Imagine being a "weird kid" a kid that feels like a freak, a kid that is always getting into trouble and gets treated like the bad guy over and over and over again that you think no one understands you and you were never going to be anything. Until you hear this voice, a voice that not only knows what it's like to be an outcast or a weirdo but who thinks it's something to be celebrated and adored. You look up who this voice is only to see a beautiful dark creature with one white eye standing on a podium screaming his head off "I AM THE HYDRA NOW YOU SEE YOUR STAR" and people cheering him on. It was in that moment that the weird kid didn't feel so alone anymore, but instead a powerful force to be reckoned with

That's what Marilyn Manson did for me.

The impact that Marilyn Manson's music had on me was insane. The amount of creativity, philosophy, theatricality, and emotions that I discovered through this man are only matched by David Bowie. Manson helped me through some of the darkest times of my life all through his music alone. Whether I was angry, sad, or really just lost in my ways, Manson was always there to remind me how powerful I can be.

So naturally when I finally got to meet him I was starstruck as hell lol Don't let my cool guy face fool you I could barely think straight when we took this picture. But as always Manson made me feel comfortable and safe and he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

Thank you Marilyn Manson, thank you for the music, thank you for challenging what it means to be an artist, but most of all thank you for being yourself because by you being yourself it taught me to be myself 🖤🖤🖤🖤
