Pain in the Back

It's Halloween season - let's get spooky! My strange fascination with medicine and illnesses (all of which scare me) has made me create several such artworks lately. This one was inspired of course by own backaches; being an artist sounds so exciting and active and engaged, but it's a desk job and you willingly hold still for hours; really we're modern Shaolin, doing exercises only to keep sitting still for longer periods without dire consequences (yeah yeah, get up once per hour and so forth, but I dare anyone to tell me they stick to that every single day). My back is okay again but I still painted this piece, partly as an exercise with texture. It's acrylic and ink on A3 synthetic paper. Heyhey IG fam! What's cookin'? Right now I am enjoying the HD aquarium, doing some dinner prep and then I may bake toffee chip cookies. Not sure, depends on how helpful the kids are today. 🤔 I'm enjoying Black Domina from @speed.greens before bed in this sesh, only this strain made me a bit too chill to write a good review 😜. I had to go back and try it again this morning, having a nice nap from 5-7:45am! So, first thing I'll say- it's great for sleep induction! 🙌 I'm not usually an Indica fan for that reason, as I prefer strains that keep me more energetic and motivated. This one is a cross between almost a handful of plants but it reminds me of Northern Lights as far as effect is concerned, in the sense it's relaxing and helps with mood elevation. As far as the body stone goes, I would compare it to Violator if you're more familiar with that common name. The couch lock is real. This is one I would use solely for bedtime, right close to actually wanting to sleep. Swipe to see how pretty it is too! 😍 I liked the look and cure of this bud more than the Blueberry Muffins they had sent (see a couple of posts back), as it wasn't as dry and the bud was a bit more frosty. I like the care Speed Greens puts into their branding and packaging- the colourful labels, fun characters and comic-book feel adds to the appeal for me.
