This message made me cry! He has such a beautiful soul and he is so loved 😍
Happy birthday Seb!
Aaahhh that is just the most wonderful thing 🥺💞 Sebastian's friends and the people he's worked him genuinely ADORE him and I am absolutely not surprised about that!! But I am very touched, this is such a sweet and gorgeous message from people who clearly care a lot about our wonderful darling boy ❤️
I did go 'he played a vampire?!?!' for a minute there, like, surely I wouldn't have forgotten about that?? But I think maybe she meant a cannibal or maybe his role from the Covenant? Either way, he is supremely talented and versatile and a truly good person to boot, she's absolutely tight about that 🥰 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEBASTIAN
Sebastian has played many diverse roles: a rockstar, a former president, a serial killer, a Marvel superhero (or anti-hero?), a man living with incurable disease, a vampire, a mad hatter -- the list goes on. But the focus of this post is not the characters he plays but his character itself. Seb is funny, patient, discerning, perceptive, thoughtful, and generous. In all the years I've known him he's never had an unkind word to say about anyone, which is so rare. Whether we're working with kids battling cancer, at-risk youth and orphans, or veterans battling PTSD, he genuinely cares about helping others. Isla and I adore him and we're sending him so much love today on his birthday. HBD Sebastian, cheers to another year around the sun and we look forward to celebrating you soon!! 🥳🎉🎂🌟 #sebastianstan #wintersoldier #captainamerica #avengers #happybirthday

Sebastian Stan visits a hospital for children who cannot eat with their mouths in Spain (somosnupa on Instagram)
There are adventurous superheroes who overcome many challenges on the big screen and teach us that every day can be a fantastic experience. And others who dedicate their free time to share dreams with the most vulnerable, including NUPA children with intestinal failure, parenteral nutrition and multi-visceral transplants. Here is when reality surpasses fiction: one good day at the residence near Hospital La Paz, Madrid, (where they spend long stays), @imsebastianstan visits these kids. Bucky Barnes is here! And today is his birthday! But above all, an exceptional human being, capable of changing uncertainty and fear to hope and positivity. Thanks to our special superhero for a fascinating visit to NUPA Residence. We know a few things now: you have come to stay and nothing is impossible with you by our side! Thanks to Meagan Celeste from MDC Productions for working with us for weeks to plan this visit and make everything easy and magical. Thanks to all who help us to improve the quality of life of many hospitalized children.

Meagan Celeste (a dedicated charity worker focussing on children's hospitals, who has worked with Sebastian for years to organise trips and donations like the one he made recently to NUPA) responding to a comment claiming Seb's visit was a PR stunt in response to recent backlash.
Worth reading but I'll do a TLDR;
- The trip has been organised for months - the 'the pandemic would have been an excuse to cancel' line implies it was in the works pre COVID and postponed.
- It happened weeks ago, so possibly BEFORE the backlash really got going, and he didn't post about it at all, which clearly shows it wasn't PR or a distraction.
- He and the hospital took all precautions and his visit was safe and enjoyed by all!
- He made significant donations including toys and PPE alongside his visit.
#sebastian stan#sorry for hogging the tags today but this is important#i already see such a lovely thing being spun to be negative

Meagan Celeste was accused of being careless and what not and she responded at her IG and explained that this was planned months ago and that Seb went through many steps to come. She called out the girl for assuming these professionals didn't know what they are doing or were careless. The usual nasty comments, because they are dissapointed of Seb being a good person who helps very sick kids.

“I just want to say thank you to all the first responders, everyone on the front lines. I stay home for the kids too ill to do so themselves. Take care of yourselves out there.”
A message was shared by Meagan Celeste who puts together the charity hockey game Taylor has participated in the past few years.

So it turns out Seb's friend Meagan Celeste (who he does lots of charity work with) works with a children's hospital charity in Spain (Somos NUPA) and organised his trip weeks ago so he could bring some joy to sick kids there. Still don't think travelling was the best move, but it definitely paints it in a whole new, more in character light. This is a lesson in not jumping to the worst conclusion without any information - we still don't know what other work or charity stuff he was doing there.
I just saw this and I'm absolutely floored by this man's kindness ❤ I still have many questions, but for now let's focus on the amazing things he's done for these kids and on how happy and excited they look!!! 🥺 Sebastian, you're a special one and we love you very much, happy birthday, sweetheart 💕
