Poll Options explanations:

Drop early chapters of EYED / Dreamlike: This is a Moon-centric x reader fic I've been working on for several months now and I originally planned to start posting it when I finished it or got really close to doing so. I dropped a sneak peek of it here! I find myself currently on a standstill on it's later chapters, which is why it hasn't been finished yet, but otherwise I am reallllly happy with it's messaging and pacing. (Rn I have plotted out 15 chapters but it's looking like it could be longer with how I write oops-)

The first chapters have been pretty polished at this point, so if people are really curious about this one, I don't mind to start posting the chapters up to a certain point. If this wins, I'll post the first 3 chapters for 3 sequential days, then 4 and 5 will come out in the next week, and then the last week I'll post ch. 6 for no particular reason mhmm yup I am not planning anything nefarious-

Drawing requests: This would be my first time doing something like this, and while I know I can pop out some bangers for y'all I also don't want to dig myself into a hole and leave y'all waiting for a long time. 😅So if this wins, I'll take the first 10 requests and draw them out! If I feel capable of doing more I may open some more slots for y'all, but I need to test my speed and my capabilities here first. Expect some lovely rendering bc I love it so, but I won't be doing backgrounds (besides simple colors) for the sake of my sanity.

Drabble requests: Most of ya here probably see me as only an artist, but I do write and actually started out as a writer first for this fandom hehe. ✨ I've been doing well recently with short stories so as long as y'all want em, I can hopefully dish em out at a reasonable pace! I, again, haven't done something like this before. So if this wins, I'll take the first 10 requests, but I feel more confident that I can do this at a reasonable pace, so if things go well I'll open up 5-10 more slots for y'all!

How would you have planned an arc for Wendy in the show, since the writers claimed they never managed to crack her? I mean, we see how they managed to do for Pacifica and Soos in like two or so episodes. Why can't they do so for Wendy?

Btw it slightly pains me to say it a little as a dipcifica shipper, but if they claim there's no space for Wendy episodes, then I would drop the Pacifica episodes. She didn't end up contributing much to the overall plot.

unfortunately i think we might have to turn the mystery shack trio into the daddy issues trio because that really is how wendy's general issues was kinda heading in my opinion

her struggling with a controlling but still loving dad (who also has severe memory gaps from the blindeye cult, considering he built ford's house and actually knew ford, along with likely encountering anomalies constantly) and her acting out due to pent up stress and even more pent up grief from losing her mum.... her blindeye line about her putting on a facade really is super compelling to me and it (along with her really wanting to leave town when she gets the chance) gives her another connection to stan which i think they both really needed

while i do constantly go on about there needed to be a story with dipper as a supportive friend instead of it always being vice versa, i would also love one about her relationships with soos and mabel cos it's genuinely really cute, heck maybe expand on her childhood friendship with tambry a bit. there's also the implication she might've been bullied as a kid for being super tall too

i of course get why the writers wanted to flesh pacifica out but it really did take up the episodes/comic story/website story that wendy could've gotten and honestly? i would've been satisfied with golf war as her settling as a tentative friend (not like the nw ep or website+comic story got to properly resolve her being stuck with extremely abusive parents and being a guilt ridden descendant of evil rich fuckers.....)

the general idea of her getting to bond with susan post-series is something i'm way more interested in than her just being part of the mystery shack family because it gets to flesh the both of them out more too (and even with weirdmageddon her being able to develop a bond with candy and grenda might've been also fun)

paz being the only "rival" character who got s2 screentime also stands out! the writers deliberately had little gideon screentime since he was the main s1 villain but it makes his change of heart pretty abrupt (and i'm salty at the lack of him idolising ford cos that is a hilarious dynamic), and robbie's ep literally didn't address the issues of who he is as a person-- aka his extreme insecurities and not respecting wendy at all so shoving him with another girl ain't fixing any problems!!! you can't "oh this is actually true love, this love potion is fine" me hirsch!!!!!

and in the end paz's role in weirdmageddon 3 ends up coming off extremely forced and honestly makes me pity her cos like??? she doesn't want to be there??? what in-universe reason is she on ford's rescue team???? at least stan has a reason to protect the rest of his family!!!! but she's the "llama" i guess even tho that role could've also gone to freaking wax larry king's head or literally anyone who happened to wear that sweater (and yes the northwest ep has a portrait of a llama in the background and in the end the writers wanted the zodiac to have that theme of friends, family, rivals and enemies coming together but urgh. it feels so clunky, might as well have her get captured like the other rivals to give her a reason to be in the fearamid)

(but yeah, i am kinda biased from years of folks excluding soos+wendy+grenda+candy from group arts too lmao but i don't mind if paz is included as long as they at least include the others instead of pretending the trio of dipper+paz+mabel is the only one that exists)

I love reading 2000s/2010s niche YA books about teen girls in high school like it’s simply my favorite thing ever (Gallagher girls series by Ally Carter, Also Known As by Robin Benway, The Fixer by Jennifer Lynn Barnes). I’m currently reading All-American Girl by Meg Cabot and the only thing I hate about reading these books (besides the not-like-other-girls-ism and occasional misogyny that exposes them as very clearly a product of their time) is how little to non existent the fandoms for them are. Like, I get they’re aimed at younger people but I can’t be the only one reading them right now 😭.

(I also hate how when someone asks what I read and I say one of these I get made fun of? Like sorry we don’t all enjoy reading wuthering heights every second of the day and enjoy fun lighthearted literature every once in a while. Have you tried removing that stick from your ass and having fun?)

my theory for why he wanted ctommy to trust him and be his weapon is because of a few things. He saw potential in ctommy, he knew ctommy was good at leading people (in pogtopia he was the one who ralleyed everyone together), ctommy could easily sway anyone to like cdream which is useful hes a social weapon, ctommy is cdreams biggest enemy at that time so getting him on side would make cdream be able to achieve his goal better, he is irritated with ctommy for ruining his life so in a way getting ctommys trust could be done out of revenge as it breaks ctommy and rebuilds him to be better and to allign with cdreams happy family goal. 'If ctommy is in order than maybe everyone else can be too.' Its interesting he chooses to fake a friendship with ctommy instead of just torturing him the entire time in exile.

A lot of his manipulative actions in exile are a result of him believing ctommy being around anyone but himself would result in ctommy reverting back to a trouble maker, even ghostbur which is why he got rid of him imo.

Hmm interesting… No offense to Tommy but of the characters I see as good at swaying a crowd or being a leader or social weapon he does not necessarily come to mind. Besides Tubbo I feel like there aren’t really any instances where Tommy was the reason people did things. A lot of people hated Schlatt for other reasons so I’m not sure Tommy really rallied together Pogtopia. Quackity certainly wasn’t happy under Schlatt, he was mistreating Niki, Eret wanted redemption, Techno wanted to tear down the government, Fundy was against Schlatt day one and acting as a spy, members of the Badlands wanted chaos and for the factors to tear themselves apart… etc. So, I’m not sure we can say he has the power to inspire and rally people into fighting for a cause like Wilbur. Even Doomsday, I don’t personally think they were really swayed by Tommy’s speech, Sapnap and Punz were already going to side against Dream regardless, the people living in L’manberg or around didn’t want their house blown up etc. I’m not sure anyone fought because Tommy asked them or gathered them together, I think they were going to regardless. And Dream would know that, I mean look how fast they turned against Tommy with the Community House being blown up. So leader? - meh. Social weapon? - if you mean by talking over everyone lol then yeah, but convincing people of things? Inspiring them to fight for something - I’m just not sure I personally see it. Within reason right. Yes, everyone believe the things about Exile and stuff, but they saw how Tommy was screwed up after. So if Tommy was being manipulated into being Dream’s social weapon I don’t think they’d side with Tommy on Dream’s side.

Also, I’m not sure Tommy was his biggest threat at that point Quackity starting plotting to kill him imediately after the war, everyone else I don’t think liked him because he sided with Schlatt, a bunch of people that weren’t Tommy went after George as the king including Technoblade, hence his dethronement. Not to mention after gaining the revive book, he became afraid of a lot bigger things or larger threats to the point of building a prison to contain such evil that can’t be killed for whatever reason. Tommy was perhaps number 1 annoying bug, and certainly a threat or a possible catalyst to another war, but I don’t think Dream saw him as the biggest threat to his plans per se.

I’m not sure I follow the logic of taking revenge on someone via making them better mannered, trust you and become your friend so that you both can make everyone be peaceful as one big happy family. I mean if you wanna really do revenge like that is the true reason - you ruined my life so I’m going to ruin you - I think you’d start with destroying L’manberg before it even is able to pick up it’s pieces, kill Tubbo, explode his house as you said torture him. What do you need trust for? How bout just kill him and then with him removed you build your happy family and then maybe revive him later. It just doesn’t make sense, and Dream may be somewhat insane and extreme and emotional, but he does things for a reason that make logical sense for his goal. That is a defining difference between them actually - Tommy does not follow logic but feelings and doesn’t do things for his motivation, while Dream follows logic over feelings and does everything or makes everything work that was emotionally caused for his motivation. His emotions leak through the cracks but he doesn’t let them dictate his plans. But does Dream take out revenge on Tommy? - I think yes, I think his emotions pushed him to make Tommy feel exactly like he did - abandoned, trapped, having lost everything over and over, but I don’t think that was the ultimate purpose. I think that was almost more so unintentional like waking up grumpy and being a jerk to people all day, except in this scenario having your world crumble around you and starting to take it out on the person who is fairly responsible.

Because, clearly based on what we see in Daedalus, Dream isn’t an idiot who thinks torturing or breaking someone is how you manipulate them/get what you want. It doesn’t work, not in the dsmp and not in the real world. And he proves in Daedalus that with the upper hand, he doesn’t need to lay a hand on someone to get them to do what he wants, yet he does lay a hand on Tommy, which is counterproductive, giving me the impression that it’s not necessarily part of his plan. In other words, I do not think Exile was intended to be the cruel punishment it ended up being. I more so get the impression that it’s almost like Dream was trying to parent him.

Like think about it… Time out: sent away from everyone by yourself, Grounded: Unable to leave, Getting something taken away: losing items of value, Spankings: hitting as punishment for disobedience. All of these things are methods used by parents to enforce the ideas of good and bad in a child who doesn’t know any better. And don’t those kinda look like exactly what Dream does in Exile? Sure it’s to an extreme, but the bad things Tommy did are extreme: murder, stealing, arson, slavery, torture, destruction…. etc so in a twisted sort of way it kinda makes sense (Do Not take this as me agreeing with Dream’s methods or anything, I’m just looking at similarities. This isn’t about deserved or saying the behavior was justified or the right thing to do or whatever. All I’m looking at is reasoning and purpose.)

Anyways… what was I saying? I might be getting lost in my thoughts oops. Oh okay, right isolation. I think I touched upon this somewhere, I do think it was with the purpose of preventing them from pointing out how Dream’s a bad person. I don’t think that people make Tommy a trouble maker, he does just fine on his own, and I don’t get the impression most people would try to ya know do like arson with him or something. I mean again they turn against Tommy in the house, believing it was him and also being upset. I don’t get the feeling that they are A-okay with Tommy’s behavior much more than Dream is, but I think they support Tommy so they’ll have his back like good friends. So not so much revert in my opinion as turn against Dream if that makes sense. But then if Dream didn’t want Tommy to turn on him and actually become like friends or whatever why would he act so cruel, and thats where the emotions leak through the cracks making perhaps what was supposed to be a lesson into more so hell.

I mean later, when Phil makes Tommy burn a precious items and burn stone over and over and over again to teach him about how items are just things, isn’t that kinda similar to what Dream was doing in Exile?… though I also think Dream was afraid Tommy was going to get stuff to then revolt against Dream and try to kill him or whatever so maybe his fear (something he was definitely being consumed by) was at play there. I don’t know… Exile is just so… I don’t know, interesting and weird, but I don’t think it was supposed to be cruel, or to break/make Tommy into his puppet or weapon, it just doesn’t make sense, not with what happened nor with Dream’s motivation and characteristic behavior. He says to Sam in Daedalus that Exile wasn’t “morally perfect” and I think honestly part of him believes that…

Without further ado, enjoy this 1459 word long spew of words (and don't you dare think im finished with this. I still got likw another 5k to go but I wanted to get this out on time okay byeeeeeee)

Boring. That's what today was. Granted Error hadn't done much, but still. Lounging around his house for days on end was taxing. But here he found himself on a walk. After much pestering, spam texting, and threatening to take him to Saturday game night with the others, Blue had managed to convince Error to leave his house.

“Just go for a walk, that's all I'm asking for.”

And so here he was, walking down the street of a lesser-visited part of town. It's old, run down, and practically deserted. The only people he's seen so far have been two teens, some guy sitting at an overgrown cemetery, and some idiot on a bike who almost ran him over. Not the best, but better than the park. It was admittedly nice, the cool autumn breeze refreshing, sending leaves drifting down the trees. Okay so maybe Blue had a point. If he was getting sappy over some trees (heh, sap), then maybe he needed to get out more often. But where was he meant to go? Everywhere had too many people, people who got too close or talked too loud, or existed in his presence too much. Inside in the comfort of his own home was much better.

A leaf caused him to slip, managing to balance himself before landing on his ass. "Well, fuck you too nature. I didn't want to be outside anyways..." he grumbled to himself. That was enough outside for one day.

Walking back, he passed that same cemetery again. With that same person sitting there. How long has it been? Surely passed the normal amount of time spent mourning.. Odd, but who was he to judge? You want to spend 30 minutes mourning someone in a rundown graveyard, be his guest.

This is stupid. Error thinks as he packs his bag. Blue yarn, different sized knitting needles, a snack, a phone battery, his glasses. Not that he planned on staying long, but best be prepared for anything. Slipping on his shoes, he opened the door to his apartment, grabbed his keys, locked the door, and slipped out into the chilly Autumn air.

Walking down the path, avoiding puddles. Right. It had rained yesterday and all throughout the night. Maybe this wasn't- *no*. He's already over halfway there, it's too late to turn back now. PLus, his curiosity is winning out over his concern. Stars this path really needed to be redone…

Opening the gate to the cemetery with a loud creak, he made his way in. Good, the stranger is here today. With that, he settles down on a mostly dry bench, and gets to work knitting, all the while keeping an eye on the stranger, mustering up the courage to go say hello.

It's him again. At Least Ink thinks it's a him. He hasn't seen another person so close, yet alone inside the graveyard. Like, Ink has seen him walking around, always with that perpetual scowl on his face, but he's always stayed on the path. But now he's here? Why? Ink curiosity got the better of him, and before he knew it, he was making his way over to the bench. What was he even planning on doing? ‘Go say hi? Damnit Ink, you're a ghost, he can't even see you.’ But did he care? Hah, absolutely not. Shoot the guy for being desperate for company, even if said company is completely oblivious to his existence.

Taking a seat, two things happened. One the stranger moved slightly, almost as if shifting away from him. But okay, maybe it's just the perpetual chill of the dead. But the second thing he did freaked him out. He looked at him. Not through him or in his general direction. No, he looked at him, staring him in the eyes with a curious look.

“Do you, uh, need something..?”

“You can see me?!” Ink yelled in an outburst, shooting up from his seat

“Uh, yes..? Is it that surprising? I mean, if you wanted to hide away from people this is a good spot but you don't exactly blend in…”

“Is it surpri- yes it's surprising! Who are you? Are you also dead? But- but how can you leave your area? Oh my stars, there's so many questions I need to ask you!” He squealed, leaning closer, looming over the stranger

“Can you back up?”

“Oh- yeah yeah yeah, personal space, I get it.” Ink said, practically vibrating with excitement as he took a step back. “So uh, hi, I'm Ink! I'm dead, obviously., and I kinda live here as the resident ghost!

“...wait. Dead? Like six feet under dead?”

“Well, last I checked, yeah. Humans can't see me, can't leave the boundaries of the graveyard, can't interact with anything from outside the fence, normal ghost stuff. I don't know about you, but when leaves from trees outside blow in here, it gets sooo trippy. Because it's, like, right there, but it's not. You get what I'm saying?”

“This has to be some sick joke. You can't be- it's not- just… how?”

“Are you… not a ghost?”

“No, I'm not. I'm completely alive.”

“And you can see me. Have you always been able to see ghosts? Do you know the cause of it? Have you had some near death experience that caused it or were you born with it?”

“No, no, and no idea. Also back up. Again.” The stranger said, scooting back. He should really get this guys name… “Are you sure you understand the concept of personal space? Forget it, oh course you don't. You said I'm the first person you've seen in years? Exactly how long have you been dead?”

“Umm. That's a good question. I don't know how long I've been here. Everything starts blurring together at some point.”

“Do you atleast know how you died?”

“Nope!”

“A name..?”

“Ink. My name is Ink. AtLeast, that's what's on my tombstone. Here, I can show you! Follow me!” Ink said, outstretching a hand.

“...I can walk on my own. Just lead the way.”

This was a mess. A ghost. He's talking to a literal ghost. That explains everything. Why he always saw them- Ink- in the cemetery. Ink. The name didn't ring any bells, but then again, he wasn't one to pay any attention to deaths. He didn't even know his neighbors, why should he care about some random person?

A random person that only he can see.

Staring down at the gravestone, the situation hit him like a truck. He's really talking to a ghost.

“Wait, are there no other ghosts here?” He asked, looking around at the other graves. Granted there weren't a lot, some was better than none.

“There used to be one, but he, uh, passed along a while ago. Ghosts don't stay around for forever y'know. Whether its a ghost finally being put to rest, a final task complete, or just their life force giving out, every ghost disappears.”

“So why are you still here?”

“That's a good question. I don't remember. I don't remember a lot of things. I know my name, and that's about it. Oh! Speaking of names, I don't think you ever gave me yours!

“Error. My name is Error.”

“Error, huh? Well it's a pleasure to meet you!” Ink said, outstretching his hand.”

“I don't do touch.”

“Why not?”

“I just don't. Stars, you're an annoying ghost. I'm done here.” He said, packing up his forgotten project

“One, rude. Two, you can't just leave yet!”

“I can and I will. I've got other things to do besides sit here and talk to a ghost.”

“But you'll come back. Right? Please..?”

“I'll consider it. But don't get your hopes up.”
