“Hi Bonbon!!” |You smile big and wide and wave at them excitedly.| “‘M working on the garden!!”

“Okay!” |You say, undeterred.| “Wanna dig in the dirt?”

|Bonnie looked at you confused, then squinted.| “Maybe. What’s in it for me?”

“Worms!!!” |You say way too excitedly. You drop your shovel and go to your bucket of gardening tools and dig around| “Wanna see me summon a buncha worms at once?!?”

“. . . Why would I want worms?” |Bonnie walks next to you.|

“Worm pie!”

|You get out two sticks, one of them was longer and ribbed.| “Look at! This!!” |You stick the stick deep in the ground, then start rubbing it up and down with the other stick.|

“. . . . . You look weird-”

“Shh! Shh!!” |You keep it up, and eventually, like magic, worms started poking up from the ground.|

“WOOOOOOOORMS!!!!”

“WOAH!! WORMS!!!”

“What’s this about worms?” |You look over at the house and Nille was coming out the front.| “Woah. That’s a lotta worms.”

“I know right!!!” |You said with sparkles in your eyes.| “It’s so cool!!!”

“Why’d you want so many crabbing worms anyway.” |Bonnie mumbled.|

“Cause all those batty little worms are the beeeest thing for a garden!” |You giggled happily and picked up a few of the worms and spread them across the garden box you were planting in.|

“Huh.” |Nille rubbed her chin, then put a hand on her hip.| “. . . So! What’s your name?”

|You sink down into your shoulders and look down awkwardly.| “Uhm. . . ‘S Jasmine.”

“Well, Jas, mind if I call you Jas? How do ya like the garden box? I saw the old one was broken so I put together a new one for ya.”

“THAT WAS YOU???” |You exclaim, head snapping up, flapping your hands excitedly.| “Oh thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!! It felt really sturdy and nice and mmmmmm!!!” 

“Woah careful, I think if I get you any more excited you’ll explode.” |Nille patted you on the back.|

“YEAH!!! Moths are Dreaming and Shining ones messengers!!” |You nod excitedly.| “Start living life asa caterpillar, go into a pupa so you’re not anything, then c’mout asa moth to send messages! ‘N then die, sending messages back to Shining and Dreaming, and then come back!”

“Woooooah!” |Bonnie looked invested.| “Is that why moths are so dumb?”

“Bonbon!!” 

“WHAT?!? IT’S A FAIR QUESTION!!!”

“Mhm mhm mhm!!” |You stomp back over to the garden as you talk.| “Lotta moths uhm, get attracted to light!! ‘Cause that’s the fastest way ‘t get back!”

“. . . Oh.” |Bonnie's expression drops. They look away, sad.| “So like ‘Frin.”

“O-oh-” |Nille bites her lip, and kneels down next to Bonnie.|

|There’s an awkward silence for a few seconds. Bonnie crossed their arms and looked away, Nille stood by them, you stood at the garden, awkwardly. You didn’t want to make Bonbon feel bad, you like Bonbon! You like them a lot! Uhm, what do you do when you’re sad. . ?|

“. . . Wanna plant some tubers with me?” |You ask, smiling softly.|

|Bonnie glances at you, then away, pauses, takes a deep breath, and nods.| “Okay.”

|You beamed. Happily digging out a spare set of gloves and trowel for Bonnie as they stomped over and kneeled down. Nille ducked inside for a moment while you and Bonnie got to work.|

|Bonnie stabbed the dirt.| “. . . You can keep singing that song. Or, whatever it was.”

“Huh? Okay!” |You nod, and join in on the stabbing.| “‘S a song about a miller!”

|You smiled big and wide as you cleared away the last of the weeds and dead plants. Nille came back out with two big covered mugs of cocoa for the two of you.|

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I absolutely love the recs you've given (you've introduced me to tomione, and I love it!) and I was wondering if it's possible to give you some recs in return? There are some books and fics that definitely have dramione / got vibes, and I was wondering if I could share them with you!

So glad you've enjoyed them! Feel free to rec me anything you want. I've read most of the classic recs in terms of fic and adjacent content (Cruel Prince et al), but I'll try anything that's well-written. My tastes run towards weird and/or audaciously creative stuff, and I can forgive a lot of weaknesses in plot on the grounds of (1) ambition or (2) character work. My turnoffs are instalove, protagonists who can't fail, and most Y/A (I'm not a hater, I swear, I just need characters who can say "fuck" when their leg gets chopped off.)

I'm also a fan of weird and fucked-up dynamics.(Wuthering Heights was my favorite book for a while, and as a teenager I wrote an AU in which the book ends on a long sex scene where Heathcliff fucks Cathy's ghost and then immediately gets murdered by Catherine 2.) Obviously, I am very normal.

Gemi/Gemini: Unless they're a supernatural entity themselves, the twins' darling will always be shorted with how big they are expect for human form where they're somewhere over 6 ft. To answer your question - they love it. HI SWEETS!

I'm really good! I've got a routine for meds. Thank God the injections are over, because I've got some mean looking bruises on my belly. Most of the surgical glue has flaked away (I might have picked at it a leetol bit...) and I'm feeling better and better each day! I'm getting in a little over a mile a day, plus doing little stuff around the house to avoid sitting for too long. Overall, I'm feeling amaaaaazing!

I am taking my daughter to the mall today for her birthday. She turned 11 this week, and her favorite thing to do is shop (look out hahaha). Should be a fun day! And maybe tonight I'll come back and put some of my old fics back in my blog where they belong.

And dumpster diving in a filth-ridden receptacle that not even the seasoned plumber could name all of the different kinds of refuse he was ducking and dodging between? Sometimes life threw you curveballs like that.

     "Nnrgh...! Come on, a-come on! Mario could find a mousie's wedding ring flushed down 'da drain and into a pipe maze! This is'a nothin'!" Or, should be nothing, more like it. Clearly, the out-of-towner was having some trouble finding what he was looking for... whatever it was.

     Bah. He was getting nowhere fast. Maybe he had to enlist some locals' help on this one. The mutated cockroaches should know this bin pretty well, it seemed like they've been here for a while. And will persist here past the heat-death of the universe. Or maybe...

     "Oh! Ciao, signorina!" Mid-dive, would you believe it, sights came face-to-face with another person! A... person? In here? "Hafta admit, 'dis is far from the first place Mario expected to find'a some company...! But, eh... While I gotcha on 'da horn, can I ask you a question?" Sure, just ask the weird green trash goblin a question like you've known her your whole life, why not? He's seen stranger.

category five thinking about grovyle and midnight rn

Pre-Canon (Midnight is still a human)

Midnight is HORRIFIED to see a Grovyle in such an awful state.

There's one scene I constantly rotate in my Mind Palace where Midnight n Grovyle are hanging out in like a cave or something and Midnight is talking about how much they love painting. Grovyle ends up giving them a few berries he was gonna eat, but now he's more curious at what this kid can paint?

They took turns sleeping on each other so they could both have something soft to sleep on.

Midnight came out as nonbinary in the middle of Dusknoir trying to hunt them down. (As an aside: Midnight has effectively shocked Dusknoir with how much they hate him. They put the rage in teenager)

Mid-Game

Grovyle is pretty jealous of how close Vignette and Midnight are (she got dragged along too). He's upset that Simon has taken place as his partner when Grovyle describes him as (to quote my own fanfic) "as if a punching bag could talk"

He's more watchful over them. And also beating himself up for not recognizing his little trouble maker. Some part of him feels he doesn't deserve a relationship with them at all. Which causes him to push them away :)

Midnight and Grovyle talk a LOT during the Sharpedo Bluff. It's one of the few times Grovyle looks back on fondly and with less guilt (than usual)

Midnight asked him they'd disappear. Grovyle's response was "if it mattered, would you still be here?" (is constantly haunted by the fact he "lied" to Midnight)

Midnight makes him eat thre meals a day whenever theyre together.

Post-Canon

Unsure how they meet, maybe its by happenstance a few years later, or via Celebi's time travel. Grovyle does get nervous and Run Away tho.

Eventually they actually Meet and Midnight is like. "Yeah dude I figured I'd disappear. You're really bad at keeping things from me, lol"

Maybe he burrows in Midnight's fur (he's certainly the size for it). Leetol lizard hat.

Collared kitten au anon here - IF I WERE MORE CONFIDENT WITH MY WRITING ID DO IT FOR SURE!!! I've written one thing one time and it was fluff. But i have leetol ideas to share:

Like kitty having a subscription tier, simon and Johnny are the most expensive - one of the perks is that she makes custom videos for them. moans their names on camera and is a huge tease. Buys a collar with Simon's name on the tag and doesn't put it on but just bats at it all playful. Drives them both up a wall.

Maybe even sets up a donator play date goal. Whoever donates x amount gets to be featured in a video and can play with kitty, donor gets to choose the theme.

MEANWHILE kitty thinks these dudes are kinda cringe but loves the attention and money, and sometimes they say things that get kitty irresponsibly wet . But she's never had a master before so she's definitely not gonna let some strange man collar her, even if his video requests always send a thrill up her spine that leaves her eying up the collar with his name on it.

Kitty secretly wants a master but doesn't know how to let herself be owned 😿
