I’m a bit sad, I was aiming to join a reknown art school here in my(?) country, but the amount of work was excessive for me and I also had a migraine for 2 days. So I barely have half of the stuff done and I have to send it in today at midnight… So I’m kinda giving up but still going to another art Uni if things don’t go well TT TT

On another note, I’m going to get myself a new phone tomorrow and build my pc which I’ve been collecting the parts for a few weeks now,, silver linings😔

how i think clawdeen, frankie, and draculaura would take notes/keep in their bag

Clawdeen: takes notes like a conspiracy theorist. they're semi-clean with diagrams, arrows, and question marks EVERYWHERE. she also scribbles instead of erasing. she has a system to note-taking (Clawd doesn't understand). Clawdeen's notebooks always have stickers or decorations on them, with some sticky notes or papers sticking out at the edges. she has a pen, mechanical pencil, sharpie, eraser, and sticky notes in her pencil case (and somehow doesn't loose any of them). she has her core refresh bag, cup, moon chips to snack on, and her icoffin. she gets school lunch most of the time.

Draculaura: she's on top of her studying and finishes note-taking faster than most. she writes in cursive and makes sure her notes are pretty (she thinks it makes her study better). she'll sometimes work on potion recipes on the other page. her pencil case, which has her intials engraved, carries MANY gel pens, highlighters, and pencils. Draculaura gets her signature heart bag, with her glasses, sunscreen, and icoffin. for lunch she gets a deli meal. she makes sure to share her food with everyone at the table.

Frankie: does NOT know how to take notes. they're trying to learn, but being 15 days old, their notes aren't the cleanest. they try to emulate draculaura's clean handwriting, but end up doodling on the bottom of the page. they are also the only one who can decipher their handwriting. Frankie doesn't have a pencil case, instead they bought a set of colored pens (they thought it was pretty. none have been lost!). they carry a studded messenger bag with a water bottle, sour gummy candy, their headphones, and icoffin. for lunch they usually buy the creepateria screechza.

Long post ahead so sorry in advance but this is important:

So, the republicans have control of all three branches of the federal government now. First, and most important thing, is to not lose hope. Do not loose hope. Do not succumb to defeatism, they are going to have the power to do the worst of the worst, so we need to hit them back just as hard.

This means taking action, real action, not just complaining on twitter. Get out on the streets, haggle elected officials-republican or democrat, protest, march, break the laws if you need to. Most importantly, find people to build a community with. We keep each other safe, so go out into the world and create these safe spaces, places where we can empower each other to take action.

Second, no, this is not the fault of third party voters. I saw someone say once that liberals never say they failed, they are failed. I’m sorry but the Arab and Muslim Americans that refuse to vote for Kamala Harris because she and Biden killed members of their family are not to blame for Trump winning. I’m sorry but pro-Palestinian supporters that stand in solidarity with them are not to blame here. Democrats are not obligated to our vote. They lost because their policies are flawed, and for many Americans, genocide is the line they won’t cross. Do not act like that is something wrong and immoral, it’s not. Do not blame people for voting third party, blame the democrats for driving those voters away.

Now is the time to ~and excuse my phrasing~ capitalize on this loss. You wanna shout and yell and scream and have someone to be mad at? Aim it at the Democratic politicians that stopped even trying to appeal to their base. Their loss is their fault. Make sure they know it, and make sure they know that if they don’t change their policies it’ll happen again. Now is not the time to get mad at each other and separate, now is the time to unite and stand together, undivided.

Lastly, to any members of the LGBTQ community that may happen to see this, especially trans folk, I can’t imagine what you’re going through right now. But just know, that you are, just by existing, fighting back. The world is a much richer, deeper, beautiful and better place to be because you are in it. We need you, and we need you to be unapologetically yourselves. Please take care of yourselves.

Republicans may be elected, but that doesn’t mean they’re not going to be met with a fight when they try to take away our rights. Stand strong and stand together

Seeing some debate on if in game henry being an ink version of him makes the time loops less evil and imo it makes it even MORE evil. He was given false memories of a life he never lived, been put through hell and back ever since creation and has no hope of any other purpose in the world. He was literally MADE to suffer. And he isn't even the henry that had left joey, just some replica he made to take his anger out on with no regards to that person's wellbeing

Just because he's made of ink doesn't mean he's any less alive. He still feels things, still has thoughts and opinions, still conscious, he is a living being. No, just because he isn't the real guy doesn't make it less cruel. Its just as, or even more so, a disgusting and evil thing to do to him

More progress being made. I finished re-reading The Illusion of Living this past Friday. It's a nice book. 👍 This was the last of the Bendy books in this "marathon" that I'm doing which I had already read previously and now I'm rereading, meaning that I'm kind of up to date when it comes to rereading all the books that were released until December 2021. But the race is not over yet. Soon I'll start Fade To Black, and (technically) I'll finally be up to date.

Just to continue my chain of posting about the books I finished (at least, the main ones that I really wanted to read) here it is…something I did at the beginning of March, on the night when shit went down. (I hope you know what I'm talking about). I saw the tweets first hand, I was there! Right at the damn moment. And it was..something reading those tweets alright. If the image above doesn't show it, my mood that night and the next 1-2 days wasn't so… great. You might read this and think I'm exaggerating, but that night especially I, uuhhh, I didn't feel good! And this image (and maybe 2 more posts I made that night) are the results of that. (And to think that a week before this happened, I had finished rereading DCTL after a long time. Talk about better/worse timing than this)

At least, if you want the bright side of this, it's that even after that day, I decided to continue with my book marathon, and I don't regret it. I was down that day, but I wasn't out yet damn it!! and I'm still not. (I don't know if this sentence makes a lot of sense, but you get my point)

As a bonus, here's something I did the night I got to the part where Henry is first mentioned in the book (you can consider this as a representation of my reaction when he's first mentioned, both for when I read TIOL for the first time in 2021, as now in this rereading)

I see some people disliking the ending with the time stuff due to it going against season ones message. While i understand, i think i need to see how the time stuff actually plays out next season… Or maybe i just think there’s ahem worse writing choices this season

yeah i mean that's valid! people already didn't like season 2 because of how different it was from season 1.

but like...unpopular opinion, but season 1 was no masterpiece lol. it was cute, i guess, but i've definitely seen this kind of thing done better before (these slice of life, individual stories). what i really enjoyed about the series was lg and cxs and their relationship; and i came to really love ql too, and how she was like a big sister to cxs.

but (and this is ALSO unpopular) I really enjoyed the thread about emma back in s1, and the more exciting mystery/thriller stuff. i found that fun and exciting. so when s2 was more of THAT i was excited. i agree with everyone else that it was executed poorly and the writing was sloopy; but imo it's no downgrade from s1 or anything. kind of just more of the same? i was just bummed there was less of a focus on my two favorite characters.

BUT THEN THEY CONFIRMED A FAN-FAVORITE THEORY AND MADE THE FOCUS LG AND CXS AGAIN SO I DON'T GIVE A SHIT LC IS THE BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME 10/10 NO COMPLAINTS
