Wyll: Princess and the Pauper. Classic love story. He’s obsessed with it. He sighs and he’s like. The King had it figured out 💕 That being said, he’s also a stan for Three Musketeers. They’re basically the Blade of Frontiers in Barbie form.

Astarion: Contrary to popular belief, his favorite is not Princess and the Pauper. He likes that old 2006 movie, The Barbie Diaries. He’s living for the gossip of it all. He gets way too invested.

Gale: Princess Charm School. Let’s be so for real. He’s so invested in the ways of Princess school, he wants to study those classes too. Let Gale be a princess.

Karlach: Princess and the Popstar. She is grooving to those songs. She doesn’t care that it’s a remake of the OG, she’s here for the music and the music alone.

Halsin: He says he would never bother with them, but I think he’s absolutely obsessed with Swan Lake. They all turn into animals and he’s like, omg that’s just like me.

Shadowheart: Magic of Pegasus, not a singular doubt in my mind. She’s far too invested in flying horses, magic, and ice skating. She’s so excited whenever they’re flying, or when Annika wears that purple dress.

Lae’zel: Would never be caught dead watching a Barbie movie. That being said, don’t be surprised if you see her humming the soundtrack to 12 Dancing Princesses, for no reason in particular. She definitely watched it until she memorized the script.

Minthara: Mariposa. She’s like Lae’zel and wouldn’t want to admit it, but the Butterfly Fairies absolutely fascinate her.

Minsc: A Perfect Christmas, or maybe Solstice in the case of Baldur’s Gate holidays. Boo likes it too, so double the reason.

Jaheira: Thumbelina. Not even a question. It’s the perfect Druid film.

Isobel: Rapunzel, she grew up on this classic and I don’t think it ever left her.

Aylin: She… doesn’t have the best knowledge of the Barbie films until Isobel shows her. Because of this, she genuinely thinks Pink Shoes is the best one. Bless her soul.

Orin: Barbie Fairytopia: Mermadia. Next question.

Gortash: You think he watches Barbie movies? You think Gortash watches Barbie movies? You’re correct. A Fashion Fairytale is mandated viewing for the like, five days he’s a Duke.

Kethric: Isobel would watch Rapunzel pretty much nonstop, so by default this is his favorite.

Mizora: Barbie in a Christmas Carol, except she genuinely doesn’t think that Eden did anything wrong at first.

Cazador: He doesn’t even deserve a ranking. This mf probably tried to watch the Mermaid Tale one and got mad bc there weren’t any vampires. He doesn’t know good cinema.

Zevlor: Barbie in the Nutcracker because it’s a classic, and I think he’s definitely go for that sort of film. The tiefling children at the grove probably have that one on a lot.

Rolan: Fairytopia, specifically Magic of the Rainbow. For no other reason except that it had magic in the title, and so he watched it for that reason alone, before becoming obsessed.

Dammon: You cant tell me this man hasn’t seen EVERY single one. They’re everything to him. That being said, I think he has a particular liking for The Island Princess.

she is a cleric of kelemvor and sacrificial survivor of a myrkul death cult. she escaped nearly dying at the age of 7 bc kelemvor saved her from near death.

she is not from baldurs gate!! she is from the outskirts of omorath but after escaping she lives on the streets.

the second time kelemvor comes to get her (nearly died in an alley) she becomes a cleric and returns to the city. joins the tower of skulls in omorath and does most of her work taking care of the diseased and guiding people in the fugue plane.

a Doomguide and part of a doom clergy.

she is originally darker skinned / tan but turns grey using her powers. when she blushes she becomes her original color lol

she ends up closer to baldurs gate on pilgrimage. she meets marisol (lambs oc) her best friend there.

she is a cleric of kelemvor, the god or judge of death. she tends to wear like a plague doctor sort of uniform and is very attached to a necklace she has that she prays over!! in general she prefers to be covered because she normally is response for helping the diseased as well as the deceased.

always wearing gloves for the same reason ^ special gloves that she has with her even after the kidnapping on the ship.

her personality is very blunt 😭and straightforward but never mean. she is just super direct and a little clueless about social cues... VERY HONEST LOL.

her main story arc is around her parents! like i mentioned she is a cleric of kelemvor but she spent her childhood in a death cult. in act one she hears rumor of a tiefling couple who worshipped myrkul being seen kidnapped on the towers to moonrise. in act two, her major scene, you have the choice on whether or not to kill or rescue her parents.

soulikha as a character puts her duty as a cleric above all else, even herself. she never expresses her feelings, never complains, just does as she believes is of expected to her. it gives her identity. up until this point, it's very rare to see her break down. this is the first scene where she makes a decision for herself

she also believes part of her job is assuring the people suffering die with the dignity and honor they deserve. part of this is because of her upbringing.

she also believes admantly in people dying when they are supposed to. as a cleric of kelemvor with particular favor of her god, she can hear whispers and regrets of death. the shadowfell lands are hard on her.

her main romance partner is karlach

her main romance with karlach has to do with touch and intimacy.

soulikha normally has her face covered and her body so if she were an origin and romance companion chara they'd be surrounding them but in her story she is dating karlach

karlach is soulikhas first love. they are tragic to me. soulikha is constantly telling karlach it's not her time and they often talk about death. she has a line to karlach:

"i will be there. when your soul burns brightest in the fugue plane, i will lead you. till the end of your life and in mine. my hand will find you. you will know its me."

she is shorter than karlach a bit. their whole romance is soulikha saying over and over that she knows karlach is bound to die, and comforting her through that.

but after the actual end of the game, soulikha cries for the very first time and begs karlach to live. it's the first time she ever says the words "i want you to live.) very heartbreaking

their ending is opening. ultimately soulikha wants to stay with karlach. they promise each other to live. the ending varies depending on other stuff but YEAH.

her bad ending is letting herself become myrkuls new chosen so karlach can have her heart back. fucking AWFUL ending gkdjsd theyre so sad.

learns music from the musicians in the pleasure house. naturally gifted. starts composing his own music at ten when one of this mothers regular customers gifts him a cli' lyre, enchanted with magic

has a complicated relationship with his mother. his mother is a prostitute but also very addicted to drugs. she wasn't motherly and often made advances on him when he grew up into puberty. his only family. when she was coming down the high, he would play her music to fall asleep.

practiced a lot on his own, other musicians taught him other instruments. very talented. most of his music and songs were about his one true love, roxana

roxana was another child of the house. they grew up together. she wasn't particularly talented but she was soft, kind, and beautiful. they both knew she would end up staying in the house, but nyx did try to protect her from customers when they were both underage.

roxana is full blooded human. she has a tattoo of roses down her spine that nyx dedicated one of his songs too and got matching trellis tattoos for. his most popular song.

his composition reached far and wide and he was offered many times to leave the pleasure house to perform. but he loved roxana and she often begged to say with him - so he never went. for her he'd do pretty much anything.

spent most of their lives together as lovers. first kiss at 13, lost their virginity to each other at 16/17, when they are in their early 20's nyx saves up to propose.

nyx is betrayed by roxana, though nyx by default does not care if Rrxana were to take lovers. 

because of nyx’s upbringing and roxana’s work, all nyx had ever asked Roxana for was to keep no secrets between them 

(growing up, roxana was naturally meek and often was in dangerous situations. Both because of this and because of his mothers commentary after she’d invited him for sex (“let’s keep this a secret between us,”). nyx had asked Roxana to never keep things from him, if she could.) 

roxana ultimately chooses another man over nyx, one she’d kept a secret. she’d told nyx that she couldn’t be with him anymore. That she wanted more from life, and that she would go with her new lover to see greater sights. 

“I loved her. Beautiful like a rosebed. I was a fool, of course. Only a fool forgets that the first rule to pick roses is dethorning them, lest they make you bleed.”

nyx sets off for college the same night. packs his belongings, says by to the pleasure house. his mother kisses on the cheek. he doesn't tell roxana about this

after that he commits to a life of debauchery at the college of swords. many flings and makes more music but never gets tied down despite peoples offers and efforts.

very charismatic in general and good at behaving in slimy and manipulative ways fhfksd. acts in self-interest.

very weak to soft and gentle women (hung up on his ex.... rip)

never ever mentions roxana by name even as an origin character. a lot of his story is about getting him to open up. he has a confrontation with his ex in act 3. his story is similar to astarion

in act one he hears rumor of a beautiful prostitute in the city who works the cities leaders and follows this. his main decision is meeting roxana again and deciding whether or not to forgive or save her

(you learn through the course of his story that roxana was never particularly good or honest to him, though it's not easy to figure out. the best ending to for him to save her but not take her back, the worst is dying for he)

his primary love interest is lae'zel !!

they have a silly and funny relationship at first. it starts as a sex thing but their tent is next to each other. lae'zel likes calling him a jester but loves his voice too.

he likes that she's very different from the women he dates. she's very harsh towards him but he also trusts she would never lie to him. he comforts her through the situation with vlaaktih and she in his story helps him realize that not everyone is out to betray him. he wants to love her and does.

he is SO affectionate towards her act three. she is constantly pissed she has romantic feelings for local emo clown

lae'zel having no propensity for manipulation and also being very honest is really refreshing for nyx. they have a minor age gap fdkfskjd

at the end of the story - nyx encourages lae'zel to travel and save their people. he makes a life for them in the city and writes hundreds of songs about her in her absence. they raise a gith child together

Ok posting my very personal and dear Gale headcanon.

Gale is genderqueer to me.

Ok so Genderqueer Gale. Gnc Gale. Yes. General note I think he's amab. But if we see this from a Gale perspective I genuinely don't think he personally would identify as anything other than cis. HIM PERSONALLY. He's just fine w that label. This might also be bc I don't think he'd really actually think that hard about his gender at all. He's just kinda like yup this is what I'm comfortable with. This is what I feel like. He also doesn't mind being called by she / her pronouns, but does mostly go by he / him. Will never admit it but people calling him by she / her pronouns just makes his heart flutter just a little bit.... even if it's an accident.

THAT BEING SAID. I do think sometimes he feels especially feminine, POSSIBLY feels like a woman somewhere deep inside him on some days?? I genuinely don't know how to explain it. I also feel like he doesn't really tell people about these feelings, but maybe it's more like he doesn't feel like he NEEDS to. This is just who he is. And he's ok with it and feels like he doesn't have to justify it. This is just who Gale is.

I also feel like. Possibly. Hair Length he has in the game is actually him in the process of growing it out longer to see how he likes it. I feel like he does eventually grow it out longer but end up cutting it again cause he likes that length ( the one he has in game ). He also likes wearing eye shadow and painting his nails, both purple cause I think it's his favorite color. I also think he would sometimes like wearing long skirts and dresses, but only the long ones that like go down to his ankles. I think his favorite would be skirts especially.

Ok now this is where u guys really have to stick w me. Idk exactly when, tbh I imagine it mostly like. Post-game. But. Gale feels especially feminine for awhile, decides that to get the most gender euphoria out of his feelings, he decides to go on estrogen for awhile, idk how long, possibly around 4-6 months?? Grows a small amount if breast tissue, but sometimes wears bras because he likes how he feels in them. Also possibly when he grows out his hair longer. But NEVER cuts his beard. He loves his beard. It's part of the gender. Just never shaves in general. Never felt like it. Also keeps his voice the way it is and doesn't try to do any voice training or anything, he likes it the way it is. Possibly using this to cope with the events of the game?? In a way?? I think being in touch with his femininity really heals something within him.

Alright now I get to talk about him and Vreth ( my tav ) with all of this. Tbh I feel like Vreth is the one who introduces him into doing his makeup, because Vreth actually does his own makeup ( I try to make it obvious but Vreth has eyeliner ). For a little Vreth was the one who did Gales eyeshadow until he learned how to do it himself. I also don't think Gale ever like. Expresses how he feels to Vreth, as I mentioned earlier, just bc he feels like that's just who he is and he shouldn't have to try and justify it. Vreth just realizes it's just how he is and just rolls with it basically. Maybe possibly Vreth asks if he can call him by feminine things just to get an idea of the extent of Gales femininity.

I like to think that during Gales time on estrogen, he likes to update Vreth on changes and feelings he has. One that always plays in my head is Vreth asking how he is and Gale tells him about how his nipples hurt, and they both think it's funny ( sign he's growing breasts ). I just think that they'd really bond during this experience in a way, probably because Vreth is Trans and had to go through body changes.

so funny to me that Gale was surprised when Raiden imagined kissing him bc like. he has fully been making eyes at Gale since the moment they met. Gale is wearing two purple rings and he has 3 in his inventory just because whenever Raiden finds one while he's looting he thinks of Gale. Raiden's brain was melting out his ears the whole time Gale was showing him how to channel the weave. it is a good thing this boy is a sorcerer bc he was too goo goo eyed to have passed any checks.

I did not take any cute pictures bc I always get really nervous before concerts sjsj!! but basically, it was super hot in KC so I knew I had to wear something I wouldn't die in!

so I wore a purple sports bra (like a cute ribbed, washed cotton one from Target) and a sheer iridescent shirt that was oversized for maximum airflow. then I wore my tried and true wide leg jeans and a pair of cowgirl booties! it was easy and kept me cool for the most part!

also this is my psa to everyone: the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray is a miracle worker. I sweated my fucking ass off (we were in the nosebleeds so like we were genuinely closer to the sun) and my makeup DID NOT MOVE! I had to SCRUB it off later!! and if you layer it like I did....it will stay on literally forever!

🩸 Stu is red...I'm dead serious, it's red. (like blood. Shocking.) All shades of red he might even like orange too. And he wears a lot of grey and tan colors in Scream so we gotta consider those but I wear black daily and I like it but it's not my favorite so I still say red. He would say it reminded him of blood with a straight face and act like that's normal.

🥶 Billy loves blue. In Scream he wears nothing but blue and white. I highly doubt he likes just white or grey (But he might say that just to be different and seem boring so you'll leave him alone) But he loves the color blue and almost all his jackets and shirts are grey, white, black or blue. (He likes red too bc of the blood thing. He's just not going to be as obvious about it as Stu.) Navy blue is probably what he would honestly say is his favorite color.

🍀 Randy likes green for sure. Did you see that green jacket he wore at Windsor? His green t shirt at Stu's party? The green trim shirt at the fountain? Man likes green ppl. Green.

🌟 Dewey is yellow. He never wears it or has nothing in yellow but his fav is definitely yellow.

💜 Tatum...Ik we're thinking pink and I'm sure she likes it but her's is probably the most specific color like Magenta or Baby Blue or Fushica. I say some type of purple. (Partially bc my story with the purple butterfly belt!! I ttly remember my one older cousin having a black belt with a butterfly buckle and it had purple genstones and diamonds mixed in it.)

🍂 Sidney feels like such a Virgo to me idk my Mom's a Virgo and I just see similarities so I'm going with it. I think she likes Earth Tones(My mom and every Virgo I've ever met like Earth tones for their homes especially.) or greys or a really subtle color like periwinkle or something alone those lines. I'm going with brown or a rust orange for her! Idk those Earthy tones feel like her favs and she wear mostly brown the entire franchise except for Scream 1.

Prologue~

Four dark figures in cloaks surrounded a big pot of deep dark redbubbling steaming concoction...

"Brothers... a offering approaches," one of them said looking into the pot and seeing an image

"Whence shall she arrive?" the tallest of tha figures asked

"heareaboits 7 pm.." the first one said

"I so hungr for a nice dinner..." another one said. He had glasses and was rubbing his hands together hungrily.

" Here here," they all said rowdy

"let us prepare the manor..." the first one who talked said. “I shall prepare z room…”

"yes yes," they said. And they all left from the room containing the pot and began to prepare for their specoal visitor....

It was becoming a dark and stormy night....Marie was on her way to her grandmas house when a sudden torrential downpour happened!!!

"oh no! Rain!" she cried as the droplets began soaking her and her clothes.

it was getting really dark from the storm except for the flashed of lightening that lot up the sky. She needed to find better shelter than some gnarly trees!

Ahead on the road she thought she was able to see a little light coming from what looked like windows,

She had left for her grandmothers house at 3 and was supposed to he there at like 9 but the rain relay hapered her journey

Maria just HAD to get there it was important that she get to her grandmas!!!

" Come on Radish, we've got to find shelter..." she told her horse and potted it on the side. He was a reddish brown horse and he was 16 hands high and he had a birthmark that was slightly darker color than the rest of him that looked like a radish which is why they named him Radish.

Marie was wearing a midnight purple cloak and underneath she was wearing a blue dress with white ruffles on the ends and it went down to her ankles and it had darker blue bits and she had her hair in its natural form but she had some of it in two braid on the sides that joined in the back that kept it out of her face. She was wearing whatever makeup was culturally adequate (AN: idk LOL)

But all her clothes and possible makeup were getting ruined in the pouring rain!

Oh no!

She got Radish to hurry to the light so they wouldnt get strike by lighteneing....

She arrived at the door to the big stone mansion and did mounted and held radishes reigns as she knocked on the door with the doorknoker

She made sure to hold them tight because there was a moat thing and the door was at the end of a bridge over it.

She hoped they had a place for her horse radish :( She could barely see any thing except for when lighteneing struck it was raining so hard.

There waz a big door knocker on the door and s he saw it when the lighting flashed and it was a big long dog head with the circle knocker in its mouth?? Weird Maria had never seen anything like it before…

The knocker had been knocked for like a minute and the storm was getting worse but Maria was absolutely sure shed seen a light in the big building when she was driving up with her horse ….they looked down on her like eyes as she stood ther but was there anyone behind them???

Finally there was a biiig shock of the lightning and she hadn’t even noticed but the door opened!

Another lightneing flash and the open door had a figure in the inside!

Wow the storm must be right above them there was almost no gap between the thunder and the lightening.

“Good eevening..” The figure sais mysteriously

“Hello kind sir I was on my way ot my grand mother’s dwelling when this terribel gale overtook me…would you be so kinda as ro all wme to stay with you for a short time until the storm rebates?

Alls she could ee was a hunched over sillouete because there was alight on behind him. HE seemed tall but he was all hunched.

“Yes, sweet child you shall stay with us as longs you need…” the strangers vice was high pitched and mousy it reminded her of her grandmother’s so she felt safe

“Whos house is this?” Maria asked

“Tis the house….of Seymour,” said the guy he moved his candelabra (he had a candelabra btw) and Maria saw his face in good light . He was wearing thick spectacles and was very very pale like he hadn’t been in the sun for weeks and weeks maybe even moths. He looked really tired. And he had dark hair.

“I thank you dor your hospitality,” said Marix as she was ushered inside by the slouching figure
