Meet the Sub-Zero rebels sweet apothecary and alchemist, (and healer by proxy,) Taaffetite (Aka cupquake or Tiffany)! Now to go into her lore and everything about her.

Tiff used to be in Pink Diamond’s or Lizzy’s court. She was a noble and a great friend of Lizzy, but she never held any serious commanding status. After the news of Lizzy’s shattering, she was distraught and blamed herself for not being there for her friend. She was moved to a different court, but she eventually ran away to Earth. She got herself caught in the middle of a battle, where she was proofed and later corrupted (hence the antlers since her corrupt form looked like a deer). When the Diamonds were mourning together after the war, the tears flowed into a nearby riverbank where Tiff was, and she was returned (mostly) to normal by complete accident. Since everything that happened, she resolved to heal as many corrupted gems as she could, taught herself alchemy, and joined up with the Sub-Zero rebels. She doesn’t get in the heavy fighting action much, but she fights with potions and acid and goes undercover in high-clearance facilities, bringing back valuable data and intelligence. She’s a key player, and I love how her design turned out. Ik she wasn’t major in Shady Oaks, but the team was lacking girls and she never gets enough attention. Plus, she was the fifth person to join the SMP anyway.

(this is not a response to anything, just saying my mind, feel free not to post) it is so, so clear that drantis are the way they are because they think dream is cringe, queer, and ugly. whatever moral reason they are posturizing is the excuse not only for us but so they can make peace with it in their minds. they are so disgusting and the worst part is lots of people are just going to move on and not even acknowledge all this happening.

i completely agree with you. i keep thinking about the fact the original drantis were the neonazi kiwifarms freaks who didnt like that he was so accepting of his queer poc nd etc audience because he's a gamer and the expectation is to uphold the isms and the phobias as a popular male gamer cc, which is why they dug as much shit up from his past as they could to get people to turn against him especially during controversies that could've blown over mildly if his privacy wasnt violated. they didnt like that he empathized with stans, they didnt like that he was remorseful and apologetic when things came out, they didnt like that hes painfully honest and open to discussion. acceptance and understanding of people who are not like you is a major practice that alt right people fuckign hateeeee. at the end of the day i dont know what goes through these people's heads, whether they truly think he's a bad person or if they're overcompensating on the copium because they KNOW he's not, but it really is just fucking pathetic behavior. i agree with your last thing but i hope things go over in dreams favor in the end even if it's naive of me to think that lol

I feel like watching qsmp from jaiden/roier’s perspective late while knowing that Bobby dies makes everything so much warmer. Bobby doesn’t get to hatch, but he’s so loved and cared for even still. It just makes me think that the point of life isn’t to get to the end of it, it’s to love and be loved as much as you can while you’re living it

I actually did make a post about the process!! It's so chaotic and I'm so sorry for that ahsdkjfas but it's here! It didn't show up on my blog at first when I was digging for it, but it does exist haha

BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS- I actually wrote down my entire pattern for Pearl!! She's been done since literally July, but I never posted her because I was planning on making a Tilly to go with her but the one I made was actually atrocious so I was gonna redo her but I waited too long and then forgot about it for four months 😭

Hoping to do a nice photoshoot for her sometime soon, then she'll be posted with her pattern/process too!

(I was on vacation when I finished Joel and Lizzie so we took fancy pictures at some fancy gardens, but I don't actually live in a place with nice foliage-)

And Oli I actually started last week!! Just a basic sketch over a picture of the base doll pattern I use (important part of my process^tm) but hopefully I'll start actually crocheting him soon! He'll get a proper pattern too, don't worry, I'm learning <3

But yeah! Sorry to use your ask as a crochet project update ahsdjkfsa- but progress is actually happening!!!! I'm so excited :D

I hate the concept of "chronically online"

I do understand it's use when it's to talk about people who have lost grasp of reality, normally because they're stuck in an online bubble who exclaims that certain things that aren't really issues are the end of the world and incentivese that person to create harmful habits and act in a, for a lack of better term, bad manner

But most times it's just... a person engaging in a community

I say this because a friend of mine called me chronically online, and when I asked them why I was chronically online their example was "Well, you know what the Mandela effect is"

And yes, I do. But it feels wrong that that would make me Chronically Online, because it implies that there is something wrong with me knowing that.

And I know about it from one random post from years ago, but also from the Mandela Catelogue, which a lot of people here must know because it's the biggest analogue horror series of recent years

And... Idk, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth to imply that there's something wrong with me knowing those things

Is it wrong of me to engage in midia? To watch and enjoy indie series?

Or is it wrong of me to be on an in-joke? Have I lost track of reality because I know what "loss" is?

Or, is it wrong of me to engage in niche online communities? Have I lost sense of reality because I know and can tell you about the Onegaverse? I can also tell you about banana cloning and why banana plantations are so fragile when it comes to disease. Does that make me Chronically On-farm?

In the end I feel like most times Chronically Online it's just used as a new way to shame people who engage in fandoms, like you can't have fun with people who enjoy the same thing as you and know this group's jokes without being wrong and out of touch

Resumed: I think Chronically Online is just a new way to shame people and call them Nerds and Geeks and Freaks for engaging in their hobbies
