So Levraut actually has a song we recently heard and went HOLY SHIT ITS LEV’S THEMESONG! Which would be [Creator, by Lena Raine] it has the mysterious suspense of the music box at the start, and then shifts into the cadence of something I associate with the Sea, which is something that sounds like Accordion ahaha (and then it further intensified with electric guitar, which isn’t usually in his soundscape, but it’s So Good)

For Tuesday I’d have to say my first choice is [Hello World, by Louie Zong] as far as songs that make me immediately associate with Tuesday lololol. The other song I have is [Waltz No. 2, Robot, by Hikaru Shirosu] it has, to me, the cadence of going shopping in a small market, but you’re still very ‘young’ in a sense, and small obstacles can feel like big obstacles 🫢 it’s also Piano, which is one of the instruments associated with Keathan! Who has a very heavy influence on Tuesday’s soundscape :3

For Chuusday…. Picking just one is rly hard… hm… it’s not on EITHER of her playlists I think, but [Home Beyond The Horizon by I think Masoyashi Soken and Daiki Ishikawa] Which is a song played on a crunchy, tinny radio. She’s not patriotic, but it was too large a part of her life for it to not have had some major impacts on her, lol. For a less/more serious song (???) I’d say [Hardware Store by Weird Al Yankovic]. It’s got. The vibe. LMAO.

Tangy is also hard to pin down, but I think [Fell In Love With A Girl, by White Stripes] does a pretty good job of suiting both the vibe and at least a Lil Bit the lyrics [because the first three lines remind me of Minfilia and Tangy :/ not that I ship them explicit romantic 100% of the time, but it coulda been. It coulda.]

Ooh, yes! 👏 The lyrics fit pretty good with Viktor’s and Yvette’s love story, specifically not long after they parted ways and Viktor was still pretty hung-up on her. I also have some other songs in mind that fit their story, one or two I’ve shared previously.

I find the intro is a fun hook that draws you into the song.

The song is definitely good but I will say that I do agree with some critiques stating it was a bit monotonous.

Some say it's because there aren't any memorable peaks, I misheard a lot of the lyrics so I have memorable peaks 😏

Personally it doesn't bother me that much, or at all cause I'm still gonna be jamming to this on my playlist.

On the Seoul (K)overs Billboard, I'm ranking this at #5.

It's not mind-blowing good to me but it's still pretty good and catchy but not in an obnoxious way.

im not the same anon but i agree with them so much she never ever promoted kat’s songs or music videos eveerrr until now lol, she went HARD core promoting colby’s song on insta and tiktok and she would randomly post the music video on twitter lmao and she even put the song on her playlist (edm playlist lol his song doesn’t fit there at all) but never did that to kat at all until now that’s why people noticed the sudden change. My theory is she’s trying to get on kat’s good side and prove to her that she’s a good friend and she should take her back 🤔

I do think it's funny that she put an early 2000's emo rock inspired song on an EDM playlist and thought that wouldn't raise a few brows. 🤣

And I want to say that I don't disagree that it's weird that she's suddenly so gung-ho to promote Kat. The week has come into its calm after the storm of summer classes and errands, and I've been easing into it with these lovely little European biscuits and rosemary crackers, covered in fig paste and cream cheese!

On the topic of biscuits, I can't stop thinking about that one part in wisteria wishes where it's just like, reader made homemade sweets while Inupi repaired her car and it's like,, that's the softest thing ever 😭 maybe I should try that when I'm in a phase of slow-burn with someone

Unfortunately I've yet to ease into the whole Christmas cheer as we still don't have a tree in the house yet, but I'm told we're going for a proper pine tree this year, which I'm very excited for as the house will carry the scent of Christmas from my childhood! I felt like those times were truly magical as a child, but I always felt slightly suspicious at the thought of leaving beer for Santa instead of milk 🤔

Around this time, high end fragrance brands have unleashed their wrath, but I can't help but swoon over Chanel's commercials for their aesthetics, even more so when I imagine Ran as the gentleman male lead in a suit 😭 maybe this is my closet love for the whole chic aesthetic coming through! Imagine Ran and Reader starring in some gorgeous Chanel commercial oh my god.

Now today I've been able to get a bit of writing done, which made me wonder if there's anything that helps you get into the flow of it? Do you have playlists for your specific wips? Is a good ol' Pinterest board perhaps your best friend? For me personally, I do rely on a lot of atmospheric things but there are times where I suddenly think of a really good line or scenario that I just have to write it then and there, sleeping schedule be damned. (No but seriously, a good sleep is vital)

Are there everyday objects and things that remind you of a specific tokrev boy? Because one thing I love about your writing is how you associate characters with certain scents and everyday things that just make the reader go "yep, that's him".

Alas, sometimes even silence with a comforting beverage does wonders for the writer's brain!

Your snack of rosemary crackers with fig paste and cream cheese... it gave me cravings. it sounds so good, I hope it tasted good! it gave me the feeling of a hot summer afternoon overlooking a turquoise ocean, wearing white linen and lounging on divans... sigh... why do I need a holiday after just coming back from a holiday?

AND making homemade sweets for someone is a love language, and it is my love language, which is why I included it in wisteria wishes, because that is 100% how I would try win Inupi's heart. also it works! even if it isn't for winning over potential lovers, giving gifts of homemade sweets to others is really special. I love baking for my partner's family over Christmas<3

Hmm the smell of pine is really lovely <3 and I do wish that I could have at least experienced that sort of Christmas once - maybe once I've relocated to somewhere colder I will make an effort. when it comes to building characters and their stories I use a variety of sources of inspiration. With individual characters I associate certain songs with their personality, along with phrases and behaviourial ticks that I notice in the manga (think Toji's "ah, gotcha" and the way he scrunches his nose when he's irritated) then I just place my own self-indulgent ideas on top of them - names I'd like to be called by them, the way I imagined them to smell.

Thank you so much for the comment about my ability to capture the elements of certain characters, it gave my heart the warm fuzzies <3 and the confidence to open the word document and carry on<3 <3 <3 you made my day

the story only comes when I start writing. With rose red it was "champagne, red roses, and those scarlet silk dresses that are all the rage these days" and then I went from there. I never started rose red with the plan to make it a story about cheating, that just happened >_<

I have specific playlists for specific manga (I have a TR playlist and a JJK playlist, and then a playlist for my biker AU) but other than that I have playlists for certain moods or types of writing. I also listen to a lot of lofi (esp when I wrote rose red and wisteria wishes) .

Other than that, there's just a lot of daydreaming. a LOT of daydreaming (I never seem to be on this planet) There are also a lot of fragments of writing stuck into my notes app from my suddenly sitting up at 3am with an idea and rambling on in the dark for a bit. Quite a few fics have been born from these fragments
