how the blue theme matches her eyes, the little bat wings as the headpiece, the rolled-up sleeves (yes most of her skins have rolled-up sleeves now but still), the uneven pant length, and the bracelet with the cancer awareness ribbon. she IS the moment.

Rewatching mcc25 pink parrots for the hundredth time. Truly the most team ever

MCC 25 is the best team for the vibes. The vibes in question are "dangerously close to describing fully and in detail the act of intercourse" but in their defence it's hilarious.

I'm so sad Wilbur isn't on MCC anymore (and so isn't Grian besides non canon events apparently) because Wilbur really did bring the worst in Grian and watching those two interacting makes me so happy but also makes me want jump off a building out of embarrassment. It's great.

This team has the added factor of Scott which makes the suggestive jokes even more common and then the only one that could save us from all that would be Phil unfortunately Philza 1. Isn't a saint 2. Cannot not say curse words every 10 minutes which makes him at risk of being lazer beamed by Grian.

MCC Kick Off Aqua Axolotls Skins!

If this is the first post you’re seeing of mine, hi! I have made a lot of CaptainSparklez’ team’s skins, ever since MCC14 (links: MCC15, MCC16, MCC17, MCC18, MCC19, MCC21, MCC22, MCC23, MCC24, MCC25, MCC28, MCC30, MCC31, MCC32, MCC33, MCC34, MCC Party, MCC35). On occasion I’ve also made skins for other teams, such as the Red Rabbits of MCC Rising. Feel free to share this, just tag this post so that it links back to me. Thank you! Ok, more below the cut.

Yeah so I'm back to not really shading. I forgot my previous method of shading until just now. I'll have to try it again next time because I'm certainly not going back to fix it now.

MCC Kickoff is on May the 4th so of course I had to do Star Wars themed skins. They're force ghosts! I thought it worked well with the whole aqua thing. But I do realize it's a pretty radical coloring so I did make alternate skins which are not blue.

Personally I prefer the force ghosts though. Oh and yes, I did still include an axalotl on the back. Admittedly this is probably one of those times where I shouldn't have but it's a trademark. Have to be consistent.

Okay, onto individual breakdowns.

Starting with PeteZahHutt. Originally I was only going to make PeteZahHutt a jedi. But I liked it so much I ended up doing it for the entire team. PeteZahHutt's jedi outfit is most based off of Obi Wan's outfit.

Next up, fWhip. fWhip has short boots and a longer coat. fWhip also lacks the tabbard (I think that's what it's called?) that PeteZahHutt has. Also, the collar is more symmetrical. Fun fact, it was while working on this skin that I decided to make them force ghosts.

Mythicalsausage has armor. Originally the chestplate was actually longer but it didn't really look right without a belt. So I made it shorter and added a belt. The wrist gauntlets are also a bit of a stealth reference to the fact that Mythicalsausage often has a pipboy on his regular skins. I tried it without the symmetry but it didn't look as good.

And finally, CaptainSparklez, who gets a vest overcoat thing. I would say it's probably closest to Anakin's outfit? CaptainSparklez and Mythicalsausage have lighter cloaks than fWhip and PeteZahHutt. Oh and CaptainSparklez has a shorter cloaks.

I can't exactly explain why I like Scar/Joel but I'll give some sparknotes:

-Scar likes to call Joel, someone who infamously lashes out if you call him short, BigBeans and I find that adorable

-Last Life. They wanted to be wizards together on magical mountain, but Joel spent most of his time on red. Yet still Scar wanted to reach out to him. They just couldn't be together, even though they really wanted to

-MCC! They're really fun when they team up. I think it was when they won as Green Geckos in MCC25 that they got dubbed Team Top Gun or smth because they both like top gun. This is barely a reason, I'm just vaguely waving in a direction

-I just see potential that could be fleshed out. And I like potential. Something abt known charmer and flatterer Scar and validation desperate Joel scratches my brain.

-Scar asked Joel if he grew up in a closet. I still giggle when I think abt it

nods nods the wizards thing from last life makes sense I totally forgot about that. and now im disappointed in myself cus that was one of the first things I thought was very. show not tell storytelling in the life series (that they both agreed on being "wizards" with the robes and everything but scar acts more like a shifty magical being with the crystals and use of lava buckets and joel just. hits people with an axe)
