Thinking about Maggie thinking about Callum again I'm thinking so much Abt it and gonna devastate you alllll with my thinkingggg >:]C last warning~

Cuz truly it's one of my fav hcs that she managed to steal either a jacket or hoodie, sweater or scarf or SOMETHING that Callum used to wear often and that really kick-starts her hoodie thief era, unbeknownst to her at the time. Tho thing is, she nearly never wears it. Never washed it never touches it. It's one of her most prized possessions.

Max doesn't even know of it's existence until he finds Maggie after a really ... really long bad day. Maggie only would dare touch it when she absolutely needed it the most. Days where she's just a husk, so tired of everything. Really bad days.

On those days, after Max and her grow close, Maggie either goes over for a sleep over and has some (all) of the cuddles. Or she wears Callum's oversized clothes and doesn't touch anything. No in-between. She's so defensive over it that she's the only one she feels comfortable touching it. Might just rival her defensiveness over her bullet, but she's even less willing for ppl to know about this. God that'd be embarrassing right? Letting ppl see her act so childishly. Yes she's still a child but that's irrelevant psH

She really doesn't Want to risk losing much of any of what makes the clothes remind her of Callum. She couldn't deal with losing the sensory elements that comfort her. Max quickly gets that if anything happened to it she'd have a meltdown and spontaneously combust. That doesn't happen tho

Good thing is, as maggie collects more loved ones like Pokemon cards, she's got a lot more hoodie options for comfort. She can keep Callum's stuff safer without needing to depend on it for comfort. Not that she wouldn't have days where she misses him enough for it, just that she'd have more ppl to get comfort from. Both via clothes she stole from them and each of them having ways to comfort her. From distractions to comfort food

Eventually it's a cute idea to me too that Maggie might get Callum's stuff made into a stuffed animal, for better cuddling purposes
