“can’t take it anymore,” he murmurs, shaking his head. with one arm he holds himself up over you, the other reaches into his pocket, grabbing a condom, but leaving it in his hand as he undoes his zipper fully, pulling them down with his one hand to around his knee, kicking them off, while he places the condom between his teeth, ripping it. his boxers are next to go, his boner hitting his stomach from the speed of which he removes his underwear.

your breaths pick up faster and faster, the room filled with sounds of breathing and sounds of your bodies meeting, and slight squelching. “mine,” he spits out, voice tight. “no one else’s,” he adds, his voice low and husky. he picks up his pace and small sweat beads start to grow on his forehead. you let out a breathy moan as he moves a hand to your hip, gripping onto you. you feel his tip hit that sweet spongy spot inside of you and the feeling makes you weak.

Queen Aslaug walks into your little Healers store with one request, help her son. Said to be blessed by the gods, you find your life becoming more and more intertwined with the young prince as you do your best to ease his pain. It will soon be apparent that outside forces have other ideas.

The bird followed him around everywhere, anytime he tried to leave Kattegat it would attack him until he turned around and went back. Aslaug had told him to wait four days, that the gods had shown her a vision that if he went before then, something terrible would happen. So he did, he spent his time pacing and sharpening his weapons.

He was woken on the fourth day to squawking in Ubbe's room, the bird had left his side and turned to his Brother. Ivar got dressed as fast as he could, he didn't even bother putting on his braces, choosing to crawl to save on time.

When he opened the door the scene that greeted him was comical, this birds was hovering over Ubbe while he dressed, if he took too long the bird would swoop down and peck him.

"I'm coming, I can only dress so fast with you at me!" By the time Ubbe was done, it looked like he had lost of battle, his hair was a mess and half his clothes were inside out or backwards.

"I'm coming with you, I have to speak to y/n before you bring her back to Kattegat." The bird let out a terrible shriek and flew at his face. He ducked out of the way before it hit him.

"I think you should stay, that is if you want to keep your eyes."

Bjorn was waiting by the door when Ubbe walked in. He was dressed to leave but he and his Mother were meant to be staying in Kattegat for the next week. He looked like he hadn't slept at all.

Nightmares

"I think Father is trying to tell us something."

They rode as hard as they could, the Berserker who was Aslaug's personal guard had asked to come as well. He had grown very fond of you. You had noticed how much time he spent by the horses when he wasn't working and when no one was around, you had taken to calling him 'Leif the Gentle' rather than 'Leif the brutish'.

There were armed men outside when they rode up. It was clear they weren't happy that anyone was here, let alone the Sons of Ragnar.

"You should leave, she's busy." Ubbe was too mad to react at first so Bjorn cut in.

"You will let us through or you will be in the mines by the end of the week." He put his hand on his sword for emphasis.

When they walked in you had your backs to them, and you were hunched up like you were hurt.

"Please go, you can't be here." You sounded ill.

"Turn around Dove, we're here to take you back to Kattegat." You did so very slowly, your eyes cast down the whole time.

You were covered in bruises and there were scrapes on your cheek, you were breathing like your ribs were broken and you were pale and washed out.

"What in the Hel happened to you?!" you flinched at the Ubbe's raised voice but gave no other indication that you heard him.

"It doesn't matter, I will be fine. You should go, unless someone is dying there's no need for you to be here." you wiped a tear from your face.

"I'm sad to say this will be the last time we see each other. I am to be wed next Sunday." You held up your hand to show a ring on your finger, it was gaudy and hideous. The only Jewellery you wore was the Eir necklace that hung around your neck, and even then, it was tucked into your top most of the time.

"To whom?!" Ubbe was shocked, you had expressed before that you had no desire to marry.

"Earl Knut's Son Brant." The men were looking back and forth from you to each other.

"The morning I got home, my Father informed me that somehow his debt had been paid in full. I have outlived my usefulness and now he is getting rid of me. It turns out that at least to Brant, I am worth quite a lot of money." You paused to take a sip of something from a mug.

Rest Your Weary Hands Part 4

I made Aslaug and Lagertha friends because everyone lives and no one dies and women being good to other women makes me happy. However, Ragnar is dead because I need it that way for the plot, he will still show up and that's all I'm saying.

Part 3

Warnings: Paying gambling debts through labour, stitching up wounds, Ubbe turns into a big brother bear. Brief mentions of child and talks of spousal abuse.

"Prince Ubbe, what brings you here today?" You were surprised to see the Prince today, Aslaug had been in the day before to collect more tea for Ivar, so unless something was very wrong with his younger Brother, he didn't really have a reason to be here.

He lifted up his shirt to show you a bruise that spread across his body's left side.

"I fell off my horse." he grimaced as he walked closer to the counter.

"Oh my, come in the back and I'll get you taken care of."

It wasn't terrible, he didn't have any broken bones but you could feel the lumpy bruises under his skin.

"How's Ivar doing?" you were dipping bandages in some strong smelling fluid while Ubbe looked around your back room. It wasn't much, just a small bed and some shelves that were filled with various things, including lots of scrolls; there were also some surgical tools were soaking in a basin in the far corner of the room.

"Well, he has been complaining of more pain but he seems better in himself." he flinched as you wrapped the soaked bandages around his body then relaxed as he felt the coolness settle into his aching ribs.

"I'll see if I can come up with something else to help him, it almost always harder to treat something when it's been with them since birth." To be honest, you were very surprised with how well Ivar was taking it all, you were starting to wonder if he and his Mother knew something you didn't.

"These won't take long to heal. Nothing more than a light trot on your horse until they're entirely gone, I can't promise your ribs will hold out for another fall. I don't care how long it takes you to get back home." You realised you should have said please and been more respectful but part of you felt that Ubbe would appreciate being treated like a normal person.

"Of course Dove, something tells me that disobeying you would be worse than falling off the horse again."

You gave him a very stern look, yes it would be.

"I'll give you some tea to take for the next few days for the swelling, drink it with food or it will give you a stomach ache, and come back when they're gone so I can make sure I didn't miss anything deeper."

He already seemed a little better, although he looked a bit funny with his shirt bludging in some areas.

"As for Ivar, you can try this, but I think it will make him feel too strange. I usually leave it for when I need to treat a severe injury and can't have the person moving around."

You showed Ubbe the small compressed cake, it was about the size of a medium mushroom cap and mottled brown.

"Only give him this amount, and put it in some hot water. It will be very bitter so he can have a spoonful of honey afterwards."

You showed Ubbe a small broken hunk, and put it up against your finger so he could understand the rough size.

"Thank you, Dove. Mother asked me to tell you she will be here on Sunday to come and collect you to spend more time with Ivar, she's very happy with how much he improved when you were there."

You were coming to the conclusion that Aslaug had a plan you were unaware of, Ivar shouldn't need you back for at least another week.

"Of course Prince Ubbe, I'll be ready when she arrives that morning."

You suppose you were grateful you were so good at your job. Your Father's gambling debts were always bad, more so when your Mother died, but the small amount of profit you made kept the debt collectors happy until the end of the week.

The owners of the gambling houses in the area realised that he was a problem and was always going to be behind, but they also realised that he wasn't getting his money by working.

Rest Your Weary Hands Part 1

Prologue

You could hear the sound of horses close by, more than a couple. You hoped it wasn't the local stable owner, he had enough money that he could just buy medicine with he felt sick rather than do what you told him.

Maybe if you ate a carrot every now and then rather than all that meat, you wouldn't have a constant stomach ache.

You could see them through the window now, that was not the local stable owner.

You rushed to the door to open it before they got here. It was Lady Asluag, her son Ubbe and some of her men.

You went out of your way to act like they were anyone else, while inside, it felt like you had swallowed a nettle bush.

"Welcome My Queen, Price Ubbe. What brings you to my store today?"

They walked in and looked around. The space wasn't tiny, but it wasn't large either, there was a wood bench with ingredients dotted along it, behind which was a small kitchenette, a small table and two chairs, plants in pots hung from the ceiling and were scattered around the room and the room was filled with light due to the many windows.

"I'm sure you've heard of my youngest Son?" she was looking at you like you were a stone in the road and she was figuring out how to get past you.

"Only that he suffers with terrible pain, is that why you're here?" she nodded, more interested in the flowering plant in the conner than you.

"Yes, I spoke to Ulf this morning and he says you work miracles" you were already reaching behind you to get something off the shelf.

"Oh no, only Christians believe in miracles. I simply use what the Gods give us from the land" She looked at you right in the eyes and smiled.

So that was a test

She took a good look at you, focusing on the tie in your hair, it was the same one from her dream.

"No charge this time around, rub it on Ivar's legs twice a day when he, gets up and when he goes to bed, a small handful each time, if it starts to smell or turn a strange colour, throw it out and come and get more, it should stay fresh for 2 months but keep the jar away from the fire."

Ubbe spoke for the first time.

"No charge? he seemed confused.

"Yes, no charge. You have no idea if it works and I will not swindle anyone. If you wish to pay for it, do it when you come to get more" The Queen looked slightly perturbed at that.

"Right then, thank you miss, I'm sure we'll be back soon" she was turning on her heels and leaving your store the moment she stopped speaking, Ubbe stayed a breath longer.

"Do you have a name, Dove?" You wanted to glare and him but you knew better.

"Y/n, My Prince" and with that, he was gone.

"Tora tells me the Queen was here today" your Father's tone was accusatory as usual.

"Yes Father, she was. She just wanted something for her Son. And no, I don't have any more coins, you will have to wait till the end of the week to visit the gambling house again."

Backstory

History: Born in 1973, Helena was the second child of Alessandro Durazzo and Olivia Hearst. After some thoughts, I'm deciding to post this again....but with very detailed notes about the reader!

Summary: A short drabble about MC getting their period for the first time since regaining their human form in the Devildom.

Mammon x AFAB! MC

ONLY HUMAN

Being stuck as a sheep in the Devildom was hard, but you were beginning to think that being a human in the Devildom was even harder. Since you regained your human form, your body had started to go back to its normal functions, which included your first monthly cycle since being human in the Devildom.

Your sleep was interrupted all night long due to the dull ache of cramps in your lower abdomen…unfortunately you knew that ache well. Your period had started in the middle of the night, and you had completely forgotten to get any sort of products for it. Not that you even knew how to go about asking any of the demon brothers. You reach over to your bedside table to check your phone. Squinting, you could make out that it read 3 a.m. Of course. You sigh, kicking the covers off of yourself and head to the bathroom. As you sit on the toilet contemplating your next move, your phone buzzes. Who would be up at this hour? You thought as you reached for your phone once again. You had a text message from him.

Mammon

“Yo, MC! I can’t sleep. Are you up?”

Your heart begins to beat faster at the thought of the white haired demon texting you this late at night.

“Yes. But I won’t be much fun…I'm not feeling the greatest.”

“What?! Why didn’t you say something sooner?! I’ll be right there!”

You can’t help but giggle as you picture him hopping out of bed and tripping over his own feet as he struggles to put on the closest nearby article of clothing. Because he has nothing on when he sleeps, you thought. You felt your cheeks heating up as you shook your head, this is no time to be fantasizing about the Avatar of Greed.

You quickly stumble out of the bathroom and pull on a pair of shorts as you hear a knock at your door. “MC, I’m comin’ in, okay?” You turned around to meet Mammon’s gaze as he looked you up and down. “W-Wait. Why do you smell like blood? What the hell happened?!” You sighed as you sat down on your bed, Mammon taking the spot next to you. “I’m okay Mams. I uh, just got my period is all…” It seems to take him a few moments to process what you said. “Your period…? Oh wait, I think I remember reading about that somewhere…in one of Satan’s books about humans.” You nodded. “Yeah, my fragile human body is making me feel a bit sick right now.” Mammon hummed as he gently placed his hand on your forehead. “Well you’re feelin’ a little warm, and it’s my job to take care of the fragile human! So tell me what you need and I'll get it for ya!” You giggled at his enthusiasm. “Well for one, I need some supplies…I never got anything while I was a sheep.” Mammon nods and jumps up, I’ll go get ya some right away. Need anything else?” You leaned against Mammon’s side as you thought for a moment. “Painkillers, for sure. And snacks.” The second born nodded and stood up. “Sure, you relax and I’ll be right back!” He was about to leave your bedroom when he hesitated. “Wait a minute, let me tuck ya in so I know you’ll stay put!” Your eyes widened in surprise as Mammon made his way back towards your bed. “Go on, lay down!” You giggled and slid back under your covers. Mammon pulled the blankets up around you and gently tucked the sides around your body. “Good. Now stay where you are and I’ll be back with everything you need. I’m gonna hack into Levi’s Akuzon account. That way it gets delivered here ASAP!”

I honestly appreciate the way the finale was handled a lot.

I was expecting it to basically pull a star vs the forces of evil (as a lot of shows like this do), where their worlds merge or there's some permanent passageway between them or some kind of reunion, etc. But they didn't. And that made it impactful to me and more emotional than any of the other recent cartoon finales I've watched lately. The finality of it. You can't even imagine what their continued adventures would've been...because there weren't anymore (you can imagine them of course, fanfic exists for a reason, but you understand the point I'm trying to make).

But I also thought it made the really beautiful point that some phases of our life are just that. Phases. People come and go. Experiences happen and end. People grow apart, either emotionally or physically. And sometimes they come back together but sometimes they don't. That doesn't make the experiences or relationships less meaningful or real. Sometimes those fleeting encounters can change your life like it did for the girls and the people of amphibia. Not inherently a good or bad thing, but just...the way it is.

bubbline is honestly one of my favorite ships just because of the genuine build-up without it necessarily being a main plot point.

The mysterious history (that was subject of bunch debate whether it was romantic or not). The little things of them sharing clothes, hanging out together, building back up a friendship, holding hands in the background of scenes, the little touches. It was all really cute.

100 Days (Saeyoung x MC)

You quickly got up from bed as soon as you heard your alarm go off. You hated waking up early, mostly because you were not a morning person, but today was special. Today, you celebrated 100 days if being with the love of you life, Saeyoung.

It had been tough road to get where you are now, but thanks to hard effort and of course, love, you managed to make it through all the challenged the world seemed to throw at you.

You immediately put on your cutest clothes, and made your hair in the way he liked it the most. Today, you were going to spoil the heck out of that man~

You quickly went outside and bought some PhD Pepper, both if your favorite candy, your favorite movies and a small bento box -this one you had made yourself, weeks before having practiced over and over how to make the perfect meal, with hearts and smiley faces and everything Saeyoung liked that wasn't trash food. You had to admit that for now being an expert with cooking you did an amazing job.

You immediately got a ride to Saeyoung's home. You slowly made your way to the door, your face blushing a bit and your hand trying to fix a strand of fair away from your face.

You stood in front of the door waiting for it to immediately open like it always did ever since Saeyoung adjusted it to obey your voice too, but this time it didn't seem to move.

You tried looking around, confused, and then tried to open the door once again.

It wouldn't buckle.

That was strange.

You quickly took your phone out, and leaning against the door texted your boyfriend, trying to ask where he was without being too obvious you had come to visit him.

You immediately got a reply back.

"Me and Saeran decided to go in an impromptu brother's trip!~ Look! Saeran caught a big fish!"

Immediately after that came a picture of a selfie Saeyoung took with Saeran in the background (he was indeed holding a big ass fish.) The second one he sent was of him currently getting smacked in the face with said fish while Saeran seemed to scream something at him.

You chuckled at the sight, but immediatly felt your heart tighten as you realized that, Saeyoung wasn't here and most importantly, that he had forgotten about the anniversary.

It wasn't something you had discussed with him before, but all couples in korea knew and did this tradition, so you just assumed Saeyoung would know it too.

As you bit your bottom lip trying not to cry, Saeyoung sent you one last message telling you that you had left something in the house, and that if you wanted to go and get it that the back yard door was open, and only opened for your voice.

You felt confused as to what you could've possibly left inside, and debated wether to go in or not....you were feeling pretty down.

But maybe going to Saeyoung's room and putting his clothes on while sleeping on his bed wrapped in blankets might help. And you could eat his food, as a bit of revenge for forgetting something so important.

You quickly made your way through the backyard and opened the door. The first thing you saw was a small red string, with a small note attached to it.

Ohoho~ Surprise surprise my sweet 606! Wanna play a game?? Of course you do! Now, all you have to do is follow the red string all the way to the house. Once you've collected all the pieces of paper, in the end of your journey you will find a key that will lead you to your secret treasure! Have fun~

You felt your stomach do a flip as you read the note over and over again. He....he had something planned? Oh how fun! You squealed as you followed the piece of red string near the garden, which Saeran had been tending to ever since he arrived. You immediately found the first note with a flower attached to the back, and it said, in small letters in the top: Reasons why I love you.

In Saeyoung's messy handwriting you made out what it said.

1. I love your smile.

You flushed red and tried to hide your face in your hands. You giggled as you put the note in your bag along with the flower carefully, and followed the red string towards a big tree in the yard. It used to be very lonely and depressing, but thanks to Saeran he managed to make the whole place look absolutely wonderful!

You found the second note with your favorite candy attached on the side. It said:

Yoh let out a small chuckle and happily ate the candy while following the red thread. Quickly you found number 3, with a cute plushie of a cat next to it.

You made your way through the garden, each time collecting more and more notes and small items.

You let out a laugh and then gasped as you looked at the kitchen. The table was a lined up with your favorite food and dishes and drinks. You put your part of the food in the table and had to debate wether or not to keep going. The food looked way too delicious...but you had do wait for Saeyoung. With a determined step you kept going down the hall.

You felt your heart melt as you walked down the hall and into the spare rooms, slowly walking up to Saeyoung's room.

You were now passing the bathroom, and after that, came Saeyoung's room. You felt your heart start beating faster and faster.

The only thing you could hear was the quick thumping of your heart.

The last note had a key attached with a red string. You grabbed it and opened the door.

Your eyes took a moment to adjust to the darkness of the room, but you saw the curtains were drawn, and that in the roof there were holograms of dancing stars and planets.

There was a small fort in the middle, and you gasped as you saw Saeyoung standing there, a big goofy smile in his face.

You felt your cheeks heat up as he made his way towards you, pulling you into the room. He grabbed your hands and squeezed them, looking deep into your eyes.

"I love you because...." He whispered, and kissed your forehead. "You have taught me...." He kissed your cheek. "The true meaning...." He kissed your nose. "Of love..." And then, he locked your lips against yours in a chaste kiss.

You wrapped your arma around his neck and melted deeper and deeper into the kiss, making Saeyoung sigh in happiness. When the two of you ran out of breath, he quickly held on finger up and dug for something in his pockets.

He took out a small box and opened it's showing a beautiful red ring with small diamonds on the side (looking like stars) and caressed your cheek.

"MC." He said. You nodded.

"I...you've truly made me the happiest man alive. I would've never thought I'd ever be able to have something like this...to have someone i get to call my own...but thanks to you, everything seems possible now. I've found my brother. I'm happier. I have someone I love and cherish. I...I don't exactly know much about this... anniversary, but I read about promise rings and...well...." He quickly took the ring out and gently placed it in your finger, kissing your knuckles. "I promise, from now on, to always be by your side. To love you, no matter what, and to cherish you and adore you and spoil you. I will love you forever, my dear 606."

You let out a happy sigh and immediately wrapped your arms around Saeyoung, then kissed his nose and his forehead and his cheeks, muttering how much you loved him, how happy you were.

*Oh Saeyoung! This is...this is absolutely wonderful! Thank you, I... I love you so much!!!" You kissed him again, making him laugh and then, in one swift movement pick you up and twirl you around and around.

"I love you too! More than anything in the universe!"

That afternoon, after having some fun times in the bedroom and watching a movie (well, tried to, you kept getting distracted since he would kiss you every five seconds) inside the beautiful fort he had made, you had dinner and spent the whole time in each other's company, every once in a while kissing you and hugging you tight.

Thay night you spent it in each other's arms, happily hugging and whispering words of love yo each other.

Now you couldn't wait until you celebrated your 200 day anniversary!

You’re dating Yelena in secret after you both join the Avengers/SHEILD and you are walking into the kitchen/common area and see natasha choking out Bucky or Sam because he flirted with her

(Also I imagined that you have a Russian accent too like you both met in Russia)

71) What would MC do if they lived in a pandemic?

Nellie is what I like to call a "chronic carer"—she wants to take care of everyone. So honestly, she'd probably be making masks (ugly ones in garishly bright patterns, but masks all the same) to donate and going grocery shopping for her elderly neighbors. She's also incredibly social, though, so she'd definitely losing her mind a little in quarantine, haha!

84) What's the biggest way your MC's story is different to the game?

Ooh, interesting question. There aren't actually any super massive differences in Nellie's story from the canon storyline, at least not yet. Most of what we've got in canon, I've been able to work into her story. But one difference is that I don't imagine her brother Jacob to be all that powerful of a wizard. Dedicated, for sure, and not without his strong points, but overall, just lacking raw magical power. In contrast, Nellie is basically a supernova of raw magical power trapped in a very small, very mortal body. (If you’ve ever read Carry On, think how they described Simon’s magic compared to Baz’s.) She comes from bloodline of very powerful witches, so it was basically a given. Being not only the first son born in a long line of powerful witches, but being a markedly average wizard and then having his younger sister be so powerful, is what drove Jacob to try and find the Vaults in the first place. In short, he wanted power. It also complicates his relationship with Nellie; she's absolutely his favorite person in the world and he adores her so much, but he also envies and resents her so deeply.

My Two First Loves, Ch. 71-73 AKA Trauma Level 100

What happened this week:

With some time to burn before dinner, partake in a little “indecent exposure”, as Noah puts it, by stripping down and jumping into the frozen lake with everyone. Complete the hike with a mountaintop picnic. I’m assuming everyone’s still cold and wet here.

When the lights go out and Mrs. Jennings asks you to find some candles in the basement, Noah trips and conveniently yanks out a loose brick, in which the very same gun that put a bullet in his body is hidden. Now that’s gotta be traumatizing for him..

Dinner goes about as well as you’d expect when there’s a gun on the table, with things escalating to the point where Jennings calls Noah a big fat piece of “nothing”, practically disowns his son, and surprisingly makes some valid points regarding your flip-floppiness, and your father leaving us in jail for the night. Ava also declares that she is “gay as hell”, and though this should seem like a momentous step for her, everything is already at level 100 that this surprised no one.

Blow of steam and exercise your imagination by chopping some wood with everyone. Imagining your worst enemies as a log you’re currently demolishing is very therapeutic, I know. A good alternative is a baseball bat.

Before Noah can reveal the ever-so-secret deal with Jennings, the bastard has the gall. The audacity. The nerve to have a heart attack. Now that’s gotta be traumatizing for Mason.

In a panic, your doctor dad endangers four teens’ lives by sending them driving for help in a snowstorm. Doesn’t MC carpool? She doesn’t drive, right? So in true Choices fashion, we get into another car crash. Now that’s gotta be traumatizing for everyone. There’s no other way to spice it up. If you even suggest at PB that they create drama in another way, they crash a car into you on the spot.

Thoughts:

What I don’t understand is how long has the gun been there in the basement? Because everyone makes it seem like it’s been there forever, but the cabin was a recent purchase/upgrade, right? I’d ask someone to clear this up for me but frankly, I don’t want to think about it anymore.

After the intensity of the dinner, I found the crash a lot more comical than it should’ve been. Like everything else is so ridiculous that of course it happens. But I guess that’s what happens when you go driving in a snowstorm. Don’t drive in snowstorms, folks. Take it from me, a Canadian.

Hello Parker-san, now that we’ve got a full view of Mickey in the Ramshackle mirror, what’s Jonah’s reaction be like and btw, for the upcoming Halloween event, what’s Jonah’s costume gonna be like. Thank you and stay safe.

Well, Mickey was certainly a surprise for all of us, isn’t it? In my adaptation, unfortunately, Mickey sort of doesn’t exist, since that mouse seems to have a connection with MC in the ‘real world’. In turn, like back during The Rebel of the Wilderness/Break & Gosh Arc, we’ll be having more vision of Jonah’s original villain.

As for Halloween, well... Remember Chapter 67-71 and my whole Heroes and Princess theme? Technically speaking, I already have my own Halloween Party with Jonah dressed up as Harry Potter (which is sort of fit the isekai theme in some ways). If I do end up making an adaptation of this event, it will happen in Book 2 (IF we have one), which means Jonah will be slightly more mature.

Because of a certain dorm take my pirate aesthetic/Jonah’s whole identity, we have to think of another theme.

If we insist on the adventure theme and maintaining that childlike innocent: Peter Pan, with Jonah as Peter Pan and Grim as Tinker Bell. Or Indiana Jones

If we want a galaxy theme: Star Wars, Jonah can be Darth Vader and Grim wears an R2-D2 helmet

If we want that mystery theme: The Great Mouse Detective/Sherlock Holmes

Not gonna lie, it’s hard to imagine Jonah as anything but a pirate. It felt so weird...

BARBATOS & SOLOMON VS DIAVOLO

Yes , yes this long mentioned headcanon is finally being discussed because its relevant to both Barbatos and Solomon. And here it is - If it comes down to an order , Barbatos will always obey Solomon first and foremost because of the pact that Solomon possesses with Barbatos.

The history between Barbatos and Diavolo has , unfortunately , not been touched much on besides Barbatos saying he’s been serving Diavolo for thousands of years and from what I gather or at least theorize , he likely met Diavolo’s father ( who is currently sleeping ) and served the whole royal family and then became exclusively Diavolo’s personal servant , or always was Diavolo’s personal servant but still served the others. Either way , the point is that Barbatos’s ties to Diavolo and the royal family are likely by CHOICE. Even if they were not , it’s a spoken oath rather than the formation of the pact. Barbatos CAN likely defy Diavolo if he ever truly chose to.

But Barbatos’s tie with Solomon is bound by a pact. We see the MC able to force Mammon to obey , and MC doesn’t even really possess any magic. What little is is LILITH’S , NOT MC’s as the game says. If someone with no natural magic can force a demon to obey , imagine what one of if not THE most powerful sorcerer aka Solomon could do. That’s Solomon’s base magic , not factoring in the ring of Solomon OR his 71 ( at least ) other pacts. A pact already makes a demon unable defy the pact owner’s will. The Ring of Solomon also makes demons that Solomon doesn’t have a pact with forced to obey him , as it’s described as “ possessing the grace of God himself “. Now Solomon’s never shown the ring In game , only mentioned it depending on what response you give him , but I say he has it , he just doesn’t openly show it nor does he use it. Solomon’s pacts would likely overrule any other pacts a demon has made ( if not destroying the demon ). The point of this is that Barbatos CANNOT disobey Solomon.

If it comes down to conflicting orders from Diavolo and Solomon , Barbatos will be forced to obey Solomon’s commands no matter what his own will is. No matter if he wanted to defy it , Solomon holds ultimate authority over Barbatos. In other words , Solomon’s got THE MOST POWERFUL piece at his disposal. And he knows it.
