not sure if this point was made before on here but making annabeth not recognize percys intelligence (aside from being the butchering of her character arc) is also, like, so severely ooc if we keep her heritage in mind. the smartest girl at camp should have the clarity of mind to recognize that being smart comes in many shapes and i know she did have it before rick stripped her of characterization. hell, she should barely if ever complain about intelligence tbh because genuine stupidity is rare. everyone has their logic and their approach, percy has always been a particular way about his logic and decisions and he was always a certain "kind" of smart.

rick going back to the stupid percy jokes is already disappointing enough but it's also him not really understanding annabeth as a character + forgetting what the fuck he wrote before. a shame

it's definitely a choice to have annabeth value intelligence and then imply that she thought her bf (who she's known for five years at this point) was stupid by having her just now realize (after five years) that's he's actually "a pretty smart guy." and by a choice i mean a stupid one.

I just watched the UD trailer and my opinion:

If the film "Until Dawn" was called "Little hope", it would not be so offensive, agree. And I say this not only because I have hyperfixation on LH, but because the trailer touches more on the theme of reincarnation, an attempt to get out of the time loop, the cursed city (they have their own Megan LOL) than the wendigo. In fact, I'm waiting for this film to come out just to find out how right I will be.
