Hello!!! I love your art and your style. I'd love to hear your inspirations behind how you draw and, in addition, hear a bit about your painting process (I love the impressionistic look your paintings have)
ahh!!! thank you so much ;u;
Ill tried my best to break down my thought process behind my drawing, so i hope this all makes sense aahaha
undercut cause it came out real long
SO Karl Gnass is an instructor that i took an anatomy class with. and who broke down anatomy in a way that really helped me grasp space. like space a figure occupies. and from that i think my characters feel a bit more...grounded? im not sure what the right word would be but tangible is something people sometimes say about my art.
And i do think when youre able to make a figure look like its really wrapping its hands around something it makes character interactions a lot more intimate.
heres a few under sketches i do when i start a drawing (i am trying REALLY hard not to use my nsfw ones tho those are pretty perfect when it comes to showing u anatomy RIP)
after i got the poses done ill turn down the opacity and rough sketch out details on top of these. and once THATS done i move onto lineart. and the most important aspect of this step is NOT TO TRACE YOUR UNDER DRAWING!!!! thats what sucks the life out of your work!!!!
instead you use your undersketch as a guide. ilI actually redraw the simple anatomy underneath very lightly, erase where they over lap and then add line weight variety + darken up the details.
examples of this are gonna look a little messy but. Left is the original pose i drew out with rough details. right is the drawing i do on top of it. you'll see theyre not one to one and theres some lines i didnt fully erase out when redoing the anatomy. i find my clean up has a lot more energy when i do this.
the thing about my style is that you'll notice i never actually do actual clean smooth lineart. and thats because i HATE DOING THAT SHIT. like i did learn how to do it and consistently forced myself to do it for over a year. and while i do think i learned a lot about line weight and drawing clearer. i realized? its just not for me. I like a textured brush and i like being able to see those small lines i didnt get to fully erase out because i think they look cool lol and thats ok!! do what you want forever man!!! its your art!!!
Also before i move onto painting ill show you this neat little trick. you know those more "loose" drawings of mine that feel more gestural? the begining process is exactly the same. the difference is i use a chunkier pen and try to see how much i can simplify details + just feel out the energy of lines
NOW PAINTING.
man. where to even start.
the thing about painting is that its an entire different set of skills that need to each be honed on their own and will slowly build up together. ill break it down like this.
VALUE, COLOR, and TECHNIQUE
I've said this on another ask before but you'll notice ill do a lot of black and white sketches. and i do that to practice choosing how to group values.
like this example. how light is laios' wolf coat compared to his skin? or kabrus skin color compard to laios coat. when do you want to really push the contrast of light and dark and when do you let values be closer to each other when you DONT want attention
the next step from this is adding a light source.
and when you're working in black and white its a lot easier to pay more attention where you want your light/how its gonna look like hitting youre characters and how far youre gonna push your shadows.
and you know if you get good at this you can play with limited color palletes
this is literally just be picking out blues and hitting the bottom with the gradient tool to light it up
NOW COLOR
is a lot harder and also very subjective. I do a ton of impressionist studies where i just color pick the fuck out of a piece to see what colors masters used + knowing the history of paint and what colors were available during that time period. +knowing what colors = what mood + knowing what colors to use when you want to be more realistic vs when you want to lean into more stylized+ what colors YOU specially incline towards + AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
its a lot and im actually still learning myself
But when i do a painting i collect a LOT of refrences of the kind of mood i want my own painting to feeling like. I've show the first example in another ask before but heres one from my latest labru too
WHen i actually start a painting tho they look like this. The top drawings are just flat colors with a simple outline of where i want the light to be hitting. like in my value studies im just trying to get the idea down, seeing what values need to be darker vs what is lighter. and how the light source covers the character.
figuring this out in the begining makes the rest of the painting so much easier because youve essentially made all the big compostion decisions NOW. from here you can start playing with colors.
my second stage, youll see with drawings at the bottom, is when i start using my texture brush to lay in extra shadows and just play with variety.
and then? i start rendering
that would be TECHNIQUE
And well....thats also something thats gonna be very subjective.
With my own style im not interested in rendering everything to perfection. Im trying to figure out how to texture hair/skin/clothes in ways that make them feel like the materials they are while also showing the energy of my brushstrokes.
I dont zoom in while i paint btw. everything i do is zoomed out so i can see the entire drawing. it helps me not tight up my strokes while also letting me build up all areas of the painting equally. the only time i zoom in is when im lining out the eyes/mouth of a character. and yeah. it drives me insane doing this because ITS SOOOOO Tempting to obsess over paint 1 area forever then zoom out and see that nothing matches lol
The other thing about my style of painting. Is that im not gonna use the exact same formula for every piece. like this isnt cell shading. you can have an idea of how to texture skin/clothes/hair and sometimes it looks great and beautiful in one painting and then it looks like shit in another. ive overhauled a lot of paintings multiple times because what i thought would work doesnt and ive had to force myself to explore and play with my brushstrokes. and you know? i wouldnt have it any other way. it means none of my paintings are gonna look alike! and i think thats pretty cool :D
ill leave you with this in the end. a painting im in the middle of doing and debating to overhaul cause im just not feeling the strokes. who knows what ill look like in the end
anyways i hope this helped a little? even if you look at all this and go. IM NEVER GONNA DRAW LIKE THIS BOZO ahahah
BUT I WISH YOU LUCK ON YOUR OWN ARTS :DDDD

what's your process when you make minecraft skins? how do you come up with ideas? what programs or sites do you use? how do you simplify details into easily communicable shapes? skin making is like an arcane art huge kudos to skin artists
hiiii anon!
im gonna put my whole answer under the readmore since i have very many words to say so hope u enjoy!
ok so i mainly make skins for events and such, which are usually based off of creators' existing skins. usually i'll just give them silly outfits in their team color, but i've been trying to give them somewhat of an overlying theme as well.
(note: i am somewhat retired from event skinmaking? meaning i havent made any in a whiiiiile but i could come back to it at some point? we shall see.)
here's the skins i'm probably most proud of. I wanted to do some kind of cyberpunk-style outfits using their team color (lime), while also trying to get better at incorporating a color palette.
having a color palette to pick base colors from is soooo helpful, it allows you to have a bunch of complimentary accents that really blend well together. whether you make your own color palettes, use generators online (paletton.com is my favorite), or use palettes that others have already made (lospec.com has some cool ones), they definitely help bring the skin to life.
i've also done a few custom skins for friends, starting from scratch. for those, i usually ask them to give me a few references of what they're looking for: real-life outfits, hairstyles, general style of skin, etc.
for both team skins and custom commissions, references are your best friend! i have a pinterest board full of various clothing items/outfits that i might translate into skin form in the future.
(side note: people often don't realize skin making is a type of art too. please don't use skins others have created, recolor them, and try to pass them off as your own work. looking at other skins for general inspo, cool! but straight up copying large portions of a skin and claiming it as your own... not cool. just don't.)
one of the hardest parts about making skins is definitely getting all of the little details across. since you have so few pixels to work with, it is pretty easy for the artist to have one design in their brain and for others to have different ideas about how the cubito would look in 4k.
for me personally, i don't worry too much about getting all the details perfect, as i think the different interpretations are what make minecraft skins so unique! (and, at least for me, seeing any art of someone's interpretation of the skins i've made is the best compliment i could ever receive!) :D
this is the program i use, blockbench! (blockbench.net) it's so much easier to use then the basic skin editor you find on many minecraft skin websites. plus you can create custom models or textures as well! its not just for skin making.
important features:
ability to work on multiple skins at once! makes creating team skins much easier
color palette importer
pixel grid that turns on and off
copy and paste elements to different layers of the skin
posing the skin to see how it looks when players are running vs standing vs sitting, etc.
toggling specific elements/layers on and off
different lighting options!
and a ton more things that i don't even know how to use!
very cool program 10/10 highly recommend!
ok that's enough yapping from me lol. thank u for the ask anon, hope this helps! :D

🦊MJ! Could u maybe give me a hand tutorial? U don’t have to I’m just bad at it so— (ty in advance <3)
ok so this is gonna be less polished than my other tuts b/c i cant demonstrate digitally but LJFD ok. so most hand tutorials NEVER helped me !! its just so much info but with no pointers on how to use it!! so im gonna unload on u all the info that actually helped me so u dont have to slog through seven/eight years of hand tutorials to get to the gold nuggets.
1) the palm is quadrilateral or a pentagon.
ok so. some self important asshole is gonna get u to try and sketch all these like ovals and rectangles and shit to like '''''construct the palm'''''' that's some bullshit!! that makes it FAR too complicated. the bumpy parts and the shapes will come with lines later. the only benefit constructing a palm like that will give you is when you're drawing the hand from an awkward angle i.e. when u need to really figure out where the fat of the palm is.
also, I know it's tempting, but I would recommend against making hand poses with that circle-and-line skeleton method. in my experience it lended itself to confusion, odd finger segment lengths, and pose stiffness. it may work for you, though. do what makes it good for you.
2) don't forget the bumpy.
?? you think. what is a bumpy? fear not, the holy grail of hand tips that actually got me to stop hating every hand I drew: the bumpy.
see that lil curve there on the side of the hand? really its just representing the fattest part of the palm that isn't the base of your thumb. if a hand thats kinda in this position doesn't look right, consider: bumpy. that is all.
3) the thumb looks like a chicken thigh / fingies are simple
HEAR ME OUT. the other fattest part of the palm is connected to the thumb, and the thumb as whole always reminded me of ? a chicken thigh. which may be morbid but it's just the shape. see: skinny, long top, and thicker pear-shaped bottom.
keeping this shape in mind may make it easier to draw the thumb from different angles. (part of this tip is kind of a stylistic thing that I do -- usually the fat of the thumb doesn't go all the way up to the thumb itself in most styles. i draw it that way b/c i am weird)
also, you're gonna be tempted to draw every crease and fold of skin and every push and pull of the fingers -- simplify your shapes and lines! it makes it easier to draw when you're just starting out.
4) look at yourself
take photos of your hands in different poses!! draw them again and again! in that hand (haha) don't be afraid to trace photos of your hands in diff poses! that will help u figure out all those funky moving parts and what works, and what doesn't. use references, honestly they're godsend and I should use them more.

OK this is not gonna matter to anyone BUT ME but OKAY HERE’S THE DEAL:
SO, I own the print copy simplified version of the novel Zhen Hun 镇魂 by Priest. I’ve been lamenting though, because when I first bought it, I skimmed through it (with my extremely limited Chinese language skill at the time) and had concluded it was missing the extras. In the extras, Priest wrote a happier ending and also wrote a happy ending that tied in the cdrama to the book in a positive way. I had also assumed, from things I’d heard about the Taiwan special print edition in traditional characters, that the Shen San extra was... only in that edition.
Recently I was scouring the internet to try to purchase that version, so I could have the extras. Today I talked to someone who might have the book - I figured they might know which version of the book had the extras. THEY informed me, that the simplified copy I had with the foggy mountains on the covers, HAS ALL THE EXTRAS AND THE SHEN SAN EXTRA TOO!
I skimmed the book again (really, just skimmed and read the titles) - I realized my books do in fact have an ‘extras’ section in the back. But still, I didn’t see the Shen San extras.
But they said they had the SAME VERSION as me and the Shen San extra was in their copy.
So, I read big chunks of the Extras in my book. ONE, YES! YES, I FOUND THE SHEN SAN EXTRA IN MY BOOK. ToT You truly have no idea how overjoyed I am, that I own a version of the book with this extra! This extra is hard to find digitally, and lo and behold I own it and can read it whenever I want ToT!!!! I’m so happy!!!!
BUT ALSO, this matter of reading bigger chunks to figure out which extras I had? I JUST READ GUARDIAN. AS IN, I JUST READ THIS BABY WITHOUT A DICTIONARY. WITHOUT PLECO, WITHOUT MY PHONE, WITHOUT ANYTHING BUT MY BRAIN AND THE PAGES YOOOOO!!!
I cannot even contain how overwhelmingly happy I am right now.
I was not reading sections of the book I’d read in chinese before. I was not reading parts I have even read an english translation of. I was literally just reading paragraphs and paragraphs of Guardian to figure out what was going on in each area. First I read a chunk about Guo Changcheng writing even though their was no case, Chu Shuzhi being fond, and Lin Jing staring at Guo Changcheng because he’s changed (I think his hair was different - it was clear while I did this that adjectives were my biggest ‘blind’ spot since I know those characters the least). Then another chunk about Long Cheng University having a case, and another chunk (in the middle of the book) of Shen Wei saying “wo...” speechlessly, then another of Zhao Yunlan talking to someone and catching them off guard because he looks so young and smile-y, before looking at his watch (I believe it’s that ghost catching watch thing).
ANYWAYYYYY I NEVER THOUGHT I WAS GONNA BE ABLE TO DO THISSSSS!!!
Anyway all this shows MY BIG FOOL SELF is that clearly I can fucking read more than I give myself credit for, and I am a big baby for refusing to challenge myself as much as I should. Clearly the times I do challenge myself pay off over time. It was abundantly obvious that every character I’ve been studying recently paid off, that every past attempt reading fiction has been paying off (my much speedier recognition of doing hand/body/head/eye gestures do to reading about them constantly in fiction descriptions, my practice reading narrative descriptions, my practice reading Priest’s style of writing descriptions, my practice reading Priest in general giving me a big help in being familiar with some of the word choice, my recent fiction reading practice giving me a HUGE boost in getting better at recognizing proper names even when I don’t know the characters for the names and even when there’s no ‘introduction’ line explaining that it’s a name). Last time I tried to read Guardian without a dictionary, I was skimming and just following the dialogue and a few very clear actions. This time, a couple months have passed since then, and oh WOW I could actually READ for the gist of the PLOT AHHHHH!!!
I am clearly over-relying on the dictionary in Pleco a LITTLE bit, because I KNOW the web novels I’m reading right now are way easier than Priest’s writing. If I can read Guardian for the gist of the plot WITHOUT a dictionary, then I definitely don’t need the dictionary for every other sentence in a simpler novel. But that’s a different thing. The main point is AHHH I READ GUARDIAN TODAY!!!!
I STILL want to get good enough to read it for details when I read it all the way through, but ahhh I am SO ABSOLUTELY OVER THE MOON ABOUT WHAT I JUST DID TODAY.
READING SO MUCH RECENTLY IS PAYING OFF!!!! AAAAAAHHHHH ToT I am so HAPPY.
---
Ok trying to be calmer for a moment. OH. OKAY. So, practical things to note:
I ABSOLUTELY want to read through Hoenig’s Chinese Character’s book now and finish it, along with my other hanzi reference books. I feel like a TON of the unknown words I just read in Guardian... I could have vaguely comprehended if I’d just recognized the characters. And since adjectives can get creative and might not always be the Most common words, I think just having a broad base of character knowledge would help a ton. Even if I have to look words up in a dictionary ultimately, I REMEMBER words much better when I already know the characters that make it.
I absolutely should keep learning from my most common word flashcard decks. Those bastards are helping me practically, more than any other ‘formal’ study method I’m doing. And yes, they’re helping more than the HSK list flashcard decks. My common word flashcard decks seem to be roughly including most words I run into repeatedly when reading novels, along with most words I repeatedly see in shows. Of all my vocabulary study resources, that’s the one giving me the fastest ‘payoff’ of “I will immediately use this and it immediately boosts my understanding.”
I absolutely should keep practice reading! I should keep reading my web novels in Pleco, and keep reading my books lying around - I read some of Grimm’s Fairy Tales in Chinese yesterday (I have a dual reader in english then Chinese, so I can reference the english version of stories if I get confused). I have NO idea what ‘reading level’ that Fairy Tale book is, but I know I CAN read the stories for the gist plot, and since I can then I SHOULD since its great practice. (Also, this feeds into why I should focus on learning more characters - so many adjective/descriptor words in this book would probably make immediate sense like hop/frog/wolf/croak/scream/fall/etc if I just could recognize the characters I read so I could more easily remember the words as I run into and learn them).
So like, in summary: - LEARN SOME MORE CHARACTERS, FOCUS! - KEEP STUDYING THE MOST COMMON WORD LISTS, THEY HELP! - KEEP READING, ITS AMAZING!
AAAAAAHHHH I CAN NOT BELIEVE I READ SOME OF GUARDIAN TODAY. I CAN’T BELIEVE TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY I ACTUALLY MANAGED TO FOLLOW SOME OF THE ACTUAL PLOT COHERENTLY INSTEAD OF JUST SNIPPETS. IM SO HAPPY. IM SOOOOO HAPPYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
for personal reference! I! Started learning! Chinese! August 2019! It is June 2020 right now! I’ve gotten here in just under a year!
#rant#guardian#zhen hun#reading progress#I AM SO OVER THE MOON YOU HAVE NO IDEA#I CANT EXPRESS IT#past-me would be in disbelief and as happy as i am NOW#as a lil self comparison#when I got to this point in french I felt pretty hyped#ok so like realistically my comprehension may be? idk maybe like 80-85%??#whatever it is i can follow the plot now and THAT? THAT IS#INVALUABLE

Tell me what you think about it in the asks/comments/messages. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS NOT THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE STORY. If this is your first time stumbling upon Bed of Roses, thank you for stopping by! The rest of the story is in my masterlist, the link is in my bio - can't put the link here or else the post will disappear from the tags.

"It's the moment night time seems weaker and everything seems easier to figure out"
Chapter 20
Paris
You hold Roger's hand as you wait in line for the immigration officer to check your passports. The activity in itself is something the both of you did many, many times before - you travelled a lot with the band.
But this was different. You were not only alone with Roger, but there was nothing concerning you - his mood, your job, nothing. You feel at ease.
Roger's idea to go somewhere where none of you knew very well was brilliant. Since you're outside of your comfort zone anyways, you were both more easy going, not overthinking anything, just spontaneous. You knew the time where you would talk about your relationship and how you want to deal with everything would come, but you weren't stressing about it. You would think about it once the time came - there was no reason to be concerned now.
Cause now you could only feel Roger's touch, hear him humming something - you couldn't believe he was humming La Vie En Rose, the most cliche Paris song of all times, but of course he was. His shoulders are relaxed, and he brushes his thumb against the skin on your hand. His smell is all around you.
You could really immerse in the presence each other, now. Ever since you left London, where almost everything between you happened, you didn't really knew anything else - the fields on the window, the french being spoken by the people on the cabin next to yours. So you just laid your head on his lap as he ran his fingers through your hair and told you about the little things you missed.
His eyesight has gotten worse, and now he can't really do anything without his contacts. He met David Bowie in an award show, and he thought of you - he knew how much you liked him. He still knew all of Fleetwood Mac's 1974 album songs by heart - he kept the album you left in the old flat.
And also stuff about the boys. John's kid was a cute, quiet boy, just like his dad, and he didn't enjoy any of Roger's songs when he went to rehearsals. Veronica was pregnant with another baby - Roger's pretty sure it's a girl. Brian was still thinking about finishing his PhD, but never got around doing it - his schedule is too crazy. Freddie was growing tired of the long hair and clean face, and kept thinking about changing his looks, but couldn't decide on what he would do. He told you that ever since Freddie and Mary broke up, he started seeing more guys - none of you thought much about it. It was just another aspect of Freddie's life.
Roger kept writing songs now, even when they were on tour or at home. He was getting annoyed at the "No Synths" rule in the band, and tried to convince them to drop it. But he was happy with the new album - he enjoyed how they simplified the process of writing it, and thought mostly about writing songs they can play live the same way they play it in studio. The last time they did it was in their first album.
You just kept looking up at him, his defined jaw glowing against the sun, his bright blue eyes looking down at you to watch your reaction, your grin once he told you he finally finished writing Sheer Heart Attack, a song he tried to get done and in an album ever since 1974.
And now the immigration officer called you, and you laughed as you watched Roger try to speak french to the guy before taking the matter into your own hands.
And when he asked you what was your relationship with him, you just smiled and said "mon copain".
-
You knew Roger chose the hotel as you packed in London, sitting between all the boxes so he could use your phone. You didn't pay attention to which hotel he picked, but once you got to the Champs-Élysées, you knew he spent too much money.
You got off the cab at the Four Seasons George V Hotel, a building that was basically a modern castle, and you stared at him, shocked. "Roger, you didn't do this", you told him, your eyes wide as you entered the spacious and luxurious lobby, your luggage already being taken to your room as the lady on front desk recognized Roger. "Did what?", he asked jokingly, raising his brow at you, even though he knew what you meant. "This hotel. It's too nice and probably a fortune", you told him, and he shrugged. "Hey, we deserve it. We always did. But now we can afford it", he winked, and then took the room keys from the front desk.
"C'mon, I want to see how you're going to react to the Penthouse Suite", he laughed, and you coughed. "Um, I'm sorry? The what now?", you asked, and he playfully pulled you into the elevator.
He kept looking at you the whole lift ride, excited and nervous - he wanted you to like it, to enjoy his efforts, to take him back into your life somehow.
When he opened the door and walked to the side, his old genuine smile was back on his lips, and you couldn't help but smile back, even before taking a glimpse into the room.
And what you saw surprised you - everything looked expensive, but still comfortable. You first entered a huge living room, and every couch looked comfortable enough to sleep in. Then you walked to the bedroom, and the huge bed caught your eye - it was big enough to fit comfortably at least five of you. The bathroom looked like a spa, a huge bathtub in the middle of it, a delicate statue of a woman under the window that overlooked the Champs-Élysées.
You walked to the balcony with Roger beside you, and he laughed when you gasped.
The Eiffel Tower looked back at you, glimmering at the sunset.
You looked at Roger.
"You're unbelievable, you know."
He smirked. "I'm just trying to get you in bed, though", he told you, and you laughed as you walked closer to him.
"You did that when you didn't have a penny, Rog. You don't have to get us a huge suite with artwork everywhere and a view of the Eiffel Tower", you said, bringing him closer to you by his collar as he snaked his arms around your waist.
"I never have to do anything. I do it because I want to. Because I love you", he whispered, his breath against your lips, teasing, feeling like the ghost of a touch.
"I love you, Roger", you told him, moving your hands to the back of his neck and pulling him in for a kiss.
-
You held his hand as the cool wind passed through your bodies. It was the next day, and you've decided to walk to the Louvre by the side of the Seine.
It would be faster if you got on a cab, but the view of the Seine, the sounds of the city and the smell of pastries and perfume made everything feel even more like a dream. You were still tired from last night, and the night before it - you and Roger were acting like a couple in honeymoon ever since you met again, stolen kisses and arms wrapped around each other, trying to make up for the lack of touch in the last couple years.
And once you were alone, you'd hug and touch and kiss and fuck passionately wherever - sloppy kisses and love bites all over each other, first in London and now here. It didn't feel like you were together again for only about 36 hours - so much has happened, yet time passed by so fast. It was like you lost touch with reality ever since you looked at his hands on the pub.
When you thought of being alone in New York, it felt like a past life. But the weird thing was how your first years with Roger also felt like another life - you wouldn't act the way you did again, ever. But you were grateful for both times of your life. You felt like you could never get here, to Paris and to Roger, if those things didn't happen.
You got to the Louvre and you were surprised at Roger's interest - he wasn't simply acting interested while trying to get you to leave somewhere else with him. He was genuinely interested in the art, commenting about each style and dropping trivia about artists.
"Someone has been spending some time with Freddie, I suppose", you noted, and he gave you a half smile. "Well, the person responsible for bringing culture into my days spend some time away. I had to look for substitutes", he said, and you jokingly nudged at him.
He still looked at you adoringly once you started talking to him about the excellent state of conservation the mummy was in, or once you started analysing "L’Européenne".
You both kept quiet as you watched the Mona Lisa, only holding hands as you tried to get closer to the painting, dozens of visitors separating you from it. It was a time for reflection, too. The Mona Lisa invited you to think about yourselves, her neutral expression making you wonder - seeing it was one of your life long goals, and now you're realizing it with Roger. Being with Roger was something else you struggled to achieve, ever since the first time you saw him. But now it was the time to realize dreams - hell, you'll start working at the British Museum in a few days.
But you got distracted as soon as you got to the Venus de Milo. Roger snaked his arms around your waist from behind you and pressed a slow kiss under your lobe before whispering "You look just like her".
You felt a goosebump on your neck, but you tried to laugh it off. "I can think of a few things we don't have in common, though", you said, and he rubbed his nose on the curve of your neck. "Like what?", he whispered.
"I'm gonna start the list with the basics: arms", you told him, and he laughed against your skin. "I can think of a few other things, too", he tells you, back at kissing your neck. "Yeah? Like what?", you asked, and he sucks on your skin for a few moments, hitching your breath. "Your skin is softer", he says, and then lightly bites you, running his tongue over it to sooth it. "And you taste amazing. Everywhere", he whispers again, and you bite your lips as you feel another goosebump on your neck, and it didn't go unnoticed by Roger. "And the way you react to me”, he whispered, wetting his lips. "God, it kills me", he said, running his fingers over the area where the goosebump was.
It was a public place, but it didn't cross your mind when you turned around and pulled him in for a kiss, making it deeper as your tongue massaged Roger’s. His fingers brushed over your exposed skin, and you could feel how strong his grip on your waist was, wrinkling the fabric of your summer dress - probably inappropriate. You pulled him even closer to you by his hair, already used to its new length after two nights. It was only when you broke apart to recover your breath that you noticed how you were making out in a public place, and only because Roger told you.
"I know we're in public and I'm trying to be more discrete now, but all this artwork just made you look even more beautiful, like you belong around them. I just couldn't hold myself any longer", he said.

The warm water ran through your fingers as you filled the bathtub, only in your robe, as Roger spoke with the concierge on the bedroom. He told you he was getting champagne, but you didn't see why the concierge would go to the bedroom for it. Anyways, you wanted a warm bath.
After the Venus, you and Roger had a hard time keeping your hands away from each other. So you didn’t argue when he suggested you take a cab to the hotel.
The cabbie was an older man with a very rosy skin, and he barely knew how to speak english, but he sure tried - specially with Roger. You were suspecting he knew who Roger is, and Roger apparently thought the same, an amused look on his face as the driver tried to continue the conversation with him.
He was looking amused for another reason, too. His hands took his time on your legs, his long fingers brushing over your inner thighs, making you press them together as you tried to control your breathing. Roger kept talking to the driver as he slowly moved his fingers closer to you again, and you bit your lips to hold a moan when he pressed two fingers against your core.
You were already wet from all the teasing, and it goes through the lace of your lingerie, wetting Roger’s digits. He took his fingers away from you, and you frown as he rubs his two fingers against his thumb, smirking at you.
Then the driver asks him something and he turns to answer, putting his hand on your knees and then quickly sliding them up, moving them to your core again, massaging your clit for a few seconds. He looks at you so he can see your reaction, and you can hear the driver’s voice as you grip on Roger’s arm so he keeps touching you, pressing your lips together to keep quiet.
He keeps smirking as the conversation with the driver goes on, and you decide you can tease him, too. You move your hand from his arm to his leg, and he moves his gaze back into yours as you move your hand slowly to his inner thigh. His eyes get wider once you run your finger over his length, his cock already getting hard and visible through his always tight pants. The driver called his name so he answers another question, and you wrap your hand around him through the fabric of his trousers.
His breathing audibly hitches and he tries to be discrete by making it into a cough. He answers the driver and then looks at you, but you’re looking forward, innocently. He smirks again and then pulls your lingerie to the side, and, without more teasing, puts his two fingers inside of you. You gasp, and the driver looks at you suspiciously as Roger starts pumping his fingers inside of you.
But then the car stops in front of the hotel.
You take your hand away from Roger and he does the same, feeling like two children who got caught with your hands inside the cookie jar. Roger pulls out his wallet from his pocket so he can pay the cabbie, his fingers still glistening as he holds the leather wallet.
You then walk to your room without saying anything until you close the door. “So, that guy was pretty close to figuring out our little teasing game, huh”, he said, unbuttoning his shirt. “I was pretty close, too”, you said, winking, and he smirked. “I guess you want to go back to where we were before getting interrupted?” he raised his brow.
But you wanted to tease him a bit more. So you nodded a no. “Actually, Rog, I think I want to take a warm bath”, you came closer to him, wrapping your fingers on the back of his neck. “That’s a really good idea, in fact”, he said, and started undoing his belt. But you held his hand in place. “But you won’t join me”, you said, and he pouted in protest. “Not until you get me some champagne. I thought you were gonna be romantic before luring me into bed, Taylor”, you said, and he laughed. You let go of him and turn around.
“Can you unzip me, please?”, you ask, and you can hear him scoff, annoyed at your teasing, but then you feel him slowly unzipping your summer dress, then moving his hands to your shoulders as he slides your dress down.
You're not wearing a bra, so you can feel the cold wind from the AC on your hard nipples, getting even harder as you felt his lips on your neck once again, his hands pulling your dress down at your hips before it falls to the ground.
Then you move away from Roger’s grasp as you walk to the bathroom, without looking back at him, and you can feel his eyes on you as he watches your hips sway as you walk, only in your burgundy lace panties, your hair cascading on your back.
And now you’re inside the bathtub already, feeling the smell of roses and cinnamon from the bath salts you used, waiting for Roger. You hear the door close, and the concierge is gone.
“Rog? I’m waiting for you”, you say out loud, waiting for his answers. “Actually, I think I’m not in the mood for a bath. But your champagne is here”, he says, and you can hear a fake tiredness in his voice.
“Are you sure you’re gonna leave me here, alone, in this bathtub? I’m gonna have to do something to let the time pass, you know. And you’re gonna hear me do it without doing anything about it?”, you asked with an affected voice. You haven’t teased him in so long, you forgot how fun it was, especially cause he always teased you back.
“As tempting as your bathroom plans sound, I’m also alone here, you know. And your champagne is here. Can’t believe you’re gonna waste it after I got it just for you”, he said, and you laughed. You got up from the bathtub and barely dried yourself on a towel before putting your robe back on and walking to the bedroom.
Roger was sitting against the bed’s headrest, completely naked and rock hard. You moved your hand to your lips and you let out a sigh at the vision. He looked like a greek god - Apollo, maybe, with his golden locks shining against the afternoon sun, his skin glowing under the golden hour lights coming through the window. The bed was filled with red rose petals under him, the smell filling your lungs.
He opened his eyes when he heard your sigh, and he smirked at you. “Get the champagne and come here already”, he said, pointing his head at the table where a Dom Pérignon bottle sat on an ice bucket, and you did so. You climbed on top of the bed and started moving towards him. “Are you suggesting we play with food, Mr Taylor?”, you asked, and he nodded. “Give it to me and I’ll show you”, he told you, and you gave it to him as you sat on his thighs.
He popped the bottle open and some of the liquid poured over the edges. He licked it, looking at you, before undoing your robe with his free hand. He pulled it to the sides, looking at you with admiration as if he was unwrapping a Christmas gift.
You took the robe off and threw it to the side, and his free hand moved to the back of your neck and pulled you in for a kiss. It was a slow, delicate kiss, where Roger tried showing you love, admiration, respect. Not only how much he wants you, but how much he cares about you.
But you pulled him closer to you, moving closer to him, and your bare breasts touched his naked torso, making the two of you moan.
That gave a new sense of urgency to the kiss, and after a few seconds, Roger broke it apart. “Tell me if you want me to stop”, he told you, and you nodded. He poured a bit of champagne above your collarbone, the cold liquid making you shiver, and then Roger’s tongue licked it, warm and wet.
He looked up at you to make sure you liked it, and you gave him a quick nod. He smirked, then poured champagne on your other collar bone, and licked it off again.
As you seemed to like it, he poured champagne between your breasts, licking it off right after and waiting a few seconds to see if you’d protest. He then finally poured a bit of champagne on one of your breasts, right above the nipple, licking you and the drink.
He kept doing it for a while, sucking on your skin that tasted like champagne and cinnamon, the smell of roses intoxicating him.
You broke away from his touch, and he looked at you, confused. “Can I try it?”, you asked, and he nodded, passing you the champagne bottle.
You started above his collarbone, and you could feel him moving under you. You wondered how much he would be able to wait before fucking you, considering he was already hard before you licked champagne off of him.
Once you poured champagne over his chest, you didn’t lick fast enough, and a drop of champagne rolled down on his torso. You leaned in to lick it right before it fell to his pelvis, mere inches away from his cock.
The feeling of your tongue close to his length did it for him - he had to have you, right now. He gripped your hips and motioned them up, and you understood what he wanted, so you got on your knees and stood right above him as he positioned himself on your entrance.
You slowly moved down, feeling him filling you, and you let your head move back as you moan in pleasure, your moan intensifying as you heard Roger’s voice whispering your name.
You started riding him slowly, small moans leaving your lips every time you felt him bottoming out inside of you, but you wanted him to go deeper.
So you got off of him, and he grunted, frowning at you as he saw you on your knees in bed. But once you leaned forward, putting your weight on your elbows, he smirked. “I want to feel you deeper”, you told him.
He moved to your back, spreading your legs a little more so he had better access to you, and you both cursed under your breath as he got inside you again slowly, so you could get used to his size on this new position, his grip on your ass getting stronger once he was completely inside you again.
You moaned his name, and he moved his hands to your waist so he could move inside of you with more control.
He developed a rhythm after a few moments, and all you could hear was the sound of your skin on his and the moaning (and cursing) coming from his lips and yours, too. You could feel yourself closer to your orgasm.
It wasn’t long before you reached your high, crying his name as you pulled the duvet into your fists.
Roger kept thrusting through your high, but once he noticed you were done, he pulled out. "Can you turn?", he asked, and without much thought, you turned over and layed down, wrapping your legs around his hips.
He gave you a tired smile and then got inside you again, thrusting. "I like to look at you", he told you, closing his eyes, focusing on his movements. He was like that for a few seconds, and you could see the beads of sweat forming on his face, his blonde locks glueing themselves to his forehead.
As his movements got more intense, you could see he was close. "Y/N? Can I pull out?", he asked, and you nodded a yes. He liked to do that sometimes, when you could get messy, but it has been so long you nearly forgot.
So he pulled out and his cum fell on your torso, covering your breasts and stomach. He fell to your side and stayed there for a few moments, before opening his eyes and looking at your torso. "Sorry for the mess", he said, getting up and going to the bathroom. You smiled when you heard the sink open, and your smile got wider as Roger appeared with a warm cloth on your hands.
"I guess this helps", he shrugged, wiping his cum from your torso carefully. Once he cleaned most of it, he giggled. "Maybe a bath is not a bad idea, after all. Will you join me?", he asked, offering you a hand.

Wow you art has improved so much! Aaaa ive been watching you for i think over a year noe and just wowie.. Any tips for drawing muscles/toned people? Or boys in generL? Have a lovely day!!!
thank you!!! yeah from having watched myself this whole time, my drawing does tend to get a lot better year-to-year. but luckily(?) for followers who havent been around since forever, i've been able to draw a lot more in the past couple of years than i did before that, so the difference is more dramatic to look at. nowadays i can see changes a couple months apart, but thats probably a lot more obvious to me since im the one drawing the stuff.i'm definitely not like, any amazing source for artistic advice...my process is a mess & since im not really a Serious Artist there's a lot of repetitive practicing stuff they might make you do in art school but i'd never bother to make myself do otherwise. i mean, "draw from life" and "just draw a lot" is stuff you always hear, coz i mean its true and all. i ought to reference pix more often to draw figures but i dont, but you should. it just makes things easier on yourself and you dont have to try carrying around a 3d model of the human skeleton in your head. just try to look up a picture if you dont know how to draw a figure, it's the opposite of cheatinganyways thats also vague advice. one tip i have for drawing figures? is that learning how to draw [insert any type of build] is really just about learning how to draw any and all types of builds. like, to learn how to draw a muscular body, youre really just asking yourself to understand how to draw any kind of body. the interior structure of all bodies is very very similar! bones and muscle placement alike. to get different "types," you pretty much take that Default Figure and maybe modify a few different proportions of the skeleton (wider shoulders, how taller people mostly gain the length in the legs, depth of the rib cage, sheer size/scale of the whole figure, etc) and then stuff such as the mass of muscle/fat are more of a detail. the building blocks of any figure are really gonna be the same no matter whatjust like drawing body types, drawing any gender's body type is also really really similar actually. a lot of like, "beginners drawing guide," especially when it comes to art thats about any kind of style over straightforward photorealism, way too often has some weak section about the difference between drawing men and women. its really annoying and tells you helpful stuff like, drawing women = really angular transition between a narrow waist to the hips, draw them contrapposto like an off-balance S, sexy poses, and then give some inaccurate guidelines for how to draw breasts. and then to draw men its about giving them the shape of a yield road sign, action poses with limbs apart, less curvy more angular although that doesn't mean anything, really wide chest and shoulders and narrow waist, etc. not only is that Cis Hell but its basically just caricatures, peoples bodies dont look like that and thats just telling you to copy a certain kind of stylistic shortcut. which you can do, but its not really actually anatomy. and the thing is that like, even if you stylize your drawings, you only Get Good from knowing the reasoning and rules behind any shortcuts. to simplify drawings well actually takes a lot of artistic skill. so basically, drawing boys doesnt really have any specific set of rules that dont apply to drawing girls or anyone else. even if you're talking about cis boys and cis girls, bodies are much much more similar than they are different and signal gender much less than you might think—clothes are really what people look at, and how flat-chested someone is, vs any fundamental difference in the shape or silhouette of a body. even if someone's like "oh, well, if someone has a snatch then the bones of their hips/legs are set further apart" like uhhh thats not an actually noticeable difference in reality. the width of everyones hips varies, and thigh gaps are not much of a real thing. even rules like how fat distribution varies between men and women, like that men's weight gain goes mainly to the stomach, women's goes first to the hips, is not a real hardset law of nature. thats how you get people out there drawing fat girls as just having slightly thicker bodies with wider hips and larger thighs/butts/breasts and keeping a relatively small waist. sure, some people have that body type. but once people get into the pattern of thinking that stuff like that is accurate because weight gain to the stomach only applies to men, they suck. what i'd say about thinking about learning how to draw any kind of variation of body type is: learn how to draw any variations of body types!!! everyones body has a slightly different structure, and if you're fine with simplifying bodies, simplify all bodies, and if you want to draw really varied figures, think about how the bodies of all figures you draw vary.anyways, finally, about being Muscular though!! again, the way muscles look on anybody will vary, especially in terms of What Kind of muscular they are. like, being sort of overall Built looks vastly different from like, wwe muscular, or bodybuilding muscular. lets not even talk about that last one. but even if someone has muscles built up through like, athletic reasons, different sports and stuff have different workouts and will build muscles in different areas. to get to some specific tips: one way to suggest someone is muscular is to simply broaden the limbs!! muscles in the back and stomach really don't grow outward nearly as much as say, leg and arm muscles. gonna look a little wider even when resting, because the mass of the muscles themselves have increased. thats not to say that in a neutral position you can, for example, see someone's sick biceps, because when the arm is resting at the sides, the bicep is mostly facing forwards. arm muscles are wild.another thing to draw defined muscles is to recognize that muscles make people curvier. it is funny that crap guides might try to tell you that cis women are the curvy and angular ones, because that would really apply much more to a muscular cis man. most growing muscles are going to show up in the surface of the body. but the muscles still diminish at their "roots"—think how arm muscles will swell out, but come back in to attach at the elbows, shoulders, and wrist. they make the curvature of the body more dramatic. this can show up in the silhouette, but another way to make a figure you're drawing seem more obviously muscular is to put in details that "outline" the muscles all over the surface of the body, not just the outermost muscles that affect the body's silhouette. don't forget sweet butt muscles. largest muscles of all. i'm gonna try to attach some hopefully useful images to help illustrate some of these points, i'll see if i can do that by reblogging this. if not i'll just make a new post in a minute here

Episode #6: “Can i PLEASE get a blindside.” - Jared
ok so basically the game has been sooo quiet and ive like. felt dead. idk. i had a breakdown last night bc of it and i cried on my couch (KNOW THERE WAS A LOT MORE THAN THIS LKSDJGKLDSGLS I WOULDNT CRY PURELY BC OF THAT) but yaaa and now im better but like the entire day i was throwing up in class (or like feeling anxious im exaggerating sorry) about going home.
i didnt want mo out but with that being said i didnt want anyone out?? after i mentioned to him that stephen/mo were targeting each other, rhys came to me with the idea that like him jared chloe and i should make a chat, and i was down for that bc it would secure my positioning and like ALSGKSDG who'd flip on an alliance THIS early.. right?? right..
chloe was really not talkative with me. stephen/jared were active so i appreciate that immensely. im just thrown off. i dont really know who i can or cant trust.
OK ALSO SIDE NOTE CHRIS SENT ME [IM NOT EXAGGERATING] 55+ MSGS SPILLING TEA ABOUT HOW THE TUATHA HAD AN OG ALLIANCE WITH EVERYONE BUT MITCH + MAYNOR - which i knew about but LASKGLDKS AHHHH. and he leaked that stephen wanted kori/bryce targeted and i leaked that to bryce to further stephens target. IM JUST SO MESSY LOL
also i kind of predicted a swap likeee omfg. and i dont know how i feel. i kind of felt safe on my tribe??? but like.. oh no. anyway, my tribe isnt super dominant in challenges or anything (compared 2 the other tribe who has bryce/stephen/drew), but i think we can win a lipsync since we have a woman, gay men, and a metrosexual male who has an outgoing personality (and i mean that in the nicest way obviously). IDK I HOPE WE WIN BC THAT TRIBAL WAS HORRIFIC AND I LOVE MO SO MUCH AND AHH.
ill probs give a video soon in more depth with what chris said. yalls deserve it.. oops period.
I HOPE YALL CAN FORGIVE ME. im eating hotdog. bye bye love u all.
Wow I like the whole tribe! Alyssa is probably my front runner of talking and honestly she's great! I am in her spell ahhhh but hey JARED is here too woo! I think at least with Mitch and Zach too I'll be safe but I'll see! This challenge could either go really well or really badly for us but I'm excited to do anything creativity!!
I absolutly love my tribe at the moment, i'm getting along well with alot of them except Kori who i haven't spoken to much at all but im confident in our abilities to win! Jared is talking a little bit about wanting the game to pick up a little bit and i agree to some extent however blindsiding someone just for the sake of a blindside isn't smart gameplay so im just gonna lay low nd continue making those strong bonds here there and everywhere to hopfully come out on top should we end up at tribal
youtube
Can i PLEASE get a blindside
________________________________________________________________
hi it's 6 am but rhys fucking filmed vertically so if we lose he automatically has my vote
I feel good but also scared. I dont think I'll do as good of a job as I hope, but it also is turning out decently so far. My biggest concern is time. With having work tomorrow, I can only do the editing on my lunch break of 90 minutes, then whenever i get home which probably wont be until 6, given the upload time that leaves me with about 3 hours in total. Hopefully I'll be able to work with Rhys and Jack's stuff, as i think it'll be easier for me to do it then. Regardless, I'm gonna be a zombie but LOL this is the second Wednesday in a row I stayed up late except this is not for school and instead of 3 hours, ima get 2 hours of sleep haha that is so sad and funny and heebee jeebee zoinks, alright goodnight
Two things: 1) there's really nothing quite like making a fool of yourself multiple times in a single org, just to be immune for one round. 2) i am horrible at looking for idols
So Matt just told me he thinks we’re gonna have a double tribal right before merge which is like ew I hate that throw it out please, speaking of throwing out uh Kori can go because he’s wearing on my nerves like yes we’re gonna get things done on time calm down please and thanks.
these people are actually delulu if they think that video is winning. no fucking way we are winning. time to go to tribal!
So the swap has happened, and I get what is almost probably my worst case scenario player-wise. All of my close allies, with the exception of Kori, are currently on Cyrena. Meaning that winning immunity isn't even really good, since it puts them in danger.
I think there's a way to make this bad situation good though. Getting to finally work with Michael, Matt, Loris, and Drew can actually be a blessing in disguise. If I get on their good sides now, they might clue me into their plans once merge rolls around. That's the hope, anyway. For now my goal is just to survive being swapped with a bunch of people I've barely spoke to!
The past 24 hours have been major toughie for me. Staying up late and then trying to manage editing a video, work, and time constraints, and I won't lie, its been exhausting, but I didn't want to let my tribe down, or anyone down I guess. A little ways through, I kinda felt pretty defeated and then learning at last minute it was due an hour before I predicted made me panic A LOT internally, but it does seem like the tribe likes it so if we do lose and if they do vote me out, I can look back at this and feel like I did something right.
Well a lots happened and to be honest at times life and this game move too quick for me to even remember if I've mentioned it. We swapped, and I'm trying to just keep myself afloat however I can.
The challenge was overly stressful and I have no idea if we'll pull it out. Editing has been so stressful and I've found new appreciation for the people that do it. I just hope whatever I whip together will just be enough so that I can breathe and really take stalk of my new situation.
youtube
So, I haven't been around a whole bunch recently. However I'm glad we didn't go to tribal, that could've been a reason if my name came up. So I'm glad I have time to more cement my bonds on this tribe and keep my name out of peoples mouths.
We JUST WON IMMUNITY WOOHOO. I was kind of nervous with a music challenge considering the only other one I did previously I did not do the greatest in :P. Both videos were amazing and im so glad Eve and Jones's mom liked ours significantly greater than the other one! As far as my position is concerned, I am reunited with Jared and our relationship is still strong I think so that's good. Stephen I am HOPING will be ok by just latching on to Kori at least for premerge. Those two are still the ones I trust the most, but I also like Alyssa Chris and Zach. I WISH i could connect more with jack, but i feel like every time we play together it gets more difficult to hold a conversation, so that's a yikes. Jared myself and stephen are diligently working on the idol search, but it's likely already found. I'm pretty sure there are too many components for someone to just find it by themselves
WELL. Im a target tonight! God we really do love that for me. We really do. Kori, eat my fucking ass. You leave me on read all the time. And then you have the NERVE. THE ACTUAL NERVE. to be like "omg stop slipping in my dm's!" Boo if you didn't leave me on read constantly then maybe i would actually want to speak to you! an actual moron. And then STEPHEN HAS THE FUCKING AUDACITY to me like "ya lol i'll be at tribal i'll make the decision between you and Kori at tribal!". BOI. THAT IS NOT HOW YOU GET TRUST IN SOMEONE. Its fucking ridiculous. Thank god Michael is in my corner, hopefully drew and bryce too. I am NOT getting 15th right now, no way. I am BETTER than this. i am going to make it work, tim gunn style. maybe its time to break the fajitas and channel their energy once again
Why do I go on the initiative literally ever? I'm clearly bad at it, I wasn't even remotely thinking things through and I SHOULD have let Stephen or someone else suggest someone but no I had to be mildly greedy and wanna send home Matt whom I barely DM.
I already flopped editing the video, and now here I am flopping the social/stategy game that I love playing supposedly.
Of course I tried reaching out to Michael and Drew FOOLISHLY because I wanted to build trust and maybe work with them. So naturally Michael tells Matt because ofc they'd be close as would Drew probably since he and Michael have been together since Day 1. As it stands I'm stuck praying Loris is gonna vote with me and it just sucks because I'm so bad at this game.
I'm trying to keep a cool head right now because there's still time. Stephen and I are trying to work logistics, see if we need to switch the vote to say Michael in case of an idol, but I'm not sure Loris/Bryce would be on board for that.
There's a pretty good chance that I'm definitely dead. But I'ma fight to the bitter end!
Today I learned from Stephen that Kori is in some dangerous water. He I guess said Matt's name to Michael who told Matt and now them and Drew are voting Kori. However Bryce and Stephen and perhaps Loris are all voting Matt. Now this is good if it works because honestly that group having to endure their numbers dwindling is good for my game. It only leaves Jack and Alyssa but I think we better be careful because I can see both of them slipping through the inevitable war zone that is gonna be happening.
Today's been a pretty informative day for me. After losing the immunity challenge by a hair, I was worried because I didn't think I had bonded very well with my current tribe through One World, luckily for me, that doesn't seem to be their biggest concern at the moment.
During the initial stages of the vote, I talked to Kori and the two of us decided Matt would be the easiest target to take out. I was leaning towards voting Matt because we hadn't talked very much, so hearing Kori was on board right away simplified things for sure. Bryce and Loris both seem to be on board with it too so I shouldn't have anything to worry about at this point.
In the morning, things got a whole lot more complicated. Matt found out he was the target through Michael, and began his campaign to get Kori out instead of himself. I'm not entirely sure why Michael decided to do this, but it doesn't make much of a difference at this point. Matt campaigned to me, and I sorta pretended to be on the fence. I was listening to what he said, but Kori is realistically one of my closest allies, there's no way I'm voting him out to side with people I had just met.
Once campaign season got under way, I had a conversation with Chris. Chris tells me that on original Orfeo, him, Loris, and Zach believed there was an alliance of Chloe/Sharky/Drew/Michael formed. This explains not only why Sharky was seen as an easy boot on swap-Tuatha, but also why Michael wants to keep Matt instead of Kori. With Chloe re-joining after tribal, him/Drew/Chloe/Matt would form a tight majority. Without Matt, they're a minority.
I proposed an idea to switch the vote from Matt to Michael or Drew. I said it was because I was worried about an idol, but this alliance is the real reason I wanted to do it. However, Kori, Loris, and Bryce are comfortable with the status quo and since it's not my neck on the line I didn't feel the need to push too hard.
Me, Kori, and Bryce now also have an alliance with Loris, which is cool? I haven't gotten very close with Loris yet but he seems like a smart player tied to Chris and Zach which spells good things for us working together in the future. Assuming I survive this vote and have a future, of course.
youtube
hi I think I might make it past final 15 that’s nice umm... I suggested an alliance of me Bryce Stephen Kori to counter the potential power of chloe Matt Michael and drew once chloe joins our tribe because my brain is massive. but now we’re like scared for idols . scary shih anyways like how r u I’m good.
________________________________________________________________
oh huh tribes r gonna be even again next round... so I have to make this conf by default just in case of a you know what wait no anna u said no more 24 hour challenges QUEEN ... thank god I can’t be bothered to delete this so she’s being SENT
Right now there's so many things running through my head with the introduction of Matts vote steal, because realistically i could convince him to give to me or i could keep him around as a potential shield. I don't want to do it to the guy but also a vote steal could shift the tides of the game in my favour later down the line. so it's a difficult decision and one id rather have more time to contemplate.
youtube
Wooo ok operation vote steal is a go and next round we’ll be swimming in green hopefully but with one world sis og tribe lines just ain’t it!
God im over this tribal. Like ugh these people really are under Kori's mist so like im probably going home. Do I think i might be able to survive? a small glimmer of hope says yes, but i'm not confident. God im just... so annoyed at this. Im clearly on the outs here and I just HOPE i can pull through i just am so scared. I know if i do leave though that I have fought my damn hardest to stay tonight. Im trying to think of the positives because its hard to do so because im being sad atm.. UGH. the fajitas really have failed me tonight, their light has dimmed and their guidance is no more. i am now with the darkness. we r one.
Oh my fucking god my heart is breaking. Matt is basically in such a deep hole he's going to go home, unless he plays an idol. And Alyssa has an idol. And she doesn't think it's smart to use it on him because Michael says he's just gonna go home next round. His social game hasn't been up to snuff and they're gonna boot him regardless, so she wants to keep us with power and let him go. And I agree with her. Which kills me. I'm usually able to just be a robot when it comes to this like yes I will make the smarter decision if it means I'll be emotionally torn, and this is such an instance. Luckily, it's not my idol to give up. Yes Alyssa says it's "our" idol but it's her call end of the day. I just... fuck. This is all stars man. And I'm actually starting to feel, for once.
Well it's about an hour before tribal and at least on it's surface it would seem Matt is going. I'm not confident though because any number of things COULD happen. I'm hoping there's no idol play, just because I feel like pre-merge just isn't a good look for me.
If Matt does pull something off, then kudos to him, and if it's me that'd make this my final confessional for the season. I've had such an amazing time playing and while I feel like I've been playing a lower key game on purpose I feel like I'm doing what I can to really come into my own. I hope the bonds I've made are gonna stick and that everything works out for us.
But if it doesn't I guess I'll have to find a way to be ok with that. This has been such a unique All-Stars experience so far, and I hope I can take what I've gotten from it and make myself better for it. (Also highkey hopefully this isn't my last confessional and I'm getting sentimental for no reason.)

Just wanted to ask (and feel free to not answer), but how do you draw so much so quickly? I'm always impressed by how fast you doodle or paint. Also, wanted to say that I appreciate your Barok and DGS art as a whole.
and with this ask i have finally reached an artist milestone 😭
Well theres a short answer and a REALLY long answer (which ill put under cut when i get there).
short answer: practice + refs
which.....can be an annoying thing to hear. And as someone who studies art and has bought a LOT of online courses trying to figure out how industry people can just churn out work like nothing. it feels like a let down every time i find out their big secret. just practice and photo refs. Every. Single. Time.
LONG ANSWER:
its how you studying your refs. heres how i do mine
sorry if this is rambly. but ill try my best to at least be clear. BUT THIS is the EXACT way i taught myself how to be quicker.
I do not know if youve taken any art classes but essentially one of the ways to study gesture drawing is by first tracing ur photo ref to get a sense of the flow/proportions of the body. youve probably seen a billion of these tutorials floating around:
So last year around hmmmm june/july? i was NOT looking to get better at my anatomy or gesture. i was actually trying to get better at clothes. but my problem was it took me so long to draw out a figure (which i was fine with cause i liked how my people looked at the time) that i could never really just focus clothing part.
So i told myself look. ur not looking to draw in this style like this forever. so for now SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY!!!! I WANT THE BAREBONES OF A HUMAN HERE TO MAKE A MANIQUIEN FOR CLOTHES OK
but how do i do that....
Im gonna use this piece as an example from my rise and yosuke fashion palooza month. FIRST u see i got all my photo refs together. i like those poses on the right and i want to switch out the clothes for the other ones i picked out. i trace out my poses. kind of like the tutorial up top but since this is about draping i was focused the exact places their waist/arms/legs/etc would bend.
and like the tutorial u turn off the photo ref and do a drawing based off that traced piece.
then i would turn on my refs and add on my clothes
And after a month of just doing that over and over and over. i was surprised to find that figures and poses were so much easier to understand when i would break them down like this. and once u get familiar with them the faster and more confidently you'll draw them.
I and still do this btw. heres my otasune from the last week
i used photo refs for all my sketches. if i cant find anything online to match what i want i just take photos of myself. and some might say well arent u just relying on reference TOO much?
AND AGAIN take it from someone who has spend a lot of money buying classes from their fav artists in the industry. The Secret of how they churn out so much cool work so fast always turns out to be this. practice and photo refs.
Every. Single. Time.(tho this is omitting a lot. im not getting into like they way they stylize their art work. that actually the fastest and funnest thing to do once u have ur base down)
Now PAINTING
The thing is, i dont actually post up all my work on this blog. So theres a ton of stuff you havent seen me do. These are some paintings i did 2 years ago for a class.
I already know how to pick my values and set up lighting. When you see me painting my figures now. i am not focused on learning these basics im actually just honing a technique.
you might see me post readmores with these kinds of wips. I lay in all my colors and lighting with the lasso tool. ALL THE MAJOR DECSIONS ARE DONE HERE
(the little miniature i add on the side basically tells me what the overall feeling is going to be when i blend in the lineart to be cohesive with my colors) ( also if you had any questions on my prepainting process tho. feel free to ask!!!)
and if you compare this wip to my finished piece youll actually find that i dont stray that far from what i've laid in.
everything happening at THIS stage is about feeling out how i want the textures to blend with one another and getting funky with some brush strokes.
and thats it? im not sure if any of this is helpful but if anything. i hope you come away from this feeling like what ive been doing here is nothing special. "THATS IT???? THATS ALL THERE IS??? well i could have done that :T"
exactly man. you can do ALL OF THIS aND MORE!!! I BELIEVE IN U :D
but ill let this be the last thing i leave u with my friend: my barok sketch and the refs i used for his boobies
