MCL NG Ep 11 edit (pt 1)

For starters, no, Elizabeth didn't run away in the middle of the date. That was a stupid move from Ysaline. They sat down and ate. Elizabeth complimented Jason's cooking skills and talked about nothing for most of the part, like :

"So, you like cooking?" "Yeah, I do that since I live alone." "Really? That's impressive for a busy CEO." "Haha, yeah. I'm ALWAYS impressive no matter what." "I can see that, especially today"

They stayed up late chatting and Jason offered to take Elizabeth home.

In rest, it went like in the episode, only that Elizabeth's aunt (That's my OC from from the previous season, Alice) knew Violette but couldn't help much with the info.

I not gonna lie, i'm not that invested on the new mcl. I don't know why, maybe because the history is not that interesting for me, kinda forced too (ep 8, i'm looking directly at you). I feel like they are making a speed run of the history, like it happened in the new eldarya and love life, when in the old mcl, it took ages to we even date our crush! Wich is a shame, because i really like my oc for this new "era", but i feel like if i want a deep history, i'm gonna have to make my own. (kinda sound a little to convinced, but i just talking about change some details to my canon universe, this kind of stuff)

I have not much to say about this event (i just got the chance to literally play just Jason's route. lucky me, i guess?). The whole scene matches Marilia very well. They are a sucker for scare stuff, but the funny part? She's a very easy person to scare, and very dangerous because of that, i must say. As they say, "everything can be a weapon if you have courage enough." or this case, scary enough. This is more likely to heapen that it looks.

The clothes are meh, just the witch outfit really got my eyes, but just that one. Ah, and the "Colorful Calavera" outfit, i'm sucker for the Dia dos Las Muertos. Is such a beautiful and significant holiday.

Anyway, i'm planning to do edits more since i got time now, and actually play the game! who knows? maybe i start to like more.

You and Devon were headed to a nice evening at the theater. It wasn’t often that you had the occasion to dress fancy, although since you started dating Devon, you had more opportunities than before. The two of you got ready together in the bathroom, with him lending you a hand whenever you needed help with your outfit or hair. When you sat in the entryway to put your shoes on, he kneeled before you to help. “You don’t need to do all that.” you laughed. But you were now used to Devon’s habit of treating you like a real gentleman. “It’s not because I need to, that I do that, it’s because I want to.” You sighed with a smile on your lips.  You unlocked your car, and the headlights immediately illuminated your steps. You were about to hop into the driver’s seat, but Devon stopped you. “I’m going to drive tonight.” “Why? It’s my car, I’m going to give you a ride.” He took the keys from your hands and led you to the passenger seat. “In heels? I don’t think so.” You looked down at your feet : he wasn’t wrong… You capitulated and let him close the door behind you once you were seated. You spent the short trip talking about theater experiences, which plays you had already seen, which ones you would like to see someday… and it turned out that Devon had already seen quite a few. “I didn’t know you liked theater so much.” you said. “Oh… It started when I went to see one with my class in high school. Some people find it boring because it might be less ‘immersive’ than movies. But I like the dramatic acting, the fact that all the emotions are so vividly portrayed by the actors… It’s like looking at a living piece of art, it’s not necessarily grandiose, but it can move you deeply. It’s breathtaking.” Your eyebrows raised slightly at his description of a play. “Wow… I’ve never imagined it this way, but I guess you’re right.” He chuckled. “Sorry, maybe I went to far.” “No, not at all! The way you describe it is kind of… Romantic? I like it.” His gaze drifted away from the road for a moment, and he smiled at you. You took his outstretched hand and ended the ride in comfortable silence.

Once in front of the massive and beautiful building, you gasped in awe. “Pretty isn’t it?” He said. “You’re kidding me? It’s ethereal! I never went to the theater of the city yet, I didn’t know it was such a beautiful ancient building.” Devon simply smiled at you, offering his arm for you to take. You adopted an exaggerated posture, acting like a noblewoman. “What a gentleman! Thank you sir.” He laughed. “My pleasure milady.” Once seated, you listened to Devon explain what the play was about. It was a tragedy, with its little touch of romance: two people falling in love, the man: an artist, the woman: a simple woman of the working class trying to survive in a century where poverty was the biggest plague. You eagerly followed the act, and never had you understood so well what Devon meant by saying that the dramatic acting heightened his emotions. Everything was so moving and passionate, it gave you goosebumps.You instinctively reached for Devon’s arm and rested your head against it. He welcomed your gesture by adjusting his position slightly to make you comfortable before resting his chin on the top of your head. Entangled, the two of you watched the play with undisguised wonder. When you finally exited the theater, you were still completely shaken by what you had just seen. “What did you think of it?” asked your boyfriend. “It was amazing! I haven’t seen a play this good since... well, Romeo and Juliet?” “It’s a classic that never gets old, don’t worry.” he chuckled “But yeah... my mother didn’t take me to a lot of classic plays. I’ve seen a lot of contemporary ones, though.” “Contemporary plays are good too! Both are always nice to watch from time to time. But I’m glad you liked this one. It’s the second time I’ve seen it, and it still has the same effect on me... like you, in fact: I could never get tired of seeing you.” You giggled like a teenager, your face blushing.  “You can be so cheesy sometimes.” He simply smiled, giving you a fond peck on the cheek.

When the two of you got back home, it was already around 11 PM, almost midnight, and your stomach was rumbling; the evening full of emotions had made you hungry. “Do you want to eat something?” asked Devon. “Oh no, I’ll simply get myself a little snack.” But Devon wasn’t going to let you do it by yourself. He took your shoulders in his hands and gently pushed you to sit on the couch. “No, no, no… I said this evening was for you. Let me fetch you a royal snack as your loyal servant.” He posed like a butler and went to the kitchen while you burst into laughter. “Devon, you’re too much!” “It’s never too much if it’s for you, love.” he winked. You sighed and stretched your legs on the couch. “Would you like an 'after-party aperitif'? There's some guacamole left, with tortilla chips.” “Hmm, yes that sounds good!” you answered. When he finally put all the bowls, glasses and drinks aesthetically in a tray, he put it on the low table of the living room, in front of you before taking a seat beside you while you were removing your feet to make room for him on the couch. You took his cheek in your hands and brushed it with your thumbs, smiling before gently kissing his lips. “Thank you, dear… You’re a real angel.” He chuckled smoothly, giving back the compliment to you with an endearing look. “Everything for you.” You picked a tortilla chips and dipped it in the fresh guacamole with envy and relished the taste with pure joy. “Just what I needed.” He poured the drink he brought in your respective glasses before heading one to you. “Cheers?” he asked. “To us!” He laughed and clinked his glass with yours. The night started and ended really well. The two of you ended up relaxing with your snacks in the living room, the TV on, but you were more focused on the memories you were sharing while chatting.  It definitely was a memorable evening.

❔answering questions: - which club did you pick? I picked the gardening club, because even though in real life I cannot take care of a plant for the life of me (i've tried) i'm even less... skilled, in sports lol. Don't get me wrong I think both things are fun but it's just not my thing.

headcanon time: My Candy signed up for the gardening club, befriended Jade (and had a crush on him at the start of the year) and because she was more a danger than anything in the garden (shenanigans ensue) , she ended up switching clubs, then became representative of her class (I imagine the high school has a lot of students, she's from a different section than the other characters on the first year.) and that's how she ended up befriending Melody and Nath. In the second year, Jade switches schools :c he was one of her best friends there.

oh, don't ask me that :") I'll better give you a list in NO specific order because I really, REALLY can't choose: 17 (bye Debrah), 21 (the play!!!), 23 (nath's house), 31 and 32 (lysander's arc), 33 (iris party) and 40 the finale of course! - which non-datable character you like the most?

Priya wasn't datable in HSL so her lol, also Jade and Dajan are really cool in my mind, even thought they appear in only two episodes for some reason I always include them in my headcanons. Mmm, this is hard lol because I like a lot of characters from different reasons and it's hard to compare them to each other yk. Like, objectively we may feel more inclined to say Rosa or Alexy, but that's because we know them really well. But then there's Iris best girl for example, Leigh is also really nice. And then I have fanon versions of Melody and Karla that, in my mind, make me like them more...

It's tough man, but being honest, probably Amber because yes in HSL she was a BULLY I think, as a character, I really like her, she's compelling to me.

-what do you think of the removal of kentin, armin and lysandre?

because I have had a lot of time to reflect on this, and now we have alternative life and everything, I think it doesn't hit me as much as it did when I saw the news the first time. Of course it's still sad, because reading all the amazing headcanons people have for these three LIs for that season really makes me wish they did something different but hey! I think the new routes weren't as bad as people make them to be, because they constantly like to compare the new v.s. the old routes and that's not the point. The point is for people to have fun, and i've seen fanarts, fanfics and blogs dedicated to Hyun, Rayan and Priya :D also, adding Priya as a love interest IN MY OPINION was a really nice choice, a lot of people liked her before and now being able to date her??? queen, just give me the ring.

-which one is your favorite episode?

I haven't played this season myself, but i've watched the playthrough of it on YT (planetsucrette te adoro) and honestly? episode 15 "Emotional Rollercoaster" HAS to be at least in my top three for this season, yes i'm a nathaniel girlie but idk, all the drama and the build up and the illu!!! ugh it's so good, I really enjoyed watching it and I cannot imagine finishing that episode and have to WAIT for the continuation!!! the intrigue!!!

Also Rosa's story reaaally pulled my heart strings, i'm going to be honest with you, and there's a scene where Candy has this memory box and there's a bunch of photos from High School, and there's one with them and Alexy and the way they narrate that part is just- is fantastic, I loved it a lot. I think it's on ep 11.

-is there something you don't like about this season?

uh... well, for the longest time, I didn't even wanted to know what it was about, mainly because my interest remained in HSL and the fact that 2/3 of my boys weren't even there was not motivation, at all. There's nothing at the top of my head that I have to critique in general. Maybe if I gave it a little bit more thought, but eh, not in the mood.

thanks to a friend who really liked anime :) she was my best friend at the time but I ended up falling in love with the game thanks to roleplaying with two of my best friends in the world + my new bestie because the other one switched schools lol. Now that I think about it, I don't know what her route was xd

Random fact: Those two friends I mentioned? They are both in love with Lysander and are always telling me they are going to steal him from me JAJAJAJA. All of us are head over heels for Armin though. One of them is Kentin's route and Castiel's route (yes, the complete opposites lol) and the other one loves Castiel TO DEATH. Also, my IRL bestie is also Castiel route and uh, quick question: Why does EVERYONE I know love Castiel while the dude literally hates ME? I'm saying like, in every damn account he always manages to be my LOWEST lom. Wanna know why? because I always befriend Nath.

and that's the end :))) If you've read any part of this uh, thank u??? I started writing this tag as a fun silly activity but I ended up getting invested and thinking more about my silly AU. Also, you may have noticed I just call my candy "Candy" and that's not because they don't have names, but the reason is because they are my real names and I don't feel comfortable sharing them online!

I've tried to search for synonyms of my names to use for them, but they just don't feel like me and at the end of the day, My Candy Love is supposed to be played from your perspective and so, yes my candys have different personalities and dynamics with the characters but idk, they are based around me and so giving them other names doesn't really work for me??? it's a matter of preferences I guess.

i'm really fond of this game, but it's a part of me that i only get to talk openly about here on tumblr or with those 2-3 friends, so writing all of this was a sweet experience.

I don't know how to start (and sorry if I have any grammar or spelling mistakes, my english is not the best and I might use google translate to help if necessary). So... I honestly didn't have many expectations on this new game but I was like "let's see and decide" and at first I was really dissapointed because of the prices of the bank outfits and the VIP pass (which I am considering in purchaising only if I really love the outfit). But... I am enjoying the game at this point for these reasons:

1.- Taki

Taki was the reason I decide giving this game a chance because I love Eldarya and I always wanted the chance to dress the companions ( but it's understandable that it isn't possible since there are a lot of them). I know some players don't like Taki, but I really love him/her and I love it's sound and animations.

2. The messages

When I discover that the love interests where going to send messages to us after the episodes if we are up to date with them I was like "weeeeell, I supose I'm not receiving any messages since I am not planing on in-game purchasing so I might not be up to date with the episodes" (I was SO wrong btw).

I really love this because it give me a little of Mystic Messenger vibes, but I hate that there is a timer which ironically also reminds me of MM.

3. The games

- Style contest: I like it because I it as an opoortunity to get hearts, gems and APs -playing AND voting. I LOVE that we can share items to other players and vice versa. The only thing I don't like are the themes (they are the same always) and I am still trying to win "Green with envy" dressing my newcrette as Melody from the original MCL 😭

- The other game whose name I don't remember even in spanish: just to say i don't like that the times to wait are too long and that it makes me remember Eldarya and I am still sad because the game died T-T

4. Jason and Thomas

So... I was really interested in him before the game was released but I was dissapointed with some of his actions in the first four episodes. But I really love the 🌶️ tension in the last episode.

Anyway, I allready fell for Thomas and he is soooooo cute. i can't and will not betray him.

But... I am still interested in see what will happen with the ones who will choose to make a "deal" with Jason. And I really hope it ends in a really really REALLY bad ending. Because I really need that possibily of having a bad ending in the game. It makes the game for interesting (at least for me).

Anyway. That's all (I think). I am not used to use tumblr and I even forgot my password and had to change it.

❣️What I love about NewGen❣️

I never win anything (and I've never posted anything on Tumblr before), but I'll try my luck, because if I don't even try, I can't win!

I started playing MCL (Sweet Amoris in my case) in early 2015 after coming across the game by chance. At first I just wanted to try it out, but because I immediately fell in love with the game, I stayed and almost 10 years later I'm still here playing NewGen!

❥ I love the forum!

I loved it on MCL and Eldarya (I still do!) and I love it on NewGen! It's so cool to meet people who have the same interests as you. I also love reading fanfics and admiring fanart. It's incredible how talented some players are!

❥ I love Jason!

When I saw the new LI's (which at the time were Amanda, Thomas, Roy and Devon) for the very first time, I thought they were all nice to look at, but as far as descriptions went, no one really seemed to fit me. I figured my Candy would probably date Thomas, because he seemed the most appealing to me, but then Jason came along and I was hooked! I'm a fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope and Jason is also just incredibly good looking. His light strands of hair and his blue eyes are so beautiful! When I met him for the first time in the episodes, it confirmed to me that he is the right choice for my Candy. The interactions with him are great and I can never wait to meet him again!

❥ I love that you get a text message from the LI's after every episode!

It's a very cool idea and I'm always curious to see what the LI's write. Jason's messages in particular make me laugh every time.

❥ I love putting outfits together for my Candy!

I love dressing up my Guardian and my old Candy and also love dressing up my new Candy. Unfortunately, I don't own any packs in NewGen yet, so I'm a bit limited when it comes to clothes. That's why I would be even happier to win the E-Girl pack! The boots and belt in particular suit my taste perfectly and my Candy would rock them so much! I've always wanted headphones like these in real life, so it would be cool to be able to see my Candy wear them!

❥ I love that when you save an outfit, the LI's comment on the "post"!

It's so funny to see the emojis!

❥ I love that you can decorate Candy's room yourself!

It makes the whole thing even more personal and that's great. It makes me feel much more like I'm playing my own Candy than it would if the room wasn't to my taste!

❥ Last but not least: I love the outfit competitions!

Due to the lack of packs, it's not always so easy for me to put together an outfit that fits the theme, but I always do my best! Unfortunately, I've never been on one of the podiums, but at least I've come 5th before with the outfit you see above. Even if things don't always go so well for me, I really enjoy admiring the other users' contributions. It's amazing what you can do with relatively few pieces of clothing! I've already seen cosplays and other incredibly creative combinations!

Chiefs – In the other camp, the Chiefs have lost hooker Samisoni Taukei’aho to a leg injury sustained in the semifinal against the Hurricanes last weekend. Tyrone Thompson will get his first start of the season as a result as he packs down between Ross and Dyer. The only other change to the starting lineup comes in the back row, with Daniel Rona dropping to the bench, Etene Nanai-Seturo shifting out to the left wing, and Shaun Stevenson joining the 15 at fullback. Manaaki Selby-Rickit comes in on the bench as second row cover.

MCL NG ep 7 edit (pt 2)

HC time:

So here Avery's reason for moving is sort of the same as Elizabeth's: they want to have their own space. For Avery, it's not so urgent to move because they enjoy their roommate's company but they just decide to try it out.

They were surprised when everyone offered to help them find a new place to stay. They liked Thomas' idea was good because Avery also likes modern stuff.

Their pretending to be a couple to get the apartment was a funny idea for Avery and also was a chance to get closer to Thomas. The way he acted a bit too much made Avery almost giggle in from of the real estate agent. And Thomas seemed to enjoy it as well earlier saying that he enjoyed lying like this and playing pretend. (psycho a bit)

Their interview went well and Avery really felt like they were dating. Avery insisted they're referred to as Miss and Mr. Bates because they liked Avery's name more. Thomas even said that he's very in love with Avery which made them blush and for a second actually believe him.

Also the whole "nothing is really functioning in the house yet" made both Thomas And everyone a bit annoyed and Avery started to reconsider.

Atlas, Thomas saying something like "We forgot to do our thing" and then going with a bold kiss really impressed Avery and they almost broke out their usual self for a moment.

After that, Avery didn't feel like taking this apartment and was like "Be more informed next time" to the real estate agent. Thomas saying that he was willing to do this again got avery a bit surprised. They don't really understand what is going up through Thomas's head.

And so, they just went back to work.

I could really imagine candy wearing one of those to a date with Nath. Cute with a touch of rebellion. I miss those days, our date outfits were some cute, girly outfits. Really liked the style of the first outfits!

I would also like some wide skirts, oversize sweaters, normal T-shirts with prints and low waist jeans.

Edit: [My Opinion] I think some confuse Nathaniel and Castiel. Nath isn’t a rocker or a delinqent/evil, it actually seems, he wanted to protect Amber all along. Also, Nath-Route hasn’t always same clothes as Castiel. They share only 2 in 15 Episodes, as he does share 2 with Rayan and Hyun (!). Also he shares 1 with Pia. Rest he has one alone or even none. It’s kinda mixed up in UL, so I don’t think, it’s impossible to state, what their preferences are only by Date Outfits. (I like your goth suggetions, tho!)
