Company Registration in India: Lay the Foundation for Long-Term Success with Bizsimpl
Tumblr media
Starting a business is exciting — but turning your idea into a legally recognized company? That’s the real first step. In India, Company Registration is more than a legal formality; it’s the launchpad that opens up opportunities for credibility, funding, and sustainable growth.
Whether you’re a first-time entrepreneur or an experienced founder starting your next venture, working with a reliable partner like Bizsimpl makes all the difference. With seamless online processes, pan-India service, and expert support, Bizsimpl helps you register your company in India the right way, from day one.
In this blog, we’ll explore unique aspects of company registration, why timing matters, how it impacts branding, investor confidence, and how Bizsimpl positions your business for long-term success.
Why Timing Your Company Registration is Crucial
Many entrepreneurs delay company registration until they’re "ready" — with a team, funding, or MVP. However, waiting too long can create roadblocks:
You can’t open a business bank account without registration.
You can’t legally sign client contracts.
You miss early-stage protections like brand ownership.
Registering early with Bizsimpl allows you to secure your business name, protect your intellectual property, and build legitimacy from day one.
🔑 Pro Tip: A registered company also signals professionalism, helping you gain trust from vendors, co-founders, and customers early in the game.
Protecting Your Brand Starts with Company Registration
Your business name is one of your most valuable assets. Unfortunately, if you don’t register your company, someone else can.
By initiating the company registration process, Bizsimpl helps you reserve and legally protect your desired company name through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). This ensures:
No other business can use your name.
You can apply for a matching domain name and social handles.
You create a consistent, professional brand identity from the beginning.
In the age of online branding and digital marketing, this first step can save you a lot of legal trouble later.
Boosting Investor & Customer Confidence
Whether you’re applying for funding or trying to close your first big client, having a registered business adds immediate credibility.
Investors don’t fund unregistered entities. Clients don’t sign contracts with individuals. But when your business is legally incorporated, you:
Become eligible to receive equity or debt funding.
Can enter into legal agreements with vendors and customers.
Appear more structured, stable, and trustworthy.
Bizsimpl helps you get registered fast so you never have to miss out on opportunities due to paperwork delays.

Virtual Offices in Noida’s SEZs: Tax Perks & Credibility for Small Businesses
Tumblr media
Noida’s rise as a business hub has been significantly driven by its Special Economic Zones (SEZs), particularly in areas like Sector 62, 63, and Noida Expressway. These dedicated zones aren’t just clusters of office buildings—they are policy-backed ecosystems that offer numerous advantages for businesses, especially those involved in IT, exports, and consulting. Now, thanks to the evolution of flexible workspace models, even startups, freelancers, and remote-first businesses can tap into these zones—without renting a physical space—through a virtual office in Noida.
In this blog, we’ll explore why SEZs in Noida are an increasingly popular choice for virtual office setups and how entrepreneurs can benefit from tax incentives, credibility, and more—without burning a hole in their pocket.
What Is an SEZ, and Why Is It Important?
A Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is a specifically delineated duty-free enclave deemed to be outside the customs territory of India. Businesses operating from SEZs enjoy several incentives, including tax breaks, relaxed regulatory norms, and better infrastructure. The goal? To boost exports, foreign investment, and employment.
Noida is home to multiple SEZs, including:
SEZ in Sector 144 (IT/ITES Zone)
SEZ in Sector 135 (Expressway corridor)
SEZ in Sector 62/63 (software technology parks)
These zones have attracted multinational corporations, tech startups, and export-focused service firms—and now, virtual office providers are helping smaller businesses get a slice of this strategic location too.
Why Choose a Virtual Office in a Noida SEZ?
Renting office space in Noida’s SEZs can cost upwards of ₹40,000–₹1 lakh per month depending on size and location. But many virtual office providers now offer SEZ-compliant business addresses at a fraction of that cost—sometimes as low as ₹1,500/month.
So why are companies opting for a virtual setup inside these zones?
1. Access to Tax Incentives
Businesses that operate from SEZs may be eligible for:
Income Tax Exemptions under Section 10AA of the Income Tax Act for eligible units
No GST on exports of services or products
Faster customs clearance for those dealing in physical goods (though most virtual office users are service-oriented)
For startups offering software, digital services, consulting, or IT exports, having an SEZ-based address can enhance both compliance and benefits during tax filing.
2. Boosted Credibility
A Sector 62 or 135 SEZ address on your business card or invoice can add instant professionalism—especially when dealing with international clients or government departments. It signals that your company is part of a structured, policy-driven business environment.
3. Ease of GST and Company Registration
Most SEZs in Noida are fully authorized for GST registration and MCA incorporation, provided your virtual office provider is SEZ-registered. This enables you to receive official documentation like:
Rent agreement
NOC (No Objection Certificate)
Utility bill
—all essential for registration and bank account setup.
4. Flexibility Without Long-Term Lease
A traditional SEZ lease may require you to commit to years and pay a hefty security deposit. A virtual office, on the other hand, allows monthly billing, scalability, and easy exits—perfect for early-stage companies or consultants who want to test markets before going all in.
Who Should Consider a Virtual Office in Noida’s SEZs?
While large corporations continue to anchor these zones, there’s an emerging wave of smaller, agile businesses making the most of SEZ virtual addresses:
IT service exporters
Freelancers working with overseas clients
Startups building software-as-a-service (SaaS) products
Consultants in finance, legal, HR, or engineering
Marketing agencies catering to offshore clients
If your revenue model includes international billing, foreign clients, or platform-based product offerings, an SEZ address isn’t just beneficial—it may be your competitive edge.
How Virtual Office Providers Operate in SEZs
A reliable virtual office provider in a Noida SEZ will:
Own or lease commercial real estate within the SEZ
Be approved by relevant SEZ authorities for offering business correspondence services
Issue proper documentation for use in legal, financial, and government matters
Common services include:
Dedicated business address with mail/courier handling
Optional call-answering or receptionist services
Access to meeting rooms (on-demand basis)
GST-compliant billing and SEZ-approved registration
Some premium providers also include startup support, legal assistance, and branding consultation—ideal for solo founders or small firms.
Cost of Virtual Offices in Noida SEZs
Here’s what you can typically expect:
Entry-level plans: ₹999–₹2,499/month
GST registration & documentation packages: ₹3,000–₹5,000 (one-time)
Optional add-ons: Call forwarding, dedicated phone line, workspace usage, etc.
Compared to ₹40,000+ per month for renting even a 100 sq. ft. cabin in a SEZ, the value proposition of virtual offices is clear, especially if you don’t require a daily desk.
Common Misconceptions: SEZ Virtual Offices vs. Regular Virtual Offices
Let’s bust a few myths:
Myth 1: SEZ addresses are only for exports or IT giants. Truth: As long as your business provides services that could be exported (even digitally), you can qualify.
Myth 2: You can’t register for GST using a virtual SEZ address. Truth: You absolutely can—just make sure your provider offers proper legal documentation and is SEZ-compliant.
Myth 3: SEZ-based virtual offices are expensive. Truth: While a bit more premium than regular virtual plans, the tax benefits and brand credibility often outweigh the small added cost.
Tips for Choosing the Right SEZ Virtual Office in Noida
✅ Check SEZ Accreditation: Make sure the address and provider are recognized by the Noida SEZ authority.
✅ Verify Registration Support: Can they help with GST, startup incorporation, etc.?
✅ Ask About Location Specifics: SEZs are large—prefer addresses in IT/ITES zones like Sector 135 or Sector 62.
✅ Clarify Cancellation Terms: Month-to-month flexibility is crucial, especially for new ventures.
Real Use Case: A Consultant’s Leap with a SEZ Virtual Office
Mehul, a freelance data analytics consultant working from his home in Noida, landed a project with a U.S. fintech firm. When they asked for a registered Indian GST invoice, he had no clue where to start. Through a virtual office provider in Sector 135’s SEZ, he registered for GST, got a professional business address, and now invoices in dollars—with zero customs or GST issues.
His effective monthly cost: ₹2,000. His credibility? Priceless.
Final Thoughts
In the fast-evolving landscape of Indian business, flexibility is key—but so is strategy. A virtual office in Noida located inside an SEZ brings the best of both worlds: operational cost savings with the strategic perks of an elite business zone.
Whether you're a solo consultant looking to attract global clients, a startup needing GST registration, or a SaaS founder eager to scale from a policy-backed location, SEZ virtual offices are worth exploring.
Prestige, compliance, and tax advantages used to be exclusive to big firms. Not anymore. With SEZ-based virtual office solutions now accessible to lean teams and ambitious freelancers, your next big move might just start with a small monthly subscription—and a powerful address.

to be clear also I'm not defending quacks, I am calling out ableism.
going to the reiki trained chiropractor lady I sent to for two years drastically reduced my chronic pain & helped with my CPTSD mood swings by doing minor postural adjustments and touching my face and head in specific spots. I went from constant wrenching back pain to being "graduated" from needing a chiropractor at all. did this help my MCAS or eliminate my depression? no. But I was not looking for medical salvation, just preventative healthcare and to learn how to manage my posture, energy & breath better. so I can function at all. I can now most of the time walk myself back from, for example, the EDS dislocations that come from sleeping funny or sitting wrong or falling down, by practicing what she taught me. I don't trap stress and trauma in my body as much when it happens, I can move energy through my body better by breathing and movement, I know better when my body is signalling to ask for help or stretch or shake, etc. Chiropracty (loosely tied back to practices such as bonesetting), yoga, tai chi, etc help w maintaining awareness and flexibility in your animal body.
So YEAH. don't ask the essential oils to treat cancer. Understand they may help quell your nausea or give you a minor immune system boost. Or maybe they don't. Human biochemistry is incredibly individual and complex.
the problem with quackery is acting like shit is magic, or one size fits all.
for example, acai is good, and has a lot of vitamins in it, yes. It's Orientalism exoticism that got it labelled a "magical" superfood.
L-Theanine and lions mane supplements along with remediating my iron, D3 and vitamin B12 deficiencies have made a difference in the amount of brain fog and fatigue I experience. They have not eliminated it.
If any supplement, practice or program claims to be a "cure" be wary of it - this is playing on the emotions of people with chronic health conditions.
Lots of stuff doesn't have a cure. But you can assist your body in managing it's symptoms with "alternative" medicine and see viable results.

Hello,
You've probably encountered this issue before, but I just wanted to amplify what Electrolux/Frigidaire is doing with their front-loading washing machine door gaskets. I got a new washer, and discovered too late that the company is soaking these big rubber seals in smelly oil-based deodorizer, or just baking it into the rubber during the manufacturing process - who knows. This is presumably an attempt to counteract the smell of mildew and mould that will grow on the seal if you don't take care of it. (Electrolux, probably not coincidentally, is facing a class-action lawsuit for bad door gasket and internal drainage design that lets their washing machines and door gaskets fill with black mould very quickly.) The deodorizer Electrolux is using is from that horrible new family of long-lasting, oil-based fragrances that never go away and can't be removed with anything short of a flamethrower. I don't know if other washing machine companies are also doing this, but I'll find out soon enough when I return this evil contraption that has me wheezing like a chimney, with kleenex stuffed up my nose, regardless of inhalers and antihistamines. This deodorizer doesn't actually have a very strong smell, but the potency of the allergens that it's off-gassing is unbelievable. It also gets into your clothes...I still don't know if I'm going to be able to get the smell out of the first load I did, before I realized what was going on.
I don't have the audience to get the word out to people with allergies and fragrance sensitivities that these machines can harm them, never mind what it will cost in both time and money to replace, should they buy one.
Electrolux being bastards strikes again. Ugh, thanks for letting me know. We had SO many problems with our old machine and the door gaskets. And I am zealous about cleaning the machines, so it wasn't just a lack of cleaning that was making them moldy.
I am so sorry you ended up being exposed to that. Hopefully you'll be able to get the smell out of your clothing :/

More CaW thoughts…
I just got diagnosed with MCAS, aka Mast Cell Activation Disorder (which is both a relief due to the face I now know I don’t have a bunch of different diseases, just one with a bunch of different symptoms; and kinda disappointing because there’s no fix for it so we have to treat the symptoms anyway), and now I can’t help but think of the Cedar Allergy and Denge Fever episodes. My Mast Cells are too busy bothering me to do their job properly, which is annoying.
Anyway, I’m wondering what life for cells would be in a body that’s unhealthy not due to outside factors like in Code Black, but due to genetic issues like mine or other auto-immune stuff. The kind of thing that’s always been there and can’t be fixed. I sort of want to apologize to my cells that they are stuck in this mess alongside me. I mean, it’s no one’s fault, my genetics are just crap.
Don’t mind my rambling, I just had thoughts and needed to share them with someone who knows CaW…
Oh my, I’m sorry to hear that. At the very least, you now know the problem and what you can do to alleviate symptoms. I haven’t heard of MCAS before, but I have faith that you’ll pull through it.
For a body that has been afflicted by an autoimmune disease or something similar, I believe that in CAW-verse, it can be portrayed as the immune system rebelling against the body, or misinterpreting signals, or just not knowing what to do. Like you said, it’s all genetics in your case, so perhaps when the cells begin to divide and differentiate from hematopoeisis, the macrophages were either not trained properly or given weird directions.
I’m not sure if I’m saying that correctly considering I’m not familiar with the disorder, but I think it fits.
Don’t apologize to your cells, it’s definitely not your fault or your cells’ fault either. It’s just how the wind blows in nature. As long as you move forward and treat your condition accordingly, you’ll live in harmony. Stay positive and don’t give yourself a hard time about it, okay? Laughter boosts the immune system so don’t be too down about it.
Thanks for the thoughts and I hope that you have a wonderful day!

Histamine Intolerance Treatment And The Role Of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms
Tumblr media
Histamine intolerance treatment must go beyond treating just the symptoms!
Histamine is the itchiest molecules in our body!  When histamine is released in the skin, its job is to dilate blood vessels causing redness to the skin, swelling, and of course itching. In the nasal mucosa, it causes a runny nose, sneezing, and that stuffy feeling we just cannot stand during allergy and cold/flu season.
But what happens if histamine is over released or cannot be cleared out of the system? Typically occurring in women (due to the relationship of estrogen with histamine) this issue can be devastating and life altering.  We are going to go in-depth and discuss an under-diagnosed condition called Histamine Intolerance. This is not an approved medical diagnosis as of yet so it doesn’t have an ICD-10 code nor does this get taught in conventional medical schooling.
Why could that be? There are many new tests and technologies that have emerged to help identify and treat patients with aims to treat the cause of symptoms rather than matching a drug to turn off a patient’s symptom(s).  Naturopathic and Functional Medicine is quickly becoming the saving grace to people who have these unexplained symptoms or who have been lumped into garbage bucket diagnoses called syndromes such as POTS, MCAS, IBS, Fibromyalgia, and so many more.
Human physiology is a complex interaction of the inherent genetics as expressed by the individual given environmental conditions and cellular aging. To begin understanding the framework in which we will grasp this complex information, we will start with the basics. Now, if you are more advanced in cell biology or physiology, please use this as a friendly review.
Genetics
Genes are the “sentences” within our DNA that code for proteins.  There are other segments within our DNA that act as spacers, modifiers, and bookends to the plethora of “sentences” in the code; totaling over 23,000 genes.
Depending on the signals to the genes within the nucleus of our cells and mitochondria, certain genes are turned on and off accordingly.  The environment, thoughts, hormones, diet, exercise, infection, etc. are all factors that signal genes to turn on/off.
Every cell is on a certain cycle of growth, rest, and programmed death called apoptosis (a healthy cell). Turning on and off genes is done by a process called methylation.  This is the movement of a single carbon and 3 hydrogen atoms called a methyl group (CH3) on or off of a gene’s switch.
Methylation is not solely for gene switching, but for other incredible functions within the body and metabolism.  This modification of gene expression is called Epigenetics.  Epigenetics happens in an individual and can be passed down from grandmothers to their grandchildren. Let’s take a deeper dive into all of these functions.
Methylation
Methylation is the process of transferring a single carbon group to other larger molecules. There are enzymatic pathways that produce intermediate agents such as SAMe, and these in turn provide the necessary cofactors for other enzymes to function. Neurotransmitter, nucleic acid, amino acid, and hormone synthesis as well as lipid breakdown, heavy metal detoxification, and other elimination pathways all need this important process to work properly.
Histamine Intolerance Treatment And Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP’s)
As stated previously, genes are like a sentence, composed of many letters and phrases.  But what happens when a single letter changes in the sentence “The dog dug a hole” to “The dug dug a hole”?
This can create a problem with the function of the final protein.  There are structural changes that are impacted from mutations such as the collagen disease called EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), classically characterized by varying degrees of hyper-flexible joints and elastic skin; or the “poster child” of the SNP world called the MTHFR mutation impacting the way in which we use folate (B9) and B12.
Many mutations can have no impact at all, some very little, and some quite severe in symptomatology. Other mutations in the genetic code that are even more severe cause death of the embryo and the pregnancy will end by the 10th-12th week in miscarriages.
Some mutations can give special advantages to an individual and if that has a natural benefit over another in a given population, that gene is passed on.  Over time in a given population, this will increase in frequency, and we call this evolution.
SNPs are very common so please do not think that you are a mutant, in fact we all are.  However, if an individual is having difficulties with their health that are beyond what classically are taught in medical school, these people often go many years or decades with dysfunction.
Hence there is a need for better education, awareness, and continued research to discover more about SNPs and their function.
Histamine
From the parent amino acid histidine, histamine is a very important signal within the body. In the figure below, you can see It has a function in just about every organ and tissue within the body.
Histamine is broken down by 2 enzymes:
            1. DAO (diamine oxidase)
            2. HNMT (histamine N-methyltransferase) SAMe cofactor dependent
The term histamine intolerance is better understood by a problem with the consumption of and release of excess histamine compounded with the body’s difficulty in regulation and breakdown of this signal.  As mentioned above, there are many different minor causes that can compound synergistically creating a variable level of symptomatology.
CASE STUDY:
A 39-year-old female presents to the clinic with a 30 year history of symptoms including joint laxity, headaches, brain fog, dizziness, and heart palpitations.  She has had many cardiologists, neurologists, rheumatologists, and even psychological counseling to treat the plethora of symptoms and give her diagnoses of the syndromes known as POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)and MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome). She was given Botox for her migraines, cardiovascular medications to control her heart rate, and drugs to keep her other histamine symptoms in check.
Upon analysis of her genetic SNPs, numerous genetic polymorphisms were identified impacting her ability to utilize B12, Folate, and B6 thereby decreasing her ultimate production of SAMe.  Furthermore, the COMT enzyme which degrades neurotransmitters was also affected. When COMT is altered, it speeds up the clearance of noradrenaline and adrenaline.
Once identified, strict elimination of certain supplements and foods containing these ingredients was recommended along with the necessary end products of the metabolic cycles to aid in the ultimate delivery of what she had been deficient in for all these years. Her two week follow up was astonishing, as she reported her “lights went on” for the first time.
Her husband noticed the change within days of initiating the protocol and she had to decrease her cardiovascular drugs because they became too strong.  She is now one-month post treatment start date and holding strong with increased energy, mental alertness, muscle strength, and of course a vitality boost that has given her the confidence and strength to contemplate returning to the work force versus going on permanent disability.
Summary
People who are afflicted with horrible symptoms do not have to be!  There is an underlying cause that needs to be discovered.  If one doctor doesn’t have any idea, keep searching.
Not all doctors are created equally, and with new research that comes out continuously, the reality of the way things are will get better.  If you have been told you are crazy, lazy, or have a rare syndrome, STOP and seek out a doctor who will listen to you and get to the bottom of it ASAP.

TW: MEDICAL TRAUMA AND GASLIGHTING- UK FRIENDS, PLEASE HELP
Hey, this is a long shot, but do I have any followers in the UK--specifically Scotland, but I’ll take anywhere--diagnosed with MCAS/D with a doctor they can recommend?
My younger disabled brother who I share a lot of health problems with has just been hospitalized at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (aka 'the Death Star') for symptoms consistent with a prolonged MCAS flare. He's hardly eating, he's got undiagnosable bladder pain, blinding headaches, worsening allergies, and his skin/eczema is so bad he’s at risk of sepsis and losing his eyesight because he’s been left to claw himself raw with chronic urticaria near his eyes that has been brushed off for years as “anxiety.” (Which he was then prescribed diazepam for and nothing else 🙃)
When my mother brought up my MCAS diagnosis over here in the US and how similar my brother’s symptoms and reactions are, the attending doctor said that MCAS “isn’t real” and won’t even prescribe famotidine for what my brother is describing as “suffocating acid reflux”—presumably because this doctor is now on some sort of bruised ego trip over my mother questioning his prognosis that my brother is suffering from anxiety and “a lack of personal hygiene.”
(My brother is severely disabled, and my elderly mother has to bathe and dress his wounds daily, just like she’s been doing for the last 32 years since he was born. This is not a lack of personal hygiene this is a lack of medical care!!!)
My mother is trying her best, but she’s got her own health problems and suffers severely from her own medical trauma, which is making advocating harder. They do have an appointment to see a dermatologist on Friday, but considering it's at the same clinic that said my chronic urticaria was also anxiety (🙃), we're not holding out much hope.
I've managed to find him some OTC meds that might help stabilize things, but he's at the stage where he needs a knowledgeable MCAS doctor to either confirm or rule this out and figure out what the hell is going on.
I'm trying to help, but from 4000 miles away, it's proving difficult and every possible lead I've found so far has been a dead end.
NHS is preferable but it doesn't have to be. I will find a way for him to go private if I have to. Fuck if you are an MCAS doctor in the UK, I'll pay for your petrol to go to Scotland. I'll pay for anything. I just can't listen to my mother crying in the Queen Liz car park anymore because she might be about to lose her second child to the illness that almost took her first.
Thank you. Sorry. I just don't know what to do anymore.

brief update post
hey all, so a friend is going to hopefully be lending me a mattress that will not trigger my MCAS as much as this one. however, my computer screen finally broke and typing on my phone is incredibly painful + difficult because of my joint issues. I am housebound & have a really hard time w phone calls so I have to do everything online. I also still need to fix my glasses & have no way to get to the appointment or pay for replacements. my disability cheque is nowhere near enough for rent, food, meds, a shelf so my stuff isn't all on the floor, transpo to medical appointments and everything else I need to get properly set up here and not lose my housing again.
my PayPal email is [email protected] & my wishlist is here.
please keep signal boosting/donating/getting wishlist items if you can!
thank you so much to everyone who has kept me housed and helped in other ways 💜💜💜

A once-core business for GE and Siemens shows new signs of life
(Bloomberg Opinion) –A once mighty engine of profit for Siemens AG and General Electric Co. isn’t dead just yet, but the business will remain a ghost of its former self.
The market in question is gas turbines, equipment that sits at the heart of natural gas power plants and helps to generate electricity. A glut of capacity and the reduced cost of renewable energy tanked demand for these engines, sparking years of painful slides in profitability and massive rounds of cost-cutting. Recently, though, orders have started to perk up modestly; regions such as China are converting to gas from coal or nuclear power, while elsewhere there is a growing recognition that the flexibility and reliability of turbines gives them a role to play even in a world tilting increasingly toward alternatives. In what may be a nod to this recent improvement, Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser told Bloomberg News this week that the company may keep only a 25% stake in the struggling energy unit it plans to spin off. That would constitute a more extensive break than what was envisioned when Siemens announced the overhaul in May with the intention of retaining a “somewhat less than 50%” holding — seemingly a bet that the apparent bottoming in demand will entice more support from the public market.
Read: The world’s only $100 billion utility owes its rise to wind power
Indeed, Siemens saw a 9% increase in comparable orders in its gas-and-power division in the fiscal fourth quarter and said its market share in large gas turbines held roughly steady in 2019. Deutsche Bank AG analysts led by Gael de-Bray this week outlined a path for a 20% recovery in Siemens gas turbine orders to 10 gigawatts annually. The analysts acknowledge this is an out-of-consensus view, but even GE, the poster child for gas power woes, has seen business come in better than expected. Year to date, GE logged gas power orders of 12.8 GWs, compared with 7.2 GWs in the same period in 2018, Chief Financial Officer Jamie Miller said on the company’s third-quarter earnings call. That adds support to CEO Larry Culp’s optimism that overall market volume may exceed GE’s dire forecast of just 25 to 30 GWs at the beginning of the year.
This recent stabilization in demand is encouraging, but the question isn’t just whether companies can attract orders, but whether they can deliver them and any associated maintenance work profitably. The Deutsche Bank analysts estimate the Siemens Energy spinoff (which includes a 59% stake in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA) can reach its goal of doubling its adjusted profit margin to about 8% by 2021, a reflection of growth in more profitable service work and targeted cost savings of 700 million euros. Progress is progress, but it should be noted that an 8% margin isn’t exactly blockbuster profitability, and that number reinforces the idea that there is a more structural shift in the power market that will keep a lid on further improvements.
GE, for its part, has said fixed costs are down 9% year to date in the gas power business, although it has also pushed out some restructuring work, in part because negotiations in Europe are taking longer than expected. Its own gas-power service revenue has declined in the past three quarters. Even so, Melius Research analyst Scott Davis has argued there’s no structural reason that margins can’t return to the mid-teen levels of yesteryear. He bases this in part on the idea that Siemens, as its top competitor, cares deeply about boosting its own margins and that will help keep pricing rational. In response to that, I would point you to the other power market news making the headlines this week: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries CEO Seiji Izumisawa is leaving the door open to a combination or collaboration with Siemens’s power business once it’s carved out. Siemens had reportedly been in talks to merge the gas-turbine business with Mitsubishi before deciding to go ahead with the spinoff instead. “We do have a good relationship with Siemens,” Izumisawa said in an interview at Bloomberg Headquarters this week. “I will not deny the possibility that we could possibly work with them.”
Such a move would substantially shift the competitive landscape, and it’s far from clear that Mitsubishi would have the same discipline if it was in charge of the pricing for Siemens’s new units and service agreements. Asked whether market share or profitability was more important amid weak demand for turbines, Izumisawa said that the most important thing was for the business to make money and generate value for shareholders, but within that, there’s an understanding that after-market services are responsible for most of the profit in the gas turbine business. That gives the company an interest in making sure it’s delivering a consistent number of units, he said. While Izumisawa said the Siemens spinoff doesn’t directly affect Mitsubishi’s business strategy, he acknowledged competition is only getting tougher. Siemens’s Kaeser has spoken about the likelihood that China will want its own national champion to capitalize on an expected boom in gas power demand as the country converts from coal. To that end, Izumisawa touted the productivity and reliability benefits offered by Mitsubishi’s high-efficiency J-series turbines as a tool for luring customers. The company’s estimate of greater than 64% efficiency for that product exceeds the 62.2% for GE’s 9HA turbine, and Mitsubishi is working to further expand that lead with its next generation turbine, Gordon Haskett analyst John Inch wrote in a June report. Here I will remind you that GE has cut R&D at its power unit substantially over the past few years.
Point being, demand may be stabilizing, but the market is only getting more competitive.
LEAKING FUEL
Some worrying signals for the aerospace market emanated from the Dubai Air Show this week. Emirates trimmed order commitments for both Boeing Co. and Airbus SE jets, with the reductions adding up to $24 billion at list prices. Big aircraft like Boeing’s 777X are falling out of favor as weakening demand and fare competition sparks concern about airlines’ ability to fill the planes profitably. Emirates will take 126 777X jets, including six orders for older models that were upgraded to the newest version, and 30 of Boeing’s smaller 787 Dreamliners. All in, that’s 40 fewer planes than planned. The airline upped its order for Airbus’s A350 wide-body jet, but seemingly scrapped a commitment for 40 A330neos that was part of the original deal, resulting in a net loss.
A bright spot was Airbus’s longer-range A321 XLR model. Boeing’s counter to that, a potential new middle-market aircraft, remains a question mark amid the continuing crisis engulfing its 737 Max. The more orders Airbus is able to rack up in the meantime, the weaker the business case for that Boeing jet. Airbus is already moving on: The manufacturer talked about developing a narrow-body jet by the end of the 2020s if key technologies are available, likely kicking off a new front in the arms race with Boeing, notes Bloomberg Intelligence’s George Ferguson. The MCAS software system blamed for the Max’s two fatal crashes was installed to make up for the fact that the existing 737 model infrastructure was less adaptable to more fuel-efficient engines. Clean-sheet development programs like the one Airbus is contemplating won’t come cheap and the fact that the planemakers’ are considering them speaks to a potentially more structural shift away from wide-bodies in the current demand environment.
DEALS, ACTIVISTS AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
Thyssenkrupp AG’s plan to sell off its prized elevator division got more complicated this week. The company plunged the most since 2000 on Thursday after warning that a deepening cash crunch would force it to suspend dividend payments. Selling off the entire elevator business – whose exposure to the growing urbanization trend makes it a rare bright spot for Thyssenkrupp – would bring in much needed cash to fund restructuring for the remaining steel, submarines and industrial businesses. But that would also deprive Thyssenkrupp of its top source of cash flow should the turnaround plan fail to gain traction. Binding bids for the elevator unit are due in mid-January, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg News. Rival Kone Oyj has partnered with private equity firm CVC Capital Partners for a bid and has reportedly offered a sizable breakup fee to help convince Thyssenkrupp to put aside antitrust concerns. Also in the running are a consortium of Blackstone Group Inc., Carlyle Group LP and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board; an Advent International, Cinven and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority team; Brookfield Asset Management; Asian private equity firm Hillhouse Capital, whose connection to China may also draw scrutiny; and 3G Capital, which is better known for its troubled food investments.

Cobham Plc’s planned sale to Advent International advanced a step this week after the U.K. government said it was likely to accept remedies designed to address national security concerns over the $5 billion takeover of a military supplier. The deal still risks being caught in the political crossfire with a final ruling not expected to come until Dec. 17, five days after the U.K. general election. The opposition Labour Party has taken a dim view of the deal amid a spike in foreign acquirers taking advantage of the pound’s Brexit-fueled weakness. The deal has few benefits for Britain, but a block on purely protectionist grounds would set a bad precedent, as my colleague Chris Hughes has written. “If the U.K. merely rues that Cobham is worth more in U.S. hands, it should instead ask whether past industrial policy is to blame and learn the lessons,” Chris writes. Approval likely comes with some strings, though, including job commitments and potentially an agreement to keep Cobham’s headquarters in the U.K.

It’s that time again -- your favorite time and mine, I’m sure -- and I felt it was furthermore time for an update, but first things first:
Plumfund | Paypal: [email protected] | Apartment Wishlist
If you haven’t read any of my signal boosts about this, here’s an introduction: My name is Sammy -- or Felicia -- and I’m 31 years old, but I’m turning 32 next month. I’ve lived with my mom my entire life, but in 2015 a vicious break-in nearly took my life and left me with PTSD. I was also born with a genetic trifecta of dysfunction known as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, MCAS, and POTS. I’m a wheelchair user who can only work about 10-15 hours a week, and I’ve waited 2.5 years on a waitlist for an accessible unit to open up at this location (or any other) and lost my chance to secure one a few months ago due to severe pneumonia.
That said, I secured my deposit and managed to get some furniture and starter things for my apartment, but I don’t have everything. I lack a coffee table. My mom’s hand-me-downs are about two seconds from falling apart. My wishlist has several things you could look at if you want to get me something specific.
This is what my apartment looks like as of today. Most of my big furniture isn’t coming over until Friday/the 11th of May.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s no obligation to donate, but if you could at least signal boost this to help get the word out and help maybe in that way, that’d be great. I only have about two paychecks left before I’m off for the summer, and my mother just put my account $80 in the negative as she let our utilities get shut off twice in two weeks because of her poor financial management. So I’m even worse off than I’d normally be.
So trust me, anything helps right about now.

Pots UK specialists
This is a directory of doctors in the uk that deal with POTS, which has been associated with MCAS as far as I know.
I am HCA (think UK's CNAs as far as I have understood) and I do not know any doctors personally that deal with this but I hope this will help.
If anyone has any other ideas, contacts ot such and sees this post, please pitch in! If not, reblog to signal boost so maybe someone else who does will see it!
