Kes but for her birthday she forces Tuvok to light her candles with his mind and it takes like an hour for him to do it and he's obviously struggling and starts hissing for people to be quiet if they try to suggest he just gives up and Kes is smiling the whole time. He eventually lights them but it does take like an hour and he has to immediately go lie down.

I would like you to imagine little toddler!cal somehow slipping the crechemasters and toddling off to find this one artifact somewhere that's calling to him. A harried adult chases after him. But they're just seconds too late, because toddler!cal just stuck a priceless, ancient jedi artifact into his mouth.
And promptly gets pulled into an echo

Lowkey you’re the only jirai I like talking to bc I don’t immediately feel worse as a recovering Menhera,, but after ptsd flashbacks sometimes I wanna go back to the jirai style and rot and not get better. But getting better is always worth it don’t you think? Wishing you love
i think there are other jirais that support recovery but at the same time most jirai blogs are made for venting and getting worse,, that fundamentally doesn't really make it a safe space for recovery since it's not supposed to be one. i don't really consider my blog to be one either but i'm glad it can be nonetheless.
i feel you though. flashbacks really fucking hurt. if you can get better it's definitely best to; breaking the progress you've made will really hurt in the end. not just your current self but your future and your loved ones. i'm glad you've been able to stick towards recovery.
i'm kinda not in right mindset for recovery rn. whenever i try to recover i lose all my progress and get worse, and healthy coping methods literally hurt to do. going to university was supposed to be the time where i become a better person and i fucked that up completely. (╥﹏╥) i'd rather wait until i get to a genuinely better place to get better or disappear completely if it never comes. nothing ever works out when i try. i'm just clawing at opportunities and excuses for a future i'm unsure of rn.
thank you for the support, wishing you love as well!

The Power of Grounding: Techniques for Daily Balance
In today's fast-paced world, finding balance and stability is crucial for overall well-being. One powerful method to achieve this is grounding, a practice that helps connect us to the present moment and the earth's energy. Grounding, also known as earthing, involves techniques that bring us back to our center, helping to calm the mind and body. Let's explore various grounding techniques, their benefits, and practical tips for incorporating them into our daily routines.
Understanding Grounding
Grounding is about creating a connection with the earth, which can stabilize our mental, emotional, and physical states. Whether it's through direct physical contact with the ground or using mental exercises to root ourselves, grounding helps us feel more secure and present.

Mindful Breathing
Focusing on your breath can instantly bring you back to the present moment. Take deep, slow breaths, and pay attention to the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body.
Meditation

Visualization
Imagine roots growing from your feet into the ground, anchoring you to the earth. This mental image can help you feel more stable and connected.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Tense and then slowly relax each muscle group in your body. This technique releases physical tension and promotes relaxation.
