He was a suitable host...as he writhed on the ground...scratching the concrete floor. His mind couldn't supply his thoughts. Everything was static, felt static...fuzzing...numbing...

Distant echoes breaks his head...everything felt like he was submerged under water...if not water ... then this pain that was his companion all along..

Whatever noise outside...splitted his head in two. Really did he wants this to end. Right here and now...every movement shot soaring pain into his stomach that if he had eaten something before, he would have puked it out.

Not even a word made through his sore throat...only broken gasps and rasps made out...he wished to groan in pain but even this made his head swirl.

He wanted to move on...march on...but will he ever? Wasn't it too good for the likes of him? He wasn't even wanted here so there wouldn't be better.

Who will he meet again....Thorn? Thorn must still be alive...with Senator Amidala...as far as he remembered...it should be Scipio...why ....why can't...he remember...

He woke up...to a paradox...the surface was blooming in red...plants...he found himself stuck in the spot he lay. With that he realized, the planet was alive...and thus why people built higher and higher...to escape the Eldritch that calls itself core...and all lost to it, were critters running around to find their place to live. Fox did what a fox does in winter. He watched the planet shift its plates...rotates..even he was moved to the south..but never did he lift a muscle. Once again exhaustion lulled him into a deep sleep.

The next time he awoke was when a spacecraft crashed into the plain near him. He shifted his position...which was moving his finger to tap. That's the only thing he managed to do. It didn't felt long to be honest. Time ...he guessed was slower here...it felt normal...but it did bugged him to see faces he almost forgot about...his own face ....not literally...but close, because he was encanted like them... clones

Like i said it felt really tropey and by that i meant that it’s just Everything Good Happens forever and…..that’s it ? like idk we were building up to this huge catharsis sort of thing and then we got to it and it was so sudden and not a good payoff and just kind of nothingburger of an ending . the fact that everyone just forgives siffrin bothers me, or at least the fact that they don’t confront them about the shit they’ve said and done. call me a mental illness villainizer but i think if you’re a fucking asshole and doing the most insensitive things to the people you care about then hey, i think those ppl have a right to fucking tell you off for it. likeeee idk being at your lowest point …… not an excuse …. not feeling it chief ……. like sure the message is to move past your mistakes or whatever but ? that doesn’t mean just getting away with it ??? and i just really don’t understand Why everyone forgives him. honestly at the end of the day the ending is just one problem, the root of which are the characters. everyone feels like trope cardboard cutouts. oh, this is the smart one. this is the smol bean. this is the himbo. and they all care for each other btw. Did u hear that? they all care for each other. we’re not really going to explain to you why these people are so close or what they went through together but just trust me man they’re sooo found famy. like …. okay. i’ve played 30 hours of this game and not once did i buy that any of the characters really cared about each other. like??? why???? Wat ? and this just breaks the ending more because literally whyyy do these people care about him so bad. and then it’s just whyyy does siffrin Have to tell them anything he doesn’t even seem to know them that well. everyone feels like colleagues and Just Friends at best. and so the ending just seems really forced. like it was written by that type of tumblr user who’s always talking about aww why does the found family have to break up after the end of the journey :( which is like fiiiiine. i guess. but u guys know that u have to build up to it right?? you can’t just tell me they’re Family Members(tm) 102829 times and that they super care about each other source: trust. you can’t just do that and then expect me to believe it ….. It feels unearned. the ending feels unearned and i don’ttttt understand what i’m supposed to take away from it . that it’s ok to fuck people up because you’re traumatized and insecure?? that you have to talk about your deepest problems with people you barely know??? i just dont know. Give me Morgana repairing her ties with Camelot, her brother Arthur, her bestfriend (or more ?) Gwen and her magical-can-relate-to-and-be-guided-by friend Merlin. Give me Merlin regaining the trust of Aithusa. Give me Merlin realising that Kilgarama was wrong, that he shouldn't trust him. Give me Merlin recognising that he treated Mordred unfairly and try to amend for his mistakes. Give me Aithusa fighting Kilgamamea. Give me the found family trope. Sprinkle that shit with some Merlin angst.

Someone please sit and listen to my insane ramblings about Joseph and Mary and their friendship they are everything to me their connection their parallels their shared past their friendship. A friendship born out of camaraderie. One day that ruined everything for us both. I died and you lived. We knew each other as strangers when we were alive and in our era and now in this isolated mansion we meet again as fellow hunters. What do you think was Joseph's first thought on seeing the former queen, once arrogant and proud, now a ghost in cheap red gown, paling skin and eyes that have witnessed horrors incomprehensible to the living. Would he pity her? Feel guilty? Not indifference. For how can you be indifferent towards someone who suffered the same tragedy as you but a hundred times worse. And what do you think Mary sees when she sees him? Does she remember him? The little boy and his twin brother who'd attend the king's court with their father. Or would Joseph prefer not to remind her. To kindle their friendship on current fellowship rather than a past forgotten familiarity.

He sees that throughout all the years of suffering she remains as temperamental and elegant as she was when she was a queen. Death and rot wouldn't shun her brilliance. A woman truly befitting of the noble lineage. Joseph would never admit that he secretly admires her resilience and courage, but what he would admit is that she is too haughty and hot-headed and sometimes a little too irritating with her teasing. Mary huffs and admonishes him for being rude to someone so much older than him for which Joseph has to remind her that technically he has lived more years than her.

Mary sees Joseph and wonders about the tragedy that befell this young man. Young. Because no matter how old he grows he will always be that young boy to her. She wonders about all those who fled the chaos and killings and their life afterwards. Did they live out a life of peace and calm and die satisfied? Or did they live a life of devoid of something or someone lost in the revolution. Like Joseph. Did they too spend the rest of their life chasing after long gone ghosts, a life of mental agony and restless hard work to make the impossible possible. Rejecting death and becoming something of a ghost themselves. Much like this young man well past his decades but still parading around with a youthful appearance. Everything against nature itself. But Mary cannot find it within herself to fault him. Separation can be such a cruel thing.

But then again, bygones will be bygones. The pain and tragedies will not fade but at least we can sit here together and talk about what glorious times we had in our past. Of what disappointments it were that we couldn't do what we wished to. It's a shame that we lost it all and are now trapped here. Two ghosts stuck in time. One alive and one dead. But it's okay. Let us clink our glasses of wine and laugh together while we reminisce about a past only you and I can remember. This will be foundation of our friendship and I will cherish it forever.
