I need to ask, is Ellegaard x Olivia (or I guess Axel and Magnus but I've never seen anybody ship that) considered weird because of the age gap and power imbalance? I feel like it could be a very interesting but also very difficult topic to address in a more mature (thematically) AU.

What songs do you associate with your ships (if you associate songs with ships)?

I really like “Everybody Seems to Love You” (by Addison Grace) for Jesskas and “The Other Side” (from the Greatest Showman) for Magnugaard.

I've actually thought about them, while listening to russian song "Можно я с тобой" (Can I go with you) by AP$ENT, but to considering not everyone will understand the lyrics, I'll also put here "Happier" by Marshmello.

Gabrigaard (Gabriel X Ellegaard)

Definitely "I love you like an alcoholic" by The Taxpayers. They have this vibe of couple from 60's, who dance listening to gramophone and being very, very sweet. Though the tragic of the story is that Ellegaard will be the one to die from the WitherStorm.

Ivorren (Ivor X Soren)

"House of memories" by P!ATD. From Ivor's point of view. Nothing more to say.

Magnabriel (Magnus X Gabriel)

"Heather" by Conan Gray. Here Magnus is in love with Ellegaard, so Gabriel wishes to be her.

Jetra (Jesse X Petra)

"Knees" by Bebe Rexha. Probably from Petra's point of view, where she can't stand being in a relationship, where she's forced to stay at one place, instead of having the freedom she wants.

Gavror (Gabriel X Ivor)

"Let me down slowly" by Alec Benjamin. From Gabriel's point of few, basically him begging Ivor not to ruin his life in a matter of second, firstly when Ivor decides to leave him, secondly when he creates WitherStorm.

Aidkas (Aiden X Lukas)

I've talked about them with Captian, but basically it's "I Bet My Life" be Imagine Dragons, where Aiden redeems himself and comes back to Lukas. The song itself shows his way to redemption and how he obviously regrets what he has done to Lukas.

Sorabriel (Soren X Gabriel)

"Hurts like hell" by Fleurie. Aftermath of Soren's run away from WitherStorm, Gabriel is now left all alone to deal with his feelings, unable even to talk to someone about it, since "Hoee can you love a lair?" And it raises a while new storm in him.

VioletCrystals (Romeo X Gabriel)

"Nightmare" by Poylow. The manipulative version of the ship, where it's going from Romeo's point of view, he's very proud of himself trapping The Warrior so easily, using his kind nature and bad taste in men against him.

OceanLove (Fred X Gabriel)

"Someone you loved" by Lewis Capaldi. Do I need to say it? Fred is dead, so Gabriel is sad.

Reggilo (Reginald X Milo)

"Bad dream" by Sarah De Warren. I think it suits pretty well, especially from Reginald point of view, where he can't fully let go of his "guard" self, but at the same time he's trying so hard to do it just to let Milo in. To let him and himself be happy.

Aidill (Aiden X Gill)

"IDFC" by Blackbear. Toxic version, where Aiden kind of a.. cheater, yeah. And since Gill always acts like "the silly one", I see him pretending to not know about this for the sakes of their relationship, because who he is without Aiden?

Sorengaard (Soren X Ellegaard)

"Fairytale" by Александр Рыбак. It's actually really sweet from Soren's point of view, nothing more. Speaking about how they fell apart, but promising to find her anyway.

DeepGlass (Gabriel X Vos)

Couldn't miss the opportunity to add "Faded" by Alan Walker here. Since it's kind about how the other is lost, and it mentions the water a lot, so.. connect the dots.

Ottrian (Otto X Hadrian)

"All I want is you now" by Rebzyyx in a very twisted way from Hadrian's point of view.

Olivetra (Olivia X Petra)

"She likes a boy" by Nxdia. Here's Petra is in love with Jason, so Olivia is left alone to deal with her feelings. Maybe it's something wrong with her?

     "Oh, it's...beautiful," They hummed wistfully, almost jealous of the building prowess clearly displayed here. This was met with a series of muttered agreements between Olivia, Lukas, and apparently the pig.

     "Soren really lived down here?" Lukas wondered aloud, glancing around to admire the ceiling. The group had slowed to a walk now, crossing a large bridge. For once [Y/N] didn't mind being apart of this group. "So far from... anyone." Then Lukas ruined the moment with that comment, making [Y/N] recall their own living situation. They allowed themself to fall a little behind the group.

     "Enchanting, isn't it?" Ellegaard's voice dripped with a sarcasm that the alchemist didn't enjoy, either. They did genuinely find this place enchanting.

     But then they watched as Petra stumbled forward, caught herself in a cough. All others looked at her with concern and she only continued on, pretending it hadn't happened at all. Now all that [Y/N] felt was a building tensity. They hugged around their own elbows as the lot continued up some stairs.

If it was the past... I would probably would have said I like Aiden x Maya more. But now... i would probably lean a bit more towards Aiden x Gill. But I don't really favor these ship all that much so imma put them in 'Like!'.

Romeo x Stella

Okay. So- I always thought this one was interesting! They both want to use each other for their own purpose and eventually falls in love? Even if they don't have the trait they first fell for? The only reason i put this in 'Like!' would be because... destroying someone's entire city?? Uh.... sounds like a crime too big. Yeah.. so if we go that route.... there's no going back.

Petra x Axel

I've considered this as a ship so many times! I just feel like Axel really had a thing for her at the beginning. But it only lasted so long... and my attention for this ship did too- so I give this one a 'Like!'. If the ships are about the new order... I did a little list talking about these so... won't go in too much detail for the ones I already talked a lot about.

Petra x Olivia

...yeah. yeah why not! I think I like yuri. A new discovery. Couldve been a 'Like!' Buuttt.... Well they make a good match. A very calm and chill relationship. I put this one in 'Love!' because... I think I like this one more than the previous one. Also, I saw a few posts about these two and oh- god. That was so freaking adorable!! (Yes. I get influenced easily. But I'm also very stubborn. So... use that to your own will).

Lukas x Axel

In my opinon? They're like a non-toxic version of Aiden x Lukas(my auto correct keeps changing Aidkas to Adidas💀). Taljed about these two as well. They're cute. But I don't think I'd ship them super har- no never mind. I probably would ship them pretty hard. Give them a 'Love!'!!

Xara x Ellegaard

'Like!' I really liked the ship when I first heard of it. But I don't really feel anything other than when I see the work someone made for these two. So- I'll just go with a simple 'Like!' Really do like this one though

Ellegaard x Harper

Similar to the one above... but I feel less when I look at this ship. So I'll give this one a 'Ok'

Harper x Mevia

Ooh interesting... but I can't really think of it as a good ship. I'll give this one a 'Dislike'. Don't think it's a bad ship though

Can really only see them as bros. Nell showed too much friendliness. She is our best bro. Nothing else. I don't make the rules-(I do make the rules here at least)

GABRIEL MCSM x ORIGINS

Next up on the chopping block was Gabriel! When I was first thinking of this AU him being a Dragonborn just FELT right. After 'defeating' The Enderdragon through cheats his body took on the form of a dragon, wings spurting for his back as he's forced a punishment for defeating the Ender Dragon. I imagine that's where all the origins came from for the Order Of The Stone, being the first 5 to turn into these 'monsters'. As punishment for cheating the game it spread throughout humanity, mutating them all into what they are now.

But anyhow Gabriel's design was pretty straight forward, I imagine he feels sort of fatherly? bond for the Egg, funny bit yk. But yeah thats Gabriel! I think I'm going to go for Olivia or Ellegaard up next, might go through all the Order Of The Stone before Olivia and Axel who knows hehe.

Hot take but MAN I really wished there were more artists or just members in general who did more with the female characters from mcsm, and not just all of them just even a handful would be nice because I’m sorry to say this but aside from like a few of them, I really just do NOT care about the male characters in the slightest and that includes male Jesse (except for yellow suspenders, he’s done nothing wrong) like I’m sorry but even if I were to dissect them under a microscope at the end of the day they’re just, there to me.

But the female cast in the other hand, asides from just hating ONE of them, most of them have SO much potential to be used in stuff like AUs or even Fan Art but for most people to blatantly ignore that is INSANE. I think with my mindset being this way since I am in other fan bases (mostly as an observer) where most fans actually pay attention to the female characters (Genshin, Honkai Star Rail, PreCure, Love Live, Idolmaster, or any media with a large amount of female characters in it) and going here is WHIPLASH LIKE EXCUSE ME?

And to bring up shipping, why is that aside from Jesstra most sapphic ships are blatantly ignored for (I’m sorry to say this) Jesskas, the ship that’s the equivalent of stale bread with a glass of lukewarm tap water, not even filtered and crispy. Like the fandom treats the pairing as the holy grail of “perfect” (by making Lukas blander than saltine crackers because we can’t possibly have his sassiness corrupting the innocent green suspenders Jesse (aka making it actually interesting) oh, no, no, no! Thou shan’t be!) like god forbid y’all see someone Maya and Fem!Jesse, Olivia and Petra, Nell and Emily, Harper and Ellegaard (look I know Harper and Ivor are a thing and love them but Harper x Ellegaard is a thing), hell even het ships like Fem!Jesse x Axel, because it’s not your stale white bread of a ship. Like sorry if my insulting this ship but it’s true and cannot hold back anymore.

But besides that I really wish there was more content of the female characters even if it’s just two others and it doesn’t even have to be serious or canon abiding content! Do silly shit, do shit like idk them at the beach, self insert POV or just in different situations whether it’s just for fun or an AU.

MAJOR ARCANA

0 · The Fool - Jesse

No-brainer. They're the protagonist, and the start of the adventure. They even have a small, loyal companion like the Fool.

I · The Magician - Romeo

He uses what is basically "magic" to create anything, even claiming that he did it "for you (Jesse)". Also very manipulative and thinks highly of himself.

II · The High Priestess - Harper

Not sure about this one. I just really wanted to put her somewhere. I guess her intellect and knowledge of redstone works here?

III · The Empress - Isa

I'd say she's kinda mother-like to her people and Benedict. She clearly cares about them.

IV · The Emperor - Hadrian

Aside from being a manipulative asshat, he is LITERALLY named after a Roman emperor. His word seems to be law, as even Otto and Mevia can't really go against what he says.

V · The Hierophant - ?

VI · The Lovers - Ellegaard & Magnus

The card's meaning would be reversed here, AKA the other side of the romance coin. It's implied they had a falling out of some kind, probably related to this. These two are rarely on the same page and constantly argue with each other. They can't even stand each other's presence. Of course, none of this means they don't care about each other, because they definitely do.

VII · The Chariot - Axel

He's a bit headstrong, and there's some moments where he decides to do things himself (especially when Jesse does nothing).

VIII · Strength - Petra & Gabriel

This card represents power as well as willpower. Petra and Gabriel are both great fighters, but have different ideals. She believes that they can overcome anything as long as friends together, but he believes the opposite—thinking that friends will only keep you down.

IX · The Hermit - Soren

Soren is a very isolated person. Currently though, we have no idea where he is so I imagine he's gone to do some soul-searching, like The Hermit.

X · Wheel of Fortune - The Order’s Amulet

This card has a lot to do with destiny and fate. The moment the amulet was given to Jesse, it basically dictated what happened around them (when they lose the amulet they're forced to chase and get it back, the Witherstorm was programmed to follow it and by extension Jesse, etc). It's also shaped like a wheel!

XI · Justice - Xara

This was a tough one. I want to say her because she's very much fueled with revenge against Romeo for what he did to her and Fred.

XII · The Hanged Man - Ivor

You could say Ivor sacrificed his friendship with the Order in exchange for the truth of their legend being exposed... but I'm not sure if that counts. Don't know who else fits this otherwise.

XIII · Death - The Witherstorm

This card represents that a phase of one's life is ending, to make way for the next one. The Witherstorm changes pretty much everyone's lives and Jesse's group has no choice but to face it head on (in this case, destroy it).

XIV · Temperance - Olivia

She's rather mellow compared to her two friends, and always tries to avoid any extreme options in favor of the safer ones.

XV · The Devil - Mevia

Gotta admit, even compared to Hadrian, she's kinda bloodthirsty. She wants suffering just for the hell of it (or "for fun" as she's said). Any other remotely reasonable option be damned. Plus, she's also canonically killed Jesse.

XVI · The Tower - The Command Block

This card is about sudden change or chaos. The whole Witherstorm arc started with the Command Block and ended with it (when it was destroyed by Jesse). You could even say the foundation of the Order started to crumble (like The Tower) once they started using it.

XVII · The Star - ?

XVIII · The Moon - Fred

This one's about mystery. We don't know much about him (can say that for most of the cast), but he's the only character that doesn't show in-game with a physical form. Only as a hologram. Also, they're both blue.

XIX · The Sun - Lukas

He's a nice guy. Not to say he hasn't had his ups and downs, but overall compared to everyone else, he's pretty positive and wants everyone else to feel better.

XX · Judgment - Otto

The only sensible person compared to Hadrian and Mevia. Rules are everything to him and are pretty much the law in his eyes. He even says their fate can be decided by Jesse because it was "fair".

XXI · The World - The Admins (Romeo, Xara, Fred)

It's implied they created and/or govern the MCSM world as we know it.

Friendship trio. What else can I say?

Three of Swords - The Blaze Rods (Aiden, Maya, Gill)

This group was formed out of pure spite for Lukas. They felt "betrayed" by him for hanging out more with the New Order.

My interpretations/selections are probably unfitting, but they're just my personal picks. Tarot cards themselves are really interesting to me, and even though I don't fully understand them yet, attributing to characters is fun and can help me study them.

What is your most hated ship-

From MCSM? I try to be pretty open, but there are some that are a hard no from me:

- Anything with Radar, for obvious reasons. (Implied to be younger than most characters, most likely a teen) Exceptions being Radar x an OC. Don’t mind them as long as they’re not weird about it.

- Cassie and anyone from the Old Builders. Makes me incredibly uncomfortable, not just because of my headcanons.

- Any Idol/Fan, Mentor/Mentee ship (Examples: Jack/Petra, Ellegaard/Olivia, Ivor/Jesse, Radar/Jesse etc.)

- Ships with the Youtubers. Just, no. Most of them are in relationships, married or might even have a family of their own.

Though, I believe those are pretty understandable ships to hate.

Oh sure I do! Those two ships are just some of my favorites and the ones I get asked about the most. If we’re only talking about romantic MCSM ships (because I have a very long list of my favorite platonic ships and brotps) then I also enjoy these ships:

Jesse X Petra X Stella (This one’s kinda new, but it’s been popping up in the tags lately and my god IT’S SO CUTE OH MY GOSH GUYS IT’S SO CUTE.)

Like I said before, these are just romantic ships. I tend to like more platonic and friendship stuff because I’m not the best at writing romance but I LOVE writing platonic friendships. But if I gave you a list of all my platonic ships we’d be here for a long time so I’ll save that for another day. Thanks for asking!
