As a multishipper I often will be like "i ship those two in one universe and those two in another." And some other times it makes me consider poly and I come up with a brand new and fun poly ship.

ok so I wasn’t gonna do this bc I didn’t have the spoons to plan in advance, but it was breaking my heart not to join the HP Rec Fest after seeing so many amazing rec posts. I also wanted to honour Scarlet | @givereadersahug’s memory, and thanks to @tackytigerfic’s new fic (!!!) I was hit by sudden inspo last night so I’ve decided to quietly join and pretend that was the plan all along 🥲 I’ll combine the first 5 prompts in one post to make it easier. go check @hprecfest so you can feast on those brilliant multishipper recs!

day 1: first fic I remember reading

oh it was definitely something in Portuguese, but I’ll go with Rhysenn’s Irresistible Poison. I’ve read it so many times that some scenes are still vivid and clear in my mind 20 years later. the tension, the yearning, the heat! funny to realize I was so into love potion, sex pollen and other dub-con tropes back in the day, and now I’m just… not :)))

day 2: a fic rated G

I’ve picked orphaned Home County because that fic is criminally underrated and I suspect it has something to do with the G rating, which is such a shame. this fic is a delightful, effortlessly funny slice-of-life with architect Harry being charmed by ministry worker Draco. a fresh premise perfectly executed, overall just a feel-good story that makes you sad for leaving that universe when it’s over.

day 3: a fic not on AO3

most of my old reads were either deleted for good or incorporated into ao3 so it was hard to find a good fit, as I did not want to repeat my recs from last year. I decided to go with furiosity, who wrote many Drarry classics that can be found scattered outside of ao3. I remember really enjoying Beyond Wild Moon and Fer, a 6th year Harry POV that follows his Hogwarts routine and sexuality crisis. I haven’t checked it in ages but this is the perfect excuse for a reread 😌

day 4: a comfort fic

every once in a while I think of Nothing Left to Burn by @skeptiquewrites, it had such a lasting impact on me. Tee writes my favorite h/c flavour, raw yet soft, melancholy but also tender, a mix of bittersweet and hopeful that makes my heart ache. it’s so damn relatable and lovely. I adore a good second chances trope, it fits Drarry like a glove and the gorgeous Montreal aesthetics make this love story even more special and unique.

day 5: a romantic fic

how to pick just one?? this felt like an impossible task, but then Two Zinnias by @the-starryknight took my mind with such visceral force I started asking myself “could anything be more romantic than ex-enemies turned allies turned boyfriends going rogue and fighting a corrupted ministry while using Victorian flower codes on the run??” the answer is no - this fic is a thrill, an emotional rollercoaster from start to end and I remember how completely bewildered and in love I felt after reading it, utterly obsessed with this world and characters. so much story and heart under 17k, many memorable scenes and banger lines, the political tension, suspense and epic duelling never overshadowing the intensity and truth of what they felt for each other. peak romance!!!

I ship both! I lean towards Buddie but 7x04 had me on board and I’ve been on it ever since. It’s sad that even has to be asked as I’m assuming some people have pretended to ship them?? I’m assuming this has to do with the harassment BT shippers get. I also like Tarlos I just haven’t seen the new season of LS since grace is gone 😭 and she was my favorite character.

@teamcyrusbitch I used to love Buddie, but fandom drama drove me away from them. I'm trying and hoping to get back into them by finding Buddie fans who also like Tommy and BuckTommy, or even BuddieTommy.

To answer your question, yes. I've unfortunately seen some of the more malicious Buddie shippers pretend to like BuckTommy, and then befriend the BuckTommy shipper and then share all kinds of convos on Twitter and use the screengrabs to make fun of them and all that crap.

I LOVE Tarlos. This season, season 5, is my first and only season that I've gotten to watch live. I just started watching the show and shipping Tarlos in September. So, I'm way late to the party. Doesn't mean I love them any less, though. <3 For me, I liked Grace and Judd, but Tarlos is my favorite ship and they're my favorite characters. Though I do like many of the others, Tarlos is the main reason I watch.

So I've seen a number of different posts about Kieranpon. An absolutely wonderful au created by @shima-draws and since championed by @angelabsol. It's an wonderful au and a delight when written with Dipplinshipping. We need more though, so I raise you Juliraidon.

There are a lot of ways to accomplish Juliana being either Koraidon or Miraidon but my favorite is that she's Just Like That. Whichever professor you prefer was pulling Pokémon from this tear in space time and out pops one of the two except suddenly it turns into a child. This works for either MC honestly, and is especially fun with twin aus considering the fact there's two Koraidon/Miraidon.

There's just so much untapped potential. The strange sibling dynamic that'd end up evolving between Arven and Julian. The absolute feral glee Nemona would get upon realizing her rival and best friend is actually a Pokémon, you will get Nemona on her knees begging and whining for a battle. If you prefer the angstier side of things you've got the unethical science bits, whichever professor summoned her treating her like a science experiment.

I especially love Juliraidon in the same universe as Kieranpon because you've got shy nervous Kieran who's desperately trying to pretend that no sir he isn't a Pokémon what are you talking about. Meanwhile there's the feral hell lizard who'd shank Arceus for half of a mold sandwich and didn't know what in the world a human even was until a couple years ago.

Personally I'm a fan of Dipplinshipping, but Juliraidon works for way more than just Dipplinshipping and while it might be my favorite I am by all means a multishipper.

I will absolutely keep going with headcanons for this au if someone encourages me.

I ship just about any combo of Emma x Regina x Ruby x Maleficent x Belle. Even Poly ships. I just love the different dynamics you can make with them.

Moon also includes new moon/nexus! Meaning, v4 Eclipse x Nexus? Yup, a flavour of moonchips, and holy fuck do I love v4 Eclipse x Nexus bro- also, v1 x nexus? He could have treated him SO much better. Also also, v2 x moon? Bro, they had a partnership already- like- auwnjsnssdnd AND ASH (eaps moon) X V4?? bro how can I be normal about moonchips-

Nexus x Eclipse x Sol: ... if you know, you know *looks to Zee* we have an au with this ship and it goes crazy bro. again, another au/ship too toxic to relaly yap about on main. But basically Sol abused Nexus and Eclipse and once they leave him they're very dependent on each other. Its a really interesting dynamic and its fun to play around with the characters

LullabyNight: chat, chat hear me out- listen Moon would be able to understand him if he really tried. And they could be sciency together- and experiment because Nexus did say that one time he wasn't sure about his sexuality (which makes sense!! Him questioning his sexuality is actually a nice part of his character arc, since he's not Moon) and Moon said he'd be willing to experiment with someone who was like him?? Bro, they're perfect. Let them kiss

Eclipse x Nexus x Solar (lullabychips, Eclipse², and Solarnexus): obviously my main ship i talk about a lot. Im not asss obsessed over it as I used to be (that is Zees fault, they got me obsessed over other ships <3) but when I rant about characters I think out of all the poly couples, they're best suited for each other. From Eclipse and Solar's moon trauma, to Eclipse and Nexus both being copies of someone else, to Eclipse and Solar both being eclispes. They could all understand each other very well, as well as compliment each other. Plus, cmon, Eclipse has been borderline defending Nexus-

Rumini (ruin x Gemini): a crackship that happened on a thread about who Ruin is shipped with and people were making art for it and I started thinking about it and im obsessed wnsdnsnsd they'd be so great for each other but also terrible. Secretive old man yaoi <3

Obviously just because they're on this list doesn't me I ship ship it (and if it isn't on this list that doesn't mean I dont relaly like it, it just doesn't mean I'm not obsessing over it rn. I really like bloodysun too) The only ones I think would actually be cute and good together are Solar, V4, and Nexus. Or v4 and Ash. I just think toxic ships can be really interesting!! It complicates things in a way that feels more real

Do you HC anything for Eris's love life?

I'm definitely a multishipper when it comes to Eris, and while I love seeing him with Nesta and Azriel, there's just no one else that does it for me like @separatist-apologist's Arina. When I think of Eris in the context of the canon story, it's genuinely so HARD to imagine him with anyone but her (SHE IS REAL TO ME)-- MB has written her into the ACOTAR world as if she's always been there. She just belongs, you know? I love Erina in every story, every AU; Arina's story is so perfectly woven into Eris's while still maintaining her as her own character with such a rich lore and personality, and her own connections to other ACOTAR characters (HUGE fan of any and all interactions she has with Lucien, Helion and Elain especially). She and Eris compliment each other in a way that makes my brain tingle.

Anyway all this to say I love her, I am a simp for her (which I just know Eris would have wanted), and if I don't see a single Arina mention in the next book I will be aggressively pretending she's there anyway

30! only 20 are visible from my profile, though. my older fics and drabbles are quarantined to a separate account, and a few things are posted anonymously.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

113,190 words.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

it’s mostly the locked tomb these days. i also have a few old works for the penumbra podcast, the magnus archives, and the adventure zone—and a few even older works for harry potter and percy jackson, but those are on ff.net so i can pretend they don’t exist.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

it’s familiar (but not too familiar) - fluffy griddlehark time travel fic. this was my first attempt at writing them and i could definitely do a better job now, but the prose still holds up.

alive, barely breathing - post-canon griddlehark first time fic that’s fucked-up and sad. sometimes i look at the comments when i want to feel good about my writing. :3

bring your hunger - post-canon griddlehark grief/relationship study. also a WIP. (honestly, this one might go on anon for a bit—it’s vulnerable in ways i don’t want to explain, and i’m shying away from writing the next chapter because the Fear of Being Known got to me a little.)

it’s not unusual - fluffy modern AU where team 69 go to a bar and play catan. palamedes has an oral fixation, because of course he does. this one is campal with background griddlehark getting-together, but i might write a sequel from harrow’s POV someday.

bad idea right? - modern AU chatfic inspired by this post by eskildit. it’s about camilla dealing with the paldulcie situationship™️ & enduring so much dyke drama thanks to the nature of her friend group. it received a podfic recently, which is fun!

(… i also want to write a camdulcie sequel for this one. i’ve been rotating the idea frequently.)

5. Do you respond to comments?

almost always. there are a few scattered comments i haven’t replied to yet, but i like responding! it’s an excuse to drop more lore about the fic and the writing process, IMO.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angiest ending?

the ace cam fic i haven’t finished yet, which will probably be posted on anon. (i feel like people are going to attack me for poor representation or something, but it’s inspired by my own experiences, so. can’t win them all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

something sweet is pure, uncomplicated fluff, so i guess i’ll go with that!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

not really. i’ve blocked a few people for being rude, but i haven’t gotten hate in years.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

occasionally. i’ve only posted 4 explicit fics, but so far it’s a pretty even mix of f/f, f/m, and other.

10. Do you write crossovers?

i have a tlt/w359 fusion AU i want to pick up again! i need to untangle some threads of the metaplot, though.

(also, the first fic i published on ff.net was a harry potter/rise of the guardians crossover. yes. it was cringe. yes, it’s probably still posted on the internet if you want to find it.)

nope.

yes, actually! a few of my old hp fics were translated into spanish or chinese.

i wrote a round-robin fic with the campal server once. i also started co-writing a fic with quinn a while ago (before we both got busy with school) that i’d like to return to at some point, because the concept still makes me vibrate with glee.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

i’m not sure that i have one, actually? i’m a multishipper to my core.

15. What's one WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

i have so many WIPs in my google docs that i’ll probably never finish.

i’d like to revisit my fic about necromancers & dysautonomia some day, but my writing style has changed so much since then. i might have to rewrite what i’ve posted.

16. What are your writing strengths?

i’m frequently complimented on my worldbuilding. i’m good at examining the implications of things that other people might not think about, so my plots are original even when i’m writing a fandom trope. (i can’t wait to post my harrow nova AU for this exact reason.)

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

sigh. pacing. i write from very close POVs, but sometimes i get too far into the character’s head, and it drags the story down. i’m trying to write sharper prose, but i’m going through an awkward growth phase as a writer—i know the structure i want, but it’s a struggle to get there concisely.

also, i over-edit instead of writing new words, which does me no favors.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i guess it depends on context? i have a pretty good grasp on code-switching from being bilingual but not quite fluent, but the memory of that one klance fic haunts me.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

i mentioned my first published fic earlier, but the first fic i wrote was a percy jackson self-insert fic when i was twelve.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

indelible! cam and pal figure out that dulcinea isn’t who she says she is at the fifth’s anniversary party, but it doesn’t change anything. <3
