingly. “you’re gone, aren’t you.” she shook her head.

with a little tch noise, she continued. “you’d have to be, to still love him with that stupid hairstyle.”
