I also have many "favourite people" (if that's not a contradiction), and each has different amazing qualities. However, the one who's the most caring and lovely always makes me happy. She's so kind and gentle and ALWAYS looks out for me and makes sure i'm okay - even if i'm totally fine - which is adorable. She's had a rough life, and i don't know how she manages to stay so compassionate. She also recently got into a relationship and i could not be happier for her!!

Ten facts about me.

1. I hated any and all forms of baking and cooking as a child, but now I really like it. My biggest motivation comes from my boyfriend’s smile whenever I make food. I really want to make an apple and a pumpkin pie completely from scratch for Thanksgiving.

2. I started weight lifting about two months ago, and just today I was able to squat 100lbs for 3 reps.

3. My favorite video game franchise is Fire Emblem, and Alm is my favorite Lord, and Shadows of Valentina is my favorite game.

4. I never owned anything pink until I met my boyfriend and now I’ve got a dress, a skirt, a shirt, a (piggy) onesie, and a battalion on stuffed animals that are just soooooo super cute thanks to him.

5. I’m getting the line work done for my next tattoo on the November 10th, and I’m super excited for it. It’s going to be so beautiful.

6. I’m turning 21 this upcoming year, and all I want is to go skydiving before I get too old to pussy out.

7. I cannot ingest any stimulant or depressant, otherwise I might faint.

8. My first dance song with my boyfriend when we get married someday is going to be “All that Meat and No Potatoes” by Louis Armstrong.

9. I’d love to someday live on a farm with my husband, our five children, and some chickens, pigs, and goats. Since that probably won’t happen, I’ll take three kids, a potbellied pig, and a bunny.

10. My mom worked for Aetna when she was pregnant with me, and was almost convinced to name me Aemily instead of Emily (still pronounced the same way).

Now to tag other people. Anyone can do it if they want to, just have fun with it. But I’ll name names just for fun.

I’m just going to watch with popcorn in hand about this whole anti-Semitism thing going on. I have a strict policy of not jumping in unless I have something to contribute, so sidelines are where I’ll happily stay.

@mechanicusdeus You do realize Nazism and Islam are incomparable? They’re not both “disgusting idealogies”— Nazism is. Nazism is killing everyone who doesn’t fit into your worldview. That’s what Hitler did. Islam is a religion based on peace.

Nazis want to kill off people (that’s why we had the Holocaust, in case you don’t know your history)— only a few radical Muslims do. Your ignorance is pretty damn clear. You do know that the only reason radical Islamic groups exist today is because of the western world, right?

If we’re really going to go all the way to the Ottoman Empire to defend your Islamophobia, I can talk about how the Catholic Church waged war on the Muslims during its pointless Crusades because it wanted control of commerce again, or how it’s Christians who conquered and murdered people in their pursuit of wealth and power.

And, lmao, I don’t know if you’re aware, but back in the 20th Century, there were tons of people who marched the streets with signs that echoed the sentiment that “Hitler hasn’t done anything to us.” Look where that got them.

Humans are programmed to protect girls more than boys. It’s not fair, but neither is nature. It’s just what worked for ancient man. And you’re an INTJ, of course you’re tough and self-reliant. It’s just that you’re a statistical rarity.

Makes sense. And he’s a pretty fragile person, too, always has been, ever since we were little.

I feel like any meetup I host is going to have an inordinate amount of INTJs, just because *points to URL*... and that reminds me that I should probably make the fabled INTJ Fangirl flag that I keep talking about. (It would make me easy to find in the city, at the least!)

Also, on a slightly tangential note: To all my friends from all over the world, if you ever visit this cute little city I plan on calling home for many more years, you are absolutely welcome to take advantage of my hospitality and crash at my place! Then again, I’d also like to visit all of you, so. ;D

Do you feel the need to be affectionate towards INTJs? If so, how do INTJs usually react?

Yes, I do. If I said no, I would be lying. Hahaha. I mean, don’t you get the feeling when you see something cute or awesome, and you just want to touch it?! (Caveat: Not all INTJs are cute or awesome. Some are both. XD)

I find they usually react in one of two ways:

1) Pulling away and looking really disturbed by me. Alternately, extreme indifference (or, according to that one post, throwing me across the room. Not cool!!!)

2) Being REALLY REALLY touchy-feely, like all of my boyfriends ever, and weirding me out in the process. (But hey, they were my boyfriends. If I had a close INTJ friend, I still don’t think they’d accept it to this extent.) 

I must add that because I’m kind of shy/socially awkward and not raised to be especially physically affectionate, I don’t act like the ENFP stereotype, where we apparently throw ourselves on anyone we like and glomp them. (Goddamn, that’s embarrassing.) 

However, I definitely want to. 

So I just stand there like an awkward potato until it’s been established that yes, I am close enough to this person for me to be able to be physically affectionate with them, and even then, I’m awkward as hell. 

I don’t want to overstep anyone’s personal boundaries, and it’s very easy to do that when you’re an overexcitable ENFP and the other person is, how do we say this, taciturn on the topic. So I kinda just go to the other extreme...

ENTP: WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH? Besides the obvious (terrible puns, science jokes, etc.), repeating odd words will usually make me do a confused laugh.

INTP: HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT SOLVING PROBLEMS? Well, to be honest, I usually just sit back and let it sort itself out. If I can't do that, I take a few minutes to figure out a plan, and try to stick to the plan.

ENTJ: DESCRIBE A BUSINESS VENTURE YOU'D BE WILLING TO TRY: Teleporters. I'm completely enamored by teleporters- they're so practical! Also, I think everyone could use a teleporter, so it'd probably be a success.

INTJ: DEFINE SUCCESS: Having an interesting job, good friends, and to always learn something.
