Name: Meteor Jockey
Base Model: CN9-D9
Stable: Steelheart Collective
Primary Pilot: Thera Austlar
Primary Circuit: Class III
A skirmisher/striker mech, Meteor Jockey was built by the Steelheart Collective Stables in 3148 with bith advanced Inner Sphere and Clan technology. Armed with a capacitor-enhanced snub-nosed PPC, an engine supercharger, shield, and advanced clan laser tech, Meteor Jockey leverages its speed to stay at range and slowly whittle down its opponents with long range shots before aggressively closing to deliver brutal finishers with its signature 'Misericorde' of heavy lasers. Jockey's pilot, Thera Austlar, rose to notoriety after she defeated two time Class III Circuit champion Tharkad Blues by ripping off her own mech's damaged right arm and purposely rupturing the PPC capacitors as a makeshift explosive weapon.

The Green Knight, for #Mechtourney !
No one knows who pilots this machine, for on the few times it was bested in combat, they escaped using its head ejection system. None have beaten the Green Knight without later coming to regret their actions when it returns to the arena and inflicts whatever killing blow they dealt it back on them tenfold.

The Knightly ‘Mech Tourney
(Painting motivation)
Solaris City
Solaris VII
Wolf Empire
10 November 3151
Fearing their clan has left them behind now that Terra has been captured. The Wolf Empire on Solaris VII have ramped up tournament schedules, with hopes that either by open call or Trial of Possession their ranks will increase.
The newest tournament to take place is the Knightly Mech tourney. Appealing to the knightly image of ‘mech warriors within the Inner Sphere, the new tournament promises riches to the victor but the price might be freedom.
Will you retain your freedom, is the prize worth the risk?
Come! And present at the Solaris VII Knightly Tourney!
+++++++++++++++++++++++
This is a fun little painting project mainly for motivation. Just paint up a ‘mech and post it under #mechtourney .
Guidelines:
Name your ‘Mech!
Paint it up as if it was a Tourney Jouster or Show Knight, bright colours and silly gimmicks, something that would catch a crowds attention!
Maybe write a small story only a paragraph or so to go along with your ‘mech and pilot.

Honor and glory can be won upon the combined arms battlefield, assuredly. That is how Clanners have done it since the first days under the Great Father, when the Clans themselves were cemented during Operation KLONDIKE.
But even when fighting alongside others, the competition for victory and prestige can become quite intense.
Sometimes it is easier simply to strike out on ones own, and earn your Bloodname in a different circle. After all, a Circle of Equals can be anything...if you set the BatChall right.
Enter Christopher Irons. Irons is not a Clanner. He is a freebirth Spheroid, a rich child from Canopus with far to much money and, more importantly, connections at a major food and supply transportation and shipment company.
He is also, unsurprisingly, bored with his easy, simple life, and as many rich children have done before, he's taken to a life of showmanship, pretend, and danger.
For him? The founding of an entirely new Clan. Iron Orca. Trappings and history all.
They have their background, they have about a Stars worth of his fellow rich cronies, they have mechs (including Iron's own Stone Rhino, recovered at phenominal expense from a museum in the Free Worlds League, who got it from the Lyran Commonwealth, who got it from the Draconus Combine, who got it from Luthien originally)...but they don't have clout and they don't have crediblity. Well...if the Wolf Empire wants to open slots and let them show their prowess and earn their rightful place as full clanners? So be it then.
