i want to request Generation of Miracles (knb) reacting to their so being ex gymnasts and/ athlete if possible? Like it just came up in a casual conversation with a parent of s/o showing off old pictures of s/o training and winning medals and trophies but it all unexpectedly ended up with a serious hands injury so they stopped right before a big world wide event? She’s just as flexible as before now with lighter training than before!

Akashi

Surprised in himself that he didn’t know. Akashi makes it a point to be well informed. He is pleased to hear their parents be so proud of them, even if they can’t compete anymore. It’s a rare thing for him for parents to be proud. He does see though that talking about the past hurts them, so he quickly moves to change the conversation to new, current achievements.

Aomine

Aomine never knew. But then again, he didn’t ask. He suddenly realizes talking to their parents that he doesn’t know a lot about his partner, other than just superficial junk that’s not really important. He asks why they never told him about it and they tell him it’s not important anymore, but he can tell that it is. If he lost basketball Aomine would lose it. He can’t think about what they must be going through, losing their dream, and he’s hurt that they didn’t trust him enough to share it with him.

Kise

Excited to talk about their accomplishment. Even though they can’t compete anymore, their work beforehand and their work & knowledge now is impressive. Kise is the only one that doesn’t treat their injury like a loss, but that and opportunity to change course. Like coaching. Or being a manager of a team. He encourages them to continue doing what they love, even if they can’t do it exactly the same, and is supportive of their new goals.

Kuroko

It’s certainly a surprise. Since Kuroko has never met this person, the ‘athlete s/o’, it’s definitely a shift in his opinion of them. He asks a lot of questions on what competitions were like or what is was like doing stunts, but he doesn’t really know too much about the sport of gymnastics. Basketball has been the only one he was ever interested in. Tries to be supportive and notices when they get a little upset talking about it. When he lost his old friends after middle school, he thought he would lose his friends & sport forever. So he can sympathize.

Midorima

He figured that they were some kind of athlete. Based on their build and how they worked out sometimes, they clearly had a strict schedule and routine for performance. Midorimia feels bad for them. He can’t imagine your dream getting taken away like that. All that hard work down the drain. Chooses to not bring it up anymore because he doesn’t want to upset them, but does ask for stretching tips as that is a big part of gymnastics training.

Murasakibara

Doesn’t really know what to say. Murasakibara has never really been interested in his sport. He plays it cause he’s tall, he’s good at it, and it gives him something to do. He would be just as happy not play as he is on a team. So he can’t really understand what they are going through. He thinks their medals are cool though. He’s never gotten a medal for basketball. Maybe if they had those instead of trophies he would be more invested.

+Kagami

It breaks his heart to know that their career is over. Kagami would die if he could never play basketball again, or his dreams of going pro were suddenly over. He can’t imagine how hard that must be, but he knows someone who does. Kagami makes a point to introduce them to Alex. Alex would understand and be a good support person for them. Teaching them how to cope and maybe use their skills for a new hobby or path. Kagami tries to be supportive as well and a source of comfort when they need it. Whatever they need he’s there for them.

Hello!! Soooo I was reading your headcannons about Shane going with his S/O to the mines and that got me thinking. How would the Bachelors (and maybe also the Bachelorettes) react to a Gn S/O who kicks a slime or other monster in the face which kills it instantly? The Bachelors/Bachelorettes are either shocked or impressed as the S/O explains they just are really good at kicking and could probably break open a rock if they wanted to.

Sticks to swinging a bat at them (I think he would have a bat or like a pipe or something) but thinks it’s cool that you have hand to hand…or monster to foot combat down.

Sebastian stares as you kick a duggy to death. It honestly was getting in the way of you digging for treasure and nipping at your ankles every time you weren’t paying attention. It only took one good kick for it to die and as you breathe out a puff of air in frustration, your boyfriend simply nods to himself and continues the search for anything you could donate to the museum.

“Are you gonna say anything?” You ask

He just shrugs in response, “no not really…”

In all honesty he figured you had to have a way to survive down here for hours. While kicking wasn’t the usual way, it did work and that’s all that really matters to him.

Sam

Probably did not realize at first and was like okay yeah cool it’s dead

Then realized and probably shouted VERY LOUDLY

The stupid things take SO long to die. You kill them and they just come right back unless you blow it up…or give it a good kick to the face out of annoyance. Sam’s eyebrows raise for a second before he continues to break rocks, wanting to get this adventure over with.

Then comes the excited shouting. He’s holding you by your shoulders, shaking you and yelling words that don’t quite make it to your ears. “Sam, please!” You shout over him, the echoing sounds starting to hurt your head.

“I’m sorry,” he lets go of you but is still bouncing in place, “but that was so cool! I wanna kick things!”

Shane

Openly thinks it’s hot

Is very relieved because he never comes down into the mines and does at least want to know you’re safe

Steals your kicking strategy because it is quicker and more efficient

Do those things ever die? Can a skeleton die? How can a skeleton even be alive if not inside a per-okay they’re kicking it….and it’s dead. Wow.

Shane just stares in slight confusion as his mind races to catch up with the events that just unfolded in front of him. It was kinda fun taking out his feelings on monsters that were technically picking a fight first, but then thinking about the morality and the actual logic of it all distracted him until you actually kick a real life skeleton in the face causing it to finally permanently die. He says nothing to you, but does give you an amused smirk before adopting your strategy as his own. Kicking is way more fun than hitting rocks anyways.

Alex

It thew Alex off when the rock he had hit with a pickaxe started moving. It threw him off even further when said rock pinched him with its apparent pincers that he didn’t even know it had. His brain completely left his skull when you kicked the thing to death with one good stomp because it had pinched him.

It didn’t even hurt that much because he wasn’t paying any attention to his wound and instead staring at you with what could only be described as adoration. Alex clears his throat and grind at you, “how ‘bout a kicking contest? Winner gets a prize”.

“What prize?” You ask, confused about his reaction. You thought he would be in a little pain at least.

“Whatever the winner decides I guess…” you shake his outstretched hand. This was going to go well for you. Now all there is left to do is think about what you want as your prize.

Would be absolutely floored.

He is never coming into the mines again but at least his anxiety has gone down just a little bit (well went up then down so technically it is lower than previously).

The little thing on the ground wasn’t terrifying in the slightest, but your ferocity in destroying it made Harvey think that it was more serious than he understood it to be. Don’t get him wrong, all of the things in this mine could kill someone easily, but the monster that looked like a big ass worm didn’t really seem like a big deal compared to everything else you two had come across.

His mouth hung open as he stared at you as you glared at the stained spot where the worm thing used to be. “It would’ve turned into a monster that could fly.” You offer as soon as you turn to look at him. He nods and makes a mental note to get you muscle relaxers or something because your legs definitely have to be sore after this.

Elliott

Is MORTIFIED

like he was not expecting you to do that at ALL

The mines aren’t his favorite place and he’s glad you can defend yourself but it’s also TERRIFYING.

Probably will insert this into one of his novels where you’re already a character because it’s hot.

The bouncing little jelly things were more dangerous than Elliott had expected. Sure, he knew to some degree that you being tough was a fact because you were in these mines damn near every day for hours at a time. Whenever you came back home after a trip to the mines, covered in bruises and cuts after midnight, he always felt thankful that you had made it back home alive. But this was more than he expected. If something that looked this harmless could make him feel heavy and tired enough to wanna just lay down and die, how strong were the other monsters that lived in these mines?

Snapping out of his distracted thoughts, he watches as everything happens too quickly in front of him, rendering him unable to help because you got everything under control before he could even think to help. In one second you’re hissing in pain after a slime that you both had missed crashed into you, then the next your foot lifts up and then kicks the slime across the room. The thing splatters into goo on the wall as you check yourself for any serious injuries. Elliott calls out to you in shock, rushing over to also look over you because he wouldn’t be fully calm without checking you himself.

As you two stand in the now empty room, checking each other for any injuries that might make you leave early, Elliott can’t help but think that a sexy strong love interest in his novels is just what he needs to make his work skyrocket in popularity.

You accidentally dropped your pumpkin on the table, causing Sarah to jump. "Ahh! Jesus, man!" She whined, fist pounding repeatedly into your shoulder as you laughed. Raising your hands, you said, "I didn't mean to, girl. Your dad couldn't carry it for me." You smiled. Joel stuck up his middle finger in the other room, grabbing the knives you'd be using.

Rolling up the sleeves on your sweater, you grabbed bowls to put the pumpkin guts in. "Sarah, do you wanna help me make pumpkin seeds later? Maybe pumpkin rolls?" You asked, grabbing the knives from Joel and leading him into the dining room where you set up. "Totally. Remember, I got a date tonight, though." She replied, grabbing a knife and cutting the top off.

Joel stopped in his tracks, he looked frozen. "You got a..what?" He asked, seemingly angry but you knew he wasn't actually. Sarah giggled. "I'm going on a date with Alex. He's taking me to a movie, then he's gonna take me home after watching the sunset." You smiled at Joel, mouth not speaking but eyes just saying: Joel, please, just let her have fun.

"Ok. Just be careful. Don't do anything stupid." He looked at you, seeing the smile spread across your face. He grinned back, eyes a little angry but nothing else seemed to be the problem. You grabbed your phone, searching for a Halloween playlist and when you and Sarah heard the first beat, you knew it was the Monster Mash.

Reaching out your hand, you said, "Care to dance?" A chuckled slipped from Joel's lips, watching you two. "Why of course!" Sarah replied in a British accent.

You took her hand, pulling her up and holding her other hand and just moving around all 'willy nilly', as Joel would say. He rolled his eyes and grabbed a random Sharpie, drawing what he wanted to carve on his pumpkin. You were still dancing when you heard him cap the marker and stand up with a soft grunt. You closed your eyes, feeling his hands wrap around your waist from the back, fingers spreading against your stomach.

"Hey, baby." You beamed. "Hey, darlin'." He replied, kissing your temple, holding you while you continued to dance and Sarah fake gagged. "Get a room!" She growled. Joel flipped his middle finger again as he kissed your face all over, ending on kissing your lips. Sarah groaned loudly.

You all eventually sat down and finally started carving. You ended up with a little kitty cat face, Joel made a classic, yet crooked, jack-o-lantern, and Sarah made what she called a "pimp-kin". It was some stupid guy with a beard and a leopard print hat and a drawn on fur jacket. It made Joel really upset, but you couldn't stop laughing.

Happily, you all placed the pumpkins down on the front porch, the Austin weather not very cool, but it was still nice. You put fake candles inside each one, taking a picture with Joel and Sarah behind them. You made Sarah take another one with you and Joel kissing. She moved her arms, motioning she was throwing up.

Joel nudged her arm, pushing her onto the ground. He guffawed, hardy and loud. It made you happy to see him happy. It made him happy to see both of his girls happy. "I love you, Joel." You giggled. "Love you too, babydoll." He showed his crooked grin, the smile spreading his nose out across his face. You kissed him with your own smile and watched Sarah roll her eyes again before stepping inside in front of you.

As a reminder, these two posts follow a theory of mine that:

Alphas smell so strong and overpowering, bordering on just smelling Bad™️;

Betas smell natural and comforting (average, no major complaints);

Omegas smell sickly sweet and so overwhelming it could make someone ill.

Alejandro

Omega Alejandro smells like fresh ripe figs, straight off the tree, juicy and warm.

Beta Alejandro smells like graphite or charcoal. And it's a mix of fresh and a little strong, clears your airways right up type of thing.

Alpha Alejandro smells like creme brulée or, in other words, custard, and burnt sugar/caramel. Especially the BURNT sugar part. (Personal preference. Find that scent too strong).

Rodolfo

Omega Rudy? Brown sugar or just straight up molasses.

Beta Rudy? Orange flower water.

Alpha Rudy smells like Green Olives. (I love Olives, I would lick that man up)

Alex

Omega Alex smells of either brownies or cinnamon rolls.

Beta Alex smells like warm milk and honey, or, in short, any of those Palmolive lotions/body washes that mix Milk + Sweet Fragrance.

Alpha Alex smells like glue/solvant, maybe even acetone or nail polish remover.

Farah

Omega Farah smells of cinnamon. Not cinnamon rolls like Alex. Just cinnamon.

Beta Farah smells like tea leaves, especially the damp ones, fresh off a tea bag or tea steeper.

Alpha Farah smells of a strong flower. Roses or Lillies. So strong and commanding regardless of how flowery it is.

Valeria

Omega Valeria smells like chemicals but not in a bad way. She smells like shampoo and conditioner and all the products used in a hair salon, in the hot air of the hair dryers...

Beta Valeria smells of papaya. Fresh fruit, juicy and tasty.

Alpha Valeria smells of tobacco leaves. NOT cigarettes. Just tobacco leaves... which are VERY strong in their natural scent.

Graves

Omega Graves has the most gentle scent of shredded coconut. Especially the kind that's on top of a cake. Sickly sweet and tooth-rotting.

Beta Phillip Graves smells, weirdly enough, like rosemary.

Alpha Graves smells of oil. The car kind. Dark and thick and spreading all over... Basically, he smells like an autorepair shop.

Maybe I’ve been reading too much fan fiction but part of my feels like it could really happen where Oscar assumes Lando is too cool or too wild for him and doesn’t push for more of a friendship. I remember Carlos and Daniel having no problem doing trips and social stuff or just hanging out more with Lando pretty soon after being his teammate. I feel like Oscar having been a fanboy he’s just assumed he would be too quiet and shy to join in Lando’s partying and cool friends.

(mental note here I'm speaking fully non-RPF and purely the real life friendships)

well I will weigh in and say that Carlos and Lando didn't start properly socializing (apart from golf, which was always in a group of 4 or more) until 2022 when he went for the wedding. before then yea, Lando's never minded third wheeling with Carlos and Isa like he does with Carlos and Rebecca but I don't really count that as much bc it's sort of like parents and child aslfglafg

and it was the same with Daniel - they didn't immediately bond and it was probably around the same time as with Carlos that they started hanging out more socially. it all makes sense bc Lando finally got old enough to have more in common with those guys and to fit in with their friend groups more. a 19 or even a 22 yo gamer/youtuber isn't going to have much in common with guys in their late twenties or thirties who have steady girlfriends (apart from F1 or sport) esp when Lando has always been young for his age. Lando hinted at wanting to visit Daniel's ranch like what, two or three years ago? and he only just now visited and only for one day during his winter break with his (very definitely close friend) Martin Garrix.

and it's worth saying here that an anon gave a very detailed rundown of just how much Lando and Max V have socialized for years to a degree he never has with Carlos or Daniel. same with George and Alex who he's also known for ages. so I'd say a lot can be said for people misinterpreting Lando's closeness with the F1 friends based on "bromances" rather than reality. car|ando is big business in fandom world, closely followed by dando - so that's the stuff that gets cherry picked out. but you could find the same content with Max, George or Alex.

Lando's degree of actual friendship with someone clearly takes a while for him to warm up to. and as another anon said (and as Lando said himself) he has an entire friend group from karting days who are no longer involved in racing who are his tightest friends.

so I think for those waiting for Oscar to maybe become closer friends with Lando socially, it was never going to happen after just one season! thankfully we have two more seasons to see where things go <3

as far as how Oscar feels or views himself I just feel like we're missing wayyyy too much authentic info about Oscar to make any conclusions! since it's what I do I'll theorize that it would be way less to do with Lando seeming "too cool" since Oscar's seen so much of Lando's content over the years to know that Lando would never classify himself that way lasfgljsahfa.

I think it would more come down to Oscar saying that he's a very mellow, lower energy guy and spends most of his time with Lily or his own friends in small groups in private rather than at events or clubs etc. now! a lot might still change as Oscar relaxes into his F1 role and starts getting more invites from the rest of the grid. I'd personally like to see that bc he deserves to flex a little and stake his rightful place among those guys!

but as of right now, Lando's energy levels and the type of fun he has doesn't line up with Oscar's. Lando also lives a very blissfully happy bachelor existence and that's not rly 'conducive' for a guy in a ltr. and Oscar hasn't been in Lando's life long enough to start popping up at golf or padel with his friends of 4+ years.

but considering everything Lando, Oscar, Zak, Andrea etc etc have said about what perfect teammates they make for each other, and that F1 is Lando and Oscar's number one priority in life for the foreseeable, having an F1 bond is pretty damn strong??

oh and unless he relaxes a lot more I don't see him jumping on stream with Lando. he's so carefully cultivated a friendly but not hugely accessible relationship to fandom that something as unpredictable as a stream seems way too out of character.

I'm Obsessed with the Immortal Thor 7 cover art

This cover is so detailed and just gorgeous. The covers for this series have really all been full of details, but I want to talk about this one because of all of its connections to the myths (and also previous issues).

Spoilers for The Immortal Thor.

Let's start where I always like to start, with Loki. He is buried under food, which (obviously, after reading) references his first trial of trying to eat faster than fire, called Logi both in the comic and the myth. I just love how so many characters in this myth are named versions of Loki's name (Logi, Utgard-Loki; Lukki was originally Hugi in the myth, as Loki says later), and I had hoped we would get an explanation in the mythology of why that is, but we never really do. (If anyone has seen an explanation, please let me know; I'm intrigued to hear about both contemporary analytical explanations or if an older source has an answer.)

Thor wrestling this weird, green cat. I love all of this. His tail is actually the head of a snake, complete with cute little hissy tongue. His back and tail have orange and black tiger-like stripes, but the pattern changes on his hind leg to a scaly look. The more you look at his cat face, the more you see Jormungandr's true face beneath! I love this. I love Jormungandr.

Okay, this isn't specific to the cover, but I just noticed Utgard-Loki's bone horns are shaped the same as Loki's helm. Also he's not on fire on the cover. Maybe that's to keep with the cool color scheme, but I think he looks way more metal when he's aflame.

Which brings us to these dice Utgard-Loki is rolling. They are certainly dice, but clearly only one side is marked. Why did Alex Ross (the cover artist) decide to only illustrate one side of each die? Artistically, I think probably to draw attention to these sides of the dice; if all visible sides were marked, there would be too many details with no obvious side to draw the eye. Thematically, Utgard-Loki has rigged all of these trials; the dice are meant to fall only on these sides. And each marked side has a different set of 3 runes, one of which we've seen already in this series: Raidho, which corresponds to the letter R. Interestingly, also on this same die is Thurisaz, which corresponds to Th (thank you, very difficult poetic theme choice for issue 3). So what I'm hearing you say is, hey, so is that middle rune Othala (because of course, you read that post)? Nope! However, it does represent a different sound for O (I think the long o ('oh'), because the name for the letter is Óss or "god" aka Odin, at least according to Wikipedia), so perhaps it still spells 'Thor.' Which would be BRILLIANT, because guess what the other die spells?! Lögr--kaun--íss, or LKI, LOKI. And thank god (heh) for that, because I was ready to go full analysis on the symbolism for what these runes represent, but we can safely go with Occam's Razor on this one. (Of course, I did do this with the issue 3 poem, so it's certainly something you can do, I just doubt that was the intended vision when Ross created the puzzle.) (And I am a little pissed I used Othala instead of óss/ansuz, because I could've done some great things with the symbolism. All well.)

Supernatural season 13

I've heard of the widower arc that takes place during the early part of this season but geez

Dean looks so depressed – the desolation, the hopelessness. Poor Dean Bean, lost his angel yet again. You can't help but feel for the poor guy (for now…)

Then the instant 180, uno reverse this man takes in his demeanor. He's so happy Cas is back. AND having a big cowboy adventure! They're spoiling this man after the widower arc. Jack & Sam are not down for it but Dean's been so miserable they shut the fuck up.

Dean swallowing deeply when Cas quotes Tombstone – confirmation they have movie nights together (ALONE??????) if they were alone during these movie nights – they're basically dating w/o clarifying that they are actually dating – and they're coparenting, my goodness! The domestication is real!

We later find out Dean snuck a quick shot of Cas in the little cowboy hat he made him wear for the case. Wow.

But as a side note - I did NOT appreciate how shitty Dean was to Jack. He was basically abusing him verbally like WTF give the kid a damn chance - don’t make death threats to the newborn child that was literally born yesterday like the fuck #jackdefensesquad. Like anything bad that jack actually does, he’ll think back to the moments where Dean was like ‘oh he’s a monster’ ’when you go dark side, I’ll be the one to kill you’ yeah like maybe that’s what pushed him to that point. It’s no surprise Jack chooses to leave. My ass would’ve been gone. Also was Cas made aware of the threats Dean made to Jack???

They’re making it REALLY HARD to like Dean this season. MoC was bad, Demon!Dean too but evil forces were at work. This time he got no excuse — threatening at 16 yr old girl who has no one in her corner. They’re basically forcing her to help them for nothing in return. Unbelievable 🤬 And Sam, wtf? Would it kill you to stand up to your fuckin’ brother!

Anyway - Jack’s power is totally cool though.

Kaia…was killed by an alternate self? Whaaaaaat?

So this was the season they tried for the Wayward Girls? Shame it didn’t work out…like the premise is cool BUT since the main show barely give the women characters the time of day, is it any wonder that a pilot didn’t work? The showrunners only seem good with moments - but no building up of the narrative like the male counterparts AKA main cast. Also - what would be the conflict - give people a reason to keep watching the girls - their storylines seem more or less resolved - Jody has already mourned the loss of her family, its not like she became Batman or something to fight a war against criminality. Claire has also gotten past the loss of her parents (as far as we know but honestly she should’ve been part of the main narrative as her life had been directly affected by Castiel’s actions and we all know why Cas bothers to get up in the morning…anyway), Donna doesn’t seem to have anything going on - she’s divorced but over it, Alex is over her dark past, Patience is just seeming to get a hand of her abilities - like where are the stakes??? Sam and Dean had a whole quest to embark on, then they had to navigate fraternal relationship while fighting monsters all the time, slowly unraveling an overarching narrative that’s taken over their lives. Where’s that for the ladies????

I spoke too soon - Donna’s niece gets kidnapped and Doug is her boyfriend (wow totally forgot about that guy, certainly didn’t think he’d return) and once he gets turned into a vampire but cured of it, he’s done. Before he leaves Donna, he calls her a hero. Honestly, if I ended up having a partner/lover who killed dangerous supernatural creatures, I wouldn’t leave them. I’d stick by them and have them teach me a few things. Oh well. Maybe Donna will run to Jody to have a shoulder to cry on ;) I know y’all JodyxDonna shippers are out there.

Scoobynatural was fucking legendary! I loved watching Scooby doo as a kid, from when they were literal babies, to the OG episodes, to the revamp from the early 2000s, all the movies! (Zombie Island was the best!). It was a genuine delight watching the Winchesters (and Cas) cross paths with Mystery Inc. makes me wish they met Buffy and Ash from Evil Dead. That would’ve been awesome! Watching Dean say scooby dooby doo was total cringe tho :/ I love that Cas shut him down 🤣🤣

That ascot though? He’s wearing it all wrong, its supposed to be stuffed in, like how Fred wears it. And certainly not worn with plaid. SMH…

But now I totally want Supernatural as a fucking cartoon! Just like Scooby Doo - it would’ve been fucking glorious, Dean’s unhinge-able jaw, the kooky facial expressions, the comedic effects, and who knows, it would’ve given the show-runners the artistic freedom to reveal the true form of angels, namely, Castiel’s. Oh well.

Donatello is…dead? I know they said Brain dead but after Amara sucked out his soul and Cas fucked up his brain, isn’t he better off dead? Par for the course for a prophet though, sucks for him.

Funny how Rowena suddenly wants to be the good mom and try to bring her demon son back after CENTURIES of chances. Sure she may not have known what became of Fergus since she left him, but I’m sure it wouldn’t have taken much to find out. She just didn’t want to. Now she’s filled with regret. And Sam’s destined to murder her? And she didn’t take him out? Okay, well then I guess it’s only a matter of time until she dies😒 not this season though, she’s too useful with her witchy powers to be killed off until she serves whatever purpose is convenient 😒

Angels are almost extinct :( I know they’re meant to be seen as controlling jerks but so is Dean XD lol anyway that’s a bummer with devastating consequences cuz if there’s no angels - they said all the souls will fall to Earth and become ghosts - billions in number - yeah. If it were me I would’ve just said the souls disappear but it ain’t my show 🤷🏽‍♀️

Naomi is back and I don’t even care - I’m sorry but I just don’t care about Apocalypse world either, I feel like it’s a grand waste of time. The fact that Charlie and Bobby are there doesn’t even matter cuz it’s not them. It’s not the Charlie and Bobby we got to know before. They’re just counterparts of another world, echoes of the fallen. When Dean says I can’t lose you, dude you literally just met her. And they’re expected to what, abandon the world they were born into? The fuck?

And fuck this show for killing Kevin TWICE!!! Kevin you were too precious for this universe/multiverse, whatever.

ketch is the latest (aside from rowena) of former villains/enemies/antagonist in supernatural that's suddenly we're supposed to be sympathetic towards since they switch sides and help the winchesters for a change but what's the reason??? I feel it's a little out there that Dean especially would let ketch live after what he put his mom through but whatever. since the show runners insisted with this whole apocalypse world crap, Dean would have died without ketch's help 😑

There are so many that I tought would be forever, specially from my childhood shows. Still they give me the nostalgia tingle, so its not indifference. But maybe some like Katara and Aang? Like them but dont much care. Oh, and Hinata and Naruto I dislike now, after the ignored confession I just lost all interest.

Sterek and Shizaya. Sterek has the age gap that o didn't even realize was there when I was younger. Shizaya is just all levels of toxic enemies.

Akafuri, I have it so bad for them. And it was extremely funny when they stopped being a crack ship. Also spideypool? When I started Shipping them they also didn't have anything on them, it was just funny the two together, so it's crazy that they have comics together.

Probably zosan, sterek and drarry? Zosan was in portuguese, sterek when I started reading in English and the Harry Potter fandom just has so many...

I think I have a lot of enemies/rivals ships? Or that usually have some kind of banter going on.

15. What you absolutely hate in a ship?

First, when they are boring. Second, I hate ships where one side (A) is completely obsessed with the other (B). Specially when B does not show any interest in person A and seem clueless. I can watch romance story with these plot, but I feel like in other genres they always mess the execution up and I never feel B truly has deep feelings, just that A is convenient (thats why I don't like ships such as naruhina, gruvia, stydia, Hancock x Luffy...). Just not my cup of tea.

Too Many Conventions!

Hello! 

Turns out, I'm a liar. If you read last week's blog, I ended it with a whole little plan for the next couple of weeks, completely having forgotten that I'm about to enter the most convention heavy stretch I have all year! This is my last "free" weekend until April pretty much! 

A week from today, 2/25, I'll be at the Arizona Comic Book Arts Festival! If you're anywhere near the Phoenix area and want to see me to buy comics or bring your own to get them signed, this is the place to do it! I'll be bringing a pretty chunk of my stock, including stuff from Sonic, Godzilla, and pretty much what's left of my Transformers/Hasbro stock! Maybe this one, maybe in a couple more events like this, I'm going to be running out of Transformers vs. Terminator and Wreckers, so get 'em now while you can! Becca will be there too and you can get us both to sign our little mini-comic, Jimmy Squarefoot! We'll also be bringing copies of a zine we made explaining the issues with AI! And Becca will have a bunch of other stuff at their own table! 

There are a bunch of other really great people attending including Elizabeth Brei, Danny Djeljosevic, Mitch Gerads, Steve Rude, John Layman, Henry Barajas, Jay Fotos, Jeff Mariotte, Marcy Rockwell, John Yurcaba, Andrew MacLean, Alexis Zirrit, Meredith McClaren, James Owen, Ryan Cody, Tone Rodriguez, Cecil Castellucci, and so many more! So come on out and see us! 

Then, Becca got into WaifuExpo the following weekend, 3/3-3/5! It's going to be a cool little adult (18+) focused con in the Dallas-Fort Worth area! Becca's going to be in the artist's alley and I'm going to be there as their booth babe. I will NOT be bringing any of my stuff, only Becca is tabling (*tho if you are planning to attend and get ahold of me ahead of time, I might be able to pack a few things to give in person). Becca's working very hard on preparation and will have some exclusive stuff for adults debuting there! 

Similarly, lots of cool guests including some very notable cosplayers and voice actors and other artists! It also seems like it's going to be a very activity heavy con if that's your jam! 

It's also our first time in the DFW area, so if you have recommendations, those would be appreciated! 

Then, if everything goes right with the first two cons and I'm still feeling groovy, I am tentatively planning on going up to TFCon LA on 3/10. Again, this is health and finances permitting after two other back-to-back shows, and I am not coming as anything other than an attendee, but if you catch me at Jack Lawrence's table and want me to sign your Wreckers or Alex Milne's table and want me to sign your TF/Terminator or whatever, I'm happy to do so! 

And finally, I expect to be attending WonderCon 2023, March 24-26! Again, same deal as TFCon--my availability will depend a little bit on not having gotten sick/burned out from the other shows with only one weekend of "downtime" and I'm going mostly as an attendee, rather than tabling individually or with IDW, but this is the one con where I'll be most open for meetings. 

After that, I have to assume that I'll hibernate until the summer! And somewhere around there I'll get back to what I mistakenly proposed last week and do another "Ask Me (Almost) Anything". In the meantime, new posts are going to be coming to the blog, but they'll be a little irregular because they'll be coming in-between shows!

“You’ve been smelling like way too much sugar since last night. Pleaseeee don’t get any closer.”

“Well happy Valentine’s Day to you too, my dear brother~” she says as she place the last package of chocolate on his desk.

“Augh! Put that thing away! You know I won’t eat that!”

“Sure sure~ which is why your chocolate will be going into my stomach~”

She can’t help but feel bad for her little fool of a brother who hates sweets. This poor bastard. Sweetness is deliciousness.

Well a lot of things are deliciousness. But sweetness is one of them indeed.

“Vivian.”

“…Oh! Alex! What’s the matter??”

It caught Viv by surprise. Alex is a cool girl, but she’s not really the type who would usually go up to Viv for chit chat, so this is pretty rare.

“Hey so… I don’t usually do this kinda thing, but since you’ve been giving all of us your heartily gifts for 3 years.” Alex says as she gives a fancy dainty little package to Viv. “There. Happy Valentine’s Day, Vivian.”

“O. Oh. Oh wow.”

It’s a package of cookies. They look like they’re handmade as well.

“T-thanks…! This is so cute! You’re so sweet…!” Viv holds the gift up in front of her face, but it’s not big enough to hide her blushing face and huge smile. “W-w-wanna go out with me?”

“Ha. Hush. Seeya.”

She just gave her hair a ruffle and ended their interaction.

Viv feels like she’s in the air. “Hehe. I think she’s shy.”

“Or maybe she’s not interested in someone who would literally ask out every single person on the planet earth.”

“Hey! Don’t be a dick to your sister bc you didn’t manage to give Liam anything!”

“God will you keep your voice down?! Wtf??”

"O-Oh, sorry about that--but regardless, you're pretty cool for a flying robot thing..." Open mouth, insert foot. Would she ever stop being a socially awkward noob? Probably not. She wasn't sure what Data meant that 'that would be more Selene' since the girl certainly seemed quite solid and alive, but maybe things were not what they seemed here. At least, not in this timeline...?

"Honestly, I'm not really sure how I got here...? I don't think I was doing anything different..." The last thing she remembered was debating on how much time she had for lunch before meeting with the rest of the platoons in preparation for the next attack. "I mean, I was aboard the Alex Logan--uh that's the base I stay at--and kinda milling about, and maybe being sorta bored and...sleepy?"

Maybe this was all some really real, hallucinatory dream?

"The reason I asked is just...well, I guess I kinda have a 'guardian' too, but he's much harder to see--well, actually I don't even know if it's possible for anyone else to see him..." Now that Sio thought about it, she never saw other people's e-genes, only her own. The only person she knew to even be remotely aware of communicating with other e-genes was Adam, but from what she'd learned, his sensitivity was an exception and not the rule. "I'll spare the complicated details 'cause I don't even know how it really works myself, but his name's Oda Nobunaga and I'm basically his reincarnation. But I can use this," she held out her AU ball, which somehow was still with her, "and turn him into a giant gun to fight aliens from outer space trying to destroy my planet."

The sniper hoped that sounded less crazy than it did in her head, but after so many speeches of 'what is an e-gene holder and how do they work' this was the best elevator pitch she came up with.

"Ah ha ha ha ha...I know, crazy right? Aliens and reincarnation...if I wasn't living in it right now, I wouldn't believe it either..."

"A...ghost?" If ghosts could be solid, Sio would have expected them to look a lot less mechanical and more...floaty? Transparent? "Doesn't look like any undead spirit I'd know..." But then again, e-genes technically weren't ghosts so...what did she know. "Sorry, I wasn't exactly expecting a drone to be called a 'ghost'. You know, like the stuff you see in Halloween? All white and spooky and stuff?" The blank stares she was getting squashed any further probing.

Nevermind. These guys didn't look like the kind of folks who'd even heard of holidays.

A guardian, though; that implied some kind of defender, or fighter? The girl certainly looked to be more than just some world-weary traveler, given her gear, and the drone--Data, she corrected herself--and they were talking about some camps and some place called the Echoes? It all sounded very...sci-fi. 'Oh man, I feel like I'm in some kinda SF movie...! I wonder if there's any kaiju...' Then she reminded herself that her life at DOGOO was basically one giant kaiju movie. And movies were admittedly a lot less stressful than real life. 'Okay nevermind, I take that back.'

Sio laughed sheepishly and tried not to sweat. "S, So you're a ghost, but with a name, Data...that's kind of cute. And you are," she turned towards the hooded figure, "Selene? That's cool. I'm Sio Ogura, and...yeah, given that I kinda don't know what you're talking about with guardians and lights and stuff...I'm probably lost, aren't I?"

He actually thinks the idea is nice but I feel like he himself isn't much into doing it himself

Maybe he is honestly, what do I know. Taking a bath while smoking a cigg sounds cool as fuck and that kinda have his vibe

He might join you once or twice but maybe he'd be a little too flustered

He loves that idea and thinks it's cute that you do it regularly and even fill the whole thing with mostly bubbles

I think that Brian enjoys a nice bath himself but only when something's been rough on him and he needs to de-stress

He will, however, gladly join if you offer

Most of the time he's not planning anything to happen when going in, he just thinks the idea of sharing a bath can make a nice moment for the two of you

HOWEVER, Brian's a bit of a dog and wouldn't mind if things ended up happening, but that's only if you're down for it

I honestly think Alex just gives you your privacy when you take a bath

But when he does know that you put an ungodly amount of bubbles he's honestly like "Why did you make so much?"

He gets the appeal but like the bubbles usually stay once you drain the bath so the bubbles are in the tub like 🧍

I do think that because he wants to respect your privacy, he wouldn't ask or think that you would want to take one with him since most of the time when a person takes a bath, it's like, their alone time

But he won't really say no. He'll try it

But it might feel a bit awkward to him
