You looked around you and sighed. You were lying if you said you didn’t expect it, but it was still a bittersweet feeling. As you looked up you saw how the waiter looked at you with pity in their eyes, you hated it, but you could only blame yourself. Your phone screen lit up and your eyes quickly scanned the screen but to your luck it wasn’t Pablo he was yet to answer your multiple texts asking him where he was.

You were done, your patience running thin you grabbed your belongings and left the restaurant. You felt humiliated the dress you had on and the makeup that was painted onto your face all felt stupid, you prepared yourself for someone who didn’t have the decency to show up. You waited for someone who stopped meeting you halfway. Entering your car you sighed and waited for the tears to come out but to your surprise nothing came out, you no longer felt sad, you were just tired. Tired of actually thinking that Pablo was going to change, tired of gaslighting yourself into believing that his love was actually enough for you. Maybe you did something to deserve this but even if you did you were not going to put up with this.

Driving home gave you time to think, to think about what you were going to do next. No explanation from Pablo was going to change your mind. Finally arriving at Pablo’s house you walked to his front door and unlocked it. The scene in front of you painted the perfect picture for you to be done with everything. In front of you was Pablo on his phone with no care in the world, as you walked towards him he looked up and looked at you with confusion. “What are you doing all dressed up y/n?” He questioned.

“I don’t know Pablo, oh wait I do maybe I dressed up for our date tonight but guess what my own boyfriend didn’t even have the decency to show up. By the looks of it he didn’t even have the decency to remember that he had a date to attend!” You yelled out. Pablo’s face suddenly dropped and regret filled his face. “I’m so sorry amor, I completely forgot you know how tired I have been with practice, but don’t worry I’ll make it up to you, tomorrow we can go somewhere else. Somewhere better.” He tried to propose. You just looked at him. You looked at him and felt nothing just tiredness you couldn’t even recognize your boyfriend. You didn’t understand where everything went so wrong, but looking at him you understood how the love you two shared wasn’t enough for the both of you.

“Pablo there is no tomorrow, after I leave this house there will be no more us. I need you to understand that this isn’t the first time that this has happened, Pablo I’m always by your side but now it just feels like I’m invisible to you. I don’t to argue I just want you to understand that I’m not mad I’m just disappointed, you promised me so much unconditional love and support, it’s so sad that you couldn’t keep your promise.”
