Hi do you find a correlation between mbti personalities and astrology? Because if a person is honest in answering the questions there should be a similarity between his chart and his result right? But I’m starting to doubt astrology because I’m an air dominant but I’m an infp. My moon is air and I think my chart does not represent me at all? Do you doubt your chart sometimes?

i don’t rly doubt my chart, but i doubt mbti all the time eiufdjlfkdj i get a different result every year i take it 💀 (not that it’s not valid! i imagine it’s just.. we all change so much in a years time it would make sense to flip between different mbtis! esp since i’m an ambivert it explains why i flip between e/i depending on the day i take the test)

idk here’s my lil take (keep in mind i am Not educated on mbti so !!!! i’m using what i gathered from the mbti site on the meanings of the mbti letters, i could be interpreting them totally wrong tho and i apologize!). for reference, i’m going off of the information from this page:

Where you focus your attention – Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I) / The way you take in information – Sensing (S) or INtuition (N) / How you make decisions – Thinking (T) or Feeling (F) / How you deal with the world – Judging (J) or Perceiving (P) - credit themyersbriggs

☆ introverted vs extroverted - look mainly at 1st house & sun (but also possibly 10h, mars, venus, stelliums/dominants)

introverted/I: taurus, cancer, capricorn, virgo // pluto, saturn

extroverted/E: gemini, aries, leo, sagittarius, libra // jupiter, mars, venus, sun

most likely to be ambiverts: scorpio, pisces, aquarius // mercury, moon, uranus, neptune

↳ some aspects leading to being extroverted: sun-jupiter, sun-neptune, sun-uranus, ascendant-jupiter, ascendant-neptune, ascendant-sun, ascendant-uranus, venus-jupiter, venus-neptune, venus-uranus, mars-uranus (moreso makes someone outspoken though but could be taken as extroverted imo)

↳ some aspects leading to being introverted: sun-saturn, sun-moon square, sun-pluto harsh (square/opposition), venus and/or mars squaring or opposing saturn, mercury-saturn harsh (square/opposition - leads to biting tongue/holding back thoughts which i think could lead to someone being introverted)

★ sensing vs intuition - look to mercury mainly (but check your 12h/9h/3h, dominants/stelliums, moon)

sensing/S: virgo, capricorn, leo, aries // mercury, saturn, mars, sun

intuition/N: sagittarius, pisces, libra, cancer // jupiter, neptune, venus, moon

mix of both/dependent on other strong influences of chart: aquarius, gemini, taurus, scorpio // mercury, uranus, pluto

↳ some aspects leading to sensing: mercury-saturn, sun-saturn, moon-saturn, jupiter-saturn (this might create a good balance between intuition and sensing though, actually),

↳ some aspects leading to intuition: mercury-neptune, mercury-jupiter, moon-mercury, sun-moon (conjunct/trine/sextile), neptune-uranus, mercury-pluto, sun-pluto

☆ thinking vs feeling - look to moon and mercury mainly (sun, mars, 1st house i think could potentially influence this quite a bit as well...possibly a couple other houses too but i’m rambling too much and making things complicated)

feeling/F: pisces, cancer, libra, sagittarius, leo

(signs i think could also be both tho lol: scorpio, gemini, leo, sagittarius)

★ judging vs perceiving - look to 1st house & sun mainly (i think mars, mercury, venus can also strongly influence this.. 10th, 11th houses too..)

judging/J: virgo, aries, capricorn, leo, cancer

perceiving/P: gemini, sagittarius, pisces, taurus, libra

mix of both i can’t decide: aquarius & scorpio

💌 it’s kinda difficult to associate mbti with astrology because the natal chart is so complicated. an aspect to one of your planets can totally change it’s expression. if someone had sun in 1st, i’d assume them to be more an extrovert, but if their sun was in cancer and had a harsh aspect to saturn, they’re likely going to be an introvert. so it’s kind of tricky for me to connect astrology to mbti, it’s too complex. (not that mbti isn’t!!!)
