PAIR. non-idol!jay x gn!reader GENRE. fluff, established relationship, timestamp WORD COUNT. 1.0k WARNINGS. none! NOTES. i am BACK i'm finally writing again and it's just so fun and refreshing to write when there's not like. a million tests in the next few days!! anyway hope you enjoy this jay fic because he seriously needs more love hello??!! @star-sim vannie this is for You tbh after u wrote that sunoo fic that rocked my world
when you walk into the kitchen and stifle a yawn, jay can’t help the laugh that escapes his lips. and the sound feels gentle; it alights the morning with clementine warmth and settles against your skin to fill that missing familiarity you spent minutes searching for as you restlessly tossed amid your sheets.
“go back to sleep,” jay murmurs, and you can hear the smile in his voice before he even turns around. water bubbles in a pot on the stove, and the metallic beep from the open fridge has him rushing back to grab an egg before closing the door to keep the chill inside. “you’re not supposed to be up until later.”
you stubbornly shake your head. why are you up so early? or, at least, that’s what you mean to say. what comes out sounds more like, “so early, jay,” and you wince at the way sleep tugs at your vocal chords and slurs your words swollen around each syllable.
jay pauses to glance at you in surprise. a smile tugs at the corner of his mouth. he presses his lips together as if to prevent the grin from spreading across his cheeks. it never works, and it doesn’t now, but he drops his gaze and turns to busy himself with the stove. “if you go back to sleep,” he tries again, “i promise i’ll wake you in a couple minutes.”
“define a couple.” you make your way over to him while rubbing your eyes with your fist. “i don’t believe you.”
“you and me?” jay teases. and then with the same underlying amusement, “it tends to mean two.” he turns at your approach (you hear it from the shuffle of his feet against the floor), but something mustn’t be right because he lets out a yelp and the bowl in his hands clatters against the counter.
“yeah, right.” you stop rubbing your eyes only to feel jay's hands grasp at your shoulders to stop you from walking forward, and to turn you a few degrees to the right.
his gaze focuses on your once too-close proximity to the furniture, and a crooked smile endearingly tugs at the side of his mouth. “do you… like walking into chairs?”
you groan, and your head leans forward to fall into his shoulder. so warm. you instinctively nestle into the spot at the crook of his neck, and you allow your eyes to drift shut. “are you sure you don’t want to go back to sleep?”
jay's arms wrap around your waist, and he gently tugs you closer. when he speaks, he momentarily rests his head against yours. you can hear the reverberations of his voice against your skin, and the comfort from the gesture warms you. “tempting. but i wanted to do this more.”
“what’s that?”
jay presses his lips to your temple and untangles his arms from yours. he steps back to the kitchen counter to tap the egg against the side of the bowl. the shell cracks. yolk glistens in the mid-morning light and slips onto the warm rice below, and he rummages in the nearby drawer for chopsticks to mix everything together. “i wanted to make you breakfast,” he tries casually, but you don’t miss the shyness resting behind his tense shoulders.
you blink at him owlishly. “you don’t have to…”
jay firmly shakes his head and seasons the egg rice with furikake and soy sauce. “i want to. i know you’ve been busy, and you should eat something before you take your meds.”
“oh,” your stomach sinks. “i forgot to pick them up. i ran out a while ago.”
perhaps it’s a trick of the light, but you think jay flushes. “don’t worry, i picked them up this morning.”
your eyes widen. “what?”
“oh,” jay mumbles. “you mentioned you were running low.”
when you don’t say anything, jay starts rambling. “it’s in the bag on the counter. and, um, everything in there’s yours… i happened to see some stuff and thought of you.” his voice falters, and he places the bowl in front of you. “it’s not a big deal. i was up early anyway.”
you spot the paper bag on the counter and pull it toward you. when you look inside, you find a new prescription bottle as well as that snack you happened to buy at the pharmacy a few weeks ago. you remember making him try because it was really good.
“anyway,” jay smiles nervously as he hands you a cup of water, “here. i’m sorry, i was going to make tako sausage too, like i made for riki that one time, but i know you’re probably hungry. he said mine didn't really look like octopus because i didn't put eyes or a mouth on it, but i’ll do better and make it for you next time, promise!”
you slide down from the chair and step toward him. your bottom lip wobbles. before you know it, you’re rushing forward and hugging him tightly. “i can’t believe…” you sputter for words, “you’re so sweet. like all the time. how did you even?”
jay blinks in embarrassment, breathing a laugh. “it’s nothing. i told you, really.”
“it’s not nothing,” you mumble into his shoulder, “i’m going to cry.”
jay lifts you and sets you back on the chair. “don’t cry,” he pokes your cheek, “and i did it because i wanted to. now eat before your food gets cold.”
“i’m going to do something nice for you tomorrow morning, okay?”
jay just gazes at you fondly. “sure, you will.”
you scowl. “what’s that supposed to mean?”
“nothing.” and when jay laughs, this time he wraps his arms around your shoulders and presses a kiss to the edge of your jaw.

Midnight Snacks ୨୧ 𝓟ark 𝓙ongseong
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pair: chef!jay x fem!reader | genre: fluff, established relationship | warning(s): none | wc: 757 | synopsis: you and your boyfriend crave a midnight snack
The city lights cast a soft glow over your small, shared apartment, their gentle luminance creeping in through the gaps in the curtains. It’s around 2 AM when you wake up to the sound of your stomach growling. Beside you, Jay stirs, his eyes fluttering open as he feels you shift in bed.
"Can't sleep?" Jay murmurs, his voice thick with sleep.
"Hungry," you whisper back, a playful smile tugging at your lips. "Midnight snack?"
Jay chuckles softly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Lead the way."
You carefully slide out of bed, trying not to disturb the peaceful night. The cool floor greets your bare feet as you tiptoe to the kitchen. The city outside is quiet, the usual hustle and bustle replaced by a tranquil stillness. You pause to take it in, feeling a sense of calm wash over you. The faint hum of distant traffic and the occasional flicker of headlights create a serene backdrop.
In the kitchen, you rummage through the fridge and cupboards, pulling out ingredients to make something delicious. Jay finds a carton of eggs, some leftover vegetables, and a loaf of bread. You grab a block of cheese and some fresh herbs from the windowsill planter. The kitchen is small but cozy, with warm wooden cabinets and a mosaic-tiled backsplash that catches the light in a comforting way.
"How about omelettes?" Jay suggests, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Perfect," you agree, tying your hair back and rolling up your sleeves. You move around each other with practiced ease, the small space making your movements feel intimate and synchronized. The scent of fresh herbs and sautéing vegetables fills the air, mingling with the comforting smell of home.
Jay turns on the radio, searching for the right station. A soft, romantic tune fills the air, adding a magical atmosphere to your midnight adventure. The melody is gentle, the kind that makes you want to close your eyes and just sway. As you cook, you exchange playful banter and laughter, the quiet kitchen coming alive with your energy.
"Here, taste this," Jay says, holding out a spoonful of the vegetable mixture for you. You lean in, taking a bite and grinning at the burst of flavor.
"Delicious," you reply, grabbing a piece of cheese and offering it to Jay. He takes it with a mischievous smile, your fingers brushing briefly. His touch is warm, sending a small thrill up your spine.
With the omelettes nearly done, Jay reaches for your hand and pulls you into a slow dance. The soft music envelops you, and you sway together, your bodies moving in perfect harmony. You rest your head on Jay's shoulder, feeling the steady beat of his heart against your cheek. The room seems to shrink around you, the outside world fading away as you lose yourselves in the moment.
"You know," Jay whispers, his breath warm against your ear, "these are the moments I cherish the most."
You look up at him, your eyes meeting in the dim light. His gaze is tender, filled with a love that makes your heart swell. "Me too," you reply softly, your voice filled with emotion.
You dance for a while longer, savoring the closeness and the simplicity of the moment. When the omelettes are ready, you plate them up and carry them to the kitchen window. The cityscape stretches out before you, a tapestry of lights and shadows, the high-rise buildings standing like silent guardians over the sleeping city.
You sit together, sharing the food and exchanging stories about your day. Each bite is a testament to your love and the joy you find in each other's company. The omelettes are fluffy and savory, perfectly complemented by the herbs and cheese. The midnight snack turns into a quiet celebration of your bond, a moment of pure connection in the stillness of the night.
Once you’re finished, you clean up the kitchen together, your movements synchronized in a comfortable rhythm. You tiptoe back to bed, snuggling close under the covers. The radio continues to play softly in the background, its gentle melodies lulling you to sleep. The sheets are cool and crisp, a comforting cocoon that wraps around you as you relax into Jay's embrace.
As you drift off, you feel a deep sense of contentment. The city lights continue to cast their soft glow, and the peaceful night wraps around you like a warm embrace. You fall asleep with a smile on your face, your heart full, knowing you have created a memory to cherish forever.

The sun peeked through your bedroom curtains, casting a small ray of light on the ground. The room was quiet, only the sound of breathing filled the room. With your eyes still shut, you began to awake, squirming around under the sheets and cuddling against whatever was making you warm. Your eyes fluttered open only to be met with a bare chest. A lazy smile spread across your face remembering the events of last night. A small groan left your lips when you fully awoke, looking to see that Nanami was still sound asleep, his arms wrapped around your waist, holding you close.
You ran your hand down his chest, both of you still naked under the covers. You let out a small chuckle, craning your head to place wet kisses against his neck, throwing your leg over his. Both of your clothes were scattered all over the house, only making it to the bedroom at the end of the night, fucking every where else. He groaned, “morning to you too, sweetheart.” He opened one eye to look at you, a smile tugging at his lips.
“Good morning.” You smiled. His hand squeezed at the flesh of your ass before he reached over and pulled you on top of him, only resulting in you letting out a small yelp.
“Come here,” he stared up at you with half lidded eyes. Biting down on your bottom lip, you leaned down, his lips connecting to yours, kissing you slowly. “You were incredible last night, you know that?” He smiled against your lips.
“Yeah?” You giggled, pecking his lips again.
“Mmm, yeah.” He cupped your face in his hand, kissing you again. You moved your hips against his, rocking back and forth before he pulled away with a smirk. “Don’t be a tease, darling,” he warned in a playful tone.
“Okay, okay,” you laughed, laying your head on his chest. You two shared a moment of silence, his hand resting on your lower back. “You know I’ve never had sex on the first date until last night,” you admitted, lifting your head to look at him.
“Well I guess we both have something in common then,” he grinned, rubbing his hand up and down your back. “To be fair, I was gonna walk away when you shut the door.”
“Well, I’m glad you didn’t.” You smirked, sitting up right again. “You up for some breakfast? It’s the least I could do for last night.”
“Of course,” he replied. You got off of him, walking to your closet to grab your silk robe, wrapping it around your body and tying it so it wouldn’t slip. “Just let me know when it’s ready, I’m still a bit sleepy.”
“Yeah, sure.” You nodded, walking out of your bedroom and shutting the door behind you to find the mess you two left in the living room and kitchen. Your heels, his shoes, your dress and panties, his shirt and pants were in various places on the floor. Most of the time you’d hate a mess, but you were too busy thinking about why there was a mess in first place.
Walking into the kitchen, you opened the fridge to grab the eggs, sausages, butter, and pancake mix. You grabbed a bowl, pouring the powder in before mixing it with some water, stirring it until it was a mix between thick and runny consistency, the stove heating up with butter in the pan. Flashbacks of last night kept popping in your head, making you stop in your tracks, remembering the way his hand was wrapped around your throat.
A sudden ring at the doorbell pulled you from your thoughts. Your brows furrowed knowing that Shoko wasn’t dropping the kids off until later in the day. You turned the stove off, dusting your hands off on the rag on the counter, walking over to front door and unlocking it. There stood a familiar man, your ex husband, wearing a black hoodie and sweats like he had just rolled out of bed and came over here. Though you couldn’t say much considering you did the same five minutes ago.
When Toji arrived, he couldn’t help but realize that not only was your car in the driveway, but someone else’s too. Your date was still here. And whatever bullshit Gojo was spilling to him last night was true, he could tell from the thin robe you were wearing, obvious you had nothing underneath. “Hey, mama,” he spoke, voice still groggy from waking up.
“The kids are still at Shoko’s.” You went to close the door in his face only for him to stop it with his hand. Your eyes narrowed at him. “What is it, Toji?”
“Damn, I can’t get a ‘hi’ back?” He scoffed.
“From the way you pissed me off the other day, no. And now you’re ruining my morning. So, I’m gonna ask one last time, what is it?” You asked with an attitude, folding your arms across your chest.
“I need to talk to you,” he replied.
“I’m busy.” You tried to shut the door again, but his foot blocked the door. An annoyed sigh left your lips, followed by an eye roll.
“Doing what?” He bluntly asked.
“Why do you care?” You shrugged your shoulder at him.
“Your date is still here, huh? That’s why you’re not letting me in?” He scoffed with a smirk.
“Yeah, so what? I’m a grown woman with my own house, I can let anyone stay here if I like,” you retorted.
“You fuck him?” Toji clenched his jaw, heart beating in his chest. He doesn’t even know why he was asking, it was obvious.
“Are you serious right now?” You asked in disbelief, eyes widening.
“Answer the fucking question, I’m not playing around with you.” He had a serious expression in his face, eyes staring you down. If it were anyone else, they’d be scared, but you’ve dealt with Toji enough to know that he wouldn’t do a thing.
“It’s none of your goddamn business who I fuck! I don’t go asking you who you stick your dick in, do I? Leave me the fuck alone, Toji, I can’t stand your ass!” You began to raise your voice. Every time you and him argued, it reminded you of the reason why you two divorced in the first place. Sure, Toji was a great husband at times, a good dad, and he showed you love and adored you, not to mention the sex was great, but you couldn’t take the petty arguments. It grew tiring fighting with him every other day, either him or you starting it, yelling in front of the kids. You hated that. Megumi and Naya were always your first priority and to hear them crying, asking you to stop fighting broke your heart in pieces.
The marriage grew stale, the fights pulling you two apart from each other. He’d go out with his friends and drink beers all night instead of spending time with you, knowing that something would cause an argument and blow up. Countless nights, you were left alone, crying, thinking of all the things you could’ve done differently. You loved Toji so much, but it seemed like you two weren’t meant for each other. You still let him in your life because of the kids, and it was clear that tension was still there, leading to the nights of sex, sleepovers, and flirty comments. It wasn’t good, but you missed him, so you allowed it.
“So you did.” Toji nodded his head, poking the inside of his cheek with his tongue.
“Yeah, I did. Instead of worrying about me, worry about your fucking girlfriend, okay? Get your priorities straight—”
“Y/n?” The sound of Kento’s voice startled you as he walked into the living room, his boxer briefs on. You looked over your shoulder, glancing at him before looking back at Toji. “Everything okay?”
What you were afraid of was Toji pushing open the door and causing a scene. The look on his face said it all, it was like you could see the thoughts running through his head. “Everything is fine, let me talk to the mother of my kids!” Toji, surprisingly, called out from the other side of the door.
You shut your eyes in frustration, walking outside and shutting the door behind you. “I can speak for myself.” You glared at Toji.
“Just thought I’d let him know before you gave a bullshit excuse.” He blinked at you, biting the inside of his cheek.
“What is your problem?!” You yell in a whisper.
“I said I needed to talk to you!” Toji slightly yelled.
“I don’t want to fucking talk to you! Each time I do it turns out like this!” You motioned to him and yourself. “You make my life miserable!” You began to tear up, choking on your words as you tried not to cry. “You show up with your new girlfriend after you said how much you missed me, and how sorry you were! Coming over the house, sleeping over, sleeping in my bed! You made me think that we could’ve been something good again, you fucking asshole!” You pushed him, tears now streaming down your cheeks. Everything, from the frustration to your sadness and confusion, released.
“Mama, calm down.” Toji grabbed your wrist. It was starting to make sense why you were acting weird that night he told you he couldn’t take the kids. You were jealous, just scared to admit it.
“No! I hate you! I wish I never married you!” You tried to push him again.
“You don’t mean that.” Toji stared at you only to see your hateful gaze staring back at him. “Tell me you don’t mean that.” Your head dropped low as you cried. “Y/n.” He let go of your wrists. “Tell me you don’t fucking mean that.” Silence. “Listen, she isn’t my girlfriend, okay? She was just someone I was seeing. She didn’t mean shit to me.”
“So you brought our kids around your fuck buddy? God, can you get anymore worse?” You had a scowl on your face as you wiped your tears.
“She showed up to my house right before I dropped them off! I wouldn’t do that with the kids around, you know that!” Toji tried to explain, but he could see from the look in your eyes that you weren’t believing what he said, even if it was the truth. He brought his hands up to your face, cupping it gently. “I care about you, y/n. You were my fucking wife, my everything. You think I could just forget about that so easily?” His eyes searched yours only for you to push him away.
“Yet you still did it, all so you could go back to your old self before me.” You sniffled. “Just leave me alone, Toji. I don’t ever wanna see you again unless it involves Megumi and Naya.” You turned away from him, entering the house, trying your best to cover up your teary face.
“Y/n?” Nanami walked back into the living room to see you standing there.
“I’m sorry you had to hear that.” You wiped your eyes. He walked over to you, immediately taking notice of your red eyes and tear stained cheeks. Warm arms engulfed your frame, holding you tight against his chest. “It’s embarrassing.”
Nanami had no say in the situation, but he could tell it upset you. So, he settled on hugging you, embracing the silence. “Don’t worry about it, okay? Let’s sit down and relax before making breakfast.” He gently caressed your head.
Toji sat there in his car, running his hand through his hair. He took one last look at your door, something in him wishing you’d walk out before he drove off. He hated that he made you cry, only reminding him that he could never be good enough for you. He wishes he could. But you were right, he thought he could play two games at once, only to get himself confused and hurting you in the process.
Toji missed you, always came back to you, but had to remind himself that it wasn’t healthy for either of you to be together the way you were. It’s why he’s tried several time to move on, jumping from girl to girl but none of them were ever you. It’s why he came back, feeling most at home when he was around you and your two kids. It’s what he knew best. Now, you were moving on, just like he’s been trying to. It hurts, but it’s his karma and he has to live with it.

One Year Later
"Sarah!" you yelled up the stairs, craning your neck so you could hear.
"Almost ready!" she yelled back down. You hurried back into the kitchen right when the toaster popped up. Pinching the toast between your fingers with a hiss, you dropped both slices onto a waiting plate and sucked on the pad of your thumb as you turned around to grab the butter from the fridge. You heard her feet thundering down the stairs just as you were finishing up her breakfast. Turning around, you held out the plate to her right as she entered the room.
"Sorry! I overslept," she said, shooting you a grateful smile when she took the plate from your hands.
"No problem, you'll still make it to school on time," you replied, glancing at the clock before pointing to the stove. "Eggs," you told her, and she swiveled around to scoop some onto her plate before sitting down.
"Thank you," she said around a mouthful of food. You took a quick gulp from your coffee before it got too cold, then began pouring the rest of the pot into a thermos. Right on cue, Joel's heavy footsteps were the next to descend the stairs.
"Mornin', girls," he mumbled, fumbling with his tie as he walked. His hair looked disheveled and his eyes looked tired but you still grinned when you handed him the thermos. Giving up on the tie, he sighed with relief before taking a sip and winking at you over the cup.
"Here, let me," you offered, undoing the knotted mess and flattening the fabric back out so you could properly tie it for him.
He turned his head to the side so he could keep drinking his coffee without being in your way and eyed Sarah from across the room.
"Overslept?" he asked her, and she nodded tiredly.
"All set," you told him, flipping his collar back down and smoothing his dress shirt over his broad shoulders.
"Thank you, baby," he said softly before giving you a quick kiss.
"Eggs?" you asked him, turning around to fill your own plate with food. He took another sip of coffee as he flicked his arm out, his sleeve pulling back so he could check his watch.
"No time."
"At least take a granola bar with you," you said, opening a cupboard and handing him a little foil packet. He slid it into his pocket with the promise to eat it when he got to work, then looked over at Sarah again.
"Almost ready?" he asked, and she shoveled the last of her food into her mouth before nodding and standing up. You took the plate from her and rinsed it in the sink while she stuffed a binder into her backpack and zipped it shut.
"You can still drop me off at Jess's house tonight, right, Dad?" she asked, slinging her backpack over her shoulders. He froze as his brain tried to process what she said, working hard to remember if she had mentioned this before.
"What time?"
"Four. Right after school."
"Four..." he muttered to himself, running his fingers through his hair, attempting to tame it. "Shit, babygirl, I don't think I can make it all the way on the other side of town by four, I got somethin' to take care of after work-"
"But Dad! We have a science project due Friday, and tomorrow I have practice-"
"I can do it," you offered from your spot against the counter, still holding your plate of half eaten eggs.
"You sure?" Joel asked, but you could already see the relief in his eyes.
"Yeah, of course. I'm working til three, then my night class starts at five. I can go in between, no problem."
"You got class tonight?" he asked. You and Sarah exchanged bewildered glances before you looked back at him.
"Yeah, Joel, it's Wednesday. I have classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Are you feeling okay?" you asked, growing a little worried. Now that you were thinking about it, he seemed more frazzled than usual that morning, and even though your lives were busy, he never forgot your schedules.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just got a lot on my mind, is all," he said, shaking his head and turning back towards Sarah. "Alright, let's get a move on. Don't wanna be late."
"I'll see you after school!" you called to Sarah as she walked towards the front door and shoved on her shoes.
"Thank you!" she called back before swinging the door open and disappearing outside.
"Thank you so much, baby," he said, cupping your face with both hands for another kiss, this time slowing down and savoring it.
"You're welcome," you said, pulling back with a grin. "Now, go."
He smiled and backed out of the room. "Love you."
"Love you, too," you said, turning around to survey the damage from breakfast. When you first moved in, you were concerned you would get in Joel and Sarah's way, that the little routine they had for so long would be disrupted by your presence, but it was becoming clear to you that wasn't the case at all. Sarah was very mature and independent, which was a huge help to Joel because for years, she would do a lot of the cooking and cleaning to help out, but when you moved in you began to take on some of those chores, allowing Sarah the time to enjoy just being a teenager. And to be perfectly honest, you didn't mind. You enjoyed being part of a loving family who welcomed you into their lives without hesitation. It was something you yearned for your whole life, and now you finally had it.
Tumblr media
Tommy and Maria were extremely supportive of your new schedule. You had been taking night classes for the past six months at the local community college, looking to get your associate's degree and maybe see what kind of job that could get you because even though you loved working at the diner, it was back breaking work and you really didn't think you had it in you to be a lifer. Besides, the odd hours were less than ideal. You wanted to have a work schedule that matched Joel's so you could be home with him at the same time.
One huge thing you would miss about the diner was seeing Joel almost every day for lunch. It was bittersweet to think about one day quitting the job that brought you together, but you knew it would ultimately be worth it. Better hours, better pay, and no nights and weekends were the goal.
Right on schedule, you heard the front door open and Joel's deep drawl greet Maria behind the hostess stand before you saw him out of the corner of your eye make his way up to the counter. When you looked up, you were surprised to see he wasn't alone.
"Tyler!" you said with a grin, and the younger man nodded in greeting to you. About four months ago you were excited to find out Tyler Bates actually did end up calling Joel for a job, and of course Joel kept his word. Apparently, the Philadelphia police force was not a good fit for him.
You couldn't ever imagine why.
Texas was treating him well. Gone was the clean shaven, crew cut man you once met. Now that the south wrapped its arms around him, his skin was sunkissed, his hair a little wavy, and he even had a bit of stubble across his jaw.
"What's the occasion?" you asked as they took their seats.
Joel clapped Tyler on the back before looking up at you. "One of my guy's retirin' soon so I offered this one a promotion," Joel replied.
"Oh, that's wonderful! Congratulations!" you gushed, and you thought you saw his cheeks turn a little pink.
"Thank you, ma'am."
"I told you, you don't have to call me that," you scolded playfully. "Especially during our double date this Saturday. You're still coming, right?"
"As long as this Hailey still wants to meet me," he replied, sounding a little nervous.
"Oh, she definitely still wants to meet you," you teased, and Joel chuckled next to him.
"She's been textin' her every night askin' what she should wear and-"
"Joel!" you snapped, cutting him off with a warning look, but he just grinned.
"What? It's true!" he laughed.
"You're gonna embarrass her!" you exclaimed, then turned to Tyler. "Ignore everything he just said in the past thirty seconds."
"Yes, ma'am," he said with a little smile, then dropped his focus to the menu.
You shook your head at Joel, trying to come off as mad, but you knew you were failing by the look in his eye and the twitch at the corner of his mouth.
"You're in trouble," you muttered lowly, and a look of excitement flashed across his face.
"Mm, I hope so."
Your eyes widened with embarrassment but fortunately, Tyler was a gentleman and pretended not to hear. You made an aggravated face at him before turning your head and quickly changing your tune.
"What can I get for you, Tyler?" you asked sweetly.
Tumblr media
Hailey and Tyler hit it off instantly. You never set anyone up before, but they were both so sweet, you had a feeling they would make a good match. Hailey was the only girl in town who seemed to be on your side. Although most people moved on to the next exciting piece of gossip, your drama long forgotten by now, you didn't forget how she never treated you any differently, even though you were sure it would have been easy for her to do. She even left book club after she and the rest of the town learned the gritty details of your case. You assured her that Nikki never could have known the real reason behind your divorce, that you hid those details well for most of your life, but Hailey still wanted nothing to do with her or the group of women who ostracized you. It didn't end up mattering much in the end. A few short months after your trial, right around the time you moved in with Joel, Nikki found a job out of state and moved.
Instead of book club, the two of you started your own monthly club. Sometimes that consisted of a book you both wanted to read, other times it was going to dinner and the movies. It was nice to have a standing date with her and catch up. And when she mentioned last month how lonely she had been and how envious she was of your and Joel's relationship, you immediately thought of Tyler.
Tyler: the man who, aside from Joel, changed everything for you. Who stood up for what was right, even at great personal risk, and traveled all the way to Texas to apologize to you in person for not doing more. He was a good man, and he deserved to have someone, too.
"We're gonna go play darts, you guys want in?" Hailey asked, her eyes shiny and her cheeks slightly pink from the alcohol. You had picked Hank's instead of a nice restaurant, figuring it would help loosen both of them up, and you were right.
"You go ahead, we'll join you in a bit," you said, shooting her a discreet wink when Tyler wasn't looking.
"I don't think they'd even notice if we left," Joel murmured before taking a sip of his beer.
"No, probably not," you said, watching them from across the room. Tyler was standing behind Hailey, trying to show her how to properly take aim at the target.
Joel's phone buzzed in his pocket and he slid it out, subtly angling the screen away from you.
"Is it Sarah?" you asked when you noticed the look on his face. Michelle had done what she said she would and reached back out to Sarah, and while both of their schedules were busy, they occasionally found the time to meet up. This weekend was the first time Sarah stayed overnight in Austin with her mom, and even though Joel didn't say anything, you could tell he was worried.
"No, it's just Tommy," he said, putting his phone face down on table and looking back at you.
"Everything okay?" you asked slowly, picking up on some kind of nervous energy from him.
"Yeah, everythin's great," he replied with a grin, then leaned in to quickly try to change the subject. "You really think they won't notice if we leave? Can't remember the last time we had the house to ourselves."
Your breath caught in your throat when you saw his gaze darken. "I think it might be a little rude if we don't say something-"
Joel stood up immediately and held out his hand to you. "Then let's say somethin'."
You stared at his hand before looking back up at him. "Are you serious?" you said with a little laugh, but he just kept looking at you expectantly. "Alright, fine," you relented, taking his hand and allowing him to help you stand. He wrapped his arm around your shoulders and led you through the bar, nodding briefly at Hank before reaching the dart board.
"You guys good if we head out?" Joel asked, barely pulling their attention away from each other. Tyler looked at Hailey, giving her the opportunity to respond just in case she was uncomfortable, but she shook her head.
"Go! We've got a competition heating up here, and I'm determined to win," she said, smirking up at Tyler.
"Alright, have fun," you said over the music playing from the jukebox. Hailey caught your eye and gave you a look, and when Tyler went up to the board to retrieve the darts, you held up your thumb and pinky to the side of your head and mouthed call me before Joel turned you away.
"What's with the rush?" you asked when you stepped outside and the fresh air hit your lungs.
"No rush. Just wanna be alone with my girl, is that a crime?"
"I don't know, you tell me, sheriff," you teased, and he chuckled under his breath before opening his truck door for you. And even though he claimed there was no rush, he sure did seem to hurry around the front of his truck.
You studied the side of his face as he drove, your brows furrowed a bit at the way his eyes shifted nervously from the road to the time on the dash. His fingers anxiously tapped on the steering wheel at every red light and you tried to ignore it, but after the third red light and hearing him mutter curses under his breath, you couldn't take it any more.
"What's gotten into you? You're acting weird," you said.
"No, I'm not."
"Yes, you are! You've been weird all week, actually. Is it because of Sarah? Don't be worried, I'm sure she's fine. It's good for her to spend some time with Michelle."
"I'm not worried 'bout Sarah," he said, and you pursed your lips but let it go.
When you pulled into the driveway, you caught the way Joel looked at the time and the front door before quickly turning the engine off and hopping out of the truck. He rounded the car and opened the door for you, but when you began to walk towards the mailbox, he stopped you.
"Where you goin'?"
"I'm getting the mail. I'm expecting some stuff from school-"
"We can get it tomorrow, let's go inside," he said, wrapping his fingers around your shoulders and you frowned.
"Why can't I -" you paused when a truck lumbered past the house, and even in the dark, you recognized it. "Is that Tommy?" you asked, but before you could get a good look, Joel forcibly turned you towards the house.
"No, I don't think so."
"What-"
"Baby, c'mon, please let's go inside," he begged, and by now you knew he was definitely up to something. You sighed and let him lead you up the porch steps, deciding not to make it any more difficult on him.
When he opened the front door you finally saw why he was so anxious to get inside. You were greeted with the soft glow of candlelight, and as you stepped inside, utterly confused, you noticed the red rose petals scattered over the floor. You racked your brain, trying to remember if you forgot a special occasion, but you were coming up empty.
"W-what is all this?" you finally managed to ask softly as you slowly entered the living room, noticing for the first time the bottle of champagne and two glasses placed on the coffee table next to a beautiful bouquet of roses already in a vase. Joel was suspiciously silent behind you as you continued to take in the scene. Was he really that excited to have the house to yourselves?
You turned around to ask him but the words got stuck in your throat when you saw him kneeling behind you, holding out a ring with trembling fingers.
Your hands flew up to your mouth with a gasp and your heart began to pound wildly in your chest, completely taken aback. Oh my god, this is it.
Joel took a deep breath. "Since the moment we met-"
"Yes!" you nearly shouted through your hands, making the corners of his mouth twitch up into a smile.
"I got a whole speech planned," he said with a nervous laugh, but you shook your head and dropped to your knees with him.
"I don't care," you breathed, pulling his face against yours for a searing kiss.
He managed to break away for a moment, his fingers still pinching the ring. "Didn't wanna ask in front of people, I know what you said 'bout-"
You cut him off with another kiss, not wanting to think about your previous marriage in that moment.
"You could ask me in the middle of the grocery store with a twist tie and I would say yes," you told him, pushing your forehead against his. He gripped the side of your head, the ring getting tangled in your hair as he pressed his lips feverishly against yours again.
"I love you so much," he mumbled in between kisses.
Tears were beginning to form now that the shock was wearing off, but you tried to hold them back. "I love you, too," you whispered, then gripped his collar to pull him down. His hand cradled the back of your head as you eased yourself onto the floor, your lips refusing to leave his. Your fingers hurriedly went to the buttons of his shirt when he remembered the ring.
"Wait," he said, pulling back a bit, panting for air. He held it up and you eagerly held out your hand, both of you shaking a little as he slid the ring around your finger.
"Oh, I love it," you gasped, admiring the unique pattern of little diamonds surrounding a larger one in the center of a gold band.
"Yeah?" he asked with a smile, his eyes going soft. "Couldn't make up my mind. Finally had it custom made, took forever but it came in the other day-"
"You had it custom made?" you repeated in disbelief, and he nodded.
"Couldn't wait to ask you. It's why I've been so distracted all week."
"I love you," you said again, pulling on his shirt to close the gap between you. "God, I love you so much," you mumbled as your fingers resumed their work on his buttons while your lips drifted down his jaw, his stubble burning your sensitive skin in the best way.
"Love you too," he murmured, his mouth finding a home against your neck as you finished unbuttoning his shirt, sliding it over his shoulders and down his arms. "I've loved you for so fuckin' long. Just wanna make you happy, give you the life you deserve," he continued, his teeth grazing against your earlobe.
"You do make me happy," you moaned as you struggled to pull off your jeans.
"Let's go upstairs," he said, pushing himself up to hover above you, his chest heaving.
You shook your head and lifted your hips, bumping clumsily against him as you shimmied your pants down. "Here," you told him, watching his eyes travel down your now half naked body.
"On the floor?" he questioned, but sat back on his heels to work on his belt. You nodded, your eyes dark with lust as you stared at his bare chest, only looking away to yank your shirt over your head. He chuckled as he kicked his pants off and you quickly wrapped your legs around his waist and tugged him back down to you. "Okay, baby. Whatever you want," he said in your ear, and you could hear the smile in his voice.
"Just want you," you whined, and your fingers came up to get tangled in his curls. He slipped his hand between your bodies and notched himself at your center.
"You got me, baby," he whispered, nibbling at your chin as he pressed forward, slowly stretching you open and making your jaw drop. "Got me forever. Always did," he added, his eyebrows pinching together the further he buried himself inside you.
"Oh fuck, Joel," you gasped, eyes rolling to the back of your head when he bottomed out.
"Yeah? That feel good? Needed me so bad you had to have me right here, huh?" he growled in your ear. Your thighs tensed around his waist as you adjusted around him.
"Yes," you replied softly, gasping a little when you felt him pulse inside. "Want you everywhere. Can't get enough - god, you feel so good. Always feel so good," you rambled, knowing how much he loved it when you talked to him during sex. At first, you were embarrassed. You overthought what you should say, what sounded sexy, but you quickly realized it didn't matter. He loved it all.
He dragged his hips slowly, deliberately, building you up just so he could tear you apart. Savoring the sweet little moans that slipped past your lips as your walls squeezed around his cock and he was certain he would never tire of this.
"You're so beautiful," he said before crashing his mouth against yours messily. "Can't believe I get to spend my life with you," he added, his hand gripping your hip and pulling you against him, matching his thrusts.
You dropped your hands from his hair and pressed them against his chest, giving him a gentle shove. "Roll us over," you commanded, and he smirked.
"Yes, ma'am."
In the blink of an eye he ducked and rolled, pulling your hips with him and making you giggle when you found yourself straddling him.
"This is gonna fuck up my back," he warned you, shifting his shoulders as he tried to get comfortable on the floor.
"I'll give you a massage if it does," you promised, and his eyes lit up. He was about to say something smart when you began to roll your hips and suddenly, the words escaped him.
"Oh fuck, baby, that's it," he groaned, his hands lightly guiding you, his fingertips digging into the flesh of your ass. "Yeah, just like that, yeah... now bounce a little for me."
You did as he asked, your hands pressed flat against his chest as you bounced up and down, his eyes transfixed on the way your body glowed in the candlelight.
"So deep," you moaned, your head tipping back as your eyes closed, lost in the moment. "So good. You're so good to me, Joel. Ah!" you cried out as he began lifting his hips, thrusting up into you. He could feel the cool metal from your ring pressing into his chest and it only made him fuck up into you harder.
He quickly sat up, his arms circling around your waist and holding you tightly in his lap as he snapped his hips, little grunts and growls getting lost in each other's mouths, your tongues dancing together, desperately trying to get as close as possible.
"C'mon, c'mon," he muttered once you broke away, gasping for air. "Look at you. Gettin' all worked up. Couldn't even make it to bed, hm? Needed me to fuck you that bad, ain't that right?"
"Uh huh," you whined, your head falling forward, resting on his shoulder as you focused on his voice.
"That's alright, I'll give you anythin' you want. I'll take good care of you, baby. I'll give this perfect pussy anythin' she wants, too."
"Joel, I'm close," you whimpered, your fingers digging into his shoulders, your teeth pinching your bottom lip. Your eyes flew open when he hit that perfect spot and you gasped. "Right there! Please... please don't stop, don't stop," you gasped as you felt your cheeks begin to flush with heat.
"There? Yeah?" he panted, somehow managing to pound up into you with incredible force while sitting on his lap. You tried to respond but you couldn't. Your vision was going spotty and the heat pooling at the bottom of your belly was beginning to ignite. He seemed to understand because he kept up the pace, hitting that spot over and over while alternating between muttering filth and praise in your ear.
Takin' it so good. Such a good girl. Feel how hard you make me? I love you so much.
And maybe he got a little carried away, lost in chasing his own pleasure, not really thinking about what he was saying until...
"Can't wait to put a baby in you."
Your teeth clamped down on his neck, desperately trying to ground yourself as your orgasm hit you, forcing all the air from your lungs, his name barely a whisper on your lips.
He didn't even realize he said it out loud. He was too far gone, too close to his own release to think about anything else.
"I'm gonna come, baby, I'm g-gonna- fuck!" he groaned loudly, his stomach tensing and relaxing with each surge of his spend coating your walls until his body went lax, his shoulders drooping a bit and his arms loosening their grip around you.
"That was worth the backache," he finally mumbled, and you giggled from your place on his neck.
You kept expecting him to say something about what he said, but by the time you had untangled yourselves - you, gathering all your clothes and him, blowing out the candles - it didn't seem like he was going to mention it, so you let it go. And by the time you got upstairs, letting him wrap you up in his arms with your left hand splayed out across his bare chest, you had nearly forgotten all about it.
Tumblr media
It must have been later than you usually slept. The sun was brighter than usual, streaming in through the windows and bathing you both in its glow. You were laying on your stomach, one leg hitched up towards your chest. At some point, Joel must have sought you out because his body was pressed flat against your back, his arm even resting on top of yours, fingertips grazing your ring as he slept.
Your ring.
Your eyes fluttered open so you could see it. Not wanting to disturb him, you tried to twitch your finger a bit so the stones would reflect in the light.
His nose nudged your shoulder blade, his face buried in your upper back, and you smiled. He was so close and so warm it made you never want to get up.
Then you felt his cock twitch against your leg and you bit your lip. It sounded like he was still asleep, his breathing hadn't changed, but his body was still reacting to you anyway, and the thought made you desperate for him again.
You tipped your hips back ever so slightly, just to see how deep of a sleep he was in. When he didn't respond, you wiggled your body a little more, flexing and stretching your limbs underneath him. His breath fanned over your shoulder, your hair fluttering a bit with each exhale. The ache between your legs was growing, so you ground your ass against him a little harder and you finally sensed a change in his breathing: he was waking up.
His fingers laced together with yours, your ring pressing into the palm of his hand and making him smile against your skin.
"Mornin', fiancée," he murmured sleepily. You hummed in response as you continued to lightly grind up against him, feeling him harden against the curve of your ass. "What're you doin', baby?" he whispered, his fingers tightening around yours.
"Nothing," you replied innocently, still rolling your hips against him.
"Don't feel like nothin'," he grunted against the back of your neck.
"What does it feel like?"
"Feels like you need me to take care of you again," he said, his voice still gravelly with sleep as he began to roll his hips in rhythm with yours. A soft moan slipped past your lips, the throbbing between your legs intensifying at the thought of waking up like this every day for the rest of your lives.
Joel's hand slid between your legs, his fingers brushing against your folds. He inhaled sharply and buried his face further into your back as he gently pet at your soaking heat, purposely taking his time and driving you wild. "Yeah, she needs me again, huh?" he said, his voice muffled. "Needs me to stretch her open 'n fill her up, ain't that right?"
"Yes," you whimpered, pushing your hips back into him, begging for it. And when you felt him press against your opening, his words from last night drifted back into your brain: Can't wait to put a baby in you.
Your mouth fell open and your eyes squeezed shut as he began to slowly push inside and you wondered how you went so long without him. How many years you wasted without knowing his touch. He was so perfect and sweet and kind and loving and now, he was all yours. Forever.
"Did you mean it?" you found yourself asking after he began to rock his hips into you from behind, slowly, making sure you felt every inch of him.
"Mean what?" he mumbled, his voice sounding strained as you stretched and clutched around him.
"Did you really want to put a baby in me?" you clarified, suddenly feeling nervous. His hips stalled and his eyes shot open and the pause he took before replying made your heart flutter anxiously in your chest.
"Do you want that?" he asked, his hand holding your hip in place, effectively stopping you from grinding against him.
"Maybe?" you replied, your voice higher than usual and you were relieved you couldn't see his face because you weren't sure your nerves could take it.
He nibbled lovingly at your ear, his teeth dragging down your throat as he slowly began to move again.
"Then maybe I did mean it."
You breathed a small sigh of relief and you pushed your ass against him, matching his pace. "Yeah?" you said, wanting to hear more. Needing to hear more.
"Mhm," he mumbled, his lips gliding over your shoulder. "You'd make a great mom. And fuck, you'd be so pretty with my baby in you."
"Mm," your cheeks flared with heat at the fantasy, and the way his thrusts were coming a little faster made you think it turned him on, too. "Imagine the looks I'd get," you whispered, your fingers clutching around the sheets as he brought you closer and closer to the edge. His hand wrapped around your knee and pulled your leg up higher. "Walking around - ahh - walking around town, growing your baby in my belly. Letting everyone see how good you take care of me."
He groaned, his hips snapping faster against your ass, unable to hold back.
"You like that? You want everyone to see how good I fuck you? If you weren't on the pill, I'd do it right fuckin' now," he growled in your ear, and you gasped.
"Oh fuck, Joel, I'm close," you whimpered, your hands desperately reaching out for any part of him to hold. He noticed and he removed his hand from your knee so he could lace your fingers together again. He was fucking everywhere. Your whole body was covered by his, pinning you into the bed. His breath was warming your neck, his cock filling you up, reaching the furthest depths of you and you never felt more alive than when your orgasm finally took hold.
"Yeah, that's it," he cooed as you spasmed and whimpered beneath him. "Good girl. Fuck, yes, that's right," he panted, chasing his own high as you struggled to remain present. "So pretty when you come, s-so pretty, my pretty girl, love you so fuckin' much," he groaned, then his body stilled as he pumped you full once again, whispering your name weakly as he finished.
"Fuck me, baby," he moaned after he caught his breath. He lifted himself off you, your skin sticking together briefly before he slid out with a hiss. He collapsed on his back next to you, pulling on your shoulder so you flipped over and tucked you into his side. He tilted your chin up so he could slot his lips against yours, massaging them tenderly, lovingly, with a deep, contented sigh.
"You make me so happy," you told him, his fingers still pinching your chin. He grinned and kissed you again.
"I'm gonna spend my life givin' you whatever you want," he whispered against your lips.
Your hand drifted up to the back of his neck, your fingers tugging gently at the ends of his thick curls. His tongue slipped past your lips, slowly swirling around yours with a moan.
Just as you were starting to think you wouldn't leave the bed for the entire day, you heard two car doors slamming shut in the driveway and you both opened your eyes.
"Sarah's home," he said, pecking one more kiss against your lips before pushing himself up with a groan.
"Oh my god, does she know?" you asked, feeling bad you hadn't asked yet. He pulled on a pair of boxers and his discarded jeans as he looked at you admiring your ring.
"'Course she knows, talked to her 'bout it weeks ago. She's so happy, could hardly stop pesterin' me 'bout it," he said with a chuckle, then pulled a T-shirt over his head just as you heard the front door open. He tossed you your jeans as he headed for the door. "Better hurry up or else she's gonna come bargin' in here," he warned, then disappeared down the stairs.
You flung the covers off and quickly dressed, checking your hair in the mirror and glancing down at your ring once more before following Joel downstairs, excited to start the next chapter of your life with your new family.

Sam Carpenter x F! Reader - Mornings Like This MDNI 18+
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2013
Prompt: Sam Carpenter and her girlfriend being silly and making breakfast.
Warnings: Strap-on, a little bit of degradation, poor jokes I wrote in when I was stoned.
Also, not Proofread. Masterlist
I woke up to a crack of light peering through my curtains. The light blinding my eyes for a few seconds as I rub the sting away. I take a deep breath, stretching out my stiff limbs. As I arch my body in an ‘Excorcist’ type way, I catch a glimpse of Sam sleeping beside me. She laid on her stomach, a pillow tucked between her arms and head. Her dark hair sprawled out wildly along the pillowcase. A bit of drool pooling from her chin to the fabric as she slept. Half of the covers thrown from her body, assumably from her getting too warm at night. Most of her back on display as she usually slept in her sports bras, last night being no acception. I smile as I begin to climb out of bed, deciding to wake up Sam with breakfast, despite my poor cooking skills. As I stand up, the fluffy covers fall from my body, leaving me cold. Being too lazy to search the floor for my shirt, I walked to the kitchen. The cold air didn’t end in my bedroom, the thin fabric of my bra not doing much for my temperature.
I walked over to the cupboard, grabbing out a pan and two plates. I grabbed out the bacon and eggs from the fridge. I decide to start on the bacon first, knowing that I sucked at multitasking. Cutting open the package, I throw some bacon on the pan, hearing the initial sizzle and smiling, thinking about how great a cook I am. What I didn’t think about was what the sizzle meant. Within a few minutes, I’m being shot with bacon grease. Every second was me hissing in pain and cussing out the bacon for being such a rude bitch. With each insult, the bacon fought back, for each cuss, a shot of bacon grease to the tit.
“We have shirts, and aprons. You are aware of that right?” I hear a raspy teasing chuckle from behind me, and the feeling of strong arms wrapping around my bare waist. I smile as I feel her lips pressing against my neck in a tired yet loving way. “I’m aware, but I was gonna bring you this in bed, and then ask for you to kiss my bacon burns better.” I tease back, leaning into her touch as I use the tongs to take out some of the finished pieces. “Oh really? And where are these bacon burns?” Sam playfully pokes my side, her voice filled with sleep. I giggle and turn off the stove top as I finish up cooking. “Got a lot on my boobs,” I tease, not missing the mischevious glint in Sam’s eyes as they drift down to my chest. I playfully slap her shoulder, “My eyes are up here,” I tease, Sam chuckles, kissing my cheek. “ Also, what are you even doing up this early? I wanted to surprise you.” I pout up at her, trying to fight a grin that pricked my lips. “Well, I heard you cussing out the bacon. Did you seriously call the bacon, ‘Fucking whore, bitchwad’? What does that even mean?” Sam grins, her eyebrow quirking up. I sheepishly look up at the ceiling, which was a mistake due to Sam’s taller height. She easily grabs my chin, tilting my face towards her, my cheeks a blushing red. “Listen- the bacon just isn’t cool like that.” I sigh, smiling as I hear her laugh. “God, you’re a dork.” Sam whispers and pauses before kissing me. Her lips pressing against mine in a soft loving way. We pull apart, our foreheads pressing against each others. She lets out a content sigh before whispering softly,
“Please let me finish cooking. That bacon didn’t do anything wrong,” She peeks her eyes open, a mischievous smirk on her lips. “Oh woww, seriously taking the bacon’s side?” I let out a playful scoff, glaring up at her. “There was no witness to testify otherwise,” Sam quipped, a grin on her lips as she slips one of the aprons out of the drawer, tying it around her body. “The red skin on my tits says otherwise!” I huff, taking my seat on the countertop. Sam smirks and holds out her hand for the spatula that sat beside me, I playfully and passive aggressive pass her the spatula with a heavy sigh. “Oh really~? Care to let me see the evidence, preferably in full view, minus the bra.” She hums, glancing at me with a grin. I playfully roll my eyes, playing into her little game. “I actually might need you to do it. Wouldn’t it be corrupting evidence if you let the plaintiff do such a thing?” I giggle, leaning back against the cupboards as I watch Sam cook the eggs.
“Oh, very good point. I think you’re right. Let me just-” Sam smirks, turning off the burner before stepping between my legs. Her hands caressing my thighs, “May I~?” She teases, lifting one hand to snap one strap of my bra. “Go ahead, find the evidence,” I tease, giggling a bit. Sam bites her bottom lip as she slips my bra over my head. She pauses, licking her lips as she eyes my bare chest. “I don’t see any marks yet,” Sam playfully teases. I smirk, running one of my hands through her hair. “What do you mean yet? I already cooked the bac-” My breath hitches as she leans down, her tongue tracing along my breast before she sucks down, her eyes looking up into mine as she leaves a hickey on my chest. Her tongue running along the red mark soothingly before she kisses the spot. “Now we can sue the bacon,” I joke, looking at the mark on my chest. “How? I made it.” Sam chuckled, her hand moving up to grope at my chest. “Haven’t you ever heard of faking evidence, with a blind and senial enough jury, we could totally have a lawsuit on our hands.” I giggle, leaning in to kiss her jaw. Sam laughs, her other hand trailing my spine. “Remind me to never let you be my lawyer.” Sam nods, leaning in to kiss my collarbone. “Hey! I’d be a great lawyer, I’m pro-bono!” I laugh, Sam’s kisses end abruptly as she chuckles. “Oh really? You’d take my case for free?” Sam teases, moving her hands to playfully squeeze my waist. “Of course.” I nod, ”And I’m feeling especially pro-bono at the moment, so if you take me back to our room, I will take your case, and I’ll take it so well.” I tease, my tone both on the verge of laughing and still trying to drift seductive.
“How big of a case are we talking here~?” Sam teases back, lifting me off the counter as she begins to walk us back to our room. “5 month long trial, 7 month, 10 if I’m feeling a bit ambitious-” I laugh, leaning in to kiss her neck. “If you’re this pro-bono, should I be worried about other clientel?” Sam teases, gently laying me on the bed and pining me down. My hands tangled up with one of hers near the pillows. “I’m more of a private personal lawyer, you know you’re my one and only client.” I whisper, leaning up to kiss her neck. “Good girl,” She smirks, “Stay put,” She demands, before getting out of the bed and walking to our closet. After a minute, she comes out naked, with a 7 inch strap around her hips. She saunters up to the bed, standing at the foot as I look at her helplessly, my thighs clenching as she smirks down at me. “Now,” She moves to loom over me, “I don’t intend to waste the breakfast you so kindly started for me, so I’m gonna go fast, and you’re gonna take it like the good girl you are,” Sam whispers, gently biting my neck as her hands move to tug down my shorts and panties. I shiver as the cold air of the room reaches my core with Sam spreading my legs. She reaches down, running her fingers along my slit before slipping two into my core with ease. Her fingers showing no mercy as she begins speeding her movements, her thumb playing with my clit. She smirks down at me, watching as I use all my willpower to keep my hands above my head where she left them.
“Taking my fingers so well~” She whispers, kissing along my neck. The heat in my core begins to build, but before I can reach a satisfying release, she pulls her fingers from my core. “Let’s see how well you can take my cock,” She teases, her hand, wet with my juices, reaches down and jerks the silicon dildo, spreading my slick along it. She positions the head at my entrance, pushing in with no hesitation. My mouth falls into a silent cry as she stretches me out, each inch writhing my body with pleasure. My hands accidentally leave the pillow, clutching around her shoulders. As she bottoms out inside me, she gives me a second to get used to the intrusion. “What did I say?” She hums, grabbing my hands and pining them back down with one hand. She gives a particularly harsh thrust at the disobedience. I let out a loud moan, the stretch aching a bit, but the pleasure far overrode it. “T-to stay put,” I mumble, to which she leans down and gently bites at my chest. “I can’t hear you, honey,” Sam whispers. I let out a soft moan as she attaches her lips around my nipple, her tongue swirling around it. Her hips slowly and gently swirling as she hums, waiting for an answer. “To stay put,” I say through a breathy moan. She chuckles softly, her free hand groping at my other breast as her mouth moves to kiss my neck. “Are you gonna stay put or am I gonna have to let that breakfast go to waste?” Sam teases, being to thrust at a slightly faster pace, but nothing to push me anywhere close near the edge. “I’ll be a good girl, Sammy,” I whisper, my tone a bit desperate as I bite down on my lower lip. My eyes drifting to where our bodies connect. Watching as she begins to thrust faster, the sight of her sinking her strap deep inside me. Her hand moves from my breast to my chin, making me meet her eyes as she speeds up. “You like seeing me wreck you baby~?” Sam smirks, her tone a bit breathless. Her eyes a dark with lust as she goes harder, making me let lose a whorish moan. “Of course you do,” She lets out a soft groan as angle rub the strap back against her clit. “Such a slut for me, such a good fucking girl,” Sam growls, giving a harsh thrust with each statement. Pulling out till just the head was at my entrance before thrusting fully back in. Leaving me breathless and writhing beneath her as I hold her hand with mine above my head. “Gonna cum, Sammy~!” I moan loudly, my thighs beginning to tremble with the force and pleasure of her thrusts. Cum for me, baby,” Sam lifts one of my legs onto her shoulder and increases her pace, letting out soft grunts and groans as the strap rubs better against her clit at the new angle. “Be a good girl and cum on my strap.” I let out a loud moan as the heat in my stomach explodes, my cunt pulsing around her strap as she fucked me through my orgasm. I tug my hands from her grasp and wrap them around her shoulders. “How about I order breakfast?” Sam suggests sedutively, still a bit breathless. I let out a small chuckle and smirk up at her mischeviously, “What? Pro-bono?” I joke with a giggle, but that’s ended quickly when Sam presses the strap deeper, making me all the more aware of my current place.

2 years later
Hawkins, 1987
Sunlight peeks through the blue curtains in the large bedroom, the sound of cars driving through the streets fills the silence in the apartment, the smell of paint, fresh bed sheets and the vanilla candle that was lit for the first time last night, all mingle together. Both opened and unopened boxes are all across the room. Most of the clothes – jackets, sweaters and flannels are already in the closet. The dressers are decorated with books, pictures and a lone mug that was forgotten yesterday morning. A diary and a new lamp are decorating the bedside table.
Silent tiptoes echo against the hardwood floor before they disappear again and reappear on his thick blanket, the faintest purr and the softness against his skin pulls him out of his deep sleep.
A smile tugs at his lips when the little ball of fur snuggles against his bare chest.
“Hey there… Cat,” Steve mumbles, groggily.
The black kitten meows at him.
“Yeah, yeah,” he murmurs, opening his tired eyes. “You’ll get a cool name soon, don’t worry, dude.”
He strokes his back, gently. Smiling when he starts to purr as he moves closer to him.
A yawn falls from Steve’s lips, he runs his fingers through his hair, he looks over at the clock. He raises his eyebrows in surprise, it’s 6:46am.
“Look at you, I don’t even need an alarm anymore,” he mumbles.
Cat meows at him, standing up on all paws, he suddenly digs his nails into his chest as he stretches.
“Ow!.. Yeah, no, we don’t do that on humans, buddy,” he mumbles as he picks him up, giving him a kiss on the head, before he puts him down on his pillow.
Steve throws the covers off himself, stretching his arms out before he gets up and walks over to the window, he opens the curtains and takes a look outside before he walks over to the closet, picking out some clothes for the day.
“Gonna take a shower and then make breakfast for the princess,” he says to his new buddy, as though he would answer. He looks back at him to find him staring with his head tilted. Steve chuckles, “yeah, don’t tell her I called her that, she’d probably punch me.”
After a long shower, he makes his way into the kitchen, he feeds his cat before he gets started on the breakfast that he cooks for Robin and himself every morning. He sips on his hot coffee, bobbing his head to music that plays from the radio that he bought a few days back as he stirs the scrambled eggs.
Robin walks out of her room moments later, with messy hair and a very tired look on her face, she makes a stop in the bathroom before she joins Steve in the kitchen.
“Morning Dingus,” she grumbles as she pushes past him. She grabs her favorite mug from the cupboard and pours the freshly brewed coffee into it.
“Morning, Robby,” he chuckles. “How’d you sleep?”
“Like shit,” she mumbles, walking over to the fridge, she opens it and grabs the creamer. “I need coffee so so bad.”
Steve scrunches his face up at her, watching her pour tons and tons of creamer in.
“I don’t know how you can drink that, it’s too fucking sweet, Robin.”
She rolls her eyes at him, taking a sip from it, she closes her eyes and nods. “No, this is exactly what I need. Flavored goodness to wake me up in the morning.”
“Yeah, it’s the overload of sugar that wakes you up, not the coffee in there,” he chuckles as he points to her mug. “It’s bad for your teeth.”
“It’s not an overload, you’re just a grandpa.”
“Why? Because I don’t like creamer?”
“No, because you don’t like sweet stuff.”
“Not true, I got sugar in my coffee.”
She snorts, leaning against the counter, she holds her mug against her chest, “yeah, how much? A sprinkle?”
He takes a sip of his coffee, shaking his head at her, “nope, two teaspoons.”
“Oh wow!”
He rolls her eyes at her, placing his hand on his hip, he turns back to the stove.
She chuckles at his pose, “you know, you’re like a real mom – cooking breakfast for me, telling me to be safe even though I’m dating a girl, telling me that sugary stuff is bad for my teeth.”
He waves her off, “yeah yeah.”
She laughs, walking over to their kitchen table, she sits down and reaches for the newspaper, “hey, where’s your little buddy?”
Steve uses the spatula to point at the couch, “buddy is sleeping.”
Robin straightens her back, looking over to where he’s pointing, she finds the tiny kitten sleeping on the fluffy blanket she left there, last night.
Her eyes soften and her lips pull into a pout, “he’s the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen – I’m so happy you kept him.”
“Not like I had a choice,” Steve snorts, though his eyes are soft as he looks at his little buddy. “Dustin forced me to keep him.”
“Don’t act like it wasn’t the birthday present you ever got,” Robin says, glancing at him.
Dustin and Max thought it was a great idea to adopt a kitten for his 21st birthday. He didn’t exactly have a choice but to keep him – besides, Steve fell in love with the cat the moment he held him in his hands.
“Yeah, I love him. I don’t have a name for him yet though.”
Robin shrugs, “you didn’t like any of my suggestions. I guess he will stay ‘Cat’ forever.”
“No, he won’t,” Steve shakes his head as he walks over to the table, placing both plates on the table before he walks back to the counter to get his cup of coffee.
“That smells good,” Robin smiles at him, pulling the plate closer and reaching for the fork, “thanks mom,” she teases him.
He flips her off as he sits down across from her, making her chuckle.
She takes a bite of the toast and digs into the eggs, getting lost in her thoughts as she chews her breakfast.
Steve looks at her, watching the way she raises her brows before she holds her finger up, like she does every time whenever she remembers something important.
“Oh! I just remembered, Lizzy told me that someone’s moving in next door!”
“Really?” He asks, furrowing his brows at her.
“Yeah, some couple.”
Steve frowns at her words, dropping his fork, he reaches for his mug.
“Damn, let’s hope they’re nothing like the couple in the last apartment building,” he says in disgust.
Robin and Steve lived across the street in the old building for almost two years and almost every night, they’d both have to wear earplugs to avoid hearing them moan and scream.
“They were horny rabbits,” Robin laughs in amusement as she continues eating, totally unfazed by those memories.
“Yeah, like you and Chrissy,” he mumbles, glaring at her. “I hope the walls here are thicker than in the last apartment.”
Robin blushes at his words, though she keeps the teasing smile on her lips. Excitement rushes through her when she thinks about her girlfriend, who is currently away for college.
“You’ll find out next week.”
“She’s coming to visit?”
“Mhmm.”
“Cool,” Steve nods, smiling at her. “Alright, I’m gonna clean up the kitchen and you should start getting ready for work or the manager will kick you out.”
She snorts at his words, rolling her eyes at the teasing look on his face.
“You’re the manager, Dingus.”
“Not yet, Robs.”
“Yeah, well you’re almost the manager.”
“Almost, yeah.”
-
It’s the beginning of September, the last days of summer are going strong. It’s not as hot as it was in July or August, but it’s still very warm. The afternoon sun shines into the store, the soft breeze from outside touching his skin as he passes by the open door.
It’s a slow day at Family Video and Steve spent most of his time stacking up new tapes. Frowning every time he passes by Pretty in Pink, he came to hate the movie, simply because he gets asked about it at least five times a day – and because Robin and Chrissy force him to watch the movie with them, all the damn time.
He’s organizing the shelf in the back aisle, fixing all the tapes that have been put back unevenly.
He furrows his brows when he hears Robin’s whispers as she seemingly talks to someone at the front, though he doesn’t take a peek to look who it is, he figures that she’s using the phone to talk to Chrissy as always. Keith almost caught her during one of her phone calls – she came up with a lie and he of course had her back, Keith didn’t seem to believe that she was talking to a customer who was asking for a very specific movie, he also didn’t believe Steve when he told him that said customer calls all the time, but he brushed it off, surprisingly. He must have had a good day, otherwise he would have fired them both probably.
He almost flinches when he feels someone tapping his shoulder – he didn’t even hear the footsteps.
“Excuse me? – Can you help me find Pretty in Pink?”
It takes him a moment.
He almost groans in annoyance at the mention of that movie but then his eyes widen and his heart leaps to his throat. For a second he thinks that it’s his mind playing tricks on him but when he turns around, his eyes widen even further and his lips curl into a big smile.
The same eyes that were filled with tears after the last goodbye two years back, now stare at him with happiness and excitement in them.
You are here.
You came back.
“I– Dolly?!” He gasps as he looks you up and down, like he can’t believe that you are truly here after being away for so long.
“Hi, Stevie.”
You’re looking at him with a smile on your face as you take in the sight of him too.
It’s almost been two years since you had last seen each other.
Two years since you have left Hawkins.
You look happy, you look beautiful, even more so than before. Your hair is even longer now, styled perfectly, long bangs are framing your face. Your lips are cherry red, it suits you well. You’re wearing a short sundress, your sun kissed skin is glowing beneath the sunlight that shines into the store. He can smell your perfume, it’s a new one.
You look amazing, healthy and at peace.
Snapping out of it, he drops the tape he was holding, not caring where it lands. He takes a step forward, he wraps his arms around your waist and picks you up, twirling you around as he holds you tightly.
A squeal falls from your lips before you start laughing, you wrap your arms around his neck. Hugging him back just as tightly.
“I missed you so fucking much!” He exclaims, squeezing your waist. “I’m never letting you leave again.”
“I missed you too, Steve.”
He missed your voice too – you called him on his birthday but this is different.
You giggle, letting go of him when he puts you down again.
He squeezes you one more time before he pulls away from the hug, still smiling for you, unable to tear his eyes away from you.
“Hi,” he whispers.
“Hi,” you smile, giggling again.
You take in the sight of him. He changed, somehow he appears even taller to you than before. His shoulders are broader, his hair is longer, a light stubble on his cheeks. He looks older, in a good way. But most importantly, he looks content, he looks happy and that makes your smile even bigger.
He blinks, he opens his mouth to speak again but he is stunned, completely caught off guard.
He takes a deep breath, running his fingers through his hair before he puts his hand on the shelf next to him.
“I– wow, I can’t believe you’re back,” he says, shaking his head. “And you, you look amazing.”
You look down at the floor, smiling at his words.
“Thank you. You do too, Steve.”
Your eyes meet his again when you look back up.
“Thank you,” he smiles as his eyes soften.
He gets excited, too excited at the thought of seeing you around town again. Hawkins hasn’t been the same since you left. It was weird at first, places that you have always gone to, suddenly seemed so lonesome and lifeless, despite the people around them. You were just gone and he hated it.
“W-Wait, are you back for good or are you just visiting?”
You shake your head, “no, we’re back, for good.”
Steve can’t begin to describe how happy he feels to hear these words. He missed you, he missed his best friend.
There are so many things he wants to ask, so many things he wants to tell you but he is just too stunned.
He looks over your shoulder, “where’s Eddie?”
“He’s talking to Robin, wanna go say hi?” You smile.
“Yeah, let’s go,” he nods, putting his hand on your shoulder. “So, did you guys plan to come back here or was it spontaneous.”
“Both. We just kinda made that decision spontaneously, back in July. It’s been nice to live in a big city and travel around whenever we had the chance to but we missed everyone here,” you pause, smiling when your eyes meet Eddie’s as you and Steve make your way to the front desk. “Even Eddie, can you believe that?”
He chuckles, knowing how much Eddie always cursed about this town.
“Do you have a place here already or are you staying with your mom?”
You shake your head, “no, Wayne helped us find an apartment and Enzo was happy to offer Eddie a job again.”
Steve nods, smiling.
“And you?”
“Oh, I got an interview tomorrow at the new coffee shop here!” You explain, excitedly. “We checked it out earlier, it’s so cool! They sell books and records!”
His eyes light up, his lips curl into a smile, “it’s a good place, they make good coffee there.”
“Do you go there often?”
He nods, “yeah and so do Max and Lucas, they go there to study – like every afternoon,” he chuckles.
“Really?” You ask, your eyes lighting up.
“Yeah!”
“Cute,” you smile. “But uh, let’s not get too forward, maybe I won’t get the job.”
He pats your shoulder, giving you a soft smile, “nah, you’ll get it. You love coffee, books and music. They gotta give you the job. – But hey, if you wanna stack up VHS tapes all day, this place will look for a new employee soon, so if you’re interested,” he offers as his smile grows wider. “I’m gonna be the manager soon.”
You both stop at the counter and Steve places his hand on his hip, smirking a little.
Your eyes widen at his words, “no way! That’s amazing, Steve!”
“What’s amazing?”
At the sound of his voice, Steve tears his eyes away from you and looks over at Eddie. He takes him in just like he did with you – it’s almost odd to see him without his signature leather jacket or his vest, his skin a little less pale than usual. He notices the new tattoos on his left arm and how his hair is slightly longer than it was when you both left. Unlike the last few times they had seen each other, there’s not a single negative emotion lingering in his brown eyes – no insecurity, no jealousy, no fear. Eddie looks happy, just like you do.
“Hey man,” Steve nods at him, not even needing to force a smile this time.
“Hey Steve,” Eddie nods, smiling back at him and offering his hand to him.
They shake hands, taking in the sight of each other. There’s no tension between them, not anymore.
“Steve is gonna be the new manager here soon!”
Eddie’s eyes widen, he chuckles at your excitement and smiles at Steve, “congrats, man! That’s nice.”
“Thanks, Eddie.” Steve smiles.
Robin looks between them as she leans against the counter with her arms crossed over her chest, smiling at the two men.
Eddie wraps his arm around your shoulder once he lets go of Steve’s hand. Giving you a smile when you press yourself against him.
“Well, this is nice,” Robin snorts, clapping her hands together as she looks between both men. “You finally got a guy to hang out with, Steve,” she winks at him.
He snorts at her, rolling his eyes. “I got a guy.”
“Who, cat?”
You snap your head towards Robin before your eyes lock with Steve’s, “Cat? You got a cat?”
He chuckles at the excitement in your eyes. “Yeah, Dustin and Max got me a kitten for my birthday.”
Your eyes widen as a gasp falls from your lips, making both him and Eddie chuckle.
“Yeah and he still doesn’t have a name!” Robin exclaims.
“Oh my god! A kitten?” You pout as your eyes soften.
“Yeah, he’s really cuddly too. You’re gonna fall in love with him,” Steve smiles.
Eddie chuckles at his words, looking down at you, “she falls in love with all the cats, Steve.”
“Yeah, that’s why she fell for you,” Robin snorts.
Eddie furrows his brows, “what?”
“You give off cat energy, Eddie. Always hungry, hissing at everyone and clingy with just that one person.”
Eddie’s lips part, confusion flashes in his eyes but he’s amused by her words. He wraps his arm around you tighter and kisses your cheek in response, making you giggle.
“See,” Robin chuckles.
“Oh.. yeah,” Steve mumbles. “You’re onto something, totally reminds me of Cat–”
“Cat is the poor kitten he hasn’t named yet, by the way,” Robin interrupts him, glancing at the both of you.
Steve rolls his eyes but continues, “cat waggles with his tail when he hears Metallica on the radio.”
“You got a rockstar cat!” You laugh.
“Can we meet the little rockstar?” Eddie asks, surprising Steve.
He was unsure of how Eddie would react if he tried to be your friend again, fearing that he would have a problem with that or try to keep you away from him out of fear that he might try to get you back. He didn’t expect Eddie to be the one to make the first move though but it puts a smile on his face.
“Yeah, of course! You two should come over tonight so we can catch up.”
“Yes!” Robin says, excitedly. “You can tell us all about your fun adventures!”
“That would be nice,” you smile. “I missed hanging out with you guys.”
“Yeah, me too, surprisingly.” Eddie snorts.
“Don’t act like you didn’t cry over us every day, Edward,” Robin teases him, looking between you two. Her eyes suddenly flash with curiosity. “Hey wait, where are you two staying?”
You and Eddie share a look, smiling at one another before you turn back to her.
“Wayne helped us get an apartment! We moved all the boxes in and some of the furniture from our old place earlier,” Eddie explains, moving his hand to the small of your back. “The place is just around the corner.”
“It’s cool, we love it. And the landlord is a really nice lady.”
Robin and Steve slowly turn towards one another, sharing the same look as realization dawns on them both.
Lizzy, the really nice old lady, told Robin about the couple that was moving in next door just last night.
Steve purses his lips, slowly looking back at you, “w-wait..”
“Umm, your landlord doesn’t happen to go by the name of Lizzy?”
Eddie raises his brows at them both, nodding.
“Yeah! She was sweet and she complimented me – oh! And she told me how much her husband looked like Eddie when he was young!” You giggle.
Steve’s lips part in surprise and Eddie almost wants to laugh at his expression until Robin opens her mouth.
“Wow, she must’ve had two husbands then because apparently Steve also looked like her husband!” She says, chuckling as she takes in the confused looks on your and Eddie’s faces.
Steve pinches the bridge of his nose, mumbling something under his breath as his cheeks flush red at Robin’s comment.
“W-Wait what?” Eddie stutters, tilting his head at her. “How do you – huh?”
While your boyfriend takes longer to realize what is going on, it only takes you a second to understand that your landlord is also Steve’s and Robin’s landlord.
“So.. you are the couple who’s moving in next door?” Steve waves his finger between you and Eddie.
“Next door?” Eddie mumbles. “Didn’t you – wait, I thought you still lived in that apartment next to Radio Shack?”
You nod at his words, you thought the same thing.
Steve and Robin share a look, both sighing at the mention of their old place.
“Yeah, we moved out of that one two weeks ago, it was a shithole, honestly.”
Robin nods with her eyes wide. Tapping her fingers against the counter, “yep.”
You and Eddie chuckle in confusion, taking in their ‘traumatized’ faces.
“What was wrong with that place?”
“Oh, it’s a long story!” Steve laughs, scratching the back of his neck. “We’ll tell you all about it later.”
“Yes! We’ll order some takeout, have a couple of drinks and you two can tell us all about Chicago!” Robin smiles.
Excitement rushes through you. You missed your friends, you missed Robin and Steve.
Eddie squeezes your arm, he looks down at you.
You meet your boyfriend’s loving eyes, he nods at you.
A smile tugs at your lips, you lean your head on his shoulder and turn back to your friends.
“We’d love to.”
Steve’s eyes light up, he smiles at you, clapping his hands together.
“You’ll get to meet cat!” He chuckles.
Robin chuckles at his excitement, she runs her fingers through her hair, “Steve and I are gonna order the food!”
“And we’ll get the drinks,” Eddie winks at her.
She clicks her tongue, winking back at him.
Steve chuckles at them, he looks back at you, “alright then, neighbors,” he says with a funny look on his face. “I’ll drop by your place after work, gotta see and make sure that you didn’t get the better apartment.”
A laugh falls from your lips, “we totally did, Stevie.”
“You wish,” he smirks.
“The place is a mess, we gotta get some stuff done.”
“Like what?” Steve asks, looking at Eddie. “I can help.”
“Nah, it’s fine. I got it,” Eddie smiles, though he appreciates the offer.
“I’m off this weekend, so if you need anything, let me know.”
You’re pleasantly surprised to see them getting along with each other.
Time has passed, things have changed, feelings have changed. But nonetheless, you expected more tension between them – you are happy that it’s not the case.
And as they fall into a conversation, you and Robin smile at each other, knowing that things will be different this time.
-
Steve’s and Robin’s place is a little bigger than yours and Eddie’s. It’s colorful, not overwhelming though, it’s comforting and cozy. String lights are hanging from the ceiling, posters of Indie bands on the living room walls, pillows and blankets on the couch, you remember seeing those on Robin’s bed in her old room at her parent’s place.
Boxes of takeouts, drinks and snacks are all across the small table. Music plays in the background.
You’re sitting on the floor, a box of polaroids in front of you, a smile lingering on your face as you look through the pictures that were taken in the past two years.
Robin is next to you, telling you the stories behind every picture.
“He is such a cute little thing,” Eddie coos at the kitten in his lap, chuckling when he digs his claws into his shirt, using it to crawl up on his chest. Cat purrs as he rubs against Eddie’s face. “Damn, you’re making me want a cat too.”
Steve takes a sip from his beer, leaning back on the couch, “you should get one, they’re adorable.”
“Can’t believe you didn’t name him yet.”
“Yeah, everyone has been suggesting names!” Robin exclaims, looking away from the picture of her and Chrissy. “He hates every single one!”
Steve rolls his eyes at her, “they just don’t fit, Robby!”
“I fear he’s gonna be Cat forever,” Eddie pouts as he pets him.
You put the last picture back in the box and stand up, smoothing down your skirt and Eddie’s shirt that you changed into after your shower earlier. You sit down next to Eddie, snuggling against his side – the moment you do so, Steve’s cat makes his way towards you, jumping into your lap and looking up at you with his green eyes.
Your eyes light up, your heart soars in your chest as you pick him up and pull him closer, setting him down on your chest.
“Hey there, little buddy,” you whisper, smiling as he snuggles deeper into your chest, purring as he digs his claws into your shirt. “You are such a sweet little angel.”
Eddie chuckles, reaching his hand out to pet his head.
“You love those boobs don’t you, Cat?” He smirks. “I do too. They’re so fun to play with.”
“Eddie!” You gasp.
Robin laughs at his words and at the flustered look on your face.
Steve shakes his head, snorting.
“He is a very innocent little thing,” you coo at the kitten, scratching the spots behind his ears, he keeps purring, closing his eyes as he lays his head on your chest. “Oh my god, I love him.”
Eddie smiles down at you as you lay your head on his shoulder, he wraps his arm around you.
Steve leans his elbow on the headrest, looking between you and Eddie, the way you are so natural and comfortable with each other – it’s nothing new to him, you have always been like that with one another, maybe slightly less touchy.
The look in Eddie’s eyes as nothing but pure love and adoration as he laughs when Cat licks your nose.
You giggle, scrunching up your nose and closing your eyes.
He can’t describe the feeling in his chest at this moment, but seeing you so happy, seeing the love between you and Eddie makes him feel at peace.
Two years ago, he let go.
A part of him will always think back to it, back to you and to what you both had.
But he let go, and it’s good like this because he still got to keep you in his life, maybe not like before, but he is happy with what he gets to have now.
You left and you both lived separate lives.
But you came back and you’re here again.
And maybe, you both can go back to how things were before you crossed the line and left behind a friendship that you both mourn.
“Hey Dolly?”
You turn your face towards him, looking into his warm eyes, “yes?”
“Do you have some name suggestions?” He asks. “You always named the stray cats so..”
A smile pulls at your lip, “hmm.”
Robin reaches for the bowl of popcorn on the table, placing it on her lap, she begins snacking as she shoots you a look, “I’m warning you, he’s gonna hate all the names.”
“Shut it, Robs.”
She flips him off, causing Eddie to chuckle at their interaction.
You hum as you look at the black kitten on your chest, “void.”
Eddie snorts, “that’s a good one.”
Steve sighs, shaking his head.
“He rubbed off on you,” he mumbles, nudging Eddie’s shoulder. “What would the child, innocent and pure 10 year old Dolly name this cat?”
You giggle at him, turning away to look back down at him.
“Hmm… Stevie!”
Robin and Eddie laugh at your name suggestion.
“What?”
You look over at Steve, who’s staring at you like he’s waiting for you to continue.
“Not you. The cat! Call him Stevie – he gives off Stevie energy.”
Steve scrunches his whole face up, “I am not naming the cat after me! Seriously, do you guys even try?”
You all laugh at the disapproving look on his face.
“Ozzy,” Eddie shrugs.
“Huh?”
“Ozzy Osbourne,” Eddie says to Steve. “You know, from Black Sabbath?”
Steve stares at him with furrowed brows and downturned lips. But as he watches his cat claw his way out of your lap and jumps over Eddie to get to him, he looks up at him, yawning as he settles in his lap.
“Ozzy,” Steve murmurs, petting him. Steve smiles when he starts purring. “Yeah, I think he likes that one.”
“Is that a yes?”
Steve’s eyes meet Eddie’s, a smile tugs at his lips. “Yeah, shit.. you got a name, buddy,” he chuckles as he looks back down at Ozzy.
Robin claps her hands, “finally!” She cheers. “Wow, I can’t believe you let Eddie name the cat.”
“Does that mean you’re both his parents?” You ask, giggling.
Eddie snorts, pulling you closer as he smirks down at you.
“Sure, but I got full custody of my child,” Steve jokes.
Two years back, Steve would have rolled his eyes at your joke but now he just laughs and plays along.
You have noticed how much he changed.
Your last moments with him, before you left, weren’t the happiest. He was sad, heartbroken and lost. But now he seems content, happy. Even after his failed attempts at dating again, he doesn’t seem sad or heartbroken over it. He told you about his horrible date experiences with Heidi and Amanda – and he didn’t seem pained while he was talking about it, he was amused, that’s all. He tried dating and he gave up, not because he wasn’t ready but because he is just not looking for love or a relationship – ‘It will happen when the time is right.’ He said.
He is more relaxed now, calm and he seems more confident with himself. You like seeing him this way, he deserves to feel comfortable with himself.
“A cat is good training for kids someday,” Robin says, leaning back as she throws popcorn into her mouth.
“Oh really? Do you want kids?” Eddie chuckles.
Robin shakes her head with wide eyes, “hell no. I’m not Steve, he’s the one with a car full of kids.”
“Do I look like I have a bunch of kids?” Steve mumbles, confused.
“Yeah.” All three of you reply in unison.
“You have six kids already.”
He rolls his eyes but chuckles, “they’re not even kids anymore!”
“Maybe you can babysit their kids soon,” Robin wiggles her brows as she nudges her chin at you and Eddie.
“Oh my god,” you groan, shaking your head at her.
Steve suddenly frowns, blinking as he stares at you and Eddie, “wait, where’s your bedroom again?”
“Huh?”
“Your bedroom, what side is it on? Cause our last neighbors were fucking like rabbits!”
“Yeah it was disgusting!” Robin mumbles.
“You’re one to talk!” Steve glares at her. “I have to wear earplugs every time Chrissy comes to visit, they’re fucking rabbits too.”
She grows red, rolling her eyes at him.
You laugh at the flustered look on her face.
“Yeah, I hope you still have those earplugs,” Eddie chuckles. “Our room is right over there.”
Robin groans loudly as she looks at the wall he’s pointing at.
Steve sighs.
“We got kicked out of our last apartment because we fu–”
“Eddie!” You punch his arm, cheeks feeling hotter than before as you shake your head at him.
Steve and Robin stare at you both in disbelief.
“No, I swear. They kicked us out cause we were too loud,” Eddie says proudly, while you continue shaking your head.
“And you will get kicked out a second time if you don’t keep quiet,” Robin points at him with a glare.
Steve laughs, shaking his head as he brings up his drink to his lips.
“Time to use the ball gag, baby,” Eddie smirks.
Steve chokes on his beer, eyes widening at Eddie’s words.
“Jesus fucking christ, Eddie!” You gasp, burying your face in your hands.
Robin laughs loudly, throwing her head back.
“God damn,” Steve coughs, furrowing his brows at you. “I thought you were a good girl, Dolly.”
Eddie snorts at that, looking over at Steve to see him smirking.
You glare at them both, but you can’t even hide how flustered you are.
“Robin, help me out.”
“No, I’m having too much fun here.”
Rolling your eyes, you push Eddie’s arm off and get up with a sigh, “I need another drink,” you mumbled under your breath as you leave the living room in a haste. You hear their snickers even when you enter the kitchen, you can hear Eddie saying something that makes Steve groan and Robin laugh even harder.
You shake your head but a smile tugs at your lips.
You reach for the handle on the fridge when your eyes fall on the picture next to the many magnets. Your smile transforms into a softer one. It’s an old picture of Steve and you.
You remember that day, it was his birthday, his sixteenth birthday. His dad had gotten him the BMW. The moment he had gotten those keys, you grabbed your polaroid camera, you wanted to take a picture of him and his new car but Steve had pushed the camera into his mom’s hands and asked her to take a picture of the two of you in front of his new ‘baby’.
You were still best friends at that time. Steve's arm was wrapped around your shoulder, you were wearing a cardigan that was way too big for you, it hid the pretty dress you were wearing underneath. You looked so happy in that picture and so did he. You were smiling into the camera but Steve was looking at you with a big smile on his face, eyes that were still shining with happiness and love.
“You looked so small standing there in your cardigan.”
You flinch, looking back in surprise.
Steve is leaning against the doorway, looking at you.
“You scared me,” you chuckle, putting your hand on your chest.
“I’m sorry,” he smiles as he walks into the kitchen. “My mom gave me this picture when I moved out.”
“Oh, that’s where it was!”
He nods.
“Yeah. I remember how excited I was to go for a drive and forced you into the passenger seat,” he says, chuckling at the memory. “She put that picture into an album.”
You smile, looking down.
“You ever miss those days?” He asks, leaning against the kitchen counter with his arms crossed. “When we just got into high school, we'd just drive around, listen to music, go to the movies..”
“Eat junk food, gossip about the bad hair styles in the magazines,” you add, laughing.
“Exactly,” he nods.
“Yeah, sometimes. Cause back then things were simple and we were just teenagers who still lived in that safe little bubble.”
“Yeah,” he sighs but he smiles at you.
“I kinda miss talking shit about bad hairstyles,” you laugh.
He nudges your shoulder with his, “hey, we can still do that. I mean with the addition of Eddie and Robin now,” he chuckles as his eyes soften. “Eddie is… kinda.. cool now. I think we’ll get along better now.”
Your gaze softens, eyes shining with happiness.
“That’s all I wanted,” you whisper.
You wanted your best friend back in your life and you wanted your other best friend, your boyfriend to get along with him. But you knew that it might not ever be possible, because sometimes, time changes nothing – you hope that it did in this case, though.
“You know, I’m kinda excited to have you as my neighbor.”
Your eyes flash with surprise, your lips twitch. You weren’t sure how he would actually feel about this, having you and Eddie as his neighbors.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I can bother you all day now,” he smirks. “And Eddie too. I’ll blast pop music every night.”
A laugh falls from your lips, “don’t mess with Eddie, he will come over with his guitar,” you chuckle. “His electric guitar.”
He snorts.
“I’m not even kidding,” you giggle as you think about all the performances Eddie had given to you – sometimes wearing nothing but boxers while you laid in bed, watching him with a smile on your face.
“I believe you,” he chuckles. “It’s Eddie we’re talking about, he always loved his dramatic performances.” He refers to all the speeches your boyfriend had held on the lunch tables in the cafeteria.
“He really did.”
Steve watches the way your eyes glow with love as you think back to the times where you and him would watch Eddie jump around on the lunch tables. Had someone told him back then, that Eddie would end up being your boyfriend and he your ex boyfriend, he would probably have had a mental breakdown over it or maybe he would have laughed, not believing that you would end up with a metalhead instead of him.
When you left, he spent a lot of time wondering what would have happened if he never left you.
Would you have still met Eddie?
Would you have been the one to leave him the way he left you for her?
Was everything supposed to go this way because you and Eddie were always meant to be together?
So many what if’s had haunted him for a long time after you left but not anymore.
He made peace with everything, a long time ago.
He loves you, he always will.
You will always have a special place in his heart as he will have one in yours.
And seeing you so happy and in love with Eddie, doesn’t fill him with pain anymore, it fills him with joy because this is what you deserve – to love and to be loved ten times more.
And even if his wishes from the past didn’t come true, he is still happy because even after everything, you came back and he gets to have you in his life again.
You still wear his locket and he still wears your wristband – you are still special to each other, you are still best friends.
You left behind your first love but you never left your friendship behind.
“You know, I was a little worried that you forgot about me,” you tease him.
His eyes flash with sadness, a soft smile appears on his face as he takes your hand in his.
“I could never forget you, Dolly,” he whispers, squeezing your hand. “You’re my best friend.”
A breathy laugh falls from your cherry red lips, your bangs fall in front of your eyes as you look down for a moment.
“You’re my best friend too, Stevie,” you whisper, looking back up.
You both smile at each other, eyes filled with happiness and a love that you carried for one another as kids.
As you stand there and look at one another, you know that everything is okay now, everything is good.
There is no sadness between you both anymore, no tears, no pain, no heartbreak.
You’re both okay.
You’re both happy.
This love will last forever.
He lets go of your hand and brings it up to your face, pinching your cheek as 10 year old Steve would do.
“Come on, Dolly,” he teases, laughing when you swat his hand away, just like 9 year old Dolly would do. “I’ll race you to the living room.”
You roll your eyes at the cocky smirk on his face as he starts to walk backwards.
“You know I’m faster than you.”
“Oh, are you?” He chuckles.
“Yes, I am.”
Before Steve can even react, you move past him and push him back a little before you run out of the kitchen, laughing loudly when he groans.
He runs after you, reaching for your elbow but you push his hand off and bolt into the living room.
“Eddie, help!” You giggle.
Your boyfriend straightens up, watching you with an amused look on his face as you run past Robin and hide behind the lovechair.
“No, help me! She plays dirty!” Steve exclaims.
“Is that true, sweetheart?” Eddie smirks, his brown eyes flashing with mischief as he stands up.
You shake your head, pouting.
Eddie chuckles at that, moving towards you, while Steve walks towards you on the other side.
Your lips part as you watch them, eyes widening when they glance at each other with smirks on their faces.
“You’re teaming up on me!? You’re my boyfriend, you’re supposed to protect your princess!” You giggle as you start walking backwards. Glancing at Robin who watches the three of you in amusement while Ozzy sits on her lap, looking between the three of you.
“Are you good princess or bad princess, right now?”
Steve furrows his brows, looking over at your boyfriend, “why do I have a feeling that this means something dirty?”
“Because it is,” Robin gags.
You and Eddie smirk at each other – but your smirk quickly falls when Eddie suddenly lunges forward, you turn around, trying to run but he wraps his arms around you, picking you up with ease, “got ya, baby,” he whispers in your ear and kisses your shoulder and then your neck, making you giggle softly.
“She’s definitely bad princess, right now.” Steve snorts.
Eddie pulls you back towards the couch, holding you tightly as his fingers dig into your waist, making you squirm beneath his touch.
“Well, I captured the bad princess,” Eddie jokes, murmuring into your hair.
You giggle, your heart fluttering at the feeling of his hands on your skin. You place your hands over his, laughing when he pulls you down on the couch with him.
“Hold on tight to her,” Steve chuckles, smiling at Eddie.
Eddie tightens his grip on you in response, smiling when you turn around to face him, your smile mirroring his. His heart flutters in his chest – just the way yours does as you look into your boyfriends beautiful eyes.
“I always will.”
Robin looks between you and Eddie with a smile on her face. A strand of Eddie’s hair gets stuck on your eyelash, making you both laugh when he tries to pull it away. She looks up at Steve, he watches the two of you and for a moment, Robin fears that old wounds will be ripped open again, that even after two years, she will have to hold him again while he cries because he won’t ever get you back the way he had you before – but, the smile on his face isn’t faked, it’s very real and it isn’t a sad one.
“Hey Steve?”
Steve tears his eyes away from you and looks at Eddie.
“Yeah?”
“Do you wanna watch Pretty in Pink with us?”
Robin laughs, watching Steve’s face contort into annoyance.
“No!”
Eddie and you giggle at the look on his face.
“Anything but Pretty in Pink!”
“Anything?” Eddie raises his brows.
“Yeah.”
“But what if I wanna watch Pretty in Pink with you, Stevie?” You pout.
“Yeah,” Eddie chuckles, cupping your cheeks with one hand, he squishes them slightly. “Can you really say no to that cute face?”
He sighs, tilting his head as he looks at you.
“I can already tell, you two are gonna be menaces, even more so than Robin and Chrissy!”
Robin scoffs, rolling her eyes at Steve.
“Nah,” Eddie shakes his head, letting go of your cheeks, he pulls you closer. “You’re gonna love us.”
Steve sits down on the loveseat, smiling when Ozzy jumps out of Robin’s lap and runs towards him, he leans down and picks him up when he sits down by his feet. He pulls the kitten into his lap, letting him snuggle against his chest.
“Will I?” Steve asks, frowning playfully.
“Oh yeah,” Eddie chuckles, kissing your cheek.
“You definitely will, Stevie.”
You lay your head on Eddie’s shoulder and you look around, happy to be in a room with your favorite people. Excitement lingers inside of you, to be back here with Eddie, to settle in for good this time, to see your friends again – to see Eddie and Steve getting along, to see Robin and Chrissy together again, to hang out with Heather and Argyle again.
You place your hand over Eddie’s left hand, playing with the silver band on his finger – the one that matches your own, the one you put on each other’s fingers that one night in Vegas.
And you look around the room again, the conversation as trivial as possible. Your boyfriend and your best friend getting along – when two years ago this would have never happened.
It’s happiness, pure and absolute happiness and you are hoping that it will stay that way.
“Dolly, tell Eddie that Fleetwood Mac is superior to Iron Maiden, please!” Steve says with a smile, and you can’t even answer as you feel your eyes burn slightly from the joy your heart is feeling.
Yes.. now you are sure that this happiness will linger forever.
Like a tattoo.

Busybody
summary: when Steve notices your anxiety spiraling out of control, he finds his own way to help
cw: anxiety
Steve Harrington x fem!reader ♡ 1.3k words
You’d woken up with some busybody in your chest that you can’t get rid of.
It feels like you’ve had three cups of coffee despite your four hours of sleep. You’d all but jolted awake, pre-panicked about something that you haven’t identified yet. Something you have to be forgetting, or not assigning enough importance to, surely. And the way you figure it, if your body’s going to freak out at you about being idle, you may as well appease it and hop to.
By the time Steve cracks an eyelid, you’re thinking about what to make for lunch. Heart never having left your throat, you’ve cleaned the kitchen, baked a blackberry cobbler, tried to read a few pages of your book before giving up for fidgetiness, reorganized your portion of the bathroom cabinet, and begun a grocery list for the week.
“Morning,” he yawns, leaning against the counter. He’s looking endearingly rumpled, a faint red line on his face from a crease in his pillowcase and his hair pressed flat on the one side. You smile at him as he rubs the sleep from his eyes. “Smells like fire in here.”
“Morning! I made a cobbler,” you explain, not mentioning the burnt first attempt that’s smelled up his kitchen despite you opening all the windows. “Do you want some bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast?”
Steve blinks, eyebrows rising slightly. “Uh, sure. You gonna make me some?”
“Mhm.” You’re already taking the eggs out of the fridge. “Scrambled?”
“Yeah. Thanks, babe.”
“No problem.” You grin, happy to be of use as you whisk his eggs with a fork, turning on two burners of the stove to preheat as you do. “How’d you sleep?”
“Good,” he yawns. “Well, pretty good. Woke up a couple times this morning, but you were already gone. Been up for a while?”
“Yeah, couldn’t sleep.”
Steve nods, frowning. “Sorry, honey. You didn’t get much chance to sleep the night before, either, right?”
You hum, bacon sizzling when it hits the pan. You put the toast down in the toaster, hoping you’ve timed it right so it’ll still be warm when everything else is done. “Oh, do you want orange juice?”
“Sure, but I can grab it.” He moves for the cabinet, but you nudge in front of him, too restless to stop moving while everything heats on the stove.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got it.” You shoot him a smile as you grab a cup. Steve returns it, but muddled.
“So between last night and the one before, how many hours have you gotten?”
You shrug. “Not sure.” Nine, give or take. “But I don’t feel tired.”
“Well, that’s good,” he says slowly, watching as you fill the cup with orange juice before hustling back to the stove, flitting between tasks at something approaching light speed.
“Hey, so I was thinking,” you go on, flipping the bacon, “do you want to do some Christmas shopping today? I mean, I know you said you’re not thinking about it yet, but it can’t hurt to get a jump on things.”
Steve yawns again, stretching his back. “Yeah, that sounds okay. Not sure I’d know what to get anyone.”
You nod a few times. “Maybe you’ll know it when you see it.” Flip the bacon onto a plate, add more pepper to the eggs, put the bacon’s pan in the sink, turn off that burner on the stove—the toaster goes off, and you nearly hit your head on the ceiling. You jump straight up.
“Oh.” You press a hand to your chest, laughter tripping off your tongue. Your blood thrums excitedly, like it’s finally found the outlet it's been looking for all morning. “God, that scared me.”
“I could tell,” Steve says, eyebrows at his hairline and smiling faintly. “You doing alright?”
“Yeah, good.” Your heartbeat has become more noticeable all of a sudden, a hollow ache behind your breastbone. “I’m almost done, just a sec.”
“No rush, honey. Thanks for making me breakfast. It looks great.”
“Of course, no problem.” You plate up the rest and spin to find Steve already there, his hand the only thing stopping you from nearly flinging the dish into the wall surprisedly.
“Thank you,” he says earnestly, taking the plate from you and setting it on the counter. He brings his arms around your shoulders, and you wrap yours around him too, an automatic response. Steve sighs, his ribs expanding and contracting with the force of it, and you copy him mockingly.
“Still tired, baby?”
“A little,” he admits. “Though I can’t really complain, considering how little sleep you’ve gotten.”
You make to pull out of the hug, but Steve tightens his grip on you, palm pressing into the midpoint of your upper back. You give in, a willing captive.
“It’s fine,” you tell him. “I’m sorry you’re tired.”
Steve hums, taking another big breath. “I’m good.” A pause. “Okay, you can tell me if I’m crazy, but it does smell like something’s burning in here, right?”
“Burnt,” you admit. “I left a blackberry cobbler in the oven a bit too long. The one in the fridge is a re-do.”
“Oh, okay.”
“Sorry.”
“No, don’t be. I think the smell’s clearing out anyway. Right?”
You sniff experimentally at the air. “Yeah, I think so.”
“Yeah?” he sniffs too.
You inhale more fully, only detecting the faint remains of smokiness under the newer scent of bacon grease.
“I’ve never had blackberry cobbler,” he says, palm beginning to coast slowly between your shoulder blades while his other arm stays firmly around your waist. “What’s it taste like?”
You perk up. “Wanna try some now?”
“No—I wouldn’t want to ruin this breakfast you’ve made me. Describe it to me.”
It’s an odd request, but nothing you can’t manage for him. You think back, letting your tongue conjure up the memory of the last time you had it. “Well, the blackberries aren’t tangy by the time they’ve been cooked,” you tell him. Steve hums, hand solid and steady on your upper back. “And this recipe is really sweet. The dough is kind of like sugar cookie dough.”
“Sounds good,” he says appreciatively. “Hey, do you think you can smell it?”
“From inside the fridge?” You take your head from his shoulder to give Steve an odd look.
“Sure, just give it a try.” He closes his eyes, inhaling deeply. You wrinkle your brow, sniffing tentatively. Steve opens his eyes as if to check you’re doing it, and it’s the worry in his look that gives him away. Your bemusement gives way to fondness as you take a long breath in, filling your lungs and holding the air inside you for a few moments before emptying them. You know what he’s doing, but you’re letting him anyway.
“Mmm, don’t think I can,” you tell him wryly.
“No?” Steve’s smile is sheepish, well aware you’re onto him. “Do you think we should find three things you can touch, just for fun?”
You roll your eyes at him, but inhale again as you hug him tightly. Some of the pain in your chest eases. “Thanks, Stevie.”
“What for?” he asks, hand resuming its route between your shoulder blades. “Hey listen, I’m all about your Christmas shopping idea, but do you wanna try taking a hot shower first? It might help you relax.”
“That’s a good idea,” you admit, peeling away from him. He lets you this time, albeit reluctantly. “Your breakfast is going to get cold.”
Steve looks at it as though just remembering it’s there. “Right, thanks. Sit with me while I eat? You could have some of that tea you like.”
You smile at him, taking a mug and your herbal tea down from the cabinet. “Yeah, that sounds good. Thanks.”
“You’ve got to stop thanking me, I haven’t done a thing all morning.”

Complete fluff, but what would the 141 be having when you show up unannounced at their apartment around dinner time, needing a place to stay after a fight with your roommate/parents/significant other?
CW: Food.
Price - Spaghetti Bolognese. The sauce is from a jar, but he cooked the meat and vegetables himself, letting it all simmer together long enough that the rich smell fills his flat.
A salad and a baguette finish it off.
"I always make enough to feed an army." He smiles warmly as he divides it up between your two plates.
He's lying of course, he fully intended to eat the whole thing himself.
Soap - Frittata. He usually just makes himself a protein shake after the gym, but upon seeing your sorry state, he sits you down and starts cooking while he listens to you get it all off your chest.
His fridge doesn't have much, but he finds half a bag of spinach that's only partially slimy, an opened package of bacon that passes the sniff test, and some eggs.
You may have caught him by surprise, but his mam raised him to be resourceful in the kitchen.
Gaz - Roast chicken and steamed vegetables. You don't know what you were expecting when you walk in, but it certainly isn't an entire roast chicken, herb crusted and glistening as it rests on his countertop.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were expecting company. I'll go." He was clearly preparing to impress some hot date, or maybe his mum and dad were coming to visit.
"Na, it's not like that. I make a whole chicken on my day off and it feeds me all week. Stops me from getting takeaway every night," he jokes as he pats his rock-hard stomach.
Healthy and simple. No wonder he stays so fit.
Ghost - Beans on toast. He was halfway through eating when you'd knocked on the door. Still licking the gummy bits from his teeth as he takes you in, not bothering to put on his mask once he'd seen you through the peephole.
"Right," is all he says as he hands you the unfinished plate of soupy tinned beans and pops his last two pieces of bread in the toaster.
"What are you going to have?" you ask, as he sits across from you and folds his arms across his chest.
"Had a big tea. Eat up, before it gets cold."

after-workout snack
(cw: age gap 25/41; nsfw, mndi, smut, hard f*cking, smutty domesticity, fluff)
I get up from the couch, putting the book away I was just reading, and go to the kitchen. König has been rummaging in there for what seems like an eternity, prepping his after-workout meal (it really is more of a meal and not a snack, my god, this man can eat).
I pop my head in the door and there he is, in sweatpants and a simple black shirt with cut off sleeves. His long hair is still wet from the after-workout shower, swinging around as he navigates the small space between the counter and the kitchen isle. Well, it actually isn't that small, but his stature dwarfs even big rooms.
I come a few steps closer and of course, he hears me approaching. He shoots a look over his shoulder, the corners of his mouth turning up in a grin when he sees me. I automatically smile back, I just have to, when I see him like that, his smile changing his features, the intimidating looking scowl he always wears on his face dissipating into the smirky grin I have gotten so used to.
The pump from the workout makes his arms look even bigger than they actually are, letting him seem broader than he is, while the hulk of a man is just cooking himself something.
"You want some Eierspeis as well, Hexe?", he asks me, pulling his eyebrows up. He keeps sprinkling german words into his sentences and I learned the most important ones. Like the dozen pet names he calls me - his new favourite is "Hexe", meaning 'witch'.
And "Eierspeis" is just the Austrian word for scrambled eggs, and he eats a looot of those, so that he kind of perfected them over the years.
"Oh yes please.", I answer, coming closer yet.
He nods, "Coming right up!" and turns to huge fridge that is always stocked to the brim when he is on leave. He opens the door and bends forward to get the ingredients.
His thighs stretch and his butt - deliciously firm - gets pushed back, his cheeks filling the sweatpants just right, and an idea crosses my mind.
A giddy grin stalks onto my face as I take two huge steps in his direction. I grab his hips with my hands, my fingertips digging into the muscles, pulling him into me while I push my hips forward.
A tingle rolls down my spine, but I burst into laughter as my lap collides with his thighs, due to size difference, and his butt gets pushed against my tummy. He's already craning his head back, but I get on my tiptoes, barely containing my laughs, and hump him again.
"What are you doing, brat?", he asks me, his voice beaming, but I can hear the amusement in it.
He turns around and catches my wrists, right as I giggle: "Nothing!"
Before I can register what's happening, he already has turned me around and bent me over the kitchen isle. Pushing his hips up against my ass, stretching my wrists over my head, draping his chest over my body, until his face is nuzzling into my neck.
"Didn't I give you enough attention today?", he asks softly, but with an edge, pressing his groin up against me, humping me now, and I can feel him harden quickly.
"Apparently not.", I sigh, arching into his movements. Moaning when he rubs his dick against my clothed pussy, the friction driving me crazy.
He chuckles. "Seems like we need to change that.", he drawls, straightening back up and letting go of my wrists. He pushes my leggings down hastily, the panties getting caught in there as well, the fabric pooling around my knees, and pulls his dick out of his sweatpants.
He's dragging his length back and forth, between my butt cheeks that he is gripping with his strong hands, and I know his fingertips will leave marks. Teasing me like that, with languid strokes, not giving me what I want just yet.
I squirm underneath him, restlessly, the cool surface of the kitchen isle sending shivers down my body as I get pressed against it. "Please...", I say, quietly.
"Please what?", he asks, and I can hear the smirk in his words. Oh, he's enjoying this, getting me all needy for him.
He pulls back a little and spits, the sound blanking my mind, before I feel the wetness drip down my ass to my pussy. And I can’t even answer.
"Please what?", he repeats, his voice almost turning into a purr, while his dick slips between my thighs, warm and hard against the sensitive skin, his tip nudging my clit.
"Please, fuck me...", I plead desperately, my hips bucking up searching for more friction.
He doesn't drag it out any longer and slips into me. Holding onto my hip with one hand, the other grabbing my shoulder, as he slowly drives into me. The familiar stretch of his girth makes me shiver and moan, while my mind already screams for more. He lets me adjust to his size for a few moments before he pulls back and starts to fuck me hard. His dick pistoning in and out of my pussy, hitting that certain spot inside of me.
It's a good thing that the kitchen isle is one of those built in ones, cause the force of his thrusts is shaking it. Only a little bit, the sturdy wood is not budging easily, but still.
My obscene moans and screams echo through the kitchen, intermingling with the sounds of skin slapping against skin.
I would've slumped into the cool marble counter if it hadn't been for his big hand holding me in place. My back is arched, my head turned up, as he pulls me into him, meeting his movements.
"Taking me so well, Liebes.", he drawls, my only answer a fucked-out whine, as I get pressed into the countertop again.
The swells of my ass are cushioning his hard thrusts. This position is always the most intense, with our size difference, and how deep his dick reaches like that, the tip bumping against my cervix, more than once, and it's making me lose my mind.
My eyes roll back, when I stretch around him again, my mouth turns into an O-shape-
"Fuck, König! Fuck..." The words spill out of my mouth and before I can tell him that I'll come, I already am, my thighs shaking hard.
"Yes, Liebes, oh, fuck, ja.", he breathes, not stopping to fuck me, not even getting slower. "Fuck, du fühlst di so guad an." (You feel so good) I don't understand what he's saying, just the way he says it, his voice breaking off into a deep sigh, grunting as he bottoms me out again and fills me up with his come.
His thrusts are getting slower and shallower as we're both coming down from our orgasm, and he bends down to press a kiss to my cheek, and I turn to the side to meet his mouth, my hand cradling his face.
In moments like this I always wanna say something, but it's hard to find the right words. So a kiss must suffice, telling him what I can't say out loud.
"Thank you, Sir.", I mumble against his lips.
"You're so very welcome, Hexe.", he says, giving me one more kiss, before he straightens up and pulls back, his dick slipping out. I can feel his come drip out of me before he puts my panties and leggings back into place. His hand stroking down my butt as I slide off the counter, slumping into him. He hums softly, pressing a kiss to the top of my head, and I relish the little hug, pulling his arm closer around me. Just a little moment before we break away.
König gets back to the workout meal, fetching some more stuff from the fridge, where I interrupted him so rudely before. I get a wet cloth and some cleaner, and wipe the kitchen isle down properly, before I sit down next to him. And just watch him prepare the scrambled eggs.
"I didn't plan for that second workout...", he says with a wink, cracking another egg into the pan, and I laugh, seeing that he already went through a whole carton.
"Me neither.", I shoot back, adding cheekily: "Gotta watch your cholesterol, old man."
He pulls up an eyebrow, the 'watch it' clear in the look he gives me. Leaning in again, he murmurs: "Oh, I have you to help me work it off again.", the tone in his voice telling me exactly how he plans on doing that.
"You do.", I say smiling, kissing his nose, the crooked bridge where it has been broken two times. He goes cross-eyed, following my movement, and that breaks his domineering expression. I laugh a little, pulling back. He grins at me, catching my chin to press a big loud kiss to my lips. "Ach, Hexe.", he says, sighing, but it's a content one, as he gets back to finally finishing up the after-workout snack.

If Snow Decides to Fall
2. “Hi, you.”

Chapter Warnings: Light smut, references to sex, pregnancy
Back to Chapter Index
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Jimin had gotten out of bed before you, for once. His place on the bed was left a gathering of sheets, cold and crumpled.
After brushing your teeth and hair, you got into a cozy lounge set, and padded out of his bedroom, into the hallway. The sound of running water could be heard from the kitchen, so that's where you headed next.
He was still in his typical sleep attire - boxers and nothing else. His toned back was facing you, giving a view of the moons etched into his skin. He was filling up a pot in the sink to make French-press coffee when he heard your footsteps.
You were greeted with his hoarse, low morning voice, "Hey, you're up."
"Morning," you yawned, "You are up earlier than usual.”
He turned off the tap as you sat down on one of the stools at the kitchen island, “Yeah, I didn’t sleep well honestly. Kind of hard when you find out your girlfriend’s pregnant.”
“I know, I didn’t sleep the greatest either,” you said prior to realizing, then your cheeks flushed a deep rose, “Wait, girlfriend?”
Jimin turned around and put the pot of water on the stovetop to boil. He was grinning at you handsomely, with hair slightly disheveled, “We hang out, have dinner together, watch movies, have lots of sex, and we love each other enough to have a kid together. I’d say we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now, if you’d like to be.”
You smiled back, “I suppose that’s reasonable.”
He rounded the corner of the grey marble top of the island, aiming straight for your lips. His kiss was short and sweet, exactly the kind you had grown accustomed to when it came to Saturday mornings with him.
“Would you like some coffee?” He asked before pecking your cheek.
You wrinkled your nose, “I’d love some, but unfortunately I probably should stick to decaf now.”
He pursed his plump lips together and hummed, “Oh shit, that’s right. Are you hungry at least? I can make the eggs you like.”
“Over easy?” you shook your head and laughed, “I don’t think I can have those either. They’re too raw.”
Jimin chuckled, bowing his head in defeat, “Scrambled then.”
“Thanks.”
He nodded and happily returned to the stove, getting out a pan and setting it on one of the burners. As he opened the fridge to get out a carton of eggs, he glanced back at you through slightly puffy eyes, “So aside from not being able to have your normal breakfast, is there anything else different?”
You propped your chin up in the palm of your hand, “You mean the symptoms? Well, it’s been kind of mild, to be honest. The only symptoms I’ve had so far are sore boobs and a little bit of spotting. Actually, now that I think about it, I might be sensitive to the smell of kimchi too. But that’s all.”
“I hope it continues to be relatively easy," Jimin cracked a few eggs into the pan, "But I'll be here for you if it gets worse. This reminds me of something important I thought about while you were sleeping - your key."
You tilted your head to one side, "My key?"
"To my apartment," he said, "You have it, but you always knock on the door and wait for me to let you in. From now on, please use it. Let yourself in, whether I'm here or not."
"Are you sure? I don't let myself in because I know how much you value your privacy."
He smirked, whisking the eggs to scramble them, "If I wanted privacy from you, I wouldn't have given you a key in the first place. Maybe you haven't noticed, but I really enjoy your company."
In an attempt to conceal how much of a sucker you were for his little flirtations, you pursed your lips together. Still, it was plain as day when he glanced at you. This flustered yet giddy expression was a habit of yours that he adored.
Jimin turned the heat up slightly on the stove before letting the eggs do their thing, "Besides, I want to be here for anything you need. My biggest fear with this whole thing is not being there like any decent father would be. It will be hard enough with my schedule."
You detected the insecurity on his face, "Don't worry. I promise I'll use the key from now on."
You scooted the stool backwards so you could get up. Then you made your way to the other side of the island, hugging him from behind. Your cheek pressed against his back.
He released a content sigh and twisted himself to face you, enveloping you in his chest instead. His lips kissed the top of your head, "It's interesting. I feel like one moment, it's really hitting me, and the next, it doesn't feel real."
"I know," your voice was slightly muffled against his skin, "I can't believe I'm going to be a mom."
Jimin had recollections of you playing with the kids of your coworker. He knew you had a loving, natural touch with children, "I've seen you with Chaeyoung's twins. You'll be an amazing mother."
You didn't know if you believed him with such immense pressures staring you down, but you smiled anyway, "And I've seen you with the managers' kids. I think you'll be an outstanding father."
He laughed a little nervously, "It feels so absurd applying the word 'father' to myself."
"But we'll get each other through it," you muttered, "Because we love each other, right?"
He smiled again, closing his eyes and cherishing the feeling of having you in his arms, "Exactly."
Both of you heard a little sizzle coming from the pan on the stove. Jimin chuckled, “I’d love to stay like this, but I don’t want to serve you burnt eggs.”
Eating breakfast that morning was slowed by both of your needs to talk this through some more. He had to leave for another recording session at noon, but there was still time to discuss some of the general things.
You told him about what your care provider told you, “Apparently, the best time for me to get an ultrasound is in the next couple of weeks. I’m assuming Doctor Baek will be able to give me a list of recommendations for obstetricians. I guess you wouldn’t be able to go…would you?”
“I hate to say it but I don’t know,” he said with his hands on his thighs, “We are due in Tokyo next week and will be there for eight days, doing various promotions and the Vogue shoot. This is going to be one of the biggest issues throughout this whole thing. Some things are easy to get out of, but others won’t budge. And even if I could make it to an appointment, how would I be able to explain my presence there?”
You don't know how you could have forgotten about the Tokyo trip. Sometimes, you attended trips like this, but a photoshoot as big as Vogue didn't require your assistance. They had quite a few of their own people for styling.
“That’s right,” you huffed in a slouch, “The doctors are legally prohibited from saying anything, but there’s no way we’d be able to avoid other patients and staff seeing you and talking.”
He swallowed a bite of food, nodding along, "It might be a stretch, but if we can get the ultrasound for this coming week, we can have the doctor come here. As you know, I leave my Friday evenings free when I'm in town."
"Here? You're comfortable with that?"
"Not entirely," he admitted, "But like you said, they can't say anything without risking losing their license. It makes sense for the sake of privacy, and it would allow us to squeeze it in between all of my commitments."
"That sounds nice, but I’m going to be swamped at work this week. We’re putting together your styling concept for the tour next year. Maybe we could find time after you get back from Japan.”
Jimin became more serious and put his hand on your knee, eyes firm, "Y/N, as much as I want to be there, let's not ignore the advice of the professionals. If it's better to get a read on you and the baby sooner rather than later, then don't wait for me.”
It was disheartening, but it was something you’d have to get used to. You wanted to do this, but it little about it would be normal. You had to make peace with that.
“Okay,” you sighed, “I’ll call today and see what’s available.”
He leaned forward to kiss your temple, “I’ll be excited to hear all about it, baby.”
You smiled at his touch, “Well that’s that. Now onto an even more pressing matter…”
He finished what was on his plate and took another sip of his coffee, “Which is?”
“Who are we going to tell about this?” You asked with raised brows, “Obviously no one at the company can know, at least not yet.”
“I’ll have to tell the guys at some point before you start showing, or they will figure it out on their own. And I know they would keep the secret for as long as we asked them to.”
You already felt mortified with that, but again, you had to get used to the awkwardness, “Alright. What about our parents?”
A twinge of guilt rang through him, like a child who was about to get a scolding. Jimin took his empty dished and got up to put them in the dishwasher, mumbling a cuss or two.
He said under his breath, “My parents would definitely come around, but they’ll also want to kill me.”
“Do they…know about us?”
The dishes clanked in the washer as he shuffled some things around, making room for the new ones, “I’ve told them I’ve been seeing someone and that things have been getting more serious. But they’d never see this coming. What about your parents?”
Your features sank, “They’d probably want to kill you too, no offense. I don’t think they’d be thrilled with the idea of their daughter having a baby with a popstar out of wedlock. It’s, uh…kind of a negative trope.”
“I get it,” Jimin then came over and took your dishes away for you, “Have you told them about us?”
You wanted to shrivel up and hide somewhere, “Not exactly…”
He was taken aback, “Really? Not a single thing?”
You sat on your hands and shrugged, “They’re as traditional as it gets, Jimin. They wouldn’t react kindly to me sleeping with you. They don’t even agree with the career I chose. Honestly, I don’t really speak with or see them that often. They live on the other side of the country.”
He could have been offended by the idea of your parents’ disapproval of him, but he wasn’t. Instead, he grinned, “Then I guess we have our work cut out for us.”
You half laughed, though you were more apprehensive than amused, “We certainly do.”

Jimin was the last to join the recording session. It wasn’t a big deal - the others started without him, taking turns in the booth.
When he entered the recording room, Jungkook was in the booth with headphones on, singing the lines in front of him. Yoongi and another producer were sitting at the panel, while all the others were either sitting on the couch or bean bags.
“There he is!” Hoseok called out with his classic mile-wide smile.
Taehyung covered his mouth, chuckling, “You look exhausted, hyung. Late night?”
Just because the work had begun didn’t mean he could escape a little teasing. It was normally alright with him. After all, they all knew about the affair, but his patience would be thinner than normal today. He was running on little sleep and just had his world shaken.
He faked a short laugh, but it didn’t travel all the way to his eyes, “Yeah, late night.”
Namjoon made room on the couch and he sat back onto the plush leather, letting his head lean all the way back. The leader and the others were glancing at one another with confused looks on their faces. It was typical for Jimin to be the last one to arrive, but once he showed up, he was in work mode. Right now, he looked somewhat out of it.
“Woah,” Jin said, “Must have been a really late night.”
The session lasted hours. Much to their surprise, Jimin never seemed to get into the groove. He recorded his parts well, but the intense focus was simply absent.
Jungkook, who had been with him the day before, already had a suspicion that this was about you.
Not only was this their brother who they passionately cared for, but they also had an important trip coming up. They needed to figure out what was going on.
When it was time to wrap up, the six members waited for the other producer to leave the room. It was only after that could they mention you by name. After all the years together, it was like they developed a form of telepathy. Something was up with their friend, and they moved in-sync to fix it.
Jimin was puzzled as to why no one was grabbing their things to leave.
Once they were isolated as a group of seven, Namjoon started the conversation from his same spot on the couch, “Let’s stay for a few minutes to talk about whatever’s going on.”
He knew it was about him, “I’m alright, guys. Really. Just exhausted.”
“Are you positive? Because you don’t just seem tired. You look withdrawn.” Jin said.
Trying to play it off coolly, he smirked, “That can happen when one gets tired.”
“Jimin, come on. It’s us,” Hoseok urged, “We just want to make sure you’re all good.”
“I am.” He gave the persuasion another go.
But it was to no avail. Jungkook spoke up next, leaning with his back against the wall, “I’m sorry, hyung, but I have to wonder if this is about that thing with Y/N yesterday.”
“What thing?” inquired Yoongi.
The youngest of the group looked to the man in question to give him a chance to respond, but when Jimin had nothing to say, he continued, “I was with him when we ran into her on our way back from the shoot. Their exchange was kind of weird and timid. Something between them was off.”
The others could definitely see how that would be strange. They’d all witnessed the two of you interact before, and it was always great. You gelled together so well, so effortlessly.
“Oh,” Taehyung took a much more sympathetic approach this time, “Are you guys going through a rough patch?”
He would have panicked that someone had heard that, but he watched the producer leave with his own eyes. It was all clear, “No. As I said to Jungkook yesterday, we are perfectly fine.”
They weren’t buying it. Their disbelieving faces made that painfully clear, but he couldn’t tell them the truth yet. Both of you would need some time to let this sink in and plan some things out. Still, he had to give them something, just to get them off his back.
Jimin sighed, “Okay, fine. I was going to tell you all when it felt like a good time and place, but something has changed between us. Recently, Y/N and I decided that we are going to start taking our relationship more seriously.”
“Soooo, what?” Jin asked, “You’re finally going to call yourselves a couple?”
“Yeah...I also told her I love her.”
Some of the guys hooted, others sighed out of pure relief. They thought this day would never come.
Yoongi chuckled, “That’s wonderful and all, Jiminie, but we all fucking knew it for months.”
“About time,” Taehyung beamed, “So she’s officially a girlfriend?”
Begrudgingly, knowing it would cause another mass tease, Jimin nodded, “Yes, she’s my girlfriend.”
Hoseok smirked, “So you’re exhausted because you’ve been pulling out all the stops, huh? Nice.”
“And he’s not focused because he’s got love on the brain.” Jungkook messed with his hair a bit. Jimin quickly brushed it back into place, rolling his eyes with a soft grin.
Oh, if only they knew what was actually on his brain at the moment, he thought. But it didn’t matter. He did what he needed to do for the time being. Now all he had to do was keep up the facade for a few more weeks, or until you and him mutually decided it was the right time.
All but one began to get their things together in preparation to leave. Namjoon felt another point needed to be made on this topic, but decided to let it go for now. It was getting close to dinnertime and they had made plans to order in at Jin's place. He would bring it up there.
Tumblr media
Jin's apartment was so home-like and comfortable, which was why it was a common hangout spot for the group on nights like this. There was a feast of food in front of them to share and fill their stomachs. The soju was flowing, warming them up and loosening some tongues.
Jimin, for one, appreciated some semblance of normal life with his friends. He tried not to dwell on it, but he realized that being a part of nights like this would likely become a scarcity once he had fatherly duties to perform. His career would have to change, but now he was confronted with the possibility, or inevitability, of his friendships changing.
Hoseok, who was sitting next to Jimin, gave him a fraternal arm around his shoulder, tugging him closer, "Hey, now that you and Y/N are official, she should come around us more often. She could spend some time with Yunhee too."
Yunhee was his longtime girlfriend, and by no means the only serious romantic partner in the group. Namjoon and Jin were in relationships as well. It could be good for you to get to know the other women who were dating members of BTS, if anything for the moral support side of it all.
The head of the group heard Hoseok's suggestion and it resurfaced his concern from earlier. His head perked up, thinking now was the right moment. Namjoon consumed another sip of soju first.
"I don't know if that's the best idea, Hobi."
The other conversations at the table simmered down. He didn't intend to get everyone's attention, but there was nothing to do about it now, "Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for you, Jimin. Y/N is a nice person and all, but let's not forget where she's employed."
"So what?" Hoseok's brows were furrowed, "She can't hang out with us or our girlfriends because she's a stylist?"
"Well...yeah," Namjoon sighed. It didn't feel good to administer this dose of reality, "At least not in larger social settings."
"That's a little much." Jungkook remarked.
"No, he's right," Taehyung said, "I think we all trust ourselves and the other girlfriends to keep it quiet, but no one else can know. I don't know what repercussions they would have for you, Jimin, but Y/N would get fired."
"Exactly, thank you Tae," the leader nodded, "It sucks, but we can't treat this like we treat the other relationships. None of us want to see her lose her job over this. That means she can't be invited to parties, or given any special consideration when we run into her at the studio. We have to keep doing what we've always done."
Naturally, eyes began to land on Jimin, who was sitting there quietly until he noticed. He shook his head and swallowed the cut of pork that was in his mouth, "Look, Y/N and I are adults. We know what it means for us if we want to be together. Maybe someday, if things keep getting more serious, we can try to work around the company. But for now, we've talked about it and we can live with it."
There was a short hush at the table, as if everyone was expecting him to make some kind of protest against the notion of continued secrecy. Jimin began to think about what Hoseok said initially. Knowing what he knew, he thought it would be a good idea for those closest to him to get to know you better.
He added, "I do think it would be nice for you guys to spend more time with her, though."
"Sounds good to me," Jungkook grinned, stretching his arms up behind his head, "Besides, I'd like to know the inside scoop on how they plan on dressing me for the tour. Pick her brain a little."
Jimin chuckled, "I think they are in the very beginning stages of that, but go for it."
Namjoon was glad that there was a general agreement among the members. However, if he was honest with himself, his concern wasn't just with outside people having raised suspicions - you were in question too. Plenty of women chased fame through matters of the heart. What if you were capable of leaking the relationship yourself for a bit of notoriety?
He felt slightly disgusted with himself for thinking it, but his protective side was coming out. It had happened to other idols before. Plus, the fact of the matter was that none of them knew you that well. It couldn't be ruled out.
"Well, at least we don't have to keep pretending behind closed doors." Yoongi laughed.
Jimin looked at him, confused, "With who?"
"With you!" Jin guffawed, "You were so reluctant to put any sort of label on this relationship for so long. And you got annoyed whenever one of us would bring it up, so we've all been acting like we didn't notice the obvious."
"I feel like we do a pretty good job of hiding it," Jimin defended himself, "I don't treat her any differently than the other stylists."
Hoseok nudged him lightly, mouth full of ramyeon, "Yes, but in private, you have a certain face when she comes up in conversation. Seriously, we'll have to hold up a mirror for you next time it happens. Your eyes start darting around the room and your jaw gets really tense, the same thing that happens when you're suppressing any emotion."
He laughed at himself, taking another shot of soju, "Then I'm glad I don't have to embarrass myself anymore."
The evening returned to normal after the guys got bored of teasing their friend. All the while, Jimin felt like an imposter in his own body. He was selling it so well, a happy version of himself.
To some extent, he was happy, but he was also in a state a shock and apprehension. Three emotions swirling about within him, all equally strong and combative. He knew the shock portion of it would fade away soon, but could only hope that the nerves would follow suit.
He felt sturdy in his love for you and the desire to go through with the decision - he only wished that he felt confident that he could be a good, present father. His own dad was always there for him, nurturing and guiding him every step of the way. Jimin felt like he could count on him for anything. Would this child feel the same?
The hang-out ran late, giving him plenty of time to stew internally. Contradictory to past behavior, he was the first to call it a night.
The others started trickling out one by one, back to their own apartments. Being the named leader of the group, Namjoon always found himself being the last one out the door. Though he fell in the middle of the rank when it came to age, he tended to act like the oldest sometimes. Always making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to, or, on nights like this, making sure they were all okay to drive home.
A perceptive and sensitive soul, Jin always noticed this and it made him pity Namjoon. He could let loose every now and then - the leader side of him didn't need to be switched on all the time, certainly not when it was just the seven of them in private.
Once the others were all gone, Namjoon let out a breath. He still had to get his charger and light jacket, and then he'd head out too.
Bending over to unplug his charger from the outlet by the baseboard, he said to the host, "Thanks for having us as always, Jin. Sorry it went so late again."
The oldest waved away the compliment, "Never a problem, Joonie. But you do know this is my apartment, right? You don't have to stand here with me and say goodbyes until they're all gone."
Namjoon chuckled and fiddled with the white cord in his hands, whirling it like a propeller, "Yeah, I know. Old habit, I guess."
He then put on his jacket, fixing the collar and tugging it in a few places. The two men locked palms and brought it in for a hug, patting each other on the back with their free hands.
"Well, I'll see you." the leader smiled tiredly.
"Night." replied Jin.
Namjoon approached the door to make his exit, but he couldn't shake this one thing. He paused, "Hyung?"
"Yeah?"
He turned back around and put his hands in the pockets of his jacket, "Do you think this whole Y/N thing is good for Jimin?"
The older appeared unpleasantly surprised that he could pose such a question, "Uh, yeah, I do. She seems really sweet and they've been going pretty steady for a long time without an issue. Why?"
"Nothing, I just...nevermind."
"No," Jin stopped him from leaving, "What is it?"
Namjoon pursed his lips together for a moment, "I don't know. All of the potential issues with the company aside, what if she's just chasing his money or fame?"
Jin smirked, "I could maybe wrap my head around the money concern, but fame? They're a secret. There's no fame to be had. Unless you think she'd blab to the press on her own?"
He shrugged, "I mean yeah, it's possible. It wouldn't be the first time a person dated someone famous for some time in the spotlight. Now that they're serious, is it so strange to worry that she might turn around and use Jimin for some time in the spotlight?"
"Actually yes," Jin laughed in disbelief, "Because her job is on the line."
"I'd argue there would be plenty more for her to gain by publicly associating herself with one of the most famous faces on the planet."
The oldest member became more frank, "I have to say I'm surprised at you, Namjoon. It isn't like you to rush to judgment like this, especially of someone you hardly know."
He defended his consternation, "Well, it's the first time one of us has had this type of risky relationship. I just want to make sure Jimin's thought this through. If she-"
"She won't."
"But if she does, what happens? He'd be crushed. We all know that his last breakup tore him apart, and that was done in private. Imagine what it would do to him if she betrayed him like that."
Jin sighed, "Look, I think you're a good friend for wanting to guard his wellbeing, but no one here has been given any reason to think that Y/N would do anything like that. And Jimin is a full-grown man. He's capable of making his own decisions. It doesn't make you any better of a leader to helicopter over his dating life, even if you have doubts."
Namjoon took a deep breath and closed his eyes, nodding. Jin was right. There was nothing to validate his concerns - it was all mere conjecture.
"Okay," he breathed, "You're right. I guess all we can do is stay out of it and see where it goes."
His older brother gave him an exhausted smile and patted his shoulder, "Exactly. Goodnight, Joonie."
Namjoon turned around, nodding his head, "Night."
As he left the apartment, he still had a nervous feeling planted in his intuition. There was just something about this he didn't like.
Tumblr media
*One Week Later*
You went to Jimin's place the Saturday morning before he left for Japan. You hadn't been able to make it the night before, buried in work up to your eyeballs. It had been a rough morning for you so far - the infamous morning sickness had arrived throughout the past few days. It was funny they called it that, you thought, because it wasn't relegated to the morning only. So far, however, it was pretty manageable with the help of a vitamin. More often than not, it was a wave of nausea that would hit you without resulting in actual vomiting.
For the first time, you let yourself into the apartment without knocking. Once inside, you saw his duffle bag by the door, all ready to go, but he was nowhere in sight. The blinds were open, however, so you assumed he was awake.
You set your purse down on the entryway table and removed your shoes. As you padded closer to his bedroom, you picked up on the faint sound of the shower running. Entering the bedroom, you saw that the bathroom door was wide open, the space inside becoming slightly steamy.
You couldn't help but smile a bit as you went in. There was a large corner tub in there, but it was empty. Your eyes went instantly to the feast of Jimin's bare frame on full display in the walk-in shower. No curtains, no glass door. Just him.
His back was facing you, unbeknownst to your presence, letting you get a good view of his toned backside - and that included all of his backside. If only you weren't feeling so shitty, you would have been enticed beyond help.
You crossed your arms and cleared your throat.
Jimin didn’t even turn around, only laughed lowly, “Enjoying the show, sweetheart?”
You rolled your eyes with a grin, “Only a little, and unfortunately I mean that. I feel terrible this morning.”
He turned around, slicking his fully damp hair back out of his face. Eyes containing a devoted concern, he felt an entrenched need to solve the issue, “What’s wrong?”
You sat down on the closed toilet seat and sighed, hands on your knees, “Mainly queasy, a bit fatigued.”
He smiled sympathetically, extending his hand, “Come on.”
You laughed a little, “In there?”
“Nothing sexual, I promise,” he smirked some more, “Seriously, it will help.”
Reluctantly, you agreed and took off your clothes, leaving them in a pile on the floor. You trusted that his intentions were nothing but authentic. You caught him ogling your body once or twice, but he kept his urges in-check as you took his hand and stepped into the shower.
The warm water pattered on your skin, already giving way to some relaxation in your stirred stomach.
Jimin wrapped his arms around you from behind, kissing the cartilage of your ear, “I used to get horribly nauseous before big performances and interviews. A warm rinse and some deep breathing always helped me ease up. Just focus on breathing, I’ll take care of the rest.”
You closed your eyes, leaning into his caring embrace, “Okay.”
You kept your eyes closed as you inhaled and exhaled slowly, concentrating on the drops of water hitting you like a massage. Even better was the feeling of him washing you with a soapy loofa. There was no scent to whatever body wash he was using - just a soothing, sudsy coating on your skin.
Despite him meaning his promise not to take a lewd approach, Jimin couldn’t help but get a semi as he cleansed you, touching and looking at every inch of you. Your breasts were even more pillowy when they were glistening with shower drops.
“Is it helping?” He asked quietly.
You nodded with a soft grin, “Yes, thank you.”
The applied pressure lessened when he got to your stomach. He glided the wash over this area lightly and lovingly. When you realized how much attention he was giving to this part of you, your eyes opened to find him looking down at your abdomen with a lightness on his features.
You wiped some strands of hair out of his face, sticking them on top of his head with the rest, “What are you thinking about?”
He looked up to meet your gaze, “How nervous yet eager I am to watch your belly grow.”
You cupped one of his cheeks in your palm, “We can be nervous yet eager together then.”
He took a gentle hold of the wrist near his face and kissed your hand, “I really am sorry that I’m going to miss the appointment on Thursday.”
“I am too,” you sighed, “But it’s not going to be helpful to us if we dwell on things we really can’t change at the moment. Our experience will be different. We just have to live with that.”
Jimin hummed and turned you around slowly so that he could hug you from behind once more. His chin nestled on top of your shoulder. As he treated you to a couple of affectionate pecks on the neck, you held his arms.
“I just know there’s some way we can do this without having to be so elusive. There has to be. We can’t keep this a secret from the company and the public forever. Neither of us can live like that.” He said.
You continued to breathe deeply, the sickness subsiding bit by bit, “I hope you’re right.”
The two of you remained comfortably silent in the shower for a little while longer, simply existing with one another. It ended far sooner than you would have liked, but he had a flight to catch and would need to leave for the airport in an hour.
Both of you got dressed again and shared a cuddle in the living room while there was still time.
You enjoyed being encased into him while you could, your nausea almost gone now, “I know it’s only eight days but I’ll miss you.”
He felt the same. It wasn’t like you hadn’t been apart for that long before, but things were radically different now. There was something tying you together now on a much deeper level, “I’ll miss you too. I hope this coming week is easier for you.”
You put on a brave face, “I have feeling this won’t let up for a while. I read that some women have sickness their entire pregnancy. I hope I’m not one of them, but I’ll live either way. My workload will be lighter, so that might help.”
Jimin chuckled, rubbing your thigh absentmindedly, “Are you going to save the hottest wardrobe for me?”
You giggled, “You know the final decision isn’t mine. It will take some time, though. We are still in the elementary phases. Once we have all of the fabrics and color palettes finalized, we will move on to the shopping phase.”
“That sounds so fun,” he lamented, “Getting to pick designer clothing for all of us.”
“It can be fun, but it’s a lot of pressure at times to match the concept perfectly. You’d be surprised how many moving parts there are to simply picking out some outfits for the stage. We also take your personalities into account, to some extent, because you pick your own clothes for most interviews and promotional activities. If the clothes you wear on stage match your real style to some degree, then suddenly the whole thing feels like one giant authentic concept.”
He kissed your temple and laughed, “You’re such a little nerd for your job.”
You pushed into him playfully, “Rude.”
“No, it’s cute, baby,” he went on chuckling, “I love that you’re passionate about it.”
You exhaled into his chest, “I am, and I’ve grown to really like the people in the department too, not just the ones who are assigned to BTS. I guess that's why part of me wish we wouldn't have to let this secret out. I wish I'd be able to stay."
Jimin held you tighter, "You don't know that you won't."
"It's a high probability," you said, "It's like you said earlier. We can't keep this from the company forever. Living like that would be hell."
"We'll take it one day at a time. I just don't want to see you give up hope that things will work out."
"I won't," you promised, "I'm just trying to be realistic."
He huffed, "I know you are. I wish I could make reality more comfortable for us."
You shifted your position, propping yourself on your elbows to be able to look him in the eyes, "Speaking of being realistic, when are we going to tell the guys and our families?"
He closed his eyes for a moment, as if he had to mentally prepare himself to comprehend doing either of those things, "I can't wait too much longer without telling the members. Last weekend they noticed something was up. I was able to brush it off by telling them we decided to make things official between us, but they're just too close to me to keep the secret for very long."
You accepted this. It only made sense. These men knew him so intimately and were around him constantly. You adored Jimin but agreed that he probably would fail to conceal the news from them for very long.
"Okay," you said, "Maybe we can tell them together a few weeks after you get back. I'll be starting to show within the next month or so, and I'm sure you want to leave time to tell your family before the members."
He concurred, "I would like to tell my parents sooner rather than later. This just feels too big not to share with them right away. And honestly, as much as I'm dreading their reaction, I would appreciate their advice."
You tried to offer a reassuring smile, but the topic was disconcerting for you too, "I understand. Why don't you wait until after the ultrasound? That way you'll be able to answer the questions they will inevitably have, like what the due date will be."
He mirrored a more pleasant face, "That's reasonable. Do you think you'll do the same?"
You dropped your head and groaned, "I don't know. I love my parents, but I really don't expect a good response from them. And they will hold a grudge..."
Jimin ran his hand through your hair and stared at the ceiling, "I guess I better get ready to meet them, and you should get ready to meet mine."
Your eyes snapped back up, filled with apprehension, "What? H-How soon?"
"I don't know. But again, let's just take it one day at a time sweetheart. This week, all you need to worry about is taking care of yourself, hm?"
You re-centered your nerves and nodded, leaning your forehead against his, "And remembering to call you after the ultrasound."
He broke into a chuckle and tilted his chin upward so he could lock his lips with yours.
"Yes, that too."
Then the alarm on his phone went off. He had set it so that he wouldn't get carried away with holding you and run late for the airport. Both of you sighed. It was time to get up off this couch and say goodbye. You had to leave so he could catch his ride. For the sake of keeping the relationship under wraps, you couldn't exit at the same time. Jimin gave you one last hug by the door.
"Fly safely," you told him, "Have fun. I'm excited to hear about it when you get back."
He grinned, "I will. Keep drinking plenty of water and eat well."
He then released you from the hug and placed his hands on your tummy, "And have a nice time seeing our little...pomegranate seed?"
You giggled, "Good memory. I'll send you whatever photos I get."
You were pulled in for a series of heartfelt, slow kisses. Feeling so close to him made all of the fears seem smaller, even if it was just for a minuscule amount of time. Both of you knew to your cores that your lives would never be the same again, but your strengthening bond made it bearable.
“I love you, Jimin.”
“I love you too.”
Tumblr media
It was finally ‘Ultrasound Day’. Your appointment was at two-thirty, and you were filled with the jitters.
So far, no one in the office seemed to notice any of your symptoms. You’d been caught once or twice in the middle of a nausea spell, but were able to chalk it up to stress.
By the time to leave rolled around, you had been collaborating with Chaeyoung, comparing her fashion sketches with your swatch ideas. The goal was to identify some actual outfits that the team would then work towards replicating with various designers. The only thing standing between mere ideas and reality would soon be the finalization of the budget.
When you told your co-worker that you had to head off to another doctor's appointment, she seemed a little confused. You had just gone to one, two weeks prior. You made the excuse that it was only a routine follow-up to the one before. On your way out of the office, you wondered when you'd let them all know. Your belly was going to grow, whether you liked it or not.
You got in your car and put in the directions on your phone. You were going to a different hospital to see an obstetrician recommended by Doctor Baek. According to her, this new care provider had the capacity to give at-home ultrasounds, if you ever requested it. It was important to you to find someone who could if it meant that Jimin would be able to experience at least one of these.
When you were finally called back into the room, your hands had gone cold and clammy. A lovely nurse took down some of the basic information, took your vitals, and drew your blood to run a quick lab.
By the time the doctor came in, you were more than ready. She was in a set of navy blue scrubs with a sunshine smile, "Y/N, I'm Doctor Yoon. It's a pleasure to meet you."
You shook her hand, "Nice to meet you as well."
She sat down at the same computer where the nurse had just logged some information, looking it over, "Alright, so we're looking at about seven weeks. Your symptoms all seem totally normal. So far so good, Y/N. How are you feeling? Ready to see your baby?"
You smiled, "It's been a bit of a whirlwind, honestly. But yeah, I'm ready."
She didn't ask you if a father would be attending, assuming by your demeanor and words that you came alone. Instead, she gloved her hands and scooted closer to the exam table where you were sitting, "Okay then. Lay back there, and you can go ahead and undo your pants a little bit."
You followed her directions.
"Right, so I'm just going to put a little gel on your belly. Be warned, it's a bit cold." Her cadence was so pleasant - you were glad that you were evidently given an excellent recommendation.
The gel was cold, but it warmed up to your skin as she spread it around with the wand. You hadn't looked at the screen yet, frozen and not quite as ready as you said you were. There was a muffled sound that became more pronounced once Doctor Yoon seemed to have honed in on one spot.
Thump, thump, thump, thump.
That's when you looked. It was like something in your DNA had been kicked into gear in an instant. This intuition seemed to tell you exactly what it was. The screen was mostly grey, aside from a black zone in the middle. Nestled in that black pouch was a precious little white shape. It wasn't the perfect outline of a human being. In fact, you had no idea what developed parts you were seeing. But that new and profound maternal instinct within you was filling your heart with love and protection over this tiny thing.
"There you are," Doctor Yoon smiled, "And quite a strong heartbeat for your age, little one."
You didn't realize how emotional you were getting until you blinked away a couple tears. You didn't expect anything like this. In an instant, a small yet powerful connection was made, and suddenly your outlook was crystal clear.
This was yours and Jimin’s baby. A new little life that came directly from the love you shared with one another. Yes, the road ahead was bound to be tough, but now you were certain that it was all going to be worth it. Come what may, you were going to be a family. You were joyful, excited.
You began to smile through your tears, “Hi, you…”
Doctor Yoon was glad to see your reaction, “Everything looks great here, Y/N.”
“Oh good.” you beamed, unable to tear your eyes from the image on the monitor next to you.
She made a couple of clicks with a mouse as she continued to check around for another minute or two. Then she paused the screen and removed the wand from your abdomen. The image was still up on the screen for you to enjoy while she wiped the gel from your skin.
The doctor smiled as she peeled the blue latex gloves from her hands, “The measurements look good, all aligned with what we should see at seven weeks. Based on that, I’ll give you a due date of the eighth of January.”
In your soft, enchanted haze, you thought there couldn’t be a more perfect birthday for your child.
Doctor Yoon stepped out of the office for a brief minute or two. In the meantime, you re-fastened your pants and sat up. When she returned, she had printed photos to give you, “I had a feeling you’d want these. Now your second ultrasound should fall somewhere between eighteen and twenty-two weeks. I’d highly recommend scheduling that at the front desk as you head out. Just makes it easier.”
Your happy expression faded slightly as you held the printed scans in your lap, “Oh, I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to yet. The father…he travels for work often and would definitely like to be a part of the second one. We haven’t gotten to talk about any dates yet. And we’d like to possibly do it at home, if that’s okay.”
“That’s perfectly fine,” she nodded, “I do home visits all the time. You just call whenever you get it sorted out. In the meantime, just keep pushing through the symptoms and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, alright?”
You smiled, “I won’t. Thank you so much, Doctor Yoon.”
“My pleasure.”
When you walked back out into the parking lot, the world looked different to you. You couldn’t stop grinning and looking at the scans.
You couldn’t wait to share it all with Jimin.
Tumblr media
He was pacing the floor by the bed, itching for that call to come. He knew your appointment was early in the afternoon, but the sun was setting outside his hotel room and he hadn't heard from you yet.
The other guys went out to a restaurant, at which management had booked a private room, to have dinner. He stayed behind, telling them that you two had plans to FaceTime. It wasn't a lie, but he got teased mercilessly for it.
Finally, it came. His phone started buzzing, presenting a red and green button. He immediately pressed his thumb on the green button and slid it to the side, only to be greeted with the sight of you. Despite all of the not-so-fun symptoms you told him about that week, you looked radiant. It put a grin on his face to see you that way.
"Hi!" you chirped, head falling back onto the pillow on your own bed.
He chuckled, "Hey, baby. You're in a good mood, huh?"
"I am," you smiled, "How are you?"
"Good," he nodded, making himself comfortable by sitting on the all-white hotel bed against the luxe headboard, "We had Vogue today. It was a good shoot, good interview. No complaints. But don't make me talk about my day, I want to hear about the appointment."
You laughed, but then your expression settled into one of simple and pure bliss, "Jimin, I don't know how to describe it. It was quick, but one of the best moments of my life."
There was a huge relief and eagerness to know more, "Try to describe it, please. What did you see?"
The angle of your camera shifted a bit as you leaned forward, reaching for something. When it went back to normal, you were holding some photos up for him to see, "This."
It wasn't the most clear image, but it made his eyes squint with one of his largest smiles. He'd seen ultrasounds before, so he knew where to look. There was his child.
A tight sensation formed in his ribcage, but it wasn't bad - it was his heart swelling, "Oh my God, Y/N..."
"I know." you near whispered.
He experienced a rush of adrenaline, pushing his hair back only because he didn’t know what to do with himself, "Wow, that's incredible."
You were happy to see him have a similar reaction to yours, "That's not even the half of it, though. I heard the heartbeat."
Jimin could see you starting to get emotional and it made him want to leap through his phone and share this beautiful moment in person, "You did?"
You nodded, eyes brimming with tears. For a moment, you were at a loss for words, "It was just the most adorable sound, Jimin. The doctor said it was so strong for it being seven weeks."
"And everything else looks good?"
A content sigh left you as you smiled, "It's all perfect."
Now a new paternal emotion was unlocked for him - pride. He was somehow proud of his little son or daughter for having a good heartbeat and for growing so well, "That's wonderful. God, you have no idea how much I want to be with you right now. And wish I was there to witness it with you.”
“Me too,” you said, placing the printed scans on your wooden nightstand off to the side, “But I’m too excited right now to think of any downsides. It’s like all of the worries I have just evaporate when I look at those pictures. We’re really having a baby.”
Your boyfriend looked so alleviated and pleased to see you this assured. He licked his lips, “We really are, sweetheart. Did you get a due date?”
“Mhm,” you hummed, “January eighth.”
“January eighth,” he repeated with a single nod, “What a great way to start the new year.”
You giggled, “That’s true. A little winter baby.”
Jimin let his head fall back and let out a long, peaceful sigh, “This trip can’t end soon enough. When I get back Sunday night, I need to see you. Will you come over?”
“I’d love that.”
“And please take a picture of one of those scans and send it to me. I want to be able to look at it after we get off the phone.”
“I will.”
He didn’t want to, but he then said, “Okay. I’ll let you go now. Go make yourself some dinner.”
You laughed, shaking your head, “How did you know I haven’t eaten yet?”
“Because I know you,” he grinned cheekily, “We’ve spent a lot of evenings together, in case you’ve forgotten. I’m aware of your nightly habits.”
A blush crept onto your cheeks, “Fine, then I’ll go make myself something. Goodnight.”
“Sleep well tonight, baby. I love you.”
You knew you’d never get bored of hearing that come out of his mouth, “I love you too.”
Your face was then removed from sight. A few seconds later, he received a text from you. Opening it, he was graced once more with the image of the sonogram. A subconscious twinkle came upon his face as he zoomed in on the tiny white form in the middle.
The room was quiet, giving his mind all the space in the world to contemplate the little one yet to come into the world. Without knowing it, he uttered the same words you did:
“Hi, you.”

pov ur therapy is doom shopping - tim drake x reader (pretty bird countdown #1)
Tumblr media
The world stops for no one.
You drum your fingers against the marble of your kitchen island, browsing through online shops while you're supposed to be working on your paper, humming to yourself as the rain outside your window drums erratically against the glass. It's far too late for you to be awake, but you're also waiting for someone to get home. You wonder why he had picked such an early patrol time for once. It wasn't common for him to be back before two.
"The rain is terrible." Tim sighs, window opening as he slides in, unclasping his boots and cape, locking the window as he turns on the tint. "You alright?"
You hum at him, continuing with your shopping.
"Whatcha looking at?" He peels off his suit, dropping it down the chute as it lands with a thud, wrapping his arms around your shoulders as he stares at your screen.
"Doom shopping?"
"The day's been slow."
"I figured." He hums. "It's why I took an early shift."
"You seem to know me a little too well." You mumble, no real malice behind your words, clicking add to cart.
"Isn't it nice?"
"I suppose." You scroll through your cart, blinking twice before closing your laptop. "How was patrol?"
"You don't need to fill in the silence, you know?" He squeezes you, carrying you in his arms as he tells you about patrol anyway. You need time off from your mind, and he's more than willing to help you out. You'd have a higher chance of being better in the morning than anything else. "So? What did you do while I was out?"
"I put the dishes in the dishwasher." You hum. "Not to dry. To wash. I think we officially have enough dishes to use the dishwasher instead of handwashing."
"Mhm?"
"And I also made some steamed egg." You shift slightly in his arms as he reaches to open the bedroom door.
"Did you save me some?"
"Yeah." You yawn. "Middle section of the upper fridge. If you want anything else, there's quite a couple of things in the freezer. I think we need to eat the costco mac n cheese soon."
Tim laughs. "Yeah?"
"Mhm. Also, I was looking through my photos that I got before my gramps passed..."
"Were you thinking about him?"
"I was." You close your eyes as he sets you down on the bed. "I think that's why I'm so down right now."
"Yeah. I feel that." He mumbles. "I'll shower and then we can get to bed, alright? Feel free to keep browsing. The tablet is charged."
"Alright."
Tim finds that taking care of you is no big deal no matter how tired he is. It's as easy to take care of you as it is to breathe, and even with the ring on your ear and the band on your finger, he finds that it has only gotten easier to be your other half. He's sure you would say the same, your ring never leaving your finger even while resting — never gone even when he's bloody from the worse days of patrol. The dirt and grime slide down his body as he washes, bathroom door opening as you move to sit in the tub to be by him.
"You alright?"
The lack of response and comfortable silence tells Tim all he needs to know.
"Did you see the new video from Bernard?"
"The one detailing Nightwing as a vampire?"
"Yeah."
"I did." You hum.
"Thoughts?"
"Found it funny. He used one of my photosets from April Fools years back as evidence and I thought I was going to lose my mind." You hum. "Do you think the study could fit a couple more blind boxes?"
"I'm sure it can... somehow. We can always layer the figures." Tim reaches for face wash. "Oh, right. I saw your serum was low. Do you need more?"
"I went over my spending limit for the month, so next month." You mumble. "What do you think about a custom figure?"
"You'd have to be filthy rich for that, no?" He pauses. "Wait. Pretty bird. Why do you have a limit if my credit card never maxes out—"
"Well, aren't you filthy rich?" You raise a brow. "What if you divorce me one day?"
"I am." Tim agrees, closing his mouth to wash his face. "That's not happening. Shoo. You'll put me in my grave before I let you get away from me."
"Then, we can afford it." You hum. "Well, might as well spend the money. Considering that we don't want kids and all." You choose to ignore his words.
"I can't believe your mom is still pestering me to change your mind." Tim sighs. "What gene do they want to continue down the bloodline? Your brain?"
"Your brain, birdie." You chuckle. "You're rich, smart, and other than..."
"Hey, don't bring my height into this!" Tim gasps. "Rude."
"Hey, I didn't say shit." You grumble. "You know damn well your family has a tall gene."
"I might kill you."
"That'd align perfectly with my interests." You blow a raspberry at him through the glass.
"Regardless, I told her she's getting no grandchildren. Told her I'm sterile."
You cough, laugh stuck in your chest as you gasp for air, wheezing in the process.
"You alright, pretty bird?"
"I just lost it, sorry." You cough, trying to get the words out. "You are NOT sterile."
"That vasectomy says otherwise."
"That makes you infertile!"
"Yeah, but if I tell her I'm infertile, she might tell me that we could always do IVF."
"Evil..." You mumble.
"I know." Tim grumbles. "Well, regardless," he turns the water off, "might as well spend money on the things that matter?"
"Which is?"
"My wife's retail therapy." Tim grins, robe wrapped around his body as he opens his arms for you. "Hm?"
"I don't know, birdie." You pretend to think. "Sounds like a lot of money you're spending there."
"Well, it's all worth it. Happy wife, happy life. happy spouse, happy house." He hums. "As long as you're smiling, then it made all of that nonsensical pining I went through when I first met you in person worth it."
"Yeah?"
"Positive." He grins.
"You've become real sappy, you know?"
"And you don't like it?"
"Mm..." You pinch his cheek as he reaches over you to shut the lights. "No. I do."
"I know you do." He pinches your cheek back. "It's why you married me."
"Maybe I married you for your bank account."
Tim pretends to gasp in offense, jaw dropped. "You couldn't have."
You go quiet, Tim reaching over to pinch your cheek again as you bite his fingers.
"Hey!"
You stick your tongue out at him with a 'blegh' and he huffs.
"Nighty night, pretty bird."
"Love you too, birdie."

Cozy Day
Louis Tomlinson imagine
Warnings: fluff, making -out
2.8k
Tumblr media
The morning light filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the bedroom. Y/N blinked her eyes open, still curled up against Louis, who was sound asleep, his breathing soft and steady. His arm was draped loosely around her waist, his face nestled close to hers, and a little smile played on her lips as she took in the quiet serenity of the moment.
Carefully, she slipped out of his embrace, careful not to disturb him, and tucked the blanket around him to keep him warm. She tiptoed out of the room, pulling on one of his old, oversized shirts that hung down to her knees, the fabric warm and familiar. Heading to the kitchen, she decided that breakfast should be a little extra special this morning. She set about making tea, putting the kettle on and gathering eggs and bacon from the fridge.
The sizzle of bacon filled the air, and she cracked a couple of eggs into the pan, watching the whites bubble and turn opaque. She was just pouring tea into two mugs when she felt familiar arms wrap around her from behind. Louis buried his face into the crook of her neck, his hair still a bit messy from sleep.
“Smells good,” he murmured, his voice rough from just waking up.
She leaned back into his embrace, smiling. “Good morning, sleepyhead. I thought I’d surprise you with breakfast.”
Louis took a sip of his tea, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. "Alright, I’ve gotta know... what made you decide to cook this morning? Not that I’m complaining," he teased, nudging her foot gently under the table.
“Well, consider me very pleasantly surprised,” he said, tightening his arms around her and giving her a gentle squeeze before letting go. They moved to the table together, setting down plates of eggs and bacon, and the warm mugs of tea.
Y/N shrugged, grinning. "Maybe I just like watching you eat," she teased back. "But seriously, I just wanted to do something nice for you. I know you’ve had a busy week."
He nodded, running a hand through his hair. "You’re right about that. Feels like I haven’t slowed down in ages. But this…" He looked around the cozy kitchen and then back at her. "This is exactly what I needed."
She smiled, leaning her chin on her hand. "Good. Then it’s working."
There was a pause before Louis spoke again, a playful gleam in his eye. "So, tell me, if you could do anything today—anything at all—what would it be?"
"Hmm," Y/N mused, tapping her fork on her plate. "Honestly? Maybe just staying right here, doing absolutely nothing. Maybe a little reading, maybe a movie marathon... what about you?"
Louis grinned. "That sounds perfect. But, if I’m being honest, as long as I’m with you, I’m happy to do absolutely nothing."
With their plates cleared and mugs empty, Y/N stretched her arms above her head and looked at Louis with a soft smile.
She laughed, rolling her eyes. "Smooth, Tomlinson. But I’ll take it."
"Alright, lazy day partner," she said, playfully nudging his shoulder, "what’s the plan? You promised me a movie marathon."
Louis smirked, leaning back in his chair. "You’re on. But, first things first—we need blankets, and plenty of ‘em. And pillows. And snacks. Basically, all the essentials."
She laughed, watching him already plotting out the perfect setup. "I’ll get the blankets and pillows; you handle the snacks?"
He gave a mock salute. "Consider it done."
They both got up, setting to work with a sense of excitement, as if turning the living room into the coziest fort possible was a mission. Y/N grabbed every blanket she could find, draping them over the couch and piling up a mountain of pillows in the corner. Meanwhile, Louis raided the kitchen, gathering popcorn, chocolate, and a few bags of crisps.
A few minutes later, they were both snuggled up on the couch, wrapped in blankets, the room dim and comfortable. Louis handed her the remote with a grin. "Alright, what’ll it be? Rom-com, thriller, or… are you in the mood for something scary?"
Y/N grinned, leaning into his shoulder. "I’ll let you pick. But no complaints if I end up hiding behind you if it’s scary."
Louis chuckled, scrolling through the options. "Alright, let’s start with something funny and work our way up to the scary stuff. Sound fair?"
As the credits rolled on their third movie, Y/N turned to Louis with a soft smile, her head still resting on his shoulder. He looked down at her, his eyes warm and a little playful, a quiet intensity lingering between them. Without another word, he leaned in, brushing his lips against hers, slow and gentle at first, testing the waters. She met him halfway, fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt as the kiss deepened, both of them sinking further into the moment.
She nodded, settling deeper into the blankets as the opening credits rolled. They exchanged little jokes and commentary, laughing and getting lost in the movie. Occasionally, one of them would reach for the popcorn, their hands brushing in the bowl, each touch bringing little smiles and laughs.
Before long, his hands found their way to her waist, pulling her closer, and she felt his fingers tangle in her hair. Their laughter had faded into quiet sighs, the warmth between them building as he trailed kisses along her jaw, and she couldn’t help but pull him closer. Her hands moved to his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath her palms. But just as her own heart began to race, she let out a soft laugh and leaned back slightly.
“Louis… I think I need a little fresh air,” she whispered, her cheeks warm, her eyes shining.
Louis blinked, surprised, but then his lips turned up into a grin. “Yeah? You mean, outside? In the real world?” He chuckled, pulling her closer for one last kiss on her forehead before standing up and offering her his hand. “Alright, let’s go.”
They slipped into jackets and scarves, bundling up against the slight chill as they stepped outside. Y/N reached for his hand, but Louis pulled her close, wrapping an arm around her waist as they started down the quiet path near his place. They walked side by side, the only sounds being the soft crunch of leaves beneath their feet and the occasional brush of his fingers against her cheek as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
It seemed like he couldn’t stop touching her—his fingers brushing her hand, his thumb tracing light circles on her lower back as they walked, and once, with a smirk, his hand rested just briefly on her lower back before he gave her hip a little squeeze. She laughed, nudging him playfully.
“What?” he asked innocently, though his hand lingered just a bit longer on her waist, pulling her closer as they continued along the path. “Can’t help it. You’re kind of irresistible, you know.”
Y/N shook her head, laughing softly. “Right back at you, Mr. Charming.”
They continued to stroll, lost in the quiet simplicity of just being together, his fingers twining with hers, or slipping around her shoulders, as if he couldn’t bear to let her go.
After their refreshing walk, Y/N and Louis returned home. The cozy atmosphere of the house wrapped around them, and Y/N was struck by a sudden idea.
"Hey! Let’s build a puzzle!" she suggested, her eyes lighting up with excitement. “I found this one hidden in the closet, and I think it’s really beautiful .”
Louis raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "A puzzle? You mean, like… putting a bunch of pieces together? Sounds riveting," he said with mock enthusiasm, though he couldn’t help but chuckle.
"Come on! It'll be fun! A cozy puzzle session!" she insisted, playfully nudging him.
"Alright, alright," he relented, his laughter infectious as they set the puzzle up on the coffee table. Y/N excitedly sorted through the pieces, separating edges from the middle pieces, while Louis leaned back on the couch, watching her with an amused expression.
But just a few minutes in, as Y/N was diligently working on the puzzle, she glanced over at Louis, who was now sprawled comfortably on the couch, scrolling through his phone.
“Hey, you’re supposed to help!” she said, half-laughing, half-exasperated.
Louis shrugged with a smirk. “I’m just… letting you do your thing. I mean, it’s not like I have the patience for this.” He held up his phone, showing her a funny meme he’d just found. “Look at this one! It’s hilarious!”
Y/N rolled her eyes, but a smile tugged at her lips. “You know, you could at least pretend to be interested for a few minutes longer!”
“Alright, alright, I’ll give it a shot,” he said, picking up a few pieces and dramatically trying to fit them together. But after a couple of attempts, he sighed dramatically. “This is too hard. I don’t get how these pieces connect.” With a chuckle, he tossed the pieces back onto the table, surrendering. “You win. I’m tapping out.”
With that, he leaned back, shifting his focus back to his phone, chuckling at something he saw on social media. Y/N shook her head, giggling to herself as she dove back into the puzzle.
“Hey! Check this out!” he called, turning the phone around to show her a video of a dog doing a silly trick.
Y/N laughed but quickly returned her focus to the puzzle, enjoying the quiet determination it took to complete it. She found herself completely lost in the challenge, humming softly to herself while Louis occasionally chimed in with commentary, but he mostly he was absorbed in his phone.
"How about you just go ahead and finish it? You’re doing great!" Louis called out lazily, clearly having settled into his own kind of cozy evening as he flipped through his feed.
“Thanks for the support!” Y/N shot back playfully, her concentration unwavering. She felt a warm sense of satisfaction wash over her as the puzzle began to take shape, piece by piece, even if she was building it all alone.
As the last piece slid perfectly into place, Y/N sat back and admired her work, a grin spreading across her face. The colorful landscape unfolded before her. It was a serene view of a sunset over a peaceful meadow, and she felt a sense of accomplishment wash over her.
“Ta-da! Finished!” she called out, turning to Louis, who was still comfortably reclined on the couch, phone in hand.
He glanced up, pretending to be impressed as he raised an eyebrow. “Wow, you actually did it! Impressive.” His tone was playful, but he genuinely seemed to appreciate her effort. “Now that’s something to celebrate. What’s the prize for finishing the puzzle?”
Y/N chuckled, standing up and stretching her arms overhead. “The prize is that you get to help me take it apart and put it back in the box.”
“Ugh, no way!” he protested dramatically, dropping his phone onto his lap. “You can’t be serious. I just watched you put that together for hours. I’m not taking it apart!”
She laughed, walking over to him, hands on her hips. “Come on! It’s just a puzzle. Plus, I thought we were a team!”
“Maybe a team in theory, but I’m not that dedicated,” he said with a smirk, leaning forward to grab a piece from the completed puzzle. “Besides, look how pretty it is! Why would we want to break it apart?”
Y/N rolled her eyes, playfully snatching the piece from his fingers. “Because it goes back in the box, silly! That’s what puzzles do.”
He feigned a dramatic sigh. “Fine, but can we at least take a picture first? I need proof of your hard work.”
“Of course! ” she said, excitedly positioning the puzzle in the best light. Louis stood up, quickly snapping a few photos of her beaming face next to the completed puzzle, and then a few close-ups of the vibrant colors.
After he was satisfied, Louis set his phone down and stepped closer to her, a mischievous glint in his eye. “Okay, now that we’ve documented your moment of glory, how about a celebratory dance?”
Y/N laughed, her heart racing at the thought. “A dance? Here? Now?”
“Why not? You’ve just conquered a puzzle! You deserve to celebrate!” he exclaimed, pulling her gently into an embrace, his hands resting at her waist.
With a laugh, she melted into him, the playful energy between them igniting once more. Louis began to sway them slowly, humming an upbeat tune. Y/N joined in, laughing as he twirled her around, their playful banter filling the room.
As they danced, Y/N felt the warmth of his touch, his hands gliding from her waist to the small of her back, pulling her closer. It felt natural and exciting all at once. She caught Louis's gaze, and the moment seemed to hang in the air, charged with an unspoken connection.
Just then, he dipped her slightly, and she squealed with laughter. “Okay, okay! I think I’ve had enough dancing for one night!” she gasped, trying to regain her balance.
Louis straightened her up with a grin, the laughter in his eyes mirroring her own. “Alright, let’s call it a night on the puzzle and the dancing. But we still have time for something else, don’t you think?”
Y/N smiled up at him, her heart fluttering. “What did you have in mind?”
“How about a cozy movie night part two? We can pick something really ridiculous this time,” he suggested, winking.
“Now that sounds perfect,” she agreed, feeling a warmth spread through her. The evening was still young, and they had plenty of time left to enjoy each other’s company.
With the promise of a ridiculous movie, Y/N and Louis settled back onto the couch, pulling the warm blankets around them. As the opening credits rolled, Louis wrapped his arms around her, pulling her snugly against his chest. The soft glow of the television lit up their faces, and Y/N felt a sense of contentment wash over her.
Louis leaned down, brushing his lips against her temple, whispering, “Ready for some cinematic genius?”
Y/N giggled, rolling her eyes playfully. “Absolutely! I can't wait to see what kind of chaos unfolds.”
The movie began, but it didn’t take long before their attention drifted away from the screen. Every few minutes, Louis would lean down to press a kiss against her lips, playful and teasing, pulling her into the warmth of his embrace. Y/N found herself losing track of the plot, completely wrapped up in the warmth of Louis and the softness of his lips against hers.
“Are you even watching the movie?” he teased, chuckling as he pulled back to glance at her.
“Not really,” she admitted with a laugh, her cheeks flushed. “But can you blame me?”
“Not at all,” he replied, grinning, and he captured her lips again, this time more fervently. The kisses became more passionate, more desperate, as the movie played on, their laughter and quiet murmurs filling the room.
Each kiss felt like an electric spark, igniting warmth between them. Louis’s fingers trailed through her hair, tangling softly as he leaned closer, deepening the kisses. Y/N’s hands found their way to his shoulders, then wrapped around his neck, pulling him in even closer, completely lost in the moment.
Eventually, the world around them faded away, and they were only aware of each other—the softness of his hands against her skin, the warmth of his body, and the way his lips moved against hers. The movie faded into a background noise, only punctuated by their quiet giggles and whispers.
But as the film droned on, Y/N felt herself starting to grow drowsy. The warmth of the couch, combined with the comfort of Louis's arms around her, lulled her into a sense of safety. She snuggled closer to him, burying her face in the crook of his neck as her eyelids grew heavy.
Louis noticed the shift, gently running his fingers up and down her arm, his voice soft and soothing. “You okay?” he asked, looking down at her with a mix of concern and affection.
“Just a little tired,” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Go ahead, darling. sleep if you want,” he replied, his tone gentle as he placed a soft kiss on the top of her head. “I’ll be right here.”
Y/N smiled, feeling utterly at peace as she nestled closer, her breathing slowing as sleep began to take over. Before long, she drifted off completely, her body relaxing against Louis, the warmth of his presence wrapping around her like a blanket.
Louis watched her for a moment, his heart swelling with affection as he continued to stroke her hair. He pressed another kiss to her forehead, feeling a deep sense of contentment wash over him. Soon, the steady rhythm of her breathing lulled him to sleep as well, the movie playing on in the background as they drifted off together, wrapped in each other’s warmth.

you and abby often spent saturday mornings in bed, cuddling. you woke up before her that morning, and decided to make her breakfast. it had been a while since you surprised her with something.
you turned on the radio, made yourself something to drink before opening the fridge and getting the butter and an egg out, gathering all the needed ingredients for you to bake cookies. you preheated the oven before starting to put the ingredients in the bowl. first, the butter, then the sugar, the egg— a touch of vanilla, because why not?
you continued to mix the ingredients into the bowl, humming to the various songs that played. you were about to grab the chocolate chips from the counter when abby took them, handing them to you. you looked up at her, a soft smile on her lips. her hair was down, falling on freckled shoulders. you took the small bag from her hands. she leaned down to kiss your cheek, quickly moving behind you to hug you. "good morning, baby", she whispered in your neck.
"you're awake early today, mmh?" you smiled as you felt her lips on your nape. "mhm. wanted to bring you breakfast in bed, but guess not."
abby rested her head on your shoulder, opening her mouth for you to put a chocolate chip in. you ate one yourself before picking one and bringing it to her lips. "thank you, angel." she kissed your cheek.
you got away from abby's embrace, making her pout. she helped you make small balls of cookie dough, placing them on the parchment paper. you were making your own cookie ball when you caught abby eating some of the cookie dough. "abigail." she looked at you, eyes wide, fingers in her mouth. "what? s'not my fault it's so good." you chuckled and shook your head. she took some dough on her fingers from the bowl. "open."
you sucked on her index, looking into her eyes. "mhm." she grinned. "mhm? see? it's good." you nodded. she kissed your forehead. "it'll be even better when cooked."
you put the tray in the oven, closing it. abby wiped her hands before pulling you towards her, her arms around your waist. you wrapped your arms around her neck, looking at her. you two started moving around the kitchen to the rhythm of the love song playing on the radio. abby took one of your hands in hers, her other hand resting on your lower back. you two smiled at each other, lost in each other's eyes.
you leaned in, softly kissing abby's lips. she returned the kiss, holding you closer to her. she kissed your neck, biting a little. "abs, stop." you chuckled, feeling her tongue on your skin. "what? not doin' anything."
she traced her lips up your jaw until your lips; she kissed you passionately this time. one of her hands went under your t-shirt while the other got dangerously close to your butt. you cupped her face, smiling against her lips when you heard her moan a little into the kiss. at this point, you two weren't dancing anymore; you were just making out in your kitchen, standing, pressed against each other.
a smell caught your attention — "oh, fuck!" you let out, pulling away from your girlfriend, walking to the oven. you had forgotten to set a timer. you quickly turned off the oven, opening its door. the smell of burnt cookies filled the room. "no..." you put on a glove and took the tray out of the oven, putting it on the counter for abby to see.
all the cookie dough balls you had made were now just black little pieces. abby looked at you. "i'm sorry, baby. sorry", she said, kissed your head, wrapping her arms around you. "i wanted to make you breakfast and it backfired. i'm so sorry, abs."
abby smiled softly before picking up a small piece of what was supposed to be a cookie. you barely had time to speak before she ate it. "abby, no. come on, it's disgusting." she shook her head. "no, it's not." she grimaced a little as she swallowed. "okay, yes. it is. but it's not your fault, angel."
"how about this: we get dressed and go have breakfast downtown? and we'll make cookies this afternoon? i'll make sure not to distract you and be focused", she proposed. "sounds good."
you gave her a small peck on the lips. "alright. i'm gonna go shower, wanna come?" she smirked.

the touch of a hand lit the fuse
So, turns out y'all lapped up my dbf!Joel and now I'm kinda speechless? Like, tysm for loving this enough to like semi-blow it up. But never fear, our favourite neighbourhood DILF is back and filthier than ever today. I wrote this under the influence of a rather strong margarita, so forgive any mistake and the uninhibited filth you're about to consume. Enjoy.

Summary | Four days on from being spread on Joel's lap, he's back to fix up your attic when you're home alone.
Word Count | 3.6k
Warnings | I mean, blanket warning for dbf!Joel because he's always a menace. Alcohol consumption, NO USE OF Y/N, masterbating (F), unprotected PiV sex (Don't be dumb, wrap it up), age gap (Reader is 25, Joel is 36), size kink, some dirty talk and that's it.
Part 1 | Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
It was Wednesday and you were still reeling from what had happened at the party on Saturday. Whenever you led in bed there was the feeling of Joel’s fingers ghosting over you. You were ashamed of the number of times you’d touched yourself, trying to emulate how Joel’s fingers had felt inside of you, failing miserably, but still getting yourself off with tight circles on your clit, moaning his name into your pillow as you made yourself come. It was a dreadful substitute, but you didn’t have much choice – Joel had been MIA since he'd left on Saturday night.
You were sat at the table in the kitchen with your parents, sipping on orange juice and pushing eggs around your plate before they both went to work, “Oh, I forgot to mention, Joel’s coming over this morning to take a look at starting that work in the attic, you’ll be around to let him in, won’t you?”
You tried to keep as nonchalant as possible at your dad’s voice, “Yeah, I’ll be here.”
A house to yourself with Joel Miller, of course you’d be here, there was no-where else you’d rather be. Once your parents had eaten and stacked their dishes for you to wash up in your free time later, you raced upstairs to your room, dragging out the tightest pair of shorts you owned and a low-cut tank top. You’d never been the type to play into this sort of thing – if someone wanted you, then they could want you in your baggy jeans and jumpers, but Joel was different, and you knew it. You’d seen it the last time, how he fought to the last second not to give into you and his desires, you didn’t want to give him a reason to do it again.
You made quick work of hopping in the shower before pulling your clothes on, choosing a coloured bra to sit under your white tank top, but deciding against underwear beneath your shorts. Then you sat on couch and waited, anticipation rising with every minute there wasn’t a knock on the door. It took him another hour to arrive – the knock at the door dragging a gasp of surprise from your lips.
You practically ran to the front door, stopping only to run a hand through your hair and take a deep breath before you opened it. It never mattered where or when you saw him, he was always fucking gorgeous. Like now, stood in front of you, toolbox in hand, dark t-shirt and jeans clinging to him, hair mused and a smirk on his lips.
“Sorry I’m late sugar,” He breathes, “Had to cover a job first thing for Tommy.”
“That’s alright,” You smile, leaning against the door so he can walk past, “You want a drink of anything?”
You were slightly put out that he hadn’t immediately bent his head and planted a kiss to your lips, but you weren’t going to be a brat about it. At least not yet.
“Water’ll be just fine thanks,” He says over his shoulder as he’s moving towards the stairs, “I’m just gonna get started, don’t let me interrupt you.”
You’re not interrupting anything is what you want to say, but he’s already taking the stairs two at a time, as if he’s in a rush to get away from you. It hurts, but you try and swallow your pride for now. He wasn’t going to get away with it that easily.
You fill up a glass of water from the fridge with some ice, it’s hot after all, before you head upstairs. He’s already got the ladder from the attic down and is searching through his toolbox for what he needs, setting each different tool on his utility belt when he finds it.
“You want me to pass this up to you once you’ve tackled the ladder, Miller?” You ask.
He turns to you with his hand on one of the ladder rungs, “I’d be much obliged, sweetheart.”
You swear that he takes each step of the ladder excruciatingly slow just for your benefit, but you aren’t going to complain – it affords you a glorious view of his ass, fitting tightly into his jeans – had he done that to you on purpose, just like you did for him? You watch intently as he turns and kneels and sticks his hand down for the glass of water. You pass it to him, and he does exactly what he did with his bottle of beer on the weekend, grabs it exactly where your hand is so his fingers brush against yours. Lighting a fuse right through your body. If you could spontaneously catch fire you think this would have done it.
“I’ll be downstairs if you need me, just shout.”
You flop yourself down on the couch, huffing out an annoyed breath as you reach for the magazine you’d been trying to read before he arrived. Thinking it would be easier to concentrate on now Joel was working away upstairs, you’re sorely mistaken. Your eyes glaze over the same two sentences – it’s an advice column, some housewife wanting to know how she could make her husband want her again after months of living in a dead bedroom. You don’t pretend to care, you look down to the bottom of the column – Andrea, 48. What you really want the editor to say in response is that Andrea should cut her losses, find someone younger, fitter and more handsome and sack off her obviously boring husband. What they really say is that she can spice things up by wearing sexy lingerie and being spontaneous, maybe you can try taking sex out of the bedroom for things to feel newer and more exciting.
They’d got that much right. Your brain is drifting back to Saturday night, sat on Joel’s lap with his thick fingers moving in and out of your pussy. That had been new and exciting. Maybe Andrea should try that with her own husband.
You sigh and throw the magazine to the ground – nothing is going to stop the bubbling lust and frustration in your stomach. Nothing except for what you really want, and that Joel, peeling your clothes off and seating himself so deep inside you that you can’t think properly. You can hear him banging around in the attic, unsure of what he’s actually doing.
Before you know what you’re doing, one of your hands is making quick work of undoing the button on your shorts, moving them just enough so you can slip your hand below the material. Your ears focus on sound of Joel’s footsteps in the distance. You bet there’s a thin film of sweat on his skin up there, you think as your fingers dip to the entrance of your pussy, finding yourself just as wet as you were on the weekend. Maybe he’s taken his shirt off, you think as the slick you’d gathered on your fingers make sliding them over your clit easier. The mental vision of the muscles in his back rippling as he bends to work and the way his arms would tense make bringing yourself to the edge of oblivion a piece of cake, but it’s the final vision you have of him pushing you against the dank attic wall and pounding into you that has you coming. You bite down on your hand to stop yourself from making noise, convulsing on the couch with the aftershocks of your orgasm.
There was a slight feeling of embarrassment that sat through your stomach for a moment when you’d realized you’d gotten yourself whilst Joel was unaware upstairs. You quickly buttoned up your shorts and placed an arm over your eyes whilst you tried to catch your breath and before you could stop yourself you were drifting off to sleep.
You woke with a start God knows how long later, the sound of something hitting the ground drawing you from your dreamless nap. You sat up and rubbed at your eyes and saw Joel setting his toolbox by the front door.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to fall asleep.” You mumble, pushing yourself off the couch.
“S’alright,” He smiles at you, “S’your house.”
“You get everything done?” You ask.
He shakes his head, “Gonna be a big job up there, don’t have the stuff to finish it all today.”
You nod like you understand, “Anything else on today?”
He smirks at you like he knows what you’re thinking, “Nope,” is all he says, “You?”
You match his smirk, “Nope, convenient huh?” He nods, “You want a drink?”
You look at the clock on the wall, it’s nearing 2pm, “Beer?”
“Yes ma’am.”
You try and push down the arousal that pooled in your stomach at that. It hadn’t been two hours since you’d gotten yourself off but God there was just something about this man that made your blood run hot and turned you into something akin to a dog in heat. He follows behind you as you go to the kitchen, gratefully accepting the ice-cold beer that you’d popped the cap off.
You stand at opposite sides of the kitchen – Joel leant up against the counter near the sink, you doing similar against the breakfast island. It’s silent as you both eye one another up, taking languid sips of beer as you do so. You could cut the tension in here with a fucking knife. You made the first move last time, it’s his turn to do it.
“Y’know you don’t have to wear that kinda stuff for me, don’t ya?” His eyebrow is cocked, and you know he’s talking about the shorts that barely cover your ass and the blue bra he can clearly see through your top.
“Shall I take them off then?”
He’s leant against the kitchen counter, looking as casual as can be, but you don’t miss the way his eyes darken, glazed with lust. He takes another drink of his beer before setting the bottle down, crossing his arms over his chest, eyebrow raised.
“You wanna see me naked, Joel Miller?”
“You want me to see you naked?” He counters.
“You’re in charge baby, you need to tell me what you want.” You dare.
He sucks his bottom lip into his mouth as he’s thinking before he’s unraveling his arms from his chest, “Well, in that case, come over here and kiss me.”
Your feet are moving before he’s even finished speaking, closing the gap between you. You wrap your arms around his neck, pushing yourself up on your tiptoes as his own arms wrap around your waist as his dips his head and wastes no time connecting your lips together. As soon as they do you can feel the tension dripping from your body, pooling on the floor as if it never existed.
Joel’s got you pulled flush to his body, warmth radiating through the material covering your bodies as his mouth opens and he’s swiping his tongue across your bottom lip before he takes it between his teeth and bites down slightly. He slips his tongue into your mouth when you gasp at the slight bite of pain from his teeth, which is quickly forgotten when you can taste him on your mouth. The slight yeast from the beer, something minty, suggesting he’d been chewing gum whilst working and the inevitable flavour that’s just pure Joel that you cannot place.
His hands are slipping down from your waist to cup your ass – hands on bare skin where the globes of your ass meet the back on your thighs, dragging you further into him. You can feel his own arousal prodding between you which has a moan tumbling from your lips, swallowed by Joel’s own mouth as he continues to lick into your mouth.
His hands are sliding around to the front of your shorts, deftly undoing the button, not unlike how you’d done it just a few hours before. His hand is snaking down into the material and then he’s pulling away from your lips, a groan of frustration leaving your mouth as he does so.
“What’s this?” He asks, brushing his fingers along the seam of your pussy, “Didn’t wanna bother with lace today?”
“Saving time.” You mumble, a sigh leaving your lips as his fingers move lower.
“Fuckin’ hell sweetheart, are you always this wet?” He groans when one of his finger’s dips slightly between your folds.
“Only for you,” Another sigh, “I… fuck, Joel…” You’re trying to get your words out but the way he’s brushing your slick up the seam of your pussy but neglecting your clit means it’s hard to concentrate, “I touched myself, thinking of you.”
He stops dead in his tracks, pulling his face away from you, “When?” He demands.
You turn your head to look at the clock behind you, “Probably two hours ago now.”
He growls, gripping you tightly to his body, “You filthy girl,” You can do nothing but grin, “You touched your pussy whilst I was upstairs?”
You nod, moving so you can press a kiss to his neck, “Show me.” He asks.
There’s confusion on your face when you pull back, “You don’t need me, obviously, so show me how you touched yourself whilst I was slaving away upstairs.”
He pushes you away from his body gently, and you’re going to turn around to walk somewhere to lie down and give him a show, but he’s stopping you, “Do it here,” He’s motioning his hand for you to stay in the kitchen, “Come on sweetheart, don’t keep me waitin’.”
You take your place leant back against the kitchen counter, running your hand down your body before it dips into your shorts. Joel’s eyes are staring holes into your skin as your fingers dip to your seeping hole, you let your eyes flutter closed as you gather your slick on your fingers, bringing it up to circle your clit. This time when you want to moan, you don’t bite down on anything, moaning Joel’s name as loud as you please.
When you open your eyes, fingers not letting up on pleasuring yourself, you can see him in a similar position to yours, palming himself through his jeans at the show you’re putting on, “Does it feel good, sweetheart?” He coos from across the kitchen, “Bet I’d make you feel even better, right?”
“Oh god, Joel, please-” You gasp as you speed up the circles on your clit, “I want you to touch me.”
He chuckles as he steps forward to meet you, trapping you against the kitchen island with an arm on either side of you. He’s pressing kisses behind your ear but is making no attempt to touch you past that. Fingers still firmly pressing against your clit, you grind your hips forward into his own, “Oh baby,” He whispers, “D’ya need some help?” You nod, “What d’ya want from me?”
“Fingers-” You gasp out, “Put your fingers inside me.”
He kisses your neck, using his hands to push your shorts from your legs, letting them drop to the floor, before he’s kicking at one of your ankles to push your legs further apart. Then, he’s sinking one of his deliciously thick fingers right into your seeping cunt, causing you to cry out.
“It’s alright babygirl,” He chuckles against your skin, “Makin’ you feel good, right?”
He’s pulling his finger back out of your pussy before adding another one when he pushes them back in, “Can feel how tight you are, already, you gonna come for me?”
“Fuck-” You exclaim when he’s curling his fingers up inside you whilst his mouth drags hot trails across your collarbone, “Don’t stop, please-” You beg, “So fucking close Joel.”
“Good girl, show me how good I make you feel.”
With the incessant rubbing you’re doing over your clit and the curve of Joel’s fingers inside you, you come undone. His name is almost shouted from your lips and you can feel his free hand on your waist, keeping you upright. On Saturday he’d worked you through the aftershocks, but not today, he’s pulling his fingers from your pussy, shoving them into your mouth and watching as you lick yourself off him. Then his tongue is back in your mouth and he's grinding his bulge against you whilst he laps up the taste of you on your mouth.
“Fuck, you taste so good babygirl,” He’s whispering once he’s pulled away, “One day I’m gonna spread you out and spend hours with my head between your thighs.”
Heat flushes through your body – you want to respond but you don’t have time. He’s turning you around and with a hand placed gently on the nape of your neck, he’s pushing you forward so your body is spread over the kitchen island. You can hear him unbuckling his belt behind you and you can’t quite believe this is about to happen.
When you hear the material of his jeans hit the floor you swear you can feel yourself drip down the inside of your thigh, you’re that turned on.
“I’m gonna fuck you sweetheart,” His body is towering behind yours as his hands take your hips and pull you back, “That okay?”
You nod and moan out a ‘yes please’ as he’s lining himself up behind you. You can feel the head of his cock sliding between your folds before Joel is sinking into you from behind. He’s slow because he knows it’s a tight fit, despite all your preparation the feeling of him stretching you is bordering on uncomfortable, but you just can’t get enough. He stills himself when he’s buried inside you to the hilt. You can hear his gasps and his heavy breathing behind you as he tries to calm himself down.
“Fuckin’ Christ baby, you’re fuckin’ tight around my cock.”
“Feel so full Joel,” You moan back at him, hands gripping at the kitchen island as he pulls back and thrusts himself back into you, “You’re so fucking big.”
You can hear him chuckle as his hands grip tighter at your hips, you’re convinced you’re going to have finger shaped bruises there, “That’s right babygirl,” He pulls out once more and thrusts back into your tight heat with more force than before that has you crying out, “Look at you,” He praises, “All spread out in your daddy’s kitchen gettin’ fucked by his best friend.”
It's filth but by God it’s doing the job, the way his voice is deeper, and his words are peppered with groans and gasps as he starts fucking you in earnest. You can feel your pussy clenching around him with each thrust, any feeling of discomfort long gone, replaced just with an intense feeling of fullness peppered with ecstasy.
You feel a hand come back to the nape of your neck, travelling higher until it’s tangled in your hair, yanking you backwards so your back is arched. You can feel Joel’s hips snapping into your ass, the new arch of your back has his cock hitting a spot inside you that has spots blurring your vision.
All you can do is chant his name and let moans drop from your lips as his pace picks up again. He’s turned your brain to mush, not that you’re complaining. If you could keep the both of you here forever, locked in this state of secret pleasure then you would.
“Sweetheart,” He chokes out behind you, hand still wrapped in your hair, “I’m gonna cum.”
“Yes Joel, please-” You cry out, “Please give it to me.”
“So fuckin’ pretty sweetheart,” He groans behind you, “Beggin’ me for my cum like a good girl.”
When he pulls himself fully from your pussy you almost cry in frustration until you feel the warmth of his cum spreading over the cheeks of your ass. You can hear him moaning your name, one hand still firmly gripping your hip, the other, you assume, fisting his cock. When you’re sure he’s finished you let your forehead drop to the cool countertop whilst you catch your breath.
You’re vaguely aware of Joel pulling his jeans back on and the sound of the tap running behind you. The feeling of a warm cloth spreading across your ass as he cleans his spend off you. It’s almost robotic as he gathers you and turns you round, bending down to shimmy your shorts back up and over your hips. He even does the button up for you.
“You okay?” He asks, pressing a kiss to the tip of your nose.
You smile, exhaustion settling into your bones as he holds you, “Never better.”
“Hope I wasn’t too rough sweetheart.”
“I don’t mind,” You smirk, reaching up to press a kiss to his lips, “Want you to make me sore so whenever I move I remember this.”
“You can’t be real babygirl,” He’s chuckling, “You keep sayin’ things like that and I’ll never leave.”
You’re pulled from your post-coital bliss by the sound of a car door slamming out front. Your eyes widen and so do Joel’s. You quickly glance at the clock and realise he’s had you bent over the kitchen counter for far longer than you’d anticipated.
“Fuckin’ hell,” He’s mumbling, making sure he kisses your lips firmly, “I gotta get outta here, but I’ll see you soon, okay?”
“Okay.” You nod with a smile, you fucking hope so.
He leaves with a squeeze of your hand, jogging to the door to grab his toolbox. You hear the door open and then he’s greeting your mother with a ‘Hello ma’am, good day?’ – you can just about hear your mother recounting her day to him and then asking him how the work in the attic went.
“Went fine, still a fair bit to do so just let me know when y’all are going to be out again in the week and I’ll come back to finish up.”
“Well, you know we work all week and I’m sure that one in there won’t mind a little banging about from you.”
Oh if only you knew mom, if only you knew.

stupidly tight tank top, stupidly short shorts (an offensive piece of fabric, really), a stupidly cute smile and a stupidly adorable “g’morning guys!”
oh, fuck you.
she chokes.
“ayo, you good?” your brother chuckles, and pats her lightly on the back.
“yeah, m’fine man” she huffs, and when you turn around to open the fridge, oh great— your ass is poking through, and suddenly she lost her appetite and all she really wants to do is take a fucking ice shower.
you turn to face them, and as your brother steals a raspberry from her plate, you roll your eyes. “you guys can say good morning back, so fucking rude sometimes”
“morning…” he lazily hums, throwing the raspberry directly in his mouth.
you look at ellie, where’s your very deserved good freaking morning?
oh, she wasn’t paying attention, her eyes glued to the wall behind you. if she looks— oh hell no.
she shifts her eyes towards your form, and apparently— your tits greet her before your eyes do. she quickly looks up at your soft expression, and she feels like a goddamn 13 year old ellie again. a crimson blush creeps up on her cheeks, and… is it hot in here? she feels hot. like she’s burning up, like she just swallowed a rock.
“ellie?” you tilt your head to the side, waiting for that damn greeting.
“huh?”
“good morning?”
“yeah”
she takes the glass of water in her hand and she chugs it. when you slightly lift your hands up— to sip on your coffee, your shirt rides up and she notices that a tiny fragment of your thong pokes through from the sides of your pajama shorts. she nearly goddamn choked again. truly, from the bottom of her heart, fuck you.
“soccer outside?” your brother asks, oh so blissfully unaware of whatever the hell is going on.
“yeah, give me a minute… gotta finish it up”
he raises a curious brow, “but you ate all of it”
“yeah well, gotta dip the bread so,” she stammers. you roll your eyes and she sees. roll them one more time and she’ll—
“k, i’m outside”
he walks away, budging your shoulder. “ow!”
“eat shit”
“asshole”
ellie’s not speaking, like— at all. she’s barely breathing if she’s being honest. she should be bothering you by now, complaining about how gross you are for drinking that coffee, in her words; shit-water, telling you that you have a tiny spot on your nose that you have to wipe off and then bump your palm into it or some other stupid stunt. except, she doesn’t.
why is she still here? why doesn’t she just go?
it’s awfully silent and her breath hitches down her throat when you lean on the counter with your elbows, and she swears she just almost got a peak. she averts her look again, and clenches her jaw.
“how do you tolerate him?” you question. again, no comment. is she sick? coming down with the summer flu or something?
“or…” you’re pushing it, you know you are.
“how does he tolerate you?” you smile like you just won an NBA trophy. she plays with her fork and stares you down.
“actually how do both of you tolerate each other? this has to be like… a harvard experiment or something”
its her turn to smirk now, and tilt her head to the side. you shudder, for some reason. she still doesn’t respond.
“are you sick?” she must be, where’s the snarky comment?
the only sound that fills the room is the sound of the refrigerator running and the fork that she uses to trace small lines on the ceramic plate with.
she gets up, still not breaking eye contact. your nipples poke through the shirt, and it’s killing her. come up with something, quick.
“are you cold?” she huffs, raspy and deep.
“what?” you respond quietly, small.
“just askin’ because…”
she points at your nipples, moving her finger side to side.
“because it looks like you’re cold”
your whole body stiffens up and it feels like you’re gonna die. worse. it feels like you’re burning up in front of her. you’re standing there, like a mummy.
she walks off, chuckles under her breath, and then she turns around. she doesn’t say anything, but oh god did she want to.
oh, there she is.
