ISAGI YOICHI. when he misunderstood something on valentine's day—
HE realizes that he has the biggest crush on you when you walked towards him on valentine's day with a beautiful decorated, red box in your hands. Actually it was like a normal day for him—considering that he didn't receive any chocolate.
Well it's not like he minded anyway. Again, valentine's day was always just like another day in school. Yeah but that was until he saw you at the end of the day in all your glory with chocolate in your hand, a bright smile on your lips.
The sun itself shone down on the school, capturing your beauty just right, reminding him of those typical romance movies you never stop talking about. Nonetheless, was that chocolate in your hand? Is that box... for him?
Did you actually like him? He thought the rumors were fake? You never gave any signs that you were crushing on him so he never gave those rumors much thought. And now it seems like he should've prepared for this day!
Nevermind, he can give you tenfold back on white day. The only thing he should do is remain calm and sort his messed up thoughts. At the end, he couldn't help but flush as you stood infront of him, your hand with the box stretched out for him.
"Ah, [n-name]..!" he stuttered.
"Here, 'chi." you paused for a moment, making his heart beat even faster, "a boy confessed to me and gave me chocolate. But I don't feel like eating them, so I'm giving it to you."
It came crashing down. The colors of his face drained. His soul almost flew out of his body. "You okay?" you questioned, a little concerned about the state your friend was in. "Hey, wanna go to the nurse office real quick?! Don't die, Yoichi!"
"I-It's alright... I'm alright..." he blurted out to less your worries, "sure... I'll take those chocolates..."
Even though he assured you he was fine while accepting the box, you were still concerned about his dire state. But you eventually figured out why he was so shocked after forcing him to spill out what his problem was.
"Pfft— You're so silly!" you laughed your ass off, slapping his back firmly which made him yelp out in pain. Not that it really hurt, he was just being dramatic. You think. "Quit being dramatic."
"Hey, you slapped my back! And it did hurt..."
You still think your slap wasn't that painful after he scooted further away from you. "Stop exaggerating." you deadpanned before standing up from the bench, surprising him slightly by the abrupt movement. "Wait here."
With that, you left. Wow, did you really take your leave after slapping his back? Was he actually exaggerating? His back still hurts though. "Did I really just mess up my chance?" he asked himself, his breath hitched, "is she mad?"
Okay, please tell Isagi Yoichi he did not lose his bestfriend since primary school over something that petty. Well, he did thought you had a crush on him. But he would've accepted! Wait, he would've dated you? His best friend? What.
"Calm down and stop overthinking. She will come back." he muttered under his breath, hiding his face in his hands as he bent forward to support his elbows on top of his knees. "after all, she demanded that I should wait. I'm a bit distressed, that's all."
Maybe he should ask you out instead of the other way around. Yeah, maybe he should shoot his shot. You wouldn't reject him, would you? "Maybe I am delusional." he huffed, the blush slowly crept up to his cheeks.
All of a sudden—he felt something cold against his neck that resulted in him flinching. It was too cold for his liking. "Ah, cold!" he immediately sprang up from the bench as a reflex and took a few steps away.
Only to see you behind the seat with a confused expression.
"[name], stop scaring me! This isn't the first time I told you to quit!"
"What were you mumbling to yourself?" you huffed before throwing him something to his direction.
Isagi didn't had time to react but was fast enough to catch the box you had thrown. "Is that chocolate?" he blinked for a moment, not being able to tear his eyes away from the velvet box. This little box was prettier than the other one.
"Yeah. Thought it might cheer you up." you opened the can of cold soda you brought with you. "It's valentine's day, so a little present from your dearest friend won't hurt."
Taking in the sight infront of him, he felt how his face slightly heated up. "Thanks." was this a confession? Was this the confession he needed to be called delusional now? The box was really pretty. Even though it's bought.
"Make sure to pay back tenfold on white day, yes?" you teased him.
"Of course." he answered.
You were surprised by his beaming smile, not expecting this kind of response. So you returned his smile.
After that day, he saw you in an entirely different light. And you did so too.
After all, you're the funniest and prettiest! You're also the one who talked with him without hesitation on your first day of school even though your friends warned you about his weird behaviour. But you shrugged your shoulders with a playful smile.
BACHIRA MEGURU. when he took in the sincerity in your eyes—
BACHIRA liked you. Not the romantic like-like, rather the plantonic like-like as a friend. But he somehow liked you more than a friend, less than a lover. Something inbetween probably. Again, not that he cares though.
You've been pretty good friends since then, always sitting next to him during most of the classes. And he's also the first one who gets asked by you if you wanna team up for the next school project—warning, he never does one thing to.
The only thing he'd do while you're doing the project is yap, yap and yap. You're doing the whole work. But he does help you if you need opinion or anything else. "Can you hand me the glue?" or "Scissors." or "What do you think? Is the text too small?"
Fast forward—you've grown to be pretty good friends. Silly jokes and banters never came to an end, the laughs were light and pleasant to the ears, shared hugs were warm and cuddly. People assumed you were a couple to be honest.
"Why did the crab cross the road? It didn’t—it used the sidewalk." he mimicked the tongs of a crab, arousing a laugh out of you.
"You're so silly, Meguru!" you laughed.
The jokes would've reminded someone of a dad joke, but for you, it was a first-class joke from the best comedian. Your shoulders slightly shook before you tried to calm yourself down, your aura beamed brightly like his as you smiled.
"Never stop being funny."
"Yes, ma'am!" he grinned, folding his arms on the table, "I had a joke about paper today, but it was tearable!"
One thing Bachira loved was that you shared a humor, laughing at the dumbest jokes together was like a dream for him. "You're so cute!" you squealed, grabbing his surprise soft cheeks. "Your cheeks are the best, man! Ahh!"
Not to mention, whenever you came close, he would notice the twinkle in your eyes—a twinkle that allowed him to believe your unmatched kindness and sincerity were genuine. Genuine for him and him alone.
People do say, eyes are the window of the owner's heart and soul. And Bachira always decided which person had good or bad intentions through their eyes. They were either carrying hatred in them or sincerity like you.
To be frank, he can see a person's heart the clearest through their eyes. And sometimes, when you're talking about things you love, he can't help but stare into your eyes the entire time and admire how they began to shine.
Unfortunately, he's unable to listen what you were saying, making you repeat things very often. Just like right now. "—guru? Meguru, are you zoning out again?" you asked, a little concerned about his attention span.
"What did you say?" he chimed in with a innocent smile, looking like a baby chick that was chirping.
"Ah nevermind!" you huffed, crossing your arms.
It's then when he realized he was being oblivious to his feelings all the time. Did he ever notice how pretty you are up close? Is this what people call crush? If it is, Bachira thinks he fell real deep for you. Like he has he biggest crush on you.
His grin faded for a second staring at your eyes that were filled with worry. "You okay?" you asked, touching his shoulder gently. Wow, he just fell in love with your eyes—they were genuine. Of course. We're talking about you.
"[name]..." he paused to jump on top of you, latching himself onto you, "I love you so much!"
"H-Hey, we're faLING!" you lost your balance.
And yet, he didn't let go.
Rin is also the one who thinks, wow how did she do this? Like, bringing him to the cinema to watch some damn romance movie. He would've rather watched the new horror movie that's out, but you wouldn't quit whining about the new lovey-dovey movie.
ITOSHI RIN. when he caught himself imagining a future with you—
RIN thinks you're delusional. You're always talking about your dream man and then giggle like a highschool girl, ignoring the fact that you currently are a highschool girl. You were a bit— scratch that, you were delusional with those standards.
Sitting next to next each other, his eyes bore itself into the big screen that displayed some tragic scene. What a typical story. What a tragic scene. He cannot sit there anymore, the seat felt itchy and his mind drifted away.
Not long until he'll fall asleep. He can't though, not after hearing a quiet sob from his right. His eyes wandered to the side, only for them to land on your face—covered with tears as you sobbed like always when something sad happend.
You looked like the actress on the movie who also was crying because their love was impossible, forbidden love. "Quit crying like a baby." he whispered to not disturb other people, handing over a handkerchief for you.
"Thanks..." you mumbled and wiped your tears away.
“Wait for me, my lady...”
Rin continued to watch how the knight was giving the lady a handkerchief, his personal one he spent hours one to craft and decorate. "Once we'll see each other again, you can give it back. But I prefer you'd keep it." the knight swept her hair behind her hair.
"Please come back quickly." she plead.
"I will. That's a promise."
Suddenly, he felt someone lightly shaking his shoulder. It was you, giving him back his handkerchief. "Keep it." he paused. Just like in the movie. Did he catch himself locked in because of that movie? "Err..." he trailed off, knitting his eyebrows in confusion.
"Here." seems like you didn't hear it. "Or should I wash it before returning it?"
Quietly, he took back his handkerchief while shaking his head. "It's fine..." he grumbled under his breath, gripping onto the piece of cloth. His cheeks heated up because of the embarrassment he just said. He was not the knight in the movie.
But he secretly wouldn't mind if you're the lady. He also wouldn't mind, seeing you in the crowd of people, cheering his name during a match. He wouldn't mind if you kissed him for every goal he scored. He wouldn't—you infected him.
Did... did Rin just imagined you as a couple? You must have infected him with those thoughts. It's your fault. But he was wondering what kind of wedding dress would suit you perfectly. He could already hear the bells ringing—shit.
He deadpanned before hiding the upper part of his face with his hand. What is he thinking about? He was already imagining you two during your wedding. You would've looked beautiful though—and he said you were delusional!
"Rin, can I get my drink?" your voice snapped him out of your mind, asking for his drink. Why the heck does he have your drink?
"Huh?" he furrowed his eyebrows, giving you a drink—not seeing there was acutally a second drink.
"It's the wrong one... Did you buy sprite?" you returned the drink. "Rin, you gave me your drink."
Shoot.
"Sorry." he apologized, giving you the other one. Shit. Did you share an indirect kiss? He was drinking out of that one earlier! His face heated up because of... embarrassment? He is being lukewarm as fuck.
"Hope you don't mind that I drank out of your cup..." you whispered.
"I don't." he answered without hesitation.
The only thing he minds is that he caught himself slacking. "I'm going to the bathroom." he excused himself, standing up and quickly made his way out of here as you watched him in concern. Since when was the cinema so hot?
No Rin. You just realized that you had the biggest crush on [name].
"Did I do something wrong?" you muttered before returning to the movie. "Nevermind, it's an Itoshi we're talking about. He can deal with it."
At the end of all Rin knew—your love wouldn't be impossible.

"JJ, I need your help."
The blonde woman froze in the doorway.
"Did you kill someone?" she asked after a moment. And though she seemed surprised, her voice had already adjusted to the situation, lowering into a conspiratorial whisper. As if signaling her readiness to help hide a body. A friend in crime is a friend indeed.
Or however it goes.
If your eyebrows competed in the Olympic high jump, they’d win a gold medal.
"What? How did you even…wait, is that seriously the first thing that crossed your mind when you saw me?" You watched as your friend shrugged. Her posture relaxed slightly, and the corner of her mouth twitched upward at the sight of your expression. "Anyway, never mind. Are you going to let me in, or are we just going to stand here?"
For a moment, she studied you intently before stepping aside. You’d known she would; it was exactly why you’d come to her. You crossed into her apartment with heavy, restless steps, stopping only when you reached the living room—and only then realizing you hadn’t even taken off your coat.
Pressing a hand to your forehead, you turned to face JJ, whose worry was written all over her face.
“Well? Are you going to tell me what’s going on?”
You inhaled deeply, trying to steady yourself as you prepared to say the words out loud.
Words that felt absurd.
Words that had invaded your mind, refusing to let go.
Words you couldn’t decide whether to embrace or reject entirely.
“I’m in love.”
Silence filled the room. A soft, disbelieving snort escaped her lips, quickly morphing into loud, unabashed laughter.
“You gotta be kidding me.”
“I’m not. Why? Is it really that strange for me to be in love?”
JJ snorted again, shaking her head from side to side.
“No. What’s strange is you storming into my apartment like a hurricane, nervous and… terrified, just to tell me you’re in love. Seriously, I thought something was wrong!”
“Because something is wrong,” you hissed through clenched teeth.
You weren’t angry—not at JJ, not at yourself, not at anyone. It was more… the weight of it all, the unfamiliar feelings that left you overwhelmed, spilling out in sudden bursts of frustration.
Your romantic life up until now had always existed on the fringes of your attention. Present, but without all the…symptoms. The dry throat whenever they were around, the inability to get them out of your head.
It all felt like something out of a sugar-coated entry in a teenager’s pink diary, not the mind of a grown woman.
“I’ll make you some tea,” JJ offered suddenly. The worry that had been etched on her face earlier was completely gone, replaced by genuine amusement at your behavior, visible in the soft smile tugging at her lips. “You’ll tell me everything. But now, take off that coat before you overheat…”
True to her word, fifteen minutes later, the two of you were sitting on the couch with steaming mugs of tea in your hands.
While JJ had been in the kitchen preparing it, doubts began to creep in. Was it really a good idea to tell anyone about this? About your…infatuation?
Even though you were friends, the whole thing made you feel a little pathetic.
“So…” she began after a long moment of silence. “Are you going to say anything?”
You couldn’t find the right words. Instead of answering, you took a big sip of hot tea and winced as it burned your throat.
“Okay,” JJ sighed, setting her mug down on the table and folding her arms across her chest. “If you’re not going to, let me just guess.”
“Since when are you a psychic?”
“Not a psychic. Just someone who spends most of her life around profilers. That should be enough to figure out why my friend is acting so weird about a simple crush.”
“Can we please not call it a crush?”
“Love interest. Better?” You muttered not really but she completely ignored it and continued. “Let’s start with the fact that you came here. To me. Considering how private you are, it must mean you’re totally losing it over this. You seem confused, like you don’t know what to feel. You’re unsure whether they feel the same, so you don’t know what to do. And it doesn’t help that youve never had to chase anyone before. You’ve always been the one that guys chased after, not the other way around. And…” she hesitated, taking a breath. “The fact that you seem embarrassed, plus how much you work, leaving no time for dating, leads me to think… it’s probably someone from our team.”
With every sentence that left her lips, your hands tightened more around the mug. When she fell silent, your knuckles turned completely white. Everything she said was true.
"What should I do?" you asked quietly.
"Well, it would definitely be easier for me to advise you if you tell me who it’s about."
Instinctively, you shook your head. You didn’t want to reveal your feelings that much. Surprisingly, you weren’t worried that she would figure it out. After all, it wasn’t that obvious...
"Is it Spencer?"
"Fuck, is it really that obvious?" you blurted out in panic. If she could notice, who else could? The rest of the team? Reid himself?
JJ made a sound somewhere between a cough and a choked laugh.
"Actually, I was just going to randomly list all the options one by one," she said, then let out a short sigh, raising her eyebrows. "You surprised me a little. I mean, it's not that I think you two don’t fit together..."
You knew exactly what she meant. Your specialty at work was kidnappings, often handling negotiations and providing detailed instructions to the families of victims. You had learned to project an aura of calm control, and more often than not, you came across as stiff in the eyes of others. Something that had been pointed out to you multiple times in life, whether in jest or not. Reid, in many ways, was your complete opposite. While you surrounded yourself with a shield of silence due to stress, his mouth never seemed to stop. While you marched forward with apparent indifference, he seemed genuinely interested in everything happening around him, every tiny process on this planet. And maybe that was what fascinated you most about him? Or perhaps it was more about his extraordinary mind, knowing the answer to every question that ever drifted through your thoughts? Or how effortlessly he could make you laugh? Or maybe it was the ease with which you could gently tug at the edge of that serious mask, always settled upon your face, and lift it just enough to let a certain lightness slip inside? To breathe?
"You should just invite him somewhere," JJ snapped you out of your thoughts.
"I tried," you said, wincing slightly at the memory of that failed attempt. Well, not entirely failed...
"Are you talking about how you asked in the office, in front of everyone, if anyone would like to go to the movies with you on Friday, and almost everyone volunteered?" she asked, amused. "That's not how you ask someone out on a date!"
"What else was I supposed to do? Walk up and ask if he wants to go to the movies with me?"
JJ blinked.
"Yes? Exactly like that? I mean, that’s how it usually goes. I don’t know what’s so weird about it for you."
"I’m just not made for this," you blurted out, pressing your lips together. "I can’t stand the thought that he might say no, because maybe he’s not interested in me. Not like I am in him."
"No offense, but you're such a hopeless case," she sighed heavily. "In that case, you need to find out. Invite him somewhere, not necessarily on a date, just a casual hangout. Spend some time together and you'll find out if he likes you."
"What if he doesn't?"
"What if he does?"
After a moment of silence, you managed to smile weakly.
"Maybe you're right," you said, emphasizing the first word. And before saying anything else, you nodded, as if giving yourself courage. "I'll give it a try."
*
Well, you didn’t get a chance to put that plan into motion.
Work didn’t slow down for even a moment, throwing you back onto the jet with your team, deep in discussion about everything uncovered so far regarding the unsub and the victims. Hardly the right time to ask someone on a date.
As usual, the case file commanded your full attention, isolating you from the buzz of conversation around you. You always needed a moment to absorb and analyze the details on your own. The voices of your teammates reached your ears faintly, their words blending into background noise—until one particular sentence jolted your brain awake, cutting through like a baseball slicing the air.
"You’ve never been to New York?" you asked, directing the question to Spencer, seated beside you, shoulder to shoulder.
All eyes turned to him. Startled by the attention, he gave a small shrug and absently picked up the deck of cards from the table, the ones you’d been playing with before the discussion began.
“We’ve never had a case there before,” he admitted simply.
You closed the folder, and the slight breeze it caused swept a few cards off the table from the game you’d been playing earlier.
“Why am I only now finding out that you’ve never, ever, ever been to New York?” you asked, shaking your head in disbelief. He furrowed his brows, clearly surprised by your emotional reaction.
“I grew up there,” you added.
“And why am I only now finding out that you grew up in New York?” he mimicked your earlier tone. Rolling your eyes, you tried to swat him with the folder, but he deftly dodged it.
“Seriously though, you never told me,” he said.
“Don’t worry, man,” Morgan chimed in from across the table. “She never told me, either. In fact, I’d bet she never told any of us.”
You raised your hands in a defensive gesture.
“None of you ever asked.”
"Does that bother you?" Reid asked, his gaze fixed on you, intense and unwavering. A strand of his slightly too-long hair had slipped out from behind his ear. You had the sudden urge to reach out, tuck it back where it belonged, away from his line of sight. "That I’ve never been there?"
"Of course not," you assured him with a quick huff of laughter. "You just have a lot—and I mean a lot—to catch up on."
"If only I knew someone who knew the city well," he sighed dramatically. "Someone who, for example, grew up there and kept that fact a secret for as long as we know each other. Someone who could show me around..."
"You’d want me to show you around?" The words escaped your mouth a little too quickly, a little too eagerly. Your mind flashed back to your conversation with JJ, to her suggestion that you should invite him somewhere. You’d been too nervous to ask outright, but this? Showing him around the city was a perfect excuse to spend time together!
You felt like an evil mastermind rubbing your hands together in triumph over a new invention that could turn half of humanity into rubber ducks. Quickly, you shook your head, trying to mask the disproportionate excitement now threatening to take over your face.
"I mean, if we had the time. Who knows how demanding this case might end up being."
"Right," he admitted. Some flicker of emotion crossed his face—a flash of something unplaceable. Could it have been a disappointment?
He cleared his throat, a soft, tentative smile tugging at his lips. "But if it turns out we do have time... I’d be very happy if you’d show me a few places."
You couldn’t hold back any longer and allowed yourself a brief smile.
“But just so we’re clear,” you began after a moment, your tone carrying a seriousness that didn’t quite match the expression on your face. “I wasn’t keeping it a secret. Just no one ever asked me!”
Spencer let out a small snort at that.
"You know, I think you're the type of person who could go over a decade without revealing your name just because no one bothered to ask..."
“Are you done with discussing your secrets? Could we get back to focusing on the case?” Hotch’s voice suddenly cut in, sharp and calm, as he glanced at the two of you over the top of his file.
In perfect unison, you both turned toward him, sitting straighter than ever. Out of the corner of your eye, you caught Reid’s gaze for one more fleeting moment.
He wanted you to show him around.
Of course, that didn’t automatically mean he liked you. But it felt like it brought you a step closer to figuring out if there was even the smallest, most microscopic chance that he might feel the same way.
That hopeful thought was quickly chased by doubts—what if he didn’t?
You knew such thoughts would haunt you, tormenting and humiliating you in the quiet moments you were alone with yourself. So, you resolved not to dwell on them for the duration of your time in New York. Instead, you would focus on one thing —making him fall in love with the city where you’d grown up, the city that still held your heart even years after you’d left.
The discussion about the case had ended, but despite that, you continued to carefully examine the files. Well, not exactly them. On the back of the last page, a blank piece of paper, you started writing with the pen you had pulled out of your jacket pocket all the places you could take Spencer. You drifted through memories, trying to recall those places you had visited with your parents, the ones you had gone to with friends after school, the places you were taken on dates...
You crossed them all out. You doubted a sandwich bar would impress him. You didn’t know how many chances you’d have to go anywhere, so you had to aim for something really special. Maybe something that fit more with his interests. A museum? Or something more characteristic of the neighborhood where you’d be staying. A walk on the Brooklyn Bridge?
You felt someone’s gaze on you. You snapped the folder shut as if you had been caught doing something and saw Morgan staring at you with a slightly mocking smile on his lips.
"If you’re playing a tour guide, maybe you’d like to show me around too?" he asked.
You leaned slightly over the table, your face expressionless.
"I’m sure if you ask Garcia nicely, she’ll find you a guide online. At a good price."
"And here she is. The Ice Queen back in shape. Tell me, how’s it that just fifteen minutes ago you were acting completely differently?"
Amused, he shook his head, leaving you with the unsettling thought that maybe it really was that obvious.
*
“Alright. I’m a serial killer and a rapist. I stalk my victims by placing cameras in their apartment. Where do I hide them to get a good view of everything, but at the same time, make sure they're not noticed?”
"Reid, I’m begging you, never say something like that out loud again."
You and Spencer had been sent to the apartment of one of, unfortunately, many victims. All of them had been attacked in their own homes, with no visible signs of forced entry. That was the first puzzling element of this case. The second were the emails Garcia had found in each of the women’s inboxes. Emails suggesting they had been watched for a long time.
You made my favorite pasta for dinner. You should wear the red dress, sweetheart. Actually, who are you planning to meet?
The very thought of someone watching you in your own home sent a shiver down your spine.
“Apologies,” he muttered. “But I’m not under arrest, am I?”
“Who knows? It’d make for some interesting headlines. Or for the title of a true-crime documentary about you. FBI Agent on a Dark Path of Crime…”
“It’s Doctor.”
“My eternal apologies. Does mistaking your title also come with a sentence?”
“Well, we probably wouldn’t be sharing a cell, but maybe we’d run into each other in the cafeteria a few times.”
"I can't wait." You wandered around the apartment, peeking into every spot that came to mind. Since your back was turned to him, he couldn’t see the corners of your mouth curling upward. “You check the bathroom, alright? I don’t even want to imagine where that creep might have hidden a camera. I’ll be terrified to shower in my own place.”
Spencer gave a mock salute, as if you’d just given him an order. Well, in your tone, even polite requests rarely left room for refusal. But before he disappeared into the small bathroom with green-tiled walls, he paused for a moment, his fingers brushing the doorframe.
“That was a joke, right?” he asked, his voice shifting from light to soft and slightly concerned.
You turned toward him, arms crossed over your chest, not entirely sure what he meant.
“I mean…” he started, briefly scratching his forehead. “I just hope you’re not getting too involved in this case. I mean, you are, but not to the point where… where you’re scared afterward. Of being home alone. Taking a shower or…Does that even make sense?”
"That’s..." you began, trying your hardest not to say that’s sweet. The hint of concern that had flickered across his face, present in the way his eyes lingered on you. The fact that your offhand comment had moved him enough to bring it up at all. “Yeah, that does make sense. You know, considering all these women were my age and lived alone, just like me, it does feel a little personal. But don’t worry, I won’t let it stop me from maintaining proper hygiene.”
You tried to steer the conversation away from the unexpected seriousness, to shake off the weight that had suddenly settled over it. Well, you didn’t quite succeed. Spencer didn’t look particularly convinced—or amused. He gave a slight nod, barely noticeable and likely unconscious.
“I just wanted to make sure. That it’s not getting to you. Not… too much,” he clarified. His words grew tangled again. He dropped his gaze to the doorframe, as if contemplating whether to knock his forehead against it. “I’ll check the bathroom.”
You had spent far too long staring at the door behind which he had disappeared. Only shaking your head helped you force yourself to return to work. The victim's apartment wasn't huge; the living room, kitchen, and bedroom were all part of one room. You stopped by the kitchen area, where a large bowl on the counter still contained fresh fruit. Right next to it lay the apartment key, and although you should have been looking for cameras, you hesitantly picked it up. There was no keychain attached to it, nor was it part of a set of several other keys, as people usually did to keep from losing them. A number of disordered conclusions and theories crossed your mind, even though it was just a key, not a significant piece of evidence or something that shouldn't be there. Maybe the apartment's owner had lost the keys not long ago and had had one copied just before her disappearance, which would explain the lack of wear on it.
That lost set might have ended up in the wrong hands. Or it might not have been lost at all, but stolen.
Absentmindedly, you turned it in your hands, your gaze wandering across your surroundings. A very small space, with a real brick wall on one side and a shelf of dishes above the sink. You knew that the camera had to be somewhere in here, after all, one of the emails had referred to a meal cooked by the victim. Eventually, you stopped at a green plant on the shelf, just beside a stack of clean plates. It was artificial, meaning the victim didn't need to water it, which meant it probably hadn't been paid much attention to, and that meant it was a good hiding spot for a hidden camera.
You parted the leaves and took the small black device in your hand.
Instead of calling Spencer, who was still in the bathroom, you tilted your head back and with a sigh, headed toward the balcony doors, feeling a slight ringing in your ears. It was awful. The very thought of being watched in your own apartment, a place where you should feel safest, for an unknown amount of time.
You leaned against the black railing of the small balcony, which was probably there only because of the fire escape stairs running along the entire building. You just needed to breathe in some fresh air, spend literally a minute outside, but as soon as you looked ahead, that minute started turning into minutes.
After you arrived in New York, you immediately got to work on the case; there had been no time for nostalgic sighs over familiar streets.
You tore your gaze away from them only when someone’s silhouette appeared beside you, turned sideways to face you.
“Two cameras in the bathroom, Spencer announced. As per your earlier request, he didn’t say exactly where they were placed, and after his words, a moment of silence fell.
You tried your hardest to ensure that no grimace passed across your face. You considered it unprofessional, getting too emotionally involved in the investigation, imagining yourself in the victim's place. But apparently, it even happened to the best of them.
“You really value your privacy, don’t you?”
You glanced at him from the corner of your eye, stopping yourself from rolling them.
"Are you still dwelling on what I said earlier? I'm fine, Spencer."
"I’m only dwelling on what I’ve noticed a long time ago," he said, ignoring your dismissive response. "Well, and also making sure you’re okay. But what I really mean is that you don’t talk much about yourself. I only just found out today that you grew up here. I’m not saying this in a bad way, I get that you might not want to tell me everything about yourself…"
"It’s not about you," you interrupted him, finally turning so you were fully facing him. You once again took note that the balcony was really small. You realized how close you were standing. The closeness that made honesty a bit more necessary. The closeness that made you swallow more often from the dryness in your throat. You cleared your throat, wanting to clarify your somewhat vague words. "I mean, it’s not like I have a problem telling you about me, it’s just… I don’t know, I’ve always been like this. I never really know what’s worth sharing and what’s not. I’ve always been better at listening to what others have to say."
Reid listened to your words with understanding written on his face. You had the feeling that he had become a little bit lighter. He glanced briefly at the railing, and when he looked back at you, he squinted against the sunlight that was streaming onto the balcony.
"I was a bit worried that your silence was because it tires you how much I can talk," he admitted, his tone betraying a hint of hesitation.
You almost let out a laugh.
"It’s actually quite the opposite, trust me."
With those words, you turned back towards the city, trying to avoid his gaze.
"I like listening to you," you added quietly.
You thought he wouldn't add anything more. That you'd both remain frozen for another prolonged moment on this balcony, with the cameras you'd found tucked into your pockets and the looming return to work on the case. That you'd step back inside the apartment, letting the chill in your cheeks fade along with their faintly rosy hue.
"And I..." he began, nervously shifting his grip on the railing. "I really like talking to you."
You strained your memory, but no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't recall any other day at work when you'd smiled so many times.
“The rest is probably still in the other victims’ apartments,” you stated cautiously, recalling the locations of those places. Speaking each word slowly helped you build the courage to voice the spontaneous idea that had just come to you. “We’ve found what we were looking for. Hotch hasn’t called us yet, so I guess we’re free. Are you...are you maybe hungry?”
*
Your knees had brushed against each other.
“Sorry,” Spencer muttered immediately, shifting his chair back slightly.
You pretended to be preoccupied with surveying the interior of the café. To be fair, there was a lot to take in. The décor defied categorization, with every wall covered in a different material and painted a different color. One wall was entirely obscured by an antique bookshelf. From what you could tell, the mismatch extended to the furniture; no two chairs were alike. Some were made of different types of wood, others upholstered in leather, and one even spun on a swivel.
In short, the place looked like the kind of room you’d stumble into during a fever dream—where two chubby cats braid your hair while you have a very serious conversation with a purple teapot trying to convince you to take out a loan at its bank. And somehow, none of it feels the least bit strange. In fact, you’d wake up from the dream genuinely considering the loan.
One of your hands rested on your knee, the same one his had accidentally grazed. You tapped your fingers lightly on it, keeping rhythm with the pop song playing faintly in the background. The other hand was tucked beneath your chin in a classic thinker’s pose. Except, instead of contemplating the mysteries of the universe or arriving at profound insights, you were solely focused on one pressing question: Who on earth decided to use such narrow tables? Tables that constantly forced you to be hyper-aware of the risk of touching his leg. Again.
“There used to be a sandwich bar here,” you said, tearing the croissant apart with your fingers. “I don’t know why, but I didn’t even consider that anything could have changed. Sorry.”
“There’s nothing to apologize for,” Spencer assured you. “Actually, I didn’t realize how much I needed coffee until I caught the smell. Did you come here often?”
“All the time,” you admitted briefly.
You noticed him looking at you with a hint of amusement, which made you furrow your brows.
“What?”
“Nothing,” he replied dismissively, turning the cup in his hands. “It’s just…I remembered what we were talking about earlier, and I thought this might be one of those things worth sharing.”
“Alright,” you said, rolling your eyes, though there wasn’t an ounce of irritation in the gesture. “I used to come here with my friends literally every Friday. It was cheap and relatively close to our school, and none of us had a driver’s license yet, so we walked everywhere, complaining about sweaty people on the subway. Do you think that piece of information is going to be useful to you in any way? Was it worth sharing?”
“Well, believe it or not, I absolutely do,” he chuckled. “Besides, you never know which piece of information might come in handy someday.”
You summed it up with another roll of your eyes, but a soft smile remained stubbornly on your lips. You were genuinely pleased with yourself for breaking the ice and inviting him somewhere, even if at any moment this brief reprieve could be interrupted by a call from your boss, demanding your immediate return. JJ had been right. All it took was just doing it.
“I promised to show you around a bit, remember?” you asked. Having scored a small victory, you decided to keep the momentum going and suggest taking him to a truly special place.
“The offer hasn’t expired, right?”
“It doesn’t have an expiration date. It just depends on, well, our work. I doubt we’ll be able to visit many places. So I’ve made…” you hesitated, unsure if you should admit to spending two full hours obsessively considering where you could take him and even writing it down in the case files. “I’ve thought it through and picked out a few key ones. Places I think you’ll like. So, whenever we have time, maybe in the evening… though no, some of them might be closed then…”
"Places you think I might like?" Spencer interjected gently. You stopped, surprised, unsure why he focused on that particular part of your sentence. "What about the ones that are important to you?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean..." he trailed off, making some vague gesture with his hand. "I was curious about the places you used to visit when you lived here. The ones that meant something to you. Are they on the list, too?"
You didn’t need to physically glance at the list; you had it memorized entirely and knew they weren’t on it. You had chosen the places solely with him in mind—his interests and your desire to impress him. You cleared your throat.
“We don’t have much time,” you gently reminded him. “I wanted to show you the really important places. The highlights of New York or something that would stick in your memory. Not some sandwich bar that, by the way, doesn’t even exist anymore, or a drive-in theater...”
“A drive-in theater?”
“You know, you drive up to a spot and watch a movie being projected. I absolutely loved it, really, but it doesn’t matter because there’s no way we could arrange something like that now.” you explained, your thoughts oddly lingering on the idea of spending time with him in a similar way. "God, I didn’t expect being a tour guide to be this hard. Not only do we barely have time for anything I planned, but my client keeps complaining the whole time..."
"Okay, fine, sorry," he raised his hands in a defensive gesture, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly. "Apologies for wanting to spend time the way you would enjoy. What a jerk I am."
"Exactly, you should be ashamed. I’ll add it to your bill," you teased, taking a sip of your coffee, which you’d completely forgotten about. It had gone cold during your conversation.
"And now, completely seriously," Spencer began again, the sarcastic expression disappearing from his face as he looked at you with genuine interest, those brown eyes steady and curious. "I’ll let you take me anywhere you want. So, what places did you pick?"
You were internally excited to finally tell him about them.
But then, your phone rang.
*
The rest of the day was intense and entirely consumed by the investigation. Unfortunately, you didn’t uncover anything that could genuinely bring you closer to catching the perpetrator. In fact, you didn’t even have a profile yet.
Each of you felt a bit disheartened by the lack of progress. After all, every passing day meant a greater risk that another victim could be harmed in her own home. It was even more unsettling knowing that some woman was likely being stalked at that very moment.
Still, despite the mediocre morale and mounting exhaustion, you managed to summon enough energy and resolve to visit one particular place.
You were just returning from there, walking one behind the other down the narrow hallway of the hotel where you'd been stationed. You could feel Spencer's presence and hear his footsteps just behind you. In your mind, you stubbornly tried to figure out what you should say before you both retreated to your respective rooms.
There was a certain lightness in you, brought on by the release of tension through a pleasant evening, but also a heaviness caused by the weight of your feelings. It had been nice. It had been... wonderful. Yet, it hadn’t brought you any closer to knowing whether he liked you.
Maybe you should talk to JJ again.
You stopped suddenly, hearing Spencer let out a quiet sigh as he almost bumped into your back. You turned on your heel, slowly, feeling a dryness creep into your throat.
Spencer was standing just in front of you, his gaze shifting uncertainly between your face and the floor. He opened his mouth, as if to say something, but immediately closed it, lost in thought. You pressed your lips into a thin line, determined to wait for whatever he might want to say.
“Where are you two coming from at this hour?”
The door to the room next to you suddenly swung open, and Morgan’s head poked out, a smirk plastered across his face as he looked at the two of you.
You both exchanged a brief glance before locking your eyes on him. The sudden presence of another person, standing in front of you with his arms crossed and curiosity in his gaze, made it painfully clear how close you had become to each other.
The most awkward thing you could possibly do now was to step away from each other. And, well, that’s exactly what Spencer did.
You didn’t even flinch, glancing briefly at your colleague.
“From the library,” you replied.
It was the truth. In a compromise between places that might interest him and those that were important to you, you had ended up there. And not just any library, but the largest one in the entire district.
As soon as the thought crossed your mind, a warmth spread inside you. The warmth of walking among the shelves, barely catching glimpses of each other’s faces through the surrounding orange light of the lamps fighting to dominate over the engulfing shadows. The warmth of your clumsy attempts to focus on the environment, not on Spencer’s face, which was so mesmerized as he studied the books. His brow slightly furrowed, hair escaping from its place and falling across his face. Eyes fixed on one spot, pupils stretching across the entire surface of his irises, creating two truly hypnotizing points on his face, which you struggled to avoid staring into.
“From the library at night?” Morgan repeated, shaking his head with a mix of amusement and disbelief. “I knew you were a nerd, Reid, but you… I’m really disappointed in you.”
“Oh no, how will I survive this?” you scoffed. You saw Spencer briefly smile as well. “Anyway, goodnight, my dear coworkers. See you tomorrow.”
With those words, you made your way to your room, feeling somewhat like an escapee.
You knew that there were only a few hours of sleep left, and you needed to at least function a bit in the morning, so you immediately headed for the shower, grabbing something to change into on the way. Two things were on your mind. Was Morgan still torturing Spencer with questions in the hallway? And did Spencer enjoy your time together as much as you did?
As you analyzed your interactions with him, you realized there was an awkwardness you hadn’t noticed before. You never realized that awkwardness could be sweet. You’d always seen it as a purely negative feeling, something that caused embarrassment. But it could also make your heart race and cause your breathing to quicken. And dizziness, when you tried to control it all.
You felt like you had regressed to your high school days. You almost wanted to run to your friend and excitedly tell her all about the evening. For a moment, you even considered it, but JJ was probably already asleep.
You stepped out of the shower, wrapped in a towel, and when you pulled on a tank top and some loose pajama pants, you started gathering the clothes you’d worn earlier that day. As you lifted your pants, something small fell out of the pocket and clinked as it hit the floor.
A single key.
It took you a moment to realize that you must have accidentally taken it from one of the victims' apartments. Back when you discovered the hidden camera in the plant, you must have mindlessly shoved it into your pocket. A nervous pang of anxiety shot through your chest. You shouldn’t have taken anything from that place. Another sharp pang followed quickly after, as the sight in front of your eyes suddenly blurred, and something started to form in your mind.
At first, it was a shy thought. But almost immediately, it became a thought that needed to be discussed. Because it could push the investigation forward.
You rushed into the hallway before even deciding where to go. There, you turned in circles, unsure of what to do. This wasn’t an idea that warranted waking Hotch; honestly, you would’ve felt foolish going to him in the middle of the night with just a flicker of an insight in your head. So you thought of someone else—sharp in the way you needed, incredibly intelligent, and probably still awake, since you had just parted ways a mere fifteen minutes ago.
You knocked on Spencer's door.
“I have a theory,” you announced, shifting nervously from foot to foot.
His face registered surprise at the sight of you at this hour, his hand—still rubbing sleep from his eye—froze in place before dropping to his side. He must’ve just been lying down.
“A theory about what?” he asked, his voice a little rough with sleep.
Quite a pleasant rasp. Wait, no, refocusing…
“About who built the pyramids in Giza,” you huffed, the potential solution to the case accompanied by a little stress, and stress, for you, always came out in the form of a biting sarcasm as soon as you opened your mouth.
You slipped past him, effectively inviting yourself inside. Spencer was too surprised to step aside in time, so you inadvertently brushed against his side. Well, you didn’t want to have this conversation in the hallway, for fear that your voices would attract Morgan or anyone else.
“Well, it’s not really a secret, despite what some people like to think,” Spencer started, closing the door behind you and turning uncertainly toward you. His gaze quickly darted to you, sweeping over your body. He shook his head slightly, as if trying to focus. He must’ve been sleepy, and it probably wasn’t coming easily. “The construction of those monumental structures required the labor of many workers…”
“I have a theory about the case.”
You didn’t really think it would need further clarification. Without fully controlling your movements, you collapsed onto his bed, sitting at the edge. Suddenly, the confidence you had felt in the bathroom vanished.
He didn’t sit down, instead standing in front of you, his hands constantly shifting position. At one moment, they were crossed over his chest, and then, after a brief pause, he dropped them back to his sides. His gaze seemed restless too—almost strange. Sometimes it dropped to you, but then quickly changed direction, as though he was trying to find the right exit off a roundabout before giving up and returning to the starting point. That is, back to you. But you were too lost in your own thoughts to wonder what it was about your appearance that so intensely drew his gaze.
"Okay," he said slowly, coughing into his clenched fist to clear the roughness in his voice. "Okay. I guess that's a good thing. What's the theory? Do you need to talk it through?"
“That’s why I came here,” you replied, taking in a little more air than necessary, trying to logically connect the scattered conclusions that had formed in your mind. “Listen, it might turn out that what I’m saying makes absolutely no sense. But it might also turn out that it does have some logic to it. I want you to tell me which of these options you think is true. So... I couldn’t stop thinking about that key in the victim’s apartment, the one we were in. It looked brand new, like it had just been made. At first, I thought maybe she’d lost the old one somewhere. It ended up in the wrong hands. The unsub’s hands. That would explain how he got inside without leaving any signs of forced entry. But that would make sense if there had only been one victim. There were many, though, and it’s impossible for each one of them to have lost their keys recently. Unless they were stolen. Or maybe it was the loss of the keys that led to them becoming victims in the first place.”
The biggest mystery that had come up on your team’s path was how the unsub was even choosing his victims. They were all around the same age, all women, and lived alone. Other than that, they were completely different. They lived in different places, looked nothing alike, had different professions, and were of different races.
“So…” you continued, searching his face for any sign. Any trace of understanding, a hint that he was connecting the dots. Some confirmation. But Spencer just stood there, motionless, looking like he was only half present, his gaze fixed on you.
“I came to what might be...a bit of a bold conclusion. Maybe the unsub works as someone who makes spare keys. People come to him, including women. He picks the ones that fit his preferences, makes himself a copy, and that’s how he gets in to install hidden cameras. And then... well, to…” You paused, noticing his unwavering stare. “What? What are you looking at me like that for? Do you think I’m talking nonsense?”
He looked like he had suddenly snapped out of some daydream. He shook his head, scratching his chin, and taking a step in place, all of these actions flowing together in an incoherent, chaotic manner.
“I don’t think so,” he said after a moment. “It’s... interesting, and…you know, I think this is the first time I’ve seen you in something other than a formal outfit.”
Your eyebrows shot up. That was the last thing you expected him to say. While he had been fidgeting earlier, now he stood completely still. It was true, you usually dressed quite elegantly, not just for work. But you didn’t know why it seemed to impress him so much.
You didn’t know until you looked down and remembered your top. The one hastily thrown on, with a deep neckline. Seriously, was that really all about it?
You sighed in disbelief and stood up from the bed.
"Sure," you let out a biting chuckle, though, despite not wanting to admit it to yourself, you could feel a tingling sensation creeping under your skin. "Tell a guy about your breakthrough discovery, and he won't even listen, too busy staring at your boobs."
You took two steps toward the door, but Spencer blocked your way, grabbing your forearm.
“Th-that's not what I meant!” he stammered in an unusually high-pitched tone, his wide eyes reflecting panic. Whether from your sudden reaction or the fact that you caught him.
His hand loosened its grip on your arm, just below your elbow, but he didn't let go. The way he held on brought you closer together, and the realization of how near you were, along with his face right in front of yours, stole the breath from your chest. You couldn't help but reflect on how everything so far had made you both close in proximity. First the narrow balcony where your shoulders almost brushed against each other, then the tiny table in the café where your knees kept knocking, even the way you accidentally brushed past him when you entered his room.
But this closeness wasn’t accidental. It was his doing, controlled by him, and, judging by the shock on his face after a quick glance, it seemed to surprise him as well.
He didn’t let go of you.
Instead, he focused his gaze on your face. You kept your head lowered, staring at his fingers gently holding your arm. You could hear him swallow softly before he spoke, his voice slightly raspy again, but this time not from sleep.
"I think your theory makes a lot of sense," he said. "And...it’s given me a lot to think about. It’s probably a man around forty years old. He works as a locksmith, using that job to gain access to his victims’ homes where he installs cameras. He sees these women as objects of his fantasies, and watching them provides him with some sort of fulfillment. His behavior stems from an unfulfilled need for closeness and control, which he can’t find in normal relationships. He’s socially inept, has low self-esteem, and a poor sense of self-worth. He writes to these women, idealizes them, sees them as his chosen ones, living in an alternate reality where he doesn’t see the boundary between fantasy and reality."
There was a moment of silence between you, as you analyzed the profile he had just presented.
"That's...impressive," you confessed slowly, still dazed by the sudden closeness, your gaze stubbornly avoiding his face.
"And that's all..." he began, but then suddenly stopped. The word simply dissolved in a hesitant, trembling way. You heard him take a deep breath. "And that's all while looking at your breast."
You suddenly lifted your head.
Never, not in a million years, did you think you’d find yourself in a situation where you’d hear such words coming from him. Your jaw slightly dropped, and a strange feeling spread through your stomach. You were not only shocked but also, in a way, on the verge of laughter because of the surprise on his face. It was as if he had said it by accident and didn't quite believe it himself. At the same time, something inside you tickled.
You let out a short sigh, sounding almost like a burst of laughter.
Spencer released your forearm, and as your silence dragged on, deep embarrassment began to consume his expression.
"Sorry...I don't know why I said that..."
You interrupted him by raising your hand.
"No," you said briefly, shaking your head slightly. "That was really impressive."
Confused, he studied your face. When you smiled, he hesitantly mirrored it, though he probably didn’t even know why—he was simply mimicking your expression.
Without turning back, you took two slow steps toward the door.
"You’ll have to present that profile to Hotch," you announced, resting your hand on the doorknob. Spencer still hadn’t moved, and his face bore a hard-to-decipher expression—part apology, part embarrassment, and part... something else. A certain spark.
Before stepping out and leaving him in that state, you glanced back at him one last time with a smirk.
"Just do me a favor and don’t mention the circumstances under which it was developed, alright?"
He crossed his arms over his chest, allowing himself one more smile—this time a genuine one.
"Trust me. I wasn’t planning on it.”
*
Hotch stared at you for a moment in silence, and the corner of his mouth…twitched?! For the first time since you started working at the BAU, you managed to make your boss smile.
It would be nice to know why.
The next day, thanks to the conclusions you and Spencer had reached in his room, you finally managed to catch the unsub. Your theory about the locksmith turned out to be correct. And when you realized it was Friday, a certain thought crossed your mind. You just needed to clear it with the boss. Well, actually, you only needed to inform him that you and one other team member wouldn't be on the jet that day. Taking advantage of the upcoming weekend, you decided to extend your stay in New York for one more day.
A day that you could spend however you wanted.
The idea came to you so spontaneously that you hadn’t even discussed it with Spencer yet, but you felt, you hoped, that he wouldn't surprise you by turning it down.
The only thing standing in your way was that mysterious smile on Hotch’s face.
“Is that a problem?” you asked, furrowing your brows.
He just shook his head, returning to his usual expression. Though it seemed slightly softer, or maybe it was just your impression.
“It’s not a problem,” he assured. “Reid actually asked me the same thing about ten minutes ago.”
*
“Just, for the record, don’t mention to anyone what we used the company car for,”
"Do you really think I'd go bragging to the office that we used an unmarked police car just to have a place to watch movies at a drive-in?"
He barely caught the bag of chips you tossed at him.
"Just making sure," you said, climbing into the back of the car.
Well, it was definitely a pastime much more popular in the summer, which is why there weren’t many other vehicles around. And also why you immediately curled up under your cozy blanket, claiming almost all of it for yourself. The only source of light in that peaceful spot was the large screen ahead of you, with the movie beginning. But even in the dim lighting, you could see him tilt his head and slightly pout.
You sighed and shared the blanket with him. Or rather, you moved closer enough that the fabric could cover both of you. You added it to the list of situations where, once again, you found yourselves in circumstances that somehow required physical contact. It made you wonder if, somewhere up there, some force was orchestrating the universe’s chessboard in such a way that these moments seemed to happen more often than not.
Of course, not that it bothered you.
While you were still struggling with the blanket, trying to find the most comfortable position, Spencer told you a little about the awards that Roman Holiday had won.
“Sorry if I’m disturbing you,” he suddenly said.
“I told you, I like listening to you,” you reminded him, turning your face slightly toward his.
Finally, everything was perfect. The blanket wrapped around you in the most comfortable way, you could lean your back against the trunk and your shoulder against his. He was there.
“Yeah, but the movie just started.”
“I’ve seen it,” you announced. Somehow, you couldn’t take your eyes off his profile, even though all you could see was the outline of his jaw and nose, and the barely noticeable glint in his eye. “And I really like it. But just so you know, I didn’t pick it just to... you know.”
“Know what?”
“It’s a romantic comedy.”
He turned toward you, and you saw him flinch slightly, realizing that your gaze had been on him for quite some time. Spencer gave a slight shake of his head, furrowing his brows in confusion. You could have easily brushed it off, accepted that he didn’t understand what you meant. Probably, with anyone else, you would have. But you noticed that the more time you spent with him, the surprisingly more talkative you became. So, you continued without thinking too much about your words.
“What I mean is, I didn’t pick this movie to fit a date. It just so happens that today…”
“Is this a date?” he blurted out.
You stiffened completely, not just because of his question, but because of the genuine surprise in his voice. You wanted to ask, isn’t this a date? but your lips refused to open. Instead, you just stared at him motionless for a moment, hoping he might laugh it off.
After the conversation in his room, after he decided to stay one more day in New York for you, after you both chose to watch the movie just the two of you…Officially, neither of you had called it a date, but you had assumed that deep down, you both saw it that way. Apparently, you were wrong.
"The movie has already started," you muttered, nodding toward the screen. It had begun some time ago, but you had no idea how to change the topic. You had to do it because of the growing sense of embarrassment consuming you from the inside.
You had told him you thought it was a date. It was like telling him you liked him. Which, in fact, was true, but you didn’t want him to be aware of it, especially since he didn’t feel the same!
“Hey,” he suddenly began, his voice a little strained. You pretended not to hear, staring at the screen. Spencer sighed and leaned forward to block your view of it, forcing you to look at him. His eyes nervously searched your face, you saw him swallow. “Is this a date for you?”
You wanted to push him away for asking the same question again.
"It doesn’t matter," you replied. Your tone was sharp but not aggressive. It was the same tone you used most days at work to make it clear to others that you expected to be treated with respect and that the situation or case you were working on was serious. "If this isn’t a date for you, then it isn’t a date. End of story. Can you move? I can’t see…”
“But I…” he began, not moving an inch. His forehead remained furrowed, and his brows slightly lowered over his eyes—genuine, still somewhat surprised eyes, trying to connect with yours. Finally, under their silent pressure, you gave in and looked at him. Spencer’s expression softened. "I didn't even dare to hope that this was a date!"
Something—some feeling—clung tightly to your shoulders, pulling them both forward, toward him, and backward, against the wall of the trunk.
“You’re only saying that to spare me from feeling awkward. And so we don’t have to spend the next few hours… the next day in an unbearably embarrassing atmosphere,” you stated, genuinely believing those words to be true. “Which I’m probably not making any easier. Maybe we should just forget it…”
“Do you wish this was a date?” he asked, and you barely resisted the urge to roll your eyes. Of course, you did. You wanted to scream it into his beautiful face. Spencer exhaled loudly. “Because I’d want it to be. I really would.”
You lingered in a moment of suspension, unable to decide whether to believe him. Your job had taught you not to always trust words. Just words.
“Prove it,” you said softly but firmly.
Deep down, you didn’t know what you expected. And neither did Spencer, standing opposite you. Like you, he didn’t move at all. Only subtle changes flickered across his expression. Another crease formed on his forehead as he tried to decipher what lay behind your words. After a long moment, during which neither of you seemed to breathe, his gaze dropped to your lips. That’s when he understood.
You knew he was going to kiss you. You waited for it, ready to meet him, to gently place your hand on his cheek and feel the warmth of his lips against yours. You waited to sweep away the lingering question mark hanging above you both with one decisive motion, replacing it with a firm period.
Was this a date?
It was a date.
Spencer placed his hand under your chin, holding it close to him. Preventing you from pulling away when he momentarily broke the kiss. You saw the smooth flutter of his eyelashes as he shifted his sparkling gaze from your lips to your eyes.
“Sorry,” he rasped.
You couldn’t help but smile slightly.
“Are you apologizing for kissing me?” you asked, raising your eyebrows slightly.
He shook his head, a fleeting smile appearing on his face as well.
“I’m sorry for sometimes being so stupid,” he replied. “About these things.”
You closed your eyes again, letting out a soft snort of laughter. Suddenly, all of it—this whole dance you had been performing around each other, the panic when you realized you liked him, and the fear that he wouldn’t feel the same—seemed utterly absurd. But that’s just how people are, isn’t it? Looking back at the past with a touch of pity.
"Let’s agree on this. We’re both complete idiots."
Spencer was silent for a moment, lost in thought.
“We were,” he corrected you.
"We aren’t anymore?” you asked.

Was Never Just You
Main Masterlist Lando Masterlist
Pairing: Single Mom!Girlfriend!female reader x Lando Norris
Warnings: Fluffy,
Summary: Somethings just start in a crisis, but it's not always a bad thing.
Requested: NO / yes
When you met Lando it was by complete accident.
The day started out normal and then later turned into a disaster.
Your sons, well, they wandered off.
It was the first winter vacation for the ski lodge you normally go to that they could come with, the boys were 3, having turned three the day you left for the trip.
But your mom didn't ski or snowboard and volunteered to watch them while you, your siblings, siblings-in-law, and your father had hit the slopes.
You snowboarding and racing two of your three older brothers, both also snowboarding, down one of their bigger slopes, you won, of course, maybe using some blackmail tactics, maybe.
When you got to the bottom of the slope after the fourth or fifth time, you went to see your boys and also got a warm drink.
You found your mother and your eldest brother's wife, who ended up staying behind because she wasn't feeling good, searching around the lobby; when your mom saw you, you could see the panic and fear in her eyes.
When you asked what was wrong, she told you that they and the boys were playing hide-and-seek, but they couldn't find the boys, and they had searched the whole inside of the resort.
When she told you how long she had been looking for your two sons, over an hour and a half.
You shred your winter gear faster than ever, leaving everything in the lobby, running around the hotel in just your socks, and having no shoes or slippers in the lobby to wear from leaving your boots there.
You ran through every floor calling your sons' names, "Theodore. Sebastian." You would knock on doors, holding up a photo of your two trouble twins if someone answered the door, asking if they had seen them.
You went from floor to floor and back down again.
On you, probably the third pass on the third floor, you ran into someone, expecting to feel the floor but instead feel the body of the person you ran into.
"I'm so so sorry." You apologize as you stand up, before trying to help the person you knocked over.
"It's okay," The man says as you help him stand and he takes off his hat and goggles.
"No, it's not, I'm sorry. I'm just looking for my twins, Theo and Seb. They were playing hide-in-seek with my mom and they... Well, they hid a little too good, and they have been missing for a couple hours." You explain, worrying even more when you realize the time.
"Maybe I can help. Let me change, and we will look together. Two sets of eyes are better than one, I can even get my girlfriend, she's just in this room." The man told you.
"You want to help me?" You were so distraught that you couldn't fathom that someone other than your family would help.
"Yeah, it's just kids. And I'm sure that my girlfriend will say the same. Just breathe and give me like ten minutes." He says, then goes into his room, and you start to take a few deep breaths, trying to calm your overactive mind.
Before the ten minutes are even up, you hear the door open and look up, it's a blonde woman who comes out and gives you a hoodie.
"This is one of our friends, I'm Pietra, and this is Max." She says as Max comes out of the room.
"Everyone just calls me Cookie. My boys, they're only 3." You say as you show the two a photo of them from your phone, tears in your eyes.
Max's eyes widen a little. "I think I know where your boys are."
"Really." You ask, your eyes widening.
"Yeah, I think they're downstairs with my friend, in the restaurant," Max tells you as Pietra grabs hold of your hand as MAx leads the two of you downstairs.
When you do get back downstairs and into the restaurant, you look around and then see Max pointing in a direction that you follow with your eyes and you see your boys.
"Theo! Seb!" You cry out and run toward them.
Your boys whip their heads around and yell out, "Mommy!" getting up and then running to you, not making it far from the table, though.
The friend of Max's following behind, just in case.
You fell to the ground to hug your twins, tears in your eyes as you hugged them.
"Where did you go?" You asked them.
"We was play seek with Gramam and Celi."
"Then we was hungry an fogot."
"Den Lanwo saws us and we gots food."
You knew their explanation was too little to be something for them to be missing just shy of three hours.
You must have looked in the restaurant three times.
But you just smiled at them and hugged them again, before standing up.
"Hi, thank you for looking after my sons." You say to the man who had also been at the table with them.
"It's no problem. I saw them on my way to my room from outside, and I figured that their mom would be with them soon. When I came back down for some food, I saw them close to the door looking out the window. One was trying to open the door, and I stopped them from going outside and offered food until you got here." He explained himself.
"Thank you again...."
"Lando. Norris. Lando Norris." He said as he offered his hand.
"Nice to meet you, Lando, everyone calls me Cookie." You said taking his hand.
That's how it started.
One singular mishap that had led to the best years of your life.
The fans were skeptical at best at first, but when they seen the smile that your sons brought to Lando's face, that you brought to him.
How you helped lift the weight off his shoulders.
At the end of the 2025 season, you basically jumped over the barrier to get to Lando after he won the championship.
He picked you up and spun you around.
He had to leave to go to the podium and do other after-race debriefs and media duties.
During December, not long after the end of the season, you and Lando both post a post on Instagram with two photos, one an engagement photo, the other a pregnancy annoucement.
Just like the year before with Max, there were retirement rumors the year before.
But when Lando came back in 2026, the rumors died out.
Life continued on, and the season was one of the best for him, only after his first wins.

JOHNNY'S SECRET
Johnny Soap Mctavish x Reader (Later Poly!tf141 x reader)
ABO Universe
Oneshot: Johnny's Secret
Summary: Johnny has a secret and Gaz is determined to find out what is he is hiding that makes him smile like a fool. Or rather: who.
Warnings: none
Let me know if you want this to become a series!
(I do NOT allow anyone stealing, translating or imitating this work)
xoxo
Something was going on with Johnny. He had been disappearing at random hours for the last couple of days, nobody knew where he went. At first, none of them cared, maybe he was just getting some air or going to the bathroom. Who knows. He was always a bit weird if they were honest. However, Gaz had started noticing some slight changes in his new behaviour, or his new routine. For example, how he always disappeared at the same time, sometimes even leaving in the middle of lunch without giving any explanations. And always came back smiling. A stupid smile as Simon had named it, but a smile nonetheless.
When Gaz has asked them about this Simon shrugged his shoulders and Price only frowned his lips saying that he’ll keep an eye on him. So he had made it his mission to find where his same-rank friend was when he disappeared.
They had always been glued to the hip. Well, since he came around. It had been weird at the beginning. The connection they had, almost instantly, electrifying. He was the one that introduced him to the rest of the pack, he would be forever thankful for that. However.
There was no space for secrets in their relationship, and Johnny was hiding a big one. And it was Gaz’s responsibility to find out what it was, mostly for the pack stability he said. Mostly. Because, would he sound needy if he said he felt left out by his partner in crime?
That’s why he was there right now. Waiting for Johnny to come out of the medical hallway, leaning against the wall, waiting patiently looking at the door. Medical office 1. 263. First floor. Soap was there. He knew it. He had followed him all the way from the Mess, from a cautious distance.
Is this where he had been disappearing all this time? Was he sick? Was it something so serious to hide it from the Pack? Worried fill him for a second before he heard the door open, Soap exiting with that fucking dumb smile. It fell rapidly from his face when he saw his packmate leaning against the wall, a frown adorning his forehead.
“What’re ye doing here?” He asked in a huss, closing the door and walking fastly towards him. There was not an ounce of that smile anymore.
“What am I doing here? Now you’re taking the piss”
Soap growled grabbing him by the arm and dragging him around the corner, hiding away from the clinic, Gaz’s back was towards that direction.
“Listen, ye can’t be here. Ye donae get it. Just, trust me”
“You’ve been disappearing, no one knows where you are going and you tell me to go away? Me ? What the fuck is happening Johnny? Are you sick or som? You can trust me, you know-”
He almost fell forward, a weight crashing into him, hitting him on his back.
“Ow! I’m so sorry about that, sir!” You apologised, never stopping your pace as you snuck around them “Oh, bye Johnny! See you tomorrow!” You didn’t stop walking down the hallway, slightly tripping over when you tried to catch your speed after that bump.
Gaz’s gaze followed your retreating form. You had bump into him and looked him in the eye as you apologised, you even smiled at him. He felt a warm feeling spreading inside his chest, his fingertips tingling. He had to stop the happy grumbles growing in his chest
“Who was that?”
“That’s gonna be our wife.”

Dress || Jenna Ortega
Pairing: Jenna Ortega x Swift Best-Friend!Reader
Summary: Where Jenna hopes her best friend will finally see her as more than just a friend.
Note: Chapter inspired by Dress by Taylor Swift! (English is not my first language!!)
Warning: Mentions of alcohol consumption, mild jealousy, and a possible kiss!
MASTERLIST
Completely massive events were never your thing, even though you were aworld-renowned singer. Normally, you'd only show up for after-parties or if something truly important was happening. Still, being at the Met Gala after-partyalways turned into chaos-especially whenyou were the sibling of one of the biggest singers of the moment.
Being a Swift was like carrying a massive stone on your shoulders. Honoring your older sister's legacy was a heavy burden tobear, but you were undoubtedly proud of your work, and that was enough to make you feel good about it.
Your best friend's clingy and overly affectionate tendencies had never been a problem for you. Whether she was holding your hand or leaning against your waist you figured it was just because she liked being close to you. Or maybe it was because some people could be annoyingly inappropriate, which was truly unbearable at times.
Everything seemed to unfold smoothly until a man, roughly in his thirties, appeared at your table with an arrogant smirk and a glass of tequila in hand. Jenna, with her dark brown eyes, watched the scene with a deadly glare, tightening her grip on your leg.
"You know," the man started, "I thought you were really gorgeous and figured, 'I should ask for her number."
"Well, actually, I'm not much of a fan of tequila-or men, especially the ones who think money makes them superior," you replied, grabbing Jenna's whiskey glass and taking a sip.
The man widened his eyes before huffing quietly and walking away from the table.
After that unpleasant encounter, the rest of your night seemed to go smoothly-except for the part where Jenna wore a slight scowl on her face. You tried talking to her, but she just mumbled something and drank the whiskey frighteningly fast (she would definitely regret that in the morning).
A few minutes later, you felt a pair of warm hands brushing against the fabric covering your body. Jenna seemed lost in her own thoughts, pretending to pay attention to the table's conversation.
"Can you come to the bathroom with me?"Jenna whispered against your ear, sendinga mix of anxiety and confusion coursing through your body.
With a quick nod, you both made your way to the restroom. Jenna's hands remained fixed on your waist as the black door came into view.
The sound of the lock clicking made you furrow your brows. Jenna stood with an intimidating gaze, forcing you to step back until your body hit the tiled wall with a faint thud.
Her eyes seemed to trace every inch of you, focusing entirely on your crimson-painted lips.
Was she really about to kiss you? And would you kiss her back?
Jenna seemed very aware of what she was doing
"Did I ever tell you how stunning you look in outfits like this?" she asked, her hands grazing your waist over the fabric.
"Well, you mentioned it when you saw me at the entrance," you replied, feeling your cheeks flush. "But I wouldn't mind if you said it again.
"You look breathtaking in this outfit, sweetheart," Jenna whispered, her facenow mere inches from yours. "And I really, really want to kiss you."
The moment those words left Jenna's reddened lips, your knees nearly buckled. Her raspy voice and darkened gaze stirred unimaginable feelings with in you.
Your only response was to press your lips against hers, letting your hands wander freely over her body, inviting her to draw closer. The familiarity and novelty of the moment filled the air as your fingers tangled in Jenna's brunette locks, pulling her impossibly closer, while her arms tightened around your waist.
Your lips moved passionately, neither of you willing to break the moment. Jenna's hands slid further into your hair, while your hands traced the curves you were only now discovering
When you finally pulled apart, your eyes met, and an unspoken mixture of desirefear, and passion lingered between you. It was a moment loaded with the weight of years of friendship, as if crossing anuncertain sea and risking your bond felt terrifying
"I hope this doesn't change things betweenus," Jenna said softly, her eyes glinting with anticipation.
"It won't, Jen. Things will just take adifferent path," you reassured her, pressing a kiss to her swollen lips.
The comforting hum of the air conditioner mingled with the sound of your steady breaths, your bodies still intertwined. The sunlight streaming through the window cast small crystalline patterns on your skin, while Jenna's bronzed complexion contrasted against your own.
Jenna held you protectively, as if afraid you might slip away at any moment.
Minutes passed before a quiet groan brokethe serene silence. The soft orange rays were beginning to annoy Jenna, who cursed herself internally for not fully closing the curtains last night.
Fresh reddish marks adorned her back making Jenna stifle a mischievous smile.
A soft sigh escaped your lips as you opened your eyes, their grayish hue catching the morning light. You felt Jenna's cold nose trailing along your neck.
"You can go back to sleep, my love. I justneed to close the curtains," Jenna whispered, pressing a kiss behind your ear.
You mumbled something unintelligible before shutting your eyes again. Jenna chuckled softly, wrapping her arms around your waist and snuggling closer to you

SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN jinx au/powder
content warnings. 18+ MDNI, suggestive/angsty content, gn! reader, hinted jock/masc reader, use of y/n (once), mentions of vi/caitlyn/caitvi, making out, kissing, seven minutes in heaven game | wc: 1,05k
author's note. so if you ever saw grey’s anatomy and the part where derek tells mark to not touch lexie? yeah that mixed with 7 minutes in heaven because I’m in a mood lmao- hope you guys enjoy, reblogs and comments are always appreciated <3
lose yourself sometimes…
that’s what vi always told her shortly before the incident. powder knew she meant well, that she wanted powder to be a little more reckless, a little bit freer than she was when vi started going to the academy, that she wanted her sister to make some mistakes and not regret them. that’s why she accepted the invitation to a party that was just before the first day of academy.
“powder and… y/n!” claggor said before taking another sip of his red cup. powder looked up from the bottle, eyes locking on your form as you down your drink and jump up after a couple of back pats from a friend.
you were an old friend of vi’s, started at the academy at the same year and the two of you went to the same gym and sports team all of your years up until… before everything happened, vi had you over more than a couple of times and powder has stared at you from her window more times than she wanted to admit, watching as her sister and you did your silly games and competitions. but how couldn’t she? you noticed her in ways no one did, she wasn’t just vi’s sister to you, she was powder every time you talked or mentioned her.
…and don’t miss out on the things I did.
the closet wasn’t a piece of furniture, it was a walk-in closet, the small room’s wall filled with expensive shoes and dresses that probably belonged to your friend’s mother.
“it’s rude to stare you know…” you trailed off, looking over your shoulder to find free space so you can lean against the wall. powder’s cheeks heat up, burying her face in her shoulder but still trying to steal some glances towards your way. your shirt was a lower cut than usual, your black jeans much tighter, perfectly capturing the curves and toning of your body.
“I never knew you noticed- you could have mentioned if it was making you uncomfortable!” powder muttered, sort of teasingly, taking a step to the other side of the closet. embarrassment washed over her face and how unfortunate that this room was so small there was no way you didn’t see her blush.
you chuckled, reaching out to take her hand and pulling her closer to you. “why are you nervous, powder? it’s just me,” you smiled, interviewing your fingers. you did this time to time, powder told you that it was calming, that the slight warmth of your hand and the smell of your smell.
“I’m nervous ‘cuz it’s you…” powder knew you would force her into anything, and maybe that’s why she was so nervous, because you weren’t. because that meant she has to be the one starting, starting something, she has never done too many times for herself.
‘and I’m nervous about missing out on you…’
so, powder did, leaning in to meet your lips and she was ready to for you to push her off, yell at her for what she was thinking. but the hand on her cheek wasn’t pushing her away, it kept still like it was afraid to move, a tad shaky-
was it because you were pitying her, that you didn’t want to hurt her feelings? and if not, was it okay to be asking for so much from you, it should be alright for you to let her, right? stupid powder… she’s already swept away by desire. the way her lips open when your tongue pushes against them, the way her body flushes against your and both of you tumble in the pile of clothes on the ground, powder falling into your lap.
she follows your lead, letting your tongue dominate her, letting her free hand grab the back of your neck to hold you close. she did her best trying to keep herself up and steady, moving her hand to your shoulder. powder was shivering from excitement, goosebumps exploding on her body every time you brushed your thumb against her cheek, deepening the kiss with little dips.
“more…” she whimpered, unlacing your hands, and moving it up your arms, bunching the fabric of your shirt between her weak fingers. your lips pressed into her neck, hand skillfully slipping to her chin, holding her so you could turn and move her as you pleased. your other hand tugging her shirt out of her pants, slipping a couple of fingers under the cloth and moving them up her side.
she knew what was coming and she couldn’t be more excited, maybe it was the alcohol that got her all excited beside you, maybe it was just that you have finally giving her what she has been waiting for. your out most and undivided attention, only seeing her, thinking about her, and wanting her.
“I think the seven minutes are up.” you murmured into the crook of her neck, placing on last kiss on her delicate skin before pulling away, patting the sides of her thigh to rush her movements, “I don’t… vi wouldn’t…” your voice falters as you help her up, assisting her fixing her shirt and hair. you pushed the door open, taking one last glance over your shoulder.
it felt like a lifetime ago, your promise to vi, to never to touch her sister but to help her find herself in this confusing world and to never let her lose out on things like she did on the girl she met at the academy. caitlyn was her name? you still see her around campus, but she is… not herself anymore.
“my promise to her? I think I just went against it…”

Currently, you were at the Butterfly Mansion, trying to enjoy the time you have by yourself but it was really hard to do so, to enjoy it. Not even the sunset, which is beautiful, the soft glow which is about to disappear beneath the trees. No, you can't even enjoy that with the distress in your heart. Your heart aches deeply but you had to push those feelings down, you won't let your tears spill over. You won't cry.
Sanemi is gone again, off on another dangerous mission, leaving his wife behind. You hate how much you miss him, all the smiles he shares with you, only you, his voice, his hands, how he clings to you like a cat when he wakes up. He haunts you when he's out on a mission. But you can't do anything.
You didn't want to be that kind of person—the one who begged for attention
So, you kept it to yourself, bottling it up until you felt like you might burst. The words came tumbling out only because of Mitsuri, you can't lie to her shes your best friend, she knows when you're lying.
"I just... I miss him so much," you admitted. "I know it's silly, but I feel like I'm always waiting for him. And I can't even say anything because I don't want to seem clingy or selfish. He has enough to deal with already..."
Mitsuri gasped, her hands flying to her mouth as it dropped in shock. "That's not silly at all!" she said cupping your hands. "Sanemi should know how much you care. You're not selfish for missing someone you love."
"It's not like that! I mean—okay, maybe it is, but I don't want to bother him!"
"I'll handle this for you!" She announces already walking away from you.
Hours then passed until Sanemi finally came home. He was indefinitely tired anyone who saw him could tell that he was. He was about to head into the bath house before Mitsuri popped out in front of him, almost as if she was cornering him from going anywhere else.
"Sanemi!" she began, hands on her hips. "You're such a dummy sometimes, you know that?"
"What are you going on about, Kanroji?"
"It's your wife!" she exclaimed. "She misses you so much and feel too guilty to tell you because they don't want to seem clingy! Can you believe that?"
Sanemi froze.
She feels what?
He pushed past Mitsuri and slides open the door abruptly to your shared room. Your head perks up to the door, seeing Sanemi standing there and you could see the worried expression on your face which made your heart ache, wondering if he is okay.
Sanemi then suddenly sat down next to the futon, elbows resting on his knees as he gazed down to you, analyzing your pretty face and he could see it, the worry on your face.
"You missed me?" he asked.
Your eyes widened. "What? No—I mean, yes, but I—" You groaned, burying your face in your pillow. "Mitsuri told you, didn't she?"
"Yeah," he admitted. "She did."
You couldn't bring yourself to look at him, your embarrassment threatening to swallow you whole. But then you felt his hands move around your body, pulling you up into a hug, arms tightly wrapped around you and you feel as if you were going to cry because it's been so long since you've felt safe in his arms.
"Why didn't you just tell me?" he asked softly. "I'm not gonna think you're clingy or whatever crap you've been telling yourself."
"I didn't want to make things harder for you," you muttered. "You're already out there fighting for your life. The last thing you need is me whining about how much I miss you."
"Listen to me," he said firmly. "I go on those missions because I have to, yeah. But you're the reason I come back. Don't ever think for a second that missing me or wanting me around is a burden. Got it?"
Tears pricked your eyes and it wasn't too long before they began to fall and your arms tightly wrapped themselves around his neck, pulling him in closer.
"I missed you too, you know," he murmured against your hair.
He rested his chin on top of your head and his heart begins to ssync with yours, this is the first time he has felt at peace for days ever since the mission ended, he doesn't think he will ever feel calm unless he has you in his arms.
"Next time, just tell me, okay? Don't bottle it up. I'm tough, but I'm not so tough I don't want to know how you feel."
You nodded against his chest. "I will. I promise."
"Good," he said. "Because I'm not going anywhere. Cling to me all you want."
Do not copy, steal, modify, etc. Relogs and like are appreciated.

i have an idea where thanos flirts with reader and immediately reject him, giving him a dirty look or just being rude to him. se-mi is around there so when reader sees her their entire expression changes, giving her a smile or something like that idk 😭
it doesn't have to be exact to that, just take the idea of u like it and use it however u want!!
✦ content: short fluff, how you met your girlfriend at the game while rejecting her friend!
✦ authors note: thank you so much! i was just rewatching and i kept thinking about this idea so i wrote a short fluff, i hope you like it! thank you for your request♥️
⋆。°✩ ever since the games started, you've been along player 120 and player 095. until the third game, where you lost them out of sight. as you heard "group of 5", you kept thinking that maybe this was your last round.
⋆。°✩ i mean there was nothing else to do.. right?
⋆。°✩ until a girl pulled your hand, and somehow you ended up in a room with a purple hair guy, his weird best friend, this girl and a guy who seemed to be her friend.
⋆。°✩ she leaned against the wall, catching her breath, crossing her arms on her chest while staring at you. she has nice piercings.
⋆。°✩ "well, well, well... look at what the wind brought us. a new friend" the purple haired guy spoke, looking at me. "i'm thanos, and who brought this pretty thing?"
you rolled my eyes, trying to copy the brunnete's position.
turning your head to look at her, her piercing gaze stays on you.
"thanks..."
"se-mi" she introduced herself.
"i thought i was about to die out there, thanks se-mi" i said to the girl.
she nodded, thano's best friend chuckled.
"we've been trying to get her name for days, but a pretty girl shows up and that's the first thing she tells her"
i snort as she rolls her eyes and scoffs, mumbling something that sounded like "idiot".
⋆。°✩ of course you couldn't stop talking to her after the third game ended.
⋆。°✩ eating with her, chatting and even laughing. it was easy to forget about everything when you were with her.
⋆。°✩ but sadly, you could never find her alone. if she didn't had min-su following her around, thanos and nam-gyu were teasing her. so that meant you always had to chat with them too, as you tried (really hard) to get her alone.
⋆。°✩ "doll face, came to hear your boy throwing a few lines?" thanos said getting closer to where me and se-mi were sitting down.
"oh my god" i covered my face as i hear her laughing. "i like talking to you so much, but i dont know if it's worth... this" i pointed at thanos.
she smiled, her arm sneaked to rest on my shoulders.
"it's worth every penny. althought you may wanna tell him that you're not really going for boys" she whispered in my ear. i softly laughed as i stare at her. she's so pretty. and her friends so annoying.
"prettiest girls in the planet, listen out, this one's for you-" thanos started.
"listen" i cut him mid-sentence. "you're such a fun, amazing guy" i said, standing up and placing my hands on his shoulder. "and i bet any girl would be so lucky dating you"
he nodded, proud of himself, as se-mi stared smirking.
"but i think there's something that would make you even a better person" i said looking at him, straight in the eyes. "leave to a corner and please let me have ten minutes alone so i can flirt with se-mi"
⋆。°✩ his expression quickly fell as se-mi and nam-gyu snorted.
"so im not about to be your boy-"
"you're not. i'm not into guys, thanos. but you're...so...nice"
⋆。°✩ he quickly understood. apparently. at least he went away along with his best friend. it was more than enough.
⋆。°✩ "so.. can we go back to the flirting part?" se-mi said, her smile never fading as she played with her lip piercing.
"yeah, i think we finally can" i said, dragging her to sit with me in one of the beds.
⋆。°✩ no need to clarify anything else. the guys understood when the next time they saw you, se-mi was hugging you from behind, resting her chin on your shoulder.
⋆。°✩ se-mi couldn't stop teasing thanos for falling for two times for two lesbians girls, which always ended up with him telling her how he'd release a rap called 'revenge is sweeter than girls' against her once they were out of here.
⋆。°✩ you believe him. you'll hear more about it once you're out of here, holding your girlfriend's hand.

Wait whoops I js reread the rules n it said no gender specific IM SORRY LMAO😭
I dooo have another request for u tho since u said u wanna write!!
Could we get a Cho Hyun-Ju (yes another cuz I love her) x reader where we realize we have feelings for her n rant to it about to one of the players (maybe the old lady who gives us advice n teases) n dont notice that shes nearby, basically hearing everything we say until we notice n freeze up n then move away in embarassment which leads to us avoiding her cuz were nervous n dont wanna be seen vulnerable?
- gotcha!! : ★
featuring: hyun-ju cho x reader.
summary: you have a massive crush on your friend and don't know what to do, so you seek help. And who is a better help at giving advice than the elders? However, a certain someone also heard your little talk.
warnings: none.
genre: fluff.
A/N: YOUNG-MI LIVES YAAAY
★ . ★ . ★ . ★
➤ "Please, you guys need to help me!"
Jang could only watch your absolutely flustered face while Young-mi cutely laughed by her side. Your request was unusual, and she was sure that if she somehow was starting to understand the youngsters, all of that effort was going through the drain right now.
"Di-did she say something a-about me?"
Young-mi only busted out laughing once more as Yonsik held his own. Jang could only hold an annoyed expression, while the other two were clearly having the time of their lives.
"How are we supposed to know, you buffoon! She is your close friend, not ours!" Jang said, her patience running thin.
"Don't be so mean!!" you protested with a huge pout on your deep red face.
After a good pause for them to laugh at your attempts of asking them about Hyun-ju, Young-mi finally managed to catch her breath. You have never seen the small girl laugh so much in her entire life (not that you knew her for a long period of time anyways).
"Maybe you should try talking to her personally, Unnie." she adviced you. Even if she still found the newfound situation incredibly funny, she still hoped the best for you and Hyun-ju. Both of you were good people who helped her when she needed the most, and she couldn't be more grateful. She really looked up to you two, and sometimes you felt like you couldn't disappoint her.
"Well, maybe i could give it a try. I wouldn't want to risk the friendship we already have. But, by the way, where is she?" you asked, confused on why she still wasn't by their usual spot already.
"She said she was going to the bathroom, maybe you should go after her! Ha!" Yonsik said in a teasing manner, but the idea didn't seem so bad to you. You hesitantly get up, ignoring Yonsik's teasing and giving Young-mi a slight pet, and only after heading to the bathroom.
However, as you crossed a certain turn in the mess of beds, you stumbled across no one other than Hyun-ju herself.
"Hyun-ju...?"
She was beaming red. Her usual composed manner fading slightly when she saw you. You could quickly tell she had heard every word that came out of your mouth.
" -i need to go."
"No, please, stay."
Both of you were trembling. In her case, it was anxiety. But in yours, you have never felt so embarrassed in your entire life.
Was she about to reject you? To end your friendship? To say that you were gross to even think about her in such ways, and-
"Can we talk?" she asked after recomposing herself, albeit not completely.
"We don't need to. I understand and accept it. I'm so sorry for even thinking about our friendship in that way, i..." for a long moment, you were at a loss for words. What were you thinking for even-
"I feel the same way. I have felt, for a long while."
. . .
Now that's what you weren't expecting.
"Could you- Hyun-ju, could you please repeat what you just said? I don't think I've heard you well."
"I love you."
-
"These 2 are taking too long in the bathroom! Do you think they-" he was quickly smacked by his mother before he could even begin to mutter another word.
"Let then be."

Secret smiles
Pairing: Max Verstappen x PewDiePie!sibling Summary: What if Felix had a genius brother who works as a RedBull's engineer and is also secretly dating Max part 36 of A Calm to my Storm Masterlist
Videos: 1: Sam Walking Through the Garage, Grinning at His Phone
Sam was strolling through the Red Bull garage, phone in hand, smiling softly at the screen as he typed out a reply. He was so engrossed in his texting that he barely noticed Calum walking up to him.
Calum: "Hey Sam, what’s got you smiling like that, mate? You win the lottery or something?"
Sam (chuckling): "Something like that."
As he replied, his phone buzzed again with another text from Max:
Max: [“You looked really hot when you were fixing the car earlier. I may have gotten a little distracted 😏”]
Sam blushed and quickly typed back:
Sam: [“Focus on your race prep, not me!”]
Calum (smirking): "You sure it’s nothing? That smile is suspiciously lovey-dovey."
Sam (waving it off): "Don’t worry about it. Just a friend being ridiculous."
Tim chuckled and walked away, leaving Sam still grinning like an idiot at his phone.
2: Sam Talking with Christian and Adrian Newey
Sam stood in front of the garage with Christian and Adrian Newey, who were discussing some final tweaks for the weekend. Sam’s phone buzzed, and he quickly glanced at it, the smile creeping back onto his face. Christian noticed immediately.
Christian (smirking): "Sam, you’re supposed to be focused on the car, not your phone."
Adrian (teasing): "Seems like someone’s a little distracted today."
Sam blushed but couldn’t help the grin as he read the text from Max:
Max: [“Don’t tell Christian, but I may have done a little extra damage to that laptop in the conference room... Can I bribe you to fix it for me later? 😉”]
Sam (laughing softly): "He’s so dead."
Christian (raising an eyebrow): "Who’s dead?"
Sam (shaking his head, still smiling): "Nothing. Just Max being Max."
Christian exchanged a knowing look with Adrian, both of them smirking slightly.
Christian (teasing): "Max, huh?"
Sam (playing it off): "Oh, shut up... He’s needy, what can I say?"
3: Sam Approaching Max’s Car
Sam was making his way towards Red Bull in the paddock his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out, still walking, and his face lit up as soon as he saw Max’s name.
Max: [“If I get P1, can I have a reward? Asking for a friend 😜”]
Sam shook his head, trying not to laugh as he quickly typed back:
Sam: [“No promises, but I’ll think about it 😏 What would that friend like for a reward?”]
Just as he was pocketing his phone, Max approached, looking focused. Sam tried to look professional, but the smile hadn’t quite left his face.
Max (grinning): "Texting someone special?"
Sam (smirking): "Maybe. Focus on your race, Verstappen."
Max laughed as they continued chatting, but Sam’s smile never faded.
4: Sam Chatting with a Random Team Member
Sam leaned against a wall in the garage, listening as one of the Red Bull team members rambled on about the upcoming night-race strategy. His phone buzzed, and he glanced down at the screen, a sappy smile instantly appearing on his face as he saw Max’s message.
Max: [“This race better be worth it because I’d rather be in bed with you right now.”]
Sam blushed slightly and typed back quickly:
Sam: [“You’re racing in one of the biggest events of the year and thinking about me? Focus, Max.”]
The team member kept talking, completely oblivious to Sam’s distraction, and Sam just nodded absently, sneaking more glances at his phone.
Team Member: "So yeah, the setup should be good. You good with that?"
Sam (barely listening): "Yeah, sounds perfect."
The team member walked away, and Sam quickly sent another reply to Max:
Sam: [“But… I’d rather be with you too ❤️”]
5: Christian Teasing Sam in the Paddock
Christian and Sam were walking through the paddock when Sam’s phone buzzed again. He looked down, and that familiar soft grin appeared on his face as he saw Max’s message:
Max: [“Can’t wait to see you later. Any chance we can sneak off without the meeting after the race?”]
Sam tried to suppress his smile as he typed back:
Sam: [“We’ll see. Don’t make trouble to make our chances greater.”]
Christian noticed Sam’s grin and leaned over to see Sam's screen with a smirk.
Christian: "Tell your boyfriend I said hi and that if he doesn't cause any shit that'll get me in trouble, you can leave early. But don't overwork him, we have a race tomorrow and I need you both at 100%"
Sam immediately turned red, laughing as he shoved his phone back in his pocket.
Sam (blushing): "You’re too nosy."
Christian chuckled, clearly enjoying the teasing, while Sam tried to keep a straight face. As Max walked to them, Sam turned red again, and Christian walked away laughing.
6: Sam Sitting in the Garage, Scrolling on His Phone
During a quiet moment, Sam sat at the back of the garage, scrolling through his phone with that same love-struck smile plastered across his face. He wasn’t even trying to hide it anymore as Max’s texts kept coming in.
Max: [“Remember that time you called me a reckless idiot? Well, with this rain, I’m about to live up to it. Wish me luck.”]
Sam (laughing softly to himself): [“You’re an idiot. I love you. Just don’t crash the car, okay?”]
Max replied almost immediately:
Max: [“Love you too. And I’ll try not to. I do like it more when you're in bed next to me than fixing a car I crashed😏”]
Sam smiled to himself, blushing as he re-read the messages, his face lighting up every time his phone buzzed with another reply.
---
In each instance, Sam’s smile was unmistakably soft, full of affection, and it only seemed to get stronger whenever Max texted him. Little did the rest of the world know, the ‘boyfriend’ they kept teasing Sam about was none other than Max himself. Christian and Adrian Newey might have known the truth, but they kept quiet, allowing Sam and Max their little secret.

I am not shitting you when I say the second part of this post is almost exactly, how I was nearly radicalized into the Tradwife subculture.
I started really struggling with my disability when my Husband and I married in 2015. It was made worse when I went to work for my emotionally and verbally abusive mother- which culminated in a complete breakdown of both my body and mind. I had to quit my job, and my Husband and I eventually decided I wouldn't be going back to work in general because it was becoming too hard on my body; I never wanted to be a homemaker. I was forced to be one by my own body.
And while all of this is going on, I was also finally exploring my "Femininity" as someone who was a tomboy growing up, was temporarily TransMasc for a bit, never really connected to it, and finally wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Especially because, secretly, I'd started liking these things in high school but had faced significant bullying from my mother and sister the second I started trying; you can imagine how quickly I shut that interest down and doubled down on my "hatred" of all things girly.
I've also always been into Vintage, ever since I saw a photo of my late paternal Grandmother, who I was named after, sitting on a fountain in full New Look inspired dress, holding my father as a baby. So all three of these things culminated in me finding the Vintage Homemaking community- and that was fun! It made my being a Homemaker more tolerable! I could have fun with it by romanticizing it!
From there, I found Gender Essentialism. I didn't quite agree with it all. But hey, it didn't sound so bad, actually, that the sexes were made "equal but different". And the rabbit hole just kept getting deeper ... And deeper ... And deeper.
And the absolutely insidious thing about it, is that once you dip your toe in? It's very hard to actually see how wild (or dangerous) the ideologies get the deeper you fall. It's intentionally designed to very slowly lure you in; to make the ideologies bite-sized, so that they're easier to digest- that way the next one they feed you seems like a logical progression, and not a far fetched neon warning sign screaming "Danger! Keep away! There be Nazis here!".
And honestly, thank fucking God I had friends who were like "hey, hold up, wait a minute", sat me down, and gently pointed out all the NeoNazi dogwhistles (and Lord let me tell you just how much of the rhetoric comes directly from WW II Nazi homefront propaganda. I wish I were joking). Without them I don't doubt that I'd've fallen for all of it hook line and sinker. But as it stands, I was only barely radicalized for maybe a year and a half- and I've spent every year since 2016 screaming at the top of my lungs about the danger of Traditionalism on Tumblr because of it.
Radicalization of any kind (but especially radicalization into the Alt-Right) is not a joke or something to scoff at. Anyone can be radicalized- and the more you think you're immune to it, the better a target you actually are for them.
TW: This post contains explicit discussions of white supremacy and the alt-right, including mentions of racism and antisemitism.
One of my most impactful recent library reads was Sisters In Hate by Seyward Darby, and I want to take a moment to encourage other white Americans to check it out as we prepare for next years' presidential election and all the shit it's going to kick up.
Sisters In Hate is a book about the role of women in American white supremacist movements and specifically in the alt-right. Darby does a really excellent job of showing just how critical white women are to these hate movements. The book also gives us a detailed look at what radicalization looks like and how that process can be different for different genders.
The book is divided into three sections, each of which follows a real woman through her radicalization into the alt-right. I especially want to draw Tumblr's attention to the story of Ayla, a self-proclaimed "polyamorous, raw foodist-vegan, feminist, pagan" whose radicalization started in college with natural living and homebirth and ended with her running a popular tradwife blog and speaking at the Unite the Right rally.
I think a lot of leftists and liberals feel that we're too smart, or too educated, or too savvy to fall for white supremacist recruitment schemes. We are not. Intelligent, college-educated, left-leaning people are radicalized every day. Some of them are less overtly hateful, like your college friend who starts voting Republican in their 30s. Some of them are like Ayla, and their radicalization takes them all the way to the other end of the political spectrum until they're openly and genuinely calling for a white ethnostate with the same passion they once used to advocate for feminism, racial equity, and queer rights. And we need to remember that any one of us intelligent, college-educated, left-leaning white folks could be in her position, which is why it's so important to learn about radicalization tactics so we can recognize and resist them.
I'm not gonna lie -- this book is hard to read. The text contains racial slurs, white supremacist rhetoric, antisemitism, and anti-Black racism. All of this is condemned by the author, but Darby doesn't shy away from showing just how vile this movement is. I had to take a lot of breaks from this book and read it over several weeks, but I'm very glad I did because I feel like I needed this information.
White supremacist recruitment efforts are going to pick up in the next year, especially if Tr*mp is the Republican nominee for president. Stay informed and stay ready.

Alright so I got this prompt messaged to me by @dreamer-329 : Hi I have read almost all your fanfics and I love them a lot, I saw you are fine with receiving prompts and while I was listening to music this song came on and I got an idea haha
Hearing this song made me think that this would be a perfect club song for Melissa x reader, song is Mi casa su casa by Omar Rudberg, here is what i thought of but you can spin this however you see best fits, Melissa is out with some of the Abbott crew and she sees R dancing and is into them, they briefly bump into each other at the bar ordering drinks but nothing happens until R is dancing to this song and they look at Melissa(who is already watching them) and sing the lyrics while staring intently at her and dancing more provocative by every line they sing (I can see it in your eyes
This is what you came for
Baby, don't be shy
Because you got something I've been wanting
A long, long time
And I got something you've been wanting
That's no crime 'cause
You got a body
I got a body
Let's have a party
Mi casa su casa)
I thought this was a cute and smutty idea and wrote it over the holidays. I just finished it and I definitely had to edit it as I wrote most of it when I was not sober and some of it made no fucking sense. Hope you like it!
On another note: I’m working on 3 other prompts for Mel atm so be patient! Especially as I might need a moment after I saw the dress Lisa wore to the golden globes…😮💨
Mi Casa or Su Casa
Warnings: smut, teasing, teacher-student role play (small part)
Words: 2.6k
“I still don’t get why youse dragging me out.” Melissa complains as they all step into a bar.
“Because we all could use some fun after the week we’ve had.” Janine says excitedly and they all find a table to sit at. “I’ll buy the first round, what does everyone want?” Janine asks and everyone gives their order to her and she goes to the bar to order.
Melissa looks around the bar and sees a few people dancing to the song that the DJ is playing. She sees a few other people scattered around the bar, most in conversations with the other people at their table. Janine comes back a few minutes later and passes everyone their drink.
“Here’s to putting up with all the golf course construction.” Jacob says and they all cheers to that.
A couple rounds later and they’re all looser, even Melissa. Melissa then notices a few people walk by the table and she looks to see a few young women walking by. One of them turns around once they find a table and Melissa does a double take.
You decided to go out with your friends after you were ready to come back out after a breakup and one of your friends suggested a bar where you can all dance. You walk into the bar and you pass by a group of people at a table and then one of your friends decides on a table and you turn around to sit in a chair. You look around the bar and you notice a ginger woman staring at you and you smile and wave at her. She smiles back at you and then joins the conversation at her table.
You notice her keep glancing at you and then she goes to get up and walks to the bar. You get up with the excuse of getting the next round even though you just got the previous one and you go to meet her at the bar.
“Hi.” You say and she turns to look at you and you smile.
“Hi.” She says. “I’m Melissa.” She adds on and you shake her hand.
“I’m Y/n. Melissa is a beautiful name, it suits you.” You tell her and she smiles with a slight blush “So I’ve noticed this hot ginger staring at me for the past hour. Would you know anything about that?” You ask her and she pretends to think about it then shakes her head.
“Not a thing, but maybe she thinks you’re cute.” She tells you and you smile.
“Well I think you’re cute as well.” You tell her and then the bartender brings her drinks and she takes them.
“I gotta go bring these to my friends but maybe I’ll see you around.” She says and then walks away, with a slight sway to her hips. You watch her walk away and then the bartender asks what you want to get and you order all the drinks.
You go back to the table with your friends and then they ask you all about that woman you were talking to.
“I don’t know anything about her other than her name is Melissa.” You say to all of them.
“Then go talk to her more, or even go ask her to dance.” One of your friends suggests.
“She’s busy with her friends right now.” You tell them and they look over at the table.
“Go up and ask her to dance.” They tell you. “Or you can dance seductively and get her to come to you.” They add and you think about it and decide to do that. The next song comes on and you get up and go to the dance floor. You know the song that comes on and you also start singing as well as dancing to it.
“Well woman the way the time cold, I wanna be keeping you warm. I got the right temperature for shelter you from the storm.” You sing and move your hips along to the song. You also have your hands up in the air as well as everyone else who’s dancing and it makes your shirt go up and anyone can see your belly button. “Oh lord, girl, I got the right tactics to turn you on. And girl I wanna be the papa, you can be the mom, oh-oh.” You sing out and you quickly glance and see that Melissa is watching you and you smile before you keep dancing to the song. The next song comes a couple minutes later and you instantly recognize the guitar beat.
You swing your hips to the beat before the lyrics start and you decide to go a bit further with your seductive movements to see if she’ll come to you.
“Mi casa su casa. I’ve been watching you all night, over on the dance floor.” You sing out and you look at Melissa and you see she’s still watching you. You decide to keep your eyes on her while you still keep dancing. “I can see it in your eyes, this is what you came for.” You continue while you run your hands down the side of your body and you see Melissa grabs her drink and take a sip. “Baby, don’t be shy, because you got something I’ve been wanting, a long long time. And I got something you’ve been wanting.” You sing out and move your hips more. “That’s no crime cause, you got a body.” You sing while you point to her. “I got a body.” And then you run your hands down your chest down to your stomach. “Let’s have a party, mi casa su casa.” You sing out and turn around and wiggle your butt a little.
You turn back around and you see Melissa making her way over to you and you look back at her table and see all her friends watching her. She makes her way over to you and she puts her hands on your waist while you’re still dancing and you wrap your arms around her neck. She pushes you closer until you’re pressed up against her and the next chorus is just about to play.
“That’s no crime cause, you got a body, I got a body.” You sing and she moves her hands to your back and runs her hands all over while dancing to the song with you. “Let’s have a party, mi casa su casa.” You continue singing. “I got a body, you got a body. Let’s have a party, mi casa su casa.” She then flips you around so your back is pushed up against her front and she runs her hands down the side of your body and she starts singing the rest.
“I’ve been looking at you all night long. From over on the dance floor, I really want to take you home.” She then places her hands on your stomach and she starts taking over the dancing, making you move in time with her. “You got a body, I got a body. Let’s have a party, mi casa su casa.” She sings and then gets right to your ear. “I got a body, and you got a body. Let’s have a party, mi casa su casa.” She finishes singing the song but she doesn’t move away from you or let you move. “You wanted me to come to you.” She says and you smile.
“Is that a question or a comment?” You ask her and she gets you to turn around.
“A comment, staring at me while running your hands all over your body gave it away.” She tells you. “What do you want to happen?” She asks you and you shrug your shoulders.
“I haven’t thought that far.” You tell her and she shakes her head with a smile. “All I thought was getting the hot ginger that’s been staring at me to come over.” You tell her and then she cups your cheek and leans in. You lean in as well and connect your lips with hers. They feel fucking magical and much softer than you’ve imagined all night. You feel her hand move from your cheek to the back of your head and the other move to your waist.
“What would you say if I asked you mi casa or su casa?” She asks when she pulls away and you blink at her for a second before smiling.
“I’d say…su casa.” You tell her and she smiles.
“Let’s go grab our stuff and I’ll call an Uber.” She says and you nod before you speed walk to get your things.
“Where are you going?” Your friend asks.
“With the hot ginger to her place.” You say and then walk over to Melissa.
“Melissa, why are you grabbing your purse?” Barb asks and Melissa just smiles.
“I’ll see you all on Monday.” She says and then she grabs your hand and leaves.
“Can I stay at someone’s house tonight? Melissa is not as quiet as she thinks.” Jacob asks everyone.
You get in an Uber with Melissa and she rubs your thigh the entire time. Once you get to her place she takes your hand again and you quickly get out. As soon as she turns the light on to her house you get a good look at her and you’re mesmerised.
“You’re even hotter now than at the bar.” You tell her and you kiss her again. You trap her against you and the door and with the way her hands are all over your stomach and chest, she doesn’t mind. She then pushes you away, takes your hand and brings you upstairs to her room.
“You’re wearing far too many clothes.” She says once she closes her door.
“And what are you going to do about that?” You ask her and she smirks before taking your sweater and shirt off. You then go and take her blazer and shirt off before both of you get on the bed.
You end up straddling her lap and she unclips your bra while you’re kissing her and you help her take it off before she throws it somewhere in the room. You then unclip her bra and you throw it away without any care once you get a look at her chest.
“Do you like them?” She asks when she sees you staring at her boobs and you nod.
You go directly to her neck while you cup both her breasts and she moans into the kiss. You push her back on the bed and then you take her leather pants and underwear off. You run your hands up her smooth legs all the way up to her hips. You see her start squirming under you and you smile.
“Eager already Melissa?” You ask her.
“You were pretty much grinding on me at the bar.” She says and you snort. You then bend down and wrap your mouth around a nipple and she moans out. You switch to her other nipple and you can tell she needs it bad.
“When was the last time you had sex with someone?” You ask her and she sighs.
“A few months.” She says and you hum.
“Really? You look like someone who can’t go that long without it and someone who can get someone no problem.” You tell her.
“You’re right, and yet you’re making me wait.” She tells you and you smirk. “I mean if you won’t do anything then I’ll just- oh god.” You cut her off by circling her clit and she’s now whimpering and gasping underneath you. You’re slowly circling her clit as you want to see her slowly come undone and also have her beg for more. You watch as she squirms, trying to get her high quicker but you’re not letting her. “Please, please go faster.” She begs and you smirk before circling her clit faster.
You feel her entire body under you and you listen to her as she comes and you don’t stop. You insert 2 fingers in her dripping centre and start fingering her while circling her clit. She gasps out and bucks her hips when you insert two fingers and starts moaning at the sensitivity.
“Oh god.” She begins saying like a mantra as she gets close to her second orgasm. She squeezes around your fingers and then she comes again and she holds your hand and gets you to pull out. You then lick your fingers and taste her and you moan at the taste.
“You taste good.” You tell her and she pulls you down to her.
“You think so?” She asks and you nod. She then pulls you into a kiss and tastes herself mixed with the taste of your mouth and she loves it. “Take the rest of your clothes off.” She orders and you immediately obey. “So obedient.” She smirks as you take your pants off.
“Something about you and your tone that makes me want to obey.” You tell her and she hums.
“Wish my second graders were like that as well.” She tells you and you tilt your head.
“You’re a teacher?” You ask her and she nods. “That’s so hot.” You tell her and then kiss her.
You feel her move her hand down and then she starts circling your clit and getting you all wet before she inserts a finger in your entrance. You moan into the kiss and then she slips another one in and then starts pumping in and out of you.
“What do you find hot about me being a teacher?” She asks and you have to take a few seconds to think about what she just asked you.
“I think it’s more about thinking of you…teaching me a lesson.” You say in between moans and she smirks.
“Why would you need to get taught a lesson? Have you been a bad girl?” She asks and she feels you get wetter after saying that. She then pulls out of you and flips you both so that she’s on top. She sticks her fingers back inside of you and she smiles at you gasping and moaning. “Be a good girl for your teacher and do as I say.” She tells you and you whimper while all the moisture goes right to your pussy. “Are you that excited to be a good girl for me?” She asks and you nod. She then curls her fingers inside of you and you start seeing stars.
“I’m so close, I’m so close.” You tell her and she feels you clench around her fingers and she moans at the feeling.
“Be a good girl and come for me.” She tells you and you immediately come, like the good girl you are.
She gets in bed beside you after helping you clean yourself up and she wraps and arm around you and you both fall asleep. The next morning Melissa wakes up and sees you’re already gone and she sighs. She walks downstairs, a bit weirdly due to last night and she sees a note.
‘Last night was fun, txt me ;)
xxx-xxx-xxxx’
She reads it with a smile and immediately puts your number in her phone and texts you.
Melissa: Hey, it’s the hot ginger. I noticed there was a girl missing in my bed this morning.
She texts it to you and then she goes to get breakfast ready but then gets a notification and sees it’s from you.
You: Hey hot ginger, maybe that should be your name in my phone 😉
You: Sorry I left, I had plans with my parents this morning but I’d like to do it again sometime if you also want to as well
Melissa: Yes I’d love to, just one question
You: What’s that?
Melissa: Mi casa or su casa?

Ours
Rafe Cameron
Description: This will be a short story on how two people who love each other find their way back to one another. They have a child together and have to focus on giving her the best version of themselves but maybe their best version of themselves is when they are apart.
No matter the reason why Rafe and I weren’t officially together could ever make me deny him seeing his daughter. Rafe and I were two young to know what life would bring us after we met 4 years ago. At 19 I needed a change after graduating high school, so I moved to the outer banks. My friends came over to visit and when our pre campfire on the beach was rudely interrupted by a drunk girl, Rafe was there to watch as his friend Topper stopped the girl from starting a fight with one of my friends. My friend was more confident than me and invited them to stay and enjoy the sunset, since then Rafe and I spent most of our free days together. 3 years later I found out we were pregnant. Now I won’t admit I was scared because I wasn’t. Yet per my mother, my actions would tell you otherwise. When I found out I couldn’t block Rafe out of my life for even a day before he started sending constant messages and calling. I definitely couldn't ignore when he would personally go out of his way to come and find me. I was running out of places to hide so I had decided to move back home for a bit. I couldn’t stay too long because it would make my family suspicious, so thankfully being in my first trimester gave me the advantage to knock that reason out of the way. But soon I had to go back and face the decision I had made. The time back home had given me 3 weeks to think how and when I was going to tell Rafe about our future child. Since I was young, I knew I always wanted to be a mother, not this young but truthfully, I was jumping on clouds. The one thing I wanted to make sure before getting pregnant was choosing the right father for my children. He needed to be kind, loving, protective, but most of all understanding. Rafe was all of that and more. Not only did he have all those traits he also made me feel comfortable around him. He was the first man in my life that took care of the little girl who was scared to show herself. He brought out the pain and made it disappear. So, as I walked over to his property in Tanny hill I was determined to settle with whatever he chose to do with the information, that was until I saw him and another girl in his kitchen sharing a drink. I shouldn’t have gone into conclusion, but I was pregnant, and all my emotions were everywhere. I trusted him and when he found out I was back on the island he came to find me. He told me who she was and how he loved me. If it was me alone, I would jump on his arms and take him back, but it wasn’t. I needed to think of the little creature growing inside of me now, so after telling him I was pregnant I also told him I needed time to think about us. I wasn’t testing him, but this little person has become my world, and I needed to prepare to give them my all before welcoming it to the real world.
“We don’t like it here.” I hear the low and grumpy tone coming from behind me. As I turn, I let out a chuckle seeing Rafe and our daughter sharing the same expression. He had her hooked up to his chest as we were making our way to yet another antique store.
“I can understand it from her, but you need to stop acting like a baby.” I shut the tailgate of his trunk and started walking. I heard another groan but soon enough his heavy footsteps were getting closer and closer until he was walking alongside me.
“Promise me you won’t be like your mommy?” I roll my eyes and shake my head. I knew where this sentence was going. “Well,” I could feel his eyes on me, but I continued to walk towards the entrance of the store. “Maybe the good parts but when it comes to shopping, I hope you will drain my bank account at decent stores.” I grab the door hand and pull it open. Rafe walks in giving me a teasing look. I don’t respond knowing it would only lead to a longer conversation down a hole I don’t like. I walk over to grab a cart and walk over to where Rafe is waiting for me. “Every time you come into an antique store you buy nothing. Why do you always bring a cart?”
“Habit.” I shrug as I begin to look around. My mother, siblings and I would enjoy a Saturday in thrift stores and antique shops. We would later get food and rush home with a smile on our faces, it didn’t matter if we were carrying 12 bags or nothing, we were happy.
“Habits do die hard.” He says in a lower tone. I straightened up looking over to him as he played with our daughter's hands. I walk closer, placing my hands over his.
“And I am very proud of you Rafe,” As I looked into his eyes, I felt words choking to get out, but I held them down.
“What a beautiful baby.” Our heads turn looking over to a mid-thirties lady? as she smiled towards us. “Oh, look at her tiny shoes!” She squealed coming over to touch her small shoes. “I remembered my kid's feet being this small, almost making me want another little one.” We laugh alongside her. “Are you two planning to have more?” That question made my smile fade really quick. I looked over to Rafe who had a similar expression. “Either way you two are still young. Enjoy her this little and as much as possible because time goes by fast. You spend your time on things other than family and when you decide to give it priority it's too late.” Her words were like a knife stabbing me right in the heart.
“How many kids do you have?” I could hear their conversation faintly. My fingers began to tighten along the cart's handle. My body began to heat up while my head was spinning.
“Well, it was nice to talk to you two, but I have to find my two devils running around here somewhere.” I was functioning enough to give her a smile before she walked away.
“You, okay?” Rafe moves closer looking over my face. I nod slowly before shaking the uneasiness away and smiling up at him again.
“Yeah. We need to hurry if we want to catch the other stores before they close.” Rafe groans, throwing his head back.
“Oh, we wouldn’t want that now, would we?” I raised my hand to playfully shove him but then I remembered he was holding our daughter. “Did you see that?” he exaggerated as he turned to look down. “Mommy was trying to hurt daddy.” I roll my eyes and turn around to continue walking. My heart was melting when I heard our baby giggling at his fake studded words. “See, she agrees with me.”
“She does because she is such a daddy’s girl.” I turn my head to see Rafe smiling proudly as our baby looks up to him in admiration. “Just wait until she starts dating,” I bite my lips holding back a laugh to how fast his smile fell. “She will put you second,” I teasingly whispers.
“No, she would not! I will make sure of it because she won’t date until I am dead” I come to a halt and turn around to face him.
“I am %110 percent sure she would choose him and fight against you to keep the boy around.”
“Nothing backs up your statement.” He keeps his head high.
“She is a girl.” I simply state. “She will be smart but at the end of the day she is a girl. And as a girl myself I know it will happen because I happened to me,” He looks down with confusion on his face.
“What?” He questioned.
“I argued with my father because of a boy, till this day he still doesn’t like him. but I would do it again.” I don’t regret getting into an argument because of him. I choose the right choice to protect the boy's name, because he keeps on defying everything my father said he was going to do and be. “But don’t worry too much, you two will be okay.”
“Are you and your dad, okay?” I shake my head. I haven’t even told them I had a child. I know my father loved me but until I had Rafe, and I figured out, he would never accept it. I also am not in a hurry because it's my life and I am very happy.
“We will be.” I let out a sigh seeing how even our daughter was keeping quiet. “Let go because I am already hungry.” I smile, turning around to focus back on the shelves. I picked up a small book that read Collection Shakespeare: Hamlet. Before I opened it the book was taken from my hand. Rafe’s face comes to sit right beside my ear. His hot breath fanned down my neck and I could feel his smile radiate against my skin.
“Well until that happens, I can be your daddy,” He slowly whispers. His warm breath moves closer, and I couldn’t help but close my eyes when he places a kiss on the crook of my neck. It had been so long since I felt his lips on such a little intimate spot. When I regained my conscious back, he had already parted. I turned around to him, opening the small yellow book. “I will start by reading my two girls a book” I opened my mouth to speak but he held up his fingers to shush me. I watch our daughter enticed by his voice as he reads Hamlet. His eyes following along the words and looking over to me, when he sees a smile placed on my lips he continues his interpretation of the book. I lean against the cart and watch as he continues to be and grow into the father I prayed for my children.

Batfamily x batdad
Hey ya missed me
Warnings: mentions of human sexual interaction why did I typed it like that? I’m getting sleep deprived…
—————————————
Since kids you and Bruce became inseparable. Always by each other’s side. When Bruce’s parents died you helped him and Alfred, it was more than tough for them it was like that for a couple of years. It was before he left for his training that Bruce told you his feeling for you. You were so happy to hear Bruce saying he liked you. “Well… Bruce I also feel strong feelings for you and if training will help you and everyone else I’ll wait-”
“Wow, wow, wow Hold on!” Dick stopped talking after he heard Jason scream out “I refuse to believe there weren’t any problems while both dad and Bruce were together” Dick smiled “well you see Dad and Bruce’s relationship is-” “wait what about the time that Ra’s tried to weaken dad and Bruce’s relationship by telling them how they hide their problems and won’t let anyone help because they were “childish” ” “not really you see-” “Bullshit! What really happened was-
“I don’t give a damn Bruce you act all knowing and strong when you still act like a child! You left me and Alfred alone for 10 whole years! And you still think you can just go around and fight criminals like you are some kind of superhero!? Fuck you man! I thought after 4 years of being together married it meant something to you, I meant something to you.” “M/n you just don’t understand! You don’t understand how hard it is to keep up with this all of this. Taking down criminals, faking a whole other personality I don’t even know what I am now! And now I have to keep up with you?”
“You signed for this after you married me you can’t just take responsibility on everything Bruce.” “If I don’t then who will? I can’t just stand there and let-I don’t know!” “I just wanted to have a normal life you know! I can’t stand how you lied to my face for 4 years maybe if you told me everything would’ve been fixed!” “You don’t-”
“I don’t what Bruce!? For crying every night after you leave bed?, when you are not in the morning to just eat breakfast? Or always when we have date nights you leave for “work. All affection I get from my husband is a single kiss at least once a week… I just want you Bruce is that too much to ask for?”
Bruce looked at the floor knowing he couldn’t stop what he already begun, he really wanted to help you. Kiss you, spend every day with you no matter what happens. , but he couldn’t stop.
“In sorry M/n, You signed for this after you married me, you should’ve expected it.”
Your eyes went wide as you saw the friend and lover you trusted with your heart go away without even a thought.
“That’s how it happened.” Everyone eyes went wide except Damian. Steph started crying. “Wait so they-they don’t love each other?” “No-no-no! I’m sure they love each other right?” While Cass tried calming Dick and Steph down she saw Jason mischievous grin and instantly knew what was going to happen. She covered Damian’s ears with her hands. “Wait what’s going on?”
“Oh they do love each other! So much that last week I heard dad screaming out “give it to me, oh it feels so good!” Dick screamed in horror while Steph just had a disgusted expression on her face. “ and then Bruce said “get pregnant, I’m going to give you a kid. That’s what you get for talking with that Boy Scout in blue too much!” Hahahahaha it was so funny don’t you think but of course they love each other don’t they?” “I think I’m going to throw up-” Steph said as she ran to the trash can near the bat computer. “NO I CANT GET IT OUT OF MY MIND!” Dick said as he started crying
Cass left Damian’s ears “wait what happened? What did Todd said? Richard!?” The Batmobile landed slowly and softly on the ground which meant nothing big really happened just some criminals here and there. “Oh! Hey guys-….. Oh my god what happened?” “Why is it so messy here and why are you all not asleep!” Bruce said as he saw Steph throwing up on a trash can, Dick screaming and crying in the floor, a confused and worried Damian, and a laughing Jason who looked like he was about to pee his pants. “Your dad and Alfred leave for 1 week and it’s already a mess in here!” Bruce said as he shook his head.
“What happened here?” Tim and Duke said almost in chorus. Cass you gave them an expression that clearly said you don’t want to know.

A Letter from Dorian Pavus to Inquisitor Lavellan
//OOC//: I’ve always loved Lavellan and Dorian’s friendship. In my Inquisitor’s case, Dorian and Elliana are platonic soulmates, found siblings. The idea that Lavellan leaves for the Fade with no word to her dearest friend, I just know Dorian would be so pissed and so petty. I’ve decided to write a few letters back and forth between them, Elliana in the Fade with Solas and Dorian dealing with the aftermath of all that’s happened.
Enjoy!
Inquisitor,
I want you to know first and foremost, that you are a fucking fool and I’ll never forgive you. How do you think I felt, wiping off all the grim and kaffas from my body and having to hear from that damn witch Morrigan of all people, that you were gone. Spirited away into the Fade with him.
It was humiliating to have to tell the rest of our comrades. Especially Bull. He’s told me for years that given the chance, you’d do whatever it took to be with that..absolute fucking sham of a god and a man I told him there was no possible way you’d give you power over to him again. Guess who lost that bet? Do you know what that’s going to do to his damn ego?
And now, best of all, I get the clean up your mess! Who do you think is going to have to organize the South now that you’ve taken a convenient exit? Did none of this cross your mind, or has going eight years with no sex just completely ruined your rational thought?
*there are several more crossed out words, unusual for Dorian whose letters were always near and precise, just like his spoken tongue*
Ten years. That’s how long I’ve seen you suffer. Do you have any idea what it was like to watch you go through that?
After he’d taken your arm. Told you not to follow him. Threw you aside, because that fucking bastard didn’t think you were worth taking, much less sticking around for. I’d never seen you like that. Silent, despondent. After you gave the Inquisition to the Chantry, when we returned to Skyhold to move our people, it was like you weren’t even there for months.
That one day when you finally rose from bed. I was so relieved, seeing you actually want to leave your room. I was even proud, you know, when you made your way to the rotunda. I thought, this was it, you’d put him behind you, and we’d leave. Leave Skyhold, because that place was a shrine to him. To your time with him.
I wasn’t worried at first when you’d started throwing paint on his walls, destroying what he’d painted. When you flipped the table, took your daggers to his couch, then I grew a bit concerned.
Who cleaned you when you were covered in paint and tears? Who put you to bed again? Who stayed, when he didn’t stay?
Me. Was I not enough?
After that day, I made you promise me that you’d live, and that you’d live well, because we’d both be damned if he take up any more room in your life than he already had. And what do you do instead? You went with him.
No warnings. No explanations. No goodbyes.
When we were getting ready for the final push on Elgar’nan, you knew, didn’t you? That if you saw him again, you would leave us all behind. Leave me behind.
*there is a suspicious circular mark on the page, just beside the previous sentence*
Well, it doesn’t matter. You’ve made your choice. Mine is to retire in Minrathous and see if Iron Bull can behave himself around the Shadow Dragons.
I hope you’re happy.
I don’t know if you’ll even see this. When Morrigan told me there was a chance you would, I figured why not? At least you’ll get to see all that you’re missing. We’ll be just fine without you. It’s your loss, truly. I’m magnificent company, as you are well aware. I give you six months. Maybe less. Time works differently in the Fade, after all.
But if you ever find the Fade dull, or that fucking twit of yours abandons you again, just know I will be looking forward to gloating in person.
I won’t forgive you. I won’t hear your apologies.
With abundant annoyance, disgust, and love,
Dorian
