Pluto in 5th housers I notice are not into sleeping around. They usually save that for relationships or marriage. They can be very extreme with it though and can become very judgmental of others who do choose to sleep around.

Taurus suns can be big narcissists. When underdeveloped they will pinpoint weaknesses and insecurities in other’s personalities or looks to make themselves look more superior. They hate when others have more or better qualities than them (especially $$ and looks) they can be big bullies.

I know a lot of Scorpio moons that refuse to ever touch substances. Like they’re usually really against experimenting with that kinda stuff. (They usually stick to drinking)

They can be very insecure about their goofy quirky sides of them, usually somewhere in their past that side of them was seen as “unacceptable” to their peers so they closed that side up with a very serious dulled down exterior. In the spirit of the Olympics: ASOIAF characters and their Olympic sports

Jamie Cersei obviously a tennis doubles team thanks @melrosing for ur big brained art. Tywin is their coach and has been abusing training them since they were like seven. Consistent natty champs but haven’t scored a Wimbledon title yet and have yet to get gold at the Olympics (they have one bronze one silver). Mostly because Cersei breaks her racket every time things start going wrong. Also because Jamie is so full to the brim with shame and need for daddy’s recognition that he starts breaking down almost immediately once the point gap starts to widen

Brienne is a long distance swimmer she’s the Katie Ledecky of Westeros no one can touch her do you see her wingspan??? Usually finishes 5-15 seconds before everyone else sometimes other ppl aren’t even in the frame. Has multiple gold medals at this point and has been to the Olympics twice before she even turned 20. Lesbians go crazy over her online

Arya does some type of shooting and she’s like those tiny little teenagers that show up and blow all of their grownup competition out of the water. Steady hand and crazy aim. OR she does fencing and has a super unique style that gets the internet really into it for a couple of weeks. OR judo in the lightweight class. She’s so talented 🙂‍↕️ she’s definitely medaled at her first games when she’s like 14

Sansa is very obviously a figure skater like!!!! Of course she is!!! She is obsessed with her lines and artistry and takes ballet classes in order to improve her fluidity. She’s a young star in women’s singles, mostly for how graceful and fluid she is when she moves, and for her very gentle/pretty/romantic choice of costumes, music, and choreography. But she really wants to do pair skating mostly because she wants to have a romantic story to tell at their wedding (yes Joffrey is the potential partner)

Dany plays field hockey and she is sooooo cute and fun and peppy off the field and is so charming during all the interviews and always gives the girls a great inspirational speech and is just a very good leaderly figure in general. And then the game starts and you see a 5’2 platinum blonde sprinting towards u with blood and malice in her eyes and a big stick in her hands. She wants gold and by god does she get gold. Occasionally body checks ppl but she’s just too small for rugby.

Robb is a young rugby star he’s so handsome and muscular and all of his interviews go viral everyone’s obsessed with his training videos that the team TikTok posts. Soooo good too he’s on the Olympic team at 18 and he’s just sprinting down that field and dominating the game. But he’s so oblivious to it all the love when ppl ask if he’s dating anyone he’s like why would I do that I have to bulk up and focus on my game 🤨 and then runs off to meal prep with Theon (who does not meal prep but is obsessed with him)

Jon is an ice hockey guy to me. So dark and brooding while he’s sitting on the bench and he’s all locked in when it’s time to start playing he’s just so serious ab it he lives for The Game. But every time his buddies score a goal he goes absolutely batshit crazy and just loses all composure. And when they win he starts ugly sobbing. There’s a viral photo of him after winning his first gold just standing on the podium with snot and tears running down his face while the rest of the team is like 😁😁😆😄 him and Robb train together but Jon has absolutely no media training every interview is a disaster

i agree. and no hate to brettsey because i think they’re pretty cute but saying a brand new couple should’ve had a baby before stellaride, an established ship for years, is crazy. like the emphasis on brettsey conceiving a baby is what’s weirding me out. that persons comment really gives off the notion that baby julia and the darden boys aren’t apart of the brett and casey’s family.

brettsey was canon for maybe like 23 episodes total (before the engagement) and only about 6 of those were on screen. the rest was long distance. and now they’ve got three kids between the two of them. baby julia isn’t even one years old yet and fans already want them to have another baby. it’s just not necessary for them. also, they aren’t even on screen right now…

can i also add that i don’t like the fact that they wrote brett out by having her follow casey to portland when she didn’t want to go when he first asked. they could’ve given brettsey endgame and given her professional development too. promote her to whatever position is above being a PIC and have her leave 51 but still be in chicago. casey could’ve moved back to chicago. and even though i really do think it’s too soon, casey could’ve proposed to brett and we got the brettsey wedding like we saw. except they both be in chicago now. they set him up coming back to chicago perfectly in season 11 by saying ben was applying to college. so i don’t know why they didn’t have him move back.

and let me just say before someone says the stellaride fans are also obsessed with the concept of a biological baby, no we’re not. as a stellaride fan, i can without a doubt see stellaride adopting a child, more specifically an older teenager who’s about to age out of the system. my only issue is the fact that one chicago can’t seem to allow women to give birth. it’s disgusting that kim, gabby, and apri all had miscarriages. and if this universe was better about allowing the main characters to give birth then i’d love to see stellaride adopt. but that’s just not the reality of this universe right now. so that’s why i want stellaride to have a baby. plus, i like the idea that they’re easing into starting a family. i’m not a big fan of unplanned pregnancies in shows because that’s pretty much how it always happens.

so i want to see at least one main character be able to give birth to a baby. and in reality the only couple in this universe who i can see having a baby right any time soon is stellaride and burzek because all the other relationships are pretty new. and i also feel like burzek aren’t really in a rush to have another baby because they’ve got makayla and they’re about to get married. they’ve got some time. so really that only leaves stellaride.

And more often than not now when female characters are poorly done the male characters are too bc the writing is and all around, or even if it’s just the female characters that’s once again: a different only semi related issue (still misogyny too tho like u said) and not applicable to every show or movie ever??

And once again STRANGER THINGS, which is a very popular well known live action PG-13 TV show has relatively well written female characters (there are some issues but the women in the show are written with care and complexity which is way more than a lot of shows can say, it’s the fandom that tries to take the complexity away) with chemistry yet the most popular ship is steddie, and even byler, another mlm ship, is not as popular as the mlm ship between two dudes that had like 3 interactions, much less ronance in which the two characters in the ship had a whole arc together and one is canonically a lesbian.

And the way ronance and elmax were both voted out on that poll before jopper bc everyone was so quick to sacrifice them.. like Ik it’s Reddit but still this is a FANDOM SPACE I know you guys aren’t choosing a straight ship over sapphics 🤨🤨 the only scenario where I actually prefer a straight ship to a sapphic one is lumax over elmax and that is a rare, rare occurrence

hey!! of course!! but the fact you’re asking this tells me you aren’t the kind of person my post was aimed at so i wouldn’t worry to much about it! also it got kind of long so to save everyone i’ll put it under a read more!

i think most of these will be pretty obvious but i think the most important thing is not to speak over or for the community! if a gay person says something is homophobic don’t try to argue that it isn’t or if a trans person tells you something is transphobic don’t tell them it isn’t! 

personally a few red flags i look out for when following people is do they have the same attitude towards the rest of the community as they do gay men? a lot of the time straight girls try to pass off their fetishisation of gay/bi men as allyship but don’t have the same attitude towards lesbians, bi women or trans and non binary people. if you go out of your way to watch every single bl even when its in 480p with no subs and can only be accessed on the dark web but can’t name a single wlw show... i don’t trust you. 

don’t make jokes about homophobia/things being homophobic. you would think that would be pretty obvious but i have seen this happen and it just makes me uncomfortable. like gay ppl make those kinds of jokes to cope with the actual homophobia they endure so when straight ppl do it it just doesn’t really make sense lmao. also straight people calling other straight people/actors gay icons is another thing that doesn’t make sense to me lmao and i think people can get carried away with these types of jokes.

another thing i pay attention to is the way people will talk about the shows/ships. i see a lot of like “theyre so soft uwu gaybies” when talking about mlm ships and i think this can come off as quite infantilising like they’re grown men or on the opposite side the over sexualisation and obsession with kiss/sex scenes etc and those kind of “omg so hot and sinful” type comments that i have seen very often are an issue to me so basically if you don’t talk about straight couples that way then don’t use that kind of language when talking about gay couples. also if someone proudly calls themselves a fujoshi that is just immediate alarm bells and i won’t hesitate to block them lmao. or if their bio includes something like “gay love is life”, “currently crying over my gay ships” or “obsessed with bl/yaoi” it’s just a bit cringey to me. 

these are just things that personally bother me and i try to avoid people like this but i’m sure other people might think differently. i think most importantly just be respectful! treat lgbtq+ people like people!

ugh okay so like. ive wanted to talk abt this for a while but i didn't want to destroy my inbox yknow but at this point idc so like. theres, from my experience as a person of colour, a big issue of racism and white favorism in the cs fandom, especially intersecting w wlwphobia/lesbaphobia and sexism/bias against female characters and honestly im just really tired of it.

i think one of the biggest and most frustrating examples of this is how so much of this fandom treats carmen herself. so many of you shit on carmen for no reason saying that shes "boring" or whatever and it honestly drives me up the wall. Carmen is actually a really interesting character and has much more personality than the average vigilante type character (especially those that are white guys) and yet so many of you constantly talk abt her badly and its just really obvious thats its because your standards of what makes a character "interesting" are infinitely higher when that character is a (both sapphic and trans coded) woman of colour.

and this becomes even more obvious when you look at how much of this fandom obsesses over generic white male characters. the fact that so many of you act like characters like mime bomb and neal the eel that only appear in a couple episodes and aren't well developed at all because they're literally side character are so amazing and interesting and then act like carmen who is much more developed and interesting and literally THE MAIN FUCKING CHARACTER is boring and annoying and toss her aside is so annoying. 

im not you can't like side characters or focus on vile more than other characters, im fine with the people in the fandom that focus on characters like countess cleo and dr bellum or jean paul and antonio more, the main issue the fact that people focus on white male characters like mime bomb, neal the eel, maelstrom, etc.

this also ties into the way so many non carulia shipper talk about carulia. like so many of you act like shippers and the ship itself are annoying for pretty much just existing and while its clear that a decent amount of that is due to wlwphobia its also clear that its also somewhat due to racism because carmen and julia are both women of colour. especially seeing as so many of you insist on shipping these two women of colour that objectively speaking have the most chemistry with each other with white men that they are both clearly romantically uninterested in instead. it all just feels really iffy and gross to me when you realise that.

there is also a bit of an issue with the way some carulia shippers characterise carmen as a flirty latina stereotype and julia as an innocent asain stereotype, but this is is a lot less common that those posts going around a while ago made it out to be. still i have noticed this mostly in a few fanfics on ao3 and the like so i will say that ppl need to try avoid those stereotypes (i think they're a lot more common among shippers on sites other than tumblr and discord, which is probably why i haven't seen them that often) (also julia being characterised as submissive and the like is a lot more common for when shes shipped with chase (a white man) imo so like :/)

also the fact that so many of you obsess over chase, a white man that repeatedly diminishes and talks down a woman of colour and has yet to apologise to her, is just really tiring, especially as so many of you ignore how rude hes been to julia. like i get if you want to have a male character to focus on but like shadowsan (outside of the context of that gross ship w zack u nasties) is literally right there. you have no reason to be obssesing over a white man thats repeatedly very rude and demeaning to a woman of colour lol.

im not saying that all of you are deliberately racist (though seriously white ppl you need to stop taking people pointing out racist things you do as a personal attack) but i am saying that some of you literally need to re-examine your biases with how you view the characters in the show because holy shit its tiring.

like you can have ur opinions. u likely dont mean any harm and thats fine idc im not attacking you for not vibing with jotaro kujo, that would be silly

but it’s really damn obvious that jotaro is severely depressed.

and it always makes me feel weird to see people call his personality boring (i dont mean character development, that’s a different thing entirely) bc as someone w depression it’s so nice to finally see a character that is......... like me. you’d think w how common depression is authors wouldn’t be such misinformed cowards but a lot are. so jotaro is very dear to me. ironically it took almost a year for me to realize i relate to him so hard bc there’s like a 99.99999% chance he’s depressed.

depression is more than just being sad & people can be very high functioning and successful despite depression so let’s get that out of the way while i explain in unnecessary length why i believe this whether it was intentional by araki or not.

1. it makes you angry & moody depression and anger go hand in hand. irritability is a symptom for a reason, baby! it can make you very aggressive and give you a very short fuse (or the opposite, make you repress it). god knows i am aware of this lol. even the smallest things can set off intense anger. and jotaro’s aggressive responses r a notable feature of his character. not to mention that sometimes when you get really angry, it feels better than feeling nothing; sometimes you end up seeking it out just to feel something.

2. it makes you feel like a problem jotaro worries excessively, albeit for a reason but it also fits depression’s MO, that people he loves will be hurt bc of him. and a lot of people, myself included, lash out in anger when deeply upset, whether they are truthfully angry.

he is the problem. he is always the problem, in his mind. is that self centered? maybe. but it is a common thought and it often comes from a place of deep self loathing, not exaggerated self importance. he keeps people away bc if he gets involved with them, they get hurt; and this is only proved time and time again & he’s allowed to internalize that. which eventually ruins his family (ahem jokes about bad dad jotaro are not funny, they never have been, thank you and moving on.) and sometimes i wish he had the chance to cope with his shit and [cries]

3. it makes you apathetic and empty people also think jotaro is emotionless which honestly? maybe that could be the case. depression is very consistent (otherwise it’s usually something else, like a form of bipolar). for some people, myself included, the feeling they feel consistently is apathy or emptiness. instead of ‘neutral’ you just feel... void of anything at all. i would describe it as a cloud hanging over your entire life. sometimes it rains, sometimes it pours. but the cloud is always there. his apathy seems to be the main reason people hate him and it’s one of those things that i just cannot imagine the other side on, you know? it’s such a part of my own life.... i never realized people thought that was ‘unrealistic’.

there are many moments when you can feel happy, joyful, or peaceful; they are just few and far between. even though i am depressed, i have things that make me very happy. sure it’s one thing, but it’s a thing! for jotaro, that seems to be marine biology and family. although araki has some weird obsession with family being super important we will pretend that family is important to jotaro, not araki. anyways. these arent reasons to say he isnt depressed, bc there are some of the few things he seems to love. there are also ups and downs to your mood, as is there is for someone without any mental health issues.

4. it can accompany trauma and psychological issues jotaro grew up with a dad who was, as far as we can guess, never home. a dad so absent that joseph hated him and you know what joke im about to make there. yes im aware it’s also bc he ‘took his daughter away’ bc joseph was born when women were property and racism was super cool hashtag vintage but it is likely deeper than that for reasons that this post isnt about.

but.

sadao was an absent father and put work first and i can tell you from experience that destroys your self esteem as a child. you feel unimportant. you feel like you don’t come first to your parent. it certainly does not make for a happy childhood and any psychologist will scream at u that childhood is absolutely key in developing ur brain. theres also the fact that jotaro 100% got bullied for ‘not having a dad’ bc it was the 1980s and actually nvm that still happens haha hashtag vintage.

besides being depressed, this is also the example of a father that jotaro had growing up (ppl like to act like joseph lived w them lol no joseph was also a distant father figure, if one at all), so him being away from his family all the time? he probably didnt give it a second thought. beyond the fact that the subconscious exists and we dont consciously decide everything we do (which jojo fans in particular are super bewildered by idk what it is with yall), jotaro is also the type of person to avoid pondering his own personal problems.

so anyways........

I dunno if ppl remember, but a year ago (okay, almost a year ago) I wrote a post regarding “Favorite Part” that I’m pretty sure only a few handle of ppl may have actually read my entire rambling at the time. However, my post appears in the first pages of Google when you do a search (in English, with specific terms, though), and hah... hah... 

So, it’s almost endgame for the series (the series seem to end in two weeks from today, Sep 11, 2019?!)! And I somehow thought, “yeah, let’s do this once more and WITH FEELING!”

I still consider this series criminally overlooked in the English netisphere, ngl. 

Kinda a shame, because, the series has an interesting story and premise, and has also a pretty interesting cast of characters that you see their growth... reminding you they aren’t perfect, that they will keep tripping, and somehow keep moving on to improve themselves.

I don’t want this post to be just.. .that, an update from that old post I did last year... however, I want to sell you this one again, because... as it happens, I may have had some of my facts wrong due to the language barriers and what not... most of my feelings remain the same and that’s good, although... I think this deserves a better improved writing post from my side.

“Favorite Part” (좋아하는 부분), authored by Tarli (or Tarly), is a story about So Woojoo, a woman who lacks self-esteem, and who happens to have some “extreme” taste in men. She tends to fall for guys with a pretty gorgeous face, and while this isn’t a bad thing, for a woman who is overweight like her, whose self-esteem is in the floor, and who doesn’t have friends to be her “voice of reason”... this might fall in an (sometimes unhealthy) obsession level for her.

Because that’s the only kind of love she might know. And things doesn’t get any prettier from there. It’s a long road for Woojoo to learn that the path she approached wasn’t the best she could have.

Let me be clear about something though. I’m pretty sure that you will all hate Woojoo at the start. Especilly during the first ten chapters (that are kind of a prologue). Given her reasons, the way she “loves” is a very pitiful one, where other guys would step on her, and she would be glad to be stepped on, too.

She isn’t a yandere... or a stalker, let me be also clear on this. But it leads into a very toxic relationship with Kwon (?) Minwoo, someone who is rumored to be a jerk with women, he sleeps around with them, and takes some advantage of them. 

When she finally “breaks up” with him, she is helped by a barista by the name of Kang Hanbyeol, because he couldn’t see her being treated as garbage. They eventually start a friendship, and he has some crush over her. He is practically the only friend Woojoo has (and he is 2 or 3 years her junior; Woojoo is 23, while Hanbyeol is 20... point: he never refers to her as “noona”).

This is as far as spoilers I can go with this post, further stuff I may write and do outside this one are not spoiler-free at all, btw.

Turning a “new leaf” is not going to be easy for these characters. They are not perfect and they are not fully likeable either, but trust me you want to root for them as long as the story goes. As mentioned above, it’s an emotional rollercoaster.

I think I still root for “Favorite Part” because my first impression of it went over my expectations. I was probably expecting one of those stories where, once realizing things end wrong, the MC will change immediately after the fact - for fat and overweight female characters (most all of the time), they lose weight as a way to “improve” or “revenge”... but... WELL, this isn’t that kind of expectable (or “fun”/lighthearted) “glow up” story. 

Woojoo may have some negative aspects as a fat character, and I still wish there were more series with a main overweight female character which main goal isn’t to lose weight as a way to learn self-respect... and it’s a long road for that, that’s for sure. I just hope... in an if scenario, she wouldn’t do it to “earn” self-respect, but more of a way where she finds comfortable enough to decide to do it or not... not as a direct response of that.

There’s a certain male who first appears overweight, though. And NOT ONCE he is treated as a joke, either. Sure, he seems to love to eat and what not... but not as a joke, I promise you. Also rare to see in dramas and what not... similar to Yachae in Park Subong’s “Veggie Hot Bun School Spring Holiday”.

How is its availability in English? WELL, you see... I don’t think it’s impossible for the U.S Line Webtoon branch to pick this series up in the future (and they have picked up some series from their Korean parent company somewhat late), however, I suppose the markets are different and the U.S.’ site is simply more pushing forward to their western creators (other international LINE sites have picked it up, however... ).

SO, last month I found out that at least someone is doing a fan translation of it in English! It’s not perfect per se, and at times it feels wonky, but I believe it has been improving as far as a I have seen, and hopefully this can bring to more people talk about it ;)

Even though it’s still in the first chapters, the road towards more an emotional rollercoaster is a long one, but, hey! Let’s enjoy this road together for the time being (and NOW I CAN FINALLY SHARE MY PAIN OVER THESE CHARACTERS WITH YOU, MWA HAH HAH).

HOPEFULLY the first 3 chapters... 5...  don’t turn you off to read it. I promise you, this is a nice emotional rollercoaster... You are going to suffer, you are going to get happy at times... but it’s a great one.

As I have also said before, this webtoon is also receiving a drama adaptation, although, tbh...? Would they be able to replicate the power that has the original source? (and I have expressed my frustrations over it before)

The series might be ending in late September 2019 in South Korea (as that’s the last public chapter release), but there’s lots of stuff I wish I could talk about it after it finishes.

nah i like ttly agree by the by.. we like a good sexy titillating fight between equals where no one can actually land a blow on each other and its just some good dirty fun, we do not stan any type of violence between romantic partners, regardless of whether its a joke, or ‘justified’.. if you’re reached the point of harming your partner, the relationship is too broken to be called a relationship anymore. at best, it shouldn’t be treated as normal or just. i had one of my characters punch another character but it was a semi-dark fic and it was definitely called out on and they didnt even end up together bc it was like ‘given how it played out we’d be better of just being friends and supporting each other’. like hitting your partner or overpowering them can not be treated like its normal. (its just the bottom energy in me that wouldnt mind getting pinned by a girl so there is that >_>)

also het couples fighting or rather like the celebration of a man overpowering a woman, or even the usually-patronizing women overpowering a man uhh. stop that. there was one scene someone giffed on here from leverage with eliot spencer’s character, and it was really campy and he and his semi-evil love interest were fighting, but it was more like they were using their environment to their advantage so she’d like bust a water pipe and he’d get drenched and take off his shirt, and then he’d do something and she’d have to take her top off (she was wearing a bra obvs, but i swear it wasn’t even skeevy) and by the end of it they were just making out but it wasn’t like either of them overpowered the other one, they just wanted to make out, and lmfoafo it was actually so good tbh but i don’t watch leverage so i can’t link it. -_- im just saying u can have a fight between equals and it can be good.

also there’s like some untameable homoeroticism to some fighting.. a sort of unique nearness two ppl can experience.. for men obviously there can be that level of ‘the only way i can be intimate with this person is by being physically rough’ and perhaps even a resentment for the desire to be near that can show itself in violence, but i think there’s a whole extra layer for women because women are like.. not supposed to be physically violent, they’re supposed to be catty at most, passive-aggressive in their violence. so for women to be physically violent with each other, not abusive(!!) and even so i wouldn’t proclaim it’s overall healthy but it doesn’t have to be abusive!!, that can really strike me as a narrative. teppuu treated me well in that regard. and it’s like hard.. because i see a lot of narratives for men and not see the same parallels for women and be like ‘what gives bro’ even though i KNOW some narratives for men aren’t even something we should be interested in carrying over, and that equality isn’t reached by women proving themselves to be as violent and destructive as men (LIKE WE BEEN KNEW) .. but like whatever fuck it i wanna watch killing eve

Heh I really understand and agree with your complains on the sex positive movement but I think that at the end of day it is important to separate sex from guilt, you know? I always had a TERRIBLE relationship with sex, I felt guilt over anything involving this topic. I dont have tons of sex or whatever bc You dont have to do that to be empowered and free, but the movement really Helped me to heal this obsession with guilt.

there’s positives to the movement (and its great its helped you!) but that post was about highlighting the bad from it. When you expose teens to glittery ‘be a slut do whatever’ posts without any real tips or guidance or warnings about sex that’s when sex positivity becomes blind and messed especially once contextualised against the backdrop of a society that already heavily pressures women enough as it is to be sexually available/show interest in the men that show interest in them. Not to mention that now with how many men have coopted leftist feminist language and what it means for a woman to show ‘pride’ in her body or be ‘empowered’ and ‘liberated’ the pressure put on women has only increased. Like I said that post was more than anything trying to look at the bigger picture, we live in a society where porn is mainstream/where pretty much everyone will have been exposed to it at one point (whether purposely by googling it and watching it or unintentionally by watching music videos that aren’t exactly unlike porn in many ways) i.e we live in a capitalist male dominated society where sex is prevalent and its important to keep that in mind that when trying to spread ‘sex positivity’. I see those posts criticising sex posi as trying to ‘tip the balance’ and offer ppl a more nuance perspective of sex, which honestly growing up I at least didn’t have 99.9 percent of the post I would see on here would be about how everyone of us should be having sex because its great.

The whole thing about Knetz and wonho's "scandalous" past reminded me of something. As a PSA to those people who are so insistent and pushy that idols aren't allowed to have sex/date/be anything but straight: Fuck all of you. You do not own these people, and if you really cared about them you'd be happy if they were happy. It really bugs me how all idols are supposed (1/2)(2/2) have this squeaky clean innocent image where they have to look and act a certain way and have these stupid fucking dating bans because once they don't meet up to that image their success suffers. Idols already give up so much privacy, and the last thing they need is millions of people scrutinizing every little thing they do. i rlly don't think I'm self hating or whatever for thinking it's fine if someone has a preference for trans dudes... or like specifically I enjoy it? like there are lots of ways to be a transphobic creep and only some of those coexist with preference, and only some ppl with preferences are creeps idk... I think context matters. I'm more wary of pan+poly+cis dorks with greasy hair who claim not to have any preference than like, a normal respectful chaser. and like ok if someone is like mostly just into women and then likes some trans dudes (for whatever reason) I'm more likely to side-eye them but even then there's legitimate reasons sometimes. but like I think especially if someone is into men basically exclusively, and then specifically prefers trans men, there is likely an ok reason for that am I crazy? like... I don't think I am. I get if it's not for u but like... idk maybe I'll end up having a bad experience and I'll change my mind. but as for right now I kinda can't imagine that anyone who experiences sexual attraction truly feels neutral about bodies? like I think either you're going to like what's going on w my body or you're gonna dislike it. maybe it's bc I'm almost-sorta dating a non-trans gay dude (a monosexual lmfao) with a preference for trans guys but like, he didn't bring up that preference until I asked him abt it? bc I wanted reassurance that I'm not like gross to him.. and it was v comforting to know that he's Into it. but idk I mean probably some of the stuff I engage with is a little problematic idk. but like as someone who's non-op I guess I just like enjoy having my real actual body be valued. ig there's also the importance of the trans imaginary when it comes to both social n sexual relationships, but I think chasers also have a good chance of being able to engage in that.

talking with him abt my past and some of the stuff going on there and he is seeming to be quite understanding... but also there appears to be a similar darkness in his past which I am concerned about. if someone hates him the way my exes hate me, either he also met a real lunatic or... maybe he did something real bad. I'm scared for that conversation. he mentioned kinda taking advantage of his last bf and that does alarm me a bit even though he seems to be actively trying to grow in the wake of that.

I can't believe at first I was gonna post some of this to my main lmao girl u crazy for that one. speaking of crazy. he seems to be continually undaunted by my mental illness stuff but I wonder if he really has a handle on what all that means. does he reckon himself to be a saviour of sorts? does he think he's some shining white knight? like he's gonna idk... idk man. and like I was honest with him that one of the possibilities that excites me about pursuing a relationship with him is that he seems to provide some kind of room to heal. he is so gentle with me and like assertive and capable of having difficult conversations without shutting down (at least so far). but like I don't see him as a white Knight. I see him as a person that I can pursue emotional health and wellness with, without endangering myself hopefully. but what does it mean for him? what kind of growth does he see for himself in me? does he just see me as an opportunity for him to learn how compassion and ethics and principles work? bc I wouldn't like to be the person who taught him how to love lol...

I hate that I'm thinking so damn far in the future. like I'd like very much for him to be se great guy but I already feel myself clamping up and convincing myself that he's the only person who could be attracted to me. I have to actively remind myself that there are several people who are and have been attracted to me. and there will be many more. chances are that this relationship will not last forever, even if I'm already in fucking ltr mode mentally. I'm trying to predict what the problems will be so that they won't surprise me when they come.

possible problems: he or I meet someone geographically closer + fall in mad passion with them. I scare him away by broadcasting too many of my breakdowns to him, especially if I share my suicidality/true crime obsession/belief that I'm an evil sociopath/ whatever, and just generally be inconsolable enough times until he's worn down completely. I make fun of him and get too mean about it. he turns ace and I start fucking random dudes. he becomes emotionally unavailable and I become needy. he has problems that I can't solve. I never get over my awkwardness about his pain bc I can relate to almost none of it. he decides pussy isn't for him anymore. he drifts too far from gay boy gender-wise and I lose interest. we end up having to move to REALLY different places for work n life. he rapes me. he can't get over the fact that certain things abt me might not go away with recovery. he can't deal with my flirtatious ways. we move in and realize we can't stand each other. we have sex too soon and he loses interest. I'm bad at sex and he loses interest. he realizes my naked body is a shambling horror. he just gets scared of my feelings and the fact that I have them. my career amounts to nothing and he gets suck of supporting me through it
