Thoughts on Danny Phantom Season 3

So.

I mentioned lately that I recently got through rewatching all of Danny Phantom, and now that I've seen the series with a fresh pair of eyes, including the third season, I feel like giving my honest opinion on the latter season.

I should point out that I was a teenager myself while DP was airing, and I remember frequenting websites with other Danny fans, and being excited for new episodes.

And I know that this is probably an unpopular opinion but...I don't think the third DP season was bad. It was more wasted potential than anything else.

Like?! There WERE good ideas here--I really liked seeing the new ghosts, good and bad! I would have loved to see more of Danny and Frostbite's student-mentor relationship! I would have liked to see more of Amorpho and Undergrowth--not to mention Dani and Valerie! Jazz as a more full-fledged member of Team Phantom!

Maybe you disagree with me, and that's fine, this is just my opinion--but I feel like one more season, or at least more episodes in the third season to expand the story and characters naturally, would have benefitted the series greatly. The third season just feels like a LOT crammed into one season, that didn't even run as long as the other two, and that made the last third of the show feel...inorganic?

Also yeah, if I've said it once I'll say it a thousand times--Valerie and Dani were done dirty. Justice for my girls!

Today has been a bit of a day tbh but as well as buying my mum a phone I'm doing a sort of trial with an s23 ultra to see if I like it.

I asked the customer support about their return policy and just not liking the phone is a valid reason to return it so I have 2 weeks to see what I think. They'll just accept the return with no fuss for a full cash refund. No store credit or any such nonsense xD

My first thoughs so far is that phones haven't really changed much since my last phone the note 10 plus. Like it's a little faster, the battery is a bit bigger, and the camera is better but that kinda seems to be it at this point.

The s-pen is supposed to be more responsive but I pretty much exclusively use my phones pen to play picross xD If I ever try to get into art again I'd use my s7 tablet just for the bigger screen so that's not too important to me.

A few days ago I started thinking about getting a bridge piercing. I have a feeling it might look good on me idk. Since then it is like I have a phantom piercing in my face like I can feel it there grounding me but it is not there: it is all just air.

Somehow, after months of not moving a muscle, I managed to get off my ass and do some light stretching + a whole damn abs routine too, that I still have no idea how I got through it, I remember it being hard on Normal day, and now my whole body is feeling this little workout and I'm like?? Twenty Day Challenge - Day Fifteen

Type: Suggestive. Timeline: Post-summer camp arc. Location: Yagi and Fin's shared dorm at U. A..

Another short but sweet one.

It had been a quiet day..and an even quieter night. Yagi had finally been released fully from his bandages and his sling- a massive load off his shoulders. Hopefully, now, his colleagues and students wouldn't treat him as something like glass...but, admittedly, his strength was anything but formidable, now.

"...Fin....there's something I've been meaning to give you for a bit, now." He'd caught their attention. He could see them perking up slightly, confusion lacing those hazel hues he knew so well. He tried to school his expression- keeping it calm and collected as he pulled a piece of paper out of his suit jacket- sliding it cautiously across the small table.

He could just about see Fin's expression slowly changing, reading over the document he'd placed before their eyes. They glanced up- as if to ask if he was serious- receiving a faint nod to their unspoken question. Yagi pulled a pen from his pocket- and quietly placed it beside the document.

"...ar-e you...really sure?" Their voice was quiet, even as they reached for the pen.

"...of course I am." He hadn't just been saying things on I-Island, after all. "...this'll just make it legal." Instead of the two being married only in metaphors... The small scratching sounds of paper and pen filled the dorm room for a few moments- before Fin slid the paper back.

Finley Well.

He would have to wait for the ink to dry- but the sight brought a slightly-brighter smile to the blond's face.

"...I guess we should celebrate, then...after all, tonight's our wedding night." He stood from the table long enough to grab some cheese and a bottle of wine- popping the top off with a small grin. "And we can seal the deal later...~" His voice had dropped an octave, watching as Fin's face quickly started to go pink. Heh...they were so easy to fluster.

"That's for later, though. For now.." He poured them a glass, unable to wipe the smile off his face. "...let's just enjoy." And chat...but he knew the longer he waited, the more flustered Fin would get- all part of the plan... It was a purposeful touch of the shoulder, leaning just a little too close when the two finally got up to make soup- breathing so close to their ear, his voice lowering every now and again to keep the suspense up...

He couldn't help it.

After all, tonight would become their anniversary.
