I woke up this morning and noticed something new in the mirror. My eyebags, puffy and prominent, had grown a life of their own. It wasn’t clear how long they had been alive. It was as if they had their own nine to five, dinner at six, at least six hundred you owe this year. I was beginning to suspect I did not know myself, because I had no recollection of what they had been through. Have I at last reached the conclusion of what it means to “grow up”? 

Interior: in my bed. In my mind, in the abstract, it is summer. The mourning dove and cicada drone coordinate a song that keeps me wide awake. In my body, in the concrete, it is winter. The temperature is harsh and there is little life to be found here. I wrap my blanket tighter around me. Fortunately, the season makes no difference to me; it is in my nature to bargain and plead for one more hour, no matter where the sun makes the throne in the sky. That damned thing, always smugly watching.

If I could send off my limbs to do the dirty work, I would have one hand grab the coffee, and the other my daily multi-vitamins. The feet can go off wherever they please purely because they tend to bother me. But the factory prefers us to come as we are: whole. So I don’t.

[ my random oc thought of the day relates to the triforce doritos. But what if specifically in botw / totk the reason the brothers can't be seen by all is because their true forms are those of the dragons. I've had this idea for awhile and may have some sketches in an old sketchbook somewhere of this but basically, days of old I'd say this was before Ganon - but Raruru had three advisors; one of whom was a Zonai [ torin ], a Gerudo [ emery ] and a Hylian [ Leon ]. These three were the first to eat the secrets stones and become immortal protectors of Hyrule. Perhaps because in this time line they were the og trio of protectors of the triforce picked by him or something else but random ideas ive had today! ]
