My rant about CMI 13🥰

Hiii Rid, I just finished catching up with CMI and pls I loved it so much. Reading the 2 chapters gave me so much comfort. I really needed it so I am very grateful for you and your writing. I am happy I found you! The whole hometown arc was AMAZING! I think this chapter was my favorite of all time. I loved how jk‘s mom and his brother were so welcoming and nice. 😭 Ria is such a sweetheart I loved her! And it was so interesting to see how the jealousy slowly grew from the beginning of the chapter and later exploded at the wedding. I personally loved the bicycle + strawberry plucking scene and the fountain +gift scene the most! It was so heartwarming and so fluffy. Their love is so pure and innocent like it makes you wonder if a love like this truly exists and if it does how lucky they are to have it.🥹 I wrote many things down for this chapter so I am having troubles typing it down LMAO. But the whole NARA situation goddamn it was so good, like I am a sucker for drama so it was chefs kiss. Oc‘s overthinking and her insecurities were portrayed so well, I could feel everything she felt and this shows how great of a writer you are! I am happy Nara spoke to Oc at the end and that they both cleared the air. I also felt a little sad for Nara cuz it’s hard growing up with your first love and yk growing apart and breaking up with the one you thought was the one for you… but tbh I am glad the Nara plot ends here cuz I love my girlie Oc. THO I must say I am interested in Nara‘s life like what she does and who she will meet and fall in love with. She deserves all the happiness cuz she seems like a nice and kind person. It had been on a whim he’d bought the lingerie set, how could he not, what with the scarlet shade of the material that matched the hair of his lover so perfectly. It had called to him like a siren in the fog from the moment he’d seen it in the shop window. Though, the one he’d seen was made for a more petite frame, but he just had to go in and see if he could get one for himself.

The…person(?) minding the shop - someone he could only describe as an okama - was more than accomodating, if not a bit nosy, “Ohh, I’m pretty sure I saw you down at the docks yesterday with that hot redhead, I’m guessing this is for him, hmmm?”

It wasn’t often Killer was overly grateful for his mask, but from the way his face heated up, this was one of those times.

“Go get ‘im, sweetie!” The shopkeeper had cooed, waving after him as Killer made his hasty escape with his newest purchase.

He had nothing against overly feminine men, had slept with more than a few before he started dating Kid and a couple since, it was just the bubbly-ness that made the normally stoic man uneasy.

Now, a few weeks later and out at sea, Killer had snuck away from Kid’s twenty-first birthday party to prepare his gift. His face burned deeper than it had back at the shop, idly wondering if he should just take it off and forget the whole thing. In the near three years they’d been dating, they’d never done anything to do with lace or lingerie before now, so he didn’t even know if Kid would like it. Personally, Killer liked it, least, he’d like it on Kid. The blonde had slept with a few women who’d worn lingerie back on the island Doc had raised them on, though nothing as elaborate at what he was wearing. He had loved the soft feeling of it against his skin, and the ones who wore matching stockings who didn’t mind keeping them on? Heaven. Killer reached for Kid’s spare coat, careful to not get the golden spikes caught on the delicate material covering his pectorals and shoulders. He climbed into the bed, pulling the coat tight around his body and hiding his stocking covered legs under the sheets. He checked he had everything, lube, water, massage oil, all accounted for. Shifting a bit to lean on one hand, while keeping the coat closed with the other and doing his trying to give his best bedroom eyes, he waited.

It for wasn’t long, thankfully. The heavy boot steps of his captain getting louder and louder - muffled by the near soundproof walls Kid had installed while building the ship - before stopping outside the locked door. The sound of the lock clunking out of place made his heart skip a beat, body tensing as he gave a quick glance down to check the coat was still covering everything.

The door slowly opened with a creak, the young captain poking his head in, gaze immediately zeroing in on the bed, and a grin spreading across his face as he stepped into the room, “Ooh, a wrapped present, lucky me!”

The door was closed and locked in a second, Kid quickly striding towards him, all eager and excited, like a child eyeing a new shiny toy. Killer frowned, shifting to lift his hand off the bed and stop the near charging redhead, who froze, perplexed.

“Shower.”

“Aw, c’mon babe, it’s my birthday,” Kid said with a playful pout, going to lean and kiss his partner.

Killer shoved his face away, getting red lipstick smeared over his palm, “Yeah, but that doesn’t mean I’m letting you stick your dirty dick in my ass.”

The young man paused, eyes widening with glee, “Wait, I can top?”

“It’s your birthday,” the blonde sighed, grip tightening on his borrowed coat, “you can do whatever you want with me, so long as it’s within my limits, and,” he eyes flashed as he glared, “so long as you shower.”

“Be right back,” Kid was gone, darting towards their private bathroom, throwing his clothes off as he went and only had his pants, socks and one boot on by the time he rounded the corner to the shower.

“I’ll know if you’ve washed properly!” Killer called out.

“Whatever!” Kid shouted over a loud clanging sound, the force of the shower being turned on so suddenly causing the pipes to rattle within the walls.

The blonde sighed, corner of his mouth curving up slightly as he shook his head, checking once again he had everything.

Kid, at the very least, took a decently long shower, coming back out with his hair still dripping, welding goggles hanging from his fingertips. God he always looked so good with his hair down, disheveled and rugged, with that cocky smirk glinting at him.

Being shirtless - water droplets still clinging to the curve of his muscles - wasn’t helping dull Killer’s arousal either.

“Saw the oil and thought I’d have the decency to put my pants on,” Kid said, placing his goggles on the map table in the middle of the room, he stalked over to Killer, slowly leaning over him, grinning, “since you’re offering.”

He hummed, nodding his head, face flushed, too turned on to speak. Hmmm I guess it's Doctor Who.
