Giving RWBY characters digimon partners part 1: Ruby and Weiss

if your wondering why I'm doing this, I am hyper fixating on digimon RN and i just really like crossovers

Ruby Rose

ROOKIE/CHILD STAGE: shoutmon

So i went with Shoutmon because it's red digimon that's been used by the main character of a digimon series before and it leads well into the evos i want, but i imagine him and Ruby having a fun dynamic, with shoutmon being hot blooded and kinda egotistical and Ruby having to rain him in a bit.

also shoutmon is associated with music and listening to music is the first thing we see Ruby doing the show proper.

CHAMPION/ADULT STAGE: GROWMON

i chose him because it's a big red dino dragon, but i also like the juxtaposition between the digital hazard and the sliver eyes, one being this holy gift from the gods the other being a unstable power of destruction.

ULTIMATE/PERFECT STAGE: WARGROWMON/MEGALOGROWMON

bigger growmon with blades and guns, two thing Ruby loves, it leads well into the megas/ultimates, moving on.

MEGA/ULTIMATE STAGE NO.1: CHAOSDRAMON

so here we have a giant red death robot, that has several weapons, is constantly upgrading itself (just like Ruby upgrading crescent rose) and uses guns to maneuver itself in the air just like Ruby. it even has skull kneepads for the edgyness factor, it's perfect!

MEGA/ULTIMATE STAGE NO.2: BLITZGREYMON

yeah I'm giving all the MC's split megas, why because it's common among digi-destined and felt like it. but look at this guy, blood red, made out of guns, he also moves around in the air using his back guns and said back gun look like draconic crescent roses. another perfect mega.

Weiss schnee

ROOKIE/CHILD STAGE: HACKMON/HUCKMON

yes i gave the digimon with a literal red hooded cape to someone who isn't Ruby, but this meant to be reference to Nicholas Schee's red cape, and as Weiss aspires to be like her grampa, hackmon aspires to be one of the royal knights, and both the royal knights and Nicholas can morally dubious to say the least. Also both him and Weiss were trained from birth for combat. i see hackmon acting like a armored talking dog and Weiss loving her for it.

And with hackmon kinda looking and kinda acting like Ruby and shoutmon acting like a more cartoonish Weiss, and both Weiss and shoutmon being singers, Ruby and Weiss when they first meet wonder "did our partners get accidentally switched at some point? did something happen?"

just the next stage of hackmon, i forgot to mention that her name hackmon, and we know Weiss has some hacking skills because of the DC movie, so that's worth bringing up i guess

yep just the next stage of hackmon... the gem on her chest can represent Dust i guess

hackmon's final form, a knight just like Weiss's main summon, who has her own summons (their names are Atho, René and Por BTW) and she literally walks around on circular glyphs.

Weiss also has a lot of angelic imagery associated with her (i will leave my opinion on said imagery out of this post) and JESmon is kinda sorta... literally based on Jesus, yes digimon Jesus is very pointy dragon knight who has familiars named after the 3 musketeers... god i fucking LOVE digimon

MEGA/ULTIMATE STAGE NO.2: CRESGARURUMON

if Ruby has a Greymon, Weiss must have a Garurumon, this does feel like a natural evo for savior Hackmon, with cape splitting in half and the gem changing color, and Weiss does love dogs, but we both know the real reason i gave her this digimon...

JOGRESS: OMNIMON ALTER S/ OMEGAMON ALTER S

it's the main character and her lancer, you kinda have to give them an Omnimon, and this is the best Omnimon! this also makes up for cres Garurumon being gold by having the entire main body be white.

also jogress digievolution in some continuities involves the tamers hearts beating as one... whiterose shippers take as will.

Well... It was more than just a few hours!

You see, we were wandering around in the Digital World, him with his Dukemon and me with Canoweissmon and Siriusmon. "D" has been talking about how new Digimon were discovered a few months ago, some of those Digimon are rumored to come from Witchelny, another Digital World that hasn't been explored that much yet, some Digimon like Wizarmon and Witchmon are confirmed to come from there, this Digital World also houses a pretty rare Dukemon variant "D" had his eyes on, Medieval Dukemon.

Medieval Dukemon has been known as "The Vortex Warrior" since its discovery in 2010, thus mocking the fact that whoever discovered him, wrote that he was part of a group called The Vortex Warriors, however, for almost 14 years, no one had discovered a digimon from this group aside Medieval Dukemon, theorizing that the guy who discovered it was either lying or misunderstanding what the first Medieval Dukemon specimen ever seen was saying, everyone labeled him as either stupid or "delulu".

Well, it appears that some of the Digimon that were discovered recently, specifically Grand Galemon and Zephagamon, are members of the Vortex Warriors, taking orders from Medieval Dukemon, also called "The Whirlwind General". Anyways, we were walking through a forest that is supposedly connected with Witchelny, this because of the amount of magic-related digimon that wander the zone and, as it seems, an also recently discovered Digimon called Chaperomon, who bares data from multiple fairy tales, (mainly Little Red Hood) within her, inhabitants that zone, in search for Fangmon, who has data from the Big Bad Wolf from the old fairy tales. She at first glance attacked us with a Molotov cocktail based attack called "Apple For You" that was easily reflected by "D's" Dukemon, after clearing the misunderstanding, we talked about how we wanted to talk with the Vortex Warriors, she apparently knew one of the Digimon partaken in that group personally, so she lead us to them.

After arriving at a hidden grotto, we were warmly welcomed by a Galemon's Hurricane Slasher, a large, sharp blade of wind that was almost instantly cut in a half with Siriusmon's Sylvia, after this little encounter, Medieval Dukemon himself came to welcome us, and excuse his pupil, asking us why we were here, "D", who was the must interested about him, got into a deep talk with Medieval Dukemon about who knows what. Since my friend was clearly doing his own business, I decided to wander around with Canoweissmon and Siriusmon. Most of the digimon inside the grotto were digimon in armor who I cannot assure belonged to the Vortex Warriors, like Kotemon, and some Koemon playing around (surely Kuzuhamon would've loved to see that) Canoweissmon pointed out the obvios, that we weren't really doing anything specific, and we ended up walking out of the group, we even left Siriusmon behind since he wanted to talk with a Zephagamon who called his attention, after some time, Canoweissmon began talking about the frustrations he had about how he wasn't able to evolve into Ultimate, we thought we were alone but, without us noticing, a huge Grand Galemon flew down upon us, Grand Galemon asked what was wrong, and talked with Canoweissmon.

He left everything out with him, how his brother got to evolve into Ultimate and managed to control the wicked data that once affected his personality, how even Rasenmon surpassed him after beating her own negative emotions that took the form of Rasenmon Rage Mode, and, that even if he looked up to Siriusmon, he was jealous of him, because of his self confidence and impressive power.

Grand Galemon sat down and listened to everything Canoweissmon had to say, and afterwards told him the following.

「I understand where your frustrations are coming from, but you don't need to be as strong as the rest to be their equal, your contributions to your companions aren't only based on how strong you are, but how much you care about them, and how you make them know that, taking care of them, and fighting along side them, plus, you don't need to be an Ultimate to be strong, look at me! I've been Medieval Dukemon's right hand since forever, and I'm "only a Perfect" everyone gets their chance to evolve and be stronger, but you can't over hype that moment and that form because if you do, you'll never be ok with that form, and never get to appreciate it」

It's a... Pretty good speech, not only applicable to digimon but also to us humans, but... I'm getting out of hand.

During all this time we spent with Grand Galemon, Siriusmon and Dukemon got to practice and spar with Medieval Dukemon and Zephagamon, so after some time, we got out.

I don't know what "D" wanted with Medieval Dukemon exactly, but I'm pretty sure he got it, since he was pretty happy when we finally came back.

After that, I tried to convince "D" to analyze the DigiTama I got from the police, he accepted to have it laying around for a bit, but I'll have to pick it up as soon as I can, since, in his own words "his PC is NOT a kindergarten"

And... Yeah, that's fair.

Oh! Talking about Bits, my friend I talked about in another entry managed to hatch her DigiTama, and her V-mon, Sophie, has finally reached Child stage, she's going to a little town soon so I'll have to see how that could affect Sophie's growing, and of course, I'll keep you updated.

Whenever I see multiple versions of the Guilmon line, such as Guilmon X or Medieval Dukemon, I picture them meeting Takato in the same way a swarm of dogs collectively make friends with a cat: swarming him with sniffing, licking and general affection while his survival instincts have him freeze in place with a panicked expression

Sure is a lot of “tell, don’t show” when it comes to the official profiles of Digimon.

I’m sure we’ll see WitcheIny and Digital World: Iliad someday though (the next Digimon Story game IS about the Olympos XII so not including the Digital World: Iliad wouldn’t be kind of dumb TBH). The Dark Area’s appeared a few times after all.

Wizarmon's

I dont know how many people realise this but Wizarmon and their variants are basically the wizards from Tolkien. Sorcerimon is the White Wizard, Wizarmon and Wizarmon X are the two blue wizards. Fla Wizarmon is obviously the red wizard. Now who might be the Grey and Brown wizards. Well Gandalf was canonically stronger then Sarumon the White so Mistymon, I have no clue for the brown wizard.

Fun fact, Dynasmon has a connection to Witchleny their name is similar to the lance of Medieval Dukemon, and they both contained the power of The Wyvern. Dynasmon of the Royal Knights was most likely the one with the wyvern power and evolved from a Mistymon. Why am I talking about this? Because like Gandalf the grey wizard became a White Wizard.

If anyone wants to point out s brown wizard you can, help is appreciated.

Start of ch 14 of my Digimon OC fic ---

“Very well done,” Clockmon said as he stopped his reverse time spell. “I must say I was not expecting such an attack, either. The both of you were slow and disorganized at first. But I saw firsthand the powers each of you possesses when you learn to work together. You two certainly achieved many things a lot faster than the Virtue Chosen.”

The praise from the normally solemn and level-headed Machine Digimon was rather surprising, considering how judgemental he was earlier. Both Digimon bowed to the Adult Machine Digimon and Ultimate Fairy Digimon.

“Thank you. It has been an honour,” Examon said before he and Medieval Dukemon reverted back to their previous forms, returning to their partners’ sides.

“Does this mean we are ready to save Taichi and the others?” Dracomon asked the pair.

“Yes, I believe you are ready to head to the Digital World with your team,” Lotusmon said, but from what little features they were able to make out were not very comforting. “However, you must keep a few things in mind. There are many Digimon, including Wizarmon, held prisoner deep within the vampire’s damp, dark lair. There have been rumors that Vamdemon has been recruiting Megalo Growmon to guard his prisoners and surrounding domain, but they should be a piece of cake to take out now that you both have Ultimates on your side.”

“As of currently,” Clockmon spoke up, “Taichi and his friends are currently trapped in the Digital World, so it will be your mission to find a way in and get them and Wizarmon out.” @artistzoneforum

Is okay to request Medieval Dukemon X Reader? He barely appears outside of cards and a Chinese manga. This blog is like a dream come.

MedievalDukemon X Reader!

As his namesake is, aside from his more medieval armor, he also sometimes switches between a old-timey way of talking, and the current time, mixing them together more often than not.

He is incredibly poetic when he has someone he holds dear -- that being you of course! Every time you meet together, he always has something prepared -- taking your hand as he kneels down to recite to you his poem that he has been thinking about nonstop to make it perfect since the last time you two saw each other given he can be gone for some time. It's something to show you're always on his mind, even when time splits you apart.

He spends as much time with you as possible, making every moment cherishable since he can't spend it all with you all the time. He's doing what he can, and hopes that makes you happy enough with him.

MedievalDukemon is much like his current counterpart in some ways. He has a more knightly code he follows strictly, and would never tarnish it for any reason. He holds high beliefs that even a single rule broken can bring down his knightly form and title.

He is also inspired by your love for him, it helps him get through the toughest of battles. The thought of seeing your smiling face once more always keeps his mind clear of anything else that would try to taint it. He has something to fight for, more than just the safety of the Digital World, and he plans to use that to his advantage.

Ok, I know dukemon can change forms from his normal to his X form, but I know there is another form and its called medieval dukemon, is that actually another form or it is a different digimon?
